EddiexJosh AU where Tommy comes back earlier and is already dating Buck throughout s5. Eddie can't help but feel like an odd man out when he transfers because he's missing so much of his old life. He knows leaving the 118 was his choice, and that he made it for himself and Chrisropher, but he's just tired, lonely. Eddie can't help feeling incredibly lonely.
He ends up spending more time with Josh Russo. It's a side effect of a multitude of things: Eddie's new hours, the "am I still a real firefighter?" feeling, a need to talk to someone who's neutrual about the situation. Plus, Frank suggested for him to make friends at dispatch. Eddie wants to feel settled into his new life. So instead of going out with the 118, making himself feel the sting of bittersweet angst hearing all the rescue stories second hand, he starts hanging with the dispatch crew.
He finds himself feeling more relaxed and in his own skin than he's ever been before. Not because of the job, he misses firefighting so much, nothing will replace the 118, but he's been hanging out with Josh. There's something different about the world when he's with Josh. Eddie feels something stirring inside him, waking from a long slumber.
The first couple of nights Josh and Eddie are with the others, a group of dispatchers who go out after a shift to socialize (sometimes including Maddie). He the only one he's familiar with most of the time is Josh (if only by association at first), so he tends to stick by him, getting to know him outside of work.
Some nights, it somehow winds up being only Eddie and Josh. Eddie's captivated by being under Josh's full focus, the deep, meaningful look in his eyes as they talk about everything and anything. The way he makes Eddie feel grounded amongst the new changes in his life is almost addicting. Eddie sees how passionate Josh is about his job, about needing to be worthwhile. Eddie feels the same way.
Overtime he realizes how much he enjoys being in Josh's space, how Josh is a breath of fresh air compared to the recent women who've passed through his life like a ship in the night. He's never considered himself as anything other than straight but Josh makes him feel seen. He makes Eddie feel like he doesn't have to pretend, or live up to expectations. They feel connected to each other in a way Eddie can't explain. He needs to find out what it is about Josh Russo that makes him feel flustered and have butterflies in his stomach.
Josh feels light and easy and fun in a way Eddie's never really had before. They've both got trauma and baggage, sure, but he makes Eddie feel good about himself. Josh doesn't look at him and immediately see all the trauma Eddie has endured. He just sees Eddie.
Josh is funny and charming. He makes Eddie laugh, Eddie makes him laugh. He loves hearing Josh laugh, loves being the one who can make him smile or the way his eyes light up when they see each other. Eddie starts thinking the man is adorable and cute at one point. Especially when Josh blushes, sweet rosy pink spreads across his face, whenever he's passionate about something or flustered. Eventually, Eddie starts trying to be on the main floor as much as possible to subtly watch Josh work because when he's incredinly hot mesmerizing when he's in dispatcher mode.
Then one night, they're both out for drinks at one of Josh's regular spots. There's music playing over the speakers. It's all loud bar ambiance, but Eddie doesn't hear any of it. He feels intoxicated listening to Josh's voice. He hangs onto his every word, watching his soft, plush lips as he talks. Suddenly, on instinct, driven by a sudden rush of bravery, Eddie rests his hand on the back of Josh's neck. Josh freezes slightly at the touch, eyes holding a calculating gaze as he studies Eddie's behavior. "Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks there's something happening here," Eddie whispers. Josh gravitates closer, rests his hand on Eddie's thigh.
"You're not," Josh says, licking his lips. "But I - I thought you were straight." It's not accusatory, just a statement. And yeah, he's not the only one, but if Buck can have a sexuality crisis in his twenties Eddie can too.
"I don't know what I am," Eddie says, leaning close to rest their foreheads together. "But I want to find out with you. Is that okay?" He asks, still hesitant to kiss the man in front of him. Josh's expression turns serious as he studies Eddie's face, searching carefully. Eddie wants to kiss Josh badly, he didn't think he had it this bad before he put everything on the table.
