Thinking about Grian switching between his "work" skin and "fishing" skin. Cause he has magnificent facial hair on his fishing skin and none on his work skin.

So either... Grian has fake facial hair he wears just for fishing, OR the much funnier option, he shaves for his job at the Permit Office, and then when he leaves, concentrates really hard and it grows back immediatly. He learned this skill from Mumbo.

really wanted to capture this shot with chilchuck. obviously the mimic episode has a lot of really fun and impressive animation, but i was particularly charmed by this bit. there's something really satisfying and cute about the way he turns around and the counting gesture he does with his hand.

#one piece #portgas d ace #sabo #monkey d luffy #it’s 5 am and I do not have the time to be spending on procrastination doodles but that is neither here nor there #ft. my headcanons for their outfits as kiddos but not really because I think this is pretty close to canon #oversized jacket for sabo because I refuse to believe he has worn the same clothes after being a runaway for at least a few years #like kids grow so fast and I can see undersized jacket for that as well but I feel like undersized would just be uncomfy and restricting #straw hat is definitely too big for 7 year old luffy so I hc it goes around his neck more often than not #or sabo or ace gets annoyed at luffy for having his eyes blocked all the time while they’re fighting each other or hunting so they #eventually get luffy to wear it around his neck more #also you can’t convince me that the fuzz on luffy’s shorts is like… actual fur #I think it’s more like very frayed edges of denim if you know what I mean #ace with baggy pants because it’s what he deserves. baggy pants ftw #also probably bigger pockets for his pickpocketing #sabo complains about noble clothes like girls complain about small pockets #‘what are they even supposed to hold. why are they so tight. this is just them trying to get us to buy expensive bags’

Bonus! Based on this quick thing I did this afternoon and the idea took a bit more shape and turned into that thing from above uEK

#not too much effort on the colors with this one #o would’ve left it just with lineart but at the end I thought it would look nicer with some rough shadows #shadowing. you know what I meant.#his plant markings being extremely faint on his eyes when they aren’t glowing is very true to me also #I think itd be awesome if Vash’s eyes would just look like that when he isn’t masking #or they could be a bit more lax but still look like they are staring far far away into the void #or into your souls if you so happen to make eye contact with him. like woowoo over here #he is probably listening for one of his sisters who is not so close to him. maybe even Kni? who knows it’s up to interpretation #Vash’s hair can be such a nightmare also. I do not think of physics when drawing him whatsoever #I give him the Mickey Mouse ears treatment sometimes and some other I actually respect the fact that his hair will always be swept #to the right. if you haven’t noticed that yet. Okay I need to have a quick word with the fandom here, guys.

So, ‘dear boy’ does not mean what some of you think it means. Not from a guy who’s LARPing as an older English dude, anyway. It’s kind of just a phrase men use for each other, not exclusive to loved ones or even people you actually know. It’s also not necessarily a nice saying - quite often it’s a veiled way of saying ‘you absolute pillock’. Picture it being said in the most passive-aggressive tone humanly possible for the full effect.

Point is, Aziraphale probably says it a lot. There’s no point getting hung up on who he says it to, because the way he’s using it is not actually an endearment. Not like the way he says Crowley’s name, which I could probably write an essay about.
