Can you do the wolf pack from twilight reacting to Gn!Reader wearing their shirt/hoodie, but it’s too oversized for them.
(You can pick your preferred characters)
Embry might blush and smile, feeling a mix of pride and affection seeing (Y/N) wearing their oversized hoodie or shirt. They might tease (Y/N) playfully, saying something like, "Looks like my clothes fit you better than they fit me! You're stealing my style." Overall, Embry would likely find it endearing and enjoy the closeness and connection it represents.

Embry couldn't help but grin as they walked into the room and saw (Y/N) wearing their oversized hoodie. Their heart skipped a beat, a warm feeling spreading through them at the sight. "Well, well, look who's raiding my closet," Embry playfully remarked, a hint of affection in their tone.
(Y/N) looked up, cheeks slightly pink, but a mischievous glint in their eyes. "What can I say? Your hoodies are just too cozy to resist."
Embry walked over, unable to suppress the smile on their face. They reached out to lightly tug on the hoodie's sleeve. "I always knew you had good taste, but I didn't realize it extended to my wardrobe."
(Y/N) laughed, leaning in for a quick peck on Embry's cheek. "Your hoodies are like a soft, wearable hug. How could I resist that?"
Embry's heart fluttered at the affectionate gesture. "Well, you definitely wear it well. Maybe I should start charging rent for my clothes."
"Oh, please. I think I make them look even better than you do," (Y/N) quipped, giving Embry a playful nudge.
Embry pretended to gasp dramatically. "Is that a challenge, (Y/N)? Are we going to have a hoodie fashion face-off?"
(Y/N) raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of their lips. "You're on. But be warned, I've got some serious layering skills."
As the banter continued, Embry felt their heart swell with affection for (Y/N). It wasn't just about the hoodie or the playful exchange – it was about the comfortable intimacy they shared, the ability to be themselves around each other. Seeing (Y/N) in their clothes was a reminder of that connection, a tangible representation of their bond.
"Okay, okay, you win," Embry finally conceded, laughter in their eyes. "I'll admit defeat in the great hoodie duel."
(Y/N) grinned triumphantly. "That's what I thought. Now, can I keep this hoodie as a token of victory?"
Embry chuckled. "Of course, you can. Just promise to return it if I get too cold."
"You got it," (Y/N) replied, wrapping their arms around Embry in a tight hug, hoodie and all. "I'll keep you warm."
In that moment, Embry felt an overwhelming rush of love for (Y/N). The sight of them wearing the oversized hoodie was a reminder of the small moments that made their relationship special – the shared laughter, the gentle touches, and the feeling of being completely at ease with each other.
They rested their chin on (Y/N)'s shoulder, reveling in the warmth of the hug. "You always manage to make everything feel so much better," Embry murmured, their voice filled with genuine affection.
(Y/N) pulled back slightly, their gaze locking with Embry's. "That's because we're a team, remember? No matter what, we've got each other's backs."
Embry's lips curled into a soft smile, their fingers instinctively reaching up to brush a strand of hair away from (Y/N)'s face. "I'm grateful every day for you, (Y/N). For your support, your love, and even for stealing my hoodies."
(Y/N) chuckled, their eyes sparkling with warmth. "And I'm grateful for your hoodies being ridiculously comfortable."
Leaning in, Embry pressed a gentle kiss to (Y/N)'s lips, their heart fluttering as they tasted the familiar sweetness. "I love you," they whispered against (Y/N)'s mouth.
"I love you too," (Y/N) replied, their voice soft and filled with sincerity.
In that moment, as they stood there wrapped in each other's arms, wearing the oversized hoodie that symbolized their connection, Embry knew that they had something truly special. It wasn't just about the clothes or the playful banter – it was about the deep bond they shared, the way they complemented each other, and the love that grew stronger with each passing day.
As they held each other, Embry couldn't help but think that life was made up of these little moments – the stolen hoodies, the shared laughter, and the quiet expressions of love that spoke volumes without any words at all. And in each of those moments, they found a sense of belonging that made everything feel right.

Jacob didn’t look pleased as he hopped down out of Billy’s truck and slammed the driver's side door. You looked at him rather sheepishly and shivered a little as the rain ran under your coat, the bike helmet he’d given you dented and in one hand.
“I told you not to waste your money on this! Specifically this one.” Jacob complained as he walked over to you.
“I thought you were over exaggerating.” You complained as Jacob bent down to look at your scuffed leg. The denim of your jeans had been ripped open and he could see a cut through the hole.
“Does this look like I was over exaggerating? Will you please go and get in the car?” Jacob pointed to the truck and waited until he was sure you’d gotten in. He carefully picked up the bits of your bike and put them into the bed of the truck until he had all the pieces and got in the driver's seat. He reached over and turned the heat up. “Do you need to go to the hospital? Your helmet is pretty banged up.”
“I don’t think so?” You said. He gave you a dubious look but took you anyway. You were sent home with a bandage on your leg and a few to change each day as well as some painkillers. The doctor also told Jacob to keep an eye on you as you had a very mild concussion. Jacob sent you inside and found some old clothes of yours at the back of his wardrobe. They were on the smaller side but you were glad to have something dry.
“How’re you feeling?” Billy asked as you left Jacob’s room. He handed you a warm drink and you spotted your coat hanging on a chair to dry next to the wood burner on one side of the living room.
“Better.” You said quietly as you appreciatively took the drink and sipped at it.
“Good. Jacob said what happened. He’s gone with Embry and Quill to get your money back. Should never have sold you that bike in the first place.” Billy sounded rather disapproving as he shook his head. The two of you chatted for a while and were interrupted by Jacob, Quill and Embry and shortly after Charlie Swan came in. Billy gestured for the boys to dry off and get a warm drink.
“Charlie, what can I help you with?” Billy asked as Charlie sat on a chair between the two of you.
“Well, I was called out about the commotion Jacob was causing. Turns out we’ve had a lot of vehicles that were stolen over the last year and according to my partner, a lot of the parts were found where you bought your bike. We’d need the information they gave you when you bought it and what happened with the bike.” Charlie explained. Billy sat with you and told Charlie everything he knew about the bike as he’d gone with you and Jacob to see it in the first place. You explained about going back on your own when your car finally stopped and the bike was much cheaper than getting it fixed. Then you explained about some of the parts coming off the bike causing you to swerve into the wrong side of the road and crash into a tree. Luckily it wasn’t too far from a payphone so you managed to call Jacob.
Once Charlie had everything he needed he nodded curtly, patted Billy affectionately on the shoulder and promised to be down to see him again soon, then left.
You thanked Billy for the drink and went to find Jacob. He was out in his garage. He looked rather frustrated.
“Thanks for going over for me.” You mumbled. He was obviously in a bad mood by the way he slammed down the tool he was holding and rummaged roughly through a toolbox.
“Didn’t do any good. They wouldn’t give it back. Charlie said you probably won't be able to get the money back.” He grumbled and frowned down at the toolbox.
“That’s ok. It didn’t cost much and I bet you’d be able to put it together safely.” You smiled as Jacob looked over at you and shook his head.
“Nope, puppy dog eyes aren't going to work this time!” Jacob insisted as you gave him your best pleading look. “Even if I wanted to. This thing is all cracked and broken. No one could fix this. But I could have a look at your car and see if I could fix anything. Maybe we can get the garage to lower the price of fixing it. If you think I’m letting you drive anything with less than four wheels and a roof you’re nuts.” Jacob smiled when you laughed and shook your head.
“I won't buy any more sketchy bikes from sketchy bike… sellers.” You promised and he nodded.
“I coil probably give you a ride to work a couple of days a week until you get some wheels.” Jacob muttered as you leaned against him. Your helmet sat on one side of the garage and you winced when you saw how badly dented it was. No wonder he’d been worried. You thought to yourself as he hugged you.

Type: Not requested
Genre: Definitely fluffy
Rating: pg
Warnings: None, this is smooth like butter:) (BTS ref hehe)
Word count: Approx. 4 200- 4300
Requests: Open!
Music recommendation: A twilight comfort reading playlist (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biw0FrjbB5c&list=WL&index=21) I suggest listening from 7:40 as I feel the songs are the most fitting beginning there:)
A/n: I am super excited about this fic! I feel like there's not that much content out there about Embry, so I wanted to contribute to adding more to this platform:) This is my first try at a gender-neutral fic, I really hope it's okay. If you ever have advice or comments about that particular aspect please feel free to message me about it! I want to learn how to do this right and constructive criticism is super duper welcome:) Just know I'm trying my best!!
I also got the inspiration for this fic from a headcanon. I've been searching around, but I can't find it anymore. I think it was about each member of the pack’s secret. Embry’s was that he secretly liked poetry. I will keep searching for it, but if you know who it is from please tell me so I'll be able to adequately source them here:)

Summary: Through a shared passion for literature and books, Embry and the reader get to know each other. What seems to be just a sweet hobby, will lead them towards a path filled with comforting and heartwarming moments.