Despite needing to know what kissing Josh Russo feels like, Eddie knows about the dispatch takeover. He knows how important it is for Josh to know he has a choice. To know he's been chosen and isn't just collateral, or a part of some joke.
He sees the moment Josh finds what he's looking for, his eyes soften with a haze of want, mirroring Eddie's own expression as Josh exhales. Eddie's eyes flutter as Josh carefully leans in and kisses him twice on the lips. It's chaste both times, then Josh nips at Eddie's bottom lip, teasing him lightly. Their kiss feels like this big moment Eddie's been anticipating for weeks. Now that its finally here, all he wants is to do it again.
"Does that answer your question?" Josh whispers. He lets out a soft gasp when Eddie leans in for a kiss of his own, resting his arms on Josh's shoulder, nuzzling their noses together with a smile on his face.
"Yeah," Eddie says, eyes flickering with excitement at a new world of possibilities. "Yeah, it does."

I don’t see eddie as gay but IF they ever make him like men I can only see him with josh 😭
I’ve grappled with this really since 7x04. While Eddie/Josh is definitely better than Eddie/Marisol for a whole bunch of reasons, I also don’t want the show to go “oh hey eddies gay so let’s put him with the other out gay guy on the show.”
Eddie/Josh COULD make a good and compelling storyline IF the network decides to go that route since Eddie and Josh already know each other, as they worked dispatch together for a few months. Not to mention that they’re funny as hell and have an interesting dynamic in the few scenes they have together in 5b

Josh/Eddie, Buck/Eddie parallels
As seen through interactions with May and Linda, Eddie is well liked in the Dispatch office.
Tumblr media
Buck to Eddie: "You’re my problem. Your comfort level. You’re – you’re not supposed to just walk in here like you’ve been here for years. There’s supposed to be a getting-to-know-you period. You’re meant to respect your elders.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eddie to Buck: "I in no way meant to, uh, be too familiar or step on anybody’s toes."
Tumblr media
So Eddie's friends at Dispatch are both girls and he's made the gay dispatcher feel displaced/threatened. HMMM. How's therapy, Eddie Diaz?

I'm re-writing this because yesterday I typed my post too fast on my lunch break.
Hear me out. First, I am new here, so maybe some people already talked about this, now...what about Josh and Eddie?
What if Eddie has some kind of revelation at the wedding? He sees Buck and Tommy dance and it annoys him, he doesn't know why because it's Buck and Tommy, he loves Buck and he likes Tommy and he's happy for them really but there's this weight at the bottom of his stomach he can't explain when he sees them dancing and kissing and laughing...
Eddie doesn't really know what it is, but he doesn't like it, so he's busy glaring at his drink while Buck and Tommy are having the time of their lives.
Enter Josh who definitely pick a vibe coming from Eddie and I don't know, maybe he ask him to dance because why not, it's just for fun, they're at a wedding and Eddie needs to stop glaring like that, he's gonna scare people away.
Eddie is the first surprised when he hear himself say yes and even more when he realize Josh is fun and maybe they start hanging out on a regular basis, maybe they become friends, maybe they become more...
My point is if Buck can have Tommy I think Eddie also deserve to have some fun and find a (boy)friend that will help him work through all of his emotions, realize what he's feeling for Buck is more than friendship. Honestly, I think Josh and Eddie would work beautifully as friends. I think they would try dating but quickly realize they work better as friends and Josh is more than happy to be there for Eddie.
And when the time is right, when everyone is single at the same time, Buck and Eddie can finally admit they are in love with each other. The last thing I want is for any of them to have a broken heart, I don't want anyone to be hurt or to be left for someone else.
So anyway, Josh and Eddie, yes or yes?

I finally watched the new season of 9-1-1 I had to watch it on a no-no website, which makes me feel a little bit guilty because the S7 is still not on Disney+ for my country. ANYWAY. The last episode. The gasp I gasped. O-M-G!!! Tommy and Buck. The hand placement. The kiss. The Buck's reaction after. Jesus!

I think it would be really funny/queer for Buck and Tommy to get on so so well… only for Tommy and Buck to both be total tops.
