I HAVEn’T tOLD Y’ALL AbOUT THE PAIN I SuFFERED ON THE DIASoMNIA MaP

So in blue is the path I was taking to get to Crowley, right? I spot this revive node (circled in red) and decide I want to go there before facing the headmaster.

In blue is the path I was already taking; I figured it would be okay to get the item right below Crowley (circled in green), then take the revive. WELL, GUESS WHAT??? Turns out the node below Crowley is a MALLEUS DRACONIA jumpscare battle 😭 (You’ll notice that Lilia, Silver, and Malleus are also battleable mini bosses, but at least THOSE three are advertised in the map so you know what you’re getting into.)

That’s right, here comes THE Malleus Draconia to beat me into the dirt (with all cosmic spells, so no elemental weaknesses to take advantage of) so close to the end and increasing my number of fallen soldiers… so when I DO reach that revive node, it isn’t even worth it (since it randomly revives a handful of cards; I do not get to pick them).

ALL OF THIS, RIGHT BEFORE CROWLEY 💀 WHO, MIND YOU, HAS 165,000 HEALTH AND HEALS LIKE 8000+ HEALTH PER TURN… and the worst part of it all was that clearing this map only earned me 20 gems for my troubles/j

If I had taken the other path around, it would have been just as bad because then I would have fought Malleus AFTER using the revive node up… And I can’t avoid the Malleus battle altogether because he’s ON AN ITEM NODE!! I want that item he’s guarding, god dammit 😭

AGAIN, FUCK THIS MAP 😤 I WILL NEVER TRUST DRACONIA AgAIN AFTER thIS TRANSGRESSION oN NMY TRUST

They are parents now. They adopted that child even before bode was out of the picture.

I know many people are hoping they have a bio child in the next game, but I honestly think they just keep adopting children as they go.

So much of the spirit of the Jedi series is breaking free from the idea of bloodlines (against the main continuity of the movies) and I feel they should keep it that way.

The found family trope is strong with this one.

That said, I do fear the worse for Cal in the next game, his connection to the darkside could potentially make him the perfect grey jedi, but if he keeps getting worse those visions he saw on Fallen Order could become a reality or worse he could have an heroic death, if he stays in the light OR a redemption death, if he keeps using the darkside, to save his family and his legacy, in a way that mirrors his own masters sacrifices (but this is probably just me after being exposed to too many "doomed by the narrative" types of media).

Also... in a less dark thought, I just realized I subconsciously made Merrin and Cal match clothes! I love them so much <3

I've seen another blog mention that the JP server changed the weekly missions from rhythm games to guest room battles. Was there an explanation given for this change?

Explained? No.

Announced? Yes.

There was an in-game announcement (I believe packaged with the 4th year anniversary quality of life updates) which included a note about changing some of the weekly missions from doing Twistunes/Rhythmics to Guest Room battles.

I guess the devs just thought the battles would be less annoying to do than the rhythm games…? It’s definitely faster, especially with the new 3x speed (another QoL update!) to battles.
