OKAY BUT WHY DOES RAI LOOK AMUSED. what’s even better is the fact that he started with ‘and you are—‘ meaning that he read Frankenstein’s mind when he thought about him not having changed at all
Tumblr media
it’s the fact that Frankenstein had been gone for two days. TWO DAYS. and all Rai says is Ramen.
like I’m sure Rai very well knows that there’s no way Frankenstein would let himself get caught so this is his way of telling Frankie ‘I know you’re kidnapped right now and all but i need you to come back.’
LIKE AKDHJSDA EVERYONE’S WORRIED ABOUT FRANKENSTEIN AND THEN THERE’S RAI 💀

As your boyfriend sat down on the couch next to you, you couldn’t help but notice that he cracked open yet another water bottle and brought it to his plush pink lips. “You’re still thirsty?” you perused, watching your boyfriend take long, deliberate gulps, eyeing the way he gripped one of his thick thighs, his fingers squeezing into it through his thin gray sweatpants.
“What do you mean, baby?” San questioned aloofly, wiping the liquid away from his mouth and letting out a small groan, his legs tensing up.
You tilted your head to the side, looking him in the eye. “That’s the third water bottle you’ve drank and it’s only been a couple hours. Aren’t you full?”
San’s eyes dilated in real time, licking at his bottom lip, before slowly sitting back against the couch, automatically spreading his arms along the top to appear as casual as he could. “I’m pretty full now, yeah.”
Not thinking much of it, you turned back to the TV screen, your attention staying on the show you were watching until you began to hear small whimpers coming from beside you, concerning you enough to break concentration.
San was sitting with his legs pressed together and his back slightly arched off of the couch, both hands on his upper thighs and clutching them. He felt your gaze and returned it, his cheeks rosy pink and his brown eyes glossy.
“What’s wrong, Sannie?” you asked softly, biting at your bottom lip, feeling your heart begin to pick up the pace.
“N-nothing, baby,” your boyfriend replied, weakly shaking his head, strands of his parted golden hair beginning to stick to his forehead. He squirmed around a bit, gritting his teeth. His tummy felt so full, like he was about to burst, and it didn’t help that you were staring him down. He swore he was about to fall apart in front of you. Make a mess all over himself and the couch. It made his cock twitch.
“You have to pee, don’t you, Sannie?” You turned your body to face him completely, lifting one of your feet up and resting it on San’s knee, slowly sliding it up along his thigh, feeling his muscles tighten up underneath the sole of your foot. “You’re being a naughty boy and holding it on purpose, huh?”
“N-no, I swear, I’m a good boy,” he whined, giving you the biggest puppy dog eyes you’ve ever seen. “I’m just–aahhh…!” San couldn’t think all of a sudden. All he could focus on was the weight of your foot pushing down onto his small soft cock and balls, sending a zap of pleasurable pain into his lower abdomen. He had to go. Bad.
“Oh, you’re a good boy, huh? Then why are you getting so wet for Mommy already?” you challenged, sliding your foot up and over his cock, covering it completely due to how petite it was. Pre-cum was already staining the material of his pants, making you beam with pride.
San let out a small whimper, unable to keep himself from lowering his sweatpants and revealing his twitching cock, his lower abdomen visibly distended. “I cant help it, Mommy. Please take care of me.”
“I’ll take care of you, Sannie. Don’t worry your pretty little head about a thing,” you reassured him softly, despite the pressure you were putting on his slick cock, the pad of your foot moving upwards and pressing downwards into his pelvis.
“Oh my god,” San moaned, tossing his head back into the couch, pressing his own hand against his tummy when you went back to stimulating his cock. He reached over for your hand, your fingers interlocking, looking up at you past his wispy eyelashes. “I-i’m gonna make a mess, Mommy. Let me make a mess for you.”
“Oh, yeah? How bad do you want it?”
“I wanna pee so bad, Mommy. Please step harder,” your boyfriend begged, a bit of drool slipping past his lips, squirming more and more underneath you, his breath growing ragged. He was so close to feeling complete and utter bliss that he lifted his hips up from the couch, continuously rolling them into the bottom of your foot.
Stepping down harder and moving your foot back and forth like you were trying to get something off of it, you noticed San’s moans and whimpers starting to crescendo, a look of bliss in his watery eyes. You reached forward and lifted up the hem of his t-shirt, stuffing it into his mouth to watch his abs grow taut against his sweat-covered skin as he inhaled and exhaled deeply, the muscles in his upper arms straining the closer he got to relieving himself.
“Isch schpilling out, Mommy…!” San cried out in a muffled voice, biting down into his t-shirt, his back arching painfully as a fountain of almost clear liquid began to shoot out of his reddened cock, slowly covering himself in his own release. Once the heavy flow turned into a slow trickle and eventually stopped, he collapsed down and sunk into the couch, panting heavily, his sweatpants now dark gray and heavy with his piss.
“My messy boy,” you cooed affectionately, squeezing his hand and rubbing your thumb across his knuckles. When he looked over at you with a clouded gaze and flushed cheeks, you leaned in to press a gentle kiss onto his lips. “Let’s get you in the shower.”

Joel had been lying down on the couch, resting his eyes in his home in Jackson when Ellie stormed in–so much for trying to relax. He hadn’t even bothered taking his boots off when he came home, and instead threw his legs up on the couch with his arm resting behind his head and the other draped across his stomach.
Ellie slammed the door behind her, stomping her feet as she sat down in the recliner across from him. Joel opened one eye, and she stared at him with a frown on her face.
“Your face is gonna stay like that.” Joel remarked smartly before closing his eye again.
“What. The. Fuck.” It came out more like a statement than a question from Ellie, but it was just as venomous as she spit the words out. “You said you were gonna go, and I gotta find out from Tommy that you’re not going?”
Tommy and Maria had a thing in Jackson where they gathered the town in celebration for their own made-up event. It wasn’t necessarily because of any holiday, but rather because the couple insisted that it helped preserve the tight-knit feeling of the community and made the townsfolk feel normal. It gave them something to look forward to every now and again, and what was the harm in taking a day and having fun? Ever since she settled in, Ellie thought about what it would be like to take part in the town’s tradition and walk the streets of Jackson with you and Joel, and how she’d play different games with other teens she’d met–but that all changed when you moved into your own, smaller house only weeks after arriving.
“I’ve got things to do. I don’t have time to sit around and hold hands with the whole town.” Joel told her.
“C’mon, dude,” Ellie begged, “You don’t even have to stay the whole time, I just–”
“I said no.” Joel’s voice was stern. He sat up, reaching for the mug of coffee that sat on the small table and took a sip. It tasted cold and bitter, but it was something.
“Fine, whatever.” Ellie huffed, throwing her hands up in defeat. “Well.. how are you doing?”
Joel raised an eyebrow, sighing loudly, “I’m fine.” It wasn’t necessarily a lie, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth.
“Okay, great.” Ellie rolled her eyes as she walked past him and toward the door.
“Where’re you goin’? You just got here.”
Ellie rolled her eyes. “Yeah, well, I came to see how you were, now I’m gonna go and tell her that you’re doing fine, and that you’re not coming tonight.”
“Tell who?”
“You know.” Ellie noticed the change in Joel’s demeanor as he put two and two together, though she’s surprised it took him that long to realize it. He became more tense and sat up a little straighter, and she swore she could see fire dancing behind his eyes. But whether that fire was from rage or some remnants of passion for you, Ellie wasn’t sure.
Joel furrowed his brows in confusion as he tossed the contents of the mug down the sink, “Since when does she ask about me?”
“She always does.” Ellie’s voice is soft as her gaze focuses on her fingertips and the sudden transition from her fiery behavior just moments ago catches Joel off-guard. She feels a little like a snitch, like she’d just revealed something personal about you, but your breakup was no secret– and neither was the fact that you still cared about Joel’s wellbeing. But Joel’s confusion about that fact angers her, “Y’know, Joel, just because you stopped loving her, doesn’t mean she stopped giving a shit about you.”
“I-I didn’t—,” Joel hung his head low, putting his hands in the pockets of his jeans. “I never stopped loving her, I—”
“Doesn’t seem that way to me.” Ellie pressed her lips together, shaking her head as she began to walk towards the door to leave. “I just don’t understand why you guys separated. If she cares about you, and you obviously still love her, why can’t things just be the way they were?”
Joel’s heart aches, to say the least. He wants nothing more than to just run over to your house and tell you how sorry he is for being an ass for all these months–but he doesn’t. He doesn’t know where the fuck to start. Hell, he doesn’t even know if you’d take him back, so instead, he stays here, thinking of what to do.
“I-It’s not that simple,” he says as she stands on the porch of the house. “I don’t expect you to understand, it’s just sometimes things don’t work out the way you think.”
Ellie sighs, not satisfied with his answer. “Okay, okay. Whatever, I guess.”
“E-Ellie,” Joel called out as she hopped down the porch. She turns to face him, and he knows that what he’s about to say is probably a bad idea–the worst idea he’s had in a long time, but he still can’t stop himself from saying it, “I’ll be there… in town.. for whatever it is...”
Ellie grins and disappears into the streets, excited. “Meet me at the dining hall at 7:30!”
“Why so specific? Why can’t you just stay and we’ll go together?”
Grumbling loudly and dramatically, Ellie’s eyes widen at the fact that Joel can’t just follow simple directions. “Jesus fucking Christ, Joel, just do it!”
She doesn’t give him any room to respond or ruin her plan before she’s running down the streets of Jackson.
•••
You’re in a rush to get ready, trying to look at least somewhat put together after looking disheveled from all the late night patrols. Nobody forced you to take as many shifts as you did, nor did they force you to do them all late at night into the early morning. It didn’t help either that after a shift, sleeping problems plagued you, making it hard to get any kind of rest. Normally you wouldn’t care about how you looked, but today was different. Everyone would be in town, having a good time, and even if you weren’t enjoying yourself, you could at least fake it.
Ellie is already at the dining hall, sitting at a nearby counter by the time you’re running to get there on time. After relieving the volunteer before you, you begin your shift. There wasn’t much to it–simply serving drinks to the families and townsfolk in line, while they got their food in another one. It was a mundane two and a half hours of pouring, passing drinks, and cleaning spills, but it beat having to do another patrol shift.
“Hi, what can I get for y–” as you look up from wiping down your area, Joel is standing in front of you. He’s freshly showered, you can tell. His hair is still kind of wet, and brushed back–clearly ditching the unkempt look he’d always donned. It’d been a while since you’d seen him; sure you’d pass him by during shift rotations, but other than that, it seemed that you both subconsciously avoided places the other would be at. His eyes looked tired, and somehow within a year, he seemed to have grown grayer–not that you minded. “Sorry, hi Joel, what can I get you?”
“Oh, uh, nothin’, I-Ellie..” Joel mentally cursed himself for tripping over his words like an idiot, as if he’s never talked to you before. He’d practiced a million times what to say to you in the mirror, in the event that he had to talk to you. Not once did he take into consideration the feeling of his heart being tugged out of his chest. In all honesty, he was fine—until you looked up at him, and your big, bright eyes ended him right then and there, rendering him unable to form a coherent sentence. “I-I can’t find her.. she told me to meet her here at 7:30.”
“Funny… she said she’d wait for me ‘til after my shift ended at 7:30 too…” You crossed your arms, suspicions rising about Ellie’s plans. What she got out of meeting you and Joel at the same time, you had no idea.
Another volunteer relieved you, taking your place. As you walked outside, Joel followed and you looked around Jackson for Ellie, who was still nowhere in sight. You’d even checked the stables, which was where she liked to spend time alone, but all you found was Shimmer—her favorite horse.
Deciding that it was clearly Ellie’s intention to remain gone, you felt satisfied with your searching efforts. “She’ll come find us later, watch.” Then an awkward silence filled the air between you and Joel as you made your way around town.
“Do you, maybe, uh..” Joel rubbed the back of his neck, trying to fill the silence and thinking of something to say. “…wanna have a drink or somethin’? I know how you feel about crowds, so.. maybe we could go back home and just.. talk?”
Home?
You sighed, trying to play it off cool. “I-I don’t know..”
And that was the truth–you didn’t know. You didn’t know if accepting his offer would cause further damage to you, or actually heal what had been broken. It’d been nearly a year already, surely two adults–practically co-parents– could handle a night of friendly drinks and conversation right?
“Please.” Joel’s eyes pleaded with you, softening as they met yours, and suddenly you couldn’t walk away. As much as you wanted to say no and go home, you don’t do that— you do the opposite.
Before you can even process what’s going on, you’re sitting nervously on the couch, across from Joel, beer in hand. Nothing has changed since you left, all of the paintings and photos still hung and placed perfectly in the same spots as before–except one. It was a small, Polaroid photo that stood against a lamp, one you’d never seen before. Joel was clearly the photographer, as his arm stretched out as he tried to get you and Ellie in the frame as you both slept. A small, devilish grin evident on Joel’s lips, while you and Ellie snored and slept as if you hadn’t slept in weeks–a moment that was forever etched into the ink of the photo. You couldn’t make out where the picture had been taken, but it brought a wide smile to your face, nonetheless.
Joel sat there, watching you closely as you examined the Polaroid. He hadn’t realized how much he missed your smile until he saw yours in person tonight. When your attention turned to Joel again, he quickly averted his gaze, suddenly interested in the shape and color of his beer bottle. One conversation led to another, which led to another, and before he knew it, you both were on your fourth beers of the night. He’d forgotten how easy it was to talk to you, how much you both laughed when you were together, talking about the stupidest things, dreaming up dreams. For a moment, Joel felt normal, like everything was okay. And if he was being honest with himself, he hadn’t remembered the last time he felt like that.
As the conversation died down, Joel spoke. “I think we’ve been set up.”
“What gave it away? The fact Ellie said she’d meet us both at the same time or that the moon’s high in the sky and she’s still not here?” You laughed lightly.
“If I’m being honest, I saw it coming,” he admitted. “She’d been reminiscing, asking why things couldn’t go back to the way they were.”
“Yeah, that sounds like her,” you agree. “She asks me the same thing all the time.”
“And what do you tell her?”
“The truth,” you shrug as if it’s a no-brainer. “Sometimes things just don’t work out between people and they fall out of love. I mean, I didn’t, but–” Your eyes widen at the confession that just slipped out of your mouth, blaming it on the alcohol, but you’re just looking for an excuse to get you out of the mess. You meant exactly what you said, but just hadn’t meant for it to slip out. You sighed deeply, before getting up and thanking Joel for the company. “It’s getting late, I should go now.”
“Wait!” Joel all but jumped toward the door as you turned the knob to leave. He had you cornered now, with nowhere to go. With one arm above you, keeping the door shut, he looked down at your soft eyes, “Do you really think I fell out of love with you?”
Your eyes met the ground, voice getting stuck in your throat as the emotions from the last year washed through your head and prevented you from speaking. Maybe it was the combination of intense feelings and alcohol that did it, but you couldn’t stop the tears from flowing down your cheeks. Joel lifted your chin slightly, so that your eyes met his once more, and it pained him to see the hurt in them. “I miss you.” Your words are barely above a whisper as you choke them out.
He uses both thumbs to wipe your tears away, cupping your face, “You’re so beautiful.” Joel leans down slowly, waiting for any sign of opposition, and when he finds none, he takes the opportunity to place a warm kiss on your lips–the first one in a year. It’s all familiar, the way his lips are soft, but his kiss is rough, taking you in like he needs you to stay hydrated. The way that your hands move to his neck and pull him down further into the kiss is all the confirmation he needs to keep going.
You pull away first, desperate for more, but even more desperate for comfort, “Bedroom.”
Joel nods his head ferociously, leading you quickly down the hall, slamming the door closed with his foot, and laying you down softly. He’s painfully slow at taking his clothes off, and even slower at slipping off yours, unbuttoning your shirt and unclasping your bra. It’s like Joel has every weak spot of your body down to memory when he kisses you. His mouth moves teasingly slow, beginning at your neck, sucking and biting the soft skin to leave a mark or two. God, how he loved seeing you around Jackson with a hickey peeking out of your shirt. He worked his way down your chest, circling his tongue around your nipples and blowing air on them to make you more sensitive. That, combined with the sensation of the rough pads of his thumbs over your nipples send waves throughout your body. Joel smirked as he watched you shiver with pleasure from that alone, because he knew that would happen–he had the beautiful noises you made from the last time he did it etched into his memory.
You calm down as he kisses every part of your abdomen, even the ticklish spots. But as soon as you think you’re capable of handling whatever Joel throws at you, you let out a loud, whiny moan as he rubs your clit through the fabric of your panties. “God, Joel, please.”
His touch on your clit is unwavering, and he can feel your wetness begin to grow. “‘Please’ what?” He says, “C’mon, baby, tell me what you want and it's yours.”
“I-fuck-I… I need you…inside…” You breathe heavily, your brain barely able to function that it’s almost pathetic–he’s barely touched you, and you’re a fucking mess.
Joel chuckles, giving you a quick and sloppy kiss on the lips, “Not yet, baby, I’m not done with you yet.”
You’re about to whine, but he pulls your panties off, spreading your thighs forcefully and gripping onto them tightly. His head disappears between your legs and your back automatically arches off the bed as soon as his tongue licks a stripe between your folds. Joel groans at the taste of you, totally intoxicated by it–he made a mental note of never wanting to go this long without your taste on his tongue ever again. You grip the sheets with one hand, and grab a fistful of his hair with the other, eliciting a guttural noise from deep within Joel’s throat, and it only spurs him on more.
He can tell that you’re holding back as you squirm while he’s facedown into you, his tongue exploring every inch of you. “Be loud for me, baby, it’s okay, I know you’ve got it in you. I wanna hear all those pretty noises.”
It’d been a long time–too long, actually–since the last time you were in this position with Joel, and even then, you’d felt a little embarrassed about being loud, but Joel’s words of encouragement, that he wanted to hear you, gave you the extra push you needed. Becoming more comfortable, you’re able to let loose, free of thinking, and moan, and whine, and whimper as much and as loud as you need to. Joel could feel you relax more, and he was glad you were able to do so… But fuck… he just about came all over the place from all the pretty noises that came out of you. The idea of recording them for later crossed his mind, and he made sure to remember to bring it up to you later.
The sudden pressure of two of his thick fingers pushing into you while he sucked on your clit makes you gasp loudly, and he shudders pleasantly from the reverberation.
“O-oh my god, Joel-fuck-I-” You can’t even form a proper sentence, only a string of words manages to come out of your mouth.
“It’s okay, baby, go ahead, let go,” he says softly. “Cum on my fingers for me.” He watches as the pleasure snaps in you, feeling you paint his fingers with your sweet release. He groans at the sight before him–your chest heaving up and down as you try and catch your breath, and your cum dripping out of your pussy and glistening on his fingers is enough to send him into overload. If only he still had that fucking Polaroid camera…
But he uses your cum as lube, coating his painfully hard cock in it as he lines himself up at your entrance. Joel barely has the tip in when your toes curl and the most erotic moan he’s ever heard escapes your lips. God, how did you ever go this long without him? As much as you knew that Joel was a fucking god in bed, it was like your body had forgotten what it felt like to be completely at his mercy. He slides in slowly, letting you adjust to his size again, knowing that it had been just as long for you as it had been for him, but his cock is so thick and big that he’s only halfway in and you already feel so full. “‘So, so big, Joel… I-”
Joel chuckled as he pushed deeper, “You’ve fit all of me before, and I know you can do it again… Can’t you?”
You nod eagerly, though you weren’t really sure. Before your separation, you and Joel would fuck like there was no tomorrow, meaning that you’d grown used to him filling you up… Now, it’s been a year without him and suddenly it feels like the very first time.
“There ya go, see,” Joel says as he bottoms out. “Doin’ such a good job.”
His thrusts are slow at first as he finds the right rhythm, letting the feeling of him settle into you. Then he gradually picks up the pace, and you move your hips in motion, meeting his thrusts and feeling him deeper inside you. He has a monster grip on you that will no doubt leave sore bruises tomorrow, but right now, all you can think about is how fucking good it feels every time his cock slams all the way into you. You pull him down closer to you for a messy, open-mouthed kiss. You’re completely lost, completely owned by Joel at this point. You can feel yourself clench around him as he continues to thrust deeper and deeper. He lets out a deep groan as it happens, “F-fuck… not… not gonna last… y-you can’t…fuck.”
Joel starts to pull himself out, but you lock your hips around him, pulling him in all the way again. He gives you a worried, confused look, “But?”
“I-it’s–it’s okay… Inside… please.”
He kisses you passionately once more, as his thrusts become more erratic, his head buried in your neck as you feel him twitch and with a final thrust, he cums inside you, filling you beyond capacity with a shaky breath. You pull him against you, skin against skin, as you both come down from your high. Your legs wrap around him, and he never pulls out as you lay in bed together, feeling every inch of each other as close as you possibly can.
He brushes your face gently with his hand, peppering your face with soft kisses, “I never stopped loving you.”
You draped your arm around his neck, softly running your fingers through his hair as his eyes rolled and his skin shivered from the sweet, innocent touch. “And never stop, please.” You whispered.
Joel looked lovingly into your eyes, and he couldn’t remember how he ever got through the year without you, but it was then he vowed to not spend another day like that again. “Never.”

