*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ love language (verse iii); s.g.
synopsis: a first date with gojo satoru? maybe... or maybe not... content: canon divergence (still teen!gojo era!), fem!reader, hopeless romantic gojo, best bros satoru and suguru bickering as always, gojo has given you a nickname (and I will now claim reader and gojo as "gojo and his mochi"), unimpressed nanami, not beta read (sorry for any errors!) note: another addition to my gojo anthology series! I'm having sm fun writing these lil things for myself and you all! also... should I start a tag list? lmk in the replies!
"Nanami Kento, Haibara Yu, and," Yaga Masamichi introduced before gesturing in your direction, speaking your name. "You may know the first two already but we've got another sorcerer to the school roster." Continuing his speech towards his three students that sat before him, Suguru and Shoko listened closely, eyeing a brooding Kento and a smiley Yu... while Satoru gazed at you with the biggest heart eyes. He didn't seem to care if he was obvious, after his first interaction with you ever (possibly the best moment of his life), he made it his goal to see you at least once a day. If you were away on missions, or busy during a lecture, he'd find a way to see you... even if it was from afar. "I want you three to mentor them from now on. Each of you teaming up with one of them and spending at least an hour a day to help them boost up their technique—"
"I'll be partnered up with mochi!" Gojo exclaimed, interrupting his teacher with a hand in the air.
"What's the point of raising your hand if you're gonna interrupt anyway?" Geto teased, earning a look from his best friend as he stuck out his tongue.
"Who... is mochi?" Yaga asked, pinching the bridge of his nose, never quite getting used to his white haired student.
Pointing at you and speaking your name, you stood there with wide eyes and a blush. You weren't new to Gojo's behavior, after you first met him (helping you rescue your now kitten off a tree), you had plenty of... interesting interactions. At first, it was a lot to take in, seeing as he was very eccentric and grew really comfortable with you so easily, but after some time, you grew comfortable with it. With him. However, him calling you one of his favorite treats was a first. "She's cute like a mochi—"
"Oh, god..." Shoko shook her head as Suguru raised his eyebrows.
"That's a first," Yu spoke up, covering his mouth as he couldn't help but chuckle.
"No," the shared teacher spoke. "You will not be paired with her—"
"What! Why not?! We're best friends!" Satoru whined as you looked away with a subtle blush.
"Psht, that's harsh, am I now forgotten?" Suguru crossed his arms, leaning back in his seat. "What if I want to team up with mochi?" The young man smirked, earning a scowl from his best friend.
"Never call her that again," Gojo hissed, earning a laugh from Geto.
"Enough, you two, she will be partnered up with Shoko. Knowing you two, you'd end up getting her hurt somehow," earning a gasp from the two boys, you couldn't help but smile, biting your bottom lip at the way they reacted. "I trust Nanami and Haibara will be fine in either of your care."
"Ugh," Gojo groaned.
"I suppose that's fair," Geto shrugged, earning a shove from Gojo in which he shoved back. "Who are we teamed up with, then?"
"Geto, you'll be paired up with Haibara," hearing a faint cheer come from Yu, Kento only sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Which means Gojo, you'll be paired up with Nanami."
"Well, if I can't have my mochi, I guess Nanamin is fine!" Gojo crossed his arms behind his head. "No offense, Haibara! Nanamin is just great company to tease," he grinned, earning an eye roll from the young, blond man.
"Perfect, today will be your first day. Report back here in an hour. Get to know one another's abilities better." At that, Yaga dismissed the class, Shoko rushing up to you and interlocking arms as she pulled you out with her. You couldn't help but look back at Satoru, seeing his grin towards  Kento turn into a frown as he looked at you. Sending him a small smile and wave, he waved back, happy that he at least got your attention for the time being.
Weeks then passed after Yaga paired everyone off, though it didn't change how things went—specifically missions—Gojo found another reason to see you. At least, another way to see you. Shoko's RCT required her to be in specific places, so he was well aware of where to find you when he wasn't with his own classmates. Nanami, on the occasion, was dragged along. Forced to watch his senior poorly flirt with you when you (shockingly) didn't seem too bothered by it. Instead, it made you flustered. You seemed to have enjoyed Satoru's attention. Of course, it never lasted long with Ieiri kicking both boys out (or just Gojo if he was the only one there) because she was busy being a good mentor and teaching you.
"I'm bored," Satoru whined as he sat on a bench, eyeing Kento as he trained on the open field. "This pairing up thing isn't all that fun."
"That's because you're not doing your job as my senior," Nanami spoke with a lack of enthusiasm.
"What's there to teach you? You're good as it is," he waved a hand as he sipped at his milk box. "I just wanna see my mochi..."
Sighing, Nanami shook his head before lifting it from his palm as he massaged his temples. A faint smile grew on his lips at the sight of you approaching, it seemed as if Shoko had lead the way before parting to go on her own route. You waved happily as he waved back, only to look at his senior to see that he hadn't noticed you. Grinning, Nanami quietly made his way towards you, his fellow classmate. To anyones shock, the two of you actually grew close. You saw one another like siblings, getting along quite well and actually maintaining interesting conversations. No one would've figured, he was a quiet boy and only really spoke when spoken to, but you brought something out of him. You always found something to speak about. Maybe it was your shared love for baked goods, or the possibility that you weren't annoying like most of the people around him. You were timid, but you were also very kind and social with those you were comfortable with. "How'd it go today?"
"Good, Shoko is very skilled, it's a shame we don't focus much on her technique. RCT is very important, no one does it like her." Smiling up at him as the two of you bumped fists, you then peeked over to Satoru, who was now lying on the bench, completely unaware of your presence. "Is he okay?"
"Being lazy as always," Nanami shrugged, but you slightly frowned. "Don't worry about it."
"What are you two babbling about?!" Gojo called out, not realizing who he had been yelling at.
"I'll catch you later..." the blond said before patting your head, then walking away.
"Hey, I asked you a—" Sitting up and realizing who he had been yelling at, Gojo's eyes widened as he gulped. "Mochi!"
"Hi, Satoru," you greeted with a kind smile, causing him to blush. "Long day?"
Instantly standing up, nearly tripping over his own feet, he shook his head. "No! I was just... taking a break! Y'know... training others can be so tiring," he frowned while slumping forward as you let out a small laugh. "Especially someone as skilled as Nanamin!"
"Right," You nodded. "I hadn't seen you all day. I was thinking..."
Blinking a few times as he watched you approach, Gojo gulped, "yeah?"
"We should get an early dinner—"
"Now?" His eyes widen as he stood straight, earning another laugh from you.
"Mhm, or later, whatever you prefer—"
"Now! Now is good," He nodded, meeting you halfway before he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "I know the perfect place! Plus, right next door, they sell some delicious mochi..." He grinned as you smiled up at him.
"Is this our first date?" Gojo teased as you sat on a bench, sharing a box of mochi. The dinner was as great as he had promised, a cute little restaurant that Gojo frequented. Satoru tried his best to impress you with his cooking skills, only to burn half of what he ordered. You couldn't help but laugh it off, deciding to cook the rest—in which he praised your skills (and promised to improve his own for the next time). For someone trying to do some impressing, he's constantly teetering between being shy and letting his confidence kick in (even if it was false, trying to win you over).
"Hmm, I was the one who asked to go to dinner," you said, biting into your mochi. "Shouldn't I decide that?"
"Wait!" Gojo lifted his hands, pulling the box of mochi away as you tilted your head. "I took us here to get our dessert," he nudged his head back, towards the stand.
"So..." you trailed.
"So... this could be our first date!" He beamed, earning a look from you as you playfully lifted an eyebrow.
"Maybe."

Gojo Satoru x Reader x Geto Suguru
The Cursed Trio | Mr. Sandman
Tumblr media
...
Despite being the ever energetic guy he was, Haibara loved to sit down and people-watch. Silently observing others go about their daily business, unaware of their audience as they freely express themselves through large and small mannerisms.
He'd always make sure to find a nice cozy spot, somewhere a bit hidden so no one could see his lingering eyes. If Kento was here, he'd been stating how inappropriately creepy he was being. He could already hear him hehe
Regardless of what his partner would think, the raven-haired boy could easily spend hours observing the world interact with itself. If he was lucky enough, he'd see an entire movie unfold right before his eyes.
Most of the time, though, he tried to call upon his inner Sherlock. Using the art of deduction to figure out the possible stories from every passer-goer.
Usually, it'd be more fun with you considering your extraordinary ability to deduce people to downright filth.
The two of you hanging out, making up stories for every person that caught either of your eyes had become a little routine of yours, one that started from his days of teaching you Japanese. He'd tell you certain words while discreetly pointing to people who embodied said words --- he hadn't expected for you to suddenly start rambling about the possible nuisances of each and every person you saw
And the fact that you had no filter made it worse! The amount of times he had to cover for you after you'd accidentally said something rather insulting about a person who stood close enough to hear --- double digits!
Regardless, it's the same reason as to why you're the most attuned person in terms of others emotions --- once you notice the patterns, you'll see them everywhere is what you'd often say to him
Although, it did leave him wondering. Just how were you so good at people-reading? Is that how you got along with those two so well? Because you knew instantly what they were about the moment you met them?
No, that can't be. On numerous occasions, you've complained about how Gojo and Suguru confused you. You claimed that they were like a whole new different breed of soul that you've never come across before.
Haibara blinked
Souls. The first time he heard about your Cursed Technique, he had to admit --- he'd never heard of a technique like yours.
Cursed Sight: Chains, a cursed technique that bestows its user with the ability to perceive the spiritual and see the souls of living beings as well as curses. The way it works is rather simple, or so, that's how you mentioned it to be.
As one knows, everything is made up of energy. So by simply channeling your own cursed energy, you can manipulate the strands into forming objects. By focusing well enough, you could bring said objects into the physical world: however, there was a catch.
You could never break eye contact.
The technique had great potential. Just visualize the item you need and Wala! It's there. (You had a preference for chains ghost rider type beat. You'd chain curses down to limit its movements prior to going for the kill. In times where the Curse proved too strong, you'd hold it down while continuously attacking it with an already cursed energy-imbued weapon)
To be honest, your fights were quite the spectacle. The way you expertly used your chains to capture curses, the way you used the ends of the chains to destroy them with such force --- ooh la la (aizawa x ghost rider's love child)
We're getting side tracked --- point is, your ability allowed you to see people's essence. You knew when they lied, you knew what they felt, their soul usually said everything you needed to know (you confessed that the soul only shows the most general of feelings so that's why you depended on deducting to truly understand people's intentions)
One major down side, you could never turn it off. I don't think you've ever really seen someone's face much less your own. Bodies are shaped around the soul, and the soul is always so blinding with its different hues. At least, the silhouettes had somewhat of expressions. (Further clarification, it's like cutting out human shape out of colored paper. Just three-dimensional. AH, THINK GOD FROM FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST but include the shape of hair and outfits) You could see the shapes of their eyes, the slope of their nose, and the curve of their lips.
(and now, you're probably asking -- but OP, what about clothes? How do we have a sense of style if we can't see the look when we look in the mirror? That is true. Wearing outfits will just accentuate your soul's shape. But the moment it's off and on a hangar, you can see it plain as day since it's soulless on its own. Also Ieiri helps you, sometimes even Yaga if you're that desperate)
"You're going to hurt yourself from thinking so hard, Haibara." There you are! You even brought, "Hiya!" "Senpai!" Gojo glared at you, "Meh, why aren't you ever this respectful? Hm? You have to respect our customs, foreigner!"
You scoff, "I do respect your customs, just not you."
"Bitch."
"Masochist."
"Masochist?! The hell is that for?"
"You like me insulting you, your soul lives for it. Got a degradation kink, old man?" "Who the fuck you calling old man for?! I'm just a year old-" "Haibara~! Let's go get something to eat!" "O-Oi! Don't run away, pussy!" You stick your tongue out at him as you pull Haibara by the arm, dragging him to some nearby tall selling takoyaki
You spent the entire day ignoring Gojo, who sulked behind you and Haibara as you dragged said male all around Roppongi where you were supposed to meet up with one other. Yep, you guessed it!
Mei Mei!
(don't you just love mixing friend groups and praying to whatever god is out there that it all works out? 😁)
Mei Mei couldn't care less about Haibara, though she did seem to acknowledge him as somewhat worth having around in regards to his 'service potential', but honestly, her indifference was palpable
Instead, Mei Mei focused on you, whose face held a dreamy look as the pretty woman spoke to you with that lovely sing-song voice of hers (she still HELLA sus iykyk but for the sake of this, she ain't. She's just greedy here)
Gojo was irked by how close Mei Mei got to you, his face unbelievably stoic as he watched you and Mei Mei interact (cue that anime angry mark and eyebrow twitch)— Mei Mei acting like a sugar mama to you as the white-haired woman walked you around pointing at shit she knew you'd like.
Ah, I can already hear some of you confused --- specifically the ones who are really into canon.
You see, Mei Mei does nothing out of the goodness of her heart. No, no. Greed is the very foundation of her character. And so, it would make sense that she wouldn't just spend her money on anyone just for the hell of it.
And so, the truth. You and Mei Mei had this secret arrangement --- in return for a few favors and pieces of key-information that she can't quite get from her watchful crows, Mei Mei would pay for your services. Usually, she'd just send the cash over but whenever the two of you are together, she'd provide you a little shopping spree. (No-one knows about this btw)
Despite the previous, it was evident that Mei Mei liked you. She saw you as her favorite little Kouhai, mainly because of how resourceful you could be, and the way your personalities seemed to mesh well together was exquisite in her opinion.
(Side Note: Your relationship with her is incredibly on-the-surface. The reason why you get along so well is because you adapt yourself to her personality. I wouldn't say you're a people-pleaser, although you are, but more of a subtle manipulating type of thing. Idk how to put it)
You weren't at all annoying like the others. Additionally, you had a higher chance of reaching your service potential than any other (i don't even know if that's a compliment or an insult and I wrote it 🤪)
Gojo wasn't a big fan of Mei Mei spoiling you, and it led to a whole day of the two of them kind of fighting to show off who could spoil you the most (though it may or may not have been your plan from the get-go).
The situation became more obvious to Haibara when you wrapped your arm around his, a wicked smile upon your lips as you quietly inquired from Haibara what he wanted. Not fully grasping the scheme, he answered, and then you'd claimed as your current desire, which Mei Mei and Gojo would then buy immediately.
Eventually, Kento joins after receiving a SOS text message from Haibara. At the sight of the two wordlessly seething cotton swabs with you smirking in front of them, Kento dragged him away (he only greeted you, he could care less about the other two)
While Mei Mei was preoccupied with a phone call, and Gojo was off buying something sweet for you and spicy for Suguru, to eat together later — you found yourself sitting at the same spot Haibara had been sitting earlier.
There was someone next to it, but that didn't stop you as you plopped yourself down, attention focused on the people walking by. Blissfully unaware of the minor curses that plagued them.
Sometimes, if you felt merciful, you would destroy the curse. Weaker curses didn't require you to physically manifest your chains; a small, invisible chain was all it took to loop around the curse and squeeze them to death.
"Never seen a technique like yours, foreigner."
At the stranger's words, you paused. You hadn't sensed any cursed energy from the person sitting next to you, so how could they have known? Glancing to your side, you tilted your head in slight confusion as you examined the man sitting next to you
"what happened to 'hello'? 'how are you'? To introductions, in general?" There was a slight tease to your words yet your fingers subtly twitched by your side
The raven-haired man snorted in amusement, a slight smirk on his lips as he leaned back against the wall of the bench. His hands were in his pockets as he didn't once look your way.
"How long have you been here with them?" Something in his voice had put you on edge, but at the same time, you didn't feel imminently in danger.
"Long enough, give or take."
He made a face, "Like it, so far?"
You shrugged your shoulders, your eyes still on his silhouette as you answered, "Neutral, so far."
"So you haven't been here long enough," he sassed back earning a short snort from you.
"Oh? Why's that?" "You'll see, soon enough." And with that, he stood up, walking away from you without another word. You stared at his soul, watching it get tinier with every step he took.
You had met many dark blues, but the edges of his were... fuzzy. Not clearly definable. That was new.
Surprisingly, you didn't feel shook or concerned. You actually felt a rush of excitement, the sort you got from trying to solve the mystery of some crime show before the narrator could even reveal the truth.
Suddenly, Gojo appeared in the corner of your eye, his sunglasses pulled down his nose as his iridescent eyes gazed down at you.
His eyes were the only ones you had ever truly seen. You thought it was because of his Six-Eyes.
"Yo! Got the drugs," he said, to which you replied with a casual "Hm."
He narrowed his eyes, "What happened?"
So observant
You perked up, "What?"
He repeated, a small frown on his lips, "What happened?"
You shrugged, "Just an... interesting encounter, that's all."
Gojo knew better. But he also knew you.
"Alright, let's go. Mei Mei already left, and she wanted me to give you this," he said with displeasure in his voice as he threw a bag into your lap—a luxury brand bag. But not before handing you yet another bag, another luxury brand.
With a sense of curiosity, you gently untied the bag's ribbon and opened it, revealing a small box inside. Your fingers carefully lifted the lid, revealing the gift within as you opened the box
A single earring, a crescent moon hanging from it. It's metal glimmering under the setting sun (wow, time passed fast today)
"Now we can match!" Gojo said. Showing off his wrist, a silver bracelet with a sun hanging from it.
You snorted, "What about Suguru, hm?" (While you asked, you put the earring on without another moment's notice)
He rolled his eyes, revealing another bag matching your own, "His is here...ya like it, tho?"
Having stood up from where you sat, you smiled softly as you affectionately bumped your head onto his shoulder before motioning for him to walk with you. (You didn't get to see his grin, but you could feel it.)
"Let's go home, Gojo," you said, with Mei Mei's gift loosely wrapped around your wrist, knowing it could wait.
...
(A/N): Ugh, I keep having to come back to fix certain things so it can better fit my narrative. I keep writing these shits while being tired af, and when I wake up --- I forget my own canon 🙄
Anyways
Who do you think the rando guy is?
Also did you notice how you immediately checked Gojo's gift rather than Mei Mei's? In fact, you completely ignored her gift to you.
Moreover, have any of you noticed that whenever you get to know someone --- their name alters? I wonder what that implies for certain people.
And what does a fuzzy outline mean?
This was also supposed to take another turn but then the characters charactered and here we are now.

Nyan XIV - What the hell?
Tumblr media
Nyan Chapters List
Summary: You've been put in a strange situation...Why are they so close to some woman when they were about to explain something to you...
A/n: I was asked for a bit of drama, so here it is. Light angst.
