my current wip is a political war fantasy with sci-fi elements and it's currently in the outline stage

i would like to get better at worldbuilding and creating more expansive and fleshed out worlds like asoiaf and cosmere

i write fantasy & sci-fi but i also have a soft spot for romance, psychological thrillers, and spy stories.

one of my main goals is to write one of the most heart-wrenching, angsty corruption arcs

I've never actually had a successful NaNoWriMo...

would love to do beta reading and critiquing to help improve both of our writing!

also a sucker for any epic fantasy, dark fantasy, sci-fi, corruption or redemption arcs, stories where the villains are the main character (especially this!!!), and an ACTUAL enemies to lovers trope

D10, he sighs and then he sits down once again, he can't even make up his mind if he wants to sit down or stand up he feels so scatterbrain.

D10: I don't know what to do anymore...

D10: I always have somehow made everything worse! Why can't something normal happen???

D10 could feel the heaviness in his mind, the pressure around his head, all the stress.

He wanted to scream and just yell out all of his frustrations and pain, but he knows that it's just better to swallow up his struggles and not show his own son how much of a mess he truly was at that moment.

D10: .... I want to go home..

That's all D10 could say without sounding like he was about to breakdown.

Intro

Hello, welcome to my RP and ask blog for my Ice Corruption AU! I needed some motivation to draw for it because I’ve been feeling some serious creativity block lately.

Learn more about my AU by looking at the #ice corruption au tag on my main blog @artmelody. I’m in the process of writing a fic for this AU that I’ve been posting there. As of now, part 1 and part 2 are available. I’ll continue posting there and use this blog only for asks.

Background

To summarize, the AU is about the aftermath of Bella Noche’s defeat if things went differently. Instead of simply knocking Bella Noche out, Betty’s punch caused a magic explosion that damaged the crown. As a result, it no longer turns Simon into the Ice King, but it does corrupt him into an ice monster.

Betty is now currently in a coma from the direct exposure to dangerous magic. Princess Bubblegum and others are trying to wake her up, but so far it’s been unsuccessful.

As for Simon, he’s trying to learn how to control his new corrupted power with Marceline, Finn, and Jake’s help.

Characters

The characters you can interact with and ask questions to are Simon, Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, and Marceline.

As the main story progresses, I may add or temporarily change which characters can be available.

Open Starter: Corrupting Purity (Male, Female or Futa)

“Such sinful being humans have become.” Solana says to herself as she walks down the city streets, watching as the ones she meant to protect and guide indulged themselves in their own wants and desires. Her angelic powers hiding her wings from sight.

“Back then, they used to follow the rules of the heavens and stay pure until the time was right.” She adds, slowly shaking her head in disappointment.

Little did she realize that she was about to discover how and why humans become so sinful. And why so many of her fellow angels have taken the fall from the heavens as well.