Hello! So I saw TMNT 2007!Raph x GN!Reader: The Confession, and it got my brain pumping, Could I request an Angsty Unrequited 2007!Leo x GN!Reader, where Leo has a crush on Reader, that he didn't acknowledge or think too much about, and he only realises the full depth of it when he left (absence makes the heart grow stronger) but does comes to accepts it as a truth and plans to grow closer to them and pursue his feelings when he returns, only to find out Reader is dating Raph, they're a perfect pair and are so happy together, and Leo isn't sure how to respond but it sure hurts.
This can be as Long or short/formatted as you like, sorry if this is extremely wordy, thanks for reading!
Omg omg I’m so excited for this one!?!?!? btw, this is over 4,000 words long, so I hope this isn't too much! this was a great request and I wrote the entire thing just now lol
I hope you enjoy!

________________________________________-
It started small, very small
Because you’re just a person to him in the beginning, a sorry sucker that got dragged into the depths of a New York City robbery in a small convenience store.
You get out (kind of,) but it lands you being chased by the big guy who decided to point the gun at the cashier who noticed you left when he ordered everyone to stay put
But you’d rather run than get shot, so, there’s that.
Thus, you unknowingly run into an unknown savior of the city you resided in, and though you thought you’d die a sorry death in the back alley of a street you couldn’t recall the name of, you’re saved.
You thank your savior, to which, he with a slightly raspy yet calm tone answers you from the shadows.
“You’re welcome.”
And that’s it. But, who was he?
“Um…I’m not exactly sure where I ran to, do you happen to know which street I’m on?” You didn’t know Manhattan like the back of your hand at all. Not only that, but you were just…running. Though the city never sleeps, fate just so happened to make this new area you came to empty. This side was asleep. It had to be the gentrified area of Manhattan, huh?
And that’s how you meet Leonardo. Sort of. He gives you directions to your apartment complex, but you didn’t feel safe going alone.
So, when he steps out of the darkness, he’s covered in a brown hooded cloak where you can’t see his body shape or face.
He takes you home like that. But oh, here goes fate once again, and there goes this sudden gust of wind that catches him off guard, and his face is revealed.
He’s a…
“Turtle. Mutant turtle.”
And THAT’S how you meet Leonardo. He’s surprised at how well you take it, but, in all honesty, you really could use a friend in this crazy city you just moved to not too long ago.
Time goes on, his brother (Mikey) gets nosy as to why he sometimes goes solo during patrol going a direction, not in their usual route, and follows him quietly (kind of, he falls a couple of times, but meows so his older brother thinks it’s just a clumsy cat)
He watches as Leonardo stops on a fire escape and knocks on the window, the light from inside getting more intense as the window is opened, revealing why Leo goes off on his own sometimes
He watches as you rub your eyes, slightly tired as you greet his brother, only to be a little startled as another turtle…mutant turtle, lands right beside him
“Dude! Another human!? Hey!”
And THAT’S how you meet Michelangelo.
Word goes around, Mikey just can’t keep his mouth shut, plus, he accidentally set off the emergency button on his T-Phone, so Raphael and Donatello are tracking him together. Suddenly, two more mutant turtles are at your fire escape.
“Ya jokin’ right? THIS is tha emergency?” Piercing golden eyes engulfed by a red bandana look you up and down confused, then back at Mikey. You’re the threat?
“Mikey…are you harassing another human again?” A purple-banded turtle, who appears to look identical to Mikey, begins apologizing on his baby brother's behalf.
And THAT’S how you meet Raphael and Donatello
After inviting Leo and his brothers inside your apartment, you introduce yourself properly. Donnie takes it well, and Raph is always the warier one. But, he trusts his older brother. With his life, even. So, if he trusted you, Raphael felt obligated to do the same.
Plus, he thought you were cute.
Come to think of it, Leo also thought that, too.
And thus, begins Leonardo’s small crush on you.
It’s platonic. At least, that’s what he tells himself. He doesn’t act on it, and you show no signs of having a crush on him, so, why risk it?
You progressively become closer with Leonardo’s brothers, and soon- after knowing them for almost two months- they introduce you to their sensei.
He loves you, by the way. How accepting you are, how sweet you are to his sons, and he can sense the hidden affection his eldest son has for you.
Time goes on, but time is a thief- waiting for an opportunity to steal the happiness of those who take it for granted.
~
To: Y/n
I miss you. A lot, actually. I didn’t think I would miss you and my family so much, but, I do.
Sometimes when I’m sitting in this dark cave, I feel like you’re going to run up behind me and try to scare me like you always did when I was around. I always knew you were there, but sometimes I would fake it just to see you smile. You pouted whenever I told you that you didn’t startle me.
My training period is almost up, but I don’t feel any different than when I first landed. Are 3 months really enough to turn me into a better version of myself?
Anyway, I hope you’re doing well. I hope you’re keeping the others in line, lol. Donnie is easily overwhelmed, and I know Mikey and Raph together are nothing but trouble.
~ L
That was the first letter you had gotten from Leo where he showed his feelings towards you. The very first letter was much more lighthearted with an exciting tone to it, and you could hear Leo’s voice in your head while you read it.
You begin a collection of all the letters Leo has sent you so far in a blue folder. To look back on them when you miss him.
It’s almost been 3 months already. That’s how long Splinter made Leo’s training period. But, he was doubting himself and venting to you through this letter. Was it enough for him? No, Leo’s a perfectionist. That’s not a lot of time for him.
So, you wait, wondering just how long Leo is planning to potentially stay in South America.
Back in the city, everything is doing fine. Sure, the 3 remaining turtles miss Leo, but he’s supposed to be coming back. As long as he keeps sending his letters to them, they’ll know that he’s safe and alive. The jungle is a dangerous place, and who knows what types of threats Leo is facing over there?
You come around the Lair more to spend some time with Leo’s brothers while he’s gone. Raphael seems to be the most stoic about his absence, and upset about the fact that they can’t go up to the surface and fight crime. Mikey does his own thing, and for some reason, wanted to do something crazy and get a job. You had no idea how he was going to pull it off, but you were excited to see the outcome. Donatello is keeping both of them in line while trying to fix things in his free time. He starts to tell Mikey to break the toaster as Leo did so he has something to fix weekly. Yes, Leo broke the toaster weekly.
You were already close with Leo’s brothers, but now? You found yourself gravitating towards Raphael. The topic of Leo was on his mind, and he worried. He always did, even if he tried to hide it. Though his expression was always a straight face when it came to his older brother, on the inside, he cared. He cared so much.
And as 3 months come to a close, Leonardo isn’t back.
To: Y/n
I tried to write this particular letter so many times. Especially to you and Raph. I know it’ll be a lot for you.
I’m staying here. I can’t go back yet, not when I have so much more to work on.
I’ve already discussed with Splinter back and forth with these letters, and he thought it would be best if I wrote to you and the others in the next letter I sent.
I keep everyone’s letters. I try to keep track of the conversations we’re having. Right now, I’m having a debate with Mikey over whether the Earth is flat or not. Spoiler: It can’t. Ask Donny.
So, I guess I can ask you as well for a third opinion, do you think the Earth is flat? I mean, the Earth turns, does it not? Is that not some indication of time passing? Time passes as the world turns. Time goes on, right?
I want to keep this as light-hearted as possible, but for some reason, it’s hard to write this letter to you. I don’t want to bombard you with my feelings, but I can’t help but wonder if you think about me as much as I think about you. I’m not sure what that entails, but you are such a great friend to me, that I’m forever grateful for you.
Just a few more months. That’s it. Just a few more months and I’ll be finished. I want to come home and see you and the others again. I’ll be a better me in that time. Swear it.
~ L
He swore it.
He swore to you he would be back in a few more months.
When this round of letters comes to the Lair, Raphael is livid.
Livid because, well, he doesn’t take promises lightly. Leo promised he would come back in a few months in his letter. But Raphael was more upset that he wasn’t coming back after these 3 months. And even MORE upset about the fact that just because Leo is gone, doesn’t mean crime left with him. If anything, it’s at an all-time high. He can’t keep sitting here and watching it all happen on the news, either.
“It’ll be a few more months, okay Mikey?” Donnie tries to soothe his baby brother, as Mikey was visibly hurt by the news. He wanted his older brother back. Now.
“Don’t give Mikey false hope, Don.” Raph glares at the brown-eyed turtle, “It ain’t good fa him. Mikey, Leo ain’t comin’ back right now, God knows when he is, alright?”
That’s what Mikey needed to hear, according to Raph. He didn’t want to sugarcoat anything for Mikey. Hell, he was never good at sugarcoating anything for that matter.
~
It’s been almost a year. Almost a year without Leonardo. A year without your best friend, and a year without the person you cared for immensely.
You and Raphael get closer during this time. He’s the only turtle that rebels against Splinter and begins to stop crime on his own, and you appreciate him for it. You tell him that one day before you leave the Lair.
---
So as Raphael sits up from his position on the couch, he can’t help but smirk at you.
And good God, that smirk got you hooked.
By this point, the city had created a vigilante name for him: The Nightwatcher. You remember seeing a news article online in which the title photo had been a blurry shot of the vigilante, which was just Raphael in metal armor. Though the rest of the family was oblivious to this, you sure weren’t. Mikey becomes a Nightwatcher fangirl, and Donnie becomes a Nightwatcher hater.
“Wanna take Betsy out wit me tonight?” Raphael asks as he stands at your fire escape. Funny, he always gets deja vu when he stands there, it reminds him of when he first met you. How he was standoffish at first, but he found out that you weren’t so bad after all.
“You think Betsy can handle two crazies on her back this time?” You joke, looking down your fire escape and onto the street, seeing sleek and shiny ruby Betsy parallel parked in between two ivory Hyundais.
The last time you went on a bike ride with Raph, Betsy- the name you gave to it- sort of broke down. But, thanks to Raph’s fix-it skills (thanks Donnie,) she was up and running.
He chuckles at your response and puts his helmet back on. He motions you to follow him down the fire escape and hands you the spare helmet you used for all bike rides.
This one was different.
Why? Well, the others didn’t end in a kiss.
Raph let you do donuts around in an empty parking lot with his motorcycle, and he couldn’t help but smile at how happy you looked. How you wore your smile so well, and how he thought about other ways he could get it to appear over and over again.
He always thought you were cute.
But as the night went on, you find yourselves rendezvousing all across Manhattan on ol’ Betsy, letting your frustrations out about Leo’s extended absence on the highway, going 65…80…85 miles on the interstate. You lost count, you were having so much fun. You both spill your feelings about the current situation with your best friend and Raph’s brother. You’re hurt. But, can you blame him? You find it in your heart to forgive Leo after that. Raphael doesn’t. It’ll take more time for him.
When it was all said and done, you wind up falling asleep on the ride back, something that never happened. But there goes fate, again. Coming at the most unexpected times. Raphael carries you back up to your apartment- to which you tiredly ask if he stays with you. You knew- as tired as you were that Raph would get questioned by Donnie when he got back at this ungodly hour. The sun was damn near starting to rise, and sleeping over at your place is one hell of an alibi.
And then it just happens. You comment on how tired he looks, but it just makes him look even more attractive to you. THIS wakes him up, and as he wonders if he heard you right, you plant a kiss on his cheek as a thank you for staying.
Raph tests the waters a bit and takes a risk.
He kisses you. But, not on the cheek.
And that, dear readers, is how your first kiss with your now boyfriend went.
---
~
Raphael was right, it’s been an entire year. And now? There’s word from April that Leo is very much alive in South America. Though, you knew he was just fine. Despite the letters stopping completely, you knew in your heart Leo was okay. He knew how to take care of himself on his own.
So it’s no surprise when April gives you the news.
Your boyfriend is angry at him. Raph misses him, he told you that much, but he had this burning hatred for his brother for scaring the rest of the family like that. I mean, Mikey thought he was dead somewhere in the jungle miles and miles away.
You think about the last letter Leo sent you.
You wonder what his next letter would have been to you had he not stopped all those months ago. He sure would have had a lot to say in response to yours, anyway.
To: Leo
To answer your question, of course not. The Earth is NOT flat.
But Leo, time is a thief. You of all people should know that. You were always the philosophical type. The world turns, yes. It’s an indication of time, yes. But it matters not how much time has passed, but what you did with said time.
To answer your other question, I do think about you. I wonder what you’re doing, if you’re swinging on vines like Tarzan or something. I care a lot about you, and that hasn’t changed one bit. This time away from you has been difficult on everyone, but getting these letters every 3 weeks helps.
You can never bombard me with how you feel, your feelings are always valid to me. I want you to know that all those feelings you have for me are reciprocated.
~ Y/n
Maybe it was a miscommunication? You thought that for a while. You thought you had read his last letter wrong. Did he mean he had feelings for you? Because you had also developed a small crush on him. Before he left, you liked him.
But, what if you read it wrong? Did he just mean his feelings toward you as a caring friend who missed the yin to their yang?
Maybe you were thinking a little over your head. You weren’t even sure if he got this letter, anyway.
You never knew. He stopped writing after that. Not just to you, but to the others as well. It was simply a thought of what once was.
~
A few days after April comes back from her business trip, Leonardo seems to follow. It’s unexpected as hell. After spending the first half of a warm Saturday working and getting ready to head down to the Lair for the second half, you get a text message from Raph.