“Atchoo.”
“Bless you.”
“Atchoo!”
“Bless you.”
“ATCHOO!”
“...Bless you.”
Six pairs of eyes turn to you, eyebrows arched, questioning your increased sneezing.
“You okay?”
“Yes, I’m...” Your eyes close slightly, and you feel the characteristical tickle in your nose foreshadowing another sneeze. “Fin...ATCHOOO”
“Ah come on! You’re getting it all on ME.” whines, Jared. He lifts his arms in the air in an attempt to block the attack but fails miserably. “Dear god, control yourself Y/n!”
“Stop making such a fuss Jar.” intervene Sam, unimpressed as ever with the boy's behavior. The others cannot help but make fun of their brother while he cleans his arm with a dramatic amount of soap. They are all aware that he is quite the drama queen at times.
“Sorry Jared, I don’t know what is going on with me. I can’t help but sneeze.”
“Maybe it’s hay fever?” Suggests Embry while handing you a tissue with a small smile.
“Maybe.” You blush and take it from his hand. You try to avoid his gaze but get entrapped in its brown depth the second you look at him.
He’s looking straight at you, and somehow it feels like time stops, as it seems to happen every time you interact with the quiet Quileute.
“Well, you should get treated.” Interrupts Jared in an annoyed tone.
“Yeah, I do not think mister drama queen here can endure more of your sneezing.” Adds Jacob, addressing his signature grin in your direction.
“Alright, I will get some meds at the drugstore.”
“I can come with you.”
You turn around to look back at Embry; he has gotten up, hands in his pocket. His kind eyes look unsure; he seems incredibly aware of the words that just left his lips. There is nothing but silence in the small cabin as everyone is waiting for your answer. The five boys are looking at the both of you, their eyes going continuously from Embry's face to yours.
“And why would you go?”
Oblivious being his middle name, Quil does not seem to feel the tension in the room. Neither does he understands Embry's subliminal message when he looks at him with threatening eyes.
“Emb? Aouch!” He lets out a small cry as Jared slaps his arm with the wet towel he just dried his hands with.
“Won't you shut up!” whispers his older brother.
“Uhm, my sister used to have hay fever every spring. I know what’s the good medicine.” Finally answers Embry, his eyes slowly going from Quil to you.
“Oh uh, yes sure.” Your face feels on fire, but you force yourself to give him a nod in agreement. As if you would ever reject his proposition anyway.
“Then go.” Hurries Sam. “The sooner you get the medicine, the faster you will stop sneezing like crazy.”
“See you later guys.”
You hastily head to the door without looking back. Your priority, getting out of the embarrassment-filled room before you melt in a puddle on the floor.
In your eagerness to get out, you don't catch Embry's relieved nod toward Sam. Jacob, Quil, and Jared are already acting like idiots, kissing the air, touching themselves in a mimick of an exaggerated make-out session. The killer look he addresses them only makes the werewolves burst out of uncontrollable laughter.
//
“Wow.”
Facing you, there seem to be a thousand different boxes of different colors. They all proclaim to be the best and most efficient sort of medicine there is on the market.
“So, what did your sister used?”
“Oh um... I think it was a... blue box?”
Incredulous, you look at him and then at the ten boxes of blue packaged medicine placed on the shelves.
“Anything a little bit more specific?”
“Uhm...” He keeps looking at the boxes as if one of them was about to magically jump in his hands and you are seriously starting to doubt his ability in medicine picking.
“Are you sure you know exactly what you’re looking for here?” You try to hold your smile as you see his slightly panicked expression.
“Well, it did have been a long time since I bought the medicine but”
“How long exactly?”
“Four years, maybe?” He melts in a shy smile, and you cannot contain yourself from laughing anymore. Far from being mad, you find it quite comical and can’t help, but question why he would ever suggest coming with you if he didn’t know what he was doing.
“Alright, then. Let us look at all the blue boxes Mr.The Expert.”
//
Once you get back in your car, the compartment fills up with Embry's wood-like smell. You breathe, maybe a little too loud, the subtle odor and wished you could bottle it up.
“Would you mind opening the glove box and give me gum, please? Take one if you want.”
As he opens the box, something falls to the ground. He picks with interest the used book between his feet. The cover page reads: “Pride and Prejudice.”
“Oh, sorry. That's my safety book. Just put it back in there.”
He smiles at you. “A safety book?”
“Yea, I always make sure to have a book within arms reach in case of boredom. I have read this one at least a thousand times, but it never gets old.”
“ ‘She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me, and I am in no humor at present to give consequence to young ladies who are slighted by other men.’ I always thought Mr. Darcy was kind of a pain in the ass.” he snickers while examining the book in a disinterested manner.
Your eyes grow at least two sizes when you hear the soft timbre of his voice reciting one of Mr. Darcy’s quotes perfectly. He stiffens suddenly in reaction to your surprised expression.
“What?”
“You- you read the book?”
“Yea, at least twice. It’s not my favorite. I don’t really understand Mr.Darcy, why he is so stuck up and thinks so highly of himself. I also don't get why he is not honest about all the good stuff he did. I know it is supposed to be about how he is so humble, but... it felt a little over the top for me. He could have gotten Elisabeth way faster if he hadn't been so obnoxious. But yeah, it is a great piece of literature, so I had to read it.”
You stare at him, your mouth slightly open in surprise. Never, EVER would you have thought Embry Call into literature. Never, EVER would you have thought he had an actual opinion about it, and never EVER would you have thought he could be any more perfect than he already was. You slightly reprimand yourself for this inner monologue. Just because he did not seem like the 'type to be into literature' you never should have made that kind of assumption. You have to keep an open mind, especially since something tells you you are up for many more surprises with Embry Call.
“I also much more prefer poetry.” He looks down at his hands, his voice lowered. He seems shy about revealing that piece of information. The fact that he still said it and was willing to let you know this about himself is making you feel giddy as ever. “I saw you read a lot. I thought we could, talk about it.”
“Yes, of course, I would love to.” You stare at him as your brain is running at super speed. You immediately think about all the books you could talk about, all the conversations and time that could buy you to spend in his company.
“You sure? You look a little…”
“Honestly, I never pictured you as the type of guy to like literature. I know I never should have made that kind of assumption about you just because of the nature of the activities you and the guys do. Plus the fact that you are a werewolf. I mean that should not prevent you from having different hobbies! That also doesn’t mean I didn’t think you were nice or interesting before! It's just I-”
Through your ranting, you started aggressively playing with your box of medicine. It’s not until you completely destroy one side of the package that you become aware of his complete silence. You peek at him, he is staring at you, his mouth twisted in a satisfied smirk.
“I’m so sorry… that was a hell of a rant. I- all I wanted to say is that I think it’s really cool... Maybe we could get some lunch and go somewhere to talk?”
//
You went to the local market to get some snacks before he brought you to one of his favorite places, a cute spot near one of the smaller beaches in the Reservation. It was on the verge of the woods, not so far; you could still hear the sound of waves crashing softly on the grieve. You grabbed an old blanket sitting in your trunk and sat down together.
Your afternoon was filled with laughter and passionate arguments. You were impressed and surprised by Embry’s knowledge of literature. He told you about how it was a hobby of his since he was a kid. He even confessed that it helped him get over the difficulties of phasing and entering the werewolves' world. He also has a deep knowledge of poetry, which you haven’t read that much, but are eager to learn more about. Your chin resting on your palm, a lazy smile on your lips, you listen to him with careful attention. You never heard Embry talk so much, to hear him do so with such excitement, you can not help but swoon. From time to time, your gaze drifts to his mouth. Observing the curves of his lips as he talks passionately about his favorites authors and pieces. A moment or two, he caught you but never said a thing. A subtle blush colored his amber skin while his dark eyes quickly darted towards your lips before he carried on with his explanation.
It was getting dark and colder as the sun went down. Your now empty stomach was gurgling desperately for some much-needed fuel. Your human body, not exactly made to resist cold temperatures such as mister werewolf right here, was by now completely taken over by goosebumps. When he realized you were shaking like a leaf, he felt so bad for not thinking about you. A hundred apologies spilled out from his mouth. You hoped that he might offer to warm you up in his incandescent arms, but Embry’s rational and timid psyche would not head in that direction. Even though secretly, the idea had crossed his mind a hundred times, he would not dare.
You drove him home and finished the afternoon with a ton of recommendations and a promise to reiterate the experience.
//
The following morning you were awoken by furious knocking on your door.
“Y/n!!! You are late for school! Get up. NOW.”
You gave a confused look to your alarm clock. 8:45 am. Shit. You were late. You sat up in your bed, feeling a little dizzy. Tissues sparkled around your bed like a minefield surrounding the area of your sickness. When your mother finally barged in to get you up, her brows furrowed with incomprehension.
