Benophie au where Sophie is called in last minute to be a Party Princess for Amelia’s 4th birthday party - Daphne had hired the company Penwood’s Once Upon a Party to supply the Princesses - because Posy’s sick.
She arrives at Hasting House with the other 3 performers (an Ariel, Tiana, and Rapunzel) dressed as Cinderella and is swept immediately into the chaos of a party full of 4-5 year olds.
All of the Bridgerton sibs had been begged to dress up by their niece (none of whom can withstand the puppy eyes she has expertly mastered), and Benedict is in the middle of complaining to Colin about his itchy Prince Charming costume when the Princesses arrive. He is immediately enchanted by the Cinderella and doesn’t even notice Colin laughing as he stares at her with the same look of awe the kids have.
He spends the next hour trying to work out how to appropriately flirt with a Princess at his niece’s birthday when Amelia practically drags the Cinderella over to “Uncle Benny!” to meet her “Prince Charming”. Sophie is desperately trying to withhold a laugh at the girl’s enthusiasm and curtesies to the man standing in front of her.
Amelia’s “Uncle Benny you have to dance with her, she’s your Princess!” is all it takes for Ben to offer his hand to the performer and lead her to the ‘dance floor’ (the circle of garden full of children on sugar highs) where some ridiculous KidsBop music is playing. The pair dance as Amelia starts telling her parents, aunts, uncles, and grandmother to come join as well - she makes Colin dance with the Ariel (Anthony mutters something about Colin and Redheads to a bemused Kate) - and soon the garden is full of adults dancing “like they do in the balls!” between running children.
Benedict uses this chaos to try and find out all he can about the mysterious princess, his attempts being hampered by the Cinderella (because she refuses to tell him her actual name and risk breaking the magic if a child overhears) only answering in character.
“What do you do for fun?” “Oh, I listen to the wonderful stories of GusGus, and talk to the geese.”
“What’s your favourite colour?” “Well many think it’s blue, and my mother’s was pink, but I love silver. It’s why my fairy godmother made my dress like this.”
“Do you have any siblings? I have frankly too many.” “Only two step-sisters, they try their best but they can struggle to be kind.”
“Please tell me what your real name is.” “You may call me Ella if you so wish.”
The conversation goes in circles with Ben trying to control his growing frustration at her evasion as she smiles more broadly with each line.
Sophie is eventually pulled away by Amelia to go to the craft table and Benedict is left bereft and nursing a crush that has definitely been clocked by the many Bridgertons.
The party eventually winds to a close with the princesses saying their goodbyes to the children and parents arriving to pick them up. With the last guests gone, and only Bridgertons at the house, Benedict tries one last time to speak to the Cinderella hoping to ask her out for a drink, when he gets swept up by a tired Amelia asking to be carried. By the time she’s settled on his back the princesses have vanished and his heart starts to sink mentally kicking himself for missing his chance.
That is until Simon walks up to him and passes him a card with a knowing look. Glancing down Benedict sees the logo of Penwood’s Once Upon A Party, and underneath, a quickly drawn shoe.
“Not quite an actual glass slipper, but good luck mate”.

Every movie I watched in 2021
and what I though of it.
Wonder Woman 2: The plot in this movie was just one big joke. It was stupid. Wonder Woman deserves better.
Howl's Moving Castle: I do not know why I've never watched this one before. Maybe I have, but I don't remember it. Really enjoyable, although I have seen so much talk about this movie that not much about it surprised me.
Revenge of the Pontianak: a solid b-horror film. I do not remember much about the story itself so it does not live on in the memory.
The Dig: I really enjoyed the characters, the history and the storyline here. The message of life and death that is wrapped within the story is really neat and the ending stays with you.
The Yin-Yang Master - Dream of Eternity: The story itself was so thin and jumped a bit from one thing to another, but visually I thought it was really stunning.
Space Sweepers: A big blockbuster movie from Korea. It looked like a lot of effort was put into it. I found the story drag a bit towards the middle before picking up towards the end. The story is not very original, but I still thought it carried a certain charm to it.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before 3: Nether this one or the second one has really achieved the same charm as the first film for. I was however quite impressed with how it ended as it came as a pleasant surprise to me (I had not read the book).
Samjin Company English Class: There is this essence of girl power within the story and it has fun and engaging plot that has some unexpected twists. Couple of re-watches and it might end up there with korean movies such as Sunny or Miss Granny for me.
Minari: It's very slow story, it's just this mundane family story but it does sits with you for a long time afterwards.
Atonement: I actually felt like O appreciating this movie more on this re-watch. I found the storyline a bit confusing when I first saw it.
Raya and the Last Dragon: A fun Disney princess movie that hit all the boxes that I think a disney movie has to have. The plot was a bit obvious towards the end, but that can be said for many of these Disney movies. Good, family fun.
Soul: the story was really charming with a good message and the drawing style was lively. I really enjoyed it.
The Yin Yang Master: I do not know why China made two films based on the same story and released it so close to each other. If those two movies might have joined forces, they could have made one really good story. But instead we got two pictures that were just fine but there was something missing from the plot in both of them.
Mortal Kombant (1995): Ridiculously ridiculous is all I can say about this one.
Ever After - A Cinderella Story: This was one of my favorite childhood movies. It was still quite good.
George of the Jungle: It was both much sillier than I remembered and funnier than I thought it would be. There were some things I remembered very well and some that surprised me. Great entertainment and a fun nostalgia trip.
Rurouni Kenshin 1: These movies have some of the best fight scenes I've ever seen in a movie. This is a really good action movie that still manages to have a really good heart and a great story too. Ticks all the boxes.
Narnia 2: Still my favorite Narnia movie which is maybe a little weird because it does not follow the book that well. An excellent fantasy film nonetheless. Still a Suspian shipper.
Narnia 3: This film has its moments but it also drags on a bit and it is too much nonsense was added which adds nothing to the original story from the book.
Voice of Silence: Yoo Ah In is just such a charming actor. He really nails being a bit of a jerk but still being so sensitive at the same time that you can't help but root for him. A really interesting story with unforeseen complications and good twist.
