This how I truly feel... This is my rage, this is my anger! these words are my truth I don't want to play any fucking more! this is a response that someone got when they thought they should fuck with me... And question my loyalty to my country!!!
Oh you want to play with the big dogs do you you want to come up to me with your big words like you're the big man like you know everything like you have the plan. Did you just front to me did you just step to me did you just tell me that you want to start this with me because I will play motherfucker I will start it motherfucker so tell me now you want to start this! cuz this will not end in a day this will not end in a month this will not ending in a year this will end in a decade this will not end!! so tell me now if you want to play motherfucker because let us go now because I am ready for war, I am ready for revolution, I am ready for bloodshed, I am ready for death are you motherfucker!! are you ready? for it because I am ready for it I am done playing I am done with your fascist Republicans bullshit I am done with your intimidation tactics I am a radical liberal!! I do not play games with me! I talk to talk, I walk the walk and I will take you out with my mouth! I am not playing anymore motherfucker this is war this is my country, I am a patriot I will die for this motherfucker I will die for my Independence, I will die for democracy! can you say these things I don't think you can motherfucker I really don't think you can so don't come up to me don't come to me not today motherfucker!!!!!!!
And I felt a trillion times better after saying this. And I mean it every word. It is becoming more clear to me everyday that the time of not choosing sides is over. It's becoming abundantly clear that it's now time to choose between what is right but difficult or what is wrong and easy. Ask yourself these questions how much do you believe in democracy? How much do you believe in our civil liberties? How far are you willing to go to fight for freedom? Because that could be something as simple as getting off your ass and voting in November or could be something as hard it's giving up your life for what is right.

good morning. on the subject of how i handle inappropriate tumblr interactions, this morning i was treated to a comment on one of my posts by the worst kind of person. i'm not gonna go into detail bc it involved mask-off white supremacy that's pretty upsetting. i chose not to respond publicly bc it would give them what they want And be especially upsetting for my friends of color. so instead i scrolled through the blog to see how much hate speech there was, & then i submitted a detailed report to tumblr staff about how the blog violated both the hate speech And terrorism policies. (because..... uh.... it did.)
just blocking people in cases like this is totally fine, given that looking at their posts tends to be upsetting. however i am possessed by a desire to commit violent atrocities at any given moment, & putting together detailed hate speech reports helps soothe that urge. if i didn't do Anything, i'd be angry and fantasizing about murder all day. as is, i'm satisfied to have hopefully murdered their blog & made them feel just a little more oppressed, and now i'm gonna move on with my day.
developing this skill is essential if you have a space where you regularly interact with online strangers. i Highly encourage you guys to take a similar approach when you encounter reactionary trolls who want to be suicide baited.
now i'm gonna go have breakfast!

maybe it’s because i’m still young and naïve but i’m not gonna lie. i can’t stop thinking why can’t they just love why can’t we just love why is there hate? why? i don’t get it. can we not just love? it’s so simple. i know it’s silly and stupid but i just feel like so many problems have stemmed from the lack of love. humankind needs to discover it’s love again.

Claiming bigeneration was some type of commentary on Black trauma then blocking me, a Black fan, for saying it doesn't work as said commentary and that it wasn't your place or RTD's to do that type of commentary anyway. Cool.
This is why I say on dwtwt and I'll say it again on here:
Stop getting your understanding of antiblack racism and Black representation from RTD, Moffat and Chibnall for fucks sake and consume media made by Black creatives.
I can't explain how jarring it is from how fans talk about Rosa and Human Nature/Family of Blood how clear it is that you lot don't engage with these topics outside the show and treat these episodes and characters as some form of politic. It's embarrassing. It's even more jarring when you lot's antiblackness jumps out the minute Black fans don't put your faves on a pedestal. You can love whatever part of the show you want but please stop the grand statements on how DW cures racism and crediting RTD, Moffat and Chibnall for the work they don't have the range for and that they literally never did. There's actual Black people writing the stuff you claim to care about. Support them. Support us!