“Are you okay hon?”
“I don't feel good... I think I might have caught a cold.”
She walked out, her voice echoing in the corridor of your house. “I knew it. You weren't wearing enough layers yesterday! It’s not summer just yet.” She came back in, thermometer in hand, to sit on your bed beside you. Pulling up the sleeves of her vest, she pressed her cold hand against your burning hot skin. “Open up.” She ordered.
Turns out you had a fever on top of all your other symptoms. She allowed you to stay home and called school. Being the overprotective mother she has always been, she almost took a day off to look after you, but after some talking, you convinced her it wasn't necessary. She finally left, assuring you could call her anytime if you needed her.
You spent the day sleeping, watching TV, and looking upon the net some of Embry’s recommendations. You did spend a lot of time laying in bed, looking at the ceiling, daydreaming, and replaying the past evening in a loop with a big dumb smile.
Leah came around later in the evening to give you your homework and updates about your missed day.
“Someone really seemed to miss you today...”
“Really? Who?"
“Don’t play dumb with me Y/n Y/l/n. You know who!” you bit your lip in a pathetic attempt to cover your excited smile.
“Alright then, tell me everything!”
“He kept asking about you and why you weren’t here. As I heard, I think you two had a quite nice evening together yesterday?”
You blushed hard and looked at your hands to avoid Leah’s upfront gaze.
“It was so nice Le. Embry is just such a nice guy to be around. We spoke loads about literature and books and…wow. There is something about him I can not explain...”
“Like something that inexplicably pulls you to him?”
“Yeah, kinda.” You’re impressed and relieved as soon as she said it out loud. That's the exact word to describe the way he makes you feel. “How did you know that?”
“Mh, just a lucky guess.” She seemed to be hiding something, which isn’t so unusual with Leah, she is a very secretive person, but if it was about Embry you were all ears.
You were about to interrogate her for further information when your mom came in to kindly lead your friend out. You needed to rest if you wanted to be able to get back to school fast.
“Oh, I might have given him your phone number too.”
“You what?!”
A mocking expression on her face, she waved goodbye without adding a word. You cursed her mentally and looked at your phone like it was a ticking bomb waiting to blow up.
In fact, about an hour later your phone buzzed twice almost making you fall out of bed. You had been trying to play it cool like you didn’t care, when, in truth, you had been anxiously looking at your notifications every five minutes for the past hour.
“Heard someone is sick?”
“Who is this?”
“Take a guess.”
“Give me hints.”
“Incredibly handsome, of an incomparable intelligence, well-read and thinks that Baudelaire maybe isn’t as good as he was thought to be.”
“Well, I don’t know about the first part, but there is only one person crazy enough to belittle such a poet as Baudelaire.”
“Hey!”
“Sorry🤷‍♀️”
“So, how do you keep busy?”
“Mostly used all my distractions for the day. Might go to sleep soon.”
“Unlock your window. I have something for you.”
You heard a little knock right away. If it wasn’t for the short notice, you probably would have woken up the whole neighborhood with your scream. Of course, you did squeal anyway, but at least it was not a full-on big ass banshee scream. You walked over, your oversized pajama hanging loosely around your figure. There in the shadows was Embry, a warm smile on his lips, holding something behind his back with an enigmatic look in his eyes.
“What are you doing here?” you whispered while looking around in the darkness.
“I have something for you. I thought it could help you pass time.” He handed you a book, its cover totally worn out, a clear sign of the many times it had been read. “I guess you could say this is my comfort book.” he grinned and lent a loving look towards the volume now resting in your hands. “There might be some notes here and there. I hope you won’t mind.”
You looked at the book while a wave of warmth overtook your stomach.
“It's perfect. Thank you so much Emb.”
“When you will finish reading it, we’ll have to talk about it. Gimme your opinion all that fun stuff.”
You paused for a second, taking in his adorable grin, and smiled. “Wait here.”
You went to your book-filled shelves, knowing precisely what you were looking for.
You were always a little uncomfortable with lending your favorites books to other people. In a way, giving someone a book was allowing them to see a hidden part of you. It was different with Embry, you wanted him to see these secret parts of you. You handed him the big volume, a shy expression on your face.
“It is only fair that I give you something to read in exchange. I hope you will like it too.”
A bright smile light up the boy’s face, his pearly white teeth shining in the dark night.
“I will take my time reading it. That way we will have to meet another time to talk about this one.”
You looked up to him, hope brightening your eyes. His expression was soft and so warm. A smile took place on your lips, his pupils focusing on them for a quick second before going back to your eyes.
“Alright, I will let you rest. Text me if you ever get bored.”
He gave you a little wink before silently running off in the forest without making a sound. You stayed by the window a little while longer. Still feeling as if what had just happened was unreal, although the beautiful gift he left you was a reminder that it did.
//
You stayed in another day, promising your mother you'd do your homework and would catch up easily. You also dedicated chunks of your day to read Embry’s book. It was a collection of poetry, and although he made it seem like there would be only a few notes here and there, each page was scribbled with his handwriting. Some phrases highlighted, corners of pages turned, a few smileys drawn here and there to signify his appreciation for a specific poem or verse. You weren’t sure what you enjoyed more; the book itself or the private access you had to each of his thoughts splattered on the pages.
The day went by incredibly fast; soon enough the sun went down, the shadows getting longer as it did. Your mother knocked on your door, announcing a visitor as you were getting ready to read some more in bed.
"Sure Le, come in." expecting your best friend to come in once again, you didn't even turn when you heard the door open.
“And can I come in?”
You spun on your heels to see your mother hiding behind your visitor with an amused smile. In front of her, you were surprised to see Embry and not Leah standing on the threshold of your door.
“Here are your homework for today. Leah... couldn’t make it tonight.” He scratched the back of his neck looking uncomfortable as ever. He reported his attention on your room, taking a quick look around while you were just standing there, waiting to see what would happen next. He relaxed and smiled when he saw the poetry collection resting on your night table. He pointed to it before looking at you with a curious grin.
“How’s the book?”
You spent a while talking about it, but soon enough, your mother started taking a few laps in front of your door. She would never come in and ask him to leave out of respect for you, but you knew it was time for the visit to end.
“I wish we could keep talking but…” you looked at your mother who, realizing she was caught, escaped towards the kitchen. You doubted he didn’t notice her presence but felt relieved when he didn’t say a thing. Understanding the hint, he took his leave of absence, but not before suggesting you leave your window open for some fresh air tonight.
After he left, you cleaned your room, went in for a quick shower, and delayed your mothers’ questions for later. You spent the rest of the night waiting for… something? You weren’t sure if Embry’s last comment meant to say more, but you could hope for it, right?
At 10:00 pm, you heard your mother’s quiet footsteps stopping for an instant in front of your door. With your lights closed, hidden in your covers just like when you were a child staying up too late to read a book, you prayed that she would go away. She did, extracting a sigh of relief from your lungs.
At 11:00 pm, you were convinced he would not come. Propped on your elbows you looked at your open window. You must have taken his innocent advice for something more. You couldn’t help a feeling of shame and a little bit of sadness creeping up in your heart. You were about to close it completely when a hand appeared from the darkness to stop it from its descent. You shrieked, terrified, and convinced you were about to die.
“What are you doing?!”
Recognizing the sound of Embry’s voice immediately reassured the furious thumping of your heart. You took a deep breath relieved to know you would not be killed by some monster tonight.
“Embry Call, you almost killed me with a heart attack!”
“I’m sorry, but you were about to close your window on my hand.”
He chuckled; his face and figure finally recognizable in the dim light given by your night lamp.
“May I come in?”
You stepped aside leaving him enough room to adroitly climb in. You were suddenly acutely aware of the lack of space in your small room. Even though Embry was not the biggest out of the pack, he was still above average height and size for a teenage boy. You sat on your bed, inviting him to take a seat on your desk chair.
The rest of the night was spent in whispers, hushed laughs, and throws of pillows when a funny joke was said, and you laughed a little too loud. At one point, you picked two books of your collection and read randomly picked passages to each other, discussing your opinions, thoughts, or fictional scenarios you’d create based on it. It was the most fun you had in quite some time. Your heart felt full; you wished the night would never end, but sadly, as your cellphone proved it, time had slipped until it was now 2:00 in the morning.
“Shit, I should probably go and let you rest…”
“You don't have to.” Emphasizing on the 'have' part, you hoped he would understand that you did not want him to leave at all. You even gave him your best smile as a persuasion technique.
“Y/n” he chuckled and walked towards you. You were buried head to toes in your blanket your eyes closing on themselves. “You’re about to fall asleep. You need rest if we want to be able to go on another adventure out together.”
“But…”
“Y/n…”
“Wait. First, I need you to hand me my box of medicine before you go.”