And they’re like maybe we can work this out and let’s try this and this and that and agree to just be friends (with side benefits for a bit) because they are less… compatible. Then we get Buddie and Tommy/Josh (Tosh!) and we all win.
Additionally, Evan Buckley’s face when he tries to bottom for the first time:

About to say something controversial. 👀👀. I’ve seen a lot of “Tommy can date Josh when Eddie and Buck finally start dating” and other variations of that. And as nice as that sounds. What if I said Josh x Eddie? Idk y’all. I was picking up some serious vibes when they interacted.

9-1-1 thoughts
okay so we know lou (tommy) is only in a few episodes, but i’m still hoping buck and tommy work out for a bit.
so what if buck and tommy have a few relationship issues and at maddie and chims wedding they still haven’t made up, but tommy is still invited cause he is friends with chimney.
so at the wedding buck is being all mopey and eddie gives him a pep talk in going after he wants, buck and tommy make up and dance together at the wedding.
cut to eddie watching them and having this “what did l just do” face and that’s how the season ends.
season 8 is all about eddie coming to realise his feelings and pining over buck (we all love a little angst)
i would really just like bucks first queer relationship to go well and end amicably (then buddie can be together and tommy can be with josh, cause all those men deserve so much love)

Tease tidbit Tuesday and WIP Wednesday
I got tagged by @disasterbuckdiaz @daffi-990 @forthewolves @wikiangela @hippolotamus @jesuisici33 @callmenewbie @loserdiaz you dearies!!!❤️
Yeah so, I still haven't written much, but here a (very rough first draft, very unedited) little bit from Green is just not your color Eddie, the Buck dates Josh + jealous Eddie fic.
Maddie deals the cards. They play two games that Buck predictably loses, before Maddie brings up Taylor. “So, I heard from a little bird that you were going out with Taylor, how’s it going?” “I bet it was more like two little birds, Hen told Chim and Chim told you.” “Was it a secret?” (Maddie) “No, not at all.” (Buck) “Wait, I’m lost. Who’s Taylor?” (Josh) “Taylor Kelly, th-” (Maddie) “The reporter!?” (Josh) “The one and only.” (Maddie) “Oh my God, I need to hear this.” (Josh) Buck sighs. “I’m going to tell you what I told Hen and Chim. And I really hope that at least you two will actually believe me.” He chucks down what’s left of his wine before continuing. “We tried and then we realized we were better as friends, that’s it.” “Then why do Hen and Chim believe that you’re still dating?” Maddie asks, confusion written all over her face. “Maybe because I keep inviting her to charity events and I was thinking too hard on what to give her for Christmas. In my defense I was trying to help her get some stories for work while promoting the events to get more help and it was the first time I was buying a gift for a woman that wasn’t my sister or someone I see as family.” “Well, it sucks that it didn’t work, but it’s nice that you could remain friends. Men and women can be just friends. To think otherwise is rather archaic.” (Josh) “Thank you!” Josh raíces his glass towards him.
Listen, I'm great at dialogue, I freaking suck at descriptive text... the struggle is real.
No pressure tags for Wip Wednesday!

an outsider's point of view (ao3)
2.4 k, Buck/Eddie, Secret Relationship
Eddie and Buck are keeping their relationship a secret from their family. Only their family. The rest of the world was fair game, it seemed.
“They’re doing it again.”
Chapman looked up from her book at West, who had paused his game to slyly nod over towards their station’s workout space. They had the perfect view of it from where they sat, of Diaz clobbering the punching bag while Buckley held it. Buckley, watching Diaz lob punch after punch with love burning so brightly behind his gaze its glare made it hard for Chapman to stare at them for long without squinting and snickering.
“How is it,” West continued, speaking in a whisper, “they haven’t been caught yet?”
Diaz had finished his quarrel with the punching bag by then, both he and Buckley leaving it to swing as they moved over to the weights section. Diaz’s hand hovered at Buckley’s lower back before, during, and after the short trek.
