Yesterday, a regular Farm-to-Family (Local Fare Barrie) customer surprised the team with gifts of absolutely gorgeous poinsettias.🌱 It was so thoughtful, festive, and unexpected.🌠 I'm the most awkward gift recipient in the world, so I hope I was able to show enough gratitude at the time that they know just how much this kindness is appreciated. 😅 It's my first ever poinsettia, and my houseplant jungle has graciously accepted it into their company. Shelley, my Mum and Dad's little old dog, waiting for my Dad to come home. She's missing him terribly. Fingers very tightly crossed he'll be allowed home from hospital tomorrow, where he's been since Saturday when he had a heart attack. He and we have been very fortunate how quick and efficient the ambulance team were. Quick trip to Las Vegas?

Is three days in last vegas worth it? My answer is yes! Sure, the flight is long, but just getting away is fantastic for the soul. Despite the jet lag 3 days is a nice amount of time. I remember when Emma Watson said that, we should not forget to be grateful for 10 things that happened to us each day. So now that I had just woke up and Tumblr being my virtual diary, here’s the list of 10 things I’m grateful for today:

1. I’m thankful that I woke up and breathe the fresh air of our home.

2. I’m thankful that I’ve got to spend time with my family.

3. I’m thankful for the delicious breakfast my mom had made.

4. I’m thankful to see my mom doing good in her Masters (graduate studies).

5. I’m thankful for my genuine friends who always had been there for me since day 1.

6. I’m thankful for my boyfriend who is always there by my side and who loves me unconditionally for who I am.

7. I’m thankful that I’ve got outstanding grades and academic achievements this semester.

8. I’m thankful that I’m already an incoming sophomore this school year, most specially to the upcoming interesting lessons and activities here in my Philosophy degree program.

9. I’m thankful that I’ve got to smile or laugh at least once in each day, just like today :))

10. I’m thankful that I’ve got the chance and motivation to share things that I’m grateful of for today! 💖☺️