He did so, a smile crossing his lips as he picked the blue box you chose together at the drugstore.
“And I need my bottle of water.”
“Of course.”
“And I nee…”
“Y/n Y/l/n are you stalling?”
“Maybe…”
He laughed again at the display of your childish technique. Although this time he took a seat on your bed beside you, his arm laying innocently on your legs.
“If I read you one of my favorite poems. Will you go to sleep then?”
You nodded eagerly, handing him quickly his book. You shuffled on the side, patting the free space beside you for him to sit. He did so while you watched with interest the poem he chose.
“I knew this was your favorite.” You smiled proudly at him.
“And why is that?”
“Because you put two smileys at the last sentence, the corner of the page is folded, and it’s the only one you haven’t put any notes on.” You interrupted your observation with a yawn pointing to the page where the smileys were.“On all the other ones you wrote improvements, thoughts, opinions, but this one, nothing. I think it’s because you love it just as it is.”
You snuggled in your blanket, waiting for him to begin his reading. His gaze was set on you, the shadow of a soft smile on his face. You nodded, encouraging him to begin.
He started reading, his voice a whisper in the small cocoon that your room was. Just like the most beautiful lullaby, his voice was soothing and soft. It was taking you on a journey through each phrase and verse. His tone was clear, not an ounce of hesitation. His eyes were set on the page, but you knew he was not reading. He knew this poem by heart.
When he was done, your eyes were closed, your breathing slow and peaceful. He stared at you for a minute, completely entrapped in your aura. Nothing else existed; nothing else mattered at this moment. There were just the two of you, floating in the universe, unified in what felt like the most magical moment.
Reluctant, he knew he had to go. He tried to do so without making a sound, not wanting to wake you from what seemed to be the most peaceful slumber.
“Please stay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Please.” Your voice was faint and sleepy, but there was no doubt in your answer.
He sat back in, this time placing his arm around you and bringing you closer to his body. You sighed happily; you wouldn't be denied access to his incandescent warmth this time.
“I really like you Emb.”
“I really like you too Y/n.”
“We will have more days like the one we had?”
“I’d like that.”
“And more nights like this one too?”
“Anything you want.”

Heavy Cart - Jared Cameron x GN!Reader Imagine
A/N: Hopefully, this is my first imagine of the many with Jared Cameron, 'cause I feel bad that he's so underrated because he's so cute and hot at the same time
A/N 2: This is also my first gender-neutral reader imagine - I hope I write more of them, because, as I identify as a female, I have trouble getting into a man's shoes and how they perceive the world, so I hope I managed to make it an easy read for any male reader
A/N 3: I was inspired to write the story when I went to the supermarket with my mother and I also suffered from moving the cart around
A/N 4: The story takes places in Spring 2021
No. of Words: 2700+
Mentions of: C*vid-19-related issues, Death/loss of a parent, Blood, Mental health issues
Tumblr media
(Y/N)’s POV
“(Y/N), please move faster! We won’t have enough time to buy everything!” My mom was edging me once again. She wasn’t usually like this, but today she got her second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, so she was a little agitated as she was experiencing sharp pain in her arm. I told her it was the fault of the person who injected her; it wasn’t supposed to bleed - they must not have injected her correctly, and the needle pierced her vein badly.
Nevertheless, she was mostly worried she wouldn’t have enough time to shop for everything she wanted. I tried to reassure her that we had enough time to buy everything since the supermarket would close in 4 hours, which I had to remind her was more than enough time. I drove us to the supermarket, as I was the one who was able to drive - my mother had only driven for about a year after she got her driver’s license 15 years ago, and then just gave up.
So, the moment I got my driver’s license, I became my mom’s designated driver, driving her everywhere. Whenever I wasn’t able to drive her somewhere - either because I had school or an extracurricular activity, she would ask one of our neighbors who had cars and would drive to the city anyway. This was our life - it was just my mom and me, ever since my dad passed away, when I was 5 or 6 years old, I don’t really remember; I always tried to forget.
We used to live close to the Reservation, but ever since I left for college, my mom rented a house within walking distance from Forks’ town center, so she could do everything on her own, without getting others into trouble for her. When I graduated last year, we moved back to our old house, which we were renting until then, so my mom could have a steady income, apart from the little money she made working at a local restaurant.
Apart from the scholarship I had received in college, I was also working part-time at a cafe near my college to make extra money. Coming back from college, I thought I would not be able to get a job due to the pandemic, but thankfully a local accounting office was looking for employees, so I sent my resume and after a few interviews, I was hired for the job. I was lucky enough to have amazing employers who were truly understandable and let me work from home 3 times a week. It was a really good job; it paid well, and I was gaining a lot of experience and expertise. It also allowed me to stay close to my mom, and be able to take care of her.
Being just the two of us, we didn’t need too many things, so we would only drive to the supermarket every 3 or 4 weeks. Today was one of those times when we barely had any food at home, so we needed to go and buy groceries. Besides going to work, I was trying to postpone leaving the house as much as I could, so I dreaded every single time we had to go to the supermarket. Wearing masks was annoying, but necessary, and to be honest, I would wear one even if it wasn’t required. I knew that didn’t sit well with my skin, which started flaring up with zits here and there, but I was always a germaphobe anyway, so the pandemic was just what I needed for my mental health to flip out the window.
We arrived rather quickly at the supermarket; thankfully, the parking lot was not as packed as it usually was, though my mom and I still expected it to be filled within the next one or two hours. Surprisingly, the supermarket was quite big for La Push standards, and it was easily comparable with Forks’ supermarkets. The Quileute tribe put a lot of effort, time, and money to create a functional community, and that also included the supermarket. Usually, people from Forks would look down on people from the Rez, but the supermarket was just one of the factors that showed that La Push was just as good as Forks - apart from the fact that we literally were so close to nature and the beach, which people from Forks would often visit.
We put our masks on and took our reusable bags before exiting the car, and locking it behind us. The air around us was chilly, and there were signs of either rain or a storm coming. We quickly entered the supermarket, and I went to grab a shopping cart. There was an unprecedented silence around the store, which was unlike its usual commotion, and I was just thankful for the lack of people around. Usually, by that time, there were so many people around, barely keeping a distance between them, and my anxiety and nerves would reach the roof due to their ignorance for safety.
Moving around, my mom first led me through the kitchenware aisles. She was looking around the glasses aisle, murmuring that she needed to buy new glasses, but the kitchen was too small to fit more glasses, and she didn’t have enough money yet to renovate the kitchen. She had been talking about renovating the kitchen ever since my dad passed away, but she never did - at this point, I didn’t know if it was a money issue, or if the old kitchen reminded her of my dad, and she didn’t want to lose these memories of him. After all, he was the one who built the whole kitchen; who put together all the cabinets and counters; who spent the most time in the kitchen, cooking all the time because he loved cooking for his small family.
Moving around the aisles, we reached the linen, and my mom stopped. She asked me to help her around, because she needed to buy new linen, as most of the ones she currently had were starting to have holes from the extended use. I helped her by grabbing a few different bed sheets from the shelves for her to compare different patterns and qualities. She was quite indecisive between choosing plain sheets or the ones with the flower patterns. I told her I preferred the flower patterns - they looked more beautiful. She silently agreed with me and told me to put one pink flower-patterned set for a king-sized bed in the cart. She went to grab another set of the same pattern for my single bed, but I stopped her, telling her it would be easier to tell them apart in the drawers if they were of different colors. She looked at me like she was lost until she finally understood what I meant, and went on to grab a blue flower-patterned set with her good hand. We then bought similar sets for the pillow covers, before leaving the linen aisle.
We walked around, grabbing whatever my mom told me to get. I raised one eyebrow at her; she usually had a shopping list with her, which I always forced her to write in advance, because, most of the time, we ended up buying things we didn’t need, and filling up the shopping cart way too much. I asked her if she had an actual shopping list with her, and she showed me the paper she took out of her pocket, proud that she had made a shopping list on her own, as I forgot to remind her that day. I laughed at her childlike reaction; it was times like these that reminded me of how happy my mom used to be. I believed that she, indeed, needed all these things that she told me to put in the cart - shampoos, shower gels, styling foam for her hair, rice crisps, sodas, and so many other things that, unfortunately for me, made the cart heavier and harder to move around. The fact that many of the items were on sale did not help my case, as I could barely move the cart around, though my mom was moving around easily, as if she didn’t really feel a pain in her arm, ordering me to keep putting stuff in the cart.
Yet, I continued moving the cart around, dangerously close to colliding with other people and carts, as I was practically chasing my mom around the store, before losing her completely. I was still walking around, pushing the cart, trying to look for her. I had given her my phone before we left the car, as the pants I was wearing today did not have pockets, and I had nowhere to put it; I then thought we would stick together, but I did actually expect her to get lost somewhere inside the store, and leave me wandering around.
