Yea idk how I haven't shared them here yet but here's some doodles of Tabitha and "Apathy" (she ain't got a name yet), the two protags of my ghost story!

Grieving after the sudden loss of her grandmother, Apathy accidentally becomes bound to the spirit of Tabitha, a young girl who was murdered in the 1870s. Stuck together in unfamiliar circumstances, the two must discover how to send Tabitha on to the afterlife, and if they even can.

Paradise lost devils cuddle headcannons!

(I got bored and needed something fluffy. Maybe I'll make a series out of this but who knows. It would probably take me some time to finish it though)

Buer

- Definitely has super fluffy bedding,think fur blankets. In the winter,perfect. But if you're laying in them in summer,it's pure torture. That's why he changes them to shorter furs for comfort,though it's still quite hot,especially if you're cuddling.

-Will rub your sore muscles while you rest in his arms. When he's sure you're comftrable and safe,he starts chatting quietly with you. Asking you about your day,what you were up to...

-Sometimes his mind goes back into his doctor mode and he starts suggesting all the diffrent ways you could take care of your body and mind,which almost always leads to him rambling on and on. It is a very cute side of him,but makes you quite sleepy.

-And sometimes,when he had a long day,he just holds you in silence,his head buried deep in your hair. If you ask him on what happened,he would give you some vague answers. Please pat his head and squieeze him closer to yourself. Maybe talk to him about something fun and positive to lighten the mood. He will soon relax,feeling a bit better. He might just give you a smile,but this time it's a genuine one. Then he places a few kisses on your nose and cheeks before whispering how much he loves you.

Marbas

-With him you only have two options. Either let him be tied up and lie like a plank or release him and his clothes will fall off. Seriously,he is already a big amn yet somehow buys clothes which are even bigger than him to the point,the straps are the only thing that holds them up.

-In any case,he's making you lie on top of him. He's a pretty tall and wide man. Build like a matress. His muscles may seem a bit hard and uncomftrable to rest on but when he relaxes,his muscles are just like soft flesh. Warm and comfy. He's like a big teddy bear!

-He enjoys having something to hold him down,be it restraints or his partner (Especially if they're smaller than him which is not that hard).

-If you decide to keep hin restrainet,try to hug him from the side,one leg over his waist and keep your head on his shoulder. It warms his heart when he can feel your whole body against his.

-Will bury his face in your hair if he can reach it. Otherwise,he just watches you all night.

-Now if he's free and his clothes somehow don't fall off,he WILL take them off! Actually why don't you take them off too? You won't need them anyway. He can just warm you up with his body.

-In the end,both of you agree to only stay only in underwear while you cuddle.

-He still keeps you on his chest with the addition of his arms wrapped around you,making sure you don't fall off of him while you sleep.

Morax

-Just as you would imagine,he gives the best cuddles.

-When you cuddle,it's normally on the bed,snuggling in each other's arms,where you can have some proper rest. You from your daily troubles and Morax from spending his day,slowly destroying his body in attempt to help other devils.

-His favorite position is when he can wrap his arms around your torso and have his head on your chest while you play with his hair. He can listen to your gentle breathing and you can feel some part of his actual body and not the moist bandages that cover him.

-There are times when he would szart randomly bleeding. Either his bandages finally got soaked enough to leak or his wounds got open if you accidentally squeezed him too hard. Yea,you need to be very careful with this devil,even when he assures you he's fine and even tries to apoligise for ruining the sheets.

-At times like this you need to replace his bandages and give him a few kisses of reassurence. He will be all smily and blushing by the end. He's happy to have someone who cares and pampers him for a change. You give him a reason to be more mindful when healing someone,since he knows you hate seeing him in pain.

Gamigin

-Now with Gamigin,every cuddle just happens out of the blue.

-When he sees you laying down,it's his natural instinct to snuggle up to you. Be it in his dragon form or his human one.

-The type to cuddle you in a bathtub and make the whole bathing experience into a date.

-After washing your body with his own two hands,he will just let you relax against him while you talk about your day to each other.

-If you offer to wash him in return,he will happily oblidge,but just be careful with your touches if you don't want this to get steamy. He's a sensitive dragon.

-While you lay against him and chatter,he might start randomly playing with your hair.

-And by the end,if you fall asleep in the tub,he will do his best to not wake you up and at the same time take you out of the water,dry you off and dress you.

-He doesn't want to bother his lover when they look so sweet.

-And when he's sure you're properly taken care of,he will carry you to the bed and continue your little cuddle session there.

-If he turns in his dragon form,be sure to hold that little thing close to you. Pet his head and rub his scales. He will purr like a cat.

