Ok so for the longest time, I was convinced my Listener's names had little/no overlap with other VA's Listeners because I try to give them more standout names. I had a mild jumpscare when I learned that Redacted Audio had a Listener character named Asset (the same name as my very first Listener). Up until like last summer I thought that all of Redacted's characters (except for Freelancer) were named romantic pet names like Darlin/Sweetheart/Lovely/etc., and I try to avoid that naming convention because I want my Listeners to be unqiue. Imagine my horror. My utter shock. Asset is such a specific name lmfao, I think his might have come first too.

I already don't like blending in with other VAs, but also I've seen people accuse VAs of ripping each other off over the most random shit. Like I remember someone on here Tumblr accusing Charlie from Yuuri Voice of being a copy of Guy from Redacted once on account of both being pizza guys (a preposterous accusation imo) so I'm outrageously paranoid. It has me constantly on guard lmfao I really shouldn't worry this much but people are wild.

Case and point, I love Raven as a character. But she's a shit human being and I don't like her as a person.

TRAUMA 👏 IS NOT 👏 AN 👏 EXCUSE 👏

Neon Wings Raven is a bitch who purposefully pushes people away without explanation and hurts them and then beats herself up over hurting the people around her. She's in her own self-fulfilling prophecy of hurt and pain and throws herself a pity party for it instead of trying to change it.

Don't even get me started on her jumpiness and selfish pride in abandoning everything and everyone who has come to care for her just because she thinks she's burdening them and causing more hurt and pain.

Is it a reasonable response after what she's been through? Yes.

Do I blame her for acting the way she does because of it? A little.

Do I think she deserves better than what the world has given her to help because the state screwed her over? Absolutely.

Do I like her as a person understanding all of that? Hell no.

I didn't like how Michelle handled talking to Raven but she was so right, Ivan deserves so much better than her.

Mans really said "I can fix her"

Anyway, Raven is a bad person but that's not gonna stop me from loving the hell out of her. I'm gonna shut up now.

(Also that rant about hero characters is coming, it's just taking a lot longer than I thought it would and all of this is a part of Raven's explanation soooooo yeah)

Hi pookies guess who went through every single individual frame of the teaser and then had the playback speed set all the way down to get this? ME!! Also, not to alarm anybody but the guitar slowed sounds like screaming which really set the tone for what was happening. Also, to confirm, the person who is getting their eye poked by that needle was indeed neither Ivan or Till and it doesn't seem like Till was in the experiments at all but was in an adoption center. Somehow they interacted during this time. Also, another point of mention is that the girl who is crossed out looks the same as the person getting their eye poked simply because of hair texture. This person might be related to Ivan so who knows, but I don't think the red iris is natural anymore which is a point of concern.
