Disney Theory🥀
I’ve had this theory (with not too much evidences to back it up but I don’t care)
The Enchantress (Beauty and the Beast) is a child of Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve already said the I believe Maleficent would be a villain to have children of her own (just coz she cursed a human baby doesn’t mean she hates infants) also the two are Fae creatures with very similar powers and similar sense of justice (which is morally grey).
So cute to think that that Enchantress’s name being Thorn; her favourite appearance being a beautiful woman (almost identical to Aurora) and using Roses which have very pretty petals to hide the sharp thorns of the stem. She also isn’t as powerful as her mother once was, she needs to have a reason to go around cursing people instead of whenever she feels like it.
Also just a little side note; I’m not taking into account BatB live action lore; I refuse to believe the enchantress would just be chilling in the village was a begger woman with people like Gaston walking around and not do anything.
If anyone has anything to add to this theory I’d love to hear it, or anything I could use as evidence would be cool.

Star Darlings/Wish Theory
In SD, Lady Stella mentions that she found an ancient book. It's interesting that Magnifico's spellbook is similar. Do you remember my fanfic of Magnifico being part starling? 😅 (Where I said that Magnifico took forbidden knowledge to earth) Well, I partly base it on this similarity. But I love that Lady Stella's has a flower, similar to a rose (rosa, and because it is pink hehe), maybe there is something in Starland that inspired the construction of the kingdom of ROSAS?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Probably when I have the movie, on DVD or Disney+, I will have more things to support this theory, but for now…
Tumblr media
Magnifico is a starling. 😎✨

Disney theory: Wish (2023) as a potential prequel to Snowwhite and the seven Dwarfs (1937).
We dont see Amaya and Magnifico reconcile by the end of the movie, but I doubt Amaya would instantly drop Magnifico. What if, these two slowly reconcile post-movie, with Amaya even asking Asha to create a bigger space for Magnifico to live in. The two fall in love all over again.
But the expected happy ending is cut short when Asha refuses to free a genuinely redeemed Magnifico. Amaya begs on her knees, but neither Asha or Star is willing to grant a second chance. Amaya becomes so furious at Asha she starts to use forbidden magic to free her husband. Attempt after attempt fails. Amaya becomes more obsessed/paranoid to maintain eternal youth to remain forever at Magnificos side (since, you know, he lives in suspended animation inside a mirror). She succeeds at acchieving immortality, on the condition that she remains "fairest in all the land".
However, Amaya needs to provide an heir to continue her bloodline and expand her lands. She marries with a king to gain an heir. But on their wedding night, Amayas new husband drops dead from a heart attack thanks to a VERY jealous Magnifico.
Amaya simply remarries, much to Magnificos protests. Cue a montage of several Kings, dying in all sorts of over-the-top ways à la "Final Destination".
These evil dorks continue to play this game to rile each other up and keep their relationship exciting. A century later, Amaya has created an empire across all medieval Europe yet each day, she would ask her beloved Magnifico who the fairest in the land was.
All is well and good, till Amaya's most recent stepdaughter grows to be more beautiful than her....

So rewatching last episode of Tangled The Series, I was studying all the people in this last frame- and i gotta say. I found something a bit strange. But it wasn't who i saw. It's what.
Tumblr media
Here, we can see Attila, holding a cake.
In the shape of a key.
As we know, Chris Sonnenburg, was pretty rude to Varian fans online for a while. " They're aren't focusing on the right things." He kept saying. What if he meant the little things like this? And if he did, what does this mean? Could this little key mean something deeper for the show? If you look closely, it almost looks like the top of the key is in the shape of a crown. But it could just be pixelated. Will we ever know for sure? Is this key a metaphorical key for the show? Meaning that the show is a key to a new realm of possibilities? Or am I just crazy. Tell me your theories! And if anyone knows anything about this interesting easter egg, I'd love to hear about it. Also yes, I was listening to Kronos Unveiled from The Incredibles while writing this.

