Frank shyly moves toward you, his tiny hands reaching up as he begins tugging the hem of your dress, gaining your attention softly. “M–mrs Claus, c–can we please go out to pick some fruit and watch the butterflies?” You look down at him in awe, staring at his adorable wide eyes and the cutest little pout on his face, never having seen Frank so shy.

“Of course, sweetie. C’mon, let’s go.” You pick him up and place him on your shoulder, giggling as you feel him nuzzle into your neck. His tiny little face lit up as he noticed how high he was, his little hands wrapped around your neck as he held on. You head outside, and toward the little garden, you had started when you had gotten to the North Pole. It’s one place where all the elves are happy to help. It’s a peaceful place for all.

You kneel, gently placing Frank into the soil where the fresh fruit is. The two of you begin to harvest it, dropping the fruit into the basket nearby. Frank proudly shows the fruit he’s picked. Each time he’d manage to pull one off, he’d turn and thrust it toward you with a giant smile on his face, blushing when you’d praise him.

As time flies by, you and Frank relax back and watch the beautiful butterflies fill the room, smiling at the pretty colours that flutter by. Frank points, talking to you about the many different names he’s given them. “That one is Winnie! Because he’s orange with some red! A–and that one is called Tulip! Because it reminds me of the flower!”

You smile, watching him as he gets happier and happier. “That one is Franklin! I named him after myself because he’s the most adventurous!” He looks at you and smiles, cheeks turning a rosy pink when he notices you’ve been staring at him. “What? Did I do something?”

“No, sweetie. I’ve just noticed how adorable and caring you actually are. This was a lovely day, and I enjoyed spending time with you.” You lean down and plant a soft kiss on the top of his head, causing him to hide his face, giggling as he does so.

Hello, everyone! I'm sorry I've been MIA for so long (I've actually lost count of how long it's been). I started working on a birthday series that expanded from oneshots to longer, then I had two separate ideas for possible Curtis stories, ended up getting distracted and enticed by Frank Adler, and now this morning I've been hit with the inspiration to continue Unchain Me, Sister. Usually, I'm all for an influx of inspiration, but having multiple WIPs and new ideas fighting for supremacy in my head has been incredibly stressful. I'm hoping that my three-day weekend will give me the chance to put some of these ideas on paper. Here's hoping you all see an update to something soon!

Hello, I know you’re not a fic finding blog or something, so you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, I totally get it! But I was just wondering, I’m having kind of a hard time finding cevans (/his characters) fics, especially series, where there is an actual plot and not just smut or smutty thoughts. I feel like nowadays, these heavily smutty fics predominate (nothing wrong with that, i love those too), but I just miss the fics with thoroughly written angst haha. And I know that you have these fluffy (with a pinch of angst) oneshots which I adore and my favorite must be the Frank Adler ones🥹❤️So I thought, maybe you could know of someone who writes these kinds of fics? Dear Diary

Are you still listening? I know, day one was seriously something else. But he was cute, right? I mean, come on, you can't deny that. Okay, moving on, I bet you want to know what happens on day two, right? Okay, let's do this.

Second Day

Stretching in bed, I sit up and look around; the smell of breakfast hits my nose, causing my stomach to rumble. Running my fingers through my hair, I wander over to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror, I let out a soft breath; today was going to be a good day. I can feel it. Turning on the hot water, I step in, letting the water wash over my cool skin.

"Y/N! BREAKFAST!" Mary called up.

"One sec! I'm almost done!" I chuckle, quickly finishing up my shower.

After stepping out of the shower, quickly dress, choosing a pair of black denim cut-offs that were a little on the short side and a black tank top. Making my way down the stairs.

"Are those blueberry pancakes?" I smile.

Frank looked over and observed me; his eyes scanned me as he cleared his throat softly and nodded. "Yeah, I hope that's alright." he gave a soft smile and put the rest of breakfast on the table.

With a smile and a nod, I look over his face. "It's perfect, thank you." smiling, and dig right in.

With each bite, it tasted like a haven, the bacon cooked perfectly, the berries juicy, and the pancakes so fluffy.

"Coffee?" Frank asked.

Of course, he would ask with a mouthful. I simply smile and nod, and he makes my coffee. It was as if he knew how I take my coffee for years. I take a sip and let out a sigh of pure satisfaction.

"Thank you." I smile and finish up a quiet breakfast.

Diary,

I'm going to skip ahead, okay? Let's face it, breakfast and lunchtimes were soooooooooo, boring. So, we'll skip ahead to just after dinner; that's when things got a little... interesting.

Continuing of the Second Day

I'm standing at the counter, washing dishes, and Frank comes up behind me, leaning against the island counter watching me, I glance up in the window and catch his reflection staring at me, licking at his lips before he smirks shakes his head, and walks to he, placing a hand on the small of my back telling me I wash he dries. Complying I wash a plate, hand it over, so on and so forth.

"So, tell me a bit about you, tell me something unique about you." He smiles.

"You're putting me on the spot, Frank. I don't even know. Maybe I'm not unique. Maybe I'm just me... prefer my nose in the books, I have a younger sister around Mary's age, so we just naturally clicked. I umm, I don't know. I'm not anything real special." Smiling, I keep washing dishes, occasionally stealing glances of his reflection in the window.

