Tommy Innit's Secret Clinic, Chapter 12: Tubbo, You're Going!

Summary: Tubbo gets his letter from the Esempi Tech School. Tommy tries to figure out how they are going to pay the rest of the tuition.

TW: I don't think there's any in this chapter!

A/N: This is a bit of a filler chapter and this focuses more on some Character Development with the Bench Trio. So, I'm trying really hard to start writing again and I do apologize for the long a waited wait for the next update! Will try to write some more chapters before school starts then try to update when I can!

(Bench Trio Apartment)

Things at the house between Tommy and his best friends/roommates have been tense.  Tubbo kept checking his phone as if he was expecting a call of some sort.  At first, Tommy thought that it was a client that had hired Tubbo to make them something for the up-and-coming Robot Wars.   But the way Tubbo was acting it didn’t seem like that was it at all and there was no way that Tubbo would be this tense or worried about work.  So something clearly was bugging Tubbo but every time Tommy brought it up, it was met with a flimsy excuse or another until Tommy dropped the subject altogether.

Ranboo wasn’t doing much better.  Ranboo kept up with the news more often than he usually did.  Normally, Ranboo would just turn on the news station to see what the weather was going to be like or just catch the morning show that he loved so much.

But recently Tommy noticed that Ranboo has not only been keeping an eye on the news channels but also any sightings relating to the Syndicate.  Including the app that was preloaded on every phone on the Heroes & Villains Alert.  It was strange, Ranboo never showed a huge amount of interest in the Heroes and Villains before.  So why the sudden change?

It had been over a month since Tommy healed Siren and Tommy gave them his number.  So far nothing.  No phone calls, no text messages, nothing.  Tommy allowed himself to relax after about a week of silence.  He still had a lot of fun at the Café with Wilbur and occasionally Techno would come in too.  Tommy loved to banter with Wilbur and Wilbur had no problem in talking with Tommy about anything and everything.  Tommy still smiled when he remembered their encounters.  It was special to him.

As Tommy went through his daily routine of getting ready for the day during this late morning.  Tommy decided to head down and check the mail.  Junk mail, junk mail, a letter for Tubbo, junk mail.  A new restaurant called Vulpes just opened up and was having its grand opening.  Junk mail, a letter for Ranboo from work, a letter to Tommy from work, bill, bill, rent’s due soon, a catalog and magazine for Tubbo.

Tommy didn’t really pay much attention to the mail as he sorted it.  When he was done he just took his letter from work and began to read it and a smile appeared on his face.  Tommy would be eligible for benefits here soon!  Great!  He could easily sign up for Health Insurance and will really help them out in the long run! Checking his watch, Tommy saw that he had some time to grab a quick lunch before he had to head out.

(Bad’s Café)

The Café was buzzing with people!  People came to get their coffees straight from work, and the evening crew got their caffeine before heading out.  School kids came in to hang out with their friends before school started in about a month.  College and Tech stunts piling in and getting their favorite snacks before heading off and grabbing their dorm rooms.  Tommy honestly didn’t mind it.  He loved the busy rush between afternoon and evening.  It made the time go by faster and if he was lucky.  Tommy would be able to get out a bit early.

The mad rush soon died down, and Tommy was finally able to breathe for a bit and have a little fun bantering with Wilbur.  Right now, he was currently in a debate with Wilbur about, believe it or not, sand.  Sand!

“Oh, my Primes!  Wilbur!  You eat sand?!”  Tommy exclaimed, hoping he heard the brunette wrong.

“What’s wrong with sand?  It’s crunching, it’s nice, it’s good.”  Wilbur explained like he was talking about the weather and not eating sand.

The two went back and forth for a while on this topic before the doorbell chimed again and in walked a solemn-looking Tubbo and a concerned-looking Ranboo.  Tommy stopped his banter with Wilbur when the two walked in to give a heartfelt greeting and was suddenly concerned when he saw the look on Tubbo.  Tubbo and Ranboo grabbed a seat at a nearby corner table and Tommy quickly excused himself to see what was up with his two roommates.