Tumblr media
"Good morning, I was sent by Gojo-san and Geto-san. It's my pleasure to meet with Miss (y/n) (l/n)?" The dark haired man with glasses asked as you opened the door after hearing the doorbell.
As you might have guessed, they weren't home yet... You felt sad about that, but there was nothing you could do. You had a bit of a fight with them, didn't you?
It was your first serious argument in your relationship... You felt bad.
But what the eyes see for a second doesn't mean it's real.
Maybe the argument wasn't what you thought it was because you didn't see it long enough?
At first glance, everything is much worse than it really can be.
"Yes. It's me," you said.
"Miss, please come downstairs. We have to hurry." He said with a small smile.
You went for your phone and took what you needed.
You walked up the stairs and wondered who he was. A driver in a suit?
So compared to who your boys hang out with, maybe this apartment is too poor?
Who the hell are they?
The door to a shiny black car has been opened for you, and you know it's not a taxi...
It's a very clean, shiny black car that a driver in a suit invited you to sit in...
You hesitantly got into the backseat and fastened your seatbelt, looking around shyly.
How should you behave?
Why is it all like this?
What can you expect?
Who are they really?
Maybe they are serious businessmen who earn a fortune?
Maybe they are models or actors?
They told you not to worry after finding out. And that they will protect you.
Oh my God...
Are they from the mafia?
Is that why this car is like this? Own driver? A lot of money?
In books, a mafioso is always handsome and young... Maybe this also applies to your situation?!
What if you get out of the car and immediately see a large villa in the suburbs and gorillas with guns to protect the boss?
Oh god, what have you gotten yourself into...
Or maybe they are murderers too?
They can fight and track!
What if you see drugs and weapons? Or maybe dead bodies?!
What the hell is wrong with your cats?! With your boys?!
Cat mafioso??
Two cats with signet rings behind a desk and guns?!
Two cats that rule the entire mafia?!
Your imagination is running too wild now!
You looked at your phone when you saw the message you had received.
Suguru: "When will you be there?" "Where are you already?"
You: "I don't know" "We entered some forest and we're going up" “I won't be taken to the forest and murdered, right?"
Suguru: "Of course not!" "Silly, we would never let anything happen to you." "Ijichi is a trusted assistant" "We have to do something with Satoru. We'll be alone when you arrive."
You: "What should I do?" "What's more important than finally telling me the truth?"
Suguru: "We have one person to deal with" "Believe me, you don't want to understand this woman."
Women?
They are there with a woman...?
Who they are?
Who is this woman to them...?
If they...
"If I had to choose between you, I would choose the one who earns more." said the white-haired woman with a glass of dry red wine that was prepared for your dinner later.. "So who has more money?"
"Mei-san, we are busy. In a moment -" Geto started but she interrupted him.
"I'll ask her which one of you has more. Every woman should look at the thickness of wallet and the number on a man's credit card before dating.
"(y/n) is not you." Satoru laughed.
"If she doesn't care about the money, she must have won the Jackpot by getting the two highest paid men in our profession."
The woman stood up and walked towards them in her dress, running her purple fingernail along Gojo's arm.
"She is the happiest woman possible. And we are the lucky ones who got it. And you, Mei-san, you drank all the wine and you're drunk." he laughed, looking at her from under the blindfold.
"Small glasses aren't enough to get me drunk. Unless you pay me more." She grabbed their shoulders. "It doesn't matter which one, what matters is that he has money. And there's no shame in showing up at a bar like that."
Geto moved away.
"Mei-san... Please go now... We want to be alone with (y/n)." Geto muttered.
Suddenly she placed her hands on both of their cheeks and looked at them with a smile.
"You earn much more than you did at school 11 years ago. And you look much better. If every millionaire looked like you, my life would be more beautiful. But anyone with a lot of money for me will do."
She only sees money in them...
Suguru's eyes moved towards the open door and he saw you there.
You saw all this Woman fawning over them.
When you found out it was a school, you were a little calmer.
But what you saw now was beyond the limit.
You had doubts before. And now it all became clear.
They wanted to get rid of this woman? It looked like they were having a great time.
A beautiful woman with white hair, lusciously painted lips and nails, dressed nicely, ingratiates herself with them.
You saw that glass of wine on the table.
And then there's the woman who touches your boyfriends like that. Rubbing their arms, touching their chests and backs. Speaking with a smile. Satoru was smiling too.
Besides, her smile clearly showed her intentions.
She likes them.
And they didn't seem to object...
You felt your heart hurt.
How could you think that you could have boyfriends like that??
They are out of your league. This woman is way out of your league. She fits them better.
You are an ordinary woman who lives in a block of flats that is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. You work in an office. You're ordinary.
How could you ever think you could have a happy life with someone as special as them?
Your Life couldn't be a book in which a handsome rich man meets a normal girl and honestly falls in love with her at first sight.
It wasn't a fairy tale.
Once upon a time, when you were feeling down, you wondered if you even deserved them.
Now you see the answer.
They are out of your league. With beautiful women who surround them with smiles.
Fingers gripping the fabric of your pants, you watched with tears wanting to come out as they both looked at you and whispered your name.
But without looking at it any longer, you just started walking towards the exit. Ignoring how they were calling your name and running after you.
You didn't want to disturb them in their real life where they belonged.

Chapter One | Chapter Two | Chapter Three | Series Masterlist | Wc:8k
Tumblr media
On Tuesday morning, Satoru makes his way up to his office at his father's company. People greet him as he walks out of the revolving door, a few bowing their heads as he walks towards the elevators. When the reaches the top floor where his and his father's offices are located, he is greeted by his secretary, Yuna. She greets him with a smile and proceeds to dictate the schedule for the day as she usually does every morning while he makes his way to his office.
"Good morning, sir. You have a meeting with the board at nine today, which should only last a maximum of thirty minutes, and then your father would like you to go over these papers and sign them before sending them to his lawyers. After that, you have lunch with Miss Mei. There's another meeting at three with the shareholders, all of them have confirmed they will be attending except for Mr. Toji Fushiguro and Mr. Naoya Zenin. Both of them hold the most shares after you and your father, they're required to show up if we want to make any decisions. After that, you have a few more papers to look over."
Satoru nods, reaching to hold on to the knob of his office door, "Reschedule my lunch with Mei, my fiance wants to meet for lunch today, make sure to contact her we haven't made discussed where were eating so just give her the location of where I was going to meet up with Mei and the time. As for Fushiguro and Zenin...if they don't answer by lunchtime reschedule the meeting for Friday. Confirm with them first on the new date before sending out the new date."
Yuna types in all her new tasks into her iPad, nodding and bowing before walking off her office space right outside of Satoru's door. He walks into his office finding several good-sized stacks of papers on his desk.
His office gave him a nice view of the city, and the building of the downtown center where the building was located. He could also see your father's company building, which was a few blocks away. He'd been to that building so many times in his childhood when accompanying his father to have lunch with yours that Satoru was positive he could hit it with a dart with his eyes closed on a map. The busy atmosphere of your father's company always intrigued him, how so much busier it seemed than his father's. Now that he was older he understood that his father's industry was much more fast-paced than his father's. Running a news station seemed stressful as he watched people move around in a hurry trying to put whatever story out before other new stations could.
He fully walks into the office, reaching for the cup of coffee, Yuna had set on the coffee table minutes before he arrived, and plops down on the leather couch in the center of the office. He grabs a newspaper, a print from your father's company that his father always made sure to have, and reads through the first few pages before flipping over to the business page.
It's been his morning routine ever since he returned from aboard and start working for his father. Read the newspaper while drinking coffee, call Yuna in to get him another, something sweet this time, and then he starts working on whatever he had to do for the day.
He's halfway through his first cup and the first stack of papers when there's a knock on his door at nine, Yuna opens the door and steps in. "Sorry to interrupt, sir, but Mr. Geto is here to see you."
Satoru curls his fingers in a come hither motion, setting his stack of papers down, "Let him in, and can you bring me a new cup of coffee? Preferably something with whip cream."
Yuna nods and steps out the door, Suguru entering a few moments later. "Hey, man."
"What's up? Thought you were busy today?" Satoru stands up to greet his friend with a hug, patting him harshly on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I just left early," Suguru shrugs and lays on the couch, stretching his legs along the length of it.
Satoru shakes his and takes a seat on one of the chairs that face it, "You father is going to get tired of you slacking off."
Suguru laughs at him, "Says the guy who went to study for seven years."
"That was different, and I actually did do some studying."
Suguru sits back up, waving his hand dismissively, "Yeah sure, it was different because you didn't want to marry our lovely y/n. Still doesn't mean you used that as an excuse to fuck around in different countries. Or that your father paid for all of that. And anyway, I do some work, I just make sure to finish all that I can so that I can slack off afterward. I've very much aware of the fact my father isn't going to live forever, and that his responsibilities will be mine one day, so should I be able to make the most of my youth while I can? Being holed up in an office like you, eight to nine hours a day for five days out of the week, isn't going to let me do that now is it?" Suguru asks, sitting up further and messing with the corner of the newspaper at the edge of the coffee table. "You shouldn't be even more worried about wasting your youth when you're going to get married," he asks as he raises the folded pieces of paper.
Satoru snatches the paper away from Suguru, throwing it at the end of the table, "If she still wants to get married that is."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Satoru chews at his nail before he answers, "She caught me on Saturday. With Ava. I mean she didn't actually catch us, but she definitely suspects."
The room falls quiet for a moment before Suguru bursts out laughing, slapping his knee as he throws his head back, "Oh man, I guess you might actually get out of this whole thing your parents set up." Suguru straightens up, waving his hand in the air, "And everyone knows about your let getaways, so she probably already knows about your little entanglements. Or at least seeing you with Ava confirmed the rumors she already suspected to be true. You weren't very good at hiding your unfaithfulness. Arranged engagement or not, most of our acquaintances, see you as a cheater, Satoru."
"Whatever. Hopefully, she'll call this whole thing off, so my father can at least still have a good relationship, in business and outside of it, with her father."
"What are you going to do if she doesn't call it off?"
Satoru sighs, sinking into his chair, "Live a miserable life by her side, I guess."
Suguru's laughter dies down a bit, "Come on, man don't be like that. Y/n's pretty, rich, and sweet, and there are times she's a lot of fun. You should know all of that considering you both basically grew up together."
Satoru glares at Suguru through his white lashes, "You marry her if you think all those things about her."
"It's not that I think-" a knock on the door interrupts the two of them, Yuna poking her head through the door.
"Sir, the board members are ready, and I set your coffee in the conference room."
"Thank you, Yuna," Satoru stands up and looks down at Suguru as he grabs the portfolio of his table for the meeting, "If you want you can wait for her and we can meet downstairs after I meet with my father and y/n."
"Y/n's coming," Suguru asks laying back down on the couch.
Satoru shakes his head, "We're going to have lunch, later, and talk over what happened Saturday."
Suguru looks up at him, watching as Satoru buttons his suit up, "Well good luck with that I guess. Hope things work out for you."
Stepping out of the door, Satoru mumbles in agreement, only loud enough for him to hear, "I hope it does."
~
You look at yourself in the mirror of your walk-in closet, smoothing your hands over the purple skirt, and tugging the waistband up further. Glancing at yourself again you decide to loosen the white shirt you have tucked in, making it more comfortable and the skirt feel less tight around your waist. Satisfied with how you look for your lunch with Satoru, you slip into a pair of heels and head out your bedroom door.
You walk down the stairs, your father standing at the bottom of them as he comes at the exact moment you're leaving. He gives you a tight smile, reaches up to help you down from the last step, and presses a kiss on your forehead. "Going somewhere?" He points to your outfit, a knee-length pencil skirt with a white bodice tucked in and pointed white heels.
You nod your head, reaching for the white bag and hat that one of the maids brings to you, "I'm having dinner with Satoru today, remember?"
Your father nods his head, tapping his foot, "Yeah, I remember you mentioning it. Where are you planning on eating?"
"He's working today, so we'll be eating at the cafeteria in the building," you answer sliding the bag up to your elbow.
"And you dressed up for that?"
"Mmmh, yes and no. I dressed nicely 'cause I'm seeing him and because I'm planning on doing a little shopping with Hime afterward."
Your father seems to be content with your answer, "Okay. Well have fun, and don't forget to invite him for dinner."
"Yeah, sure. I have to get going, I'll see you later," you wave him off, heading out the door of the house, letting in close behind you with a loud thud. Your car is already pulled into the curved driveway, engine running. You throw your bag onto the floor of the passenger side when you open the door, the folder, that would ensure you still had some illusion of freedom when you married Satoru, that had been shoved into it slipping out. Reaching downwards you push it back into the bag and slip out your phone before zipping it up.
Connecting the phone to the car's Bluetooth, you pull out of the drive away, and towards the small curved paved road that leads to the large gate of your home. With no prior arrangements to meet at a restaurant, you dial Satoru's office number and the extension to his secretary. It takes a couple of rings before she picks up.
She repeats the same greeting she's probably said a million times over, in the same fake friendly voice, " This is Satoru's Gojo's secretary, Yuna, how can I help you?"
"This is y/n l/n, Satoru's fiancee. We had talked about having lunch today, but we never agreed on where to meet. Could you let him know I'll be waiting for him at the cafeteria?"
You hear some shuffling from her side, "Yes, of course, ma'am. I'll let him know."
"Thank you, Yuna. Have a nice day."
"No problem ma'am. You have a nice day also." The line goes dead.
You drive down the streets, in no real rush to arrive at where you need, letting your mind wander. It had been a little over six months since you had last had a full conversation with the man you were to marry, and in the seven years of your engagement, you were sure you'd had less than ten full conversations with the man. And yet here you were on your way to convince him to marry you under your terms and not your parents.
You wonder if he finds himself in the same position as you and if that's his reason for never calling off the wedding despite his insistence on not marrying you. If his parents are also pushing him to marry you for the sake of their company. It's the only explanation.
Would he look at you like you were crazy when you presented the idea of getting married under the terms that suited both of you and your families? Would he even agree to sign it? He had to right? If he wanted to inherit his father's company and ensure an heir, he'd agree to sign off a part of his life to you as long as he got to maintain his current lifestyle, right? It was what you wanted, so why wouldn't he?
Reaching a stoplight, you press the tips of you're fingers against your eyes, the memory of a bright smile flashing behind it. If only you had thought of this plan sooner, you would've still been able to experience love even while chained for life to a man you didn't love. His name slips out of your lips in a sigh, bouncing off the interior of the car while your eyes begin to burn with tears. "Kenji. Oh god, why did I have to meet you?"
You swear you can still smell his cologne clinging to the pillows of the bed. The gentle touch of his hand as he caressed your face after spending the entire morning in bed. You can still hear the sound of his voice as he sang to you late at night before you had to leave his side. Leaving the four walls of the penthouse you had just sold devoid of any warmth you two brought you for two days out of the week.
You can feel your heart breaking even more as your recall the sweet memories you had built with him hidden from the prying eyes of your father. The fantasy burned when you later found he had left you for someone else, causing you to question the entirety of your relationship with Kenji. You can still remember the day you received a small manilla folder filled with pictures of him in bed with another woman in the space you had once called your home. You didn't even have the strength to confront him in person, sending him a text with the pictures attached telling him things were over. You didn't even respond or answer any of his countless messages or calls and put the penthouse up for sale the next week without even asking him. Saturday night had been the first time you had seen him in over a year.
The car of you pulls ahead, forcing you to push the man you held close to your heart out of your head, and drive closer to the man who, if everything went well, would occupy a space of your life.
~
Satoru is stepping out of his father's office when Yuna greets him, taking the stack of papers from him, "Sir, Miss. l/n called before I could get in touch with her and asked me to let you know she would be meeting you in the cafeteria. I also went ahead and canceled the reservation for the restaurant right after she called."
Satoru nods, walking towards his office, "How long ago did she call?"
"About thirty minutes ago sir. I believe she's already here, one of the cafeteria staff members called. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner sir, but I didn't want to interrupt you and your father."
"It's okay, Yuna. It's not your fault." He says turning on his heel to head downstairs, "Can you let Suguru know to meet me at the entrance in about an hour? My afternoon is clear now, right?"
"Thank you, sir. And of course, I'll let him know. It is, except for a few papers you have left to look over."
"Okay. I'm going to take a few hours for myself after meeting with my fiance, but I'll be back to finish those before the day is over. Okay?"
"Okay, sir. Enjoy Your lunch." Yuna bows as Satoru enters the elevators.
You're already sitting at a table near a window when Satoru makes his way down to meet you. Adjusting the button of his jacket as he approaches your table, watching as you raise the cup in front of you up to your lips, he greets you, "You're early."
You barely glance at him setting the cup down and adjusting its angle, scowling when you speak up to him, "You're late, actually."
Satoru glances at his watch as he takes the seat on the opposite side of the table, noting that he is fifteen minutes late. "To be fair you called my secretary last minute to let me know we'd be having lunch here," he says as he calls over one of the cafeteria workers with a wave of his hand, he glances at you, "You want anything?"
You shake your head as the worker nears the table, "I'm good, thank you."
Satoru shrugs and turns to tell the employee what he wants, "I'll have the meatball spaghetti, and the ma'am here will have a salad," you open scoff and open your mouth to protest, but Satoru talks over you, "and half a serving of the same thing I'm having." The worker leaves and Satoru turns back to you, smiling.
You frown at him, "I told you I didn't want anything."
"We're supposed to be having lunch together, what would it look like if I'm sitting here stuffing my face while you just drink," he peers into your cup -"tea. Plus the food here is actually pretty decent."
You exhale from your nose, adding an edge to your words to the undertones of what you are trying to say is clear, "Do you do this a lot? Order for the women you are seeing?"
Satoru's smile disappears, understanding the implication of your words. He leans towards you, speaking under his breath, "I don't force myself on women." He leans back out, "I don't have to do anything like that, they are all very willing." He looks at your inscrutable face, trying to read what might be going on in your head as you sip on your tea. He clears his throat before speaking to you in a hushed voice, as if he's trying to keep his affairs hiding the entire time, "About the other night, it wasn't what it looked like. I was only helping Ava get some fresh air."
"I don't really care what you do, Satoru," you sigh, stirring the cup of coffee, "In fact, I don't care for you at all. The only reason I'm going through with this marriage, why I've been waiting around like some love-sick puppy, is because I have no other options." You look up at him, your eyes blank and emotionless. Putting your hands on your lap, you continue speaking, "And now that I know you're on the same page as me, I have a proposal."
Satoru stares blankly at you. The words you spoke replaying in his head like a broken record, his mouth gaping like a fish's, "I-I thought you liked me."
You let out a snort, the sound surprising you both as you break your usual composure, your manicured hand resting on your chest as you laugh. "What? Me like you? Mr. Playboy, who only finishes himself off? What gave you that idea?"