“They’ve been caught,” Chapman corrected him. She remembered finding them mid-embrace in the locker room with their uniforms half-on a month before, West telling her about them holding hands during a ride out to a call two weeks before that, and the many other stories from their crew who had stumbled on them and immediately went and gossiped about it. “Just not by the people that matter, apparently…”
She stared beyond Buckley and Diaz, to where Captain Nash chatted with his right and left hands, Wilson and Han, beside an ambulance. They were blissfully unaware of how Buckley and Diaz’s fingers brushed against each other as Diaz passed along some weights to the other firefighter.
“Do you think they know, and just aren’t saying anything?” West asked, “To not… make it such a big deal?”
“No. I really think they don’t know.”
“Aren’t they always hanging out though?”
“They aren’t hanging out any more than usual, from what I’ve heard.”
“I meant them as a whole, as their… group. Shouldn’t someone have figured out they’re dating by now?”
“Not if they’re keeping it secret.”
“But they’re doing such an awful job at it.”
Buckley stole a glance at where Nash, Wilson, and Han were gathered, to confirm they’re still engrossed in their conversation, in their inspection of the ambulance, and then peppered Eddie’s sheeny shoulder with featherlight kisses which Eddie accepted with a smile, an eye roll, and the softest hip check Chapman ever saw.
She spotted Jackson staring down at them from the top of the stairs and met his exasperation with a sigh and a wry shake of her head.
Chapman explained, “We only think they’re bad at it because they’re not trying to hide it from us. Only… them… for whatever reason.”
“It’s not like they wouldn’t be happy they’re together.”
“Of course.” Chapman cracked her book back open yet didn’t return to reading it. “After they ribbed the shit out of them.”
“Oh, I’d pay to see that.”
“Or even be able to listen at the captain’s door when it happened.”
“Nash wouldn’t have to say anything. He’d just sit them down and watch them until they self-destructed.”
West laughed, and Chapman did, too.
“Then he’d say how disappointed he was in them for keeping this a secret,” Chapman added. “And spend the next hour going over the HR report they’d need to file.”
“Don’t forget about Hen. And Chimney.” West leaned closer as he wheezed, “Those two would be there, too, roasting them to hell and back.”
“Han’s probably been waiting for something like this,” Chapman said, “something he can hold over Buckley’s head as revenge for those early days when he was dating his sister.”
“Those were a good couple of weeks… like that time Chimney chased Buck all around the fire house? I can’t remember why –“
“Because he drew all over his face while he was asleep! And sent pictures of it to his sister.”
“Right! How could I –“ West and Chapman were laughing too hard, and West accidentally let out a giant snort as he gasped for breath that certainly echoed throughout the station. “Forget.”
Chapman felt the prickling sensation of being watched as if each pair of eyes were a nail scraping across her cheek. She saw, out the corner of her eye, the core five from the 118, stared at her and West. Some amused. Some curious. All too much for someone who, unlike them, preferred being in the shadows.
She cleared her throat and turned, burying her nose in her book. “When it does happen,” she hissed, “hopefully it’ll be on one of the days I chose.”
West scoffed. “In your dreams. I’m winning that bet.”
Their conversation fell off as West resumed playing his game and Chapman scanned her book line by line. However, she wasn’t really paying attention to what she read. The words faded into a jumbled mess all the way through to the end of the chapter, with Chapman’s concentration more on the sensation from moments ago that, while not as strong as before, remained. Two nails were tickling the nape of her neck. Two sets of eyes hadn’t moved on.
Chapman stood and headed towards the lockers to put her book away.
Wilson and Han followed and cornered her a moment later.
“Everything good?” Chapman asked them. She tried to maintain some air of coolness, to wear a placid expression she cobbled together from her suddenly spotty memories.
Not that it mattered. Wilson saw past it, as if she wore it like the plastic visor on her helmet.
“Thought we should be asking you that,” she said, leaning against the lockers to Chapman’s right, while Han stood at her left. “Are you good?”