Tubbo and Ranboo rarely came to the Café when Tommy was working.  They stopped by every now and then and Tommy had no problem with it.  What concerned Tommy though was just how down Tubbo looked when the two came in.  Tommy walked over to the two with drinks in hand.  Tommy knew their orders by heart and Tubbo looked like he could use a pick-me-up.

“What’s wrong Tubbo?”  Tommy asked when he came over and set the drinks on the table.

“Take a look,” Tubbo said, gesturing to the letter on the table.

Uh oh.  Did Tubbo get rejected from one of the Tech Schools he applied to?  Tommy hoped not but the chances are that that’s probably why Tubbo’s so bummed.  Tommy picked up the letter and began reading it.

“ Dear Mr. Tubbo Underscore,

We appreciate you applying with us here at Esempi Tech School.  And would like to congratulate you on getting in. ”

Tommy read the first line and practically threw himself at his friend.

“Tubbo!  You got in!”

“Keep reading Tommy, it gets worse.”

Confused, Tommy continued.

“ We looked over your application and you requested financial coverage. We would like to inform you although you did not qualify for the full scholarship. You have been approved for a partial scholarship.  If you can cover the rest of the tuition we will be seeing you this fall! ”

The rest of the letter talks about sign-in dates, orientation, dorm rooms, and how everything you needed, including a food budget for groceries and/or lunch specials would be provided.  Along with all the materials including textbooks and the materials that would be used in the labs.  Then Tommy saw the bill that they had to pay and understood why Tubbo was so stressed.

Five thousand dollars.  That’s the part that they had to pay.  Tubbo was able to get a particle scholarship and all that was owed was five thousand dollars.  To some that wouldn’t be a problem but for someone like them?

“Tubbo,” Tommy said after a few minutes of reading the letter.  “You’re going.”

“But Tommy!”  Tubbo tried to protest.  “Five thousand dollars?!  You might as well make it fifty thousand dollars!  There’s no way we can afford that!  Let alone find a way to pay for it!”

“Tubbo,” Tommy grabbed Tubbo’s hands making the brunet look at him.  “You’re going!  You’ve been dreaming of going to this school since you were thirteen.  You’ve been applying and trying to get into Esempi Tech School for the last two years, Tubbo.  You’re going!”

“H-how?  We can barely afford, spending money for Birthdays and Holidays as it is.  How are we going to afford something that’s three months' rent!”

“Tubbo, you’re worth it.  We’re going to find a way, trust me.  You’re going!  This has been your dream, Boss Man.  I’m not going to let you throw it away.”

Tubbo gave a small smile.  Hey, Tommy will take that as a win.  Tommy had to head back and return to work now that a few more customers started to come in.  Tubbo and Ranboo finished up their drinks before they went back to their apartment.  Tommy looked around the Café and he didn’t see Wilbur anywhere.  Huh, that’s strange where did Wilbur disappear to?  Shrugging his shoulders thinking that Wilbur probably ducked out when he was busy with Tubbo and Ranboo and headed back behind the counter.

It was an hour left before closing and Tommy was starting his closing routine a bit earlier than usual seeing as how slow they were.  Tommy kept going back to the conversation before with Tubbo and Ranboo.  How were they going to afford that?  Tubbo has been trying to get into the Esempi Tech School for over two years now.  Working on his application, on his resume, and his portfolio.  Tubbo even sent in some How To Videos showing how he built some of the Robots he got commissioned for.  And some gadgets too.

Ever since Tommy met Tubbo, he had been planning on going to the Esempi Tech School and then being the Lab Assistant to the Warden.  Tubbo can try to hide it all he wants, but Tommy can still tell that Tubbo is still a big fan of the Warden.  Tubbo’s opinion of the Heroes might have changed over the years. But that gleam in Tubbo’s eyes when he gets started on some contraption that Tommy couldn’t even pretend to follow along.

Yeah, Tommy was going to make sure that Tubbo got into his dream school so he can get his dream job.  Now the question was, how?  How was Tommy going to find the money to help pay for Tubbo’s tuition?  The answer came to Tommy when he took his phone out and was about to open up his Spotify App.