"So you do have someone else." He responds, his hand clenching under the table.
You laugh again, more loudly than the last, "What? No. Honestly, Satoru, who is putting these ideas in your head? I haven't been seeing anyone since before you returned. Unlike you, I don't want rumors flying around."
Satoru stares at you, his fingers tapping against the tabletop, "Okay so you're not seeing anyone, but you don't like me...so why are you have you been waiting around for this wedding to happen?"
You sip from your cup, humming and looking out the window at the people that walk outside the building. "Several reasons, two really. One my dad wants me to marry you. He thinks you'd be a good husband," you chortle, taking another sip from your tea before continuing, "And you're...just there. I doubt you have intentions of marrying anyone else, given that you seem to like to sleep around a lot, and I have no intentions of preventing you from doing that, but I also assume that because you don't want to marry, but you'll still lead an heir for when you inherit your dad's company. So my deal is, I marry you, give you one heir, and you can keep leaving your promiscuous life. Meanwhile, I can still live the comfortable life I've had, take care of our child, and do whatever else I please."
Satoru stares at you, his mouth dry and at a loss for words. He starts to question the image he had built of you. Questions the longing glances from your younger days. The flustered looks you'd give him whenever he would visit, "Did you ever have feelings for me or have you been planning this the entire time we've been engaged."
You look at him, tapping your fingers along the curve of your cup, humming. You look tired of all his questions, your lips pressed together in a thin line. "I think at one point I did, when we were younger... probably when we were kids, but I would consider that more of a childhood crush. It didn't go beyond that." You finish the drink from your cup, "So I guess you can say that I've been planning this since the rumors about you started spreading. I wasn't going to bring it up if the rumors were false of course, but Saturday night...well you know."
Satoru leans on the table, "Okay, but why? Why go through all these lengths if you know what type of man I've been? Why me?"
"I already told you, you're here and my father likes you," your rub your temples, "It's not much more than that. We both get the freedom we both want. You don't have to be faithful to me, and I can continue living without a care in the world. We can both use each other."
Satoru leans back in his chair, running his tongue along the inside of his mouth, fingers thrumming against the table, "Fine." You smile at him for the first time since he sat down, reaching to pull out a vanilla folder from your bag, "What is that?" Satoru asks eyeing the folder as you pull out a stack of papers from it.
"Our marriage contract. I thought it would be best if I bought it with me, and that no one else knew about this except me and you." Satoru takes the stack of papers, flipping through the first page. "It's simple really, just a few ground rules, like separate bedrooms, and schedules for sex to conceive a child."
Satoru reads through the first page, eyeing you when he reaches a particular clause "It says here I can't sleep with anyone else while we try to conceive. I thought you said you wouldn't interfere with my extramarital relations."A
"And I won't outside of this instance. I don't want to...catch something," you say, signaling one of the waiters for a refill, "I'm sure you understand at least that much."
He nods and continues reading through the document, "Okay, the part about no sex after producing an heir, what if our parents ask for a second grandchild, we're both single children and I know my mother would want a second grandchild...at the very least."
"Okay, then we can change that to accommodate two children instead of one," you reach for a pen in your bag and hand it to him, "Well wait two years before conceiving a second child."
Satoru shakes his head, "They'll be at least a year apart, the faster we get it over the better."
You open your mouth to protest but consider his reasoning. If you waited two years before having another, it'd mean he wouldn't get to live outside your marriage, and it also meant you'd have to deal with him touching you for two years longer, "Fine. At least a year apart."
He scribbles down the new terms, and continues reading, "Separate rooms are reasonable, but I think we should sleep in the same room at least until we have our two children." He doesn't wait for you to answer and scratches out the clause before replacing it.
The conversation continues for a few more minutes, Satoru winning some of the changes and you a few others, by the end of it all the contract of your marriage has been adjusted to accommodate the two of you.

"I think that's all for now," Satoru says as in scribbles is signature on the papers, and takes a bite of one of the meatballs on his plate, "we can adjust this along the way, can't we? I mean some of these things are bound to change as we grow older and as our kids do, like the family trips and such, and things are bound to pop up."
You nod, your brain aching from the many questions Satoru had already asked as you discussed the terms of your arranged marriage, "Yeah, that sounds fine." You start gathering your things, reaching for the contract to put back in the folder and into your bag, "My dad asked me to tell you you're invited for dinner."
Satoru nods, tapping his fingers lightly on the curve of the table, "I'll be there just let me know when. So you really didn't like me this entire time."
"It almost sounds like you want me to like you or something," you laugh looking at him with a tight-lipped smile, "but I know that isn't the case when you spent just over seven years avoiding this marriage. Honestly surprised you didn't call off the whole thing with how much you evaded even looking in my general direction."
Satoru laughs through his teeth, watching you get up from, an unknown feeling bubbling in the pit of his stomach, "I did, didn't I?" He stands up following you through the building cafeteria and out to the lobby, glancing around until he spots Suguru walking out of the elevator, who shoots him a mock look of surprise when he sees him walking behind you.
"I'll let you know when dinner is. You still have the same number right?" You ask as you turn to look at him, internally laughing at your own question. Most couples would already have each other's numbers, but you and Satoru weren't exactly a couple. At least not by your choice.
Satoru tucks his hands behind him, raising his middle finger at Suguru who approaches the two of you, "Yeah. It's the same."
You smile at him, pulling your bag to your elbow, "Good to know. I'll be going now, it looks like you have plans,"- you point to Suguru before greeting him- "Hello Suguru, it's nice seeing you."
Your future husband's best friend nods his head and smiles at you, "Good to see you to y/n, it's been a while. I don't think I've seen you since Shoko's party, which if I'm honest I can't completely remember."
Satoru raises an eyebrow, he never took you as a person who partied or even attended parties outside of the ones your parents made you attend. He would have to add that to the list of misperceptions he had of you.
You chuckle at Suguru, lowering your head down in an almost shy manner, "I don't doubt that, things did get out of hand. Well, I have to go, it was nice seeing you Suguru," - you turn towards Satoru, giving him a quick goodbye nod- "I'll text you about dinner."
He nods and watches you leave out the spinning doors, waiting until you are out of earshot before looking at Suguru with both eyebrows raised, "What happened at Shoko's party? And why was y/n there, I didn't think she even went to parties?"
Suguru shakes his head, throwing an arm around Satoru's shoulders and pulling him out the same doors you walked out of, "Dude like I said I don't even remember, and it looks like you don't know everything about your future little wifey."
"I guess not," Satoru lours, drawing the teasing glaze of his friend.
"What does that make you sad or something?"
"She said she never liked me."
Suguru's eyebrows raise in surprise, "Oh...Oh!" A smile creeps onto his face, "So you're hurt. Lucky for you I know the perfect place to fix your ego," he says, slapping Satoru's back hard before dragging him towards his white Camero.
~
The overhead lights of the club are dimmed down to their lowest setting, barely allowing anyone to see. Only neon pink lights that run along the walls and stage are the only lights that light the entirety. Satoru can see the half-dressed woman moving down the pole and opening her legs before slowly crawling towards him and Suguru. Out of the corner of his eye, Satoru can see Suguru lean onto his knees, running his tongue along his bottom lip as the dancer crawls closer to them. Satoru feels his nerves stand to a point as he watches the woman lean back on her feet and bounce herself on her knees while running a hand from her chest to the waistband of the bejeweled thong she wears.
Annoyance is all he feels as he watches her provocative figure dance sensually in front of them. Your words echo in the back of his head even as the woman moves off the stage and closer to him. Satoru knows that he should be enjoying the salacious dancing of his favorite dancer, knows that he should start to feel his pants tighten as she crawls into the space between his thighs, but instead all he can think is about you.
You and your dissatisfied stare as you tell him that you're marrying him just because he's there. All he thinks about is your pursed red lips as you get up from your chair and pay for the bill by dropping a couple of dollars on the table as if he were nothing more than the equivalent of one of your father's mistresses to you
Out of the corner of his eye, he turns to look at Suguru, who has pulled one of the other girls into his lap and is now tracing his patterns on her skin. His head curved upwards as he brings a glass up to the girl's lips for her to drink from his cup before pressing their lips together. Satoru sighs turning back his attention to the girl between his thighs, pushing her to the side gently.
Suguru looks up, lips slightly swollen, and watches Satoru get up and walk around the chair, "You okay, man?"
"I'm fine, just need to use the bathroom," he waves off, shoving his hands into his pockets before heading to the restrooms. From the corner of his eye, Satoru sees one of the club's dancers looking at him over a glass. He takes her in from the tip of her toes to the dip of her hips to the color of her hair. She looks enough like you he decides, nodding his head towards the restrooms and pulling out a few big bills from his pocket. The girl smiles, putting her tray of drinks down before following behind him.
As soon as the bathroom doors close behind her, Satoru is pushing her down to her knees while undoing his belt. He scowls a bit when the girl eagerly reaches to touch him over the dark blue material of his boxers, letting her long nails outline his bulge, running her tongue over her bottom lip as she feels his size.
Leaning against the edge of the sink, the girl dragging her knees along the dirty titles of the men's room to get closer to him, Satoru pulls down the waistband to his boxers, so it rests on his thighs just below his balls. He strokes himself a few times, running his hands through the girl's hair before tapping the head on her lips.
The girl sticks out her tongue, swirling her tongue around the tip, taking in only an inch to her mouth to suck on slightly, and then retracting to repeat the only process until there's precum oozing from Satoru's slit. Satisfied with her work, she takes more of him into her welcoming mouth, easing her way down his length until her nose brushes against the neatly trimmed hairs of Satoru's pubic area.
Satoru sighs as her mouth constricts around him, drool seeping out of the corner of her mouth. His head is thrown back, small sighs fleeing from him as the girl beneath him bobs her head, hollowing her cheeks as she does her best to please him. He glances down when he feels her reach up to fondle his balls, some of the pleasure he had been feeling dissolving from his body as he notices the differences between you and her. The length of her hair was different from yours, along with the texture and the ways you each chose to style it. Her nails were long and painted in bright colors with little gems decorating them, whereas yours were trimmed much shorter than hers and painted in softer colors. Her lips were colored a deep red leaving a mark on him as her lips moved along his dick, but yours were always a more natural color that he could barely tell the difference between your natural lip color and when you wore lipstick. He wonders if you'd also leave a lipstick stain if you sucked him off.
Would you even give blowjobs once you were married? Was your mouth as warm as the girl sucking him off right now? Would you be able to take all of him in your pretty little mouth that was always set into a thin line? Would you blow him as eagerly as this girl? Could you deepthroat him?
Pushing the girl's hair back, Satoru pretends that it's you who's on your knees in front of him. That it's you drooling around his cock. That you are the one looking up at him as he finally gets the chance to look down on you instead of the other way around. And that's all it takes for him to release his cum down the girl's throat, pushing her head further down until her nose is completely buried in his white pubic hairs. Groaning as his body relaxes as he shoots his seed down her throat.
The girl comes back up coughing, wiping the drool and cum off the corner of her lips. Satoru barely spares her a glance as she gets up, tucking himself back into his pants, and shoving a wad of cash into her hand. He waves her off before she can start counting, turning to wash his hands and face, anger bubbling in the pit of his stomach,
He was angry with himself for cumming at the idea of you. Hated that he had these newly discovered feelings for you and that you had this much of a hold on him when he had spent the last seven years telling himself you meant nothing to him. But most of all he hated you.
Drying his hands off he pulls out his phone and shoots Suguru letting him know he was heading back to the office to finish off some paperwork. When he gets to his car he looks through his contact list before finding your father's number and calling it.
~
You run your fingers over the tops of the fabrics on the racks with your free hand, barely listening to Utahime as she interrogates you over your lunch with Satoru. "Are you really going to marry him, even with all the rumors going around?" She peers at you over the rack of clothes.
"For the billionth time, Hime, yes. It's what my father wants." You turn to look at a different rack of clothes, listening to the soft click of her heels on the floor of the store.
She steps next to you, lips set into a thin line, "Okay but just because your parents want you to marry him doesn't mean you have to. It's your life. What about Kenji? Why don't you give him a second chance? He made a mistake, but it wasn't like he did it more than once." Utahime pauses for a bit, leaning in closer to you, "He still asks about you? Every time he comes over he'll ask about how you're doing, and if you've gotten married yet. He looks so relieved when we tell him you're okay and that you're still not married."
Your breath gets stuck in the back of your throat at the sound of his name. Your stomach turns into knots when you hear that he asks about you. Shaking your head you go back to scanning the racks for something you might like, this shop being your last stop of the day as the starts to fall onto the horizon. "Kenji doesn't matter, he isn't a part of my life anymore. Even if he hadn't slept with someone else, my father wouldn't let me marry him."
Utahime pouts behind you, "Okay, but that still doesn't mean you have to marry Satoru."
"Actually, it does. If he doesn't break off the engagement, I can't do anything about it. And it seems like he's never going to do that cause probably in the same boat I'm in. Both our families want us to marry cause it's beneficial to both of them. Our feelings don't matter. And like I said, I'd rather be married to someone like Satoru go, than to go through all that I went through with Kenji, only to end up dying alone."
"Y/n..." Utahime whines, trying to come up with something to make you see that marrying Satoru just because your parents wanted you to would only make you even more miserable.
"What do you want to do for dinner?" You ask, stepping towards the counter with your card in hand.
"I don't know. Can we do fast food?" Utahime asks.
You take your card and bags from the employee, smiling at Hime as you both walk out the door, the sun peeking over the horizon as blues and oranges bleed into each other, "Yeah, sure. Where do you want to" The sound of your phone ringing stops you, your father's name flashing on the screen. You take a deep breath before answering, "Hello, daddy, did you need something?"
Your father's voices sound ecstatic when he answers, "I don't know what you did, but whatever it was thank god. Satoru just called and asked to come over for dinner this Saturday, so we can all decide on a wedding date." Your heart stops in your chest and your mouth runs dry as your father continues to speak. This wasn't the plan. You were supposed to discuss things further after getting your contract notarized. Talk things further without the involvement of your father. "He said that he wants to get married in a month."
"A month? That's too soon and fast isn't it?" Utahime raises an eyebrow at you, helping you steady yourself when she notices your legs start to tremble.
"You've been engaged for seven years, y/n. A month couldn't come fast enough. I'll talk to you more once you get home, I still have to call your mother." The line falls dead before you can argue further.
You stare blankly at the road in front of you, the wheels of cars flashing by. Your ears are ringing, and you can hear Utahime's voice far off asking if you're okay. The world is spinning as your keep repeating your father's sentences in your head, trying to make complete sense of them and rearrange your plan. Anger grows and spreads in your stomach up to your head as you come to terms with what Satoru had done. What had crawled up his ass that he suddenly wants to marry you after signing your agreement and after spending seven years ignoring your existence? The rage you feel coursing through your veins brings you back to reality and you can clearly hear and see Utahime kneeling in front of you. You have no idea when you sat down, but you quickly stand up gathering your shopping bags.
Utahime follows you as you start walking away from her and towards the intersection, away from your parked cars, "Y/n are you alright? Where are you going? What happened? What did your dad say?"
"He wants to get married in a month." You answer, pulling your phone out to dial his number, waving goodbye to Utahime who looks after you confused, "I'll call you later." You stick your hand out, grabbing a taxi as you repeatedly dial Satoru's number.
~
Satoru's fingers are slowly sliding beneath the skirt of your dress, soft skin meeting the tips of his fingers. His lips slide along your jaw, tongue lapping at the skin above your collar bones, gently nipping the skin. He can hear your faint sighs when his fingers reach and toy with the elastic of your underwear, his fingers slipping beneath the material to slide between your folds.
He pulls back from your neck and presses his lips to yours, quieting the whimpered moans you let out when he prods at your entrance. The corners of your lips tug upwards when he sinks two fingers into your warmth, a loud sigh slipping out from your lips.
"You like my fingers in you?" He asks, forehead pressed to yours, and his hips humping against his own hand as he slides his fingers in and out of your cunt. "Are my fingers better than your tiny ones?"
He watches you swallow and nod, your hand reaching down to grip his wrist when his thumb circles your clit. "Yes, 'Toru. Love your fingers, they feel so good when you're fucking me with them."
He groans when you answer, your walls clenching around his digits. Rutting more harshly into you, he reaches up to pull down the top of your dress, your breast spilling out. His eyes widen when he sees you weren't wearing a bra the entire time, your nipples hardened. "Fuck," he mumbles reaching up with his free hand to pinch each one of them in turns before leaning forward to take one in his mouth.
Peering up at you through his eyelashes he takes just how much a beauty you are. To think that there was a point in time where Satoru thought that his wife, the breathtaking woman resting on top of his desk with her legs spread and his fingers shoved up her pussy, wasn't the most ethereal woman to grace his eyes. He'd been utterly wrong, because there was no woman out there in the world who tasted just as good as you, who sang as beautifully as you did when he was knuckles deep, or balls deep, in your sweet cunt.
He continues to suck and tug your nipple between his teeth, relishing the high-pitched cries you let out when his teeth bite a little too harshly, while his other hand kneads your breast, the fat spilling out from between his fingers. The sounds of slurping and squelching bounce off the walls of his office, and he's sure the people outside know that Satoru is pleasing his wife the way a husband should.
He pulls away when he feels your soft walls clench and unclench around him, your nails digging into his wrist, and watches in awe as your head falls back. Your hips rock on his fingers on their own as he tugs and pulls on your buds. You are close to cumming, he can feel you spasming around him, your legs trembling. You look up at him as you start to lose yourself completely to the pleasure, breasts bouncing up and down as you chase your release.
The dream cums to an abrupt end when his phone's ringtone seepings into his dreams and jerks him away. Satoru searches for his phone blindly on his desk, sliding his finger across the green button without even checking who is calling him.
"What the fuck did you do?" you roar through the speakers of Satoru's phone, who looks around his office in confusion, painfully aware of the boner pressed to his slacks.
"What are you talking about?"
"Who in their fucking right mind wants to get married in a fucking month? We were supposed to talk this thing over! Just me and you! Why did you go behind my back and talk with my father!"
Oh. That's what you were talking about. The conversation with your dad he'd had after returning to the office. Satoru rubs sit back straight up, and adjust his pants, "I didn't go behind your back, we agreed to get married didn't we?"
"We did, but that doesn't mean I want to get married in a fucking month! Do you have any idea how long it takes to plan a wedding?"
Satoru shrugs, yawning into the phone, "Don't know. A week?"
He hears you sigh in frustration, and something clanks down on a surface hard, "Oh my god, I can't believe I'm going to have to marry you."
Satoru stands up grabbing his jacket from the back of his seat, leaving his office, "Shouldn't you have most of this planned anyways? We've been engaged for a really long time."
