I am very normal about my characters.. Very! I’ll most likely drop his reference sheet a bit later, but for context I decided to experiment with my first welcome home character and give him a redesign! He’s actually an aviator, but I felt like being silly and dressing him up like he was a model <3
He deserves it! Anywhoo, I made an alternative version which you can see below, but I prefer the first.
A conceptual piece featuring the Junkyard Planet in the WIP; the Empire uses this one planet to dump all the derelict ships, starfighters, etc…but that doesn’t mean people don’t eke out a living on there too…
Looking back at the enigmatic ‘Fiber Bond’ appearance from collection ‘PHASIS’ autumn/winter 2021.

So an idea I had was that the jellyfish merfolk lived on top of their biggest predator, the sea turtles would have naturally growing coral reefs on top of it so the jellyfish species used it to their advantage. They would even take it a step further and use old turtle shell bits to make their clothes look like the respective turtle. They would have a mutual relationship with the turtle and even give them a name based on attributes. This turtle is named Aurora nebulis, this turtle is where an oc named Cyndī lives and thrives in.
This time however, they've become part of the Transformers. Consider the GoBots kind of like subgroups to the Autobots and Decepticons here.
Fitor, Cy-Kill's second-in-command, has taken the bodytype of the Decepticon Coneheads (and Thrust's VTOL wings specifically) to further support the Decepticon Renegades in their quest for energy.
God, these color schemes are kinda weird, ngl to you-
These Futuristic Floating Hotel Suites Are Completely Solar-Powered
Enter Pearlsuites, the futuristic floating hotel suites designed by Pierpaolo Lazzarini of Lazzarini Design Studio. The conceptual designs are circular pods that are reminiscent of UFOs, but, instead of hovering in the air, they float on the surface of the water. Each unit includes all the same amenities as a hotel room and is 100% solar-powered, creating enough energy for air conditioning, lighting, refrigeration, and other appliances.
Pearlsuites are designed for Jet Capsule, an Italian water mobility brand whose vision is to bring the heights of road and air travel luxury to the water, sustainably.
(via Stop Time with the Sasa Clock and The Present - Core77)
Icelandic product designer Thorunn Arnadottir must have made a pit stop in Africa on her way to London, where she received her MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art last year. Africa's influence can be seen even in her most minimal and characteristically Icelandic pieces. The strongest of these is the Sasa Clock, which "aims to bring the benefits of ancient African concepts of time to our modern lives." In African Kiswahili culture, Sasa means What is now.
The Sasa Clock asks the user to relax and slow down, to become the master of your own time lest time become the master of you. The clock actually forces you to slow your pace as there is no quick way to read it. The long beaded cord revolves around a rotating mirror face, dropping beads along the cord at five minute intervals. Orange beads are for hours and gold and silver beads signify noon and midnight. To tell the time, find the gold or silver beads, count the orange hour bead and then the minute beads hanging on the cord. You can always stop time completely by lifting the cord off the clock "and wear it proudly as a statement that you are in control of your own minutes."
