For my contribution to @storyweaverofgondor’s Cat-ucopia Event, I want to call attention to my favorite Pas De Deux, from the Buenos Aires production of Cats:

The Tumbletoria Pas De Deux-

A few months ago, @the-cat-at-the-theatre-door answered my request and made a wonderful Pas De Deux compilation. The above moment stood out to me, mainly due to Silvina Barañao’s acting. Her Victoria is fun and flirty! She is obviously so happy to be dancing with Tumblebrutus, and I cannot get enough of the cute Tumbletoria vibes. I noticed there are other productions where Tumble and Vicci dance together, but this is by far my favorite, and without it, I never would’ve thought to give the Buenos Aires production a chance. If you like Replica productions with interesting changes, then you should check it out!

I know this is just a super short analysis of a longer show, but I’m saving some extra trivia and analysis for a day when I’m feeling better. For now, I leave you with some pretty photos of Victoria and Tumblebrutus:

Alonzo Fights Macavity-

I think this Macavity Fight is so well done, especially when Alonzo jumps in (literally) to save the day. He does this absolutely mad leap at Macavity after Munkustrap is knocked out, dragging Macavity around until he’s shaking. I also noticed that Macavity tries to hypnotize Alonzo, which almost works, but luckily he’s able to snap out of it. 10/10, go Alonzo!