He hears you groan, and can almost see your usual put-together composure falling apart. "That would've been the case if we were a normal couple, and if one of us hadn't gone running off." Your side of the line falls quiet for a few moments before you speak again. "I don't want to see or hear from you until Thursday. I have things I need to figure out."
The line goes dead before he has a chance to ask what things. Satoru stands at the elevators staring at his phone screen, wondering what he had done that had gotten his panties up in a bunch. You both had decided to get married, so what was the problem? Where you still seeing the guy Suguru had mentioned? Is that what you had to take care of?
He sighs frustrated, and shoves his phone into the pocket of his pants, ignoring the feeling of his still hard cock pressing against his thigh.

Ch. 3 - Just an Accident
The ride felt longer than it actually was. As your conversation with Gojo began to wind down, you felt your anxiety about facing a first grade drift away and perpetual sleepiness set in. It became nearly impossible to keep your head up, eyes beginning to strain to stay awake. There came a point where you could no longer stay awake, head lolling backward and body falling limp.
In your unconscious state, as you should've expected, you began to fall to one side - your temple gently pressing against Geto's shoulder. Geto's body stiffened as soon as he felt your presence, unused to affectionate physical contact. His mind began to race with what to do, whether to wake you up or let you be.  It only took him a few seconds to decide what to do.
Ever so carefully, Geto gently moved you from his shoulder making sure you were undisturbed as he shifted your weight away from him. Instead of making sure you were upright again, he had fully moved you to the other side, your opposite temple now hitting Gojo's shoulder. Gojo quietly looked over at Geto with a confused expression as you continued sleeping away.  Geto gave Gojo a serious look, an intensely furrowed brow as he mouthed the words "leave her be," to him. Gojo furrowed his own brow and glanced down at you. His sour expression softened as he grew accustomed to your pressure, using his free hand to come around and gently pat your head. You shifted your body from the sudden stimuli but managed to stay asleep, remaining that way for the rest of the ride. If only you'd been even partially awake...
Tumblr media
"Y/N," you began to hear your voice getting called. It was more than likely that it wasn't the first time Gojo had said your name in an attempt to wake you. "Hey, Y/N."
"Hmm?" You picked your head up, feeling groggier than ever as you gained consciousness.
"We're here!" Gojo's voice reached its normal volume and cheery tone. "You're a deep sleeper!"
"Huh?" You were completely out of it, looking around to find Geto already out of the vehicle. You then realized where your head had been and your face easily grew hot. "Sorry!"
"Don't be, it was my pleasure to be your pillow," Gojo chuckled, "let's just head in so we can get this over with." You had to admit his phrasing hurt a little, but you considered your little nap a win.
"Hey there, sleepyhead," Geto greeted you as you approached the high school. You blushed and slowed your pace with his words, letting Gojo take the lead.
"Man, something awful must have been going on at this school for two first grades to manifest here," Gojo stretched out while staring up at the building.
"Yeah, tell me about it," Geto agreed, looking up himself as Gojo meandered over to his best friend's side to toss his arm around his shoulder. You felt out of place, like some kind of third wheel to the pair.
"Right! Down to business!" Gojo stood straight and lifted two fingers in front of him. You noticed how Gojo's voice sounded just a bit shaky as he removed his arm from Geto. "Emerge from the darkness, blacker than darkness. Purify that which is impure."
With his words, the dark veil began to cover the school. You felt a chill go up your spine as it always had when curses were near. You cradled yourself as the nerves came back, eyes darting around to see if you could see the curse anywhere close.
"You okay, Y/N?" Geto came to your side and spoke calmly as Gojo meandered about the schoolyard on his own. He placed a gentle hand on your shoulder and could easily feel the slight shakes that had overcome your body.
"Y-yeah, I'll be fine. Just need a second," you nodded, meeting eyes with Geto - his gaze one of concern and yours one of worry.
"Don't worry," he reassured you with a smile, easing his serious expression, "you'll do great. And I'm sure you'll impress Satoru."
"I hope so," you sounded less than confident as you looked toward Gojo who suddenly looked back to meet your gaze. You swallowed hard. Your emotions could easily mess up your technique. You needed to remain as calm as possible if you were going to succeed.
"You've got this," Geto repeated and began walking toward Gojo.
It was then that you felt the presence begin to emerge, its large claws grasping the courtyard grass as it came up from whatever Hell it was inhabiting. It had a body as black as midnight, no eyes in sight - just a singular large mouth, gaping with hundreds of shark-like teeth.  You were completely frozen in fear. Gojo and Geto stood behind, looking upward at the large beast in action stances, ready to help should you need it.
"Y/N!" Geto shouted in your direction, noticing its speed - something that you didn't. "You need to move now if you're going to kill this thing!" You still stood frozen, as if you didn't hear Geto's warning. "Y/N!" He shouted even louder. "MOVE!"
You shook your head to snap out of it, quickly putting your palm against the ground to initiate your attack. Your technique involved the manipulation of electricity, any that you could find you could send coursing through your target to stun them. From there, you'd be able to deliver the fatal blow with your weapon of choice: Sai. (AN: I wrote this chapter before the latest chapter of the manga came out. In no way is Y/N inspired by Hajime lmao, just a coincidence.) Unfortunately, just as the creature froze in place and you darted in its direction with your weapons unsheathed, it regained its mobility. When you had gotten close enough, it managed to swat at you - it's large hand easily smacking you with great force.
You felt your body flying through the air in a sideways position, pain from the hit wracking your entire body made worse by what - or whom - you had hit. You swore you could hear something crack. As your bodies met, grunts from you both, you flung to the ground. You tried your best to pick your body up as Geto coughed while he caught his breath.
Gojo was already way on the creature, the second one also spawning and coming toward your platinum-haired savior full force.
"Are you alright?" Geto asked softly as he laid flat on his back. You were holding yourself up perpendicularly to his body with your head turned toward his, the closest the two of you had ever been. "That was quite the hit."
"I should ask you the same thing," you smiled and looked in his direction, out of breath as well. Geto prepared to take another breath, the pain a bit too much from the look of his intense wince. "Sugu-"
"Suguru, Y/N!" Gojo called out as he lightly jogged over to the two of you, interrupting your apology. The veil he created began to dissipate as he managed to defeat both creatures on his own with ease. "You guys okay?"
"Yeah, for the most part," Geto answered as Gojo held out his hand for you to take. You blushed and placed a delicate hand in his. You winced as you stood, knowing that you, too, had cracked a few ribs. It was clear that Geto was a little worse off based on his attempts to get up on his own.
"You probably should get checked out when we get back. I'm sure Shoko would be more than happy to take a look," Gojo chuckled as he watched Geto slowly get to his feet on his own and dust off his pants.
"That's the plan," Geto agreed with a strained voice, placing a hand at the side of his ribcage.
The speed you had gained from the creature's hit caused you to smack into him much harder than how you were hit, making his injuries a bit more severe than your own. But the guilt you felt weighed much heavier than the pain that he was in, the heaviness in your chest the marker of that. You felt a desperate need to fall on the floor in front of him and beg for forgiveness, but you figured it wasn't the time.
Gojo quickly went to the car to make the call to the higher ups that the creature had been vanquished, and to provide a progress report to Yaga on your performance.  Meanwhile, you stayed behind as Geto sat down on a bench with a pained look on his face. He was trying to take deep breaths to test just how badly he had hurt his ribcage.
"I...can help," you offered in a small voice, sitting down next to him on the bench.
"Yeah?" Geto wondered, a bit of doubt in his voice. "How?"
"Well...ya' know, electrical pulses," you shrugged. "I can lightly stimulate your nerves to help with your pain, at least the muscle pain that you have. Just, um..., lift up your shirt." Geto appeared to be interested in the help you had to offer.
You felt your own nerves, emotional nerves, become on edge as his fingers curled around the edges of his shirt and pull it up. His muscles were clearly defined, your shaking digits finding their way against his warm flesh. You could already see the start of deep, purple bruises on his ribcage. It just made you feel all the more guilty.
"It's going to feel a little funny at first," you mumbled and began letting the electrical current you could generate lightly charge your fingertips.
"I'll say..." Geto gave a single, anxious laugh as you let the small pulses flow into his body. You could see his muscles tense up with the stimuli. "But...I think it's working."
"Good," you smiled happily to yourself. "I usually do this to help with my cramps. It works most of the time."
"Guys!" You heard Gojo suddenly calling from the car. His voice shocked the two of you, causing you to immediately bring your hands back and Geto to pull his shirt down with more force than needed. "Let's go! Long ride back!"
Tumblr media
"Sorry about hitting you," you apologized when you were back in the car on the way back to campus, the first of many apologies you had planned out. It was Gojo's turn to be asleep, his head against the backseat window while you and Geto chatted.
"No worries," he chuckled and winced, "not like you could've helped it. That thing was intense."
"Yeah," you looked down toward your lap, clenching your fists, "I guess this means I won't be recommended for first grade."
"Not yet at least," Geto shrugged, "but that doesn't really mean too much." It was clear he was just saying that to help you feel better. What grade you were had a large hand in how much you'd get paid as a sorcerer - and what kind of jobs you'd be assigned.
"Sure," you sighed and began biting the inside of your cheek. "I got nowhere with him today."
"Of course you did!" He again reassured you. "You had a good conversation on the way here. You fell asleep on his shoulder. He helped you up. It was a great start! And we've still got plenty of time."
"Sure," you repeated, staring down at your hands pathetically placed in your lap. You could feel your ribcage pulsing with each breath you took, a reminder that Geto had it much worse. Your face flushed with anxiety over this realization.
"Don't give up hope yet, Y/N," Geto smiled before closing his eyes and leaning back on the headrest.

"And here I thought we're just gonna fix the little table you brought for your kid," his seducing whispers tickled your right ear as he bit on it gently. You could feel his hands get themselves busy by tracing the shape of your body, slowly and gently as he pressed his bulge against your ass.
"Geto stop it," it was the nth time you asked him to halt his perverted ministrations while you guys were in the middle of fixing something. You could already tell that he's already keeping himself at home.
"Are we really gonna stop this?" He pressed himself again and this time his bulge brushed against the thin cloth of your skirt. "Are we really gonna stop this, mommy?"
The way he addressed the title was something off but it wasn't that, it in fact made you curious. Come to think of it, you were older than this man and also considering you have a seven year old son. Geto has been your neighbor for a couple of months now and you could say that him and your son get along all the time. You didn't understand what really connected the both of them to be close but you also understood that your son needed a good father figure to look up to. Or so you thought...
"Quit it, Geto. It's not funny- Ah!" His hand suddenly groped one of your breast, giving it a little massage before cupping both of them. The sudden touch he gave you made you arch your back that your to rest your head unto his chest and your ass pressing itself more into his bulge. As you looked down, the position itself gave you the view of his skilled hands playing with your mounds.
This feeling felt new to you again. Has it been months? Years perhaps?
"Geto-"
"Yeah? Enjoyin' yourself so much?" He chuckled as he felt the pressure of your soft ass against him and your plump breasts that he cupped selfishly. His eyes gazed at your round ass and it seems that you're either brushing it on purpose or you really are just wiggling yourself out from his grasp.
Neither matters, he thought. A little grin forming on his lips as he pressed it against your neck, deliciously and slowly leaving kisses until he blew a thin air to your nape. For him, every bit of reaction that you feel was like a reward to himself. He wanted to torment you sweetly, wanted you to become his. Was it the thought of you being plump with his kid? Hell nah, he didn't even want to be a father in the first place. He was so sure about it but then his little mind would long for little games. Dangerous games.
Well of course, little games like him filling you up and you bearing his kid. It was something that icked the young man to mess you up until your plump.
Without any hesitation he picked you up like a little ragged doll and went to your room where you slept. The sudden action of course surprised you but deep inside you, from the way he did his actions you somehow knew you guys would end up fucking. He threw you to bed, the soft bounce from the foam ricocheted as you lie down. He positioned himself just right in front of you, both of his palms resting on your knees.
"Suguru please, my kid will be coming home from school!"
"Yeah," he looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 4:00 in the afternoon. His well chiseled jawline evident before he clenched it, now his gaze focused on you.
Shit. That's all you have to say.
"What 'yeah'? Get off me please,"
He only nodded with a playful 'hmm' as he used his right palm to rest on your waist. "See, it looks so beautiful." He couldn't help himself but to put his other palm to your other waist.
"H-huh?"
"Seems your waist agrees that it likes the feeling of my palms," he snickered. Noticing how embarrassed you look, he knew he did well. "You're so beautiful, I'd fill you up until you don't want me anymore."
"Goodness Suguru," you whispered, your core already wanting for attention. You could feel your panties already soaking wet coming from his actions a while ago. Your skirt didn't even matter to him anymore, he was quick to lift that skimpy skirt you have and let him have access to your deepest desires.
"I know," he started to run his thin and delicate fingers to the lacy thin hem of your panties. His fingers continued to scan the underwear just at the front coverage when he followed a certain pattern of the underwear.
"It's thin," he gazed at you. His sly eyes that teased you. Oh you know this gaze too damn well and you sure feel intoxicated by it. His fingertips still grazing to that lacy front coverage. You couldn't take your eyes off him as well. Not that you were not embarrassed but by the way he gazed at you. It felt so demanding that the moment he laid his eyes at you.
"H-huh?"
He only chuckled at your dumbfounded response. Geto slowly moves his lips closer to your right ear. He blew another thin air that made your brows furrow and lips shut.
"You seem pretty good with choosing colors," he pecked your cheek and slowly and gently nudged his nose against it, it seemed romantic and gentle that you didn't even stop the man.
I mean, who wouldn't?
"Hmm, how did you know I like the color burgundy?"
Oh.
Shit.
The color made you remember that your officemate eventually gave this to you during the little holiday party to you had alongside the other workers.
"I really can't think of another gift to give you aside this one, it'll come handy next time."
You remember her silly smile with her wink as she gave you the present in a small paper bag. Recalling it made you flustered in frustration.
"It's not what you think, a friend gave it to me and said It'll come handy-" another kiss on your cheek.
"So your friend does know what she's doing,"
"Geto stop it- I don't like it." his hands now slowly groping your soft, round, and voluptuous breasts. He slowly unbuttoned half of the white blouse you had on until he could fully access his itchy fingers to feel the warmth of your boobs.
"Hmm." He rested his forehead on your shoulder, keeping himself entertained. His slender fingers slowly lowered your bra revealing your peaks erect from the stimulation. "Your body says otherwise,"
A victorious grin perked up on his lips.
"You jerk."
"Yeah, I'd be honest." looking at you with his sly eyes and amused lips, he left a kiss on your cleavage and let his lips take over your left nipple. "I jerk on you often times."
"Please Geto- Ah!"
How could he say that to you so bluntly? Was it something he'd do normally? Of course not. He's probably messing around. Unless??
He knew what he was doing and he's enjoying every bit of it. You could almost see that annoying ghost smile of his. You could have resisted but whatever happened to it, it's long gone.
As far as you could remember, it has been years since you last felt the high of euphoria of sexual pleasure. You had no time for this since you were too busy taking care of your son plus his father was an irresponsible individual, what do you expect?
"Give in to me," Geto whispered those sweet words to you as he continued to suck like a greedy and hungry baby. "You won't regret it."
You were so confused but it felt so fucking nice. It's too late to say no him because his touches were already eating the modesty left in you.
"Let's be selfish, yeah?" he encouraged. "Wanna breed you so bad and bully your lil cervix."
You were driven by his devilish temptations and it got the best of you and without any hesitation you reached for the clasp of your bra and undid it. The clicking sound of you unclasping it.
"Just- please just hurry up."
Oh? She's really telling me to hurry up huh? Well, that's gonna be her problem.
He waited for this.
Geto could sense how embarrassed you were with your actions but he was entertained. Of course he couldn't get pass this moment.
Every single day he prayed for it.
"Yeah, I'm kinda excited that your little pal gonna witness his mom bear another kid."
"Fuck you."
"Yeah, I'll fuck you so hard..." He chuckled and nibbled on your ear. "... You'd really beg me to wife you up."

“You up for it?”
You were sitting at your usual spot at Maki’s. It was still quite early so the pub wasn’t as crowded as it usually is, and it was a weekday. You were there to meet Sukuna but the owner suddenly started chatting you up like she usually does, beating around the bush for a bit before she finally asked you a favor. Apparently, they’re under-staffed and is in need of another waitress but hiring a new one was out of the question since it was a temporary post, just until the person who really works for her recovers from a broken ankle.
“It’s just from four in the afternoon to eight on weekdays, and since you’re usually hanging around here during those times, I thought of asking you. We’re just really short of hands for the next week,” she said, flashing you a rueful smile. “I asked Ieiri but she’s in the middle of her internship.”
Maki had been there for you before, talking to you when you had issues you couldn’t share with your friends and always giving you free non-alcoholic drinks during your exams, and you didn’t see anything wrong with helping her out for once. You’ll earn from it, too. “Sure. When do I begin?”
She clapped her hands excitedly which took you aback. She’s always so tough, barking orders here and there or putting rowdy customers in their proper places, that you didn’t really expect her to be all giggly and excited all of a sudden. “You’ll do it?
“Yeah, why not?”
She hugged you then. “Oh my god, Y/N. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
You waved her aside, chuckling. “It’s fine. It’s for a week anyway. No big deal.”
She sighed in relief. “You don’t know how much weight you’ve taken off my shoulders, so it is a big deal. Okay for you to start on Monday?”
You nodded.
“I’m giving you all the cherry blossom tea smoothie you want.” She grinned cheekily at you then. “And speaking of cherry blossoms, I noticed you and Sukuna coming here together. Are you together now?”
You felt your face heating up at the mention of the man's name but you shook your head. "Not yet."
"Yet?"
You chuckled awkwardly. "We're working it out, I guess. We're not exclusively dating though and he isn't my boyfriend..." You felt a bit uncomfortable at the thought. It's the first time you're saying it out loud, what Sukuna isn't to you, and you had to admit the notion was kinda disappointing. But the problem was with you. "Yeah...just that."
"He likes you though. I see the way he looks at you." Maki smiled knowingly at you. "Does this have something to do with your no dating policy? It's ridiculous if you ask me. Sukuna is a good man."
Ah, straightforward as always. "I know that. That's why I'm letting him have a go at changing my mind."
"And is he successful so far?"
"He's almost there." You frowned then, catching her comment about him. "You seem to know him well."
"We go way back," Maki explained. "My old man still owns the pub when he was a student and he came here all the time listening to me and that old geezer fight."
"Oh. That must have been a sight."
"Plus he's friends with my cousin, Toji."