Raph, 8:00 pm
Babe, lmk when you come down, okay? There’s a surprise for ya
You start to think about what it could be. Maybe Mikey had a party gig earlier and got to take a slice of your favorite cake home. You always liked being surprised with a slice of cake wrapped in tinfoil when you went down to see your boyfriend.
But only it’s not cake.
You come toward the entrance of the Lair a few moments after you messaged Raph you were close, and there he was, giving you a quick kiss and covering your eyes.
“Ya might like it more than I did,” His gruff voice comments. As you’re helped by Raph into the Lair, you sense something you haven’t in a long time.
It’s Leonardo.
You knew it from the moment Raph took his hands away from covering your eyes. You were face to face with someone’s plastron, and judging by the arm muscles you knew it was Leo. He was the only one who wasn’t as bulky as Raph, yet not as small as Mikey or Donnie. He was right in the middle.
“H-hey.”
You thought a lot about how you would react to Leo if he came home. Would you cry? Would you not forgive him anymore? Would it go back to the way it used to be? You could only predict how your brain would react but failed to predict how your heart would.
You hug him first.
You always did, anyway.
Leo wished he had hugged you first right now, though. But, it’s a sweet moment between you two.
“I missed you, jerk.” You say into his plastron. On the surface to everyone but Leo, it’s two best friends reuniting after a year of not seeing each other. But deep down, it’s Leo hugging the person he’s grown to love. He loves you.
Raphael- as much as he despises his older brother at the moment- calms down for the time being since Leo stepped foot in the Lair an hour earlier. He knows that you and Leo were close before, and how much you missed him as a friend. You never told Raph about what you last sent Leo and what you thought of it. It wasn’t relevant, and it was sent MONTHS before that night you became a couple. It was sent way before you fell for Raph. And once again, it just wasn’t relevant. Leo never bothered to send you a letter that confirmed your feelings were friends or more than that. So, it had to be just friends. He saw you as just that, and you had to accept it. Which, you could. You could accept being platonic with him, and just be the good friends you were.
Once you break away, you and the others sit down in the living room like old times. Mikey’s asking Leo all these questions about South America, and Donnie’s asking about the native wildlife. You and Raph on the other hand, ask the harder questions.
“Why’d ya stay longa?”
“Did ya forget us?”
Raphael asks him these questions, and Leo’s honest about each one.
He stayed because he needed time. He never- not for one second forgot about you guys. He missed you all. He knows he fucked up.
“Why did you stop writing?” You ask.
This is a tough question. You look at him with concerned eyes, and Raph puts an arm around you.
“I um…I got caught up in my own world, and…” Leo trails off as if he was thinking of what to say. But, he lost it. That’s when it hits him. He doesn’t say anything. He’s so fixated on the way his brother is touching you, and how you let him. Almost as if it’s an afterthought.
“I ran out of ink.”
“You couldn’t like, buy any?” Mikey asks, earning an eye roll from Raph and Donnie.
No. No, he couldn’t.
+++
As you spend your evening down in the Lair and hanging out with everyone, you notice Leo going to Splinter’s room, and you hear indistinct chatter coming from upstairs. Leo had spoken to his father when he first got back. In fact, nobody even knew Leo came back until Raphael overheard them talking from the cracked sliding door.
Though it wasn’t your business, you wondered what they were speaking about.
You weren’t one to eavesdrop, but the bathroom just so happened to be across from his room, so you heard their conversation for a few moments anyway.
“The best you can do is let them be happy, my son. Which they are. You cannot reverse time when things do not go as planned.”
“I…I know, but…I realized how much I liked Y/n when I was out there. I just…I was too late.”
‘Using the bathroom could wait,’ You thought. As you continue listening. You listen to the pain in Leo’s voice as he describes how his heart shattered when he realized Raph found his way into your heart. He wondered if you noticed. Splinter says no, you wouldn’t have noticed. You would be oblivious, as Leo never took that chance to send you those letters when he was away.
He saved them and brought them home to give to you. Well, he was going to give them to you.
Leo lied earlier. He never stopped writing. In fact, that’s all he did in times of loneliness. He wrote. He wrote until his hand was cramped or he had to start over because he felt he wasn’t conveying his emotions well enough. He had as much ink as a turtle could have.
That hug meant more to him than you could think. He planned on getting you alone and giving you the unsent letters to take before you went back to your apartment. But he couldn’t anymore. He couldn’t ruin the relationship you had with Raphael. He wouldn’t- no- couldn’t be that selfish. It just wasn’t in his nature.
So what did happen with those letters?
This burning curiosity seems to take over. You take a wild guess and enter Leo’s room- seemingly untouched for the past year. There’s a small pouch on his bed, the same one that he wore when he said his goodbyes before leaving way back when. You open the front zipper, it feels flimsy from all the wear and tear. Your senses were correct, and there was a folded yellow paper in the compartment. The same color paper that Leo wrote letters on.
You lock yourself in Leo’s room and sit down on his bed to open up this folded mystery.
You’re surprised to see that upon opening, 3 more letters fall out in a crinkled mess on your lap. After sorting them by date, a part of you wishes that he sent them sooner. But then another part of you disagrees- the part that loves Raph. You were happy with him, so fucking happy. You were a near-perfect match for each other. He saw you at your lowest and was there to help you out. He was always caring, even if he didn’t always tell you- he showed it.
Not only that, but you couldn’t go back and change the past.

To: Y/n
You always were so good with words. It’s the one thing that I always admired about you.
I’m glad you feel the same about me as I do about you. You’re always on my mind, Y/n. I thought it was just a little crush at first but…gah, I’m not sure. I think it’s more. I’ve never had a crush before. Haha, I’m pretty good with unintentionally rhyming, huh?
You’re absolutely right, time is a thief. I hate myself for not realizing that with all the time I’ve taken up. I write little by little, and I apologize for taking so long with this one, but I wasn’t sure how to write that I feel like I’m falling in love with you.
And I know it’s a lot to use the word love- but I’m positive that’s what it is. As I sit here and think about you, I always go back to the first time I ever laid eyes on you. How gorgeous you looked despite the situation. How you were so sweet when fate got the best of me and revealed my true self to you. How you were sweet to me even after, and how you were warm and welcoming. The average person would have run to the hills, but you stayed. You stayed all this time, and I think that’s one of the reasons why I’ve come to love you. How accepting you are of those who are different.
7/20/2007
To: Y/n
It was selfish of me to leave you all. I know that if I send this letter and the others I wrote to you months after I received yours, there’s a chance that you don’t have those same feelings anymore. And there’s also a chance that I’m completely taking what you said the wrong way.
But, if I didn’t, and you truly feel those feelings for me- the “more than friends” kind, then please, read on. If not, take what I say with a grain of salt.
I guess the saying is correct; absence does make the heart grow stronger.
With that being said, I have a rather…odd request. I know it’s a lot, I know it is.
I want you to wait for me. I should have told you this before I left, but it was just a small crush back then. I wasn’t sure if I should tell you.
I know, it’s extremely selfish to ask you to lock your heart and throw away the key until I return, but we all get at least one selfish pass, right? If you can’t, I understand. I hope you find someone that loves you the way I would have when I came back home.
But a small part of me hopes you don’t find someone, and we get to be together after all.
Then again, I can’t control anything. I can only wish. Wish upon the millions of stars that scatter the South American sky.

To: Y/n
I was always the philosophical type, and I’m glad you noticed. If this is the world where I get to be with you, I’ll cherish it. I’ll cherish you. I’ll cherish us.
But, if the cards aren’t in our favor, then I know there’s a parallel universe where I get to be with you.
Perhaps all I had to do was choose to write back to you instead of waiting and getting caught up in my training. Or maybe I choose to never go to South America. All of these decisions happen in the multiverse--I just so happened to get the short end of the stick in this one.
+++
Your eyes, welling up in tears, fold the slightly worn papers back up and into the pouch, zipping it back up. Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, but ignorance sure did. And right now, as sad and torn as you are, you feel relieved that you read these. Leo would have had to suffer in silence, without ever telling a soul but his Sensei.
As you exit Leo’s room, feeling a sense of confusion and uncertainty. you ask yourself the grand question, despite being in a daze:

for the prompt, 26 and peter quill with a teenage borrower?
this has been sitting in my inbox for over a month LOL so sorry anon who was probably expecting something better, much sooner
from this post
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Aw, c’mon, bud. I’m not that scary, am I?”
You gulped. He kind of was, but you weren’t going to say that.
See, you knew exactly who this guy was – Star Lord, leader of the famous Guardians of the Galaxy. He was so famous that even borrowers knew who they were, and your kind tended to stay so secluded that they barely knew anything about the giants of your world.
It was the thing you hated the most. Giants were fascinating! They did things with such ease, and they never had to worry about basic survival like you did. You knew if you could study them up close, you could learn something and help make life better for all of you.
Unfortunately, you really failed to take into account how utterly terrifying it was going to be.
“Aw, man…” Peter frowned. He had noticed this little thing following him around this shop – they couldn’t have been more than 16 years old. He pretended that he didn’t notice them, since he knew they definitely thought they were being sneaky, but they were so caught up in following him that they didn’t notice the ledge of the shelf they were running across was rapidly approaching, and before they knew it, they were tumbling toward the ground. Peter caught them, and now they were sitting in his cupped hands, wide-eyed and trembling.
Guess he was that scary.
“Hey, don’t – c’mon, it’s alright, don’t cry!”
Crap, you were crying. That’s so embarrassing! you yelled in your head, furiously trying to blink away the tears without moving too much, but it was no use. You thought you were being sneaky. You thought you were being brave. But when it came down to it, you were just as terrified as everyone else in your village.
“Shit, um–” Quill looked around, making sure nobody else was nearby. The rest of the Guardians were waiting back on the ship, since this was supposed to be a quick stop to get these little cookies that reminded Peter of Oreos. “Hold on, ‘lil dude, I’m takin’ us somewhere else.”
You whimpered at the sudden movement, too stubborn to stabilize yourself in fear of looking even weaker than you felt now. A few minutes felt like a few hours, but soon, you stopped moving. Quill had found a quiet corner outside the shop.
“Okay, I think we’re safe here,” he huffed, leaning against a dirty brick wall. He took a moment to look you over – wide eyes, heavy breathing, arms pinned tensely at your side. He wasn’t exactly sure how to proceed, but he knew he had to calm you down.
“What’s your name? Can you tell me that?”
You squeezed your eyes and shook your head. Even if you wanted to tell him, the words would have gotten caught in your throat.
Peter sighed. “Okay. Names later, that’s cool, that’s cool. Well, I’m Peter Quill, people call me Star-Lord.”
You nodded. “I know.”
Quill perked up at the impossibly small sound of your voice. “You know me, huh? I’m that famous?”
You couldn’t help but giggle. How could he not know how famous he was?
You didn’t notice Peter’s soft smile. Maybe he would get through to you after all.
“How old are you, little buddy?”
You hesitated. “...Fifteen.”
“Fifteen?! My god, little dude. You shouldn’t be out alone! Where are your parents?” Quill nearly laughed when he said those words. He never thought he would be the scolding parent type.
You shrunk back. “I…” You didn’t expect him to get mad! And you couldn’t just tell him, either. Why did he have to ask that?!
Peter could immediately tell he had just asked a sensitive question. “Woah, hey, I’m sorry,” he said suddenly, feeling the tears splashing down on his palm. “I, uh, I get it.”
You tilted your head.
“Well, I lost my mom when I was real young, back when I lived on earth.” He said that like you should know what earth was. “And my dad… well, I kind of killed my dad, but I didn't even meet him until a few months ago.” He smirked at the look of sheer confusion on your face. “Oh, don’t worry. He totally deserved it.” A pause. “Anyway! What I’m saying is… I know what it’s like not to have…” He trailed off. “But I’ve got my friends, and that’s more important, anyway. Do you have any friends around?”
You gulped. One of the most sacred borrower rules was to never reveal the existence of others if you were to get caught. Of course, you had already broken the most sacred law, which was to never be seen, no matter what.
You couldn’t help but really reflect on the question he just asked. Sure, you lived with the village, but after what happened to your parents, you were rarely allowed to leave. They didn’t even know you had left to observe Star-Lord. They were gonna be real mad about that.
“...I’ll assume by your long pause and contemplative looks that the answer is, it’s complicated.”
You shook your head sadly. You don’t know what compelled you to admit this; maybe you respected his attempt to sympathize with you. Or maybe you just really wanted his help.
“I… I thought – if I could watch you, I could learn from you,” you squeaked. “Make things better for me. For everyone.”
Quill felt his heart swell. That was an adorable admission.
“But – but nobody listens to me,” you continued. “They don’t care what I have to say. They probably don’t even – I doubt they even noticed that I’m gone.”
A moment passed before Peter spoke again. “Well, what did you learn?”
“Well, I… I learned that giants can be really nice.” You instantly blushed. Did you just say that out loud?
Quill knitted his eyebrows. “Are we not supposed to be?”
“Well… yeah,” you said. “That’s why I’m not supposed to be seen.”
“Gotta say, little bud, you’re doing a terrible job at not being seen.”
Quill was relieved to see you laugh at that. He didn’t know why, but he felt this tug toward you. Maybe it was because you seemed to be receptive to his jokes, or maybe it was the way you looked at him with those pleading eyes. Yondu was there for him when he needed it most – maybe you needed someone like that, too.
“So,” Quill started, “you really want to learn from me?”
You nodded tentatively. What was he getting at?
“Well, if it’s alright with you… why don’t you come hang out with me and the Guardians for a bit?”
You nearly fell over. “What?”
Quill smiled. “You could learn how to fight, how to build stuff, how to pilot a ship… well, maybe not that last part, because nobody flies the Milano but me. But you could definitely watch.”
“Are… are you serious?”
Peter nodded. “Of course I am. Plus, this place sucks, right? Like, it’s totally boring.”
“It – it is pretty uneventful around here.”
“Exactly. See? I think you already know the answer.”
You thought about it for a moment. You would be leaving, totally unannounced. The village would go frantic searching for you… if they even noticed you were gone. You could actually see what was out there! You could learn skills you only dreamed of having. You could protect yourself… just like the giants could.
“I’ll go with you!”
Now, Quill was beaming. “I knew it. Your life is about to become insanely awesome, little bud. Just wait until you meet the others.”
You couldn’t help but beam along with him as he walked away, the landscape you once called home melting further and further in the difference before disappearing completely.
Peter Quill wasn’t so scary after all.