Inside Out 2: Thoughts and Speculations (long post)
New Emotions: Why Them and Why Now?
While the trailer has only shown 1 of the 4 new emotions, the comments got me thinking about why these specific 4 were the ones added as Riley hits puberty.
Anxiety
I've seen a lot of comments after the first trailer asking about the difference between Fear and Anxiety and based on definitions from the internet, Fear is essentially a response to a perceived threat that is present at the moment, while Anxiety is a response to "What if?" type scenarios that may or may not happen or even be realistic.
When I gave that answer in the comments, many people told me that Fear functioned as both in the original film, and that brings me to the "Why Now" part. I think Anxiety appearing after puberty is meant to represent how, when we're younger, fears that might seem irrational or unrealistic to others (adults especially), feel real to us (if a kid believes monsters exist, the fear of a monster in their closet is very much rational in their mind). But, as we get older, we start to learn the difference between things we should be afraid of (or at the very least more aware of/careful about) and what are unlikely events that our minds simply obsess over, hence the appearance of Anxiety.
As for the other 3, tho we haven't seen them, based on the nature of the emotions, in my opinion it also makes sense why they specifically only appear after puberty hits.
Embarrassment, in my own definition, is the feeling one experiences when they think they've said or done something that makes them look "uncool" or "weird/odd" (this also applies to things others say/do that makes you or themselves seem "uncool" or "weird/odd"). While this can also happen to younger kids, I feel like it's more so teens that have very rigid definitions of what counts as cool or not, as well as being real jerks to anyone not meeting these rigid definitions (kids can be really mean too, but i think they're more flexible about what they consider cool), and therefore Embarrassment is much more likely to occur strongly in teenagers.
Envy, is also an emotion that, in some form, exists in younger kids, however the biggest difference is, I think, in the focus of the emotion. When we're kids and we see someone have something we don't have, but want, our focus is on the thing (which is almost always material), rather than the person ("I want to have X too!). However, as we get older, our focus shifts to the person who has that thing (which can be material or immaterial) we don't have, but want ("Why do they have X?). Notice how, in the first instance, our reaction is a desire to possess that thing (it's less about someone else having it and about us wanting it), and in the second, it is a questioning of why someone else gets to have that (it's more about why they are the ones who have it, than about us wanting that thing). The latter is what Envy is.
Ennui is a form of dissatisfaction with the way things are, that mixes boredom and tiredness. Children often live in a world that is full of fun, adventures and magic, however the world of school gradually loses these qualities and issues can pile up on top of each other. Riley turns 13 in the film, which is around the time (at least in my country) when kids enter high-school, which is progressively less about fun, even compared to earlier forms of school. This is also the period in many teens' lives where they start questioning why they need to do things and things such as existential crises or depression can come in, both of which can lead to things feeling pointless or meaningless, which coupled with burnout from expectations, can result in Ennui.
New and Old Emotion Pairings
Aside from Joy (who is the only positive emotion in the bunch), I think the 4 other old emotions could each pair well with one of the new ones.
Fear and Anxiety
As mentioned above, the two fulfill similar functions, and at Riley's age it's probably really hard to clearly distinguish between them. So I can easily imagine one of them freaking out, which freaks the other out and so on, so forth.
Disgust and Embarrassment
More so as opposites compared to the previous two. As mentioned in the first film, Disgust's role is keeping Riley from being poisoned (both physically, but more important to this point, socially), which includes keeping her from doing things that are seen as "uncool" (like when she wanted to tell Riley's mom that she shouldn't take her to school). And what exactly did I say Embarrassment is? The feeling we get when we have said or done something "uncool". Basically, I can imagine Embarrassment tailing Disgust, preemptively worrying about the outcome of any situation where Reily might say or do such a thing (especially if socialising or romance are going to be topics in the film, which I'd assume they'd at least partially be).
Anger and Envy
If you think about it, this combo makes a lot of sense too. Anger has been shown as the one who seeks justice and fairness. Envy (as per the definition I gave), includes a feeling of unfairness about someone else having something you want to have too and if you dislike that person or simply think you'd deserve that thing more because of y, it can easily lead to feeling "rightful" Anger (at that person, at your parents, at the world or even yourself). So I can see Envy riling Anger up at different things, both material (like a new phone) or immaterial (like popularity).
Sadness and Ennui
Sadness has been depicted as someone who likes to engage in deep thoughts. Due to the nature of Ennui (as I described above), it would make sense to me if they were deeply philosophical, after all, their existence is partially borne of a questioning of one's existence and purpose. So I can just imagine the two of them engaging in deep conversations, even about hard topics like death or the expectations and hardships of adulthood, maybe even gender, sexuality, discrimination and depression.
I don't want to make plot predictions, but I think the positive to negative emotion ratio will play a part, and tho I don't necessarily think Joy will go back to how she was in the first film, I can definitely see her treating the new emotions (Anxiety in particular) similar to how she treated Sadness, at least initially. I also think that Anxiety, who I think will kind of act like the leader of the new emotions, might get antagonised, perhaps even more so than the rest (just like how Sadness was in the first one). I also think that perhaps Joy will kind of get pushed out by the other emotions, as Riley might go through some of the rougher parts of teen life. I also think that after the initial shock, Sadness in particular would be the first to open up to the new emotions (she's been shown to be empathic in the first one with Bing-Bong).