You tilted your head in question. Sukuna never really talked about his friends, and he has never introduced you to any of them. It’s the first time you’re hearing about that side of him. “Really? What was he like back then?”
Maki snorted. “He was an idiot who had too much time in his hands. He’s smart, but had a penchant for mischief. I mean, I guess you already figured that out just looking at him. Nobody really thought he would end up to be this big-shot architect.”
You laughed. “Really?”
“Toji’s influence, I guess. That one’s a bigger idiot.” She looked deep in thought for a moment then said, “Why his wife chose him instead of Sukuna is a puzzle.”
You were confused. You did not know what she was talking exactly, and why her cousin’s wife should have chosen Sukuna was beyond you. For some reason, you didn’t have a good feeling about it, then you remembered what he told you before about dating just one person.
Could it be… “No…” You didn’t even realize you said that out loud until Maki held onto your hand, squeezing gently.
“I’m sorry. I said too much.”
“Well, don’t stop now,” you found yourself saying, unable to help it. “Is the situation what I think it is? Your cousin’s wife…He told me before that he only ever steadily dated one girl. Is it…?”
Maki nodded, grimacing. “They cheated on him six years ago.”
“So, he lost his girlfriend and best friend?” You felt your heart break at the thought. You might not have known him back then, but you couldn’t help but feel bad on his behalf.
“Yes. I’m not saying it’s his fault, but he’s hardly ever there since he was busy.”
“It’s not enough grounds for them to do that!” you stated loudly, feeling genuinely hurt for him. Damn, if he dated just one woman ever and never had a relationship again before you – for six years – then that spoke volumes of how much it affected him afterwards. You caught yourself and flashed Maki an apologetic look. “I’m sorry.”
“Understandable.” She sighed. “He went overseas and didn’t come back until just two years ago. Guess why he came back.”
“Why?”
“To attend their wedding.”
You didn’t know what was more messed up, but you also know Sukuna to be a genuinely good person. If he disappeared for that long only to come back to attend his best friend and ex’s wedding, then it only meant he totally forgave them. If he was giving another relationship a chance, particularly with you, then it also meant he has healed. How he could be so caring and affectionate towards you despite what he went through astonished you, but maybe that’s just how he really was as a person.
“Are they okay now?”
“Yes.” She laughed slightly then. “You should see how he dotes on Toji’s son.”
Maki ruffled your hair, seeing how you’ve reacted. “Just one piece of unsolicited advice, Y/N. If you decide to be with him, be certain about it and don’t ever hurt him.”
You only nodded, taking her words to heart. She was right. Just as you were afraid to be left alone, nobody deserves to be hurt like that. You wanted to be angry at the fact that his own best friend did that to him but at the same time, you were proud of him for coming out of it while maintaining a good view about the whole concept of relationships and perhaps love. It radiated in the way he treated you, and all the effort he is putting into making things work despite your hesitations.
He arrived a few moments later, showing you that crooked smile of his. You both had one beer, and over that, he asked about your day and he told you about yours. When you were finished with your drinks, he said, “Mind going out for a drive? I wanted to tell you something.”
“Okay.” You couldn’t meet his eyes after what Maki told you, and several times, he asked if you were okay to which you responded affirmatively, trying to keep your emotions at bay.
Sukuna took you to the cliffs just around the city limits, parking his car a few yards from the edge enough to have a good view of the sea of lights below. When he killed the engine, you disembarked from his Jeep, walking closer to the edge when you felt his hand on your arm.
“Not too close to the edge,” he said, looking at you with concern written all over his face, but before he could ask what was bothering you, you said, “You were going to tell me something.”
At that, he sighed as if in long-suffering. “Yes, that.” He looked at you seriously as if he was going to tell you something grave only to end up saying, “I’m going to be away for two weeks starting Monday. I’m going to London.”
Momentarily forgetting about your conversation with Maki, you blinked, not knowing whether to laugh or cry. “Why did you have to look like you’re about to tell me you’re going to be executed or something? Jesus, Sukuna.” You laughed despite yourself.
“Don’t laugh. I’m annoyed.” He pouted. “Aren’t you sad? Two weeks is a long time. I won’t get to see you, and I have to check for time zones if I want to talk to you over the phone.”
You held his hand, twining your fingers with his before raising it to plant a kiss on his knuckles. “I will miss you, but you don’t have to be so upset about it. I’ll be right here when you come back. Stop being all dramatic.”
“I’m not!”
“You’re funny.”
He rolled his eyes, but then said, “So, before that, I was planning to take you to meet my best friend and his wife on Saturday. I’ve been telling them about you…”
The rest of his words faded, the only thought registering in your head was how he mentioned his best friend and his wife. You were going to meet them. You couldn’t say no to that given that they seem to play integral parts in his life despite what happened. “Okay.”
“You’re gonna love their little boy,” he said excitedly.
“Sure…”
“But really, Y/N? You won’t have a whirlwind romance with some college brat while I’m away?”
You let go of his hand, stepping back. You didn’t like the sound of that. Not one bit. Not when he was speaking from experience. “What do you take me for?!” The words came out a little harsher than you intended, the resentment you felt for his previous relationship resurfacing.
He arched a brow at you, puzzled at your outburst. “Y/N, I was kidding.”
Not able to hold back anymore, you turned away from him as tears started flooding your vision. You didn’t even know why you were crying over the whole thing, and you just felt like an idiot as you faced him again, frantically drying your tears.
“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” He looked alarmed as he held onto both of your hands, stopping you from wiping harshly at your face. “Why are you crying? Is it because of what I said?”
You shook your head. “No…no. Can I hug you though?” you asked and he almost laughed as he himself drew you closer, wrapping his arms around you. “You never have to ask.”
You did the same, holding onto him tightly, hoping it was enough for you to get rid of any feeling of hurt left in him if there was any to begin with; that it was enough for him to be at ease where you were concerned when he goes away. Still, you wanted to make sure. You stayed like that until you’ve calmed down, thinking you were doing it more for yourself than for him.
“What brought this on?”
“You won’t get mad?” you asked between hiccups, looking up at him.
“Why would I?”
“Promise me first. I just don’t want to hide anything from you and it’s been bothering me.”
“Okay. I promise.” As if to emphasize his words, he pecked you on the tip of your nose. “Now what is bothering you?”
“Since you mentioned your best friend,” you began, “Toji, right?”
He eyed you, nonplussed. “How did you know?”
“Maki told me…” You started tearing up again. “She-she told me w-what happened. Everything…so I know…Please don’t get mad.”
He clucked his tongue. “That woman. Seriously.”
“I’m glad she told me and I’m sorry if I pried, but I can’t…”
“Is that why you’re crying?”
“Y-yes.”
“Why?”
“Because they hurt you.”
His expressions softened. “Silly.”
You pulled him close, wrapping your arms around him. “It’s not silly. Nobody deserves that, least of all you. You’re always so good to me, and I can’t imagine anybody doing that to you, least of all your best friend.”
Sukuna’s hug tightened a tad, placing his chin on top of your head. “No sense crying about it anymore, Y/N. I’ve forgiven and forgotten. It wasn’t their fault if they felt that way when I went away. They found common ground, I guess. Toji thought he was losing his best friend and she felt the same way.”
“Okay.”
“If it isn’t too much to ask, I want you to get to know them, too, just like I want to be close to Satoru, Suguru and Ieiri. They’re important to me.”
“Okay.”
“You mean it?”
“Yes.” You met his gaze. “If they’re important to you, then I will do that for you and meet them.”
He wiped away your tears then. “Thank you.”
“Don’t sweat it,” you mumbled, breathing in deeply. “Sorry you had to see me like this.”
“You don’t have to hide anything from me.” He shrugged then, snickering. “Maki’s timing sure is impeccable.”
And so, Saturday came and you held onto Sukuna’s hand as he helped you out of the Jeep after parking in front of a two-story house with pale yellow walls and white shutters. Before it was a small, well-tended yard surrounded with white picket fences, very much like the house you grew up in under the care of your grandfather. A small, plastic slide and swing set was placed on the grass along with a tiny bike and some toys in the sandbox.
“You okay?” he asked, interrupting your reverie. When you nodded, he said, “You’re not gonna cry, are you?” making you smack him on the arm. “Ow?”
“Serves you right.”
Just then, the door opened revealing this couple you assumed to be the Fushiguros. They looked good together, both with raven hair with their equally dark-haired little boy who looked about eighteen months old, all chubby cheeks and pudgy cuteness.
Toji was this big, hulking man with a vertical scar on the right side of his mouth which oddly added to his charm instead of marring his handsome face. He was carrying his little boy in his muscular arms, taking the edge off his tough looks. He was the first one to approach.
"Hi. Y/N, right?"
"Yes, hi." You shook his hand, smiling genuinely despite your previous notions regarding him and his wife who also stepped forward, taking your hands in hers. She was beautiful, too, and she gave you this feeling of coming home with her bright eyes and kind smile. You couldn’t blame Toji for falling for her, then again, Sukuna used to be in love with her, too.
"You're so pretty!" she said as a way of greeting. "I'm Mirai. It's nice to meet you."
Toji glanced at Sukuna, the gesture injected with meaning. "It's nice to finally meet you. Typically, he's quiet, but he won't shut up about you."
"Shut up," Sukuna muttered.
"It's nice to meet you both." You chuckled. "He isn't quiet around me either." Then your eyes shifted to their kid. You weren't exactly enamored with the idea of children, but you understood what Sukuna meant. "Hi, little angel," you couldn't help but say to the boy who was looking at you with wide, sparkly eyes framed with long lashes. "Your son is lovely."
"Thank you," Mirai returned happily, watching her son reaching for you. "Aww, Megumi likes you."
"Megumi," you repeated. "Blessing?"
"Yes," Toji said proudly and you gathered from his statement that he named the baby.
You looked towards Sukuna as if for assurance as you reached out. "May I hold him?"
"Sure." Toji handed Megumi to you and you followed after them as they led you and Sukuna into their home, marveling at how well-behaved he was, just leaning against your chest and sucking on his thumb, all warm and smelling like baby powder and everything that reminded you of happiness.
The two men went to the living room to catch up while you went to the kitchen with Mirai who was curiously asking you one thing after the other.
"Sukuna told us you're a student. What are you studying?" she asked as she stirred something in a pot.
"Comprehensive literature," you answered, untangling Megumi's hand from your hair.
"Are you sure you're okay carrying Megumi?" Mirai threw you a rueful smile.
You nodded, beaming warmly at the child. "I don't mind. He's so adorable."
Mirai smiled lovingly at her son. "Isn't he? I was so happy when I first had him and saw how much he looked like his dad."
"Yeah, he's like a mini version of Toji. He has your eyes though."
“Thank you.” She grinned. "So, how long have you known Sukuna?"
"Just almost half a year. Around that."
"Guy's whipped for you, Y/N."
"I heard that!" Sukuna called out from the living room. He suddenly entered the kitchen, plucking Megumi off your arms saying, "My turn. How's my favorite boy?"
You just snickered, your thoughts elsewhere. It got you wondering if you would even have met Sukuna if things didn't turn out the way they have. You were picturing Sukuna standing beside Mirai instead of Toji but you just couldn't and it got you contemplating that maybe things ended up the way they did because that's what's meant to be.
As opposed to your resentment to what they did to him, you were now glad, perhaps even thankful and more understanding of Sukuna's reasons for letting things go and remaining friends with them. Because if those things didn't happen, you won't have him. Because if they didn't turn out that way, you wouldn't be watching him being all silly and adorable with Megumi, giving you a picture of what kind of father he would be when he did have kids. Because then, you wouldn't be considering the possibility of a future with anyone…with him.
Then you froze as your feelings for him became clearer. Because why else would you be spending all your time with him, being close to him and getting to know him? Why were you so keen on making sure he was happy? Why were you hurting on his behalf? Why was the world suddenly a better place despite the fact that you're supposedly alone?
It was simple. You're in love with him.
"Y/N?" you heard his deep voice resonating from inside your head then louder as your vision began to focus. He was standing in front of you with Megumi in his arms.
"Huh?"
"You okay? You were spacing out."
"Just thinking." You bit your lower lip, looking apologetic.
"Getting lost in your own world again, I see?" he teased.
"Getting lost in yours is more like it."
He and Miriai looked at you at the same time, the latter giggling pretty much like Ieiri whenever you told her about Sukuna. "You two are so cute."
You brushed the comment off, approaching her. "How can I help?"
You set the table with Toji's help, listening to him talk about Megumi and Mirai with such profound fondness and pride. Just like Sukuna, his appearance was an irony to his funny and soft personality it was disconcerting.
"It's great to have guests over. We rarely do this but Sukuna comes here every Saturday, and well, he isn't a guest anymore," Mirai said as she fed Megumi.
"Thanks for having me then," you replied, still fixated on their kid who was babbling about with his mouth full while he repeatedly knocked a plastic spoon on his high chair.
The conversation was light, circling on their old days, but you knew they were trying to skirt around the ugly things. Mirai regaled you of how Toji got the scar on his mouth. Turns out he and Sukuna were street racers at some point. "Easy cash," as the former had put it. "I mean who wants a part time job if you earn thousands a night?"
"So, what do you plan to become after you graduate?" she asked you again.
"A writer, maybe?"
At that, Sukuna started telling them about your date at the fancy restaurant and how you pretty much nailed the story of the lone old woman who gave you wine. "She's amazing like that," he said fondly, absently patting you on your thigh.
"I'm sure Y/N here finds you impressive, too," Toji teased. "Right, Y/N?"
"Yeah, he smells awfully great it's making my thoughts incoherent," you sallied, "But jokes aside..." You let your voice trail off on purpose, gauging his reaction.
"What?" he prompted.
"That's for me to know," you finally stated, making the couple laugh.
"No fair!"
After lunch, you helped Mirai clean up. Megumi was asleep in his crib after his meal and the guys stood by the backdoor, enjoying some beer. You dried the plates quietly while she washed and told you about Toji.
"It's like raising two kids, really," she told you. "He doesn't pick up after himself and our Megumi is more considerate than he is."
"But you love him," you teased.
"With all that I am." Her eyes strayed to Sukuna then. "Cherish him. Don't let that one get away."
At her words, you felt the same hurt you did when you first learned what the real deal was with them from Maki. You blood boiled out of the blue as thoughts started racing in your head a hundred miles per second. How dare she say that to you when she herself let him go? How dare she hurt him like that and yet keep him as a friend?
The sound of something breaking brought you out of your trance, and you realized the plate you were wiping had fallen onto the floor. But your attention was on her, your steely eyes hard and intense as you said, "You're the last person I expect to be telling me such things."
"I..."
You stepped away from her only to be met by Sukuna's disappointed expression, but you ignored that as well as you turned away. "Excuse me,” you said, bowing slightly as you walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, grabbing your bag before walking out of the house.
The crisp autumn air blew coldly against you, ruffling your hair and your dress as you stood there, not really knowing where to go or what to do. Suddenly, you felt stupid for saying something like that to Mirai when she had been nothing but nice towards you, her and Toji. You also liked their son. And judging by how Sukuna looked at you, you had this niggling feeling that you've ruined it all, eating at you from the inside out.
Just then, the door opened and closed behind you. You didn't have to turn around to know it was Sukuna who followed you out. You've grown so accustomed to his presence that at times, he only had to look at you and you already understand what he wants to convey.
"Y/N, sweetheart, what's going on?" he asked, trying hard to keep the edge off his tone.
You didn't turn to face him, afraid of what you will see. "You heard what I said. Do I really have to explain?"
He walked around you, grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking you slightly. "I thought we're over this. I thought I already explained this to you."
That doesn't cut it, you thought but opted not to say it. He might have told you that he has forgiven and forgotten, and although you weren't involved in it, you still felt displeasure whenever you remembered it. It wasn't as if Mirai and Toji did you wrong, and it wasn't as if you had the right to say shit but she didn't have the right to tell you anything either knowing to herself what she had done. You didn't want to hear anything from her about what you ought to do and decide where Sukuna was concerned. It just didn't sit right with you.
"I know. I'm wrong. I get it," you snapped, shrugging his hands off you. "I wanna go home." You started walking away from him, but you stopped when he said, "What is wrong with you?"
You turned back, breath snagging as you let out a mirthless chuckle. "What is wrong with me?" you repeated, your voice coming out soft but with a bitter edge to it. "I know I am wrong for blurting out the things I did, and I am sorry."
"Y/N –"
"But don't strip me of my right to be angry when Mirai tells me to cherish you and not let you go as if she has any right to do it," you cut him off. "I didn't have the right to call her out on her transgressions to you, but don't tell me I can't cry or be mad at the fact that you had to go through all that because I care too damn much for you!"
Your eyes started to fill with tears as you regarded him, seeing the world come alive with blossoms dancing in the wind while in reality, the world was at its last legs, leaves falling all around you. Whenever you looked at him, you felt like everything was flourishing, filling your existence with beautiful things in an abundance of colors. "I'm so in love with you that I can't bear the thought of you getting hurt. I hate it when I know you're tired but you still smile for me anyway. I hate it when you look disappointed whenever I hesitate and couldn't make up my mind."
"I'm sorry for reacting the way I did. I was being a jerk, but that's how much I love you. I love you, Sukuna, more than I can possibly tell you. I can't pretend I don't."
"Say that again," he murmured.
"What?" you demanded gruffly, too caught up in your emotions to comprehend.
"You said you love me. Say it again." Now he looked like he was about to cry, eyes glistening even as he smiled wide with joy, drawing nearer and taking your hand in his.
You sighed in relief, feeling your chest loosen up. It felt great saying it out loud. Beyond just great. "I love you."
The moment you let go of the words, you were wrapped up in his warmth, his arms tight around you while you listened to the thundering beats of his heart. He held you at arm's length, looked deep into your eyes as he cupped your face and leaned in to claim your lips in a brief kiss. Spring has come in the middle of autumn, filling your senses and making you feel like you could fly. He held you in place, eyes closed as he touched his forehead to yours, letting out a shaky laugh.
"Do you mean that?" He opened his eyes slowly and you were lost in their depths as you nodded. "Yes."
"You haven't asked, but I happen to be just as in love with you if not more."
"I already knew that. How can I not when you show me every day? It's comforting to hear you say it out loud though." You smirked at him. "You know, when you don't think I'm asleep."
He stiffened against you. "You heard that?"
"God, it was so hard to keep my eyes closed and stop myself from reacting when you told me you're in love with me."
He clucked his tongue. "You waited this long to respond to me?"
"I told you I didn't wanna give it to you half-assed. I’m giving you my heart just as I want yours, and if you’re ready to entrust it wholly to me, I can’t just reciprocate with pieces of mine."
