For today's DMSP AU, Imma talk about my Fullmetal Alchemist DSMP AU, one of my many AU mash-ups! Here we go!

Obviously, this is heavily based on Fullmetal Alchemist(The original manga plot and the FMA: Brotherhood series btw) so here are some of the roles the characters have:

Tommy - Edward Elric: They both have similar personalities but one is tall while the other is made fun of for being short which is hilarious in my opinion :) Also, Tommy joined the military when he was 12-14 and he's currently 16.

Ranboo - Alphonse Elric: I had to think about this one a lot since Tommy and Ranboo wouldn't be blood brothers like in the original and Ranboo would not be a suit of armor. Ranboo is the adopted brother of Tommy and they're still really close. Ranboo's soul was transferred into a sort of large organic doll/chimera that was the experiment of Phil(who takes the place of Von Hohenheim, I'll get to him in a bit). It's basically a lot like C! Ranboo's body but it's incredible durable/has tough skin(as in bulletproof), can't digest food(the body will reject and Ranboo would end up having to spit it out), can't sleep, and can't feel anything(he can hear, see, and smell, but not taste, feel pain/feel anything physical). His original body is basically Ranboo in real life but younger. The body Ranboo's soul is in has a lot of complexities to it that will be explained for another time.

Tubbo - Winry: He's an automail mechanic, it suits him. He also won't hesitate to clonk Tommy's head with a wrench if Tommy gets careless with his automail. He's surprisingly strong(as in probably being able to pick Tommy up and throw him) and hates feeling powerless despite always being left powerless.

Phil - Von Hohenheim: Still immortal and still left his family. Tommy doesn't like Phil because he left them but Ranboo feels more neutral about Phil. Basically like in the original FMA. Phil's wife is, of course, Kristin(RIP). He also doesn't have wings. Idk what else to say for Phil, he's really similar to C! Phil and Von Hohenheim.

Wilbur(not related to cc! Wilbur) - Roy Mustang: It just fits so well in my brain. His title is the Dynamite Alchemist and yes, he is sane. He's a lot like L'manberg era Wilbur but much less naive since he's seen what war is. ALSO, his uniform is extremely similar to the L'manberg military uniform in C! DSMP(but without the hat), I just really like that idea :)))) He and Tommy have a similar relationship as Ed and Roy in FMA but if you added more friendship and fondness because I love Crimeboys in AUs and DSMP :]

Techno - Scar: I debated VERY HARD on this one between Techno taking the role of Scar or General Armstrong/Olivier Armstrong because both fit so well for me. In the end, I decided on Scar but with a different backstory. Techno is a piglin hybrid because I added hybrid races to this world. So far, there are Enderians(I'll talk about them more in another post) and Piglins but there might be more. Techno is an anarchist still and he's very strong and good in combat. I still haven't figured out how he'll gain the destructive alchemy ability but I know that at some point, he'll be able to do more reconstruction, even being able to change the physical appearance of a person(that'll be elaborated on later). Techno did not kill Tubbo's parents btw, so Tommy doesn't have as much anger towards him besides the fact he keeps trying to kill state alchemists and succeeding most of the time. When Tommy and Techno had to work together, they had some surprisingly nice joking moments but it still took a while for Tommy to be comfortable around him since, y'know, Techno tried killing him on several occasions. I think he'll still have the voices which will be a major part of his backstory that I'm still piecing together.

It has been a while since I started digital art,

Quite a while.

So here is a 'progress over the last two years' since I gained access to a drawing tablet.

This is my first ever digitally illustrated piece- compared to my latest one-

So, a little bit different.

I do think my art took quite a jump around June 2022, when I took a break from my Steve comic strip, (for obvious reasons- it was about Technoblade's polar bear so...) and decided to try practicing gesture drawing to see if it helped my general anatomy knowledge. This is before,

And this next one is after.

The most obvious change here is that I switched to using thinner lines. There is a gap of about two months between these.

This was when I realised that you could improve art by practicing it (mind-blowing I know), and then started to do just that. Some other notable jumps forward would be when I discovered the airbrush-

Well, discovered a new method of shading with it anyway.

Then after that I had a few pictures that I actually still like, despite them being pretty old at this point, the one below is actually from September of 2022-

I mean, the hands are a bit iffy, but the rest looks alright. This was when I was going through a bit of a melanie martinez phase-

This next one was from January of 2023, I'd only just gotten into bungou stray dogs via some random memes on pinterest about this weird brown haired guy who had lots of bandages and who had this running gag with wanting to die- I actually looked him up at one point, but that didn't really explain much. The main one that I remember was 'life is short, so make it shorter, shorter than chuuya~'

Which at the time was just kind of confusing,

Then I watched the show and it made perfect sense.