Desert Duo Doodles! I am in way too many fandoms to count, including content creators and whatnot. It wasn’t until a doodle of some CCs that I realised how many were MCYTs. But I wanted to draw these two cause I liked how I drew Scar in the other original doodle and have drawn Grian a bunch but constantly changed the design. Now I have one that I like.

Under the cut are the individual drawings plus stickers that I forgot to add to the original but decided fuck it it’s done, plus some explanation about design choices and headcanons. (Does anyone even care about that?) Idk and idc, I’ll ramble anyways.

(you don’t have to read the stuff, I don’t really care, but you can if you want)

First off, this one was annoying since it was supposed to be a hug. I was too lazy to draw the Third/Sercet Life outfits, so they are in their default outfits with crowns representing the fact that they won at least one of the Life games.

Ramble: For Grian’s design, I wanted to keep the bird/avian hybrid but also reference other series or past friend. The Life series has the poppy has memorabilia, the blue and red bracelet represents YHS/TS, and the eye necklace is for Evo. The tail is more so a mix of Watcher magic and Avian DNA, bird feet cause why not. The wing ears are hidden to look similar enough to his regular hair, I like to imagine that wing ears are a rarer trait and to not draw too much attention, he would use Watcher magic to change the colour of the wing ears to match his hair. The freckles are based off of the idea that Angel Dust’s freckles are actually just eyes (which were shown in the show), and I liked that idea. He didn’t have freckles before Evo but after in Hermitcraft he did, they are just eyes that are always closed though he can see out of them. It’ll be clearer in the next piece, but his eyes are based off of some bird eyes so a black sclera with coloured pupils. Grian just hides his eyes under his hair since they are more sensitive than normal. Also I didn’t wanna draw his eyes cause it was one of the things I kept changing before.

I’ll go into Scar later since it’s just a half body but he goes by the same rule of his outfit showing where he’s been. So the poppy and lavender for Third Life and the heart necklace for Secret Life. The earrings are based off of the crystals from Season 7.

Alter Egos! Or at least Hot Guy and Arianna Griande. Not much here, but you can see what I meant with the eyes beforehand.

Also, I can’t be the only one to notice or at least point out that Ari and Cute Guy have like the same or a least a very similar colour palette of pink and white.

Final one, and the two are taking a much needed nap. This could take place anywhere though I like to imagine somewhere in Double Life or somewhere between Season 7 - 10

(also I find it very funny how close these two’s bases were for Season 6 - 10. both were near each other in the futuristic district of season six, then next door neighbours at the start of season seven, I don’t need to mention much besides boatem in season eight, again near the start and most of season nine with Scarland and Grian’s timejump build, then finally again in season ten with Magic Mountain. just funny to me for some reason)

Ramble: Scar is like a hybrid between an elf/fae creature and a cat centaur (that I cannot remember the proper name for). The cat half is based off of Jellie, RIP, and his body is scarred because well I mean the dude is accident-prone it’s bound to happen. I imagine that Scar would wear slightly baggy outfits, like they hang off just a bit to not hug his figure. His hair is more based off of Season 9 with him leaning into the whole elf aesthetic, and I both hate and like the hair but whatever. Idk, I kinda just wanted to make him centaur based cause that visual isn’t something I see often. I imagine that hind legs are weaker than the front so he would switch between a cane and a wheelchair that you would see for animals. I might draw that later idk, but yea

On the other hand, your anxiety was at a all-time high as you were now experiencing severe panic attacks, scared of having an encounter with your stalker. It got to the point where if you would hear a trash bag rustle, you would flinch and panic. 

“Babe I’m going to the studio” Jack said as he sat on the bed.

In less than 15 minutes, he went back home. Meanwhile your bodyguard alerted the cops.

In case anyone is interested, I might have some information from reddit in regards to the news about the new DMC anime. I'll link it below. But it doesn't appear that the show will have the same VA for Dante that most of us are used to. No word yet on anyone else. I'll keep my ear to the ground. I'll also let you know if I get confirmation on a release date.

On a secondary but no less important note, I'm sorry if this is how you find out about Ruben's behavior and apparent personality, especially on twitter. I know. It sucks. I'm hurt, too. I didn't know until relatively recently, and I'm still not sure how to process it all. I wish he would come to his senses and get some help or something. I don't even know anymore. I never knew him personally or anything, but it is shocking to find out. Maybe I just wasn't looking close enough.

It's a lot to take in, and it gets worse every time I hear about it. Smh.