“You had it since the first day we met. I didn’t have to see everything else to know you’re the one who owns it.” Sukuna kissed you on the forehead, hugging you to him and just standing there with you, watching cars pass by the road, reveling in his proximity and his warmth. You didn’t need much of anything if you had him.
But then you broke out of his hold, realizing the mess you’ve made.
"What is it?"
"I have to apologize to our hosts. Stay here," you stated, walking back to the house to find the couple in the living room, standing there as if they were expecting you to come back. Without hesitation, you bowed before them. "I sincerely apologize for what I said. I should not have said that to you, Mirai. And it isn't my intention to indirectly hurt you, too, Toji. I'm sorry."
"What is this girl saying?" you heard Mirai say as she approached you and hugged you tight. "You silly girl. We deserve that and we don't deserve Sukuna. Everyone just gave us a free pass, and we were glad you were brave enough to say it to us like that. You have nothing to apologize for."
"Still..."
Toji shook his head. "No, Y/N. Thank you. For loving Sukuna and for giving us the chance to finally forgive ourselves, too."
At that, you smiled, nodding in understanding.
When it was time to leave, Megumi woke up and you had the chance to say goodbye to him, too, holding onto him until you had to get out the door.
"Visit us anytime, Y/N," Mirai said, winking. "Sukuna doesn't have to be with you."
"So, you're throwing me away cause you have Y/N now? Some friends you are," he sniped, causing another round of easy laughter.
"I'll come by soon," you promised, pecking Megumi on the cheek. "See you, angel."
***
"So, you're officially together now?" Suguru asked, helping you pack for the trip to the mountains Sukuna had planned, scheduled immediately after his return.
"Two weeks ago, but he had to go to London," you said, and in the next second, Ieiri and Satoru both brought out their wallets, handing bills to Suguru.
"I knew there was something different when he drove you home that afternoon."
"I can't believe you three are betting over my relationship with Sukuna," you muttered, zipping up your small luggage.
Suguru won fair and square though. He had been right to ask from the start when he walked in on you and Sukuna making out on the porch when the latter dropped you off. The drive then was quiet but you had the shut the guy up for teasing you about that "one hell of a confession," as he had put it. But he immediately took control, shoving you against the wall beside the door and kissing you stupid.
"What did I say about raising her on my own?" Suguru gloated, slinging an arm over your shoulder much to the annoyance of your supposed two other parents.
Satoru scoffed. "I was the one who did the hardest job of interrogating him the first time he came and brought our little girl dead drunk!"
"Yeah, he said you're intimidating," you told him, chuckling, and he positively glowed until you said, "But he said you apologized afterwards so..."
Suguru and Ieiri laughed hard at him.
"On a more serious note, Sukuna isn't gonna be as lucky the moment you get hurt, Y/N," Satoru stated calmly and the other two nodded in agreement. "Just putting it out there."
You would do the same for them, too, so you also agreed. "And if I'm the one causing him shit?"
"That's on him, too," Suguru said, ruffling your hair. "You're our princess, Y/N. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong when the time comes. You'll probably get an earful from us, too, cause we like the guy, but you will always have us first."
You clucked you tongue. "You're all being dramatic, but thanks. Much appreciated."
"It's the first time you're going steady with anyone. We're just making sure we've covered all the bases," Ieiri stated.
"Yeah, and before we forget..." Satoru took something out from under your bed, handing it to you.
You eagerly looked into the bag, thinking it was a present but you wanted to throw it at his face the moment you found out what it was.
"I got the bigger sizes cause Sukuna looks loaded in that department. Special edition, ultra-thin in – wait for it – mixed berry flavor." He winked. "Wrap it before you tap it."
"Ha ha, Satoru. You're really funny." You motioned to hit him, but laughed with him nonetheless as you rummaged through the bag. "Where the hell did you even get these?"
"Ordered them in from Amsterdam. You're welcome, princess."
"You're fucking weird for handing me rubbers, but thanks, dad." You handed the bag back to him. "You're giving them to Sukuna yourself though."
"Fine!"
And that he did when Sukuna arrived to come pick you up, strictly telling the man to open it in private much to the latter's confusion. Still, he accepted graciously.
"Don't open that thing," you said the moment you were in his car.
"That makes me want to open it now," he said.
You clucked you tongue, and shook your head. "Do that when I'm not looking." You tilted your head to have a better look at him, reaching over to make him face you. You frowned at the dark circles under his eyes. "What have you been doing in London?"
"Not sleeping enough is one of them, and I'm jetlagged." He took your hand in his and started planting butterfly kisses on your fingers. "I missed you."
"I missed you, too." You cupped the side of his face and leaned over, pecking him on the lips. "You're going to sleep the moment we get to our destination."
"But –"
"No buts." You took the key off the ignition. "And I'm driving." You got out of the car, rounding it to the driver's side, opening the door. "Scoot."
Sukuna grinned at you. "Is being bossed around what it entails to be your boyfriend, sweetheart?" he asked, swinging his legs towards the door.
You moved closer, standing between his legs. "And if I say yes? Do you want out?" you asked, flashing him a sultry smile as you drew closer to him, your breaths mingling.
"I can't say I don't like it." He kissed you, deeper than the peck you gave him earlier.
"It's safer if I drive," you spoke against his lips. "Move."
"Just this once," he acceded, moving towards the passenger side while you climbed behind the wheel, gunning the car out of the property. But opposite to his words, he was asleep not an hour into the drive.
You never really realized how long two weeks could be until you had to wait for Sukuna to come back safe and sound. Though your time had been occupied by your studies and every other thing you did, you were always distracted by your phone, waiting for his messages and calls that you had to find yet another distraction in the form of a new video game you've gotten over the mail just two days after he left. But that was just momentary as you finished it in three days of continual gaming. You even went to visit the Fushiguros the weekend prior much to Mirai's delight just to have a semblance of familiarity where Sukuna was involved but it just made you miss him more.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, indeed. You could just laugh at yourself over the past days, thinking yourself selfish at the thought of not wanting him to go anywhere you couldn't easily reach him. But now that he was back, you are back to normal, and you knew you have to come to terms with accepting that it is a part of his job to be away from you every now and then if things are going to work out for the two of you.
You're whipped, and you know it. You've accepted that. Now, it's just a matter of not allowing yourself to become too dependent on his presence.
Sukuna woke up when you stopped for gas three hours later. Why he had to choose such a far off place to bring you to was beyond you, but you weren't complaining in that you'd go wherever he was, but it was more for the fact that he came straight out of the airport and yet he was traveling again and by car, too.
"You okay?" he asked while you munched on gummy bears, standing against the Jeep as you filled it with gas. "We can switch."
"I go on farther road trips with the boys and Ieiri every time we have the chance. Stop worrying about me."
He whined sleepily, his voice coming out thick, trapping you against the car with his body. "You're crabby today. It doesn't feel like you miss me."
"Oi, I had to order a new game just so I won't send stupid texts telling you to come back home. How dare you doubt that?"
He burst out laughing. "So you were nerding out while I was away?"
"Pretty much. Don't run away when one day, you walk into my room and find a monster holding onto my controller in the middle of pizza boxes and a whole lot of other mess. That's me needing to be brought out of my hole."
"Hey, don't do that when I go away for business trips." He looked seriously worried now. "You should do your normal routine."
"So don't say I didn't miss you because I was nearly that monster nerd I was telling you about." You popped a green gummy bear into his mouth. "And I'm still driving."
The drive continued for another two hours with you reaching the foot of the mountain at the side of the highway where you really had to switch with Sukuna since you didn't know the way.
"You didn't bring me here to murder me, did you?" you quipped, seeing how thick the forest was on the one-lane road going up the mountain. It was such green world that you almost wanted the feeling of being lost
"Probably. You're too bossy today."
"Hey, that's me being nice."
"I won't. I have other things in mind to do with you." He grinned mischievously at you, winking to which you just shook your head.
Soon enough, you reached a small, traditional village which was pretty much turned into a hot spring resort. Sukuna stopped at the largest building in the vicinity, telling you to wait in the car as he disembarked, returning very shortly later with a key dangling on his thumb. The drive continued for another twenty minutes until he parked in front of this old-style house which didn't look old at all, located at a much more secluded area of the resort. He handed you the key, telling you to go ahead while he unloads your stuff.
Yup. There was nothing old about the facilities at all with the south-facing side made entirely of glass that looked over the private hot spring and a view of the mountains beyond that. The kitchen was as modern as it could get, and judging by how Sukuna was carrying bag after bag of things into the fridge, he planned to cook during your entire stay there. You took over the job while he carried your luggage into the house. Poor thing did the shopping before coming to pick you up without telling you.
"Go shower and sleep. I can handle it from here," you told him when he entered the kitchen again, muscular arms crossed over his wide chest, eyeing you appreciatively.
Instead of doing as he was told, he came up to you, standing behind you, hands fastening onto your waist as he drew your hair to one side. He nuzzled your neck, slowly making his way up your jawline where he pressed his lips and lingered there for a bit. You smiled, reaching up with your hand to place it on his cheek.
"You need to rest, my love."
"Say that again," he whispered.
"You need to rest?" You teased, feeling him nip at your ear. "My love?"
"You keep annoying me today."
"You keep commenting about how I'm behaving today," you countered, facing him. "Come on, let me boss you around for now. You really need to get some shuteye."
"You'll let me boss you around later then?"
"Deal."
***
"Back already?"
You looked over your shoulder as you combed through your hair when you heard the sliding door open. A smile graced your lips seeing as how Sukuna looked better, more well-rested and more like himself after a long sleep, only coming to at nightfall. He took a dip in the hot spring after dinner and was returning from it.
He came in wearing that dark blue yukata provided by the resort, feeling your face grow hot when you realized you were ogling him yet again. How can you not when the garment hung loosely over his shoulder. He didn't bother tying it properly, and from the partition of the robe, you can see the broad expanse of his chest, the smattering of inked patterns following the sinews of his form.
It wasn't the first time you were seeing his tattoos, the artistic floral and tribal patterns making themselves known to you that day you woke up to him naked from the waist up. However, you did not realize they expanded all the way down the right side of his body, all the way down to the outer area of his thighs. Since he was just wearing a pair of boxers underneath the yukata, when he stepped forward, you were able to see it, and as curiosity won over you, you didn't look away even when he raised a brow at you, the ghost of amusement playing at the corners of his mouth.
You stood up, walking slowly towards him, stopping when you were less than a foot away. Your eyes shifted hesitantly between his face and that area of his anatomy silently asking for his permission to see more of it but your hands refused to move midway.
"What is it?" he asked, not exactly sure as to what you were trying to do.
Biting your lower lip. "M-may I..." You couldn't say it out loud so you pointed at his tattoos, feeling a lump forming on your throat when you realized how bold you were being.
"You don't have to ask," Sukuna whispered, taking your hand and placing it on his chest, warm and alive underneath your palm, while he drew his robe apart, eyes intent on you as you followed the expanse of skin that served as a canvass to the artfully-made representation of the four seasons in a single branch of a cherry blossom tree, meandering downwards. From his chest going down the length of his side, your hand traced over the colored patterns of smaller branches that progressed from summer to winter. Your fingers lingered over his iliac crest where new buds of the familiar pink blossoms that promised spring were immortalized on his skin.
Sukuna's breathing had deepened the moment your hand reached lower, and you relished the fact that you had that effect on him, too. You could feel heat behind your eyes as your blood rushed up to your head at the realization that you could do that to him, and even greater than that, the reality of just how much you wanted this man in front of you, how much you wanted to make him yours in every sense of the word and how much you wanted to be his and his alone.
In the dim light of the moon that was filtered by the mist rising from the springs through the open sliding doors, you looked up at Sukuna, the man you love with every single fiber of your being, leaning your head on his chest, listening to his beating heart that mirrored the thrumming in your chest.
You brushed your lips onto his bare skin, trailing kisses across his chest before looking up at him and letting yourself be devoured by those deep, hooded eyes as you stepped even closer.
"You're beautiful," you breathed out, pulling him down towards you, tears pooling in your eyes when he finally kissed you, taking your breath away.
Sukuna's large hands roamed your body as he continued to mold your mouth against his, his tongue pushing between your lips which you welcomed with your own, loving his taste, hot and wet and stirring you alive. His hands were warm and nimble as he kneaded the flesh of your hip through the fabric of your kimono, traveling lower to where the garment parted so he can slide his hand underneath. They made their way to your ass, squeezing hard before he slid lower, hooking both of his hands under your thighs. He lifted you up, urgently maneuvering your legs to wrap around his waist.
Neither of you came up for air even as he walked deeper into the room where the bed was, pawing and hungrily devouring each other, what began as a gentle kiss turning into a scorching show of dominance as you both took from each other, not quite getting enough.
"I love you," he rasped, breathless as he nipped at the shell of your ear. "I want all of you."
He then continued kissing you, seizing you at the back of your neck, roughly nibbling on your lips then progressing towards the columns of your throat, spreading the V that formed the collar of your robe. You ran your fingers through his hair, intoxicated by his scent, your toes curling as his hands travelled to outline the sides of your body possessively.
Sukuna then returned to your lips after leaving open-mouthed kisses all over your chest and collar bones, and you kissed him back just as fervently as he pressed you down against his clothed crotch, making you shiver as you felt stirrings at the pit of your stomach. You gasped at the feeling of him poking against your thigh but before you could recover, he entered his hot tongue into your mouth again, gently luring yours to mingle with his. You just let him have his way, not quite believing what was happening as you felt your skin bursting into flames wherever he touched you.
Sukuna lifted you slightly off the bed, putting you down so that you were facing away from him. From behind, he guided you towards the pillows and snaked his hands around your waist, reaching for the sash of your robe and tugging on it. When he was successful, he tossed it somewhere on the floor and reached over your shoulders, slowly feeling for the lapels of the robe, making sure his fingers brushed against your skin, sending jolts of electricity all over your body as he peeled the garment off you in deliberate and calculated slowness, coupled with his mouth following the train down your nape to your shoulders before he pushed you face down on the bed.
"Oh god," you whispered, fighting for air as he gathered your hair to your left shoulder and licked the shell of your ear. "What are you thinking about? You're too stiff. Relax," he said in that deep, sensual voice that turned your legs to jelly.
You grabbed onto the pillow, anticipating what he was gonna do next when you felt his febrile tongue making a trail on your right shoulder, the action morphing into sloppy, wet kisses going down your bare back until you could not feel your robe anywhere near your body anymore. He has already undressed you.
You were on edge and just hyper aware of everything he was doing and every single touch he left on your body made you feel like it was leaving a mark and being absorbed by every cell in your system. It felt good being this close to him, being touched by him and you wouldn’t really mind if he marked you everywhere. You wanted to be his and you wanted the world to know.
His hands travelled everywhere it could touch, pushing you to the edge and making you feel like you were burning slowly, the kind that made every corner of your body tingle with anticipation. What you didn't realize was how tight you were holding the pillow to yourself until he suddenly mentioned it.
"Y/N?"
"Hmm?" Your voice came out at a higher pitch, making you want to smack yourself. This was that you wanted and yet you were being all jittery.
He chuckled softly, stopping his ministrations. "What are you doing?"
At that, you pushed yourself off the bed a bit and turned your head sideways to meet his gaze from over your shoulder. “Sorry, I’m just…”
“Yes?”
“Overwhelmed,” you whispered, chuckling slightly. While it wasn’t your first time, everything felt new with the added sensations that your deep emotions for him were throwing into the mix. “How do you want me?”
He turned you over on your back, chuckling. "For starters, cut out the pillow hugging." He pried the thing off your arms and chucked it against the headboard. Sukuna then hovered over you, pinning your hands on either side of your head then began his assault on your neck going lower and lower until he reached your left breast and started licking and tugging on your nipple, his other hand busy kneading the other.
“You are beautiful,” he said, mouth moving against the swell of your flesh while his other hand took possession of the other hand, tentatively squeezing with his long fingers.
You let out a moan, craving for more but not certain whether you could take it or not with your heart feeling like it was going to burst out of your chest. You wanted him to touch you more and as if he read your mind, he returned to kissing you intensely until you thought you couldn't breathe, well aware of how his other hand was taking off your panties. Your heart was beating erratically in your chest as you anticipated the moment, but halfway down your thighs, he raised himself a bit and laid himself on top of you, burying his face into your hair.
“Are you sure you want this?” he asked cautiously as he raised himself slightly, looking into the depths of your eyes as if he was looking right through you.
Cupping his face, you rose slightly on your elbows, pressing your lips at the corner of his mouth. "A hundred times yes. I'm yours," you said with all the conviction you could muster in your hazy state – love drunk, kiss drunk, Sukuna drunk.
At your response, he latched his lips onto the skin of your neck, kissing lower and lower, passing over your breasts where he lingered, biting and sucking gently. You hissed as you watched him progress downward, his mouth doing all the magic from the valley of your chest down to your stomach, his hand reaching for the garment he had taken off you halfway down your legs, discarding it. The rough pads of his hands brushed over your thighs, pushing them apart as he lowered himself between them.
You let out a sharp cry when he licked a long stripe on your nether lips, his hot tongue swirling over your sensitive nub. He hummed in approval upon tasting you while he teased your folds with two of his digits. Without a warning he simultaneously pushed his fingers into you and sucked on your clit, building a rhythm that had you seeing stars with every thrust, coaxing out whimpers from your slightly parted lips. Your hips bucked towards him when you felt him reaching deep enough to touch your sweet spot again and again.
Sukuna anchored his arms around your thighs, his elbows on the mattress as he held you steady, continuing to lap at you and move his digits inside you as you felt that familiar sensation of coming undone, guiding you through it until you released so hard your juices squirted out despite his fingers still inserted in you, making a right mess of his mouth, chin and hand.
You spasmed against him but he didn't let go, continuing with his ministrations. He removed his fingers from inside you and started eating you out like a starved man, catching all of your essence from your initial orgasm and cajoling you into another one as he shoved his tongue right into you.
Your hand reached down, fingers tangling with his cherry blossom locks, not knowing whether you want to push him or keep him right where he was. He moaned as he felt your walls clenching, the vibrations caused by his voice stimulating you further, and in no time, you were releasing into his mouth again, your high hitting you like a speeding truck, slamming onto you and leaving you a shaking mess.
Your chest heaved up and down as you tried to calm down, chuckling in between each intake of breath when you felt Sukuna planting ephemeral kisses on your feverish skin, working his way up this time, worshipping your body before catching your lips in his where you tasted yourself on him.
"Can I eat you forever?" he asked with a groan. "You taste exquisite, my love."
"Alright," you panted, "But before that..." You looked him in the eye, running your hand down his chiseled abs until you reached the band of his boxers, excitement filling you as you palmed his crotch over the fabric. You snickered when his whole body seized on top of you, but you were just as out of breath feeling how massive and warm he was against your palm. You bit your lip as your hand moved, rubbing him slowly. Sukuna's eyes drooped a little as he drank in the clouded look in your eyes.