Not even five minutes into looking around for my mom, I took a turn on the snacks aisle where I thought I could find her, pushing the cart to follow my orders. Instead, in an effort of pushing it harsher, its weight acted as an accelerating force, spinning around, pulling me with it. And suddenly, the cart stopped with a loud crash, and a young man yelping in pain from the unexpectedly harsh collision. Said man was laying on the floor, sitting on his butt, rubbing his side, eyes closed, and shouting profanities. I was shocked and so embarrassed that I hit someone with my cart. My cheeks were burning, my eyes widened. I quickly ran by his side.
“Oh my God! I’m so, so sorry! I lost control of the cart! I'm so sorry!” As the man did nothing to reply back to me but kept murmuring to himself, I started losing my calm. “I’m so sorry! Can I help you in any way? Make it up to you?”
The man turned to look away from me, clearly angry under his black mask. “Can you stop? I’m clearly in pain, and I cannot listen to you right now!” He sounded upset and angry, and I gulped in fear.
Another man, who looked similar to the man I had hit but was more muscular, came by us, seeing everything that happened. “Come on, Jared. It was clearly an accident. Besides, you didn’t even get a scratch. Stop exasperating!” He then turned to look back at me, his eyes smiling, and waved at me. “Hi, I’m Paul. I’m sorry for my friend’s reaction.”
The man I had hit, Jared, turned his head up to look at his friend. “Are you serious, Paul? They couldn’t even look around…” He suddenly stopped yelling when he turned around to meet my gaze with his one. His eyes widened, and he kept staring at me for a few seconds, not saying a thing.
I thought there was something seriously wrong with him. “I’m so sorry! Are you okay? Have I hurt you in any way? I’m really sorry!” I started panicking, trying to figure out if he was okay, or he had a concussion or something because he still hadn’t spoken a word to me or his friend; he just stared at me, lost in thought.
His friend started laughing for reasons I couldn’t understand. “Oh, man! Oh, man! You got it bad! Welcome to the club! Finally!” He was laughing and clapping his hands at the sight of his speechless friend. I still had no idea what was going on.
“Listen, my mom will probably start looking for me soon. Let me give you my number, just in case anything happens, if you feel dizzy or sick, or if you got a concussion or something. I promise I’ll take care of the medical expenses, should you need anything, okay?” I could probably not afford his medical expenses, but his lost gaze made me feel terribly guilty about what I may have caused to the young man.
“No, no. It’s okay. I’m okay. Don’t worry about it.” He quickly stood up, his eyes smiling, handing me his phone. “But, you can give me your number. You know, just in case I may need anything.”
I smiled under the mask and wrote my number down on his phone. “(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Come on, we’re gonna get late!” My mom’s voice interrupted us, and I turned around to look at my impatient mom raising her eyebrow, looking at my interaction with Jared.
I sighed. “Coming, mom..” I turned back to Jared, trying to look as apologetic as I could under the mask. “I’m sorry. Got to go now. Goodbye, Jared. Goodbye, Paul.” I said my goodbyes to the two guys before I attempted to turn the incredibly heavy cart around.
“Hey, wait!” Jared stopped me, running towards me. “Let me help you. You know, so you don’t collide with anyone else, and have to give them your number, too.” His eyes were kind and somehow started sparkling when I accepted his help.
I didn’t know how he seemed to easily move the cart around, not struggling for a second. Okay, it wasn’t that I was weak; I was pretty strong for someone who was never into exercising, weightlifting, and such. But Jared seemed extremely strong, and his muscles flexed slightly under his long-sleeved tight shirt when he was pushing my cart around. He caught me staring at him, but didn’t say anything; he was just smiling and laughing quietly. I don’t know why my heart was beating so fast upon hearing his laughter, but his laughter sounded like music to my ears.
My mom seemed to question the two of us under her mask but didn’t say anything else, when I simply told her that I hit Jared with the cart she forced me to fill up with seemingly unnecessary stuff, and now he was offering to help me to save everyone else from any possible collisions. Thankfully, there weren’t many more things my mom needed, so we were done within the next ten minutes.
We went through the cash register fairly quickly, and for, probably, the first time since the pandemic started, we didn’t spend as much money as we did the previous times. Though the cart was extremely heavy, what we bought wasn’t nearly as expensive as the other times, probably because we didn’t buy as many fruits and vegetables, or as much meat as we used to. My mom had recently started growing her own vegetables in our own garden with extreme success, so we only bought what we couldn’t grow.
I expected Jared to get back to Paul after we exited the supermarket, but he followed us, helping me load the bags in the trunk, as my mom could only stand and stare. I just told her to get in the car and make herself comfortable, as Jared was helping me lift the bags off the cart and onto the trunk. He barely let me take a single bag, as he took everything out of the cart, only asking me where I wanted to put the bags. Holy hell, that was so attractive for a man to do, especially for a man like Jared.
After we loaded everything into the car, I closed the trunk, thanking Jared, and went on to get to the driver’s seat and leave. However, Jared stopped me, placing his hand on my arm, not putting any pressure on it; he just touched me enough to get my attention.
“Hey, I was wondering..if you wanted to go out sometime. For a coffee, or lunch, or a movie, whatever you want, really.” He sounded nervous. Was he asking me on a date?
“Sure. I’m free on the weekend when I don’t work. So, just text or call me, and we can go wherever you like.” I smiled at him, hoping he understood the reaction under my mask.
“Yeah. Yeah, I can do that. Thank you.” On the spur of the moment, he leaned forwards, hugging me tightly, before stepping away. “Bye, (Y/N). See you!” He ran away, going back to the supermarket, probably to meet up with Paul.
I was stunned as to what happened right now. My heart was pounding, I was slightly shivering, and I was pretty sure I had the stupidest-looking grin under my mask. I didn’t even register what happened today, but whatever it was, I was too excited; too willing to meet up with Jared once again.

Can you do An Embry Call Request If I’m not annoying you or bothering you
Thank you for the request!
Inspired by Mayday Parade - Jamie All Over
Warning: hints at smut
“Embry!” you gasped, salt water dripping off your chin as Embry cackled mischievously.
It was a rare sunny day- the perfect time for Embry to surprise you with a trip to La Push beach.
You kicked up your foot, sending water and discarded kelp in his direction- the brown algae dangled across his forehead.
“Oh, it’s on now,” Embry growled playfully, charging forwards and grabbing your waist, twirling you until you both fell to the sand laughing.
The sandy area was secluded, walled off by rocks and dense vegetation, just big enough to lay out a beach blanket.
Embry rolled over you- propped up by his arm- wearing a small smile that screamed admiration.
“What?” you questioned, searching his peaceful expression.
He snorted quietly before leaning down and kissing you softly. “You're perfect, you know that?”
You rolled your eyes and scoffed, a light shade of pink dusted your cheeks, “I don’t know about perfect,” you drawled, teasing.
Embry chuckled, poking your side, “Oh, please, you’re beautiful,” one kiss, “you’re smart,” another kiss, “you didn’t run when I told you that I can shift into a giant dog…”
You laughed loudly, cupping his face in your hands, “You’re such a goof.”
He slowly leaned down, “Yeah,” he shrugged, “but I’m your goof,” he pecked your lips once, twice, three times before you pulled him closer and trapped his waist between your thighs.
Embry hummed, his head tilting back as you tugged his hair gently, a wide grin pulling at the corners of your lips.
He peeked down at you, a gleam in his eye, “We’re playing that way, huh?”
You nodded, biting your lip with anticipation.
“Well, in that case,” he yanked your hips against his, leaning down to whisper in your ear, “game on, sweetheart.”

The Way I Loved You - Leah Clearwater
Leah Clearwater x Gender Neutral Call Reader / Angela Webber x Gender Neutral Call Reader
CW: Language, Mentions of an absent father
Summary: In which they realize that they aren’t ready to move on from the wildness of a past relationship
Inspired by Taylor Swift’s “The Way I Loved You”
2.1K words
They were lucky, trust them, they know. Angela was great, she was close to their mother and brother and she would constantly invite them to come hang out with her friends. She had a gentleness that was unmatched by anyone else and always seemed to know what to say when they were on the verge of tears. Everyone that they knew reminded them that people would kill for a girl like that, even their brother who helped set them up swore he was jealous. And they knew that other people being jealous of them should make them feel some sort of way, but they weren’t feeling anything towards it. (Y/n) had no business in that relationship, they really had no business being on that date. But they promised Embry that they were done dwelling on the past, so when he set them up, they felt required to at least try.