Sorry if I had to be the one to rip the bandaid off. It's okay to be very disappointed. I am, too. I'm sure I'm not speaking for just myself when I say that DMC was a big part of my childhood (even if I wasn't supposed to be playing it because of my age), and still is a big part of my life. I love the series to death.

It's always hurtful to find out things like this about someone who plays a character so close to your heart. I imagine it hurts extra if he was a person you respected only to find this out. And especially if any of his views directly affect you on a personal level. I don't agree with or condone any of it. I'm sorry. Dante isn't my favorite character, but I've always liked him. I know it still hurts because I think we all, to some degree, just enjoy the voice cast as people and it hurts to find out that a member of the cast is like this outside of the studio. I guess it's a sobering reminder that people, no matter how surreal it might seem, the people who play the characters we love... are people. They are not as infallible as I like them to be. And I don't know them personally. It just sucks that you only ever get reminded of that in the worst ways.

Small re:zero rant (spoilers for LN) that are just an accumulation of things I haven't been able to rant about but gotta get out

I'm on the LN volume 18 right now and I'm so happy with the way re:zero is going after volume 15 (where the anime ends.) I was kinda dreading the whole ohhh nooo Subaru gets stuck and we gotta repeat a whole segment for the 4th time (not one of the times before did it annoy me but it gets tiresome after a while) but nah, my guy refuses to die and now he has a very fucked up black dragon leg. The relief I feel when the guy gets fucked up and just passes out and lives on instead of looping over and over is great, it's nice that the characters are also getting their own arcs because of it to (e.g. Garfeil's mummy issues ((almost made me cry tbh)) and it wouldn't have happened or would have gotten undone if Subaru kept resetting).

Ngl I took a reading break cause the start of the arc was very slice of lifey and while I enjoyed it there wasn't enough going on to make my dyslexic ass put in enough effort to get past it, but now everytime I read shits going on and it seems to have potential to get really good.

Alsoalso I know that at some point some shit happens to Subaru where he has some shit to do with wrath (I've tried to stay away from details as much as possible) and I'm very excited to see what happens with that and how they do it, especially since the archbishop of wrath is one of the enemies rn

Alsoalsoalso Subaru and Julius are sooooo fucking gay, why is every interaction so fruity??? How were they not meant to be written as bfs like their dynamic from a romantic perspective is so much more interesting than any relationship Subaru has with anyone else (I'm fine with like Emilia/Rem and it makes sense why they like him but like it's boring I'm sorry). Also I know the story is written in 3rd person and the descriptions aren't actually Subaru's direct perspective but it's just so funny to me how often Julius is described as a really handsome man and no one else is. I like to imagine this is Subaru's demons (bisexuality) coming out.

I do have issues with it (mmmm some designs ESPECIALLY the archbishop of LUST LIKE CAN THEY NOT) and sometimes they say some annoying ass horny shit which is always a :///. Also it's understandably gotten to a point where everyone loves Subaru as yk he's kinda saved everyone but it's just made many dynamics boring now. Like they don't have to dislike him or whatever but I think it would be cool if characters had more complex dynamics with eachother and the group wasn't just united by 'yea we all love Subaru!' (Beatrice kinda gets an excuse of she literally shut herself off from everyone and she's that close to Subaru because he saved her and is the only person she's let herself trust thus far, but also I hope she has more of a relationship with those around her)

BUTT other than that I'm enjoying the series (so sad the LN only goes up to 22 in english what am I going to do after I catch up

Maybe he’s not on the same level as France, but I think he’d still love anime and manga (especially anime). I remember being able to watch shows like One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and Detective Conan on mainstream (non kids) channels when I was younger. He would definitely have long conversations with France about whatever series they’re both into, and them going to cons and cosplaying together does sound super cute 😭 I can totally see it. The costumes they make together are probably works of art.

Also I have a headcanon that Feli’s favourite anime/manga series is Lupin III. There’s a lot of love for Lupin III in Italy- to the point where we get “special treatment” when it comes to releases and content. If I’m not mistaken, Italy has also produced quite a few Lupin comics of our own! So yea, I imagine Feli to be a super fan ❤️

This is a bit of a non-hetalia bonus but one thing I ALWAYS love to bring up are the Italian theme songs that were made for anime back in the day. My personal favourite is the Doraemon opening, and since we talked about one piece:

The AC-series products are at their best when they’re, you know, full of interesting things. Not that the screens or adventures are bad, but man, AC9 — Creature Catalogue (1986)? Hell yea. Imagine hiding a whole monster manual in an accessory line!

This is a square-bound book and you know you’re in good hands because it’s got a Parkinson cover. Lots of nice details — the dwarf’s eyepatch, the garland of skulls, the gnome’s entire energy.