Border: This was such an interesting and weird movie (but in a good way). I really enjoyed it.
Killing of a Sacred Deer: another interesting but weird movie, but it is also done with the intention of making you feel uncomfortable and make you think. I enjoyed it a lot.
Rurouni Kenshin 2, 3 and 4: These are just some really good action movies but they also manage to convey such touching story within it as well. There is this thread of honor and such things within the narrative and there is some actual character development within each of then. Good stuff.
Kingdom: Ashin of the North: I felt like there was a little missing from this story. I found it not have enough buildup and so slow in parts. I felt like I was not watching a whole story, which bugged me.
Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning: There was so much of story that I knew beforehand so not many surprises there. But it's a good character study and once again the action is really cool.
The Green Knight: I think films capture the vibe of the medieval story of Sir Gawain and the green knight quite well, although the message of the poems is not necessarily present in this adaptation. I still liked the atmosphere that the film evoked and Dev Patel is absolutely amazing in his role.
Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: A good marvel movie. Is not doing anything new when it comes to the Marvel plot perhaps, but the fun blockbuster movie that is a fun trip to the movie theaters.
Monk comes Down the Mountain: I was a little lost within the story towards the end. The humor wasn't for me and although I liked the fight-scenes I was not connected well enough with the characters to care much what happened.
Royal Kitchen in Qing Dynasty: The decent love story. Enjoyed it while I watched it. Can't tell you the plot right now as nothing about it is rememberable.
The Cursed: Dead Man's Pray: An excellent sequel to the drama The Cursed (which ended up in my top spot last year). It was nice to see these characters again. Good horror elements but the story drags its feet a little too much and could have been bolder in it's approach.
Seobok: Gong Yoo in a rather Gong Yoo-like movie. Much more of a tragedy and much less sci-fi thriller than I initially expected. Korea loves to make films that do not end in some kind of happily-ever-after (Hollywood could learn from that) which kinda I appreciate.
Free Guy: Good fun, but I personally felt a little lacking in character development and the plot is a bit too predictable at times. Hated the romance and it felt so forced. But that's hollywood for ya.
Lamb: I found this story really fascinating. It's so strange in parts, but in a good way. Very fable-like and unpredictable. I felt sorry for this lamb and cared so much for its welfare. One of the better Icelandic films that I have watched in recent years.
Dune: Slow in a way that will not work for everyone. It's hard to try to mix action and this sand politics without making it too dense or too complicated. The film does away with some of heaviest world building to tell the story and strips the story to it's core. Some people might want more action, but I rather enjoyed the cold, brutal atmosphere and the politics within the story. All the actors do really good job and do a lot for this dry and slow story. It's a difficult story to adapt. Practical Magic: Not witchy enough for my liking but good fun.
Practical Magic: Not enough witchy stuff for my taste, but good fun.
Enternals: The fine blockbuster movie. It's always fun to go and see a Marvel movie in cinemas. I think even though the story is starting to be really predictable and repetitive. Here I felt like the story lacked focus and most of the character seem a bit superficial and in fact I feel like Marvel should have made this story into a Disney + series and not a movie. I wish Marvel would take more risks with it's plot.
Love Hard: I just watched one cliché Christmas romcom movie in December and I just thought it was okay.
Krampus: I wish that would have been a bit more folklore used in this film. A bit more that side of Christmas maybe. But otherwise it was just pretty funny but at the same time a bit too stereotypical American comedy.
Spider-Man - no way home: This is a movie to see in the cinema. It did managed to surprise me, which Marvel movies do not always do these days. Great entertainment all the way through, although a bit fan-servicey. It was about like 20 years of western pop culture rolled up in one film. Such fun!
Fellowship of the Ring: What a classic! 20 years and still just so so so good. We are not worthy!

I keep seeing these posts going around about queer books, but my problem is that nowadays, I struggle to sit down with books and primarily consume them via audibooks. A lot of the recs are ones I haven’t found in audiobook format using my usual routes. For this reason, let me start a post that I hope y’all will add onto that has LGBTQ+ folks in them that I know exist in audiobook format. For reference, I’ve used for my audiobook consumption Audible, Libro, Overdrive, and Scribd, so each of these will have been found by myself in one of those places.
Nemesis Series by April Daniels trans wlw MC | Superhero | coming of age | YA The First book is Dreadnought followed by Sovereign and follows Danny, a trans girl whose body is transformed to the one that matches her vision of herself after a superhero falls and passes his powers on to her. All at once, she has to face the coming out this forces on her and new powers all at once. The books are intense and doesn’t pull its punches on the things Danny goes through, but her journey is beautiful and I love her so much.
Beauty Queens by Libba Bray  Various MCs | Drama | Humor | YA This is an ensemble cast and includes a wlw couple and a trans girl, all of whom are pretty damn cool. On their flight to their next competition, the plane these beauty queens are on crashes, and those who survive get stranded on a totally-supposedly-deserted island. This is a fun novel that had, to me, a very Hitchhiker’s Guide sort of humor to it. It was a really fun read, and the author narrates herself and is really fun.
Annie on my Mind by Nancy Garden wlw mc | contemporary | coming of age | YA The good kid becomes good friends with a girl she met outside of school, but she begins to realize she has more than just friendly feelings for the girl. Being in the 90s, she finds it’s not so easy to be the good kid and pursue this interest.
Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins bi MC | Contemporary | Romance | Class Romance | YA MC leaves Texas, USA to finish her last year of high school in a prestigious Scottish school where she ends up being roommates with an actual princess with whom she doesn’t start the year out on good terms with.
Ash by Malinda Lo wlw MC | Fantasy | Coming of Age | YA Cinderella retelling where the fairies aren’t guaranteed to help and the prince just might not be who Cinderella wants after all. A very internal journey, quite enchanting. I really need to go back and revisit this soon.