And some part of them really believed it was working for a while, and then they passed that old bookstore during the rain, and (Y/n) was sobbing in the front seat of Angela’s car. The girl tried her best to calm them down, a hand rubbing their back as she softly asked what was wrong. But they didn’t know how to tell her that they were sobbing over another girl. Flashes of them kissing in the rain, Leah would laugh and grab their hand before pulling them into the store. Both of them having their wet, and (Y/n) would laugh about how they always wanted to do that. They couldn’t crush Angela like that, instead lying that the last time they saw their father was in that area.  She believed them though, and maybe it was because it wasn’t a complete lie. That was the last place that they had seen their father, he tried reaching out but they weren’t interested by that point.  After that mess, Angela had offered to take them home, (Y/n) promising her a rain check.
So now, they were there at that rain check, a mug of hot chocolate gripped tightly in their hands. Angela was telling them about what she had done earlier that day, the summer officially in effect and her friends were taking full advantage of it. They were doing their best to pay attention, they really were, but their mind was elsewhere. Embry had spent the night at Quil’s the night before, the boy not answering any of their calls or texts, nor those from their mother. Something was off about the day and that added to the fact that they knew they weren’t ready to be on this date was combining to make them spacey. They were picking up on some of it, something about some guy named Mike chugging a whole two liter of Mountain Dew and hitting his head on a garage door. That was about as much as they got though. “Yeah and then we decided that we wanted to go to La Push Beach this weekend if you were interested in going. My friends really want to meet you,” the girl’s words brought them back into the conversation. “Yeah, that sounds fun. They seem cool, is Bella going?” Angela paused, tapping her fingers on the table, “I’m not sure, we couldn’t get her on the phone today, she’s not answering texts either. I can ask her though, I know it would probably feel nicer to have people you know there.” The girl perks up before adding, “You could invite your brother and I think their names were Jacob and Sam? We met them last time we went, they were really sweet guys.”
It caught them off guard, of course they knew that Angela knew people they did, it just caught them off guard that she would want them there. “Oh, uh, I don’t know. Sam and Jacob have been really busy and I can’t really get in touch with Embry right now.” Angela’s face softens, “Is he mad at you?” “No, he went to a friend’s house last night and mom and I just can’t get him to answer us. Maybe he just left his charger at home or something though.” As if on cue their phone went off. (Y/n) frantically pulled it out of their pocket, expecting the worst of it. Opening it to a text from Embry they felt themself hold their breath. “Jake is hurt, at Billy’s. Gonna be home late, cover for me.” Their eyes must have grown wide because Angela reached over to grab their hand. “Is everything alright?” They shake their head, grabbing their stuff as they stand up, “No I’m so sorry to cut things short again but I have to go.” The girl gives them a sweet smile, standing up with them, “Is Embry okay?” They nod, patting their pockets to find their keys, “Yeah he’s fine. One of his friends is hurt, I need to go see what happened. I’m sorry.” “No, hey, don’t be sorry it’s fine. You didn’t expect something like this. Had Bella texted me like that after today I’d probably be running too.”
She kisses their cheek softly, “I’ll call you tomorrow morning?” “Yeah,” they nod softly, pulling their keys from their pocket, “I’ll talk to you then.” The elder Call sibling was dashing out of the dinner at that point, rushing to their car. They took every short cut they could on the way to the Black residence. Of course, they trusted Embry but a part of their brain was screaming that he was lying about something and they had to know that he wasn’t actually the hurt one. The familiar house of their childhood appears before them in such a record speed that they realized they had been speeding the whole way there. Bella’s old truck and a collection of people they had known their whole life stand outside the building. The before mentioned girl not being found amongst the group. The world suddenly felt a little slower as the worry began to die off. They were scared for Jacob of course, but worry from the whole day had begun melting at that point.
“Embry!” Their voice had all eyes on them, the boy coming down to meet them. “Hey, weren’t you with Angela?” “Yeah but, I panicked a little, had to leave. What happened to Jacob?” “Cliff diving accident,” Sam’s voice startles them as he walks up to the siblings, “He jumped wrong, hit a rock, he has a few broken ribs.” “Why is he,” they pause, looking up to the house, “Why is he here? Shouldn’t he be seeing a doctor?” “Doctor Cullen was willing to make a house call for us,” Embry grabs his older sibling’s shoulder, rubbing it slightly, “Jake will be okay. I’m gonna stay here for a little longer, we’re helping Billy out with dealing with this. Can you cover for me with mom? I don’t need her worrying.” They nod, giving him a hug, “I’m glad you’re okay. I always said that cliff diving stuff was crazy.”
“If I remember right, you used to love it,” the voice made their heart stop for a second. “Yeah, well we’re all crazy at some point,” they don’t turn to meet her gaze. Embry gives them a look of pity and it makes them feel weak. “I’m gonna head home. Adrenaline crash I think, uh, if you need a ride home call me, I’ll keep my ringer on.” He nods, ruffling their hair, “I’ll see if Bella can drive me home, if not, Sam and Emily have to head back out that way at some point. Can you make sure the window is unlocked?” They nod, turning back to the car. “Bye (Y/n)!” The call comes from the familiar voice of Seth Clearwater, making them turn back and send him a wave.
The pack watches silently as they get back into their old car, pulling out of the yard. “So they were on a date tonight?” The soft voice of Quil grabs Embry’s attention. “Yeah, it’s one of Bella’s friends. Real great girl but I don’t know if it’s really working out.” Quil raises an eyebrow, “Not ready yet?” The shake of the boy’s head earns him a scoff from the other side of the yard. “They shouldn’t have to be. I don’t see why we had to break up to start with,” Leah’s words grabbed the attention of the rest of the pack. “We’ve talked about this,” Sam sighs, running a hand through his hair, “They’re not an imprint and when you do find one-” His words get cut off, “What if I don’t want to find one? I was perfectly happy how I was, so were they.” Sam sighs, this was an argument the two have had in private a million times before but he’s cut off before he can start.
“God, you know it doesn’t work like that, and I’m not willing to let you or anyone else put them through that. They’re already cursing your name and sobbing about how they don’t think they can love anyone like you again. There’s no way I’ll let you make it worse.” The outburst from  Embry was shocking to the group but even so, everyone knew his family was a sore spot when it came to wolf business. “Well I don’t see how me lying to them while you have them going on little dates is any fucking better,” Leah’s arms are crossed over her chest, staring over at the boy. “You know that they’re not your soulmate, that’s basically the whole point of imprinting isn’t it? I’m not going to let you mess around with my family until you meet your imprint. I already have to hear them crying about how much they miss having someone wild like you around, sobbing about kissing in the rain and trying to figure out what they did while on the phone with Rachel at two in the morning. I would rather die than see how bad they’d be if you were suddenly head over heels for someone the day you left them.” The two are glaring at each other, “Well at least I’d be honest with them at that point. Have you ever considered that maybe I feel the same way? I’m not doing just fine just because I know about the wolf bullshit that they can’t.”
The argument is cut off as Bella walks through the door, hugging her arms close to her chest. “Am I interrupting something?” Embry shakes his head, “No it’s fine. Do you think you can take me home?” The brunette nods, grabbing her keys from her jacket pocket. “We’re not done here, Embry.”  He sends her a look, “No, we are. We aren’t playing the heartbreak long game with my family.” The boy storms down to the truck’s passenger side, Bella struggling to keep up with him. “Can you at least tell them that we miss them?” The words don’t come from Leah that time, instead being from Seth who is looking at him with some sort of hurt gentleness, a hand waving between himself, Quil, and Jared. “Yeah Seth, I can do that,” he nods, climbing into the truck as Bella unlocks it.
Their drive to his house is silent, Bella not knowing how to bring up the argument she had walked into and Embry staring out the window to avoid making eye contact. With a soft thank you the boy is out of the truck and up to his own window, thankful that his sibling had so graciously left it unlocked. Pulling himself up into the house he lets out an aggravated sigh. The day has been draining, keeping secrets is draining, (Y/n) and Leah are draining. And he knows he isn’t helping himself out in some regards but then again, he was stuck in thinking he was right. He knew that Sam was on his side in the final matter and if (Y/n) could know, he would like to hope that they would be on his side too. Regardless though, he could hear them on the phone through the walls. “No Rachel, you don’t get it she fucking, she fucking acts just fine. Like she didn’t end things out of nowhere two months ago and now she’s trying to make jokes?” The sound of their voice goes quiet for a moment before picking back up, “No, that’s different. I just did that for Bella and Em. She’s great don’t get me wrong but I think,” there’s another pause, “Yeah exactly. She doesn’t deserve to be with someone who isn’t going to be there for her. I just, I can’t be that right now.”

Seth x Reader: Wanting you
Warning: Breaking fourth wall. Let me know if you catch it 😉 and gender-neutral parental names
Part 1: “Dreams” by Ella Eyre
Part 2: “You’ve Got It Bad” by Usher
Part 3: “Never Give Up on Love” by Bobby Tinsley

Y/n POV
“Will that be all for you?” I say, finishing up writing down the order.