I'd discovered ascendance of a bookworm in like, 2021, but I hadn't really been doing fanart of it since I was mainly doing dsmp related stuff and I kind of assumed nobody would know what on earth I was referencing. Turns out tumblr has a lot more bookworm fans than I orignally anticipated. Instagram still has no clue. I think maybe one person out of my followers on instagram knows what I'm on about-

Then we've got these two which I am still proud of btw-

The first one is from a dystopian/time travel fanfic called viridian.

The second one was after I learned about rim lighting. It was inspired by a song actually, 'crash' by noevaii. (and yes I found that song from a sad-ist animatic, it was cool) The character isn't anyone in particular. They're both from February 2023.

Then there's probably my most liked picture on instagram, (not tumblr, since tumblr knows about bsd and bookworm, but y'know. This was even sadder than I originally intended since the last half of my comic strip was finished AFTER everything happened)

Then the final conclusion of my Steve comic strip in May of 2023.

I don't think my art really changed much in between those, but eh.

Then I switched to doing a bunch of ascendance of a bookworm stuff to see what would happen and turns out there are way more fellow fans out there than I anticipated-

Then I guess my next breakthrough in tumblr popularity, (even if it might not have been a breakthrough in art skills necessarily) was when things went DOWN in the bsd fandom with chapter 109 and I did probably one of my most liked tumblr posts I have ever done-

I still think it's hilarious that I put in chuuya having contacts. My reasoning being, they're on a film set,

It was a pretty interesting exercise in shading in monochrome.

Then I started a 30 day art challenge in October that I didn't get past day six of, but it was still pretty fun. This is the best one of those-

After that I spent most of my time studying for the jlpt n5, so I didn't really do that much art related stuff,

This is one of the two non-commission related pictures that I finished over the two months after I kind of gave up on the art challenge. This one's from November,

Then I finally finished an art commission I'd been working on for the three months prior, as well as studying. Here is an example of the type of pictures I was doing for that,

Then I was occupied with christmas and birthday presents for my siblings, both my little sisters are into ascendance of a bookworm- (completely my fault I am proud to say) so I was able to do stuff related to that, here's a couple of snippets, but you guys don't get the colour version hehe

Anyway, it's been quite a progression since I resolved to master digital art in 2021.

I reckon I've come a fair way since then. I mean. My art skills in general are way better than they used to be. The last two or three years have been pretty interesting.

the most silly goofy thing ive done is my "nothing bad happens AU" , bc it´s in actuality a doomed narrative, a ticking time bomb that no one will actually be prepared for

the only reason the main timeline survives the way it does is bc through several tragic backstories, the characters end up exactly where theyre supposed to be and take care of blooming problems before they get out of hand, until the final conflict happens, by which point there arent really any loose ends and they can achieve relative peace.

but in this au the era of "peace" comes too early, with Caelios seemingly taking care of all the void issues and becoming somewhat of a pillar (such is the burden of the overpowered oc) , but a single person can only do so much and hes unknowingly covering only the superficial problems, which gives time to all the undetected ones to get stronger

And as another consequence of Caelios is that key players in the main story are severely weakened, Nyx never makes it out of egarim, Cindy and Akira, key players in the elimination of voids, straight up don't have to face any until after Caelios takes a hard blow, at which point they're incredibly screwed due to inexperience. Viv doesn't *exist*, Roy doesn't get his secondary ability and is perhaps a little unhinged

Just, there's all these little actions and roles characters play in the main story that might look dumb or unnecessary, but actually result in the only stable timeline via butterfly effect and i think thats great :D!

So Who is Pisces Pixie?

Hello, and welcome to my weird corner of chaos on this equally and moreso chaotic hellsite. I am a fanfic writer, attempter of fanart, and aspiring author if I can actually get my butt in gear to finish something.

I am a married Christian woman, no kids yet, just two annoyingly adorable cats. While I am okay with minors following me, please understand I will probably not follow you back if you are a minor, and I will not interact with you via messages if I am aware you are a minor. Just a personal boundary for your safety and mine.

Long story short, Bad doesn’t get arrested. Right after the last part is probably when Karl shows up, so he teleports onto the ship to see a very confused Tommy, two overwhelmed Green Lanterns, and Skeppy trying to help Bad calm down from a panic attack. Karl isn’t arrested either, because he didn’t break the law, and he probably isn’t on any wanted lists. Tommy and Skeppy, on the other hand, who were basically caught red handed doing crimes, weren’t so lucky.

Skeppy has a hearing, and in the end, he loses his interstellar driver’s license for allowing a minor to drive illegally. This may seem a bit harsh, but knowing Skeppy’s chaotic nature, this probably wasn’t his first major traffic law violation. He also loses his Tommy-chaperoning privileges.

Tommy would’ve gotten away with it for the most part, as, legally speaking, all the blame went to Skeppy for allowing him to drive in the first place. Except for the fact that he accidentally mentioned on of his and Purpled’s “little adventures,” during Skeppy’s hearing. This lead to Tommy actually be banned from going to space except under certain extenuating circumstances.