Juliet Takes a Breath by Gabby Rivera Lesbian MC | Coming of Age | YA Juliet leaves home for the summer to spend in Oregon with a writer who inspired Juliet’s journey into feminism and helped her embrace her lesbianism. She learns along the way though that adults are not infallible, and that this writer has a large blind spot when it comes to Juliet’s culture and the intersection of race and feminism. All this after having come out to her family and dealing with the fallout of that far from home.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell mlm MC | Fantasy | Romance | YA This story feels like a sort of ‘What if the Harry Potter books were more inclusive and also had some parody in its magical world’ story. But it jumps right to the last book and the good stuff. This felt like fanfiction in the best way (and is appropriate given that it was written after the book Fangirl wherein the MC is writing fanfiction of this universe kinda. It’s complicated but good!)
Kushiel Phedre Series by Jacqueline Carey bi MC | Fantasy | Epic Fantasy | Kink | Political Intrique A woman born with a flaw that set her on the path of being indentured as a child to a man who sees love and sex as another means to gather political intel. Down this road lies intrigue, betrayal, and love.
Nevernight Chronicles by Jay Kristoff bi MC | Fantasy | Revenge  Worth mentioning is that the author does not ID as any kind of LGBTQIA+ and in my opinion, that especially shows in the last installment of the series. I would suggest trigger warnings for the entire series if you have any as there is sex and violence. In a world with three suns and almost never night, a girl with a kinship for shadows seeks out the skills to kill those who destroyed her family.
Her Body and Other Parties by Maria Carmen Machado Various | Short Stories | Surreal | Contemporary   Don’t know how to summarize well given they are a series of short stories, but they are haunting and telling and beautiful, and even though I rarely do short stories, I absolutely fell in love with these.
The Night’s Watch by Sarah Waters Various | Ensemble Cast | Period Drama English WWII  Unfortunately, I read this in 2017 and it follows the stories of four different characters, two of whom are lesbians. I don’t remember their archs well enough to provide a proper summary. This story tends to be a more internal character study of each of the characters and what it might have been like living at the time they did. It was really good though if you like that sort of thing!
Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters Lesbian MC | Period Drama | Romance | Coming of Age Taking place in the Victorian era, Nan leaves her coastal, oyster fishing home after becoming infatuated with Kitty, performer who sings dressed as a man. She discovers herself in the big city as she works as Kitty’s attendant, but nothing ever stays the same, and when she finds her and Kitty’s desires on how to handle their feelings differ errevocably, Nan is suddenly left adrift.
The above are all focused in one way or another on the LGBTQ+ character in a prominent way where the character’s queerness is made explicit in the text. Below is going to be the audiobooks I’ve read/listened to where I have felt there is strong evidence that a character is portrayed as LGBT+. Some will have been made canon by the author after the fact, others have been widely regarded as portrayed that way, and a couple are just how I interpreted them.
Trouble with Kings by Sherwood Smith Fantasy | Romance | Slow Burn | YA A princess of fortune who has been courted for her wealth all her life, Flian is quite done with dalliance. But that doesn’t mean others are done with her. Caught in the middle of a political intrigue between two... maybe three... possibly four??? rivaling kingdoms, she finds her wealth pursued in less than ethical manners and ends up a player herself on the field of political import. Is it even possible in the chaos of all this to find love along the way? Flian herself repeatedly shows no interest in romance and while able to remark upon attraction, never seems to have any herself until she realizes she has fallen for someone, someone she realizes a bit late she’s had a coming together of the minds for. For this reason, my personal interpretation of this character is demi-sexual.
The Protector of the Small Series by Tamora Pierce Fantasy | Coming of Age | YA  Keladry of Mindelan wants to become the second lady knight in history. The trainer at the castle doesn’t believe girls are cut out for it, and the boys don’t seem the most ready for a lady knight in training either. But Kel is determined to make her place in the world. Throughout the course of the series, while she engages in some light dalliances, she finds herself disinterested in relationships and has been confirmed by the author since the series was published to be asexual.
The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon Fantasy | D&D-esque | Epic Fantasy | Coming of Age  Paksennarrion, a sheep farmer’s daughter, rebels against her father upon hearing of the engagement he made for her and runs away to a local contract militia company to start her career as a warrior. Strength and strategy aren’t the only things she’ll need on this life’s path, but also a faith she didn’t know she was capable of. I don’t know that the author has ever said anything on the matter, but in most circles you will find that Paks is generally regarded as aro/ace and is pretty explicitly stated several times throughout the series that she simply has never had the compulsion.
A Beautiful Poison by Lydia Kang Period Drama/Mystery (early 1900s) | Coming of Age | Mystery Three people on the cusp of adulthood, with a complicated history of friendship from different stations in life, come together to try to unravel the mystery of strange deaths happening around them while trying to navigate what shapes the rest of their lives will take. Of the two man lady characters, one repeatedly struck me as bisexual, and the other as asexual. This is one where I’m brining my own lens to the story, and I don’t know that the author did this with intent.
There’s a fair chance that I am forgetting some audiobooks and haven’t included all I’ve read. I would also say that anything not marked with a YA may have want of some trigger warnings. If someone wants to know, just let me know which warnings you have need of and I’ll try to do my best to remember if that content is included in the book. I of course cannot remember everything and don’t know everyone’s limits, but I can try. But for certain the non young adult stories have content that can be heavy or dark or twisted.

Disney Prince
I went to Disneyland and got all the feels and go figure had to write about it so here's a fluffy, cheesy and cliche Bucky piece for you all to enjoy
Xxx
You lounged on the sofa in the main room of the latest Avengers facility. You were undeniably bored as you waited with the other Avengers, all of you here for Tony’s newest announcement. You weren’t the only one looking about ready to leave, Nat and Wanda were each sprawled individually on the two armchairs both supporting looks of utter impatience and Steve, I was pretty sure, had read the same page of his book for the past 10 minutes. Bruce was still in the labs, unlikely to actually come up to join the rest of us and Thor was currently trying to work the coffee machine in the adjoined kitchen.
Bucky, the main light of your life, was sat with your head in his lap as he absentmindedly ran his fingers through your hair. His metal hand was nothing worrisome to you, although you had spent considerable time in the early stages of your relationship making sure his metal hand was held, used to touch you and encouraging its proximity to you. It was rare now that it was an issue between you, granted he had his moments of panic, but you were quick to rectify them and comfort him.