“Well, I could get your number, beautiful.” One thing that is horrible about being a waitress is dealing with the harassment that comes with it. The best way to deal with verbal harassment (like in this situation) is by giving them the “AS,” as my friends would call it. The Awkward Stare. Now, this stare isn’t having ME become awkward; oh no, this is to make sure THEY do. Essentially, you would look at the predator straight in the eyes and give a resting bitch face until they become uncomfortable and silent. To the point where the whole table is uncomfortable. Kind of like your high school teacher would look at the student when no one would shut up. Once they were fully engaged in avoiding my eyes, I gave a final smile and went put in their order at the counter.
“You know, you could be a little less cute and more intimidating?” said Orion, my now lifetime best friend since I had started this job a couple of months ago. I turn to look at him and give him the finger as he walked around me to bring his tables their food.
“He does have a point. Straighten up your back more, pull your shoulders back, and clock your head to the side just a little. That way, you’ll really knock them.” Emily said. She was a regular here. Every Wednesday at 4 pm and Sunday at 12:30 pm, she would come in, go to her usual spot at the counter, and either order the chiefs salad with a side of a sliced pickle, the garden burger with seasoned fries, or 5 stack pancake with orange/apple juice. Her husband Sam or another kid named Jared and his girlfriend Kim come on Sunday morning, grabbing a crap ton of food (so Emily doesn’t have to cook) and leave. Polite men, scary—at least Sam can be, but polite. Jared is just a child, and I can do nothing but pray for Kim.
“You mean like that ugly pink toad lady from-”
“Don’t say it!” I roll my eyes. Ever since KJ Bowling expressed her feelings towards the LGBTQA+ community, she refuses to acknowledge it. The disbelief and sadness that took over for the love of Henry Planter she had were wild, yet kind of crazy to watch.
“Look, it could be worse. You could love the Dawn saga by Tephanie Neyer and find out that she is horrid in disguise. But hey! Once it hit 2 years, you’ll start realizing all the fucked-up shit in the series and slowly be okay. Dawn fans know Tephanie is fucked up, we know the series is fucked up, we acknowledge it all and take full responsibility for liking it, but some still like it. We don’t support it, but we like it.” I tell her, shrugging my shoulders. I have to remember, she’s a rookie in this game.
“That’s true. Why are the best authors the most fucked up?” she says, playing with her fries I just placed down in front of her.
“Because they hate us and know what the population likes. Just like politics.” I say, stealing one of her fries.
“I don’t know how you guys like that series! Wasn’t there racism, classism with the Ghoul’s and Werecats, hyper-sexualization on the prides where the cats came from, misinformed information, plagiarism, and too, I don’t know, squishy and fluffy in them?” Orion asked.
“First off, they were shapeshifters. Secondly, only in Dawn, Dusk, and Night were squishy. But only because Bethany and Elliot were on their honeymoon in the last one. Daytime didn’t have it because Elliot broke up with Bethany.” I nod in agreement while grabbing the food for my tables.
“I thought their name was Ben and Evy?”
“No, that’s the gender swap version,” I say, walking away with the food. I place the food down at one table and refill drinks to another; some of the reservation guys come in. Seth, Embry, Jake, and Quil. I look over to Orion to call him for his table, but it looks like he and Emily are in a heated discussion about the book series. So, I take over for him. As I walked over to the table, I made eye contact with Seth, and my stomach flipped.
Why you in my dreams? Don't know much about you But I heard about you for the longest time And I see you 'round whenever I go out With some friends of mine And I remember when I saw you standing in a different light It's funny where my mind goes when I'm in my bed at night though
As I lay in bed, I notice that my feelings become stronger and stronger for him almost every time I see him. He was a few inches shorter than me, cheerier, and lanky. I always saw Seth and his friends, but out of nowhere, these…flutters? Feelings? Emotions I don’t like started eating me up every time I see him. I know it might be a crush, I won’t even deny that, but…why?
I toss and turn that night and eventually give up on trying to sleep and just stare at the ceiling, thinking of him. Confused and resistant to even wanting to think about it. The last thing I need is to be in a relationship while in my fucked situation as is. I don’t need my guardians knowing anything about Seth either.
But then again, just like evil authors, life fucks us all over, and you can help but go along with it. Well, unless you sue them. Then that’s different.
'Cause I push you away in real life You ain't even close to my type But when I'm sleeping Everything's upside down, upside down, yeah I saw you last night in my, my dreams It felt so beautiful, I almost believed We were a thing and I liked it I never looked at you like this Till I saw you last night in my, my dreams Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my?) Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my mind?) Seth POV
I saw her again today. She was walking down the hallway with Orion and Kayla to gym class, and we made slight eye contact before Jake decided to take my attention away from her. I look at him, but I don’t really pay attention to him. I don’t know when it happened, but I have always loved Y/n. When she transferred here in middle school, she was cute, shy, and had (and still has) a babyface.
I could never talk to her. Every time I was around her, I’d get so scared and freeze up. And although we’re in high school, I still can’t control it. Lately, my feelings have been getting stronger. Not just with her, but in general. I don’t know what it is, but it’s taking a lot more of my energy trying to control myself. Leah and mom have noticed it too. But Embry was the worst. Speaking of which,
“Hey, where’s Embry?” Quil and Jake looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
“But did you hear a word I said?”
“Obviously not. He was too busy gawking at Y/n.” Quil said, laughing. I rolled my eyes and walked away. Ass-whores.
After school, we head to the diner and, like always and on cue, Jake and Quil make fun of me because Y/n works there. I roll my eyes at them and attempt to push them off me without smiling, but I can’t help it; they’re stupid. It’s not their fault.
Fell asleep at nine And once I closed my eyes, girl, you were so, so mine We laid in the dark, you left in morning light But, girl, it felt so right And if it's in our minds then we should make it life Girl, I mean real, real life Nothing's never for ya We were all and over for ya 'Cause I push you away in real life You ain't even close to my type But when I'm sleeping Everything's upside down, upside down, yeah I saw you last night in my, my dreams It felt so beautiful, I almost believed We were a thing and I liked it I never looked at you like this Till I saw you last night in my, my dreams
That night I quickly dreamed of her without even having to try to at this point. Every time I want to or attempt to talk, I freeze. Thinking about her just makes me feel…warm. Her beautiful y/e/c eyes are captivating. They’ll draw you in, and once you’re in, you’re stuck. Her y/h/(L/C/T) hair embraces and defines her facial features.
The dream always starts out the same. I’m running through the forest at a high fast pace towards a place that always ends up being her home. I follow around the house to her room on the left side of the house towards the forest. As I look at her window, I see her sitting at the window seal and we instantly make eye contact. My heart stops for a second—she smiles and I walk up to her window to come inside. She doesn’t open the window. She places her hand on the window and my much larger now hands cover hers. We look at one another and smile.
I’m not bothered by her not opening the window. I’m just happy she isn’t freaked out about my presence. Unfortunately, every time she goes to open the window, my alarm wakes me up. And when I mean alarm, I mean Leah.
I groan and curse her and the need to wake me up so early. As I get ready, I think of Y/n and I can’t help but smile. Today’s going be a good day.
Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my?) Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my mind?) Y/n POV
The weekend comes and I’m heading in for my shift Sunday morning. I usually wouldn’t work weekends, but that was before I met Emily. I have Friday and Saturday off instead. It’s eight in the morning and Kayla, two of the cooks, and I all pile in before we open at nine. By 9:30, a few families start piling in and by 10, we have the food catered to Sam or Jared ready.
“Hey, Kim!” I wave to her as she walks into the diner. She waves back and heads to the counter. After setting up my table, I head over to the food and help her pack it up in the truck.
“I see you guys ordered more food than usual. Did more family members move into the area?” I say, passing her the multiple trays from the cart to the car.
“Yeah…something like that,” she laughs it off, “but rest assure, this will be gone within the next 45 minutes…maybe sooner.” I laugh with her. I believe her 100 percent. After seeing Jared and Sam, I already know their family that Kim describes them to be, is just as big, if not larger, then this food should hold them off for 2 hours. Maybe.
“Well, that’s all of them: drive safe, Hun. And stop by sometime after school. You’ll miss the adventures of Orion and Emily arguing over pink and rose gold.”
“Aren’t they different?” I nod my head. “But they’ll argue over that?” I nod my head again. She shakes her head and smiles. “Em usually starts it?”
“Sometimes. Only when she needs a good laugh or when she just feels like fucking with him. Last week they were in a heated discussion about the Dusk saga.”
“Oh, dear god! She told me about that. I can’t believe she went that deep into it with him.” Kim laughs.
“I know. That’s probably the only time they’re not being repelling off the same topic. Normally one would disagree for the fuck of it, but they put their fuckery aside and agreed to agree on that topic.” We both laugh. I finish up my conversation with Kim and head inside.