Ever since tuesday when i rewatched the "WISH" Trailer, I keep getting the idea and theory that Queen Amaya is a wish granted herself and isnt even real even though we only see her twice in the trailer but I feel like she supposed to play a bigger part, then that started to get to wonder if King Magnifico himself can grant his own wishes as well and if he can, does that mean he could've just wished for a queen that would agree on every he says and kinda not question any of the things he does, or maybe there just both evil and im probably overthinking this but Ive had this idea in the back in my head for while.

I have a theory about how Magic works in The Owl House!
So, we know that for witches, magic comes from their vile sacks, but the Boiling isles have their own magic that can be canalized with Glyphs, the Human realm either has no magic or an abismally low quantity of magic, since Luz's glyphs have only enough magic to consume themselves like when they are used normally.
But why do Witches and Demons have magic of their own? We saw Lilith using magic normally in the Human realm, so she must have brought her own magic with her.
Well, I propose that magic has a cycle, like how water does. Magic is "grown" or created by the Boiling isles, Witches consume and eat food grown by this enviroment, so the magic from the isles gets digested and stored in the vile sack. When a witch casts a spell, that magic used is "broken" and absorbed by the enviroment, which then passes to the food and so on
Tumblr media
If I had to give a guess as to why magic exists, I'd say it may be a result of the way the Titan's body decomposes, perhaps since their own blood has magic power, Magic is the equivalent of the energy or nutrients that carry the cells of the Titan's bodies, and when they die, their cells break down, the same way in the real world bodies are decomposed by microbes so the nutrients can be passed to the dirt and to the plants so the energy keeps flowing

I feel like the Hans freezing scene in Once Upon a Studio short won't be the last time we see him in that, because they are popular theories, that Hades from Hercules would unfroze him (since he canonically has fire Powers), and in the last scene, because Disney shorts ALWAYS have more or less funny scenes at the end, unfrozen Hans, probably wet from melted ice and shivering from cold Elsa put him through, looks around the empty WDAS area, during night/late evening, asking "I know I'm late, but can we... Hello? Is anyone there?", and then he maybe meets White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and watching him also being late realizes, that because of Elsa he was not in photo, and screams her name, and the short ends 🤣😭
I know it will happen, but we will see if it will be true 😆😭❤️

