Based on a thing I started writing and will never finish where the Akatsuki (sans Zetsu and Tobito) are resurrected into tiny baby bodies and dropped on Konoha's doorstep. After being transported to T&I, Sasori asks for Sakura by name. Hilarity ensues.

I'd decided that their biological ages were thirded, and since Sasori was 15 when he transitioned (so to speak), he is the youngest at 5. He gets a lot of shit for this from Deidara, who is 6.

(Kakuzu's age was thirded from just before he used Earth Grudge Fear, making he and Kisame the oldest, though they're still only preteens [[babysitters]])

I still find it hilarious how I can say I got into Madness Combat Before It Was Cool but by a saving grace of like. A fucking week. Like the timing was legit uncanny.

“OH HEY, HARE, WHAT’S UP, BUDDY?!”

Before he knew it, Hatter was charging for him with intention, and planted a big, fat, slobbery kiss on his forehead. Turned him around and dipped him, too. Hare sort of enjoyed it but was mostly confused - then it occurred to him: “Hatter, are you over here because they’re all in the hot-tub, and you don’t want to have to listen to it?”

“Of course I am, old buddy, old pal. Say, what are you doing? You need some help?” Hatter was already taking off his tail-coat and rolling up his sleeves.

“I-I mean, I-- Sure. I’ve got some really nasty weeds poking their heads up, way down yonder… You see them?”

Hatter glanced all around him until he found the offending plants. And they were indeed offensive: a whole cluster of two-foot-tall dandelion puffs. He got straight to work trying to expel them from the ground: jerking, grunting, panting, and other words that could be used to describe vastly different types of activity. [...] Now they were dancing all around him as he yanked and heaved, trembled and rocked… rolled and perspired... all flushed and flustered, if I do say so.

Damn a combination of circumstances growing up and individual traits/neuroses really resulted in finding myself living a life devoid of any hobbies* that I have genuine interest/enjoyment in huh

*specifically the kind where theres a skill to work at or some kind of effort+growth

#ah 2am. i should be going to sleep #but yea its like #hmm x y and z are just my older siblings' interests that i dont actually care to engage in #ive found a couple neat things but its just me consuming different kinds of media #and ive never felt any drive/desire to make like cool fanart or fanfic or something like that #hmm theres a couple things that i like to do to pass the time but i dont want to like. develop them beyond the v small things they are now #i want something that im passionate about but ah well. cant really wish that into happening i dont think #and its hard to try things too. again bc of circumstances + How I Am lol #uh oh! feeling parallels in these issues to other issues in my life #i want clear paths forward to fall into my lap bc they feel impossible to figure out for myself #well what are ya gonna do 😎