If I gotta fall asleep, sleep to see ya Then I'm gonna fall asleep, sleep to see ya It's different in the daylight Miss you, I dunno know why If I gotta fall asleep, sleep to see ya Let me fall, fall deep, deep to see ya It's different in the daylight See you in a new light 'Cause I push you away in real life You ain't even close to my type But when I'm sleeping Everything's upside down, upside down, yeah
I wave bye to Em, and Orion comes in. I clock out for my break and go sit in one of the booths in the back. As I am prepping my garden burger with ketchup, I think back to my dream I had last night. This one was recently new, confusing, but knew. I take a much-needed bite of my food and relax for the next 15 minutes.
I just got done with my daily nighttime routine, unable to sleep due to Taylor and Kennedy arguing, I go to my window and look outside. I look up at the sky and just drift off into a world of daydreaming until something catches my eye in the bestrew of trees next to my house. As I continue to look, I see big brown eyes of an animal. I smile and the animal walks out of the trees slowly and morphs into Seth. I smile brighter as he comes closer and closer to me. By the time he reaches me, I can feel myself become excited and full of glow, happiness, and this sensation of warmth.
He steps up to the window and smiles down at me. I place my hand on the cold glass and he looks down at my hand and does the same. I can feel the heat radiating from his skin, which only makes me smile more. I unlock the window and just as I am about to open it, my alarm wakes me up.
I’ve been stuck on this for so long that Orion had to shake me out of my daydream. I put my food aside for later and went back to work. I’ll just deal with the dream another time.
I saw you last night in my, my dreams It felt so beautiful, I almost believed We were a thing and I liked it I never looked at you like this Till I saw you last night in my, my dreams Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my?) Why you in my dreams? (Why you in my? Why you in my mind?)

Imagine spending the day with Embry.
It was a beautiful Spring day when you found yourself sunbathing beside Embry in freshly blooming meadow.
The wild grass was bright, vivid, and soft to the touch, swaying gently in the warm afternoon breeze.
Pops of pink, yellow, and white were sprinkled throughout the sea of green, complimenting the pastel blue sky stippled with fluffy white clouds.
Embry snuggled further into the crook of your neck, sighing contently.
“Now this,” He murmured wrapping his arms around your waist, “Is my kind of day.”
You chuckled in agreement, tracing patterns on his bare back, and making small trails in his hair, easily feeling his smile against your collarbone.
You could get used to this.

Imagine laying underneath the stars on La Push beach with your lovable imprint’s arm wrapped around you.
How the smell of the ocean’s salty air seemed to mix perfectly with their intoxicating scent.
The way the waves seemed to lap against the sandy shore in rhythm with their steady heartbeat as it gently lulled you to sleep.
And how their glistening eyes seemed brighter than any star whenever they gazed upon you.

Date Night Savior (Embry Call x Reader)
                                               (Y/N) - Your Name
"You're lucky you're one of my closest friends," I told Bella, glancing over at the passenger side and giving her a playful glare.
Bella gave me an uneasy smile, "I really appreciate you coming along, (Y/N)," She bit her lip and looked out the window, "I don't think I could've done this alone."
I parked the car in the semi-filled lot in front of the movie theater, where inside Mike and his friend were supposedly waiting for the both of us.
We anxiously stared at the entrance of the movie theater, another challenge that we would be facing together. Peeking a glance at my friend, I felt a small smile pull at the corners of my mouth. So many things had been happening between the both of us, and it was time that we both had a little fun.
I inspected the colorful spotted carpet underneath me the three of us stood in the line for the concession stand. Mike had been trying to keep a conversation with Bella, who was too busy giving me questioning looks.
The original plans for tonight was to be a double date with Mike and his friend, Calvin. Bella didn't want to go with Mike alone, so as a compromise, Bella only agreed to come as long as I could join and have a date of my own, which sounded fun, until Mike's friend had to cancel last minute.
"Are you sure about this, (Y/N)?" Bella questioned as we stepped away from the line while Mike busied himself with his own order.
"What are you talking about?" I knew Bella was worried about me being alone, but just because my night was bound to be a bust, I wasn't going to let it affect hers.
Bella gave me a pointed look, "We can go home," She suggested, watching as I took a sip from my drink. "Bella, I'm fine, just worry about your night with Mike."
Bella sighed, biting her lip as she prepared to say something else, only to be cut off, "Bella!"
We both turned at the sound of her name being called, watching as a male with long dark hair approached us with a bright smile, beside him his friend kept his gaze at the floor.
"Jake? What are you doing here?" Bella asked once the two stood in front of us. "Embry and I came to see the new release," He trailed off, voice faltering under Bella's gaze.
While Bella was busy with Jake, I glanced over his friend, wondering it was really his idea to come, or if he was just dragged here as an excuse.
His russet skin was covered by a pair of worn in jeans and a grey shirt, and unlike Jacob, his dark hair was cut short.
Mike walked up to us with a nervous smile, "You guys ready?" He asked, giving Jacob and his friend a once over. "Yeah, come on Bella," I smiled, taking her hand and ignoring the guilt of forgetting Mike's presence.
As the three of us turned to walk away, Jacob's friend's eyes met mine- a beautiful shade of brown that sparkled against the yellow hue of the theater's lighting.
I could feel his stare boring into my back as the three of us entered the viewing room, leaving the two behind in the lobby.
Going up the inclined walkway, we found our seats quickly.
"You guys ready to get your gore on?" I asked with an excited smile, taking note of Mike's queasy nod, "Yeah!" He exhaled nervously.
The room had yet to go dark, and people were still coming into the room- Bella took a seat between Mike and I.
The three of us were testing out the small quiz when my phone began to vibrate in my pocket, my Mom had been calling.
"I'll be right back," I told Bella, scooting through the isle and back out into the hallway of the theater.
Going back to my seat, I glared at the familiar long haired male who had snagged my seat next to Bella.
Bella gave me a sympathetic smile when I moved past them and took my seat between Jake and his friend, Embry- my drink and snack already waiting in the cup holders.
Feeling thirsty, I made sure to elbow Jacob in the arm harshly when I grabbed my drink, only to give his accusing glare a cheesy smile.
This earned a snicker from my left, Embry gave me an award winning smile, making me thankful that the dark room hid my blush.
The room was filled with a female scream, and before anyone knew what would happen next, Mike shot up from his seat, covering his mouth, "I'm going to throw up."
Everyone shared a look before Bella and I followed after him, Jacob and Embry walking close behind.
Mike darted into the bathroom, and Bella walked further down the hallway with Jacob, who called Mike a Marshmallow.
"So," Embry started, looking down at the ground at our shoes, "Did you get dragged to the theater too?"
"You could say that," I shook my head, letting out a sigh, "Date canceled."
Embry's face shot up, "What?" He questioned, catching me off guard, he rubbed the back of his neck.
He cleared his throat, "It's just, I don't see why. You seem really cool," He stated, making me smile.
Maybe this night wasn't a bust after all.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
AN: Hey Guys!
This is just mini-stories I’ve thought up since the wakening of Midnight Sun. I’ve jumped on the wolf pack stories and I am doing Seth, Embry, and Paul. These will be realistic scenarios cause not all stories have a happy ending.
Rules/Guidelines:
1. All characters are the same age (at least 14+)! Except for the offspring of the characters.
2. All imprints are the same age! I DO NOT do that pedophilia crap S. Meyers does in Twilight Saga
3.The wolves are immortal until they give up their abilities to shapeshift.
4.In these chapters, you can only imprint at a certain age. For example, Quil imprints on Clair when she’s 3 in the series. In here, Quil doesn’t imprint on her until she is at least 15 years old. Same goes for Jake. Even if they saw them as babies, there’s no attraction at all until they are beyond older.
5.The main character (you) will always be adopted unless otherwise stated. But for the most part, you’re adopted because the reader (you) could be of different ethnicity. And unless I need to be specific, you’re at free will.
Request:
- When opened (who knows when) here are my do’s and don’ts. They may be subject to change but not likely. I do what I am comfortable with.
                                                  Do’s
1.Smut
2.Gender neutral pairing/secondary characters
3.Fluff
4.Calling out the elephant in the room (societal issues today)
                                                 Don’ts
1.Pedophilia
2.Polygamy
3. Male x male or female x female smut. Not comfortable since it’s an unknown territory of mine.
4.Incest (believe it or not, some people want this bs) is an absolutely no, and will not happen.
Key Context:
I will remind you in some of the early posts, but for those who read this (thank you to those who do) these are context clues when reading in your point of view.
1.Y/n= your name
2.Y/l/n= your last name
3.Y/g= your gender
4.Y/e/c= your eye color
5.Y/h/c= your hair color
6.Y/h/t= your hair type
7.Y/s/c= your skin color
All other characters attached to you will have their own name by me. If you’ve read all of this, type in the comment “I got you fam” so that I may know there are conscious people in this world.