Random Disney Theory: Hunchback of Notre Dame
So, you know how you re-watch your favorite childhood movies sometimes, and suddenly you get wild theories?
(No? Just me? ....Okay then...)
Aaaanyway, I just watched the Hunchback of Notre Dame again (specifically, I skipped to listen to all to songs, because they're amazing, obviously). And something important occurred to me, and I can't have been the only one to notice this:
Quasimodo... doesn't look like this biological parents at all.
(Keep in mind: I know that this movie is based on a book, so maybe there are answers about that in the original source material. I've never read the book, however, and we all know Disney just takes the general concept from their source materials anyway. So I'm just focusing on what we are shown in the movie, and that's it.)
Now, I admit: it's only a defult assumption that the Romani man in the beginning with Quasimodo's mom ("Romani" being the current official, non-offensive name for the "Gypsy" poeple, according to web info) was her husband, or Quasimodo's father. It doesn't mean that was the case.
Perhaps the man was her brother, thus Quasimodo's uncle. Perhaps the two Romanis were simply friends, or temporary companions. (Personally I don't believe that, since their body language when they saw Frollo seems to imply a close relationship). Or maybe they were lovers, but due to some complicated circumstances the man was Quasimodo's stepfather, his biological father being someone else.
All of that doesn't matter, however. Because no matter how I look at it, even if Quasimodo's father was some light-skinned, green-eyed, red-haired man... that's not how genetics work. Red hair is a recessive trait: meaning, he should have taken after his dark-haired-and-skinned mother. Even if Quasimodo was only half-Romani, he doesn't share any Romani, and it's clearly not because he's deformed. He has typical European descend.
Quasimodo just isn't... a biological Romani, and it's obvious.
The answer to "how can that be?" is simple, of course: Quasimodo had to be adopted. ...Twice, if you count whatever the heck Frollo. But if you put this information in the perspective of the whole movie... doesn't that make the fate of his mother unbelievably tragic?
Picture this: a Romani woman, obviously on the run from something – probably racial persecution – adopts an infant son. A deformed infant son, of a different race than herself. What does it tell you about Quasimodo's past...?
Quasimodo was actually abandoned before, by his real birth mother. Frollo was accidentally correct about that!!
...Of course, it's possible that his birth mother just died during birth or something, but like... wouldn't then Quasimodo be adopted by one of his relatives? Or family friends? If he was loved by his biological parents, there should have been someone. The Romani clearly weren't trusted folks in that time period, so sincerely entrusting them with a baby seems extremely unlikely. It's far more plausible that Quasimodo was abandoned on a street, and picked up by the travelling couple, who took pity on the child.
Naturally, the fact that Quasimodo's mother adopted him doesn't make him any less her true son. She was a real mother to him – as proven by the fact that she died for him. She was running with such desperation, and not for a moment did she consider abandoning her baby in order to escape Judge Frollo.
And this is what makes this whole thing so tragic... Quasimodo's Romani mother loved him sincerely, with all her heart, as a mother should. There is no doubt about it. And yet, not only did Frollo kill her, then tried to kill her baby, then raised Quasimodo so cruelly... he spent the next 20 years telling Quasimodo that she was the kind of person who abandoned him. That "Gypsies are not capable of real love". He sullied her name in the most despicable way possible.
Ah, Frollo, that disgusting man... I'm so glad he was so petty he revealed the truth to Quasimodo in the end. She really deserved to be remembered for what she did for him.

