エヴァン・グラントが、音波を可視化するサイマティックスのサイエンスやアートの世界を紹介します。

イルカの鳴き声。などといった複雑な音の解析に、有用であるばかりか、複雑で美しいデザインを、創出すること��可能です。

ハンスイエニーという人が、このサイマティックスという分野を開拓しました。ジョンスチュワートリードもその一人。砂や水を振動させて、音を可視化するというものです。

また、共鳴を活用してるため、量子幾何学やカオス理論のストレンジアトラクターの観点からもアプローチできます。

アトラクターとは、ある力学系がそこに向かって時間発展をしながら集合すること。

このフラクタル次元がアトラクターの形状の種類を決めていくようになります。

次元に関してはこの場合、数学的な次元を前提としています。

次元のコンパクト化の説明の前に、数学的な次元の重要性について、さて、一般相対性理論をカルツァは、電磁気力に応用していきます。

当時は、それが重力以外に考えられる唯一の力でした。つまり、電気や、磁石の引き付けなどを引き起こす力のことです。

ここで空間と時間が歪むこと以外に、もしも次元が歪むことで電磁気力が働くかもしれないことに気づきます。

1926年にオスカークラインも、知覚で見えない次元がある可能性を示します。5 次元化して電磁気力も幾何学として表せるようにしたカルツァ・クライン理論というものです。

カルツァが3次元ではなく、4次元の宇宙における歪みと曲がりを説明する方程式を書き出した時、彼はアインシュタインがすでに３次元で導き出していた方程式を見出しました。それらは、重力を説明するための方程式です。

でも、カルツァは次元がひとつ増えたことによるもうひとつの方程式も見つけました。その方程式を見てみるとそれは正に科学者たちが長年の間。電磁力を表すために使ってきた方程式でした。驚くべきことです。それが、こつぜんと計算結果に現れてきたのです。

こうして、数学的な次元は、空間の量子化を数値的に表現できるようになっていくキッカケになりました。

その後のカルツァ・クライン理論は、無限に存在する次元の形状の一部をカラビ・ヤウ多様体として表現できました。

例えば、手を振って大きな弧を描く時、手のひらは3つの広がった次元の中ではなく、巻き上げられた次元の中を突っ切っています。

もちろん、巻き上げられた次元はとても小さいので、体を動かす間に、こうした次元を1サイクルして出発点に戻ることが繰り返され、その回数は、膨大な数にのぼります。このように次元の広がりが小さいと言う事は、手のような大きな物体が動く余地があまりないと言うことです。

それは結局、平均化されてしまい腕を振った時でも、私たちは巻き上げられたこのような次元を横断し膨大に旅したことに全く気づいていません。

これは、結び目の不変量にも関連しています。

まず初めに、円周を3次元ユークリッド空間に埋め込んだものを「結び目」と定義していることから始まります。

結び目理論においては、変形して移り合う「結び目」は、同じ「結び目」とみなして「結び目」を研究する。

「結び目」を研究するひもの結び方はいろいろあるので、様々なタイプの「結び目」がある。では、「結び目」のタイプはどのようにして区別すれば良いのであろうか？

「結び目」に対して定められる値で、「結び目」を変形することに関して不変であるようなものを「不変量」と言う。結び目理論は、トポロジー(位相幾何学)の一分野である。

1980年代に、数理物理的手法が、低次元トポロジーに導入されて、3次元トポロジーにおいては「結び目」と3次元多様体の膨大な数の不変量(量子不変量)が発見された。

これによって、4次元トポロジーには、ゲージ理論がもたらされることになりました。これらからゲージ場の数学的根拠として、活用されることになっていきます。

ゲージ対称性、アイソスピン、クォーク理論、ヒッグス粒子など。

さらに、数理物理に由来する量子群や共形場理論、チャーンサイモンズ理論もあります。

そして、スーパーストリング理論や量子化学の「変分法」にも応用されている。

次元のコンパクト化の説明についても結び目理論が関連してきます。

つまり

意味がないように見える大量のデータから生じた確認できるパターンに名前が与えられたものである。

全て、支離滅裂に見えるものの中に一貫性が隠れています。

不動点、リミットサイクル、リミットトーラス、ストレンジアトラクターの種類が現在知られているトポロジー、Super String Theory(スーパーストリング理論)に関係する形状です。

人間の限界をはるかに超える大量のデータをグラフィックで表す高度な人工知能を搭載したスーパーコンピューターにより、ニュートン力学では解読できなかったり

あるいは、意味のないデータとして無視されてきたなど、その存在さえ知られていなかったシステムが明らかにされました。

以前は、非線形であるとしていたもの。わけがわからないと思っていたデータが、突然、もっとまとまりのある理解方法で考えられるようになってきたのです。

そう言ったデータは、散乱しているか。無秩序だったので確率的な理論や数学を使った伝統的な方法では、アクセスするのは不可能でした。

古代から、人間の感覚を研ぎ澄ますことで体験的には、アクセスできていたかもしれませんが・・・

現代のコンピューティングのパワーと蓄積された物理学や数学によりデータとして精密に表現が可能になってきています。

チャーンサイモンズ理論もトポロジーに関係している重要な数学です。

簡単に、歴史を紹介すると、ガリレオ、レオナルドダビンチ、ロバートフック（フックの法則の！！）クラッドニーも取り組んでいたようです。

クラッドニーパターンといわれるもので、リサージュ図形みたいな形状を砂や水で表現しています。

1855年、フランスの物理学者ジュール・アントワーヌ・リサジューが考案したので命名されている。

オシロスコープと言われる機械を使用することで、これをX-Y入力モードに設定して、各入力に上記の x, y を入力するとリサジュー波形を観測することができる。

リサジュー波形は、周波数の測定に用いられます。

なお、ビックデータは教育や医療に限定してなら、多少は有効かもしれません。それ以外は、日本の場合、プライバシーの侵害です。

通信の秘匿性とプライバシーの侵害対策として、匿名化処理の強化と強力な暗号化は絶対必要です！

さらに、オープンデータは、特定のデータが、一切の著作権、特許などの制御メカニズムの制限なしで、全ての人が

望むように再利用・再配布できるような形で、商用・非商用問わず、二次利用の形で入手できるべきであるというもの。

主な種類では、地図、遺伝子、さまざまな化合物、数学の数式や自然科学の数式、医療のデータやバイオテクノロジー

サイエンスや生物などのテキスト以外の素材が考えられます。

他には

アインシュタインの一般相対性理論におけるゲーデル解（1949年）を産み出してます。

ゲーデル解の時空は時間的閉曲線（CTC）を持っていることを示し、トポロジー、三体問題にもつながっている。

General Motors is ramping up its autonomous vehicle business. According to Reuters, the company is planning to hire 1,000 people over the next nine months to work on Cruise, a GM subsidiary that develops self-driving car technology. The hiring spree would double the amount of staff currently under the Cruise umbrella and would mark a major investment in autonomous efforts. The company's tech has also had some nagging issues, including an inability to reliably recognize pedestrians and a habit of stopping for bicyclists who aren't actually there.