Meeting A Magical Man Pt. 37
Part 1: Link Prev: Link Next: Link
“Ow, ow, ow!” Marvin said as Henrik slapped his arm over and over again.
“Why in the world would you do that!?” Henrik scolded. “After all you have gone through to break it, you keep it!?”
“It was to buy time!” Marvin protested.
“He’s going to make you-” Henrik stopped himself and shook his head. “Damn it, Marvin.”
“So, I’m forced to live here for a while because Dark got pissed at you?” Jackie asked, tone showing that he wasn’t angry, just trying to figure out what was going on.
“Basically. I didn’t tell him my brother was working for Actor and threatened to break my neck if I ever withheld information from him again.” Phantom explained. “He thinks if I’m here, I’ll report anything ‘suspicious’ back to him. He thinks I’m loyal to a fault, and this lapse of judgment came from a personal matter being in the way. Now that I’m with the personal matter. There’s no need for me to lie anymore.” He sat himself down on the couch with Marvin, looking just as tired.
“So you’re Mare?” Jackie turned to Mare and offered a hand. “I’m Jackie Boimen.”
“Not shocking that you’re the boyfriend I’ve heard only a little about.” Mare chuckled, giving the hand a quick shake.
“What does that mean?” Jackie asked.
“He likes them big.” Mare clicked his tongue.
“And you like them small and nerdy.” Phantom teased back, quickly moving his leg since he knew Mare was going to kick him.
“Well, I’m glad to hear none of you got physically hurt during all of that.” Edward finally spoke from his spot on one of the living room chairs.
“They are lucky they didn’t.” Henrik huffed.
Chase was going to say something, but he noticed how Mad slipped out of the room. He waited until Henrik started his lecture again before stepping out of the room as well. Chase followed Mad as he left the house from the back door and sat on the porch. After giving him a second of peace, Chase sat down with him, not saying anything yet and waiting for Mad to go first. He sent a quick text to Marvin telling him where he and Mad were, not needing them to panic at their sudden disappearance.
“It’s all my fault,” Mad spoke after almost a minute of silence.
“Nah, dude. This is all a big mess that’s beyond one person.” Chase said with a shrug.
“But this would have never happened if I wasn’t so out of control.”
"I know the feeling."
"You do?"
"Yeah. Stuff happens that we have no control over, and then you spend so long blaming yourself, thinking if you had more control, then the world would be the same but…but that's not how it works. The world is shitty and shitty things happen, and we can't just mope around thinking if we hide, it'll stop." Chase glanced over his shoulder toward the house. "We have people who care and love us and want us to be with them."
"You're talking about Marvin." Mad guessed.
"Yeah." Chase chuckled. "Henrik a bit too. You saw the way he was smacking Marvin. He cares about us.”
“I don’t really have that.” Mad tucked his legs up and hugged his knees.
“That's not true. You have Mare. He cares"
"His job is to babysit me."
"He literally put himself in danger for you. Twice. Let you leave with us and got himself involved with Dark." Chase shook his head with a laugh. "No job would have him doing that, and, you know, he technically quit when he went with us. He'd still be here even if Dark didn't tell him to." He leaned over to look at Mad's face. "You know that, don't you?"
"Yeah," Mad said in a whisper. "Consciously, I am aware of our friendship, but my brain still-it-it tells me that… never mind."
"Tells you that you don't deserve it?" Chase gave a smile when Mad looked at him in shock. "My brain can be a dick too."
"Why are you and Marvin doing this for me? You don't know me."
"We're on a lifelong quest to better the world."
"No, you're not." Mad couldn't help his little giggle.
"You got me there. But, honestly, I have no idea. Or at least I don't know right now. Maybe we're trying to better ourselves, or maybe after meeting you, we couldn't go through with it. Maybe if you were a shitty person, we could justify just letting you go and never think of you again." Chase held up a hand and arched it in the air, his tone showing he was joking about the last part. "I don't know."
"That's fair." Mad sniffed and let his legs go. "We should probably head back in."
"True. We can get a drink in the kitchen on the way back. There’s water, and Marvin's got a whole tea system he can do. He also has those like Starbucks canned coffee drink things." Chase tried to make the shape of the can with his hands and paused at seeing Mad perk up.
“Does he have the mocha ones?” Mad looked like he’d be wagging a tail if he had one.
“Yeah, those are his favorite, so there’s a shit ton.” Chase pointed with his thumb and blinked when Mad was instantly up on his feet and heading back into the house. “Found a sweet spot.” He laughed to himself and got up into the house as well. He saw Mad in the fridge, looking to have gone in there with no hesitation.
“Would you like one?” Mad popped his head over the fridge door.
“I’m good.”
“Okay.” Mad was gone again, and after a moment, the door closed, and Mad was sipping one of the coffee drinks, a second one in hand. Chase just chuckled to himself and walked to the living room with Mad.
“I have spare rooms, but we’re going to have to bunk up,” Marvin said. “I got my room and two more. You four can figure out how you want to split up.”
“How many beds are in the spare rooms?” Mare asked.
“One, but I can try to-”
“And there was only one bed.” Phantom broke into a laugh that turned into a curse when Mare managed to kick him this time.
“You need to cut it out.” Mare hissed and then noticed Mad had returned. “Are you really drinking coffee right now?”
“Chase offered.” Mad had the biggest grin as he took another drink from the can, holding up his other hand to show the second one off.
“You’re not drinking two of those damned things.” Mare started walking over to Mad.
“Not our place. You can’t do anything about it.” Mad’s grin somehow got bigger as he took a step back.
“Give me the can.”
“No.” Mad popped his lips before turning and taking off.
“You just said this isn’t our place, and you run in it?” Mare called after him and took off as well. “Get back here!”
“No!”
“And they are not dating?” Edward asked, pointing in the direction Mare and Mad had gone.
“Apparently not,” Phantom said with a roll of his eyes.
“I mean, they could have a very close friendship,” Henrik suggested.
“Not sure how that fits when one definitely wants to fuck the brat out of the other,” Marvin said very casually, a smirk forming on his lips when he noticed the pink on Chase and Jackie’s face.
“If it was anyone else but my brother, I’d be a lot more interested in that conversation.” Phantom chuckled. “Oh! You have to confirm a rumor Anti was passing around.”
“If it’s about me, then I’m slapping him.” Marvin clicked his tongue.
“It’s about that man of yours. Anti’s saying that he has more than enough to play with.” Phantom nearly purred, and Marvin chuckled, catching on to what he meant right away.
“Of course, Anti would go around talking about that, and yes, it is very true,” Marvin added a wink at the end of his sentence.
“So you’re saying.” Phantom held up a finger with each hand, holding them apart.
“Here.” Marvin took hold of Phantom’s hands, adjusting the distance. “This is soft.” He then held the fingers further apart. “This is hard.”
“No fucking way. You have to let me see. You’re lying.” Phantom giggled his words, getting Marvin to do the same.
“No way. I know what you’re riding. You’ve got plenty to work with yourself. Chase is all mine to enjoy on my own.”
“At least they’re getting along?” Jackie said to Chase, looking very confused.
“I think? I mean, I have no idea what they’re talking about.” Chase admitted.
“Me neither.”
“They’re talking about your dicks.” Edward bluntly stated.
“Our…oh!” Chase’s eyes widened while Jackie choked on his own breath and started coughing.
“And I thought one horny person in the house was messy enough,” Henrik said with a roll of his eyes, taking his phone out when it started to buzz. “One moment, Robbie is calling.” He excused himself from the room, picking up the call as he stepped out and nearly got run over by Mad and Mare.
Mad bounced around the room, seeming to float in the air as he got up on the couch and flew over to one of the shelves, sitting on top with the most prideful grin, finishing off one of his canned coffee before opening up the other one.
“Seems like he has control over his magic when he’s being a shit.” Phantom chuckled.
“Maybe because he’s not stressed out about it?” Marvin suggested.
“Really? On the shelf? Are you a cat?” Mare huffed, standing at the bottom of the shelf and looking up at Mad with his hands on his hips.
“Meow,” Mad said with a giggle before stiffening. He made a face and then sneezed. After waving a hand to get some of the dust to settle, Mad suddenly appeared on the couch between Marvin and Phantom. “Ugh, you need to clean up there.” He groaned and scratched his nose with the back of his hand.
“I don’t really make a habit of going up there.” Marvin chuckled. “Also, you got dust on my couch.”
“Oh, sorry.” Mad stood up, and in a blink, the dust on his body and the couch were gone.
“He didn’t move his hands,” Phantom said.
“He didn’t.” Marvin echoed, having seen Mad’s hands stay on the cans, no movement at all for him to cast that spell.
“Why does that matter?” Chase asked.
“Holy shit…” Marvin didn’t hear Chase’s question. “That’s…holy shit, that’s why Actor wants to keep him.”
“He can do magic without a trigger,” Mare confirmed Marvin’s thoughts. “Once he has full control…he can’t be stopped.”

Cold- Eddie Munson x reader
Part four ♡
Part three / Part five
Warnings: vague references to SA, angst/depressing shit, but also fluff and wholesomeness
A/N: smut coming next chapter
-
Early the next morning, you’re up and tired like always. You get ready for the day, pulling on your favorite pants and sweater and doing your makeup pretty naturally. You pull your hair out of the bun you slept in, leaving it nice and wavy. You put on your converse, grabbed your beat up backpack you’ve had since freshman year, and headed to school.
When you get there and to your locker, which is the first place you go in the morning, you find the dark-haired boy in all black standing beside it as if he was waiting. You take a sip of the shitty coffee you picked up on the way to school and walk up to him.
“Hey.”
“Hey.”
You smile at him sweetly, but then it comes back to you. Shit. Everything you said last night. He notices the change in your face right away and grows concerned.
“What’s wrong? Too clingy? Sorry I wanted by your locker, just wanted to see you real quick before school started.” He backs away, out of your personal space.
“No, no. Just- I don’t want it to be awkward. Can you just pretend we didn’t talk on the phone last night?” You ask, cheeks burning up.
“I don’t feel like it’s awkward, but sure, of course. My lips are sealed.” He makes a gesture of zipping them shut and tossing the key over his shoulder. You roll your eyes and smile at him before heading to your class.
At lunch, you meet up at the picnic table. The famous one he uses to do all sorts of business meetings and beating up asshole dudes. You arrive to see him already there, and sit down with him, opening up the bottle of soda you brought in place of a meal. You sit together for a moment, before he gets antsy.
“If anything, I’m the one that should feel weird, okay? I started it. I was being a fucking perv.”
“Maybe, but so was I.” You shrug, feeling the tension and awkwardness dissipate. He smiles. It’s something about him.
he’s different
he’s different
he’s different plays over and over in your head as your adoration for him grows with every minute you spend together.
“So uh, you wanna unpack all that or do you still wanna pretend it never happened?” He chuckles.
“What is there to unpack? You were horny, I helped you.”
“The things you said, did you mean them or were you just trying to help me?”
“Yes, Eddie, I meant them. But I also meant it when I said down the road.”
“Oh, okay. That’s okay.” He reassures you.
“Well, the sex part. I want to wait for that, but maybe not for the other stuff.” You add.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm.”
“Okay, cool…”
You see the gears turning in his sweet little head, using all of the brain power he has to think of a good way to ask you to-
“Are you thinking about asking me when I want to hang out again?”
“Yeah.”
“Maybe you could invite me over…just an idea..”
“Where are my manners? Would you like to come over?”
“Yes, I would. Thank you.” You giggle.
“Wait, I wanted to ask- you know you don’t have to do anything at all, right? You know I would never in a million years ask you to do something you don’t want to?”
“I know. You’re *different*. I feel safe with you. You’re not anything like them, I know that.”
-
“So are you like alone here just all the time?” You ask, looking around his small house and remembering the night you really met.
“Nah, not all the time, but most of the time.”
You look around at the inside, noting the mugs on the wall and the old couch and the tiny kitchen that you saw before. Every little detail. The air started to feel hot and suffocating. All of a sudden, something hits you, and you wonder if maybe coming here was a mistake.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Hello?” He’s gently shaking your shoulder, trying to get your attention while your mind goes back to that moment. Tears start to form in your eyes and fall out before you can stop them, vision becoming blurry.
“Uh, shit, don’t cry. Um, cmon.” He grabs your hand, pulling you back outside and helping you sit down on the front steps as he scrambles to get you a cigarette out. Since you met, that was the main thing he knew really helped you. It was all he knew to do. He lights it himself then hands it to you, sitting down beside you while you mindlessly hit the cigarette.
“What, is it really that messy in there?” He jokes, trying to get you to smile.
“No.” You sniffle.
“I don’t know, I just- I just remembered everything. I think it might’ve had a bigger impact on me than I thought because as soon as I got the flashbacks i couldn’t breathe.”
“Oh. I’m sorry, pretty girl. I understand.” He wraps his arm around you, slung over your shoulder.
“You aren’t the one who should be apologizing to me, it should be him. It should fucking be him.” You try hard to will yourself to stop crying, stop being dramatic.
“I know. I know.” He whispers into your hair.
“It was so awful, but then there was you. You… you changed everything. You saved me.”
“I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I didn’t do anything special. Just the bare minimum, in my opinion.” He shrugs.
“No, it was so much more than that. You helped me. But now I’m sitting here fucking crying again, just like I was that night.”
“It’s okay to cry, ya know? It’s okay.”
“Am I, like, traumatized?” You question, unsure of everything. You don’t want to admit that, of all things. You didn’t want to carry what happened that night with you for the rest of your life.
“Maybe. That would be understandable, though. You shouldn’t have had to go through that.”
“It’s even worse that he goes to our school, I’ve been having these mini panic attacks when I see him. Flashbacks, like this.”
“I know. But he won’t come near you, I promise. If he ever does, I promise you I’ll take care of it.”
You take some deep breaths, finish the cigarette, and take even more deep breaths.
“Okay, I’m sorry about that. We can go in now.” You say, straightening yourself out and trying to not look like a crazy person.
“Are you sure? You don’t have to if it’s too hard.”
“I’m sure. Can we cuddle?”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”
So now you’re in his bed together, watching some shitty comedy movie he had rented on VHS. Your head is buried in his chest, and you’re curled up in his lap.
He messes with your hair, running his fingers through it and pushing the stray pieces behind your ear. Soon, you’re so relaxed that you could fall asleep and you make a split second decision that could fuck up everything, all of this.
“I love you.”
You can’t see his face but can hear the smile in his voice and your worries slowly start to disappear.
“You think?”
“Mhm.” You say, nodding your head, “I know.”
“I love you too, pretty baby.”
A few more tears slip out, but this time ones of peace and happiness. He doesn’t see them, he doesn’t need to see them. He just needed to hold you, and you just needed to be held by him.
He knows it’s early, you know it too, but it feels right. If it somehow ended up being wrong, you’d deal with that when it comes. But for now, it was all so good. You melted in his embrace long ago, now just a puddle of emotions.
He keeps soothing you even after you’re fine, he has a gift. No one has ever felt like home to you before, and he made it seem so simple, so easy. As though it were purely natural.
You stay in your position, just laying down now. You didn’t fall asleep, you wanted to feel this moment with him so maybe you’d never forget it. He thought you did, though, and was fine with that. He just kept playing with your hair.
“This movie is so stupid.” You grumble against his chest, and he laughs, surprised that you were watching it.
“Yeah, it kinda sucks. It was the only movie I had.” He rationalizes.
“Wait, look at me.” He tells you, and so you lift your head up to face him. You swear you could see the stars in his dark brown eyes, almost getting completely lost in them.
“Hmm?” You ask.
“So… you love me, and I love you… do I even need to ask?”
“Yes, you do. Go ahead.” You smile, waiting for the question you both already know the answer to.
“Well… would you be my girlfriend?”
“Always.”
You consider for a second the fact that you came over here to presumably do something sexual with him but ended up in a ball crying. Then you consider the fact he’s perfectly okay with that.
He didn’t give a shit about what you’d said earlier at the bench, your emotions came before anything else in the world.
He would adore you still if you said you never wanted to fuck around with him. He knew he’d need to wait, and he was okay with that. For now, he had this: ‘I love you.’