Satoru wasn't wrong about the condoms, and it further got proven to you when you pushed Sukuna’s underwear down and he rose up to his knees, finishing the job. You swore your eyes were going to pop out of their sockets when his length was released from its restraints, slapping against his stomach, thick, long and standing proud, its pink tip leaking precum that dripped down, following a prominent vein on its underside. You never wanted to put anything in your mouth as much as you wanted his dick, but the idea of it stretching you and ripping you apart from between your legs was more intriguing.
Sukuna smirked down at you. "Like what you see, sweetheart?"
"That's an understatement." You swallowed hard, taking you herculean effort to look at his face instead. "I don't just wanna look at it though."
He reached over to the nightstand, taking out that familiar bag from Satoru, quickly rummaging through it. "I'd be insulted if that's all you wanna do." He said as he took out a packet, about to rip it but you shook your head, taking it away from him.
He arched a brow at you. "You don't...Are you –"
"Stop asking me if I'm sure. I'm certain as I'll ever be." You smiled at him. "Or maybe I'll change my mind if you keep asking."
Laughing, he bent down, positioning himself between your legs as he took possession of your lips once more. You took a deep breath when you felt his tip nudging between your folds, teasing you while he busied himself with tracing the topography of your body as if committing it to memory.
Watching him now, you wished you've met him earlier in your life, loved him longer than you have at present. If you knew someone like Sukuna would come to care for you as much as he does, even in acts that are mostly governed by sheer instinct and senses, driven by need and lust, you would have combed the earth to find him. He cares so damn much for you that you knew he will find it in him to stop if you just said so even at his own expense.
"Sukuna..." his name spilled from your mouth, wanting him all for yourself, body, heart and soul. "Baby, please..." You were pleading, but for what, you didn't know exactly.
"Yes, my love?" he questioned, a smug grin playing at the corners of his mouth as he watched the mess that you are beneath him. "Tell me what you want."
"You," you whimpered, raising your hip to meet his cock, hard and burning on your skin. "I want you," you breathed out, the delicious torture in your voice coming to a crescendo when he thrust in agonizingly slow, making your wish his command.
He stretched you, gradually, gently as if he was afraid to break you, but your breath hitched for a different reason entirely. His girth left a slight burn as he pushed in, the rapturous feel of him invading your space and being wrapped in your flesh making a heated mess out of you as you grabbed everything you can get a grip on – the sheets, his shoulders, the pillow nearest to you – trying to anchor yourself from the sudden high of knowing he was inside you.
Your eyes watered at the sheer thought of being connected to him so deeply, and you found yourself falling to blissful surrender when he finally bottomed out. You felt him twitch inside you, but instead of moving as he wished, he cupped your face, delicately brushing his fingers over your flushed cheeks. He had that look of disquiet as he examined your expressions.
"You okay?"
You nodded, beaming in your state of stupor. "Please…move."
Sukuna begins to do as he was told, sliding in and out and acquainting you to his rhythm, his intense eyes hooded yet intense as he regarded you, aware of every nuance of your expressions with every single thrust. He started picking up the pace when he felt you wrap your legs around him, hitting you deeper every single time.
Pleasurable groans elicited from Sukuna's lips as he held himself up, driving his hips against yours repeatedly. "You're so tight," he rasped, his snagged breaths hot on your ears. "You feel so good."
"So good," you repeated, completely going out of it when the mere brushing of his rod against your walls drove you over the edge. You clenched tight around him and he let out a groan, eyes rounding when he realized you were close.
"Let go, baby. Cum for me," he said between pants as he pounded onto you unrelentingly.
You spoke broken syllables of his name as you came around him, riding you through your high. Acid white flashes started to flash behind your eyelids, your back arching from the bed as you keened loudly, too enraptured and absorbed in the pleasure that he was giving you.
However, before you could even recover, Sukuna lifted you off the bed, holding you against him so that your breast were rubbing against his taut chest. You wrapped your arms around him, gripping onto his shoulders while you sat astride him on your knees.
"You'll give me one more, won't you, my love?" he said, thrusting up to you whilst he gripped your waist so tight you knew you will have bruises after, making you meet every single push of his thick length.
Both your moans filled the room along with skin hitting skin, the friction between you two kept at bay by the sheen of sweat that covered your bodies. He held onto the back of your neck, roughly kissing you, your tongues dancing the lovers' minuet. Your lungs begged for air, but you were reluctant to be released from Sukuna's wild kisses while he fucked you senseless.
"Fuck," he growled through gritted teeth. "I love you," he whispered repeatedly like a mantra.
You felt him getting harder inside you as he hastened his pace, ramming into you faster and stronger, and in no time, you were screaming out his name as you came undone again with him following shortly after you did, a deep groan falling out of his mouth in a dragged out note when he spilled his seed inside of you, making you feel even fuller, your walls throbbing around his softening length.
Spent, you both fell back on the welcoming softness of the mattress with him still inside you. He landed on top of you, catching his breath while he rested his head on the crook of your neck while you wrapped your arm around him, your fingers carding through his damp locks.
“You’re amazing, Y/N,” he purred in hushed tones once he caught your breath.
Your brows furrowed in perplexity. “I didn’t do anything.”
He shook his head, pulling out and rolling away, his eyes between your thighs, watching as your mixed juices dripped down on the sheets. “I’m not just talking about your body and how you felt. That in itself is amazing, but I’m referring to everything that you are.”
You felt heat creeping up your neck, all the way to your scalp. Abashed, you covered your face with your hands. “Don’t say things like that. You’re making me a shy mess. Geez.”
“Hey, look at me.” He clucked his tongue when you didn’t move, taking your hands off of your face. When you finally did as you were told, he said, “I mean it. Sometimes, I can’t believe you’re real.”
“I should be saying that. You’re so kind to me, and I feel how much you care for me every single time you say or do something. And I’m just selfish, really.”
“No, you’re not?”
“I am, Sukuna. I want you all to myself from that time you first kissed me, but I didn’t really do much to make that happen because I’m also a wimp, so thank you for going the extra mile for me.” You smiled slightly, feeling your eyes fill with tears.
“Stop saying that.”
“But it’s true. You’re always the one putting in the effort.”
“Because I want to.” He suddenly sat up, pulling you by the arm to lift you up when you gasped, feeling a sudden jolt of pain at the base of your back and the joints on your thighs at your sudden movement. “What’s wrong?” he asked, alarmed.
You raised a finger, moving on the mattress on your own while you held onto his arm for support. “Give me a moment.”
Sukuna regarded you with wide eyes. “Did I hurt you?” He sat beside you, wrapping arm around your shoulder and soothingly rubbing your arm. “Are you aching anywhere?”
“A bit, but it’s the good kind.” You smirked at him. “You’re amazing,” you said, imitating his tone earlier when he said you’re beautiful, your eyes traveling to his crotch. “You wrecked me, my love.”
He didn’t know whether to laugh or be upset. “You say the most outrageous things and it doesn’t help that you don’t hold back either.”
“Too shocking?” you offered.
“Scandalous!” he quipped, chuckling and you joined in on the laughter, the merry sound breaking through the stillness. “Can I carry you now?”
“Sure.” You lifted your arms, latching onto his neck, letting him take you to the bathroom.
“Let’s wash up and take a dip.”
You nodded and let him have his way around you, standing on the shower stall with him as he did everything while you just held onto him, your legs still wobbly. He kissed you on the cheek, the action soft and delicate, filling you with happiness. You can’t believe he is real.
“I’m sorry if I hurt you,” he spoke against your skin.
You pulled away from him, placing your hand on either side of his face, and with a triumphant smile, you said, “I’m not. Never will be.”
“I love you.”
“I love you more. Don’t argue.” You pecked him on the lips.
Sukuna beamed at you toothily. “Alright, sweetheart.”
He carried you out of the bath and out of the sliding doors that led to the hot spring, setting you down into the water carefully as if you’d break if he didn’t take caution. The hot water felt glorious on your skin, immediately melting the knots of your muscles as you sat between his legs, both of you submerged chest-deep.
“Damn, that feels good,” you sighed, mollified as you leaned against Sukuna’s broad chest, closing your eyes in bliss. “I can stay here forever.”
“Are you talking about the hot spring?”
“Yes and no,” you said without hesitation. “The water feels nice, but it wouldn’t be complete without you holding me.”
“You’re being sweet now after bossing me around earlier?” He wrapped his arms around you, placing his chin on your shoulder. “We can always come here when we both have free time. And I’ll always hold you like this.”
“I like that.”
“I love you,” he mumbled, nuzzling on the spot below your ear and breathing in deeply. “You smell divine.”
“I know. I smell like you.”
“Thank heavens then cause that’s what seemed to lure you to me,” he kidded.
You just smiled, reaching blindly to place your palm on his cheek, trying to get a semblance of reality although it was already staring you in the face, the emotions and sensations he has making you feel very much real, but you seem to be in a dream state, unable to come to terms with the fact that spring has finally come for you in the person of the man whose arms held you tight and close to his heart.
“Sukuna…”
“Yes, my love?”
“Thanks for existing."
-THE END-
So, I made Megumi's mom's name here "Miriai." I made her an OC because I can't just keep referring to her as "she/her." It's quite confusing. I hope this doesn't bother anyone. I cringed, too, trust me.
Okay, Toji is also OOC here. Haha! I went all the way with conjuring these characteristics and since Sukuna, my love, is super soft here (he has cherry blossom tats XD), why not Toji, too?
Anyway, I would like to say thank you to everyone who read this fic! Stay tuned for more. Love you guys :)
Additional notes are available in the masterlist, particularly on the reasons why I wrote some things the way I did.
Thank you so much for reading. Likes, comments and reblogs are deeply appreciated! Hope you enjoyed it.

Q&A
This is a Q&A that was done on ao3 and wattpad after chapter three, part four (IV | III)
If you send me asks with questions I will ofc answer them ! (Without spoiling lol)
Ok ok
Let me get a few things straight.
In this story, reader is a victim, clearly, a real victim.
Also she's clearly being groomed lol she's 18, yes it's legal but she's still super young. And the vampires are old. That's weird.
This is a fanfiction. If this happened irl, ngl I would be pretty disturbed. Everything here written here is not real, nor am I really trying to make it realistic.
I haven't had any complaints or anything. I just wanted to address it.
Depending on your morals, you will either consider the ending a happy one, or a disappointing one. AH BUT NO SPOILS
I love this story and honestly I'm just pouring all my fantasies in this book LOL there's no holding back
Also the reader won't be a super strong bad bitch... at least not now... and not in the way you except it. I'm asking you guys to have compassion for her, she's going through a lot ahah 😭
That's all ^^
Now onto the Q&A
I just mixed the questions I got on WP and ao3
I feel like this is useless of me to say but I'll still say it: no characters including you will remember this interview. For the sake of the story.
FATHER FUSHIGURO
@/trxnchcoat_
Is he like the alpha vampire in the town? And how could he touched the silver knife??
Father Fushiguro is sat comfortably resting his head on his palm. He starts fidgeting with a silver knife with his other hand, he looks at you, "I can touch silver. Just like you could touch fire, if you wanted to." He smirks lazily as he lets the silver knife fall down with a thud on the floor, "That doesn't mean that I'm immune to it." He lifts his hand, and you notice burn marks all over his skin where it touched the metal. You can't believe he didn't do so much as flinch.
@/ShiggysLilPogChamp
For Father Fushiguro, Does he actually love and care about the reader or he just the obsessive possessive type where he has to have you first and likes the thought of owning you?
Father Fushiguro lifts an eyebrow, "Naturally I care about you." He scoffs, "Otherwise I wouldn't have done so much... You're so clueless." He tilts his head to the side, "As for owning you... you've been mine since the day you were born. I already had you."
@/eyesnskies
Is he like the founder of them vampires along with Gojo, Nanami & Geto?
The four vampires snort.
"Don't be ridiculous." Nanami says, unable to hide the smile forming on his lips. "We're simply outlaws. Outlaw vampires."
SUGURU
@/trxnchcoat_
Does he have some kind of pet kink or..? 😌
Suguru sits himself comfortably in his seat. "Is this the kind of question everyone gets ?" He snorts, "Do I have a pet kink ?" He thinks aloud, "No. For me, humans are beneath us, at the same level as animals. Calling a human what it is has nothing to do with a kink. You're my pet that's all." He reasons, "For as long as you're human."
NANAMI
@/Mit1449
When y/n can see Nanami san.. is he gonna be good man or bad man. Or.. Both of it.
Nanami smiles but it doesn't meet his eyes, "I'm a good boy."
@/Interstella_Queen
Omg I wanna see Nanami so bad 👀👀👀👀👀
"Soon darling, soon." His smile grows. "It's not because you don't see me that I'm not here."
Lídia Albano
Nanami... where are you????👀👀
"Close enough."
@/Slimesam
Also Nanami, just where are you and he barely in the scene lol.
"I've been rather busy. I'm always busy cleaning behind father's mess." He lets out a loud exhale.
labebecitabebelean
WHERES NANAMI, WE WANT HIM HERE 💥💥💳💥💥💳
"I didn't know you wanted to see me so badly." He pauses, "... maybe you should check under your bed at night."
Momo_Nanami
First of all, my English is bad (I am using a translator so I apologize if something cannot be understood)
second, I love your writing very much even though the translator sometimes fails it is incredibly enjoyable, I am sure it transmits to me everything you want to express
Third point, I started reading this fic because Nanami was on tag🥺 I was a little disappointed to see that he is a tertiary character, (even so I stayed for the story and how heady it became for me) so my question goes more or less out there, Kento will be relevant at some point?
I wish you a nice week ~🌸🤝
I will be looking forward to another chapter, you are incredible.🛐🛐🛐
PS: since I started reading this fic, things about toji appear everywhere, it is as if his essence stayed with me, he is no longer a nobody in my eyes after reading this story🥶🥶
Thank you so much <3 and reading with a translator must be a mess ahah I appreciate your support very much. I'm happy you decided to stay even though we didn't see much of Nanami x') and I'm super happy that Toji isn't a nobody to you anyway because... listen... the effect this man has on me. It's unreal.
It kind of feels like I've been scamming you since we've barely seen Nanami :0 but *wink* he'll be there in the next chapter *wink*
(I answered this question before writing the chapter—so you've already seen Nanami now ahah)
EDIT: no you have not. I am an idiot. I meant the next chapter
/spoilers/
Nanami is very important. I don't want to spoil too much but I think he'll be the one to give you (reader) a sense of stability and security—since Father Fushiguro is crazy & Satoru as well as Suguru just do whatever they want.
Your relationship will probably evolve the fastest (doesn't mean the relationship with the other characters will be nonexistent, not at all). At least that's what I have in mind for now. Might change, not sure.
I will do my very best not to disappoint you !
AUTHOR
@/Mit1499
Can i give you a hug author-san. This story make enjoy uwu. Love it
/hugs/
Thank you ! I really appreciate it <3
@/Tojis_Cumslut
HOW DID YOU GET SO GOOD AT WRITING
Thank you <33 I'm still a bit insecure about my writing because English isn't my mother's tongue :/
I've been writing fan fictions for quite some time ! And I think every single one of them is bad. Now I quite like this one, but maybe in the future when I'll go over it again I'll be like "eww, my writing used to be so bad" it always happens Ahah.
@/Aaliah_exo
Are we near the end of the story? :o or will there be more? At this point, the peotagonist shouldn't trust anyone in that village 😩😭 idk about Nobara, she did warn the peotagonist about the village, the people and such. I have trust issues man 😭
We are not near the end of the story. Not at all. There's still so much to happen ^^ were maybe at the third of it ??? Don't take my word for it I'm horrible at planning.
NOBARA
@/swimpinghard
Nobaras old friend that used to live in Y/Ns house... were they human?
Nobara looks away, "Well yes, she was human."
@/trxnchcoat_
Is she alright? Like, will we be meeting her again in the future? :(
Nobara grins, "I'm okay ! I've been scolded by Maki a lot these days though. I think she's just hungry." Her grin deflates, "Honestly. I hope we don't see each other again. I kinda miss you, but you should stay away."
@/eyesnskies
I wanna know if she's gonna help y/n or no😭
She looks at you sadly. "There's only so much I can do..."
READER'S MOTHER
@/-Tojis-Whore-
From the beggining I've been suspicious of her. I have my doubts about her. Things like did she plan all of this? Does she know what we are, or do we even know who we are? And lastly why can't they help us? Mom is sus af lol
Your mother smiles, "My, my. Suspicious of me ? I only have the best in mind for you, sweetheart. Mother knows best." She laughs lightly, "Could you be going through some kind of teenage crisis ?" She then looks at you straight in the eyes, you shiver, "Believe me or not, what I'm doing right now is to help you. I'm afraid I can't say more."
@/trxnchcoat_
She's sus, at first I thought that the parents had some kind of agreement with the vampires but now I ain't sure, is she also a vampire? But taken from how she tried to keep some distance away from y/n when she accidentally cut her finger, it made me think our girlie's the half turned one 😕
"You sure have a very creative mind." Your mother looks thoroughly amused.
@/Slimesam
Reader's mother have a lot of question first
Did she make a deal with toji group????
Is she the first prey of them?
How did she break the haze?
"I'm not a prey." She corrects you softly, "You'll learn in the future that your mother can do a lot of things."
Freeg
who actually is her dad and what does he know about vampires? what does the mum know, and is she involved with them? why are her parents on bad terms does it have to do with any vampire stuff or is to do with the daughter? Lastly, is their family members deaths anything vampire related?
Sorry for the dump but i'm quite curious to know/find out. thankyou for the great chapters and have a great day/night. :))
Your mother lets out a chuckle, "We are very much involved with the vampires. So are you, perhaps more than most humans." She side glances at her husband, "As for why we're on bad terms... I guess we simply have different views on certain things. It can't be helped." She shrugs. "My mother's and my sister's deaths were my fault." Hurt flashes in her eyes, "I am the only one to blame for it. I should've made up my mind faster, I should've acted faster..." it doesn't sound like she's talking to you anymore, her words having quieted down to a mumble.
OTHERS
@/Weebeech
Will Sukuna be in this story? I just realize that now. Sukuna still kind of an asshole but helps mc? Uhm... yes
As always, love this chapter <333
Sukuna laughs, "I will be there. But trust me, you don't want to see me."
sad
as vampires do they have parents and is megumi canonically related to toji in this? <3
Megumi sighs loudly, "Yes. Father Fushiguro is my blood father." He massages his temple. "Naturally vampires have parents. This world setting is a bit different from the usual vampire world settings, I think. The author will elaborate on that in future chapters. It's not that complicated. There's also a hierarchy as well as vampire 'families'—but really, they're just clans." He sighs once more, "You're so clueless."