Just as you were about to get up and go find him, Tony strolled into the room seemingly in no rush and with a coy expression detailing his face. You let out a loud groan as you saw him.
“About time!” You cried. “Next time you call a meeting please do try to attend on time yourself.”
Tony just shot you a look of contempt as you felt Bucky’s chest vibrate from his chuckles and your ears caught Nat’s sniggers from across the room.
“Tony, what is this about?” Steve questioned his friend, a blonde eyebrow raised quizzically, and his book long forgotten.
“As you all know, Pepper has been working very hard on the PR for the Avengers and that includes merchandising and the like.”
The group of us nodded and warily exchanged glances around the room wondering where this could possibly be going.
“I thought you might all want to know that the rights to provide the merchandise for our motley crew have been agreed to be held by The Walt Disney Company. They will be providing clothing, costumes, toys. You name it they’ll make it.”
There were murmurs of acceptance and agreement at Tony’s words. You weren’t too surprised. Disney did of course have a large fanbase and would provide a family friendly feel to a group of superheroes who had caused a few near disasters.
“Does this mean Steve will be a Disney prince now?” You piped up from your place on the sofa, eyes glinting as Steve turned his incredibly unimpressed look on you.
Wanda let out a large laugh at your words and was quickly joined by the rest of us. Steve rolled his eyes good naturedly before pointing a finger at you mockingly.
“You most definitely will not be a Disney princess y/n. That I do know”
You held a hand to your chest in fake pain. Bucky laughed at your theatrics and leaned down towards your ear.
“You’ll be a princess to me, doll.”
Shifting your position, you glanced up at him, his blue eyes meeting yours and your heart jumped lightly.
“This makes you a Disney prince too, Buck.”
Bucky shook his head slightly, a soft smile on his face as he stared down at you.
“I’m not really prince material.”
He removed his gaze, lifting it to look back up at Tony and the others who had continued their own conversations. You frowned at his comment. Your heart ached for him and the pain his past continuously put him through. While the programming Hydra had forced into his mind had been removed, the memories of his time with them remained and left its mark.
“y/n,” Your head turned towards your name to see Tony glancing at you. “Were you listening to a word I said?” You grinned sheepishly at his words and shook your head.
He let out an exasperated sigh before handing his Stark pad to you. Taking the device in your hands and sitting up properly you looked intensely at the screen.
“Disney request that some of you attend their park in Orlando as part of the new working relationship between the themselves and us. A bit of promotion if you will.”
“Yes!” You jumped up as you yelled out fist in the air and a large grin across your face.
The sound of your yell caused a few of those around you to jump at the sudden noise. You felt your cheeks heat up slightly and you lowered yourself back down into your seat thoroughly embarrassed.
“I mean, yeah sure. I’ll go.”
Steve was smiling widely at you from his seat. You were like a sister to him and to see you act like a child in that very moment was rather endearing to him.
“Count me in too.” The blonde raised his hand and verified his words of acceptance to the offer.
Wanda and Nat also agreed, albeit the latter rather reluctantly. It was a rather public thing for her to be doing and the spy in her was uncomfortable at the prospect, despite her identity having been common knowledge for a few years now.
Bucky remained silent throughout the exchange, watching you as his thoughts ran a mile a minute.
“Bucky,” Noticing his silence and guessing his thought process, you turned to him and took his hands in yours. “Please come with us. I really want you to come with me.”
The true delight at the prospect of him coming with you shone on your face, your h/c hair framed your face and your eyes were wide with excitement. You looked so beautiful and he knew in that moment he could not say no to you. Returning your smile, he nodded his agreement to attend Disney World with the rest of you.
A few weeks later the five of you had boarded Tony’s jet and arrived at Disney World, Orlando. You were bouncing on the balls of your feet in excitement. You loved Disney. It didn’t matter how old you were, you would always be happy here.
Wanda stood next to you, equally as excited having not been before but enjoyed many of the films she had seen and she was very determined to meet Mickey. Steve and Nat stood to one side, heads together as they spoke. It was likely about a mission, but you could honestly care less right at this moment.
You linked your arm with your boyfriends. His body was tense, and he was glancing all around looking a little bit like a deer in headlights upon seeing all the people and families arriving.
You ran your hand up and down his arm in an effort of comfort and leaned up, pressing a kiss to his scruffy cheek. The five of you were surprised to find out that you were simply allowed to visit the park. There was no parade of you all, or big announcement. You were to enjoy your day out, speak with the public, explain why you were there and take any pictures requested but overall you were free to roam the park as you all pleased.
Un-hooking you arm you grabbed Bucky’s hand in your own and made your way towards the park’s entrance, tugging the large male behind you.
“C’mon Buck, I wanna go see Cinderella’s castle!”
Grinning at your words, Bucky couldn’t help but chuckle as you pulled him along behind you, a pair of Mickey Mouse ears adorning your head and you looked adorable. He was rather content with being pulled around by you today, perfectly happy watching you.
“Doll, the park has only just opened, and we have fast pass tickets. I think we have time.”
You rolled you eyes at him and called to Steve.
“Prince Rogers, hurry that ass up! We do not have all day.”
Steve met Nat’s glance before jogging over to you. Pulling you from Bucky’s grasp he threw you over his shoulder as he continued to run towards the entrance. Your laugh echoed behind you both and Wanda shrugged at Bucky and Nat before following you both at a fast pace.
“Hey, y/n promised to be my tour guide. Not yours.” And, knowing you were supposed to make yourselves a little bit obvious to the public, used her powers to remove you from Steve’s grasp and place you on the ground next to her. At the red magic swirling through the air many heads from members of the public turned towards you all. The whispers began and you knew it wouldn’t be long before they all began to approach.
With a smug grin plastered on her face, you and her ran through the gates and onto Main Street.
“Woah.”
Wanda’s awe was just the reaction you had hoped for and you squealed in happiness and you pulled her into a large side hug as you both looked at the castle. She pulled out her phone and snapped a couple of pictures before shoving it back into her coat pocket.