"No, you are special, you just don't see it Y/N/" He smiled, taking a plate from my hand, his fingers brushing against the backside of my hand. Feeling that moment of touch, my face grew hot, and these tremors in my stomach make me feel giggly and giddy. Letting out a soft breath, I smile softly and look over at him as I turn off the water.

"I'm going to go take an after-dinner dip." Instinctually I bite my lip, give a soft giggle, and head to the dock.

Stripping down into my black two-piece, I slip into the water, feeling the cold salty water kiss my skin after a hot day. Swimming around, I don't realize he's made his way out to watch me, not really noticing he's been watching me this whole time, observing the way I move, the curves of my figure.

I look up and gasp a bit. "Wanna join me? I'd say the water's great, but I'm sure you already know." Chuckling nervously, I dip my mouth slightly below the water, moving with the gentle motion of the subtle waves coming in. Shrugging, he stripped down to his swim trunks he had on from earlier and dove in. It was this beautiful dive that made me slightly jealous. A soft giggle left my lips as he resurfaced and looked over my face.

"I feel like there is more to your story, if you have a kid sister, that of which I sure would love to see you, why come out this way? Why not go back home?" He asked.

What he didn't realize, is that was actually a very loaded question. Letting out a heavy breath, I look over his face, bite my lip wading in the water, and run my fingers through my hair. "It's umm, it's complicated."

"You act as though I don't have time."

"More like I don't want to bore you."

"How do you know you're going to bore me? Why are you here? Why did Mary drag you along?"

Feeling defeated, I look over his face and clear my throat. "Mary knew I couldn't quite face going home. I was bound to stay at the college over break, though technically, unless you're working on campus or on the sports team you cannot do that, totally not permitted. I was willing to find work. I umm." Shaking my head. I'm having a hard time finding my words. He looks me over and moves closer to me, and it's almost like he's telling me it's okay without telling me it's okay. "I was seeing this guy, my sister really liked him, he was great with her, we're all each other has after well, we're all each other has now. Anyway, I found him in bed with the neighbor when I went home for spring break. I figured maybe it was my fault, I forgave him. What a mistake I was. I get a call from my sister telling me not to come home, for my own sake. At first, I didn't understand why she would tell me that, and then he calls me, tells me he's been fucking around with my sister..." pausing, I look down at the water, and then look back up. "I'm not mad, I can't be mad. Do I wish she would find someone else? Yeah, absolutely, but I'm not mad at her. I'm mad at him." Licking my lips, he reaches for my arm.

"God damn, I'm sorry."

"It's fine."

"What about your parents, are they still around?" He asked me.

Letting out a sharp breath, I look over his face, "Umm, no. Dad left when we were young, and mom passed away. Dad wants nothing to do with us, doesn't even know he has a second daughter."

"Ahh, scumbag dad. Got it. I'm sorry... none of that can be easy I'm sure." He looks over my face, and I don't know how to respond.

The only thing I can do is break down. After keeping it quiet for so long, it's like I was slapped with a wave of emotion that I can't even bring my mind to understand. Frank reaches out and pulls me close into what feels like a loving, caring hug. I bury my face in his neck, my arms wrapped around him tightly like my life depended on it, and the tears flow for a bit and then stop.

He slowly pulls away, and he looks over my face, his thumb brushes against my lip, and my eyes search his. The urge to lean in and kiss him is so heavy right now. I clear my throat and look down at the water. "I'm going to go hop in the shower, wash this saltwater on me... thanks for listening. It was nice to talk about it and have someone listen rather than judge."

"Yeah, of course. I'm always willing to listen." He smiled and headed back with me.

Stepping out of the water and climbing up on the dock, I grab my clothes and head to the house. I can feel him behind me, staring as I walk, feeling his eyes on me. The urge to jump his bones, totally real right now. Walking up the stairs, I hop into the shower. Not realizing I didn't close the door all the way, I strip down and get behind the frosted shower curtain. Glancing over, I see Frank watching me as I shower. But I don't say anything. I don't want to, I can't bring myself to.

By the time I finish my shower, he's gone, or so I thought. He's just moved across the hall, still has a view, but I can't quite see him.

"Uncle Frank, what are you doing? It's late..."

"Waiting to use the shower love, getting some water?"

"Yeah, super thirsty."

"Go to your room, I'll get it for you."

Hearing the exchange between Frank and Mary, I smile, hearing him walk down the stairs, I get dressed, and head to my room across the hall and sit on the bed. When Frank comes back from getting the water for Mary, he stops by my room and smiles, searching my face. "I had a thought, maybe tomorrow, you could go into town with me? I need a few parts for the boat... Maybe you'd like to join me?"

With a smile, I nod. "I'd like that, Good nite Frank."

"It's a date..." He pauses shakes his head and I chuckled. "I umm, yeah. I'll see you in the morning. Good night Y/N."

Frank slightly closes my door for me, and I watch as he walks into the bathroom, not quite closing the door all the way I peak in, seeing him behind the shower, I lick my lips and gently close the door for him and head into bed. My dreams tonight, I have a feeling will be something wicked.