Inside is, well, it says on the cover — it’s a catalog of creatures from the basic D&D game. A lot of these are weird and unique to the game (until Mystara introduced them to AD&D in the mid-90s). All sorts of weirdies like the Crone of Chaos, Wyrds, Nagpa, Levellers and so many more. Basic D&D is strange. In terms of art, though, the best part is the collection of title pages. Rather than just arranging the monsters in straight alphabetical order, they’re broken out into categories — Undead, Animals, etc. This isn’t great in terms of usability, but those title pages are Fantastic. I particularly like the thematic fonts.

This got reprinted in the 90s for the Challenger version of D&D. I posted that one back in January and I stick to my guns: this one is better, though for reasons I can’t quite put my finger on. It isn’t JUST the title pages, there is something about the typesetting and the monster art crops that just looks better. I don’t get it, but it’s true.

EVERYONE NEED TO READ RADIANT NOW!!!

doing Radiant propaganda but seriously. seriously read it. it's my favorite series and I have been following it since it came out, it got a huge succes in Japan, but then the hype died after the anime got out and it makes me so sad, because it's seriously amazing and I believe the Tumblr population would love it oh and, yea, I did say, READ! I would... heavily not recommand to check the anime. I haven't finished the first season because of just how bad it was. it's like, they tried to turn it into regular One Piece inspired shonen, the animation is quite terrible and in the span of 10 episodes, there is like half that are useless and complete fillers?? on the FIRST season??? bad. really bad.

I will now proceed to explain YOU, WHY you should read Radiant NOW

I'll start with explaining what is it about; Radiant is a manfra (french manga) created and illustrated by Tony Valente, and (apparently) the first french manga to get published in Japan, where it got a huge success the story takes place in a fantasy world that casually gets attacked by eggs falling from the sky, and that hatch into monsters called Nemesis. these monsters are able to use Fantasia, a magical source, and are devastating; as a matter of fact, any human entering in contact with them will instantly die, EXCEPT for a very small proportion. those who survived the contact will become "infected", which mean they will receive an unusal feature (this one can be visible, like a tail, or not visible, like mood swings), and will be able to manipulate Fantasia themselves, making them the only humans able to fight against the Nemesis. these people are called witches however, even if they are life saviors, witches are often badly seen, because they are as dangerous as the Nemesis themselves, and many rumors and beliefs are around them (that they made a pact with the Nemesis, that they are Nemesis themselves, etc...). as a result was founded the Inquisition, a mercenary group specialized in hunting down the witches, and fighting against Nemesis without the help of witches the main character of the story is Seth, a young witch who, after hearing about the Radiant, a theory about the existence of a "birthplace" for all Nemesis, wishes to destroy it

NOW it looks pretty common, and that's quite fair. the story takes a lot of inspiration from popular shonens, as well as the Arturian myth, with a lot of references to real life witch hunts. but there is many things that make it very special, and to start with its messages and the symbolism behind it. if you look at it, Radiant is a lot about the freedom of speech, and the expression of art. Fantasia is a magic system that relies a lot on the user's imagination and self expression, and the Inquisition is trying to limiting its use, pretty much like censoring. there is also a huge message against racism and discrimation as a whole, with the fight for freedom and acceptance of difference, but also with grey sides on both parts; whereas the Inquisition is discriminating witches and showing them as monsters, some witch groups will react violently to it, and start riots, attacking innocent civilians, and tun into the monsters the Inquisition was showing them as. the most important message of the entire series is humanity, and to learn how to "be" a human, with a lot of other messages

and it does it VERY WELL! dont get fooled by how slow the plot may be at the very first book, it quickly becomes something amazing on the first arc. every character is deeply attaching and human, they all have strengths and flaws, and their own story. it's also probably good to say that for a series with a message on differences, there is a lot of representations of all sorts, we have a lot of feminine characters with important roles, characters with skin of color, disabled characters, lgbtq characters... and it's hardly forced as if to fill an agenda. like for exemple, there is a blind character at some point, but characters dont point it out like "oh hey, are you blind?", and the character is not shown as being a weak, poor little thing. you understand it simply by seeing the character and how they act, and it's just clear, its smooth, and its normalized, and I find it amazing how it's represented

as well, the ART STYLE. Tony Valente started working alone, and now gradually got assistants to help him, but he's still doing a huge, HUGE part of the job, and makes it worth it to wait ~5 months between each book. the characters have really nice designs, there's a lot of variety in the shapes and body types, and some pages just made me sit down for a bit and go "wow". the series has been going on since 2013 (there is currently 18 books so far), and you can see Tony's improvement through it. I mean, look at THESE