You both waited patiently for the others to make their way to you and then the real fun could begin.
You all spent the day moving around the park, splitting up at different intervals to go on different rides or simply because a member of the public had stopped one of you.
Bucky stayed close to your side the whole time, his vice grip on your hand as he watched the public approach the group. Steve had to stop the most to sign things and take pictures and Bucky could almost picture him doing the same thing back in the 1940’s after his shows and he held to hold back a smirk at his friend.
You had been stopped several times also. While being a fairly new Avenger your ability to manipulate the earth was rather impressive. You adored the children who approached you timidly, being encouraged by their parents. Crouching down to their level you would hold your palm to the ground and produce little shapes out of the stones and pass them to the child in front of you. The little cries of joy made your heart squeeze and you happily returned every hug you got in return.
Watching you with the children was a lovely sight for Bucky. You glowed with happiness as you turned to smile at him every single time it happened.
“Bucky!” The sound of your call had him immediately looking for you, his instinct to protect you kicking in and his heart racing. Seeing you stood a few meters away with a small boy next to you had him breathing a sigh of relief and he made his way over to you at your gesture.
“Buck, this here is William. Say hi to Bucky, Will.”
William could not have been older than 6 and he glanced up at Bucky with wide green eyes.
“William was just telling me that his favourite Avenger was the Winter Solider.” Your smile reached your eyes as you took in your burly boyfriend looking so shocked.
With your eyes gestured for Bucky to crouch down next to William. Slowly, he did so and faced the small boy.
“Is that true?” The words tumbled out of Bucky’s mouth before he could stop them.
In utter awe that Bucky was talking to him, William nodded his head enthusiastically and found his voice.
“Yeah! He’s the coolest.” William glanced at Bucky. “He has a metal arm.”
The boy’s parents were stood closely to you three. His dad looked towards Bucky.
“William has a prosthetic leg, he lost it in a car crash a few years ago.” The pain in the words hit Bucky in the chest and he turned back towards the boy, moving his left arm into view.
Upon realising who he was stood with, William did not hesitate to throw his arms around the larger man. Returning the hug hesitantly he glanced up at you to see small tears welling in your eyes.
You were so happy to watch the scene in front of you. Sure, Bucky had been approached by a few people but not nearly as much as the rest of the group in attendance and you saw how it affected him that people were still weary. This little boy held no fear towards him.
You both spoke with William and his parent’s a little longer before bidding them goodbye and moving to meet the rest of the group at the front of the castle in time for the illuminations show.
“He was a sweet boy.” You casually commented.
Bucky glanced down at you. “He was wasn’t he. I never thought of myself as being a role model to children like him. He made me wonder if there were more like him.”
You nodded at his words.
“I think I might visit the children’s hospital. See if I can help any children like him.”
Your head lifted sharply at his words. A large grin covered your face and you pulled him into a deep kiss there and then. Placing his arms around your waist Bucky happily returned the gesture.
Pulling apart and slightly out of breath you whispered up at him. “I think that is a great idea Buck. You are more loved by them than you think.”
A small kiss was placed on your forehead as you approached the others.
Wanda darted forward towards you and pulled you away to speak with her prattling on about how her, Steve and Nat went in to the studios park and met Stormtroopers. Bucky moved to stand by Steve and the two watched as the three women chatted away and discussed their day.
A loud announcement over the speakers signifying that it was 5 minutes until the show had Bucky pulling away from his conversation with Steve and stepping towards you, pulling your body to his chest and you all turned to face the castle.
You were nearly in tears as you watched the illuminations show. It was so wonderfully done and so beautiful to watch with the combination of the projection, fireworks and music. Plus being in the arms of your boyfriend did make things even better.
You turned to shoot Bucky a quick smile before returning to watch the show.
Bucky glanced down at you. The fireworks were lighting up your face and Can you feel the love tonight echoed around the park. Bucky felt his breath leave him as a single thought crossed his mind as he watched you.
He loved you.
That was it. He loved you. You never made him feel different, you encouraged him to be himself and accept the support of those around him. You helped him to see things he didn’t think were there and you made him so undeniably happy. He couldn’t imagine life without you.
“I love you.”
The words fell from his lips like water, brushing against your ear as he leant forward towards you. You jolted in his arms and spun to face him. Your eyes were wide and your hair a slight mess from the wind but in that moment with your cheeks flushed you were perfect.
“What did you say?”
Placing his hands on either side of your face he pulled you towards him.
“I said, I love you.”
Your lips parted in shock. Your heart was racing like a jackhammer as the words registered in your mind before you threw yourself into his arms, burying your head into his shoulder very briefly. Pulling away you paused at his ear and whispered right back.
“I love you too.”
Bucky felt like he could fly hearing you say you loved him back and he kissed you just as a large display of fireworks set off behind you. Neither of you noticed the large grins adorning your friends faces as they witnessed the display of love between you both.
Pulling away, you giggled lightly and pressed one more kiss to Bucky’s lips before turning to watch the rest of the show.
As the show ended and people turned to leave you pulled away from Bucky to move with Nat and Wanda who immediately began light teasing at your very public display.
Steve clapped his old friend on the back.
“Congrats, pal.” Bucky’s returning grin was infectious and he pulled Steve into a quick hug before they followed you three out of the park.
Piling in to a black car that was parked waiting for them you snuggled up to Bucky’s side, the adrenaline from the day leaving your body and you quickly began to feel sleepy.
“Hey, Buck?”
“Yeah, doll?”
“Can I go meet a Stormtrooper tomorrow?” Your sleepy mumbled request made him smile and he agreed that you could go and meet a Stormtrooper.
Nodding and half asleep you managed a final few muffled words before you let sleep overtake you.
“You’re my Disney prince, Buck.”
Bucky pressed a kiss to your hair.
“You’re my princess, y/n.”

July 10, 2019
1. The Real Housewives Of Orange County star's daughter Briana, 32, and son-in-law Ryan Culberson, 35, posed for a celebratory July Fourth photo on their Instagram, but the photo served another purpose as well.