The Opposite of Lost - Chapter One
The Opposite of Lost
Pairing: Josh Kiszka x Female OC
a/n: So this is my first fic ever, and I’m super nervous to post but here goes :) It’s set in highschool and will be nothing more than fluff, I’m sorry if that upsets you. Although I love and respect our incredible smut writers, I am unfortunately not one of them :( Anyway, back to the story. The premise is ‘new girl with secrets meets sweet boy’ - very sappy and overdone but whatever. If you like John Denver, I can promise great things for you in this fic ;) This story is a complete slow burn told mostly by Josh’s pov after the first chapter. Also, I’m Aussie so if I get anything wrong to do with American slang, school or spelling please forgive me! I hope you enjoy :)
We will reach a bit of domestic abuse in a few chapters so please be cautious!
Word Count: 4.5k
Chapter One
☾ ⋆・゚:⋆ Joshua
I caught sight of a pair of dungarees ahead in the trail, and watched carefully as she walked barefoot towards us. I looked to the ground for a moment while she came close, not wanting to stare, though I turned my head to her as she passed with a shy smile.
“I swear she’s always here when we are,” I whispered to Jake once she was out of earshot. “It’s almost like she’s following us.”
“I guess.” Jake said absentmindedly, continuing up the hill. But I turned to watch her for a moment, squinting to see her track off the side of the trail and disappear into the woods. My sudden urge to follow her was interrupted by Jake looking back from a ways in front, “Someone in love over here?” At that, I ran back uphill to shove my brother.
We saw her a bunch that week, though I seemed to be the only one to notice the way she was always going off the trails, or how she would be sitting on a boulder on the next hill over when we reached the summit of our usual trail.
I had finally convinced my brothers to explore beyond the trails, and we’d decided to go into the valley that was surrounded by a loop hiking track so we’d be able to find our way out easily. As we reached the ridge, I spotted a clearing around the middle of the valley along the riverbed.
“That’s gotta be our goal,” Sam said, pointing exactly where I was looking. We all grinned in agreement before setting off with a joyful huff.
*❀。• ₊°。Rosemary
Shedding my overalls and crop top, I plunged into the chilly river water in my bikini. I swam a little around the river pool and ended up wading right to the small waterfall where I sat on my special little rock, just as I had everyday since I moved here. It was so perfect here, the waterfall singing its everlasting song while I sat in the sun, just warm enough to tolerate the sprinkle of water from the waterfall. The wash of sound was able to fade out the distant calls and laughter I heard earlier, presumably from the three boys I passed once again today.
I furrowed my brows as that laughter seemed to come back, and upon realisation, my head snapped across to those very boys peeking through the tree line. “Woah,” The tallest said, standing still at the side of the river, far from the waterline, “Guess we’re not the first to find this place after all Jake.” Concerned and confused looks plastered their faces. “Should we go up to her? Maybe we should leave..” he asked.
“Dude no! I didn’t hike all this way for nothing!” ‘Jake’ said
“Well what do we say?” The first retorted.
“It’s not like we have to ask permission!” I chuckled at their bickering.
“It kinda feels like we do… she did find it fi—”
“Are you boys going to swim or did you just plan on standing there all day?” I yelled, putting them out of their misery. I took a good look at the three, the first, a long haired boy with his shirt buttoned so low it seemed to have no purpose; the second, a lankier tall one that looked younger in the face than the other two, and the last, with similar features to the first, but with short curly hair, who I hadn’t seen look away from me the second he entered the clearing. Nor had he uttered a single word to the other two. He was grinning at my call; enough, in fact, to show his dimples, while the others looked at me in shock. Cute I thought.
☾ ⋆・゚:⋆ Joshua
I was in awe from the moment I left the trees. I don’t think I have seen a more beautiful scene in my entire life. The glistening water was beautiful. The waterfall across the rocks was beautiful. And she was beautiful. She was bronzed by the sun, brown hair shiny and slick as she sat on a rock, revealing her soft face, spare of makeup. She looked so natural, one with the gorgeous world around her.
She started swimming over towards us as we stripped to our shorts and started getting in.
“Nice spot you’ve got here.” Jake said, slipping into the water.
“Why thank you! And who may you be my trespassing friends?” She said with a smile.
“I’m Jake.”
“And I’m his bro Sam!” Sam said as he jumped into the water straight on top of Jake.
“I’m Rose.” She said, laughing as they continued brawl. “And you are?” She turned to look up at me with her hand out to shake.
“Jo—” Just as I took her hand she tightened the grip and yanked me into the water. I rose to the surface in shock, but when I looked at her I couldn’t help smile at her giggling. “Josh. Joshua Michael Kizska.” I said finally after she calmed down a bit.
“Well in that case I’m Rosemary June Finch. Pleased to meet you Joshua.” Rosemary replied.
“And you Rosemary.” I returned. We held a beat of eye contact, the moment softened by our smiling eyes.
“Come with me, I’ll show you guys the jumping spot!” She widened her grin as she cocked her head toward the waterfall before swimming over to the edge. I looked into blank space for a moment as she dipped beneath the water until my vision was occupied by Jake, who had a smirk plastered on his face as he looked at me, shaking his head.
After we’d each had our share of jumping off the small waterfall cliff and swimming around, we settled on the rocks to bathe in the afternoon sun.
“You must be new in town Rosemary, I’ve never seen you before. And you look around our age?” I started.
“Yeah, I moved here at the start of summer break, and I’m turning eighteen this year.” She replied.
“I can’t believe we’ve been hiking here for our entire lives and never found this place, and you’ve been here for literally two months and you seem to know the place like the back of your hand.” Jake said, furrowing his brows.
“About time you come off-the-beaten-track then.” Rosemary laughed.
“So are you in like, school or something?” Sam questioned.
“Yeah I’ll be in senior year at Frankenmuth High school this year.”
I sat straight upright from laying flat on the rock. “No way we’re in senior year there too!” I said, motioning to Jake and I.
“You’ll have to show me the ropes then.” Rosemary said with a warm smile.
We each rambled on about the high school experience for a while, trying to warn Rosemary about some of the teachers and students until we were satisfied that she wouldn't die on her first day. Then, we all laid on our backs, listening to the waterfall and the afternoon wind in the trees.
“I gotta tell you Rose, it’s pretty brave to come out here alone and all,” Jake said after a while.
“Oh, I didn’t come alone, don't worry! I brought Jack with me.” She replied, a mischievous smile growing on her face as she turned to shuffle through her bag as everyone sat up.
“Who’s Jack?” Sam said, as we all started looking around for some other person while she pulled out something from her bag.
“Captain Jack!” I turned to see her holding a small hunting knife, removing it from its sheath. A chorus of ‘woah’s and shocked huffs erupted as us boys leaned back a little. “He’ll get me out of trouble. Haven’t had to use him yet, I don’t think I ever will though.” She said as she twirled the thing in her hand, before tossing with a spin and catching it skilfully.
“Any particular reason you didn’t feel like using it on us?” I asked.
“I’ve seen you all heaps along the trails. I know you brawl, but none of you would hurt a fly.” She laughed, placing it back into her bag. We all smiled, seemingly glad to have that thing out of sight. “I think we’d better get moving if you guys want to get before dark. I’ll show you my path back.” We all agreed, putting on our clothes over our mostly dry swimwear before setting off up the hill, following Rosemary’s lead. She was quite mesmerising to watch; bare feet treading carefully as she dragged her hands on some of the leaves and tree stumps she passed. Her eyes were focused, looking ahead for the familiar landmarks that told her she was going the right way, and sweetly, she would often look back with a tiny, upturned lip and bright widened eyes to check that we were all following all right. Once we’d reached the main trail to the carpark she hung back, letting my brothers walk in front, leaving me to naturally fall in step with her.
After a little while of silence, I finally built up the courage to speak. “You should come walk with us next time we’re all around. It’s nice to have some different company for a change. You’re cool.”
“I think you’re cool too, and I will definitely see you all again. I’m here most days, so we’re bound to see each other at some point… but I can give you my number if you want to actually set up a time and place?” She said, motioning to her bag.
“Sure. But my phone’s in the car, can I give you mine instead?” She nodded, reaching around and pulling out an old flip phone.
“I know it’s old, but I don’t really need it for anything but texts or calls you know? If it ain’t broke!” She explained while I put in my number and name as ‘Joshua’ and texted ‘:)’ to my phone.
“No I think it’s great,” I said, passing the phone back. “I don’t even know where my phone is half the time… they’re just soul sucking little machines you know, I don't what it near me.” She smiled as I gestured wildly in the air to express my disdain.
“Exactly!” She laughed.
“Anyway, you’ll have to show us some other cool spots around here off-trail. I’m sure you’ve found some. That is, if you’re willing to share.” I pouted a little as I spoke, jokingly.
“I can and I will. Their beauty is too beautiful not to share. Besides, they’ve been hidden long enough, and I’m sure they are sick of me.” She turned to look me in the eye.
“Trees can’t get sick of you!” I said with a furrowed brow and a lopsided smile. How could anyone get sick of you?
“Look around Joshua, Everything’s living! Maybe they have hearts and minds and souls too.” She said, admiring the nature around her with a concerned look before our eyes connected once again. Then, we just continued walking happily. I adored the way she viewed the world.
“See ya rose!” Sam waved as we reached the car park.
“Nice meeting you. Until next time.” Jake saluted.
I smiled. “I’m glad we met Rosemary. I’ll see you soon.”
“Bye Sam! Bye Jake!” She yelled to the others. “Bye Joshua. I’m glad I met you too.” And at that we both grinned before parting ways.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆ Joshua
I decided not to text her that night. As much as I was excited to see her again and make plans, I didn’t want to freak her out. I had a feeling it would happen naturally. And it did. A couple of days later, we went out late one afternoon once Jake finished work at the record store. I noticed her car in the parking lot as we pulled in. We walked one of the shorter tracks since it was pretty late, and as we reached the summit of the track, I felt a bit discouraged that we would find her. We looked around at the view for a while, enjoying the way the wind was a bit stronger and cooler up where the clearing for the summit was. I felt deflated as I couldn’t see her anywhere around us, but just as we started to leave, I felt my phone ring in my pocket. I took it out - it was Rosemary.
“Rosemary?” I said as I pulled the phone to my ear, hoping I was loud enough that my brothers would figure out what was going on.
“Nine o’clock” She said.
“What?”
“Check your nine Joshua.” Rosemary chuckled. I turned around to my left, darting my eyes across the valley and back down the track a bit, but I couldn’t see anything. At my sudden change of direction, the boys were looking too. “Now look up.”
And there she was. Sitting on a high branch of a tree about thirty yards along the path, waving straight at us. We had walked straight underneath her not five minutes ago. She had her camera out, snapping a photo of our shocked faces staring up at her. Rosemary wore her signature blue-jean overalls today along with a white strapless top, she was leaning against the trunk with one leg propped up and the other hanging down.
“You are wild Rosemary June.” I yelled as we ran to her.
“Well I’ll try to be rabid next time!” She said between fits of laughter, carefully climbing down the tree to meet us. “You should have seen your faces!”
“Yeah yeah,” Jake rolled his eyes, “Should we go sit on magnet rock? I think we’ve got time.”
‘“Sure.” “Yep.” “Sounds good!”’ We all replied.
We walked for about ten minutes until we reached the rounded-horseshoe shaped boulder, sitting down in the bowl of it like a couch.
“Explored anywhere else in Frankenmuth so far Rose?” Jake asked as he laid back on the warm surface.
“Nothing past the grocery store to be honest.” She said, “I can’t seem to stop coming here!”
“Then I think we should show you around a bit. Starting Saturday.” Jake stated.
“If you’re free.” I added.
“That I am!” She smiled, “What’s the plan then?”
“Well, we’re playing at the old pub at seven, so If your parents allowed it, we thought you might like to come and watch. Thats one spot in town crossed off the list!” I said.
“Excuse me, if you’re playing pool at a bar I would certainly be playing too, not watching!” She said, eyeing each of us as we tried to conceal our laughter. “What’s so funny? I’ll have you know I have a lot of pool experience.”
“It’s not pool we’re playing Rose, it’s music. We’re in a band.” Jake spoke carefully as we all searched her eyes for some sort of dismissive thought. But her eyes lit up instead.
“Really?” we nodded. “That’s so cool! What kind of music do you play?”
“You’ll have to find out on Saturday!” I announced.
“What about the instruments? Can't you at least tell me that?”
“Mmm.. now that you mention it, I think we'll keep that one a surprise too.”  I replied.
She looked at me with this pouty smile and low-lidded eyes that told me she didn’t mind our bickering.

I walked into the old bar expecting to see the usual Saturday-night crowd for a place like this, but I was shocked instead to see a very large gathering of people, filling the space and favouring the far right corner where I could see a small stage. Wow, okay. These guys must be good. The whole town was basically here, and I was suddenly feeling a bit strange about knowing them. Nonetheless, I ordered a mule from the bar and watched from the only free stool as they started setting up. To my surprise the bartender didn’t mix a virgin mule, he gave me a real one - but I didn’t say anything. Each of the boys were lit up with excitement, and it was wonderful watching them focus on their gear and talking to one another — they were in their element. There was a boy I didn’t know sitting behind the drum kit, which was where I expected Sam to be, but when Sam slid the strap of a bass over his head, it made sense. Still, I wasn’t expecting a four-piece. So as Jake grabbed the electric guitar from behind him, I was shocked to see Josh walk up to the mic stand, twisting a few knobs while looking at the crowd.
He finally met my eyes after a while of looking around and gave me the widest grin I’d seen from him yet. I shot one back with a small wave and he just winked. I was completely giddy to hear them perform now, he was so confident and happy.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆ Joshua
I’d never been this nervous for a performance before. I told myself it was because of a large crowd, but once I spotted Rosemary sitting at the bar, I fatefully accepted the fact it was her making me nervous. She was wearing a white mini tee with a patterned vest overtop, and blue jeans that flared just enough at her boots. She was so cool. What if she doesn’t like it? I thought.
That question shuffled aside the longer I stared at her, because I was excited to perform for her, and because she too looked excited — and… maybe a bit nervous? I sent her a wink to be sure while I finished up fiddling with my mic.

