it's probably unfair to blame jesus aburtov for the trend of super porcelain pale skin (so pale it looks unnatural) but he's one of the worst culprits and one of the first i noticed since he took wyatt from a pretty deep tan (in the allreds' art) to VERY pale once he was on colors on fantastic four vol 5 (and continuing into vol 6)

#not as egregious as glynis wein/oliver's racist redskin colors esp as originally wyatt was the same skin tone as johnny #BUT he had been tan since the early 90s up until the mid 2010s when jesus aburtov took over colors so it's not... great....#dude's still whitewashing him lol #nadia rambles #nadia reads comics
