mikey came to pick you up from school quite a lot, and the same thing happened that same day.

you’re waiting for him in front of your school, chatting with yuzuha on your phone, and when he pulls up, you hop on his bike and he rides away.

on his way, he stops to get dorayaki amd because the sunset seems “a little prettier” that particular day, he tells you to go watch it together.

you guys just sit in silence next to each other. it’s almost setting time and you just decide you can’t take it anymore. nuh-uh. emma has been eating your brains for the longest time now and she made it VERY clear: you either make the first move or you sulk in silence like a sore loser.

“mikey, ” you cautiously call out his name, and he twists his head into your direction instantly.

“yeah?” he hums back casually, a sweet smile plastered on his handsome face.

then you just kiss him (and he does it back WOOOOOOOOOO)

when the kiss ends, however, you feel a little embarrassed so you literally get up and try to run away, but mikey grabs you by the wrist and pulls you in for another kiss, and you fall right on top of him. he doesn’t care that his dorayaki is now fuck knows where, or that he’ll probably get a lot of shit for returning home with a dirty ass uniform and emma’s gonna chew his heart, soul and mind out for it.

then, he pulls a little away and between the kiss he whispers something.

“so emma really knows how to drill something in your head and make it clear, huh?”

you smack him gently and huff and puff as your cheeks start to red up, but he just laughs.

Chifuyu’s after school routine is always the same. meet up with baji at the school gate, walk home together and occasionally, hang out at baji’s place till night. But today was different, instead of walking into an empty living room, there was someone sitting on the couch in front of the tv, someone he did not recognise in the baji household.

“Oh? You’re home early” baji directs it to the figure sitting on the couch. Said person turns behind to face baji with a disinterested expression. 

Chifuyu freezes on the spot. He’d seen that angelic face before, passing by his class whenever he was daydreaming in class, and how he purposely walks the longer route to his class just so he could admire their beauty as they looked out their classroom window into the grassy land. No doubt, it was you, his crush, sitting on baji’s couch. His heart sank, of course you’d be taken by such a badass that is baji keisuke. Chifuyu believed that he didn’t even stand a chance, not when it was against baji, the coolest guy he’s ever known.

“I didnt even go to school today dumbass, im sick” you explained, expression growing more annoyed at the black haired male. Baji walks towards you, reaching a hand out to your forehead. Chifuyu couldn’t bear watching anymore, he couldn’t take seeing the one he secretly pins for being showered with care and love from another man. But, just as chifuyu was about to divert his gaze to the ground, baji flicks your forehead instead of feeling it, causing you to hiss in pain.

“What the fuck was that for, asshole?!” you seethed at baji, one hand slapping him in the arm and the other coming up to soothe your forehead.

“For calling me a dumbass” baji states plainly. It didn’t take long for the both of you to start bickering while chifuyu stood a distance from the both of you, dumbfounded. Was he… in the middle of some lovers’ quarrel? But yet, it didn’t feel like it, actually, now that he got a better look, the both of you look somewhat similar.. 

before he could place a finger on it, he was soon snapped out of his thoughts, “Could the both of you stop bickering for once? We have a guest over!” 

you and baji snapped your heads to the source of the voice, 

“Sorry mom..” the both of you said, glaring at each other in the process. 

That’s when a lightbulb lit in chifuyu’s head, you and baji are siblings. He sighed a breath of relief, maybe he does have a chance with you.

“Let’s go chifuyu.” baji’s voice brought chifuyu back to reality as he hurriedly followed baji into his room, sneaking a glance at you in the process. 

The atmosphere in baji’s room was silent between both boys, neither knowing what to say after the incident.

“Don’t bother going for y/n.” baji said out of the blue, catching chifuyu off guard as he stuttered and scrambled, trying to think of a proper response.

“I can tell you like them chifuyu, you’ve been staring at them ever since we stepped into the house.” chifuyu shuts his mouth, face turning a light shade of pink.

“they’re mean, rude, and annoying. you’ll never survive with them constantly nagging by your side.” baji sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose, almost as if he was relieving said experience again. The blonde male nodded and promised his friend that he’ll give up on pursuing his sister from then on. 

Soon, night falls and chifuyu was about to head out the front door when he was stopped by a soft voice calling out to him from behind. Chifuyu blushes, instantly recognising who it was.

“I’m sorry you had to listen to mine and keisuke’s bickering.. Here, take these as a form of apology from me and keisuke.” the flustered boy turns and reaches for the gift, which was a bag filled with snacks and cat treats. 

“Oh! Keisuke told me all about peke j, hope he likes the treats too.” you said sheepishly, giving chifuyu a smile, to which he feels like he’s gonna start melting from how adorable you look.

“T-thanks! I’m sure he’ll like them too!” the poor boy stuttered, free hand coming up to scratch the back of his head. 

You giggled, nodding at him, “have a safe trip back home!”

You wave as he steps out of your house, waving back at you. Once the door closes, chifuyu clutches his shirt, heart beating quickly as his face felt warm. Maybe… he could afford breaking that promise to baji.

Baji never really cared or paid attention to the other students with him in class well of course except for chifuyu .

Until that day he will never forget where you entered the classroom with that sweet smile you shined at everyone around you, Baji isn't the type to fall at first sight so it was lots of moments that made him set his heart on making you his , especially after that one time where peke j followed him to school and he didn't notice until he saw peke J in your arms as you cooed at the cute cat unknown to you that it belongs to Baji .

" I am telling you! She is an angel she looks like a beam of soft light !"

" are you sure it wasn't that big ass glasses you wear being fogged ?"

Chifuyu had to endure Baji talking about you most of the time that chifuyu already memorized your school routine from Baji's nonstop stories about you.

