hey there! i'm also a writer and want to make a smau, but i honestly have no idea how. do you have apps/references you use to make it?
hello lovely anon!
i was in the exact position as you when i was first starting out this blog and wanting to create a smau! i had no idea what apps authors used and srsly remember looking everywhere to find something🥲 thankfully though i’ve managed to settle on the apps i currently use for now:
for the text messages i use an app called memi messages! it’s a little scuffed, at least in my case because istg the app just randomly crashes on me, but overall it’s a good app to use to create fake text messages if you don’t want any watermarks and such!
for the tweets/twitter profiles i use an app called twinote! this one is really good and one that i’ve seen a few other smau writers mention a lot. it’s also got a really helpful tool of ss the tweets you make without going through the hassle of ss and cropping it out yourself!
there’s also another app called fake all that i have yet to use, but that app allows you to create fake phone calls, incoming msgs on lockscreens, and texts msgs too but for whatsapp/messenger
i also have yet to incorporate using instagram layouts for my smau but have been testing out an app called photonote which is working well for me so far both layout and function wise! and for images/pfps i simply use pinterest to find them (only note that if you do incorporate fanart into your smau you make sure to credit the original creator/artist which pinterest is notorious for lacking. i just do a good old reverse google image and find the og post from there and make sure the artists don’t mind having their art used as long as its credited)
and finally though probably unrelated to what anon is asking for, when i make my title headers for the masterposts i use two apps; phonto and picsart! although this isn’t technically related to the actual creation of smaus (i.e messages, profiles, etc.) i decided to include it nonetheless encase some were curious! it’s kind of a whole other long-ish process i do with those apps but if anyone wants to know i’m more than willing to share that too! hell i’ll even create one for a smau writer if they so please cause i lowkey enjoy doing it🤭really just adds that extra flair to your smau! gotta support my fellow smau writers in their endeavors 🫡

Hey :) I was just wondering if you'd know of any old or new (preferably Australian) lesbian zines with artwork in them that are easily accessible online, or would you possibly have any photos already posted on your blog? I'm making a linoprinted queer feminist zine for a college art project and I'm having trouble finding other people's zines or artworks to look at for inspiration that are specifically about lesbians and butches.

There is a place in Sydney called The Women’s Library and they have a massive collection of lesbian stuff. My guess is most women’s libraries would. I know there is also one in Melbourne.
I have a couple of lgbt books that in planning on getting up here that are from Australia, and I’ve already put a few up!
Sometimes the search bar on tumblr doesn’t work very well, but I’ll give you the names of the stuff I’ve put up, so hopefully you can find a few. One of them is a zine (but I’m pretty sure it’s from New Zealand )

1.First oc ever ?
I’m gonna have to pass this one to good ol’ Leader Decrose. I REFUSE to get into the backstory of how he came about, but in this old world I never dive in anymore, he’s like ? A refuge i suppose ? A set of four characters (including my self insert) were based on cards and his was the diamond.
3.Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else ?
Odd situation but I GUESS ?? There’s a few but one I like is named Polaris and they’re like. a dying star. And their big brother figure is Cyrus, aka cc who thought the key to transitioning was dismembering yourself and using dark magic on a lifesize frakenstein doll he made.
They work in a fucked up lab but like, fucked up as in goofy as hell. They’re so silly (:
19.Introduce a character that means a lot to you and why
*SLAMS JACE IN FRONT OF YOU* I love him an insane amount.
Jace Luong was away when the apocalypse striked, lost his daughter thag he blames himself for (but he could never save her anyway), accidentally shot a guy and had to step down from his military position, more for his mental sake than anything, ended up using his best friend, and that last one sounds so bad. and it is. But it is for this Reason that makes me shake him like GRRRR I LOVE YOU. WHY DID YOU DO THAT oh yeah i’m the author loll !!
Because the point of Jace is that. He wants to help so fucking bad but he keeps Messing It Up. He is not evil and I cannot say that enough—he is very “the means justifies the ends” but that does Not mean he doesn’t feel bad for using Noah as a lab rat. When Noah came back to KILL HIM he cried because someone Came Back For Him, even if it was to kill him.
I don’t wanna take up too much space but it’s because he’s not evil just severely fucked up from losing his daughter and the life of being in a world filled with zombies that he’s trying to rush to make some sort of cure, so he can save people, so that people can live again instead of just survive, but he goes about it in a horrible way that, honestly, was probably inevitable.
He’s special to me because he’s a fuck up, but he’s genuinely really really trying. He is not a good person, though.
(also if he was a tma avatar he would be of The Lonely or Eye and that’s so silly)
31.Pick an oc and explain what their Tumblr blog would look like.
I’m going to go with RAYNE because he probably DOES use Tumblr, knowing him. His layout is green but also he’s probably using the Goth/Rave color pallet because he thinks the colors are nice and he’s a 3 am user so that dark mode comes in handy. His pfp is like, his favorite pokémon but with a ditto face.
He reblogs pokemon stuff—screenshots, fanart, memes, etc and he’s Definitely gotten into discourse abt the best game. Also he’s totally a Nightvale listener so throw in some Nightvale posts. I think he reblogs a lot of shitpost art but also just art in general.
And of course, the occasional cat photo and tumblr trademark textposts.

