Two Months In, What's New?

So.

April 6th will mark two months since the earthquakes, and I wanted to share what has happened or changed since then.

The search and rescue have been stopped, but there are still neighbors with untouched rubbles where search and rescue didn't reach, and possible dead bodies crushed underneath. Most people stopped waiting for their loved ones to be rescued because everything was processing so slow and help stopped coming, so instead, they started writing their numbers on walls in case if someone finds a corpse. They are talking about hundreds and hundreds of more dead people.

A flood and storm happened in my hometown and the coastroad basically got buried under water, damaging people's tents and the city overall.

Slowly, they are starting to clear out the rubbles and demolish the damaged buildings, and by the time everything is finished, there won't be anything left of the cities, because there are wreckages everywhere.

There are shortages of clean water, sanitary products, tents and many more, but nothing is changing. People are left alone.

This earthquake wasn't just an ordinary disaster, it destroyed cities, buildings, memories, lives. And the ones who survived probably wish they were dead.

I know even though some of you reblog relief effort posts for the sake of it, most of you don't actually care, not really. I've seen that. And I still feel many things about that.

I'm not gonna ask you to reblog or do anything anymore, do whatever you want, this is just me writing what's on my mind and hope for the best.

For the ones who genuinely care, thank you; for the ones who still don't give a shit, you can never know what future has in store for you.