Tommy completely forgot that he had it on the L’Manburg News when he was scrolling through the free apps.  There on the front page was the most recent report of a Villain sighting.  Erinyes.  Tommy saved Erinyes and gave Orcus and Siren his number if they ever needed a Healer.

The Syndicate said that they owed Tommy two favors and Orcus did say they could offer him protection and money.   Money that Tommy could use to pay for Tubbo’s tuition.  Money that Tommy could use to help get a better apartment for the three of them and to pay for Tubbo’s tuition!

Now, the question was, how did Tommy get a message to the Syndicate about wanting to cash in that favor or at least possibly talk about being their Healer?

so theres this fic right, tommyinnits a healer and he heals like the sbi and stuff and he also heals like other vigilantes and js like everyone and he heals purpled (and im pretty sure he throws out a couch cause he bled too much) whos in the mafia (he’s also called a husk because he has no powers, and this world has those favors like do smth or help someone and you get a favour) and he gives him a coin and at the place where tommy works someone (hannah i think? could be wrong..) goes to pick him up and has him show the coin for like mafia reasons or smth and so she takes him to punz because yeah

uh im pretty sure at one point techno had tommy start telling people it was against his religion to accept favors but yeah ive been looking everywhere for this fic

With respect to the tommy power thing, I think it's really interesting how it shows tommy doesn't really fit into a box like so many of the others. Even dream sapnap and George had their set powers when they were written into these aus. But tommy doesn't really have a defined skin. He's really only himself

And I think it's so interesting how that ties into c and cc

I mean, when you think of cc tommy, you think of red and white baseball tees and yelling and laughter. You think of his weird puppet and his scuffed apperantment and his blogs. You think of his random streams and millions of projects he's completed and his enthusiasm and his friends and minecraft. He isn't really known for any one thing in particular.

And when you think of cc tommy, you think of exile and how he was wilbur's right hand man, how dream feared him and how he has connections everywhere. You think of him winning and losing and being intertwined in just about anyone's stories. But throughout all of this, his character shifted and evolved the most out of anyone's.

Memory loss, insanity, control, anarchy, nukes. I bet you you can figure out who all of these words belong too, but the only word you can use for tommy is discs. Except it was never only about the discs, it was what the discs represented so a better word is loyalty.

But with the words I used earlier, they all either refer to one arc or can be used as a power. But loyalty doesn't span any one particular arc, nor doesn't call for a power.

In a way, tommy isn't any one thing, in any form. He is everything.

He's a jack of all trades and someone who just does things cause why not.

I used to be part of a pretty huge SBI server and something that was brought up a few times was how easy tommy was to write. How you didn't have to nail his mannerisms for him to read as quintessentially tommyinnit. There was one person who was a huge inniter said that anyone who said that didn't know how to write tommy but they're wrong.

Tommy as a person is incredibly creative and has never had a set way he does things. He isn't ever tied down to one thing and is successful everytime he tries to branch out and that was read off in fics well before he started branching out.

The assigned power of healing came around out of convenience, not out of tommy being known for first aid or anything else that would traditionally assign him as the healer. Ponk was usually the other assigned healer but there's some cannon reasons for that.

You made me think on this and looking back it really interesting all of this.

I speak as an ex-sbi writer too, it was really hard to make tommy be a particular thing cause nothing ever quite fit. I wrote some powered aus myself and figuring him out was hard.

Hopefully this made some sense I feel like it was all over the place. Honestly it was supposed to be quick thing about Tommy's powers and then I was gonna let my Ranboo haterism loose lmao

i see i see !! awesome i think :0 i love the different fan interpretations regarding powers, i think it's one of the only things i like the most about superheroe AUs. kinda boring when they become the norm tho !

nothing else to say, solid analysis :0 love that thing about cTommy being a lot (specially loyalty) but i do think —and well these are just my thoughts on the matter from a few years back now— that's a bit of where the projection comes in, isn't it? believing this character holds multitudes when there's actually something you see of yourself in them and you build from that. idk, tho! i just think tommy is very solid and actually i wouldn't necesarily use the word loyalty, maybe more like resilence, but again i wouldn't really know

the warrior, the healer, and the blesser

One, a healer who was blessed with healing through his musical talent. This 16-year-old is seen as the comfort of the village, someone to rely on when the injured come along. He has never denied a request but has never sung to a person, only strumming his guitar and rarely humming a tune.