The couple deliberately posed in the same configuration with their family as they did last year, and put the old photo in a gallery behind the new pic to show how much weight they have lost in the year since they've been on the keto diet.
The combined total amount of weight shed between the two is a whopping 107 pounds, as described by Ryan in the caption.
'Happy 4th of July from my family to yours! Swipe right and see the difference a year on keto has made, down 107 between the two of us!' Ryan wrote, including several Fourth of July hashtags along with #ketotransformation and #itsalifestylenotadiet.
The Culbersons have been quite public about their adherence to the high-fat, low-carb diet, posting regularly about their experience to Ryan's Instagram since they began the regime last June, as reported by People.
2. Jessica Simpson, 39-year-old singer-and-actress has promised she 'won't hold back' on any details of her life in the tome because hopes to inspire others to 'walk through their fears and defeat their challenges' by addressing her own struggles in the book, which will be released in February 2020.
'I have been approached many times over the years about writing a book. It never felt right to me until this very moment,' she said.
3. Abigail Disney, 59, says her parents Roy E. Disney and Patricia Ann Dailey were both alcoholics and how there was violence in their home growing up
She is the granddaughter of Roy O. Disney who co-founded The Walt Disney Company with her great uncle Walt Disney
Abigail said she was raised on the Disney princess culture of Cinderella and Snow White despite her deeply held feminist beliefs
Over the past year, Abigail has spoken out frequently about wealthy people and how they need to do more to help others
Abigail has given away tens of millions dollars that she inherited from her family when she turned 21
She caused controversy earlier this year when she said it was 'insane' that current Disney CEO Bob Iger's salary and bonus package totaled $65 million
She said Iger could have used his package to give a 15 percent raise to everyone who worked at Disneyland and still walked away with $10 million.
4. Kanye West is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Forbes magazine.
Forbes estimates revenue for his Yeezy sneaker line will top $1.5B in 2019.
West negotiated an unheard-of 15% royalty on wholesale for the shoe.
Forbes pegs his pretax income at $150 million over the past 12 months.
It is a stunning reversal from three years ago when he said he was $53M in debt.
Now he is spending his shoe fortune on special Belgian plaster floors for the Los Angeles mansion he shares with wife Kim Kardashian West and their four kids.
5. San Jose-based Caliva said on Tuesday Jay-Z would join as chief brand strategist.
Rapper will work to increase job training for former prison inmates.
Jay-Z was named by Forbes in June as the first rapper to become a billionaire.
Privately owned Caliva, formed in San Jose in 2015, said on Tuesday that Jay-Z had entered a long-term partnership in which he will focus on outreach and the creative direction of the company.
The rapper, whose formal title with Caliva will be chief brand strategist, will also further his social justice efforts by increasing job training for former prisoners as well as fostering quality and fairness in the development of the legal marijuana industry, the company said in a statement.
'We want to create something amazing, have fun in the process, do good and bring people along the way,' the rapper said in a statement.

summer reads 2017
clockwork princess- (9.5/10) the beginning of this summer/end of the school year i vowed to get caught up on all of the shadowhunters books, this one was my favorite in the infernal devices series, but the infernal devices will always remain my least favorite shadowhunters series.
harry potter and the philosophers stone- (10/10) my favorite in the harry potter series always, i read it to feel nostalgic.
lady midnight- (10/10) I LOVED THIS BOOK! it was by far my favorite in the shadowhunters books, i would recommend it to anyone, but you have to read all of the first 11 books before, but they are also fantastic.
lord of shadows- (9.9/10) the second book in the dark artifacts series, i loved it a .1 less than lady midnight, it was still amazing, but the end killed me in so many ways.
windfall- (10/10) i can't praise this book enough, the synopsis a girl who buys her best friend she is secretly in love with a lottery ticket, but he ends up winning the lottery and how they handle this, and it was so much better than i could have ever expected. i read in all in one sitting and i want to reread it very badly, read. this. book.
geekerella- (5/10) really was not a fan of this book, some points were very fun, and it is set in the state i live in, but everything else i was not a fan of. it was a light fun(ish) read, so if you're in the mood for this then read it, it is a cinderella retelling.
why we broke up- (10/10) such an amazing book oh my gosh, its a letter from a girl to a boy about why they broke up and it is fantastic. the way it is worded makes you able to picture the story perfectly, i listened to the audio book for this one as well and it was great.
percy jackson and the olympians, the whole series- (9.3/10) i put these together because they all are the same concept, the lightning thief is my favorite of the bunch, but all of them are phenomenal. i read them again for the first time since middle school and loved them equally as much.
fateful- (9.3/10) this story is about the titanic, it shows the sinking but its more focused on the actual days of it sailing more, but on the titanic are werewolves. it has a healthy relationship in it that i love very much, i recommend this novel as well.
dash and lily’s book of dares- (10/10) my favorite read of the summer, its a book set around christmas, and a girl leaves a treasure hunt type thing in a book that the boy finds, and they send each other different places and talk, but they each also have their own personal life problems and i just loved it so much.
12 days of dash and lily- (9.9/10) the second book in this duology that was strong and amazing, and set around christmas just a year later and their struggles in a relationship, but with family as well.
99 days- (2/10) I DISLIKED THIS BOOK ALOT. i honestly don't know why i read it, it had a toxic main character and a toxic plot with no meaning.
the beginning of everything- (2/10) i didn't like this book, i honestly don't even remember the plot of it thats how forgettable it is.
the lost and found- (5/10) this one was okay, it was about PTSD and internet friends, which i liked, but the plot seemed strenuous at times.
love and gelato- (7/10) i was really looking forward to reading this book and i was gravely disappointed in it. i liked the story and how it was set in italy but it wasn't a deep life changing book like i was hoping.
dumplin- (4/10) this book is praised my many people and companies, but i personally hated it. the plot was not good at all.
harry potter and the chamber of secrets- (10/10) very underrated book in the harry potter series, i think it is really good, not one of the worst like most others, this is another one i read for nostalgia.