I continued to watch Josh as he turned and put his hand on Jake’s shoulder to whisper something in his ear. Jake looked up with surprise and immediately found me and waved. Sam saw him looking and sent me rock horns as they all got into their places.
The opening riff of ‘Layla’ by Derek and the Dominoes played and I watched as the room came alive. Jake and Sam were shredding it, the drummer was bringing the energy and pounding a beat I could feel in my heart, and Josh — His voice was just something to behold. As a whole they were completely captivating, each born to be onstage and radiating their love in this form. Mid way through the song, Sam left his Bass and sat at the keyboard and started playing the piano section of the song, which they all quietly joined in on to create a vamp below Josh’s speaking.
“Welcome ladies and gentlemen to our show tonight, it’s great to be here with you and to bring you love, peace, and music, I’m Josh, behind me here is Danny,” He said, motioning to the boys, “Up here is Sam, and Jake. We’ll be playing some you know, and some we’ve written, and we hope you enjoy. We are Greta Van Fleet.” He spoke clearly but fast into the mic with barely a pause in the entire speech, and was finally interrupted by a strike of Jakes guitar just as he finished the word ‘fleet’.
“Hey, hey, mama, said the way you move,
Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove,”
Josh suddenly erupted into singing ‘Black Dog’ from Zeppelin IV. If I thought his voice was incredible before I didn’t even have the words to describe it now. Their set was thrilling, from Joplin to Cream, they had the 60s and 70s covered which the audience clearly appreciated. There was not a soul in the venue who wasn’t mouthing the words, singing along, bopping their heads or tapping their foot. They finished on an original which Josh introduced as ‘Safari song’. Josh hadn’t looked at me at all during their set until now, smiling into the lyrics of the song and making eye contact every now and then. I couldn’t help but smile back, and ‘Safari song’ was instantly my favourite song of the night.
“Thank you!” Josh yelled into the mic, eliciting a powerful applause peppered with shouts and whistles as the boys walked off stage. I decided to stay at the bar for a while and let them be, as they were bombarded by old friends and the like to congratulate them on their performance the second they were off the stage. The boys finally found their way to me after talking to basically every single person in the room. Josh immediately pulled me into a tight hug as soon as I stood.
“Hi” he whispered
“Hi” I giggled back. We pulled apart and I went on to hug his brothers and shook hands with their drummer, who introduced himself as Danny.
“You guys were amazing!” I exclaimed as we turned back to the bar for drinks.
“Really? It wasn’t too… I don’t know, old?” Josh asked, looking quite unsure.
“Are you kidding? I knew every word!” he raised his eyebrows, and the boys all looked at me.
“Even Safari song?” Josh broke out in a grin.
“You know what I mean. Play me some Zeppelin and I’m hooked.”
“Well we’re glad. We would have had to give up a really fantastic swimming hole if you didn’t like it.” Jake nudged me on the shoulder.
“You guys are weird.” I said, raising my glass and taking a sip to hide my smile.
The other boys ordered their soft drinks and mock-tails while Josh sat down next to me, eyeing my drink. “Whatcha got there Rosemary?” He said, grabbing the almost empty glass before I could stop him. He smirked cheekily, taking a sip. Josh’s face fell and his eyes almost bugged out of his head, looking back and forth from the drink to me. I slowly pushed a finger to my lips with a knowing glance, trying not to laugh. I folded as he chugged what was left in the glass, and we both laughed at ourselves, eliciting confused looks by the other boys.
“Hey can I get two more of these man?” I said to the bartender with all the confidence I could. Josh couldn’t hold himself together, looking away from the bar to hide his face. The bartender mixed the drinks and placed them in front of us.
“Only one more though, understand? Otherwise I'll tell your mother Kiszka.” He looked serious, but winked at us nonetheless.
“Let’s play pool!” Sam said, and we all followed.
“Get ready to have your ass beat, Jake!” I said.
“We’re not on the same team? Fine, then I get Danny.” Jake retorted.
“H-hhem - We come as a package deal.” Sam said, putting his arm around Danny.
“Ugh Fine.”
I turned to Josh. He was already grabbing us some cues, one of which he threw to me. “Joshua you better be good at this.”
“Have a little faith will ya?” he said, focusing on chalking his cue.
Jake set down the balls and the game began. We were collectively mediocre at playing, though Danny and I seemed to have the upper hand. Jake and Josh were all talk, yelling loudly or saying something right as the other would go to strike. And Sam was hopeless, spending half the time groaning with his head in his hands after aiming at literally nothing and barely hitting the cue ball.
Near the end, we realised we were pretty even, and anyone could win - and it suddenly became the most competitive game of pool I’ve ever played. Snarky comments and celebratory cheers were made play-by-play, and it felt like the world was going to end every time Josh or I missed.
It finally got to a point with one of each ball type left on the table, and it was my turn, meaning I could win the game if I sunk our striped ball. I took a swig of my drink, leaning down low on the table to investigate my options. Josh put his arm around me, coming down to my level to whisper in my ear.
“You got this Rosemary you can win it, I know you can. Are you gonna hit that left there and bounce it off the wall?” As serious as our faces were, I was giddily enjoying this soft moment up close with Josh. I could feel his breath on my neck.
“Yeah but I don’t know if I can do it.” I replied.
“Nah its easy you’ve got it” He stayed low as I moved my cue into position. The other boys were on the opposite end of the table, holding each other and bending down to our level as well. They looked terrified.
“Nervous Rose?” Jake yelled, making them all chuckle.
“Never.” I said, my eyes never leaving the ball. I could hear Josh laughing lightly into my shoulder at my smart-ass response as I took the shot.
It hit perfectly and our winning ball rolled right into the hole below the boys, their heads following it in amazement. They looked up at us in shock before crumbling, dragging their hands down their faces, hitting them on the table and angrily groaning in disappointment.
Josh and I turned and screamed at each other in joy and danced around wildly, then hugged a long, tight embrace. It was warm and unapologetic. Maybe it was the three drinks I had but this was the best hug I’d had in a long time.
Once everyone had settled down, we finished our drinks and decided to head out, so we all grabbed the kit from onstage and started loading it into the back of their van.
“Okay that's everything, we’ll walk you to your car Rose.” Oh shit. It was just then that I realised I really shouldn’t drive myself home. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at Josh, and he seemed to have made the same realization. Jake looked at me with concern. “Do you want a lift home instead?” He asked.
I had to think for a moment - I knew I shouldn’t drive, but it was rude of me to ask for a lift home when as far as they were concerned, I didn’t need it. After a while I reluctantly nodded to Jake. We walked to their car and Jake started getting in the passenger seat, waiting for Josh to get into the driver's side.
“I can’t drive Jake I’m too tired.” He said as he rounded the truck to push Jake across the bench seat towards the wheel.
“Yeah, yeah,” Jake shoved Josh in the shoulder and got situated, starting the car. I tried to conceal my laugh as Josh glanced back at me.
I quietly gave directions as we drove through the town. Once we arrived on my street, I said “Here's fine,” making Jake pull up.  I hopped out and stood at their open passenger window. “Thanks for a great night guys, can’t wait to hear you play again.” I said, smiling at everyone.
“Thanks for coming Rosemary.” Josh gave me a knowing glance with a bit of cheekiness to it.
“Bye Rose!”
“Bye!”
I hit the roof of the van before standing back to watch them drive off.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆ Joshua
I watched in the side mirror as Rosemary walked down the street a bit; sitting down on the porch of one of the houses instead of going inside. Strange.

As a small time member of this community i just really want to say, any and everyone participating in all of the drama going on right now is just as bad as you all claim ZV to be. Lol. I’m just gonna keep it a buck.
Y’all have deluded yourselves into thinking you’re making the community a better place by participating in this witch hunt for ZV and anyone she’s associated with, but you’re not. In reality you are ALL making this community, just as uncomfortable and toxic as you claim her to be making it.
Making everyone feel like they have to choose a side and kiss someone’s ass in order not to be dragged into this mess. It seems like this happens every year. Someone big comes in here and makes a stink about ZV, and then everyone and their mom starts slandering her and anyone who associates with her.
I understand that a lot of you guys have personal issues with that girl, but it really grinds my gears the way you guys like to bring it up and make it seem like you’re doing it for the good of the community because in reality you aren’t helping the community at all, you’re just contributing to what makes it a hateful cesspool, and if you’re too blind to see that, then you’re just as bad as you all claim her to be and that’s just the reality of the situation.
It also becomes really obvious what I’m saying is true because this all started when VS got banned on Nexsus for making multiple accounts and leaving nasty comments under peoples mod pages about ZV and then like clockwork this account that hasn’t posted since September of last year decides to come back in full circle and give a platform to the people who want to all of a sudden air their grievances that they’ve been sitting on for x amount of months. Got people like pinky dude, airing his beef with her from over a year ago for what reason other than to fuel the fire? See what i mean? Notice a pattern?
I don’t care who gets called out for doing what I don’t pay enough attention to give any validation to the ZV claims and what not and I truly don’t give a fuck, even though I know a lot of people would interpret this as me defending her. My only point is you are ALLLL awful. You ALLLL make this a miserable place to be by participating in this is never ending cycle of toxicity.
TLDR;
When you point a finger, there’s three more pointing back at you. Dont throw stones and then hide your hands- Don’t be a hypocrite you can’t call out ZV for harassing and bullying people and then get on here and do the same thing while pretending you’re doing it for the good of the community and us little people.
So what would you do about her? Staying silent is just going along with unacceptable behavior. We're not talking about someone who just got out of their teens—this is a grown adult who knows exactly what she's doing and saying. Your attitude is basically "Get harassed and keep quiet because if you call it out you're the problem." It's people like you that make so many victims afraid to seek help or never talk about what really bothers or hurts them. Do you know how many people Zwei has hurt and affected in this community? Do yourself a favor and ask at least 10 random people who've been in the fandom for a while and are somewhat known. I bet you that out of 10, 8 of them will tell you something about it.

I do one hundred percent take blurb requests, Nonny! I'm sorry your shoulder is hurting you after your booster, but I'd be happy to do some Keevan fluff for you!! Love those porple-eyed space lemur dudes! 💜 My apologies for taking so long to get this out. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: Descriptions of an injury, but other than that it’s all fluff. Hurt/comfort fluff, human/Vorta cuddling (if that even needs to be a warning), brief mentions of vaccines but no descriptions.

Keevan had been reading in your shared quarters when you came in and practically collapsed onto the sofa. That was...unlike you. Humans may not move as fluidly as the Vorta, but you were usually a bit more delicate. Setting aside the PADD containing the novel he’d been reading, Keevan stood and moved silently to sit by your side.
“What’s wrong, my little human? You seem agitated,” he murmured running his fingers gently through your hair over your scalp. The hum he managed to pull from your throat - troubled though it was - sent a small bolt of satisfaction tingling pleasantly down the Vorta’s spine. Keeping his voice aloof as he nearly always tried to appear, he let his eyes skim the length of your body as he spoke. “Use your words, lovely. Unfortunately, I can’t read your mind.”
“It’s my shoulder. I had to get a ton of booster injections for my trip to Cardassia in a few days. One of them is making my arm feel like it’s going to fall off at the joint. Julian said the feeling will pass, but that it would be sore for a few days.” Ah, that explained how exhausted you looked. Keevan noticed the way you were resting your weight slightly on one side rather than the other.
"Could he give you nothing for the discomfort?”
“No. There are so many different vaccines in my system that any painkiller I took would react with at least five of them and I’d have to take them over again.” Well, Keevan didn’t like the sound of you being in pain for that long.
After a moment’s silence, he stood and lifted you in his arms bridal style. He carried you into your shared bedroom and laid you gently on the bed, helping you out of your boots and uniform. Taking extra care not to jostle your arm, he stripped you down to just your regulation undershirt and underwear and went over to the replicator.
When he returned, he coaxed you into his arms - not that it was ever particularly difficult to do so - and held the ice pack gently against your sore arm. At the little sigh of relief you let out, Keevan allowed himself a satisfied smile.
“It may not be the most technologically advanced solution, but this should help reduce the inflammation.” When he’d gotten together with you, he’d made a point of looking up some basic medical information about Humans just in case he ever needed to take care of you.
You looked up at him in surprise, and with a watery smile you kissed his cheek. Keevan’s face heated up with a lavender blush as you thanked him, and all of a sudden, his research seemed like the best thing he’d ever done. After you’d drifted to sleep, the Vorta placed a gentle, tender kiss on your forehead.

(This is a continuation of my previous post. There will be swearing in this AU because I’m making it accurate to teenagers now lol)
Gus just had to make sure Matt was ok, considering he just fell flat on his face. The conversation went a little something like this.
Gus: Oh my Titan.
Matt: Shit-
Gus: A-Are you ok? Sir??
Matt: Sir? Who’re you calling ‘sir’, dude. You look like you’re my age.
Gus: W-Well I don’t know your name so- just answer the question. Are you ok? Do you have a concussion?
Matt, sarcastically: Oh yeah. I’m so concussed right now.
Gus: you know that isn’t very funny. I genuinely thought you got hurt.
Matt: I’m kinda used to it. Sure it hurts a little and my hands are bleeding but, eh, I’ve been skating for years so I’ve kinda just gotten used to it.
Gus: O-OH MY TITAN- Wait a second, please
Matt: ????
Gus, taking out bandages and an antiseptic wipe: this might sting, but I just wanna get the rocks and dirt out so it doesn’t get infected.
Matt: seriously dude it’s ok-
Gus: I’m not taking no for an answer. I will not be seeing you in the healing room tomorrow at school because your hand gets infected.
Matt:…fine.
Gus started cleaning Matt’s hand up, and there was a awkward silence at the start before Matt had some unanswered questions he’d been keeping inside for a while during their conversation.
Matt: I do have a few questions, hope you don’t mind me asking you them.
Gus: Uh, sure, so long as it’s not ‘what’s your credit card details’. *laughs*
Matt: Nah. Just- one: why are you here at the skatepark? You don’t seem very ready to skate in your clothes. Not that there’s anything wrong with your clothes, just that they seem like they’d be restrictive when it comes to skating. And two: why do you have a first aid kit chilling in your bag.
Gus: Well, one: I don’t skate, I was just on my way home and decided to take a detour to walk through the park, which the skate park is attached to. And two: I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but that *points to his bike* is my bike. And with my height, I fall off it pretty easily.
Matt snickered slightly at his response, not in a mean way, just genuinely finding what Gus said a bit entertaining.
Gus: There! Now your hands are all bandaged up.
Matt fiddles his fingers around. The bandage was surprisingly comfortable and it didn’t feel sore at all. He let out a small ‘huh’ as he admired Gus’ handy work.
Gus: I hope you don’t injure yourself again while you’re skating, if you continue to do it today, that is.
Matt: I don’t usually injure myself, I just got startled by the sudden noise of you gasping. *laughs slightly*
Gus: Sorry about that! I just thought it was really cool how you just- defied gravity like that.
Matt laughed at him again. He really did find this conversation rather entertaining.
Matt: It’s just physics, and skating I guess.
He messed with his board a bit.
There was a silence between them while Gus packed away his things, putting his bag on his back as he stood up.
Gus: Oh! I-I’m Gus, by the way. Well, my full name is Augustus Porter, but everyone calls me Gus.
Matt kinda started up at him as he went to fetch his bike.
Matt: I’m Matt. Matt Tholomule. People just call me Matt.
Gus, standing with his bike: It was nice to meet you, Matt. Hope skating goes well!
Matt: Y-yeah. It was nice to meet you too. And thank you for the…uhm…the…
Matt kinda wiggled his fingers around to indicate to his hand.
Gus: Oh! Yeah! No problem! I’ll Seeya tomorrow, Matt.
Matt: Seeya
And thus that’s how they first met. Though this wouldn’t be the last time they’d ever see each other.

