This is not exactly true crime related, but I am hoping to raise some money for a wonderful cat rescue that deserves every penny they can get.

I have entered my chonky girl Violet into a photo competition, and if anyone could spare just a second and vote for her, it would mean a lot! You get up to 10 free votes per day. It does not cost a single penny, it's literally just the click of a button.

Last year, Violet was found living stray and alone under a bridge, foraging through rubbish to find scraps of food. She now lives her very best, spoilt queen life with me and my partner in the North Wales countryside!

I need to do something to cheer myself up. I found some old photos of cats I hadn't posted back in the day (2019) There was a time not so long ago when I volunteered at a local cat shelter and my dashboard was full of photos of all the cats I was taking care of (and little else). Dwight came in with fur so matted we had to shave him down to his saggy baggy skin. He didn't seem to mind too much.

Got bit BAD by a cat today at work, so had to get a rabies course and a tetanus shot which was fun.

Big ornery orange tomcat bit through my finger when I tried to get him out from under a table to give him his (ironic) rabies vaccine and in true -TV show I'm recently watching obsession- I decided to name him after a certain Ghoul.