the gentleman guide to vice and virtue- (10/10) holy moly this was a great book, it had an amazing friends to lovers man/man relationship, pirates, kickass female lead, set in the 1800s (I'm pretty sure), and mystery. its truly fantastic and i have already made my friend read it.
i see london, i see france- (9/10) this book has a very bad writing style but i loved the book so much. its about two girls traveling all across europe and makes you able to picture the story perfectly. it has a great romance in it as well and for the writing style had many very very mature topics, it was written like a 7th grade reading level but the story was definitely for older high school. i also read this on a plane in 2 short plane rides on the best day of my life, so i could have just been in a really good mood while reading it.
words in deep blue- (4/10) you can tell that the second half of the summer my book choices strongly deteriorated. this book had no plot whatsoever, i was not a fan.
the fault in our stars- (8.5/10) this was only my second time reading this book, i liked it much better than when i read it in 6th grade, i picked up a lot more now that I'm much older.
aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe- (10/10) this was my 5th read through of this book, its so amazing, it has a gay couple that are so slow burn it hurts but also its great that they are. i love this book with my whole heart.
eliza and her monsters- (9/10) was very very good, its about a girl who makes an amazing popular graphic series and the most popular fan fiction writer of it moves to her school, it was cute and inspiring.
( i am halfway done with both the hate u give and the night circus, which are very good so far )

Unthinkable CH 15/???
Tom Hiddleston x Reader
Word 2500
Warning: nothing
"Now that the dress is decided what fantastic plans do you have? Lucifer hinted at things galactic for the last few days together." she changed the question of knowing what was going on in the mind of his friend,
"I thought about booking a couple of rooms ..." Rice began
"Tomorrow we leave .. for Disneyland Paris!" Roby shouted excited interrupting his friend, too elated to let the friend finish, Y/N began to bounce euphoric in turn, had always wanted to go there with the family, even if not she loved the rides was attracted by the shows and parades, they would have ended the holidays having fun all together, they spent the rest of the day organizing the departure and doing a schedule of things to do and see and went to bed early.
At 7 they were all awake and hyperactive ready to leave, had breakfast and got in the car, for the occasion Rice had booked a limousine similar to the one that had gone to take it for the trip, big and pink this time instead of champagne in the minibar were juices and drinks, the only constant was the fruit covered with chocolate, Disney was a couple of hours of cars that flew between laughter and jokes, Roby took out of the backpack the princesses' wigs all burst out laughing, they divided the precious booty and getting ready to make their triumphal entry into the park, Simo was the most excited of the group, he had always liked to behave like a VIP, Rice had reserved the suites in the best hotel in the park, had special passes that gave access practically to everything and a couple of escorts ready to fulfill any wish they had, it was heaven, or it would have been for Y/N if her mind had not been addressed to the camper in the woods and the arms of Tom who had held her two nights before, had put the man's shirt back on and blessed with his perfume, distracted by the memories, did not notice that the car had stopped, a park attendant was waiting for them
"Poppy are you still among us?" Rice asked, smiling at her "We have come with a beautiful smile and go"
Y/N answered the smile and followed his friend, the rest of the family was jumping out of the car
"Well arrived if you want to follow me we prepared a nice breakfast in the castle" the clerk led the way he followed him trying to ignore the looks of the other guests in the park, with the wig on his head no one had recognized Rice, someone was taking pictures, it was so strange to be on the side of the hunted animal now they understood what Rice felt sometimes or why some VIPs reacted badly, the group tightened and entered the castle hall reserved for them, everything was perfect the table was set and the waiters were waiting, they sat down and had breakfast before seeing the rooms and dividing the beds.
Y/N, Rice, Phil, Gian and Roby settled in the Merida suite, a riot of green and tartan, as in the cartoon it looked like the room of an old Scottish castle, complete with a fireplace and carpet in the shape of a very soft and furry bear. the linen was styled with the rest, the green and blue tartan dressing gowns were warm and comfortable, a fruit basket showed off on the living room table, the boys were fascinated by all that luxury, it was normal for Rice to live like this when he was away from home and even Y/N was immediately used to that kind of pampering, again she missed Tom and the suites where they had spent so many good moments, decided to send him a message, a simple "hello" nothing compromising or honeyed, put the phone back in the bag and went back to the hall where the others had joined them wearing the blue robes of Cinderella's room,
"Friend you know you can organize things!" Simo was euphoric, "Make a really beautiful life, limousune, luxury hotel..I'm envious to know"
"Simo I assure you that I could go back, it's all very beautiful and flashy but when I'm around my life does not belong to me, for now it's fine that no one has recognized me but I do not think we'll be so lucky every day that we'll be here" Rice answered seriously,
"Let's not think about Lucifer now, let's enjoy the park and hope not to come paparazzati and slammed on some stupid magazine" Y/N embraced him "Where do we want to start the tour?"
"Poppy phone .." Gian was taking the phone of the woman from the bag ".. hello? .." he said answering ".. a second that I call .." attracted the attention of her friend, Y/N moved from the group in ferment asking who he was, "A certain Will .." Gian said passing the device the woman's eyes lit up,
"Hi" was the only thing he could say
"Hello, beautiful i bother?" Tom's warm voice on the other side melted her,
"Absolutely not Will, wait a second to change room .." Y/N went into the room and closed the door behind her, ".. I'm sorry, but the others make a hellish noise"
"Are you hanging around with your family?" he asked curiously,
"Yes, Rice arranged a couple of days at Disney before saying goodbye" she answered falsely cheerfully, "The holidays are over for everyone it's time to go home"
"Do not stay in Paris?" he asked. "Let's finish shooting in a few days and I was hoping to take advantage of your hands before leaving for filming at the studios", Y/N did not know what to say, she would like to see him again and put her hands on him again but had the holidays lasted too long, not to be accountable to some superior or boss, she worked with other girls and each was head of herself,
"I would like to Thomas but I have to go back to my life, Rice leaves for I do not know which part of the world Monday I can not be still around the house" was aware of the lie he was saying for Rice would not have been a problem if it remained, in fact it would have been more than happy, but had to put an end to those holidays so intent if it was special, it was not his world had to come back down to earth, someone knocked on the door,
"Coming guys" she said aloud,
"Do they claim darling?" the man asked
"They stop to start the tour, I do not I love the rides but see them happy fills me with joy" Y/N laughed
"Then I let you go, we soon feel darling", the woman greeted and returned to the room where the group was ready to go out, as always the phones left as she did not climb on the attractions, they closed the door behind and followed the chaperone.