One Piece Treasures: Father! Roronoa Zoro Slightly Long Story
Two Deadly Sins
(Once again, just for my little sister! Hope you all enjoy this one too!)
Tumblr media
“Aunt Nami! Let’s go! Let’s go see over there together!” You cheer happily, waving your pointing arm in which directed to the nearby fleet market, in hope the beloved woman you stood besides would notice it. Nami cheered as her eyes lightened up at the sight of a fleet market in this small village.
Nami hoisted you up to sit on her hip and then pumped her fist to hype you up, which you mimicked and pumped your own fist. “Yes, little Tsuki! Let’s go—“ Nami’s sentence was cut off by a suddenly appearing Zoro, the man glared death lasers at Nami as you nervously giggled pat your father
“H-hi, Daddy” You say softly as Nami, after recovering from the brief scare, rolled her eyes with a ‘tt’ at the taller swordsman. “Hello, little Strawberry. Where are you and Aunt Nami going?” Zoro asked, voice tinting in a strong waft of protectiveness, he wasn’t okay with Nami attempting to take his daughter away without saying a single word to him. Permission is very important but what does Nami know about basic manners?
“Me and Tsuki are gonna go see the markets! What do you think?” Nami barked back defensively, ready to flick the swordsman’s forehead to make him back up. “And you haven’t told me that you’re taking my daughter?” Zoro asked firmly, hoping the emphasis would actually enter Nami’s head and not just fly past.
“You want to know? Fine. I’m taking Tsuki to the markets, goodbye” Nami firmly responds, pushing past Zoro with you still on her hip and huffing out frustrated, you leant up and waved over her shoulder at your father as he gently waved back with a equally irritated expression. He could only hope Nami will bring you back to home in one piece
It felt like a second went by where you were waving goodbye to your father and then suddenly, you snapped back to reality to find yourself following Nami through a glamorous but small store full of pretty jewellery. Necklaces, earring, bracelets, all of a girl’s dream under this single roof. Nami broke you out of your train of thought when she stopped
“What do you think, Tsuki? Pretty?” Nami asks, swiping a glittery diamond speckle-decorated golden pendant off it’s navy blue display box and holding it over her collarbone, she crouched down and laughed lightly as you grazed your fingers over it. “It fits you well!” You chirp happily, Nami felt her heart flip. You’re so cute, she smiled widely as she heavily considered ‘buying’ the jewellery piece
“Excuse me, Ma’am” Nami jolted in surprise at the sudden booming voice, you immediately clung to her hip after basically leaping at her. “Yes?” Nami responded, voice expressing annoyance, what did this dude want now?
“Could you please not handle the products? Their display only” The shopkeeper remarked calmly and politely. Nami rolled her eyes with a soft sigh, her hand clutching the gorgeous pendant as she stood up, forcing you to let go and out of your sight, seemingly put the pendant back to place as the shopkeeper silently returned to his business behind the counter. She held out her hand for you and lead you through the jewellery store, her colourful eyes suddenly spotting a golden glimmer underneath the shopkeeper’s sleeve
Tempting but not today
Nami helped you out of the mini store and into the line flowing into the wave of crowd again. “Tsuki. Look at this~” She hummed, leaning down again and suddenly materialising that same golden pendant you could have swore she put away. No, she didn’t! She stole it! Stealing! Your mouth was agape in pure shock as Nami put it back into her pant pocket with a cheeky pretty smile.
Nami swooped you up cheerfully and chirped in delight. “Want to go get some pretty clothes over there?” Nami asked you in a careless tone as you thought intently about her request. Stealing is a bad thing! Your father always said it was! But Aunt Nami just did it! So, maybe, it isn’t that bad. Is it? You eventually nod in slight hesitation as Nami cheers happily once again and sprung off her heels towards the clothing store she pointed out
*CUT TO THE LATE AFTERNOON*
Nami giggled cheekily, putting you down onto the ground as she carefully buried all the stolen trinkets in her pant pockets so they wouldn’t be noticeable nor hearable to the crew. You may have gone a bit overboard with Nami during you two’s little shopping trip and stole a lot of pretty things; jewelries, hair accessories, little dolls and a cute fancy dress you liked. Before you could approach the all-so-familiar massive pirate ship.
Nami stopped the walk, dropped to her knees and turned you around so you’d meet her eyes. “All the fun we had today, Tsuki. It must stay between us! Don’t let your Dad know okay! What happened today will only be between Nami and Tsuki, this is our secret~” Nami explained with a soft voice, holding her pinkie out to wait for you to cement the promise. You nod and link pinkies with a slightly nervous smile
“Great, I believe in you, little princess! C’mon, let’s go to the ship!” Nami chirped, taking your hand and leading you to the tall flat wooden pane attached to the vibrant pirate ship. Zoro almost threw himself over the ship’s railing at the sound of voices and his eyes glowed happily at the sight of his child. He missed you so much, he immediately hopped onto the wooden pane but stayed put so he could meet you and Nami at the top.
“Little strawberry!” Zoro called out, you cheered back at the sight of your father as you pulled Nami up the wooden pane quicker. Zoro swept you off your feet the moment you reached the railing and nuzzled your nose against his. Nami’s face scrunched in slight disgust as she hopped onto the main deck. She was still kinda grossed out by how affectionate and emotional Zoro is with you.
“I missed you, little Strawberry. Did you have fun?” Zoro asked as you nodded frantically, the promise you made with Nami came flooding in as you felt a thin sheet of sweat beading down your neck. “Yes! Me and Nami— we checked out shops and played together!” You responded, a bit uneasy but Zoro didn’t seem to notice as he carried you off onto the 1st floor of the Thousand Sunny as the crew begun setting up the ship for sailing and Luffy gave the thumbs up. In no time, the Thousand Sunny was gliding over the deeper waters, saying goodbye to the island you had so much fun on
*ONE MORE CUT*
“Where did you get this dress from, Strawberry? It’s gorgeous” Zoro asked, helping you fix up the colourful and fluffy dress so you and him could attend dinner with the crew. You immediately tensed up whilst Zoro adjusted the shoulder fluff. You knew that you could not say the truth of how you got it so your mouth fumbled over itself desperately to come up with a excuse your sleuth of a father would believe.
“Aunt Nami b-bought it as a present! She said she wanted to make up for my birthday!” You chirp out, so nervous that spaghetti may fall out of your mouth for your sins. Stealing and lying, how horrible
“Nami wanted to buy something? That’s a new. I figured the present she got you was fine” Zoro commented back, picking up the cute pair of slippers he bought you and waiting patiently for you to put them on yourself
“W-well! Clearly, she didn’t think so! Aunt Nami does change her mind a lot!” You remarked quicker than expected, anxiety rising each second as Zoro titled his head in confusion before his fingers went to work to tie the ribbons around your lower shin and form a cute bow on the backs
“Well, yes. That is quite true for your Aunt Nami” Zoro responds, brushing away some of those stray hairs out of your face before picking you up and putting you onto both of his shoulders. “You look beautiful, Strawberry” Zoro softly complimented you, his genuine smile made your little heart ping in raw pain. Lying to him was so painful
Before Zoro could lead the two of you out of the familiar bedroom, Luffy barraged in with the wind of chaos following him. His eyes gleamed in joy at you and cupped his hands to his cheek with blush dusting. “Awww, Shimmy! Where did you get that hairband from?”
Luffy asked, just awing in delight at your cute outfit and approaching your father with spring in his steps. You snapped on the spot, out of extreme levels of guilt, you eventually screamed out of everything that was bottled up and the sound of heavy sobbing made Zoro pull you off, putting you down on your feet and holding you by your shoulders
“I stole this dress! I stole this hairband! I’m a bad evil person! I’m so sorry!” You cried helplessly, almost falling to the floor but your father reacted so much quicker and helped you down to your feet but you crumbled like paper onto your knees, your face drenched in waterfalls of tears.
“What do you mean you stole those?” Zoro asked as you whimpered at his big fingers gently brushing away the salty droplets. The crying made your vision a bit blurry but you could see the concern on Zoro’s face
“I stole them! I didn’t buy them! Aunt Nami said we could steal them! So we did!” You cried out, feeling all the more worse for letting your secret spill. You’re a horrible friend, for not keeping your promises! But the guilt was overwhelming, you couldn’t keep it quiet anymore and it was all piled on by lying to your beloved father about the cute frilly dress you wore
Anger veins ran across his beefy forearms and forehead. Zoro was furious… but not at you, at Nami. The swordsman stood up from his crouched position and quietly stomped over to the dinning room with Luffy quickly sweeping you up and following along in curiosity of what would happen, dragging you as your body fluttered like a flag.
Zoro flung the colourful striped door open, making all the crew that were peacefully eating dinner jump out of their spots. “You” Zoro hissed furiously, eyes shooting daggers at Nami who calmly ate atop a big barrel in the corner of the room. “What?” The woman barked back, annoyed by being interrupted during her well-needed meal
“Do you want to go right now? Cause I’ll gladly have them up. Who do you think you are. Daring to influence my daughter” Zoro’s voice was laced in deadly poisons, he wouldn’t let this one slide this time. His little princess has been tainted by this monstrous witch and he’s gonna set it all straight
“What? Oh… you mean that” Nami chirped, putting down her half-empty plate as she hops off the barrel. “What’s the big deal, it’s stolen products that were already stolen. She won’t die if she has a little bit of fun” Nami remarks confidently, hands on her hips and eyes locked on the fuming moss-hair. She saw no issue at all with having you help her steal but Zoro was starting to see red at her lack of care. Telling his little one a lie is one thing, he isn’t okay with but trying to convince his one and only love that stealing is okay?
Unforgivable
“Don’t you dare try act like my daughter is some stolen trinket of yours and that you can do whatever you want with her. You’re lucky I am even—“ Zoro’s anger rant was cut off by Nami waving her hand out dismissively and looking over at her disregarded plate in annoyance, she’s hungry.
“Okay. Discussion over, can you leave? I want to finish eating” Nami remarked with such little care, she really didn’t see his point of view but she didn’t want to think, she wants to eat
“No! In-fact” Zoro huffed, snatching Nami’s wrist in his calloused palm and pulling her towards him to gain back her full attention with zero effort. The woman retaliated loudly and swatted at his beefy forearm as she roared for him to let go. He ignored her and ignored the loud sound of Luffy aimlessly entering the room in pure confusion with you dangling over his shoulder like a unworn shirt. “You’re gonna apologise to Shimotsuki, you damn brat” Zoro barked, letting go of her wrist and crossing his arms with a distasteful expression
“I don’t have to do monkey’s a**!” Nami yelled back, Luffy’s eyes and ears perked at his first name floating around in the air as you gasped at the sound of swearing, Zoro retaliated in no time and rose his voice in pure uncontrollable fury
“You know you’re guilty as flippin’ charged for daring to bash my daughter into thinking stealing is okay! Just admit it!”
“Didn’t do smack! Shut your damn mouth and leave me alone!”
“Apologise to my daughter or you’ll never get the chance to go on ‘shopping trips’ with her again!”
“Shut up! You goddamn moron!” Nami hissed furiously in the most frustrated tone possible, flaring her most dangerous weapon over her head, her palm. “Stop controlling her! She’s allowed to do whatever she wants!” Nami aggressively scolds, walking over and hitting Zoro over the top of his head, making him lean down in conjunction to the hard smack.
You nervously giggled at the sight in front of you. Aunt Nami making your father basically regret his every word by pummelling his head in. You couldn’t help but just watch the wild scene clung to Uncle Luffy’s side

Mikey (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Oneshot - Extra
Tumblr media
"Vigilantes at it again, it seems our city has some guardian angels looking out for us. This is April O Neal with the 7'O clock update."
Your eyes are fixated on the small tv screen.
"Here you go kid."
Taking the sub from the vendor, you pass him your money. He takes it with thanks, and just as you turn to head to school, someone on a skateboard rolls past. Your bag is snatched right up, and you yell.
"H-Hey!!"
You scream, and people somewhat part as he rides down the road. You chase after him with all you have. Gritting your teeth, you try to match pace, but it's almost impossible. Your breathing is labored as you make each intricate turn and twist to keep him in your sights. He makes a sudden turn down a narrow alley and you frown. You hear a grunt just as you break the corner. The culprit is lying on the ground unconscious. You lift your head hesitantly when you make out the cheer,
"That's what you get! Crime doesn't pay."
The voice sounds pretty confident. You just gape. It takes him a while to notice. When he does. The little dance he's doing stops almost immediately.
"MIKEY!!"
"It's a yell from three other voices, and he turns.
Once again, this discovery was not supposed to happen.
"Uhhh Hi dude."
He winces right after, like he expects a scream, but none follows, so he opens his eyes slowly, peeking at you. A part of you is convinced that it's not real. Because a year has passed since you used your power. Turns out your quirky teacher was right about everything. Time did in fact reset. All the things you'd done prior to meeting Mikey and his brothers had been erased. In a way, you started over. You never pursued the boys.
All you needed was to know they were safe. You did. Since then you have stayed on track. There was still a lot of knowledge you lacked about time travel. So you stuck to your normal life. You told yourself if you were meant to meet the boys, it would happen. You wouldn't go looking. Not this time.
But here he stood. Right in front of you. Healthy, happy.
Alive.
"Guys, I think I broke her."
As if summoned they all fall in, weapons raised of course. Just in case.
"Beat it." Raph hissed. Leo gave him a shove.
"We're the good guys." He reminded with a huff. Raph just grumbled.
Donnie pulled out his device, giving your body a scan.
"Heart rate is greatly elevated. Pupils dilated, respiration is skyrocketing. Mikey what did you do?"
"I just said hi I swear." He defends.
Tears began to well in the corner of your eyes. Looking down at your hands, you flex your fingers.
"It's real."
Not some delirious illusion. Biting your lip, you will allow your body to move forward, and the boys prepare for the worst. You walk past the three of them, and Mikey is unprepared when you grab him by the straps of his shoulder. You pull down, and your lips press to his. His body is frozen and the rest of them just stare with wide eyes. You don't let him up, not for a good few seconds. When you finally pull back, Mikey's mouth is slightly parted, and he looks disheveled by what has just occurred.
"Ummm...you're welcome??" He mumbles.
You smile, one that catches him by surprise. Quite similar to the kiss. But something about the light in your eyes feels warm, familiar. It's when your head lulls that he tunes back in. You hunch forward, and he catches you before you hit the floor. Mikey lifts you into his arms.
"Why do I feel like we've met before.."
He's positive he would never forget someone like you. Especially after that kiss.
"Damn, guess ya got more games than we thought."
"Not the time Raph!!" Leo shouts.
It seems this is another situation he'll have to clean up.
~~
"I love you too."
Those are the words that make you jolt awake.
"Hey take it easy."
Your head turns, and the dark hair isn't that strange. You aren't sure how you got here, but you know that face.
"Hi I'm April."
"I know." You turn your head, searching the area. It's obvious they brought you here after you fainted. It's an apartment. April's home.
"That was a little weird."
You've never had a fainting spell like that before. Right now though, that isn't your biggest concern.
"Where are they?" April becomes tense.
"I found you passed out. Figured I'd do my civic duty." You frown. She's trying to cover it up. You know better. When you stand, she expects you to give more of a fight.
"Wait, are you just going to leave?"
"Yes." You walk out the apartment, checking your watch. It's already pretty late.
"Maybe it was just a dream." You brush your fingers along your lips.
That kiss felt real. But maybe this is the way your brain is trying to cope. It's a bit disheartening.
Looks like you were back to square one.
~
It takes a few minutes to get back to your apartment. You don't want to sit around with your thoughts. So you get busy with unnecessary cleaning. For the most part it works. The last of your tasks is the trash. You grab the bag, heading for the dumpster. When you get to the sheltered area, you toss it in, eyes lifting as you stare at the sky. Another deep sigh, and you look down at your palm. You want nothing more than to run off to a time where you can be with him.
"How do you know me?"
You flinch at the voice. In the shadows, a figure walks out. But it's not what you expect. More importantly. That voice is definitely...
"Mikey..?"
It's a male, but you take notice of the bright blond hair and blue eyes. He has a similar stature of what Mikey would be, mutant or not. But this form, it confuses you.
"Leo told me not to come looking for you, but I need to know. Why did you kiss me, why do I feel like we know each other?"
This isn't territory you're familiar with either. But Mr. Miller's words echo.
"Time has a way of correcting itself."
He was right. You wish there was some way you could award that genius of a man. Because it appears time has changed, along with the reality you once lived in. You'd activated some sort of alternative by going back. One that seems better than the last. Because in this instance, the boys are human, as well as mutants.
"I'm.."
Was it safe to even tell him?
There's not much you can say, and despite your best attempts, you begin crying.
Mikey looks somewhat panicked, and he rushes forward.
"H-Hey I'm sorry!"
He's moving a bit frantically, and when he places his hands on your shoulder to calm you down, your entire body relaxes. He notices, and those pretty blue hues connect with yours. Mikey isn't sure what move to make. You look so innocent, so sad. He wants to get rid of that expression permanently. He's not sure why, but he leans in. Cautiously.
The closer he gets the faster your pulse races. You both meet in the middle and you let out a sound of utter content. Your hands grip into his t-shirt as you pull him as close as your body will allow. Mikey wraps his arms around, welcoming every desperate touch. It all feels a bit hurried. Your breaths are labored each time you part and rejoin. Mikey is the one who pulls back after a lengthy amount of kisses.
"Wait...wait..."
He's still trying to gather himself. You're panting heavily, but you don't release your hold. This seems so crazy, but when you look back at him, he swallows at the desire. Your pupils are dilated. Lips still partially parted. Leo did tell him to stay away, but how can he when you're looking at him this way.
"Can we...get to know each other?"
He wasn't sure your eyes could get any brighter than they were before, but they do.
"I'd just feel better knowing that we- woah!" You hug him happily.
"I'd love to." You coo into his ear.
"Fudgecakes.."
He wills himself not to react, because that was a little too heated, even for him.
The king of flirting.
"O-Okay then." He mutters.
A new start to a different path, you can't wait.