I WAS GONNA TALK ABOUT NOAH & CO. BUT I ALWAYS TALK ABOUT THEM so here’s the MoMOF crew, named after the lemon demon song “Mask of my Own Face”
It’s a classic high schoolers sci fi horror story, think stranger things except without mike bc i hate him (did not finish watching stranger things)
Basically, six kids, Rayn, Rowan, Alex, Ash, Zach and Winston are friends ! Yippee ! Average middle/high schoolers.
And one night, Rayn and Rowan (dating) are just hanging out. Rowan is conked the fuck out at Rayn is gaming on his DS, and then he gets a text from Alex saying “Dude, why tf are you outside it’s like 2 am ???” and Rayn is confused outta his mind.
“Wdym i’m literally at home rn.”
Alex attaches a photo, a shot looking thru the blinds of their window of what looks to be Rayn.
Rayn sends a selfie back of the Charmander he just leveled up and Rowan fast asleep.
And it Can’t be him if he just sent that photo, because the beanie he always wears was handmade by Asher himself—whos this guy ?!?
naturally, they text everyone, everyone’s yelling in a vc and was NOT asleep like they should be, and Rayn gets the FANTASTIC idea to go and see who the person is. Alex is yelling that they will personally stab Rayn if he does.
He does anyway.
and they’re too far away now for Alex to see, but they’re watching their phones and when Rayn finally approaches the other Rayn the camera flips and it is missing Half Of It’s Face and then Rayn hangs up.
And they Cannot Find Him.
So for weeks they are searching for Rayn and are scared out of their wits about Why there were Two and they told the police, but they don’t believe them all too much.
But Rowan finds him one night, at the edge of the forest. Half of his face looks tk have been torn away and his hat and coat is gone and he looks run ragged but oh. Oh no.
That’s the real Rayn.
And it turns out, the Rayn they’d been staying with recently was a clone.
And he’s babbling about something, saying they “Can’t trust Winston”
And at the same time, Rowan gets a call. And Zach sounds like he’s running for his life, because Winston cannot talk, let alone sing, and Zach heard them whispering the lyrics to a song he doesn’t know, and ran for it.
So, while they found Rayn, they now don’t know where the real Winston is. And it’s kinda all about not trusting each other but also wanting to stay together because What If Someone Else Gets Taken, and they can’t trust anyone at All because they won’t believe them, and they could be more clones.
Other stuff happens; Ash is going kinda insane, Alex, as the eldest, feels like they have to be the parent of the group because god they’re falling apart and they can’t stand to see it, Zach doesn’t know if the things he’s catching on camera are real or not, and there’s also an almost murder and also arson !! Both by the kids (:
It’s a fun world i like to play around with because the kids dynamics are all super fun <3

This is a callout post for my online stalker who’s been stealing my art, characters, and at one point impersonated me.
I’m not expecting this to go anywhere or get popular. I just want to be left alone. I got pushed to this point and I’m exhausted.

