Ok I figured out why I love writing with other people.

It's because it turns the writing into a fun playground. There are words the person before me has put in and I make it a point to have fun and PUT THEM BACK and REUSE THEM and it's a playground. The entire document stops becoming this thing I need to fill with words and becomes this quest I'm on to find ways to call back to that one word that one person wrote 16 pages ago.

It's like puzzling.

"The Briar Rose" is my TwiYor week #2 fic for October. The premise spoils the end of "Oh, Your Smile," as it will be a sequel, but I can give a Snippet!

Yor couldn’t say if this had been a false flag operation or not, she wasn’t that involved in the military ongoings of Ostania, but Yuri had been obscenely insitiant that his sister (and niece) leave Berlint behind. Especially after finding out that Berlint General had been… had been one of the targets, killing hundreds of patients and personnel.

And among them in the wreckage…

Had been Dr. Loid Forger, her husband.

Yor’s fingers tightened harshly around the mug in her hands, but she was too deep in memories to care if it shattered in her grip, as the sky turned a lovely shade of blue.