“Uh- daddy? Where are you?” Fave called out into the yellow, creepy hallways. Did she get lost again? Not exactly. See, this time, it wasn’t her fault, The studios’ embodiment of Satan himself decided to just disappear out of thin fucking air.
For once, Ink here changed. From what was a 7 feet monster, came down to… 3 feet? Hard to tell.
Finally, his eyes could be seen. Toon eyes, a small bow and gloves, nothing like his other form, the terrifying one. He looked more… approachable.
He peered out from behind a corner, where he was in Fave’s line of sight. Small and tubby, he clumsily approached Fave. Fave, noticing the small movement from slightly in front of her, widened her eyes out of curiosity. She was wary of the creature, of course, from her dad’s words to “trust no one”.
Would she go against it? Maybe. It’s a close “maybe” to a definite “yes”. But she understood why he was so wary.
Right, I’m straying.
Well, the small toon peered at Fave from a distance, neither of them moving. He was harmless, in this form, at least.
Shakily, Fave asked, “You’re not… gonna hurt me, are you?”
The toon shook his head, showing he meant no harm.
Still afraid, Fave took hesitant steps towards him. Slowly, she inched towards the rather small toon, who stood there, bravely, since, well, what was there to be afraid of? She’s a fucking child, why- why would he even fear-
Point was, he never budged.
Fave finally approached him, with a certain level of caution. When she finally came to the conclusion that he had no intentions of harming her, she let down her guard and let the little guy come closer to her.
She was rather small, but Bendy was a little shorter than her, his head tilted up when looking at her, it was different now. Bendy surely wasn’t used to this angle, usually he would be the one much, much taller than her, but now where was he? Head up, it made his neck feel weird. He wasn’t used to looking upwards at anyone, honestly.
He was deep in thought, when a sudden small pair of arms wrapped around his small figure.
Yeah, this was definitely very weird. Her arms would not even be able to fully wrap around his leg, and here she was, hugging his entire body.
A little freaked out, he hesitantly returned the display of affection, awkwardly patting her back.
Sensing the small bit of awkwardness between them, Fave pulled away, but he latched onto her.
He was never a clinger, but maybe just this once, he could let it slide.
Smiling, Fave once again started to hug him, so he wouldn’t feel (too) awkward again. God damn, she was sweet.
The cartoon in her arms wanted to lick her, it was his Ink Demon instincts, I guess. Honestly, no one knows what goes on inside the poor dude’s mind. Lick her? No, that’s weird, that’s only for his demonic side. What- bite her? Ouch. Uh- kiss her? No idea.
To be fair, he… doesn’t have lips. Neither are his teeth very, well, you know. Easing? Calming? You get my point.
He gently pressed his lips against her soft cheek, giving it a quick kiss. Fave found it adorable, and squeezed him a little tighter. After getting the hang of it, he kissed her again, repeatedly. It was like licking her repeatedly.
As new as this was to the little girl, she lacked affection. I mean, she did receive some, but there was only so much she could get inside a cold, depressing studio and a demon for a dad.
Thus, she accepted it all, giggling softly with each feathery kiss.
This was no longer the Ink Demon, it was Bendy. In this state, at least.
Alas, all good things must come to an end… or whatever that quote is.
“YOU LITTLE BRAT! GET OVER HERE!” A shrill voice shrieked from behind Fave.
Oh, not that bitch again.
Guess who it was. Guess, I dare you.
Right, it’s Alice, the whore (if you read my last fic on this AU).
Bendy pushed himself out of Fave’s arms, begrudgingly. Growling lowly, he started to return back into his other form, and no, I will not give you the details. Fave just sat there… questioning whatever the fuck just happened. The adorable toon was her father? No freaking way.
Upon seeing the demon, Alice knew she fucked up and fled. Pussy.
“You’re the little guy?” Fave was really surprised, as you can see.
The demon nodded.
“Why did you kiss me?” She asked.
“Well, those small teeth can’t eat you so that was… a taste test.” His response was weird.
“I don’t believe you.” Fave grinned, completely seeing through him.
Oh well. The demon better have better lies next time then.

Drabble requests.. 👀
Jack decides to talk to Alex about the stage kisses they have been having on the last tour because more than once Alex has turned and kissed him on the mouth and usually stage kisses in the past haven’t been reciprocated.
It’s been happening a lot, Jack’s noticed.
It started as stage banter, Jack would kiss Alex on the cheek, then go back to his side of the stage like nothing happened.
But then Alex started to turn to meet Jack’s lips.
Then the kisses got longer, and longer, and more intense.
Once they had a full blown make out session with tongue and everything.
It’s been eating away at Jack, getting more and more obvious with each passing set. Until one day, it stops.
Alex doesn’t turn to meet him. He just goes right back into the next verse, and Jack goes back to his side of the stage.
Except this time, it feels like a big deal.
After the set, Jack stops Alex, just before he exists the stage. He nods toward the hallway, the universal signal for “come with me.”
Alex follows, curious but not anxiously so. Jack often asks Alex to meet him after the set, usually for drinks or to meet some guy promising free weed.
The weed is never actually free, and if it is, it’s not good weed.
But Alex remains curious nonetheless.
They end up outside, just behind the venue. There’s no drinks or any dudes selling giving away free weed.
Just Jack and Alex, which immediately tells Alex something is seriously wrong.
“Can I ask you something?” Is never a good sign, especially not from Jack. Jack will usually just blurt out whatever question with no regard for context or anything, so when he asks, it means it’s really serious.
Alex responds with a simple, “Yeah, of course,” but what he really wants to ask is “What’s wrong?”
“It’s just, well… we’ve been kissing on stage a lot, and that’s cool and all, I don’t mind, it’s kind of nice, but today you didn’t kiss back like usual. I just wanted to make sure everything was okay.” Jack waits then, hoping Alex will understand the silent question that remains unasked.
Suddenly thankful for the darkness outside, Alex flushes, quickly regretting every decision he’s ever made until now.
His answer could make or break his relationship with Jack, platonic or otherwise.
“Oh, well uh…” It’s not that there’s anything wrong, it’s that Alex is prone to this stupid little thing called feelings and he’s trying to save them both the hassle.
“It’s okay if you don’t want me to kiss you on stage anymore,” Jack says casually, though a small part of him is dying inside. “It’s really not a big deal.”
Why does that phrase feel like a punch to the gut?
“It’s not that…” Alex isn’t really sure what he should say, or if he should say anything at all. “It’s kind of the opposite actually.”
Jack blinks, confused now. “You.. want me to keep kissing you?” But then why would Alex suddenly stop acknowledging Jack when he does it?
Alex nods, adrenaline coursing through him as his heart pounds in his chest. “Yeah, actually,” he continues. “Maybe offstage too.”
Too bold! Abort! Abort! Abort!
Now Jack is really confused. “But… why? I mean, that’s cool too, I don’t mind, but we don’t really have to entertain fans offstage.”
Oh, he’s real dumb then.
“Dammit, Jack, I’m trying to tell you I like you!”
The younger man startles, but only because of Alex’s sudden shift in tone. “Well, yeah, obviously, we’re best friends. I like you too-“
“Fuck, you’re dense.” So Alex gets forgets trying to explain it, and attempts to show Jack instead. He grabs the guitarist by the collar of his shirt and pulls him in for a real kiss, all messy and heated and everything Alex was too scared to show him during the set.
Then they both stumble away, eyeing each other like a pair of wolves, circling each other, waiting for the other to attack first.
They pause for a moment, just processing what this would mean for them, for the band.
Then they’re kissing again, like none of it ever mattered to begin with.

✨ //just reposting my old mini fic {based/inspired by that one train scene from the joker movie} that i wrote on my old blog, don’t mind me ✨
He’s sitting in silence on the train. At least, that’s what it would look like to anyone who glanced at him. Inside his head, there’s a multitude of voices, all different tones and volumes. It’s driving him MAD, causing him physical pain, migraines that rival any kind he’s ever had in the past.
Just a few days ago he was tied to a chair in a shoddy building he called home, surrounded by…himself. The clones he had created with his quirk, the ones that had once served under him and obeyed his every command, rebelling, arguing over who should be in charge. Who was who. Who was REAL. The rebellion had escalated, it had turned into a bloodbath, a massacre, where Jin was forced to watch himself die by his own hands over, and over
  And over
Just thinking about it caused the gash on his forehead to ache, terrible home-done stitches still bloody and sore, running across in a desperate attempt to hold himself together. He was probably an odd sight, sitting there alone in worn sweatpants and a dirty shirt, paper bag over his head that had clearly been there for awhile now, it’s a wonder he hasn’t been stopped yet…
No one had offered him help, no heroes rushing to see if he was okay. Aside from a few whispers, and one odd drunk, no one had even bothered. He’d been avoided, written off as some crazy stranger.
Maybe he was.
‘I’m not crazy. Yeah you are. I’m perfectly okay, it’s fine. I’m going insane, I can tell it.’ He’s arguing with himself mentally, looking down at his hands between the small crack of the brown bag he wore. His hands? They seemed to be, but he can’t tell anymore. How did he know? He’d seen himself die so many times, it had been so hard to keep up during all of the chaos. What did the clones feel like when they existed, did THEY know they weren’t real?
Was he even real? Or was he a clone? If he was, would he even know? His hands are shaking at the thought. What if he wasn’t real? One wrong move, one wrong shot and he’d just…disappear, like all of the rest.
‘I don’t want to get hurt again. I don’t want to disappear. It’ll be easier to just let it happen. If you’re a clone then it’s bound to happen. No it’s not.’ “Shut the HELL Up.”
He hadn’t meant to say that last bit out loud, in fact, Jin hadn’t even noticed he had until her heard someone else talking.
“You fuckin’ talking to us?”
Shit. He didn’t notice he wasn’t ALL alone. There had been a few other young men, three from the sound of things, that had been on the far side of the train, joking around and being obnoxious, pushing each other around and talking smack to a fourth person who was trying to dodge out.
shit shit shit. “No man, I wasn’t. Who else was i fuckin’ talking to?” No no no, shut up. He can hear them getting up and FEAR grips his entire being. He’s TIRED, his whole body hurts. He doesn’t want any trouble.
“Better watch yourself man. I’ll kick your ass.”
“Look,I don’t want to start anything. Just try it, i’ll fuck up you an’ your little friends. Stop SAYING that.” He can hear footsteps towards him and suddenly the bag is TORN from his head, he’s face to face with another young man. There’s two other goons behind him, one glaring and the other looking amused.
“Damn, that’s a NASTY gash. Who fucked you up?” the main one asks, more joking than concerned. “You look like shit.”
“Leave me alone, please. Stop talking shit and fight me if you’re gonna. Shut up, i don’t WANT to fight.” NONE of the voices are talking in turns, simply blurting out whatever and he can’t control it. “My stops coming up, just let me go and- I’m just ITCHIN’ for a fight, you’re gonna be beggin for mercy. STOP IT, You can’t just say shit.”
The three obviously look CONFUSED, a bit horrified, but one {on the far left} opens his eyes WIDE with sudden realization. “Yo, dude that’s Jin! That’s that Bubaigawara guy from the news. Man you were everywhere, you’re supposed to be one of those big time villains.” Oh no, he’s a fan, none of these guys were ‘good guys’, but somehow the fact they had some twisted Villain Worship thing made it even worse. “You look pathetic now, what gives? “Yeah, you always look fucking badass on tv.”
“Nothin, leave me alone.” Hands grab his head, trying to concentrate, to silent the recent additions to the world inside his mind. “Fuck off.” He feels like he’s going to split in two, Maybe he IS a clone, maybe this is what dying feels like.
“You ain’t SHIT man. You makin’ fun of us?” The main one snarls, moving in closer. “You’re not worth shit now. What happened, a Hero mess you up? You acting stupid just cause you think you’re better than us?”
Jin can barely focus, he’s too busy searching for the bag, or SOMETHING to cover himself up, to stop the pain he’s experiencing. “Bag..mask..” Words muttered, he’s folding in on himself, he can’t breath. He can’t control anything. He’s going to die. He’s going to split in two.
There’s a new, thudding, pain as a foot connects with his chest, knocking him to the ground. “Some fuckin’ villain. We’re supposed to be scared of you?”
“StopitstopitSTOP. Give me all ya’ got.” It’s said through pained groans, another foot to his chest, he thinks he’s been punched in the face as well {there’s definitely blood coming from his nose}. No one helps him, no one sees, and through all of this, the worst pain is still the throbbing in his skull, going throughout his entire body. It’s an ache, an almost physical pull in his body. Is he imagining it? Is it real? Is HE real? “Please.”
Minutes? Hours? He isn’t sure how long the continue, he’s only able to endure most of the beating by hiding his face, muttering INTENTLY to himself, arguing to run, to fight back, to hide. He closes his eyes, he sees the massacre again, played over and over as the scar on his head bleeds again, hit after hit landing. He’s being yelled at, he doesn’t know what they’re saying.
at one point he might’ve called softly for his mother and father. he isn’t sure. it’s all a pathetic blur.
The thugs eventually get bored with their assault. They spit insults, they call him names, they leave when the train stops and he’s left on the ground, trying and failing to ground himself. Trembling hand reaches out blindly, he can’t see clearly through the tears blurring his vision, but he manages to find his salvation in the slightly torn paper bag. Broken body sits up, breathing ragged and shaky as he quickly covers his head.
i’m pathetic. i’m so awesome. got beat up by some thugs. they were tough! no they weren’t.
knees are hugged to his chest, he wants to appear as small as possible. The train starts to move again, he stays on the floor, too hurt and exhausted to move. Jin Bubagawara, once one of the government’s most wanted men. Someone who once had potential, a dream…
Broken and beaten on the floor of some random train. It hadn’t even been enough damage done to destroy him if he HAD been one of his clones, so he’s still uncertain, and THAT’S eating away at him deep down too.
He rests his head on his knees, something akin to a tiny whimper leaving his lips while anger and agitation rises in his chest.
there was no place for him to go, nowhere for people like him in this ‘hero’ culture. It wasn’t made for those who really NEEDED help.  Only people who fit into a certain mold.
And he had broken that ages ago.