The park was crowded but once out of the castle no one paid any attention to them, or almost, sometimes they noticed some curious people taking pictures while not understanding who he was hiding under the wig and dark glasses, they were fascinated by the princesses' parade before heading for the 3D roller coaster, when Y/N came the nausea knew she was still tied to a seat but the images of the viewer gave the sensation and being suspended on a volcano before being thrown down into the lava, the adrenaline rushed in rivers all screamed and laughed after 5 endless minutes were released from the seats and the woman gave a stomach, for her was too much,
"Not even on those fake can you resist??" Marco teased, Phil passed a bottle of water the assistant promptly asked if he needed help,
"I'm fine thanks, I was hoping they would not bother me but I was wrong" she said "Too bad the breakfast was very good" laughed wiping her mouth and drinking before following others to a new attraction, seen those that had happened shortly before she decided to wait for them at the end of the race, would not have survived the real roller coaster, felt the stomach at the sight alone Phil kept her company,
"You do not have to make me nutshell Phil I'm fine now" smiled at his friend leaning on his shoulder
"I know you're okay, you've repeated so much, I almost believe it" he said putting his arm around her shoulders, "Before the hotel was he on the phone right?", Y/N nodded, "Honestly .. how are you? We're just you and I will not tell anyone .. "
"Really Phil I'm fine, now that I'm with you, here in the paradise of joy I can not feel bad do not you think?" the woman answered, "I think the worst will be when I will go back home and there will be no bearing to distract me "
"And if instead of going home I would come to London with me a few days? Or do you have to go back for work?"
"I've had a month off I would not want my clients to get attached to my co-workers it's time to come back to real life "she laughed, "Anyway I promise I'll come see you as soon as I can, you know it was always my dream to go to the theater in London" she answered grateful for that invitation, when the group joined them were still tight in a hug, as with Gian did not need to talk to understand each other,
"Hey happy couple we thought to take a break and look at Mulan in the central theater, we have reserved seats," Rice said taking Y/N by the hand, "So your stomach will be okay to have lunch," he whispered, the woman smiled at him,
"But Simo's? Did you leave it tied to the seat?" she asked not seeing him, Roby replied that he was waiting for the photos and that he would reach them in the theater, followed the chaperone to the theater passing a cake stand and Y/N began to jump, dragged Rice with her as ran towards the cotton candy, rather than candyfloss was a colorful flower-shaped masterpiece, although she was ill was happy as a child, fascinated by the mastery of sugar Rice burst out laughing,
"You're not grown for sugar yarn?" he teased, passing her a colorful stick, the woman thanked him, observing that wonder,
"This deserves to be kept ... a beautiful smile Poppy" Roby was taking a picture of her,
"Seeing see" hopped Y/N, the friend turned the phone, in the picture the woman laughed, her eyes bright while biting sugar, the stick was huge and made it seem small in proportion, "Please pass me it is beautiful," laughed cheerfully while jumping hand in hand with Rice, adored cotton candy the friend had given her a home machine to do that it pulled out to every dinner, they came to the show and got comfortable in the assigned seats waiting for the start of the show, Simo joined them just before the curtain got up.
It was like being in the cartoon, the sets were beautiful and the actors were wonderful, they sang all the songs and had fun like crazy, as Rice had expected at the end of the show Y/N was hungry and asked if they could eat something, the companion led the way to the nearest restaurant Belle and the Beast welcomed them making them sit in the mezzanine VIP, lunch attended to skits taken from the film, Niko was involved in a ballet with the teapot that made them laugh a lot, the food was great and the trolley of sweets seemed f they were perfect and colorful desserts, pink meringue seemed a cloud and tasted of paradise, it was one of the best things they had eaten, fortunately even the coffee was great, they were going out when a group of girls came up
"OMG RICEEEEEEEEEEE" the screaming group had recognized him, Rice half smiled and greeted politely,
"How beautiful you are..” said one, "Do you give me the autograph on the tits?" another was inserted, the family was stunned for all those attentions to his friend, they looked at each other not knowing what to say or do, Rice kept calm, took pictures and signed autographs before greeting the girls and return to others,
"I hope you do not become a nightmare this day, sorry," he said as they moved to the little train to make the park tour, "I would not have to call the bodyguards to be comfortable "
"Do not worry we'll take care of the loving hordes" laughed Marco putting himself you look at him with a serious look and hands on his hips, the others imitated him ringing him with protective, "But you're witty boys, no really very witty," said sarcastic blushing, "When you finish doing the stupid train waiting" he picked up Y/N, who was still laughing at the hand and marched briskly to the station, in the reserved wagon they found sweets and champagne waiting for them, they got comfortable and enjoyed the ride, from the top of the rail you could see everything, Y/N sent the photo to Chris who replied shortly after
§ Why do you torture me Silly? It's not nice to send some pornography to those who are working§ the woman laughed, she knew that Disney was the favorite place of the friend,
§Many sorry my captain I just wanted to share the flowers of this sugary garden§ added a smile and turned to Gian that the he was passing a glass, toasted the day and the family gaping when the train passed in the middle of a fountain with water and lights,
"Oh Lucifer you had a wonderful idea to bring us all here, this place is the paradise," Y/N said, hugging him,
"And you have not yet seen the Jungle Book area," he answered, holding her close to him, the train ride lasted almost 2 hours, they saw the whole park and went into confusion, there were too many things to do and see and it was by now evening they decided to watch the fireworks in the lake of the galleon of Captain Hook, they enjoyed the spectacle of the battle the great pyrotechnic finale took their breath away, they returned to the destroyed hotels and happy, when Rice opened the door of the room was greeted by a yellow flash, on the table in the living room showed off a huge bunch of sunflowers.