The other, is a young blesser. No older than 10, the tiny blond has been blessing ever since the village figured his abilities out. Sometime around 5 years old is what memories entail. A bright blond with blue eyes just screamed the aura of something special, and they were right. He was one of the most special in the world, and he was used for it

The last, a warrior, one cursed with the pain of losing control and uncontrollable bloodlust. Rumors speak of him shutting away to a cabin in the woods where no one can find him, even by his long lost best friend.

This is how these three come together.

Hello! May I hand u my healer!Tommy au??

-Tommy had passed most of all his life training to be a hero just like his brothers and father, this ones being the owners of one of the biggest agency of heroes in the country

-In his family, everyone manifested their abilities as soon they turned 15

-His father, Phil or known as “Philza”, got this big gorgeous black wings in his back as soon as he hit that age

-His first older brother, Technoblade or “The Blade” presented this inhuman strength and was able to manifest a huge blade in his hands whenever he wanted

-His other older brother Wilbur or known as “Mockingbird”, noticed that he could suddenly use this tone of voice that would force anyone around to copy whatever he said

-Being said that, Tommy was nothing but excited to know what kind of sick ability he would get as soon as he turned 15

-but much to his surprise, nothing happened

-well, not until the next day after his birthday, when Wilbur accidentally tripped and fell down the stairs of their house and somehow despite being this huge hero, hit his head really hard to the point it started bleeding

-Tommy grabbed onto Wilbur’s face gently, trying to calm him down as his father called an ambulance and suddenly, the pain faded away along with the blood

-and Tommy’s eyes looked strangely brighter than before, like shining stones

TOMMY: so.. you are telling me that, I am a healer?

WILBUR, PHIL & TECHNO, nodding enthusiastically:

TOMMY, tearing up: THATS SO FUCKING SHIT!

-Tommy didn’t liked his power, not even one bit, so he trained even harder to make up for the fact of not having a “cool ability”

-he got guns. two silver guns which later Tommy painted red with a graffiti paint can he stole from a guy on the streets

-anyways, he didn’t gave up on his dream of being a hero, actually, he decided to become a vigilante until he got his license

-moving on, Tommy is constantly sneaking into Wilbur’s missions even tho he isn’t allowed in, getting sometimes even kidnapped by the villains themselves as a hostage

-Techno always makes sure to make them regret it deeply to the point that most of the time, if a vandal sees Tommy wandering around, they’ll stay as far away as they can

-Tommy thinks it’s because he is very intimidating, he really isn’t

-Eventually, Wilbur and Techno let Tommy hang around in the hero agency where the “big” heroes talk about plans and shit

-it quickly backfires

WILBUR, grabbing a whiteboard: as I was saying, we should talk about the patrol schedules, as you see here-

Everyone there, chuckling:

WILBUR, looking at the whiteboard, finding a doodle of Tommy with the header “SUCK IT WIL” instead of the schedule: ...

-Tommy always finds a way to get into Wilbur’s or Techno’s nerves, interrupting their meetings, stealing their shit, sometimes even hiding their hero suits

-but he also helps a lot at the station, whenever someone gets badly injured in battle they get send back at the station so Tommy can cure em

-Tommy pretends he finds that job annoying, but he kinda feels great whenever he fixes a broken leg or a very bad burn that could have been problematic

-he also helps a lot with the interns! Also known as the “in-training heroes”

-the in-training heroes are people who are very close to getting their hero license but wish to know how’s the career actually like! So they train with actual heroes and act somewhat like their sidekicks

-And, that’s how Tommy meets Tubbo and Ranboo, two guys who get chosen to be Wilbur’s interns for a couple of months

-at first Tommy messes with them in purpose just to piss them off but he ends up getting attached to the two boys

TOMMY, entering the station: Big man is here!

