Red Robin was exhausted. He had spent the last month trying to track down the source or a new drug on the market called "Spectral" and was growing more and more frustrated with every dead end he hit.

This drug had a similar look and chemical components to the Lazarus Pit and even had the ability to revive the dead when used in large enough doses. The difference between the two was that the Pit sent people into a rage when revived while this drug left the revived calm and overly compliant. Terrifying.

The drug, when used on living people, made them feel safe and comforted. Often making the world seem like a happier friendlier place. Needless to say it exploded on the Gotham black market and the bats have been seeing it everywhere. Jasons reaction to just being in its presence was definitely concerning as well.

He finally manages to find the main supplier and places a tracker on them. He follows them down highways and interstates on his motorcycle, happy to be nearing the end of this case. Should he be on a motorcycle after not sleeping for 72 hours? No. Is he doing it anyway? He speeds up, letting the roar of the engine answer for him.

RR follows the man through a suspicious green portal before finding himself in the wooded outskirts of a city. He proceeded to track the man around the City of Amity Park for a few hours, sticking to the shadows and whatever hiding places he could find until he sees the man meet up with a glowing meta teen on the roof of a nearby building. It was only after the supplier began drawing very green and glowy blood from the meta that Tim realized that wasn't a meta at all.

Tim was not at all prepared to have run in to a confused undead teenager being tricked into supplying his blood for drug trade, or the multiple illigal government scandals, or the evil supervillian mayor being undead, or the portal to freaking LAZARUS in someone's basement, or Ras assassins having been seen in the area, or the undead repeatedly attacking the world of the living throught the day and night or the mad scientists who were clearly genocidal maniacs spouting hate speech and committing acts of terrorism in broad daylight while no one did anything about them or...or anything about this city really.

Phantom, as he's come to know the spirit as, comforts him saying this was actually pretty peaceful for Amity. When asked why the Justice League hadn't been called Phantom just looked at him oddly and asked who the Justice League were.

Tim needed more coffee. No amount of cute ghosts was going to make this situation ok.