Nyan XIV - What the hell?!
Tumblr media
Nyan Chapters List
Summary:You've been put in a strange situation... Why are they so close to some woman when they were about to explain something to you...

Ch. 6 - Just a Cold
You tried your best to forget what had happened. You blamed it on a cry of frustration instead of one of pleasure. Yes, that was it. Nothing crazy, end of story.
With the disruptions out of the way, you decided to finally sink into your bathwater further despite its cooling temperature.  Just as you drained the tub, dressed, and walked back down the hallway to your room, you found a nervous-looking Geto with his ear pressed to your door, giving a few light knocks. He was clearly dressed for bed, hair completely down.
"Suguru?" You chuckled in a weak voice as you stared at him slightly bent over. He shot up as soon as he saw you with your wet hair and pajamas. "What...are you doing?"
"Y/N!" He gave an awkward smile, chewing on his bottom lip. "Sorry, I was worried."
"Worried?" You held your soft smile as you moved past him to unlock your door, letting the door swing open as you listened to his reasoning.
"Well your voice...seemed strained. I thought maybe you needed help," he sounded just as nervous as he looked. "I thought you were...doing something else, but I wasn't sure toward the end there."
With that, after you had set your bathing supplies down on your dresser, you stiffened and the color drained from your face. You felt like your heart had just stopped in your chest. Not only did he hear...he knew.
"Oh, nope! Just finishing up my bath, thanks though!" You spoke quickly in an attempt to get him out of there. "Was that all you needed?"
"But you are sick, right?" He gave a bit of a suspicious look. "You certainly sound it. Do you need me to bring you anything?"
"Yeah, just gonna' take some Estacibu and head to bed," you nodded, again speaking quickly to speed up his leaving process.
His expression transitioned from suspicious to conniving. The smirk he held was intimidating and you held back the urge to slam the door on his face, the same face that popped into your mind the moment you climaxed.
"We're gonna' use that to our advantage," he nodded, "leave your door unlocked tonight." He then left you standing there, leaving behind just a wink. He sped walked down the hallway out of sight.
"Geto, what do you mean?!" You shouted after him. But he was too far gone to have heard you. "Leave my door unlocked?" You shook your head to yourself and went about your business in hopes that now you'd finally find some peace - locking your door against Geto's instructions.
Tumblr media
You were sitting in the dark, laptop screen open on your tummy as you lounged in bed to watch some of your favorite shows. Your eyelids had never felt so heavy, heavier than the ache in your bones. Despite your new fever, you snuggled as deeply as you could underneath your comforter thanks to the chills. You could feel the start of a sore throat each time you swallowed.  The stuffy nose was at 100% already, your nearby trash can littered with basket attempts of snotty tissues.
"You get sick fast," Gojo's singsong-y voice rang out through the darkness. Your body jolted with the sudden sound of his voice, nearly knocking your laptop off of your lap as you sat up. You were so close to shrieking, and glad that you didn't. "You look like a mess!"
"Gee...thanks," you grumbled before realizing he had ported into your locked room and you should be a bit more angry with him than just the present irritation. "Hey!" You shouted in an irritated tone.
"Hey!" He greeted back sarcastically. "Prince charming is here and I've brought soup!" He lifted a tray that he held in both of his hands as he spoke. You were happy he couldn't see your blush in the darkness.
You leaned over to turn on the small lamp that sat on your nightstand. His lanky six foot figure stood at the center of your bedroom with a stupid grin. The steam from the soup making the air smell absolutely delicious.
As you leaned back over from turning on the light and moved your laptop aside, he meandered to your bedside and sat on the edge of the mattress, just barely missing your legs. He placed the tray in front of you. It looked to be canned chicken noodle soup.
"So we've got the soup, there's some crackers, orange juice," he described and pointed to each of the objects on the tray before reaching into his pants. "And I brought some extra medicine," he added and pulled a small, used foil packet from his pocket.
"Wow...thank you," you smiled warmly and took a spoonful of soup as he placed the foil packet on the tray. "You've really made my night. Teaching me to bowl, bringing me food when I'm sick..."
"Don't thank me!" Gojo returned your warm smile. "Thank Suguru, all his ideas!" He winked from behind his lenses.
"Oh," there was a slight hint of disappointment in your voice. "Sure..." You suddenly felt as though all of the work you and Geto had put in was for naught. You wished Gojo was capable of taking a hint.
"Ya' know...you still look pretty when you're sick," he kept his slight grin as he stood up and grabbed your phone from the nightstand. "What's your passcode?" You stared at him blankly for a moment. "So I can put in my number," he added as if it were totally obvious.
You gave him your passcode, making a mental note to change it later, and let him type in his number.
"There," he placed it beside you, "now if you need anything else throughout the night, just give me a text." He winked once more and vanished as quickly as he appeared, leaving the hot tray of soup in front of you.
You ate your soup and tried your best not to be disappointed. You were just getting started...relationships take time, but your impatience outweighed any sort of logic.
Tumblr media
As the night continued on, you leaned over to grab another tissue only to find your box completely empty. No... you thought. You audibly sighed to yourself and laid back against your mattress. Wait a minute...yes!
You rolled over to your nightstand again and grabbed your phone, quickly texting Gojo to see if he was still up. No way in hell were you not going to take advantage of him doting on you all night.
"M'lady," Gojo suddenly appeared in your room again and gave a prince-like bow. "What can I do for you?"
"I'm surprised you were still up," you smiled and spoke softly.
"I was not," he corrected you with a smile of his own. With the dim light in your room, you could make out that his hair was messy and all over the place. The clothes he was in looked to be well worn. "But I am here for your every need, so commandeth Suguru." You flattened your expression toward your wingman's name but tried not to let it get to you.
"I...ran out of tissues," you responded sheepishly. "I wouldn't have waked you if I had known you were sleeping."
"Nonsense!" His voice boomed. "I shall traverse to the Donki and pick you up some Kleenexes!"
"Actually, I prefer Nepia..." you mumbled in an even smaller voice.
"I shall pick you up some Nepia tissues!" He corrected himself and suddenly disappeared.
It barely took him five minutes to reappear with the tissues in hand. With silly gestures, he opened the packaging and took out a tissue. He leaned forward much to your surprise and began wiping your nose for you. Your cheeks easily turned bright pink as he did so.
"Will you be requiring any more assistance tonight?" Gojo stood straight and tall with an arm behind his back, as if he were your butler.
You giggled and shook your head. "No, I'm good. I'll make sure to not bother you again. Sorry for waking you."
"Nonsense!" He shouted. You wanted badly to shush him, but you were getting too much of a kick out of his silly behavior. "I shall ne'er deny thine request or Lord Geto may kicketh mine ass."
"Goodnight, Satoru," you chuckled.
"Goodnight, princess," he teased and disappeared.
Tumblr media
Monday rolled around, just a few weeks left until graduation, and you were still sick. You slapped on a mask and made your way sleepily toward class. You didn't want to skip for one reason: it was the day your final sorcery projects would be assigned.
As you strolled into the classroom, you were startled to find several senior sorcerers standing at the front of the classroom. There were, of course, Geto and Gojo, but also Mei Mei, Iori, and Tsukumo, Higuruma, Zenin Jinichi, and Takaba. Yaga stood seriously at the podium as you and the rest of the third years arrived.
"Good morning!" His voice boomed as he kept his serious expression. "Today you'll be assigned a curse mission compatible with your current sorcery level. Each of you will be partnered with two professional sorcerers." Yaga continued on explaining the project as you kept your eyes trained on the strongest pair in front of you.
Then, the pairings were read off. As Yaga boomed each name throughout the classroom, you were on the edge of your seat for your assignment.
"Ijichi Kiyotaka. You will be with Zenin Jinichi and Fumihiko Takaba," you winced at that pairing, three completely different personality types. "Haibara Yu, you will be with Mei Mei and Iori Utahime. Nanami Kento, you are with Higuruma Hiromi and Tsukumo Yuki. Lastly, Y/N, you will be with Geto Suguru and Gojo Satoru."
You couldn't believe it. Something didn't seem right. You knew Nanami was a level higher than the rest of you. You figured it'd be him to be paired with the strongest based on level. Geto was staring at you, giving you some kind of knowing look.
"Yaga sensei," your quiet voice piped up from behind your mask. His aggressive gaze stared you down, causing you to grow even more nervous. "Are you sure I'm in the right group?"
"There were no mistakes, Y/N," he answered in his tense voice. You dared not ask for any more clarification.

Ch. 10 - Graduation
AN: A moment in here where SA is mentioned. It's just one sentence, but I just wanted to provide that TW. Other than that, it's good brother Gojo and the intro to the mini Geto arc. 😅
Graduation for Jujutsu High was always a small event made big by inviting the friends and families of the graduates as well as the underclassmen of both the Kyoto and Tokyo schools. Former graduates were also welcome to attend if they were interested. There were never more than five graduates at a time, your class only three. In order to stretch out the celebration, there would be the usual ceremony of receiving diplomas and then a small reception where the school paid for some fancy catering company to come out and make everyone dinner.
You had invited Kento to come weeks ago and continuously asked him until the day you last saw him. He gave the same answer each time of, "we'll see," which drove you insane. There was no reason for him to attend other than you. Naoya's presence also would complicate things. You had no idea what the outcome would be to his answer, knowing he wasn't sent out on a mission.
"You look beautiful, sweetheart," your mother leaned on the threshold of your bedroom and watched as you applied make-up. You wore one of your favorite dresses and a pair of ankle boots, perfect for the spring weather in Tokyo.
"Thanks," you grumbled while attempting to put on mascara, leaning into your mirror dresser to see the fine details.
"You getting all dolled up for your Naoya?" She continued prying, staring at you with dreamy eyes. "I remember how excited I was to marry your father." She sighed happily. She was the one who married into the Gojo family, quickly melting into their toxic ideals once Satoru was born. She was considered a prize, being able to produce the first child with both limitless and Six Eyes in four hundred years.
"Never in my life would I consider doing myself up for that asshole," you grumbled, pulling away and giving her a hostile look. Your mother was taken aback by your choice of words.
"Y/N," she started to scold, a slight gasp to her voice from how appalled she was at your behavior.
"What? Don't pretend like I'm not going to be raped after the ceremony on Saturday." You were dead serious. You already knew what Naoya was capable of. When he finally would have permission, you knew you were doomed. Good thing you had other plans one way or another.
"That's a despicable thing to say," she didn't know how to handle what you were saying, "I'll be speaking to your father about this."
"Why's it matter? I'm going to be married in three days. You're really going to ground me until then?" You rolled your eyes, no longer feeling threatened by your parents' authority. They probably felt helpless after Satoru went rogue and moved out.
"We're leaving in ten minutes," she grumbled, face a bit red from anger before, before leaving you alone.
You turned back to the mirror and finished getting ready.
Tumblr media
When you first arrived on campus, Kento was no where to be seen. You managed to find your brother, Shoko, and Kiyotaka just fine - almost clinging to them instead of hanging around your parents after the tense car ride.  Your friends could quickly notice that something was wrong though you dismissed them. Your quiet demeanor was unlike you, at least when you were around those you enjoyed. Your eyes were too busy darting through the medium-sized crowd of friends and family members. You were obviously looking for Kento, but your gaze found someone more unfortunate. His evil grin headed straight in your direction.
"Don't look so excited to see me," Naoya greeted, his twisted grin even more gnarly close-up. Shoko and Kiyotaka took his presence as a means for their exit, awkwardly spinning away on their heels.
"I'm not," you answered his sarcasm literally as your brother stared down at your fiancé, trying to keep a neutral facial expression despite his own distaste.
"Just think of it, Y/N," he came to your side and wrapped around your shoulder tight. He gave you a side eye as he looked down at your frame next to his. His grasp on you was chilling and you regretted not using your infinity to keep him off. "Just days from now we'll be happily married and you'll be living at the Zenin estate."
"Lovely," you gave sarcasm of your own, keeping your gaze straight-forward as others casually mingled around you - waiting for the ceremony to officially start.
"Trust me, I'm sure it's much better than that preppy mansion you grew up in," he chuckled, finally releasing you. "And...if you behave yourself, I'll let you sleep in my chamber on our first night." The arrangement that you knew of was that you would have your own bedroom, only to be called to his for...the deed. To Naoya, this type of thing was a treat.
"Goodie," you narrowed your vision, clearly irritated by his presence. Naoya wanted to punish you right there for your attitude, but knew better with Satoru standing next to you and watching carefully.
Tumblr media
After another few moments of mingling, the ceremony began and, as expected, was short. The ceremony itself was held outside considering the beautiful day, so the small crowd filed their way into the reception hall on campus - sitting at several round tables. There was no assigned seating so you were able to at least sit with Satoru, Shoko, and Kiyotaka. Naoya unfortunately also decided to have a seat next to you instead of with his clan's elders who happily kept their eye on the budding couple.
You gave one last, subtle attempt to see if you could spot Kento only to be disappointed.  You felt hot tears begin to form at the base of your eyes, but quickly stopped them when you realized how much trouble you'd be in for doing such a thing in Naoya's presence.
The entire time you kept your eye on the large double doors as if he'd walk in at any moment, barely touching your food while your friends tried to have a somewhat civil conversation with Naoya and his "big" personality. As the hours passed by, you slowly realized what Kento had decided. The most painful part of it was that the last time you saw him was that week and a half ago when you decided to proclaim your love for him - and stand like a stone, firm in your decision instead of taking it back. You were hoping his lack of response was a fluke, even trying to ignore his distant behavior, but it was clear that he was...done.
Toward the night's end, as folks began to leave, you could no longer put up the façade - excusing yourself to the restroom and exiting into a narrow hallway to where they were. You hadn't noticed, but Satoru got up and began to follow you.
"Y/N," he stopped you just as your hand was on the handle. You were trying to hide your face after having allowed the tears to pour over as soon as you were away from the public eye.
"Leave me alone," you muttered, breathing hitching as if you were a small child trying to calm down after a tantrum. "I don't need an 'I told ya' so' right now."
"I'm not here to do that," he placed a gentle hand on your shoulder. "I've been here, too." You turned to face him, realizing he was talking about Suguru.
"He...he said he'd be here," you whined, wiping a tear away, emotions skewing Kento's actual answer of "we'll see."
To Satoru, your current state reminded him of when you were kids...how no matter how much he teased you, he was always there to help when you scraped your knee. He remained quiet and simply pulled you into a tight hug, allowing you to sob into his button-up.
"I know," he hushed as he pet your hair.
"What am I supposed to do?" You looked up at him. He allowed you to pull away, giving a concerned look to your question. "I...have my bags packed. I wasn't planning on staying..."
"That's smart," he sighed, giving a flat-lipped smile, "I would have done the same." He paused for a moment as you stared up at him with puppy-dog eyes. "But did you really think you could run away with Kento? You really think he's someone who'd do that?"
"I...guess not," your voice shook as you wiped away more tears.
"You can...come with me and Megumi," he offered, trying to perk up his tone. You shook your head.
"They'd still drag me out to marry Naoya. I need to...get far away." You tried to be as generic as possible, not wanting to share information Satoru couldn't know.
"Well..." Satoru tried to think, looking upward from behind his lenses, "the Kyoto admins are here. You could always see about going there."
"Y-yeah," you accepted, just wanting to change the subject at this point. You couldn't control your power, what could the school want with someone they couldn't use?
"Listen," he quickly began again, "whatever happens...you've got this. Me and you? We're the strongest, whether you can control yourself or not." You blushed and felt more tears coming on, this time out of not knowing how to accept Satoru's kindness. "Now, get in there, calm down a bit, and then come back out here and enjoy yourself. Fuck Nanami."
"Thanks..." you answered hesitantly, realizing that leaving tonight would mean also betraying your brother.
"Don't mention it," he smiled, "you're my little sister, I'm supposed to be there for you." He lightly punched your shoulder before walking back out to the main room.
Tumblr media
When you arrived home, you quickly shut yourself back in your bedroom to finish packing. Geto it is...you thought.  As you were packing, your phone began to vibrate loudly on your desk. You barely looked at the name on the front of the screen, seeing Kento's name light up. You debated picking up for a few seconds, but settled on answering.
"Hello?" You answered hesitantly, keeping a low voice to express your feeling.
"Hi," his voice was also low and somber on the other end. "I'm...sorry I didn't make it."
"I'm sorry, too," you mumbled, sitting on the edge of your bed - feeling your heart ache with his words. "I'm...leaving tonight."
"Leaving?" He asked, voice picking up slightly with concerned curiosity.
"I...I'm not marrying Naoya. I have a plan with where I'm going, so I'm safe...don't worry," you reassured him. "But I guess this is goodbye." As that word left your lips, your heart seethed with sadness and anger - remembering yet again that the last time you saw him was when you had declared your love.
The line was silent for a few seconds too long. "I guess it is," he finally answered, coolly. The tone was almost painful, like a knife plunging into your chest to finish the job. "Can I ask where you're going?"
"I can't say where...but I'm meeting with Geto." You replied, the line falling silent again.
"I see," he hummed hesitantly. "How does Gojo feel about that?"
"He doesn't know," you quickly answered.
"Will you tell him?"
"No."
Silence again.
"I love you," your voice was soft as the sadness crept in yet again.
"Goodbye, Y/N," he said cruelly, a hint of trembling in his voice. The line went dead after that, the buzzing tone haunting itself into your ear drums.
You sighed to yourself to try and regain composure. You also tried to reassure yourself that the pain of grief would pass over time, that the pain was temporary even though it didn't feel like it in the moment.
"Y/N..." Satoru slowly opened your door. He and your parents had got along enough for him to at least pay them a visit after the ceremony, the three of them hanging around in the living room after you shut yourself away.
"Oh...hi," you awkwardly brushed hair behind your ears, a feeling of being caught washing over you.
"Is what you said true?" He furrowed his brow into a mix of sadness, anger, and confusion.
"What?" Your eyes widened, realizing you truly had been caught. "What did I say?"
"That you're leaving for Geto." Silence had become a theme here, your hesitant answer of quiet telling Satoru all that he needed to know.
"Don't tell Mom and Dad," you begged quietly.
"I won't," he turned sadly to leave your room. You were surprised he wasn't putting up any sort of fight like he usually would. You supposed that Geto meant so much to him that he emotionally and mentally couldn't act as he usually would. It hurt you more to think that.
As he left, he pulled your door shut and the tears came back - hot against your cheek as they fell onto your lap. You were worried that you had just killed your relationship with damn near everyone in your life.
Suguru better be worth it...