WILBUR, putting down his paper work: oh hi Tommy! Come here! Give your brother a hu-

TOMMY, walking just past by Wilbur: Tubso! Ranboob! Wanna go get some milkshakes? :D

WILBUR: ...betrayal >:(

-Wilbur gets kinda jealous of them, which ends up on a stupid battle for Tommy’s attention

-Oh! by the way, Tubbo and Ranboo also get attached to Tommy much to their dismay

-why a dismay? They kinda are there to kill Wilbur, Techno and Tommy

-yep! Villain bee duo! They were infiltrated into the station as two interns and aspiring heroes, but they are actually just there to spy on em and kill the three brothers

-the plan backfires, they are kinda attached to Tommy now

TUBBO, in the meeting with all his gangster mates: so, problem here

Everyone: ???

TUBBO, erasing Tommy’s name off the “to-murder” list: we aren’t doing this anymore

RANBOO, nodding while holding onto one of the sweaters Tommy knitted for him: we are attached now

-The group wasn’t very pleased but out of fear of Tubbo and Ranboo, they said nothing, deciding to continue with the murder plan just behind Tubbos and Ranboo’s back

-and that kinda ends up with everyone going for Tommy in the missions, attempting to kidnap him, to shot him, and of course murder him

-so, Tubbo and Ranboo are always behind Tommy in the missions, keeping a close eye on him

-Tommy just thinks they are clingy, like his brothers or dad

Extra stuff:

-Tommys power drains a lot of energy out of him, so he has to constantly eat or drink things with lots of sugar before missions so he doesn’t end up passing out after healing two or three people

-He used to drink lots of coke cans but Phil got very concerned for Tommy’s kidneys so he exchanged that with sweet apples, so Tommy always has to bring a backpack with apples to the missions

-If he abuses his ability too much and doesn’t “regen” with the apples he will end up passing out! Example: (healing 5 persons with no regen = passing out for two hours) (10 = a whole day) (40 = a whole week)

-one time, after a huge attack with bombs, Tommy healed about 70 people in the accident and ended up passing out for almost two weeks straight

-the whole family (and Tubbo & Ranboo) got so scared that they didn’t let Tommy use his ability for at least a month after

-Ranboos ability consists on teleporting and inhuman force (apart from being able to manifest a huge axe into his hands whenever he wants to)

-meanwhile Tubbo’s ability consists on being able to manifest bombs with his hands (tho he likes to call them “nukes”)

Tommy is pretty normal. Basic level healing at most, barely even useful in a hospital setting unless he’s gonna be sitting with the patient for a long ass time. A little bit of temperature fuckery, but that’s about it.

He’s got Tubbo as his roommate, who’s power is growing plants. It’s just a lot stronger than Tommy’s. He could probably turn a sapling into a 15 ft tree in a couple minutes if he tried.

Near their little rental home, 3 villains walk into a bar. The first orders 6 broken ribs, the second orders a concussion and blindness, and the third orders two broken legs. A true recipe for disaster.

They’re lucky enough however, when Tubbo and Tommy stumble upon their bodies and they both decide that the week could do with some chaos.

Tommy Innit's Secret Clinic Chapter 8:  Michael’s Birthday

Summary: The Bench Trio celebrate Michael’s Birthday!

A/N: So some fluff here! Also this chapter does have some background with Wilbur and Techno. Their backgrounds were inspired by Tommy's Ultra-Important Keychain by SeriouslyCalamitous

Also will tag the chapters with Trigger Warnings. Just to be safe.

(Bad’s Café)

Tommy couldn’t keep the grin that was plastered on his face off.  He was excited about today!  It was Michael’s Birthday today and the little trouble maker was turning eleven today.  Tommy was at Bad’s Café picking up the two dozen muffins that Bad insisted on giving Tommy to take to the party.

“Tell little trouble maker Muffin Head, Happy Birthday for me!”

“Will do Bad!”

“Tommy!”  Wilbur called out as he walked into the Café.

“Wilbur!  How are you doing?”  Tommy asked.