“Yeah. You seem a little…” Han stepped forward, startling Chapman. “Jumpy.”
“I’m fine,” she squeaked.
They exchanged glances in front of her. They did not believe her. Chapman hadn’t believed herself.
“You sure?” Wilson continued. She eyed the book still clutched in Chapman’s paling hands. “Maybe it was something you read?”
Chapman hemmed. She hawed. It lasted only a scant few seconds but even that felt too long until she decided on, “Yeah. I – there’s this part in this book that was really, kinda… it hit me hard.”
“And West found that funny?”
Her eyes shut fast and hard as she hissed. “Shit.”
There wasn’t any more denying she’d been caught, the threads of her lie tangled around her ankles.
When she opened her eyes Han had moved next to Wilson to present a more united front. Their faces had softened, however, now that the game was over.
“You can tell us,” Han said. “We love a good joke. To laugh.”
“Even if it’s about us,” Wilson added.
“Well let’s not go too far.”
Chapman noticed a rather small crowd gathered at a distance outside the locker room. A loose assembly of firefighters that wouldn’t draw suspicion. West had abandoned his video game and Jackson left the lofted kitchen, and they stood with Portch and Ortiz watching her wriggle inside this glass trap with practiced casualness.
At least escape wasn’t impossible, just difficult.
“We were… reminiscing,” she admitted. “About that time Buckley drew all those pictures on your face.”
Wilson’s barked laughter was sudden and sharp, like a knife sneaking out to dip into Han’s side without getting stuck. She threw a hand over her mouth, but she wasn’t fast enough. Han responded to her with heavy side-eye.
She shrugged, “Sorry.”
Han accepted the gesture and, while staunching his flesh wound, turned on Chapman again. “What made you think about that?”
The stares from the others outside felt so obvious, like each firefighter was trying to shove their hands into her mouth and stop her from telling them what was going on, what had been happening beneath their noses for months, what was quickly bubbling up her throat because, despite being fine under pressures such as burning buildings or terrific accidents, something about the duo’s combined energy was more than her resolve could handle. The secret rose and rose. It burned her tongue and made her teeth tingle. She spat, “Because we were talking about Buckley.”
Han’s brows furrowed as he asked, “What about Buck?”
“I…” Chapman hated how easily she folded, especially today. When in three days it’d be her betting window and the money would’ve gone to her and not Smitt, who hadn’t even had the opportunity to catch Buckley or Diaz in some compromising position at all. An undeserved victory. “West and I were talking about what you’d do when… you, the rest of you, figured out Buckley was dating Diaz.”
First there was silence. Then a low chuckle that came from Han, followed by Wilson, which became boisterous and teetered on the edge of manic before they ran out of air.
Wilson leaned on Han and patted her straining cheeks with the back of her hand. “I hadn’t had a good laugh like that in a long time.”
“I know. I think I threw my back out because of it.”
They coughed up the dregs of their mirth and searched for its reflection in Chapman. Her wide eyes and thin lips told them a different story. The duo sobered.
“Buck? And Eddie?” Wilson said, “Are you sure?”
Chapman nodded.
“No,” Han said. “You – look just because Eddie’s gay, and Buck’s bi doesn’t mean…” He paused, trying to figure out how he might end his thought. He lamely added, “They can be close without it being dating.”
“But they are dating. We’ve seen it.”
“We?”
Chapman sang. She told them about Buckley and Diaz. How nearly all the other firefighters in the 118 had seen them, at one point or another, entangled in situations that went far beyond what was considered ‘friendship’. About the betting pool they started, the many pools, about which of their friends would find them first, how it might happen, what day, time, if it happened during a call or not – the list was endless. She ran out of things to say after that and gathered enough courage to peek at her colleagues.
Han jaw hung, slack, like rope that had been cut. Wilson better reined in her surprise but the traces of it were obvious in her expression, in how she scratched her head and pursed her lips.
“That’s…” she started. “It’s…” she tried again. “Huh,” she said.
