German opening of Dragon Ball (Classic) "The Secret of the Dragon Balls" - Full Version
Translated Lyrics:
Find your seven Dragon Balls
And your wishes come true
Do you know the secret of the Dragon Balls?
In them is the magic power
Son Goku, you are our hero
You bravely fight your way through the world
Dangers lurk everywhere
Because everyone is looking for the Dragon Balls
Find your seven Dragon Balls
And your wishes come true
Do you know the secret of the Dragon Balls?
In them is the magic power
Son Goku, you are our hero
You bravely fight your way through the world
Dangers lurk everywhere
Because everyone is looking for the Dragon Balls
Find your seven Dragon Balls
And your wishes come true
Do you know the secret of the Dragon Balls?
In them is the magic power
Dragon Balls
Find your seven Dragon Balls
And your wishes come true
Do you know the secret of the Dragon Balls?
In them is the magic power
Son Goku, you are our hero
You bravely fight your way through the world
Dangers lurk everywhere
Because everyone is looking for the Dragon Balls

Akira Toriyama’s epic Dragonball series took up such a major part of both my teen years and my art! I will never forget all the afternoons after school, rushing to see Toonami play their block of DBZ episodes, the awe of finally seeing the newest episode, the re-airing of the original Dragonball series, and later on, me doing my best to draw my own epic takes on Goku and the gang!
-Farewell Sensei Toriyama, you will be missed.

ROUND THREE
GOKU from DRAGON BALL vs ISHMAEL from MOBY DICK
PROPAGANDA
GOKU - “he used to fish with his tail when he still had it and also he caught some big fucking fish”
ISHMAEL - “As you may know, Moby Dick starts with the line "call me Ishmael”. Then, Ishmael immediately proceeds to tell us that he is depressed and yearns for the sea (I am paraphrasing as it is very long and detailed). He is probably gay (oh no wait I forgot to say this in my Queequeg submission but they get married! In canon! In something written in 1851! This is more clear than whatever is happening in the Epic of Gilgamesh and that was canon homosexuality!) About half the book is taken up by Ishmael’s lectures to the reader about whale anatomy and within those lectures, whales are constantly referred to as fish therefore this does indeed count as fishing. Also, he is the only one to survive the wreckage of the Pequod and that is because of Queequeg.“

豆豉鯪魚
I've been working on this comic for a little while, decided to finally call it done!
For context, they're eating fried dace with salted black beans, a salty canned food consisting of fish & fermented black beans in oil. Most of the salt is in the black beans, making them yummy but indulgent. It's a cheap & easy sort of Chinese comfort food.

Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z
He's determined, heroic, courageous and kind.
He's been through so much suffering and still manages to get back up.
That's why he's my favourite character.
Honestly, no words can describe how heartbroken I am today.
There is no denying the fact that one man, one SO IMPORTANT to not just Anime/Manga but Pop Culture as a whole.
His style is so fun, unique, full of life and has made many memorable stories and characters.
No person in this world could be like, be so impactful and influential to the masses. Inspired many others who wanted to follow in his footsteps.
And now he's gone... out of the blue.
Some of you may brush this off, some of you might not understand. Some of you right now thinks he's overrated.
But we don't get to pretend his skill and talent came out of nowhere, we don't get to pretend he's just some random guy.
He is a person that lives by working hard, doing his job, and is having a hell of a good time doing it.
He may be gone, but his legacy will be forever remembered by all of us.
Thank You Akira Toriyama.
