Eddie McGee

Well known to 911 (fox) fans as Frank the therapist to the LAFD. In fact he only appears in a few episodes so far (and a squillion fanfics!) - a therapy montage with Hen, Eddie & Maddie in episode 3x09:

okay okay I saw this post by @goggles-mcgee and it got me thinking about Steve and baking some more but like, pre-season 4.

Dustin always shows up to Hellfire with these absolutely delicious smelling baked goods for him and Lucas and Mike.

Now, Eddie and the rest of Hellfire havent had any yet because they aren't going to bully freshmen into giving away their clearly homemade treats. So when Dustin finally brings enough to share and passes them around, Eddie goes to mow through his and takes one bite and nearly cries from how good it is. He didn't know cookies could taste like this.

Dustin definitely notices and starts bringing in enough to share every time. And Eddie, of course, is all about it. He's never had this much of a range of baked goods in his life.

And, he assumes, since Dustin is bringing them in tins, that it's his mom doing the baking. So after a few weeks of Dustin bringing in more stuff, Eddie loudly proclaims that he's in love with Dustin's mother, and that if they ever meet, he's proposing on sight.

The kids laugh so hard, way harder than they should at that kind of joke.

Powers in Stranger Things

Okay so, I want to do a powers au for steddie where one or both Steve and Eddie have powers. And I started wondering about how to do that. There seems to be like, 3 different ways most people do this.

1.) Secret Lab Children.

Steve usually gets labeled 7 because Steve and Seven are close in terms of just the words themselves. Eddie usually gets labeled 10 or something? No idea why, but whatever. Both have a lot of potential for both answering questions not answered by canon while also giving angsty opportunity.

2.) Exposure to Creatures/weird shit in Hawkins

Steve got a mouthful of something in the tunnels underground Hawkins, and people sometimes have that give him powers.

3.) The Upside Down/Dimension X

This one's less common, or at least less common from what I've read, and also apparently the canonical answer to how Henry got powers in the first place even though that makes no fucking sense. According to the stage play, apparently, when Henry was a child he got transported to Dimension X and interacted with the mind flayer which gave him COMPLETELY NEW BLOOD AND A NEW PERSONALITY AND ALSO GAVE HIM POWERS.

So what I'm saying is like half the cast should have powers at this point, especially Will. And that we can all just start saying shit. Why do Eddie and Steve have powers? Fuck you, that's why. They have powers and they're gonna fuck because I said so. And then they're gonna use their powers to fuck and then they're gonna kill Vecna just by letting him know how lame he is.

Can someone recommend me any good Eddy fanfics?

Full disclosure; Eddy is my favorite character. Not just in Ed, Edd n' Eddy but probably of all time. I like Ed and Doubble D fine but they are side characters as far as I'm concerned.

I really want to read some Eddy-focused stories, preferably ones taking place after Big Picture Show since I would love to see how he developed after that point. As for shipping I'm open to anything as long as Eddy remains the MC.

I tried searching on my own but couldn't find any. Besides, it's always nice when fanfic-writers support each other's work.