Opinion that should no longer be controversial after that CBS interview: Bernie Sanders is worse than Biden.
We should have listened when Black people warned us he's a fraud and a racist.

in response to the argument of "you're just erasing history :(((" when people take down statues of slave owners & colonizers, I think we should replace them with gravestones that more or less read "there was once a statue here of a racist guy named blah blah, we took it down because he shouldn't be put on a pedestal. because he was a racist." and then move on

Land back is literally Nazi 'blood and soil' ideology. The idea that a certain people have a unique connection to the land of a certain region and are the only rightful rulers of it. Every group of 'indigenous' people killed or forced some other group of people off of that land they're on before they took over it. Everyone is a colonizer if you go back far enough. It's totally incoherent.
Tumblr media
Posting this publicly so other people can see this too to confirm I'm not just going completely mad. Are y'all seeing this? Did someone really just roll up to my inbox and claim the Land Back movement is comparable to Nazi ideology? Am I making up this clownery?
Anyway, cite your sources. EVERY group is a bold claim. And even then, that doesn't excuse the atrocities committed unto them by the European colonizers, nor the devastation that said colonizers continue to bring upon the planet and Her people.
From an ecological standpoint, stewardship is crucial to many environments. Native humans have tended to the land, and when colonizers "settled" it, they disregarded any care that it may need and, through a mix of killing Natives off and forbidding them from lands they were on first, keept and still keep them from tending it and never bothered learning to tend it themselves. It's the major reason why the Australian wildfires were so devastating.
But we aren't looking at this from a purely ecological standpoint, are we? We're looking at it from a humanitarian perspective, too. When we show up where other people already are and violently remove them from where they've lived for countless generations, make them houseless, starve them, defile their sacred spaces, mass murder their main sources of food and fabric, forcibly convert them to our religions, separate them from their families, and punish them for speaking their own languages... is it right? Does the fact that some of these nations have warred with others in the past make this okay? Does that make this treatment justified? (I'd think this is a rhetorical question, but considering this anon showed up I feel the need to specify: the answer is OBVIOUSLY NOT.)
This is just the list that I, a white man in the US, came up with on the spot, and this is only about a few of the abuses committed by the US alone. There's a lot more to be added here. No people deserve such mistreatment and no people ever will.
The continued persecution of Native peoples around the world will not end until the rights to stewardship of lands they had stolen from them are acknowledged.
LAND BACK NOW
Edit: Whenever I come back to edit this, Tumblr deletes all my sources in that big block of atrocities, so I'm just posting them all here below. TW for racism, genocide, and...just about everything else.

One of Hello Future Me's videos on revolution brought up an event from the Philippines back in the 80s: the dictator sent a battalion to crush a supposed revolt, only for the soldiers to be met with nuns and children offering food and water. The majority of the army defected as a result
I'm going to use rwby to try hammering this abstract concept into a coherent thought, but this incident got me thinking about how nonviolent protest is theater
If a similar event were to occur in rwby, for it to be successful, the protestors would have to be the cutesy faunus types: rabbits, cats, dogs, and the like because they're non-threatening. Attacking a sweet cat faunus would be akin to attacking a child or nun, paragons of innocence and virtue respectively. Only a monster could cut them down, and no one wants to be seen as a monster
A scorpion faunus, though? Their mere existence is a threat. That tail is dangerous, a weapon available at all times. Bull faunus have horns they can use to gouge out eyes and organs. Claim they attacked and most people would agree that killing them in self-defense is justified
Because nonviolent resistance relies on public perception, people who could possibly taint the image of the movement will get left in the dark no matter how important they are. Bayard Rustin was the one who taught Dr King about civil disobedience and was an organizer for many major events, but he opted to ride to events in the trunk of people's cars so his status as an openly gay man wouldn't harm the movement's image
There would be little wonder why the White Fang would be more popular with the "scarier" faunus. Public perception is already against them, so it's not going to change much for them if they join a violent organization, but this in turn will be seen as justification for discrimination against these types of faunus. A hellish self-perpetuating cycle
These faunus would also be far more likely to experience violence at a much younger age, akin to how black children are treated as adults even if they're literally six years old
The strategy behind nonviolent protest like the ones Dr King did is to show the world the mistreatment of the innocent, but when your existence is deemed a threat, there's little hope that you'll ever get enough support to change the system. This is why bigots constantly spew the "queer groomer" and black crime "statistics": by portraying someone's freedom as a danger to the innocent, any level of violence is justifiable defense. The police aren't attacking queers, black, and brown folk discriminately, they're attacking dangerous criminals, so it's okay!!1!
Theater can't save those already condemned and to try is wasted effort
#rwde#antiblackness tw#<- in the link#Claudette Colvin refused to give up her seat a whole 9 months before Rosa Parks yet wasnt the face of the movement#good choice considering she was only 15 and shoving a teen into the racist public eye is Not Good but her pregnancy was also a major factor#idk hopefully i got the point across#somewhat related is the trend of the privileged being the biggest advocates for peaceful protest#while the ones who've endured violence - both economically and physically - are the ones who call upon violence#which almost always means violent *self defense*#the few occasions ive read where there were actual attacks its been targeted like the BLA ambushing cops#cant say i blame them considering the mcfucking everything the cops had going on#the bpp was basically destroyed by the police and fbi at this point and that was probs a major factor in their decision#and targeted violence was exactly what the white fang was doing before cinder showed up and ruined everything#literally nothing the wf does in the show is actually for faunus liberation bc its all cinder/salems orders!!#and no one is allowed to have a brain or personality or anything so no one questions why theyre suddenly switching targets#gr8 discussion abt activism here shawluna. love that you reduced the anti racism movement to mercenaries to avoid saying anything at all#ffs they even fucked up weiss's side of the convo! obvs the fumbling of blakes ball is much worse but come the fuck on#'the wf may have assassinated company board members and family friends but were teammates now so who cares!! team rwby go!!'#fucking barf