That snapped Han into action. He attempted one last blustering effort of denial. “If Buck and Eddie were dating, we’d know. Okay?”
“Would you?” Chapman asked, “Do you even know they’re sharing a locker?”
And, because no one in the 118 locked their lockers, Chapman flung back Buckley’s empty locker followed by Diaz’s stuffed one. She was driven by adrenaline born from the relief of finally being able to talk about the couple after being denied it for months. The consequences of this, which weighed heavily on her mind at the onset of their conversation, were forgotten.
But staring at the resignation on both Wilson and Han’s faces as they eyed the open lockers brought these consequences roaring back.
She shuffled awkwardly under the tense silence, thinking of what she could say except she had nothing. What could she add that might make this easier for them, more manageable? To explain why they kept it secret? Chapman and the other members of the 118 theorized and joked but, truthfully, no one understood exactly what the reason for it was when they were both so well loved by everyone and so obviously in love. No one except Buckley and Diaz knew why they were acting at being just friends.
An act Chapman’s big mouth ruined.
“If that’s… all?” Wilson and Han said nothing. “Okay.”
Chapman left without replacing her book in her locker and with Captain Nash’s lunch doing somersaults and cartwheels in her stomach.
She stepped into the waiting cluster of their audience, answering their questions with a haggard wince.
“Shit,” West said. “Does this mean Smitt wins the bet?”
“I guess.” In the end, that was the only thing Chapman felt certain of.
EPILOGUE
Josh watched Maddie speak with Chimney on her phone over the rim of his coffee mug. She was rolling her eyes every few seconds, scoffing, and though she whispered he heard bits and pieces of what she said. “That can’t be true.” “They’re making things up.” “There’s got to be a reason for it that’s not… that.”
Finally, after scrubbing a hand through her hair and flaring her nostrils Maddie ended the call with a curt, “We’ll talk about this later. At home.” Then she placed her phone face down and pressed her hands into her face.
When Josh could see her eyes again he asked, “What was that about?”
Maddie chuckled. “You won’t believe it.”
“Try me.”
“Apparently,” she stressed each syllable of the word. “A few people over at the 118 are con-vinced Buck and Eddie are dating.” More laughter. “Isn’t that nuts.”
Josh stared at her.
“It’s nuts, right?”
His eyes were wider than satellite dishes.
“Why aren’t you agreeing with me here, Josh?”
“W-well…” Josh set his coffee down. His empty hands wrong themselves senseless. “It is nuts; I’ll admit. But…”
“But?”
“It’s not like it isn’t… possible.”
Josh had stopped looking at her during his explanation but, finished, he snuck a glance at her. Her gaze was sharp and struck his shoulder like an arrow.
“What do you know?”
“It’s not what I know –“
“Josh!”
“I saw them out at a club a few weeks ago,” he told her. “I saw them on the dance floor, on each other. On top of each other. It was… it was a lot.”
Even now the memory of it overwhelms Josh, causing him to warm considerably beneath his collar. Buck and Eddie drew every eye in the club as they rolled against each other, inspiring love, desire, and envy with every cant of their hips. Josh saw Eddie’s hands curl around Buck’s neck, Buck pull Eddie so their chests were flushed together, their smiles disappear into a kiss and had to close his tab and flee because it was as if he stumbled on something he, truly anyone, was meant to see. The club was theirs that night and Josh surrendered it easily.
He hadn’t known if he should or shouldn’t tell Maddie, until it was too late.
“So Buck and Eddie are dating?”
“Yeah.”
“Buck, my brother, and Eddie, his best friend, are… dating?”
Josh repeated himself.
Maddie nodded and picked up her phone. She pressed it to her ear as it rang. Then, she said, “I know I said we’d talk about this later but you are not going to believe what I just heard…”

OKAY I REALIZED AFTER JOSH BROUGHT THE SUDOKU (which conveniently says “Unwind Your MIND PUZZLES - 1000 Medium to Hard PUZZLES”), Buck then goes to Eddie and he says “No bright white lights, NO TRIPPY MIND PUZZLES”. WOW! That is so crazy.