They try to put Purpled under the same restrictions as Tommy was under earlier; however, this doesn’t actually work, because Purpled has his own ship. Aliens who go around randomly abducting people, like the ones Purpled got the ship from, were probably breaking the law, and thus I’m gonna say that the ship is also equipped with illegal cloaking technology, so Purpled can basically sneak out whenever he wants. The Green Lanterns keep trying to confiscate his ship, and keep failing for increasingly comedic reasons.

Dream SMP Fullmetal Alchemist AU (Part III)

Today we’re going to be covering some of the homunculi for this AU! The homunculus name next to their name is the trait that they’d fill, not the role, like with other characters.

Schlatt- Gluttony

Schlatt fills the role Bradley/Wrath had in FMA.

Quackity- Greed

Quackity fills the role of Pride, sort of. He’s married to Schlatt, unlike how Pride was pretending to be Bradley’s son. Also, instead of being placed there to monitor Schlatt, Dream put them both there to counter each other, so neither would gain too much power. Like in DSMP canon, Schlatt is abusive. Quackity will probably end up leaving and helping the heroes by the end of the story.

George- Sloth

Like Wrath in FMA, George was originally human. Dream’s favorite human, in fact. Dream turned George into a homunculus so he could live forever.

Techno- Wrath

Fills Greed’s role.

Brain: Hahaha. Angst with Clingy Duo go brrrrrrr. Have two aus and make two tags for them.

Oh but I can go and imagine the differences with this already. I can see Phil being the dad who left Edward and Alphonse when they were young. And then Wilbur had to take care of them and god it hurts when he died. Ranboo can be Winry in this version of the au and jeez.

I’m thinking Roy could maybe be Fundy or something. I just want Fundy with fire powers. That would be cool. Also we get to have Fundy angst where he sees the two kids that his dad raised and was more of a father to than him.

Oh what if we go and combine those two aus. Oh god there is so much we can make.

I made a Fullmetal Alchemist DSMP AU and I always giggle when I think about how I had Tommy take Ed's place but Tommy is actually taller than average while Ed is shorter than average. If the original FMA and FMA! DSMP met, Ed would totally be seething about how the guy that has his role is over 6 feet while he's stuck being made fun of for being short

DSMP Fullmetal Alchemist AU (Part I)

Okay, so this is the first au on this blog! Kia came up with the initial idea for this au, and we’ve been working on it together, so we’re really excited to share it. Just to clarify, we’re basing this off of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, not the 2003 version. We have lots of ideas for what roles different characters will fill, but today we’re gonna start off with just Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, and Dream. Keep in mind, not all these are exactly one-to-one. Some dsmp characters fill multiple roles, and some roles in FMA will just be glossed over for the most part. Also, the plot will not stay the same as in FMA. We’re kinda adapting the plot to fit the characters. If you have any questions or ideas, feel free to send us an ask!

Tommy- Fills the role of Ed.

Tubbo- Fills the role of Al for most of the plot stuff, but also fills Winry’s role as Tommy’s automail mechanic.

Ranboo- Fills the role of Hoenhiem, except he’s Tommy and Tubbo’s best friend, instead of their father. His history with Dream is similar to Father and Hoenhiem, except with the added element that he isn’t entirely sure whether Dream is the homunculus, or he is.

Dream- Fills the role of Father. I’m sure you can guess why. I mean, god complex, check. Manipulative pulling-the-strings-behind-everything style of villainy, check.

Right, so for the actual plot, we’re switching things up a little bit. Tommy and Tubbo met in an orphanage. They ended up running away together because of future plot stuff :) and were taken in by Puffy (more on that later). Later, after the orphanage eventually closes down, Tommy goes back to burn the place down for, like, closure n’ stuff. Along the way, he runs into Ranboo, who agrees to help.

Unbeknownst to them, someone ends up spotting them, and word gets back to Dream, who has been trying to track Ranboo down for ages. Tommy ends up taking Ranboo home with him, and Puffy basically ends up adopting him as well. They all live in peace together for a couple years, and then Ranboo gets a letter in the mail. A single piece of paper, with only one thing written on it. :)

So Ranboo leaves in the middle of the night, with no explanation. He’s just trying to protect his new family. This doesn’t work. A few months later, Dream ends up kidnapping Tommy and Tubbo and ends up having Gluttony eat them. So they end up getting trapped in Gluttony’s heart (not stomach like in FMA, for reasons that will become a bit more clear once you find out who Gluttony is in this AU), like Ed, Ling, and Envy in that one episode of FMA. Like in that episode, they end up getting out using human transmutation. Unlike in that episode, neither of them have a philosopher’s stone, so they actually have to pay the toll. You know the story. Tommy loses his leg, and Tubbo loses his entire body. Tommy sacrifices his arm to bind Tubbo’s soul to a suit of armor. The two of them throw themselves into their alchemy studies, and a year or so later, Tommy becomes the Fullmetal Alchemist.

(Also, all the philosopher’s stones are shaped like discs. Because Discs.)