I seriously cant stress it enough how much I lobe this series and how much I enjoy rereading it every so often, so really really, I recommand it vividly, and i want it to EXPLODE, i want maximum support and love for this series and the author!! i was reading it when i was 12, i still am reading it, and its very dear to my heart, even if i dont get to show it often because there's hardly any community around it,, so really, CHECK IT NOW

right before miorine challenges shaddiq, there's a real fast cut to him tightening his fist on the table and i gotta wonder how in the world he thought he'd be able to just talk this out after basically screwing miorine over like this and then trying to extort her lol. yea he was ready to have to duel if it came down to it, but like cmon man just be normal for once

this is definitely one of my favorite scenes from the whole series. just showcasing how highly suletta thinks of miorine. whereas miorine was upset suletta agreed to a duel with elan a few episodes back, suletta just never questions miorine challenging shaddiq

this has gotta be the moment shaddiq realizes suletta is a "rival" for miorine's heart, yea?

i hope if gwitch ever gets a recap movie or movies that we get the moment miorine finds out about ericht and aerial. as aerial hits permet score six and suletta is talking to her, we see miorine visibly confused over suletta talking to her mobile suit... and i just really really want to see miorine's reaction to finding out about eri on top of her inner thoughts on suletta talking to aerial. like at first i'm sure she thought it was some quirky thing especially calling it her sister, but it's gotta be something she was like wtf about, right?

made it to image limit so no more pics but one thing that's respectable about shaddiq is him realizing at the end of this episode that there really is something special between miorine and suletta even if perhaps at this point the two of them haven't outright acknowledged it. we see him acknowledge in ep 7 that miorine is becoming a better version of herself from suletta's influence on her, but him bringing up dueling for her hand in marriage, to me at least, is him hanging up his towel when it comes to miorine because he realized suletta really won her heart over - he literally says "maybe you'd have let me in [to the greenhouse]"

it's actually a grumbo au! it's essentially just a slowburn romance between them, with a very meet-cute beginning and some very angsty backstories (particularly mumbo im so sorry mr jumbo my beloved...). i don't want to spoil too much in the first ask about it, but i can definitely talk a bit about the plot and characters in it!! i don't imagine i'll end up writing a series for it like i had originally wanted to, so i'm very happy to talk about mostly anything!!

anyway! the general overview!

the au is set in a touristy coastal town, and it follows grian and mumbo, two busks. grian plays the guitar, and he has been since he was very young - it's his one true passion. he wants nothing more than to turn it into a career, to be able to share his music and inspire other people with his creations, but so far it's... not been working out. he works three jobs, just about making ends meet, and he's just like,, chronically tired. this poor man.

anyway, he busks for fun, just to see the way that people flock to his music, and it's a good way to make some extra cash!

mumbo is essentially his opposite - he busks because he doesn't really know what else to do. he enjoys playing the piano, sure, but he doesn't necessarily have a passion for it in the same way that grian does. he's an engineer, making plenty of money to live comfortably and still have a decent chunk of spare time, so he has a massive range of hobbies. he's not necessarily amazing at any of them, but he's decent and they keep him busy, so he's not about to complain.

he started songwriting a couple of years ago, but he daren't play anyone his music because he doesn't think he could stand their disapproval if they thought it was bad. instead, he tends to play seasonal music when he busks - summery, christmassy, and everything inbetween. he plays what people want to hear, and holds anything different close to his chest.

the pair of them play in a similar part of the town centre, on opposite ends of a broad central plaza, but they haven't ever really spoken. until, of course, they do :) i won't get into their meeting now, simply because this post is already long as hell, but i'm very happy to talk about it in another ask, if you were interested!!

and also, YES TRANSFEM SCAR. SHE'S MY EVERYTHING!! she's grian's best friend, an animator who largely works from her own studio and - whenever she has free time - draws caricatures for tourists next to where ever grian happens to be playing that night! :D

Ok yknow I just remembered that this series Very Explicitly states that it isn’t anthropomorphizing the animals but rather taking humans and turning them into animals based on how they act so actually the colors determining race thing makes more sense than the animals

It’s not that all cats would be like one race, any random person can be cat-like regardless of where they come from. And yea, instead of completely erasing racial issues it makes sense to make them still exist in some way

As for watching Marvel movies... I have seen a few- and on an unpopular opinion, Toby Maguire will always be my fav spider man (like ik tom holland and andrew garfield are cute- but just... nah. Standing at the door of the kitchen you watched as he stared at the counter, clutching a glass of water. Walking behind him, you circled your arms around his torso, nuzzling your nose into his back, hugging him close to you.