You can't separate Roosterteeth and Crwby when the shows themes and messaging is a reflection of the work environment.
Call me a conspiracy theorist nutjob or whatever, but its not lost on me team rwby is cool and all with May, until she criticised rwby and oooh no, May you are a big meany...how dare you criticise team rwby :(
And then a year later, May's voice actor calls out Roosterteeth's scummy behalf and fake progressivism and now Roosterteeth/the fndm see her as an enemy and how dare she speak badly on this capitalist corporation and oh golly jee, completely out of nowhere this slanderous video of her using slurs comes out. Roosterteeth totally didn't try to paint her as a disingenuous, disgruntled employee and have been called out before by other employees for having a "You against us" and toxic positivity work place mentality where you are shunned and put on a list of "troublemakers" if you dare try to offer any criticism /s.
Total coincidence how Rwby parrots the same "you against us", toxic positivity mentality ripe within Roosterteeth where the good guys turned bay guys are all the people that wont let Ruby just do as she pleases. Its almost as if...gasp! Crwby and Roosterteeth are the same!

I remember when I was younger people would ALWAYS make fun of me when I talked about my family because of what I called them. My family is Indian (punjabi to be exact) so I was subject to LOADS of mockery anyway. But when we did family trees in primary school I got laughed at so badly and so many people told me I had the 'wrong' names because my maternal uncle wasn't called 'mama', that was what my mother was called. When I tried to explain that that's what I called them in my culture I got told I was wrong. 8 year old me thought that my family tree was supposed to be filled with my family. What they were called to me. 8 year old me got told I was wrong. My teachers gave me sheets to fill out with 'uncle' and 'aunt' and 'grandma'. I grew up like that and when I was 10 years old we went to go and visit my mums family in Delhi. I called my mothers mum grandma. Now, when I visit I'm older, now I call my mother sister 'mausi', I call people who aren't related to me closely but are still very close 'mausi'. Because that's my culture. I am an only child but I have people I call 'didi', I have people who call me 'didi'. My older relatives call me 'beta'. I am not their daughter, but that is our culture. Now, I don't let anyone tell me what I can and can't call my family. Because they are mine. Now when people ask who's visiting, i tell them my 'chacha'.
I hate that I ever let anyone tell me my culture was wrong, that I had to leave my blood and roots behind in favour of what other people knew. But I was young and that was the reality of it. Everyday, my heart goes out to the little 8 year old girl sitting at the dining table, wishing she could change the colour of her skin and the blood in her veins.