This post is long and it has some stuff that not everyone will be comfy seeing/reading

Edit 6/9/2022 -- I have gotten into contact with Luna and they have agreed to stop doing what they have done. Please do not harrass them, that will only make things worse and both me and Luna don’t want that.
Back in 2020 I deiced that I wanted to cut ties with this person. Me and them have had a history of on and off drama. Them bringing me into pointless stress, and in general not being healthy for my mental state. In hindsight I should’ve waited intel I was calmer when I wrote this message but I can’t change what I said now.
After this they decided to post videos digging up old screenshots from my time on google hangouts. Though all those old videos are private now.
If after this they decide to put them all back up I would just like to say. I’ve already apologized to them privately. I know what I did and said was wrong and I greatly regret it to this day. I wasn’t a good person back then. I’m still not one now but I’m growing and learning.
Sometimes after those videos were put up and all that drama started up me and my friend Artist who was smol in this conversation talked it out with them. Midnight was the user my stalker went at that time.
As you can see, they agreed to leave me alone after this. Everything was done. Everyone got their apologizes and we talked everything out. I thought it was over with. I was wrong. So so wrong.
2021, I see this. Mind you. Their discord was on my blocked list so I could see their username and profile picture
It didn’t stop there though. When I changed my username in 2022 from Caninewaterway to SynthCoyote this happened
They wouldn’t leave me alone even though they told me they would. I was basically lied to my face. That’s what it feels like at least.
Later on I even did this.
I wasn’t even trying to think about them. I wasn’t trying to look at their socials or if they were stealing my art. So when they claim I’m stalking them I wasn’t. I was actively trying to not even think about them cause it was stressing me out.
What drove me back into thinking about them was when I got this twitter dm

As you can see, some stuff is word for word off of mine. I would try and prove that I was the one who wrote this first but I honestly don’t know when theirs was created as like I said before. I wasn’t trying to even think about them, let alone seek out information about them.
But it didn’t stop there. Not only were they impersonating me, but they was stealing me art. Here’s screenshots of their Instagram.
here’s the most recent of their instagram of their pfp being updated when I updated some art on my info carrd. I’ll show both the original and the screenshot.
I only uploaded that art to my carrd and Lux’s toyhouse profiles. No where else on my socials. So they could’ve only gotten it from those two places.
But let’s go back a bit to a video they uploaded.
Here’s the description

That’s awfully strange since they look strikingly similar to my own sona named Synth
And wouldn’t you know. Synth was created even before I posted them to my toyhouse.
Say, that top left picture looks awfully familiar. I also know where that other picture came from as well
And that one that I said my crush at the time posted to their Instagram story was only posted there. No where else online except discord and I know for sure they’re not in the discord servers I posted it in so they could’ve only gotten it from my crush at the time story. Now that I’m thinking about it it’s really weird to not only be looking at my socials when you said you’d stop bothering me but also looking at the story of someone they formally would trace art of.

So now that we all know that they have a history of tracing and stealing others art. They’re still doing it to this day.
This post is already getting long but to try and wrap it up we’re getting to the part where I got pushed to making this call out. Me and one other person from their past tried contacting them about the art stealing. But as you can see. We got no reply. The other person was blocked right after Luna left the group chat. Mind you, this was the only way as I’m blocked on all socials and I have them blocked on all socials so even if I unblocked them to contact them I can’t.
After this they posted this to their story. This is what drove me to making this callout post
I’m not stalking them. I’m not harassing them. I haven’t done anything but see that they have been stealing my artwork. Not only have they stolen my characters but they have stolen other people’s characters.
I’d like to take this moment to apologize to everyone who had their characters stolen from my stalker all because I drew them. I’m so sorry. I didn’t want this to happen or for you guys to get roped in.
As for my Stalker Luna. Leave me alone. Stop stealing my art, my characters, stop stealing other people’s characters and please, for once. Create your own things. I’m going to apologize publicly to you. I’m sorry for what I did to you in the past, I’ve explain why I did it and I still hate myself for the things I said to you. You didn’t deserve that. But please leave me alone. Leave Artist alone. You’ve been stalking them for years and stealing their art work. I don’t want that to start all over again if you stop stealing my work.
I wished the best for you when I cut you off that first time, and I’m going to say this again. I wish you the best, please get better.