Baji saw you as a sweet girl who wouldn't hurt a fly so he almost passed out when he saw you in the front lines of the gang they were about to fight with, once the fight started his only goal was to find you first before another member does as the thought of someone hurting you made his jaw clench and blood boil , when he saw you in the field knocking toman members left and right he made his way to you, and you had the same reaction to seeing Baji as he did .

" Nerds can fight?"

The moment you said that you can see his soul leaving his body as he stared in disbelief, to his surprise you didn't hold back it was like a different person from the one he meets every morning.... he loved the contrast.

He lets you hit him as much as you want since he doesn't have the heart to hurt you and after the fight his face was all swollen and red from punches so chifuyu ran to him to make sure he was ok but felt weirded out when he saw a lovesick smile on His beaten up face .

" You ok ...? "

" She pulled my hair and I felt her soft hands from her punches"

" ??????"

The next morning at school you made your way to him and gave him a snack you had and left without saying anything, Baji understood you must have felt bad from hitting him yesterday and for the rest of the day he daydreamed about you, the snack you gave him is left untouched and taken care of on top of his bedroom drawer, he almost knocked chifuyu out cold for trying to eat it .

Chifuyu

He first noticed you when you were reading the last released volume of the manga he likes and got out his own manga from his backpack and walked in front of you 5 times back and forth trying to make you notice him until you finally did the 6th time .

You were happy to have someone to talk to about that underrated manga and Chifuyu was happy to talk to you, he listened to you as you talked about your favorite character and agreed with you on your hatred for that one side character , you guys also found out you live a block away from each other so for the last week you two would go to school together and walk back home together.

Chifuyu was worried and anxious to tell you that he can't walk home today since toman has a fight but he was surprised when you told him you will be busy after school he wanted to ask what will you be doing but he didn't want to seem nosy.

The poor guy had a heart attack when he saw you standing between your gang members all high and mighty , you stared back at toman as your eyes scanned the members and Chifuyu can see your eyes softened once you saw him , once the fight began you two didn't see each other as you two were busy but from time to time you two would look at the other fighting to make sure the other wasn't hurt , Chifuyu also acted like he was going to fall and took a member with him as he met the ground as that member was going to hit you when you weren't looking it was a sneaky move to protect you.

After the fight and after every one left you both sat in silence on the pavement, you two were exhausted and in slight pain but chose to stay like this for a while , neither wanted to talk first just sat in silence watching the sunset and the orange gradient of the sky kissing your skin , despite everything chifuyu felt his heart flutter. In that moment both of your phones received a notification in the same time so you opened it and immediately you both stood up happily.

" The new volume is out ! "

" let's go buy it !"

The people in the mange store looked at you weirdly seeing two beaten up teenagers giggling happily as they talked about nothing and everything, but chifuyu didn't care about the stares how could he focus on anyone else when you are in front of him with that sweet smile .

Mitsuya

Mitsuya is used to walking his little sisters to their kindergarten class even though it was far from the classroom building he attends but he wouldn't feel safe leaving them alone , the second his little sisters entered the class he turned his head once he heard a little girl call out his sister's name , he noticed you walking behind that little girl he assumes is your sister with a warm smile watching her interact with his sisters , you were wearing the same uniform as him so he walked to you to introduce himself, he was gentleman after all , he noticed the warm aura surrounding you, it was like a magnet attracting him the more he talked to you.

It all started as a friendship you joined the fashion club at school which mitsuya runs .

Mitsuya can't explain how he felt but the way his heart skips a beat when you compliment his work or the way his cheeks heat up when you lean closer to look at his designs , he loved watching you concentrate on your designs the way your eyes sparkle in passion and the way you hold your ground when receiving criticism, you were mature just like him .

It didn't take long for him to get attached to you , his day wasn't complete without you, he didn't even believe it was possible that he had come to hate the weekend because he couldn't see you , the way you move around the design studio, the way you insist on carrying the heavy fabrics around and the way you are sweet and kind to everyone made him love you more than he thought he was capable of .

Mitsuya came one day earlier than usual and saw you fixing a gang uniform, he asked you about it and you answered honestly, For the most part he was worried, he was worried you might get hurt but he knows you are capable of standing your ground.

It's your life and he can't pull you away from it just like you can't do to him , so you made a promise that what happens in the gang life stay there but outside of it they can do whatever they want .... in the end you were made for each other

“we wanted to convince you to teach us some of your ‘discipline’” pah-chin reminds.

chifuyu’s pet shop has services whether for washing the pets or giving a trim, this could be seen by the windows. funny when chifuyu was just trimming the fur of a regular customers pet when he spotted you with your friend.

he was distracted since he was excited to see you. he almost cut off too much fur which kazutora pointed out and scolded him for—chifuyu didn’t mind that you were with a friend, but he knew you knew where he worked, wouldn’t you have popped in to say hi? he felt sort of bitter.

normally he’d continue with work, but the friend of yours placed their arm around your shoulders and naturally, chifuyu didn’t allow that.

he passed the scissors to kazu, taking off his apron and walked out like he was shopping to begin with. “yn i didn’t think i’d see you here! and you, get your arm off them,” he said in the most polite way.

your friend moved as you spoke “i told you i was going out with a friend today didn’t i?” he let out a nervous laugh, “you did?” “i even said i’d meet you afterwards, your shops right there— hey don’t you have a shift right now?” you pointed to the pet store.

chifuyu recalled all of it. he was in a stump. he felt bad for doubting you. with that he bowed to you, “i am so sorry. i’ll see you later, dinners on me.” he gave a kiss on the cheek and ran back in.

he pretty much just felt you there on why he’d apologise but you thought you could just talk about it with him later anyways.

since that day the trust between you and chifuyu had never been stronger.