Totally random Disney z-o-m-b-i-e-s theory after happily snorting my way through the trilogy again.
Seabrook was totally cut off from the rest of society after the nuclear reactor went off, deemed a hazard area due to radiation. The town was basically left to fend for itself, and was eventually forgotten about in attempts to cover up the incident. But, with a bit of extra-terrestrial assistance in the form of Aunt Angie, Seabrook worked well enough as it’s own self-sustaining Utopia ecosystem before everything went down, and no one ever actually noticed the abandonment. To them, nothing was wrong, and they simply don’t get tourism anymore due to the zombie problem.
‘Mountain College’ is still in Seabrook, just a bit further away and at a higher altitude. This also explains why there’s seemingly only one college? Those who graduate don’t actually leave town to pursue jobs elsewhere, but go right back into Seabrook’s cycle of life to start it all over again. The only other rival school present is just another offset of Seabrook, since the town was presumably pretty large before the accident if it needed so much power. Easy enough to believe there was more than one school before everything went down, since we only see the parts of Seabrook closest to the z-fence.
It’s pretty obvious Seabrook is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, and it’s also clear that most just stay in town without much interest in leaving it. To them, Seabrook is the world, and everything is perfect.
Now, IMAGINE.
Somebody (or a group of somebodies) from outside the contamination zone notice the strange lights near the coast when the aliens arrived, and come to investigate the rumors of a haunted, forgotten town ravaged by disaster over 50 years ago. Only, as they fall through the thick forest, they end up in a perfectly functioning Seabrook (exactly as over the top as in film). This is not only a shock to the outsiders (who are modern, normal human beings living in 2022), who are blatantly weirded out by everybody and everything. But also to the townspeople, who slowly realize that they were basically abandoned by society years ago, assumed dead, and now they have to live with the knowledge that their world is…well…fictional.
I feel like Addison would have a really hard time with this concept based on her personality type. But I dunno. Let me know what you guys think. Viable theory? Or just a fun AU? ;)

Disney theory number one: the hot guy meeting for Flynn never happened. They just copied Flynn’s looks, story and personality from the 2D dreamworks guys (Miguel, Tulio and Sinbad). That’s why he looks so bland and has a poorly written backstory.
See how similar they look to each other. Here’s the dreamworks guys:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s Flynn’s creepy ass:
Tumblr media
The only difference between these characters is that Flynn’s design looks even blander than the rest and he also looks older.
The ironic part is that I found the dreamworks guys super hot while Flynn is so mid to me. Probably has to do with how “perfect” they made his design so he can be as attractive as possible.

'Wish' hasn't even come out and I already have a theory, more like a headcanon 😅. And it has to do with my favorite Disney series, Star Darlings. If you know the basics of the series, you will notice the similarities between both productions.
But here it is:
Tumblr media
What if King Magnifico comes from the world of star darlings but of course from the past and not where the series takes place with the girls. But he decided to escape from that world and go to the wish world, the earth. And somehow conquer that world for him. Since in a certain way he seems like he is like someone very important where he lives. Perhaps, that's why in the present of the series they are not allowed to go to earth for a long time or only on specific missions. Also, the presence of King Magnifico in wish world could create a new species of Starlians… I don't know, I didn't think much about it but it would be interesting.

You all know this picture, right?
TWST THEORY
Tumblr media
It's the great seven statues, obviously, Amato why are tell me I can see it with my eyes- 👁👁
Yall see how there are four on the left side and three on the right side? Dose that make any sense at all??!!
Like I know some of you people look at this background when playing the game and get annoyed on how there are four on one side and three on the other! (Because that is me)
But my point is~ they each represent a dormitory! Y'all know Ramshackle was once a dormitory right?!
It's as if it was removed once the dormitory itself was no longer in use or as if not many people fit into that dormitory at all, as you see the ghosts there are only a few!
So what do you think ramshackle's statue would have been? Would it have been a villain or would it have been either a neutral character or a princess/ prince?? Or do you think it would be Mickey Mouse himself from the mirror scene when playing the game??
Or do you just think Ramshackle represents the forgotten and don't belongings people? And just dosen't have a statue for the dormitory.

New theory: the reason why Hades is like that in the Disney Hercules movie and series is because he was actually originally like his mythological self, but slowly went insane and is now maniacal, explaining why Zeus and the others still love him/don’t just get rid of him, and why he goes after Hercules and shit. Basically my theory is that the movie is just an au where Hades has no Persephone and no bitches
