what if we stopped looking at life as something
progressing
in
stages,
stringed together by events that determine the social success/failure of our existence in the restraining brackets of
[childhood, youth, adulthood, family time and career, career and family time, retirement, death]
somewhere between which
[we must live and breathe and be happy, sad and feel a multitude of other emotions]?
when life is a gift and our value is not determined by any of
these things
what if we loked at it more of as
a journey, of a lifetime holding different opportunities
at different times?
who says the chances
of finding love must inevitably be zero after we turn 35?
who says you can't start a new hobby at 50
or find a best friend during retirement?
we all live
as though there was
a n i n v i s i b l e t i m e l i n e
stringed to our lives
and as though the clock was ticking backwards|always going against us -
but time, first and foremost, is an
opportunity,
a gift to be treasured for good purposes.

Reflections on Aching: a poem attributed to Antonio Penn
Over the past month or so the Ace Omens Discord server has been sharing inspiration in a sandbox ‘verse in which Crowley publishes love poems under the pseudonym “Antonio Penn” (Aziraphale, meanwhile, eventually reads said poetry without realizing that Crowley is the poet). Check out The Collected Works of Antonio Penn for more beautiful works (both poetry and prose)!
I tried my hand at a new, more visual poetry form. Here is the result.
Rated G, 165 words, by me (DandelionDrabbles)
There
Are times
When I look
At you, my angel
Just across the table
And I cannot help but ache
  When
Sometimes
I look in your eyes
And deep in them I see
Constellations and sunrises
Bright, beautiful, never touchable

Hey guys
Soo I'm still selling cross stitch patterns from your favorites moments in comics!
We have this baby
Tumblr media
And an update
Tumblr media
We also have these princesses ready to go
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
And this fiery boy
Tumblr media
Also, this is kinda cool. Do y'all know about concrete poetry? It's like visual poetry. There's this one poem about a grasshopper, by e. e. cummins, written in the way grasshoppers move. Do y'all know about remediation? It's when you move something from one media to another. Like these comic book panels to fabric. Anyway, I also remediated the grasshopper, for my american lit professor
Tumblr media
So the grasshopper is hopping on the fabric instead of the page. I don't know about y'all, but the literature geek in me goes apeshit for that thing.
Anyways, if you're interested hit me up!
