watching two dozen interviews of wes ball talk about how he made the maze runner movies is genuinely such a pleasure to watch. it's so so clear that he deeply loves the content of the maze runner books while still understanding that they're fucking insane and makes next to no sense. the vision he has for the movies are unparalleled, the way he slims down the books while still upping the character moments is so impressive!! he was able to capture the heart of the series while still making it really accessible to a general audience. it has a clear trilogy feel to it, which a lot of trilogies do NOT have. and the best part is the cast LOVES him, you can tell just by the way they describe and poke fun of wes that this project would NOT work without him. also the way the cast NEVER talks about dashner is so fucking good. they're like 'omg there's wes, the genius, doing a one man show haha so silly, ily wes' and then it hard cuts to someone being like 'james is on set a lot.'

to log 2 ~ The book in your hands feels rough; the brown leather is covered in signs of abrasion from the careless use of its owner. Your fingers trace the insignia on the front cover. It’s stamped with a small bird, a sparrow, or a robin, perhaps. You open the book, and the once valuable parchment is stained and filled with words written in cheap ink and scrawled, messy handwriting. Wilderness, day 1 after the escape With the number of diaries I've stumbled across since I left Baldur’s Gate months ago, it almost seems mandatory to fill one of my own. It’s like a curse will befall those who don’t write down every fever dream and triviality of their sad little lives. Feels ridiculous to start with this nonsense too, but if I believed in signs, I’d probably assume that someone sent this book my way. The cover caught my eye, and I bought it. Maybe writing will help, and if it does, the book will be of use, finally. I need to sort out the mess that’s my mind and something to keep my thoughts … under observation. I don’t have the slightest idea what the thing in my brain is up to or how far its influence goes. Sometimes I notice how it writhes and squirms, followed by the urge to take my dagger and slowly drive it in to cut the little fucker out of there. Let’s call this plan B. I found the ill-humored girl on the beach again. Barely a scratch either. I wonder if I saved her life by getting her out of that pod or if she would have made it just as far without my help. She seems to be tough. And doesn’t like it when I try to touch that little toy of hers. Will have to be quiet if I want to take a look at it while she sleeps. Anyway, the sword I snatched from the body of the dead commander looks better on her than on me. I like my weapons to be wieldy and fast. But I assume she’ll make good use of it. Tomorrow, we’ll continue to search the area for anything of use. And a healer capable of dealing with mindworms. I kind of miss the creepy little fellow that led me through the ship. Saw some of them lying dead among the wreckage. It probably didn’t make it. Pity.

Demon au Gaster ( Wrath - former)

Ta-da~ Today is Mel's birthday (May16th), so I prepared a little smth to celebrate! Demon AU Mel and Gaster! Wow, not that often you get to see them side by side uh? Originally I wanted to do a special comic or make an OC sheet but ran out of time. A shame, but I hope you'll enjoy this option too, hehe

And since this is Gaster's first appearance in this AU, here are the usual headcanons, enjoy:

-First Demon of Wrath, rumoured to have been stripped of his position after an accident but others say he just mysteriously vanished one day, leaving the post vacant. -Arguably one of the most powerful demons of his generation, he contributed significantly to the growth of the underground alongside the king, who bestowed him with his own domain, Hotland. -Native of Snowdin, he hardly visits it anymore, although that's where he met Mel, a wandering demon. The nature of their relationship is unknown but it is assumed that they were on good terms as he convinced her to move to Waterfall (+they're both skeleton monsters). -An elegant and dignified monster in the public eye, but ruthless on duty. He was known for "disciplining" other demons and “tormenting” lost souls as a way of entertainment, and feared for his infamous fits of madness.   -Fond of contracts and bets, he often manages to trick his targets to accept unfair or deadly offers. More than one monster has lost something important to him and/or owes him. -Despite his controversial reputation, many demons were loyal to him and remained so even after his disappearance.

-Thinks Humans and Angels are “interesting” as experiment subjects. 

Some trivia: 

.This is his official attire but in private he prefers more casual clothes, usually light pelts, and fabric. 

.Has a great appreciation for science and arts.

Human Diesel full body concept design.

Look at this muthafucka-

Because I'm literally only eye dropping colors from the original for his outfit Diesel's colors are a bit limited. His gloves and boots may look a bit weird to the normal people but it's because they're the colors of his wheels. I'll probably make his boots less detailed but I think it's pretty good(his ladders are markings on his sleeves).

Again, he is an adult, just used baby Diesel for colors and such, yada yada yada-