do you ever just think of tiny little buddie moments that aren't even necessarily very buddie but they're scenes that don't really have much of a narrative purpose outside of a buddie arc or, in any other show, they're scenes that would be played off for laughs. but like things like the elf in santa's village or the joke at poker night about setting buck and josh up. idk we always talk about the big buddie moments but there are hundreds of these tiny little buddie building blocks sprinkled throughout the series that are so innocuous but so, so fucking crucial.

I am almost 2 weeks late, but here is episode 18 from s5 9-1-1. I am so excited, and my hope for something is so high. I also hope they won't get hurt again, please.
I initially saw nothing wrong with mushrooms in the tea. Like, I thought he was allergic and then realised they were talking about the narcotic. In my defense, in my country, they are a meal if you eat them with some sauce.
Bobby, what is going on? I am just as confused as Chim and Buck. They couldn't have moved those stones real quick? Now the thing is unstable. So it's not the rocks but the cliff, great. I knew something was going to happen the moment Bobby said he would go down. It's always the ladder truck, isn't it? It's bad, but they are not hurt, so that's good. My poor mentally unstable father-son duo. It wasn't their fault, any of it. "Kid", shut up.
The smile and the chuckle, aw. I love how they go back and forth. I also love that we know things because they tell each other things because otherwise we would have never known. Maybe that makes no sense but whatever. Oh no, Bobby. She is going to college, yay. Chim, that panic sip was not subtle. Maddie's face, help. I am so happy for her. It also fits perfectly in the schedule. May goes, and Maddie comes back. I will miss seeing more May when she moves away. I am here for meteologist Albert. That makes me so happy. Chris would react the same as Denny, Buck would tell him all about it, and Eddie wants them to please talk about something else. What is going on with Karen? Yeah, I get that. Fair is fair. You don't need to fix it, just talk about it. They are okay, yay. I love this relationship, btw. Like, someone who has decent parents-in-law. Buck, Eddie, Chim, and Maddie can't say the same. I missed this friendship. Go, Maddie.
The awkward silence. Buck's face and his look at Chim. God help me. I am actually crying. That is hilarious. Lucy, changing the topic, genius. Well, that didn't work. Bobby 100% knows what they are trying to do. Buck!! I was like, oh, he is going to smile because Eddie is his partner and has his back, and then "Until they stick a knife in it." Nevermind. Buck's smile. I love the team dynamic. So the team knows, okay. I love that they joke about it. Oh no, Chim. Apparently, Bobby did not know. Bobby, no, listen to your wife.
Not Maddie that has to respond. That went better than expected. Buck looks good. Buckley siblings. I am so proud of you. This is better for both of you. Finally. I love Eddie and May's friendship, and I always need more of it. I am sorry, but Eddie's posture reminds me of a guy picking up a girl for a date and who is about to show the bouquet of flowers that he has behind his back. That is a really good speech. I think it got through to Bobby. I also love that Eddie is still 'I don't know how to be vulnerable in front of most people Eddie'. Like, he used Christopher to escape as fast as possible. I am so proud. I am crying. Omg.
They look so good, shut up. So it's a surprise? I love how they got out of there as fast as possible, haha. Yes, Toni. That sigh of relief when Taylor walked out. Chim and Maddie hopefully getting back together. The first steps were made. I adore Christopher Diaz from the bottom of my heart. I am kind of disappointed we didn't get to hear the vows and stuff. They are also mean for not showing if Buck and Eddie were actually sitting next to each other. Also, where is Christopher in his little suit? They are going on vacation, good for them. I wanted to see the rest of the wedding. I live for details. Firefighter Eddie Diaz, shut the fuck up. I want to scream so loudly. Everyone looks so serious, and Buck is smiling.
I am so happy, I feel like crying. We are going to have Buck and Eddie working together again. Omg. I am so excited for next season, and I cannot wait. Something is going to happen on that cruise, though.