“I’m doing good.  I came by to see if you were working today.  I’m guessing that you’re not working today though.”  Wilbur gestured to the muffins in Tommy’s hand.  Then he noticed a present as well.  “What’s the special occasion?”

“Huh, oh!  It’s Michael’s birthday today!”  Tommy answered.  “Michael’s a kid that I sometimes watch on the side for Ms. Pinkett.”

“That’s cool.  Give me a minute and I’ll walk with you,” Wilbur offered.

Tommy was about to protest, but Wilbur had already ordered his coffee to go and paid for it.  A few minutes later, Wilbur was right by Tommy’s side and gestured for them to get going.

“So, how did you become a part time babysitter for Michael?”  Wilbur asked with a teasing tone and soft smile.

“Ms. Pinkett used to be my Foster Parent before me and my roommates got out of the system.  She was one of the “Good Ones” I guess you can say.  The Foster System sent us to a Group Home for us “Problem Kids.”  It actually turned out to be a good thing though.  She really helped out a lot.  But we just   .   .   .   couldn’t stay.  She understood and even helped us get out.”

Tommy went quiet as memories came back.  Ms. Pinkett was literally one of the “Good Ones” in the Foster System.  Years of going from home to home, so many rules broken and too many lies being told to him time and time again.  It got to the point that Tommy literally thought that there was something wrong with him for why no one wanted him.  So many different homes, schools, and a Social Worker who literally just seemed like they were too tired to care.  Yeah, Tommy couldn’t have been more grateful for Ms. Pinkett!

But when the “Incident” as Tommy refers to it happened.  It was when Tommy was younger and was very naïve of the world.  Seeing someone slumped over bleeding in an alleyway on his way from school one day.  Tommy, not even thinking about it, went over to the stranger and healed him.  Some time later, Tommy nearly got kidnapped because of his healing powers.  

Tommy couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if Ms. Pinkett hadn’t come barreling down the street and got them to her brother’s house!  She was so furious with the Police when they just wrote it off as a “Prank.”  It was at that point that Ms. Pinkett had helped teach Tommy about his powers and the dangers of having said powers.

Tommy looked over at Wilbur when he came back to reality from Memory Lane.  He was expecting the “Pity Looks” and the “Sympathetic Frown” because that’s what Tommy mostly got from people when they learned that he was a Foster Child.  Every now and then you come across the “Good Samaritans” that literally only saw you as a gig for their blog or a “Charity Case” Opportunity to get brownie points from their viewers.

Tommy, already mentally preparing himself for the “I’m sorry to hear that Toms.”  But when Tommy looked over at Wilbur, he was surprised.  None of that came, as a matter of fact, Wilbur, himself looked so deep in thought, like he went down Memory Lane as well.

“Kinda sounds like me and Tech before Phil adopted us.”  Wilbur said after a few minutes of silence.  Tommy’s jaw hit the floor.  Wilbur?  Wilbur and Techno were in the Foster System?

“Phil was a Foster Parent for a while before his wife died.  Techno was placed with Phil because, well, he was a “Problem Child” and no one wanted to deal with a Piglin Brute Hybrid.  I came along a little later.  Phil found me on the streets after I ran away from home.”

“Why did you run away from home?  Was it that bad?”  Tommy asked.  Tommy just couldn’t fathom why you would run away from having parents, a home, people who cared about you?

“Yeah it was.  My parents only really cared about their reputation, what others might think of them.  It was all about money and their perfect image and if you didn’t fit into that perfect image.  Then they just tried to sweep it under the rug or tried to fix it.  When I came into my Hybrid features, they literally tried to get me to hide it or suppress it.  They couldn’t stand having a *cough* Mer Hybrid as a son.  I ran away when I was about ten?  Eleven?  I think?  Phil found me six months later and took me in.  A few years later Phil officially adopted us.”

Tommy couldn’t help the stab of jealousy that shot through his chest.  That was every Foster Kids’ dream.  To finally find a family that will love you because of all of your flaws and not expect a perfect child to be molded into.  But he also felt a bit of sympathy for Wilbur.  He couldn’t imagine what it must be like to have parents that cared more about money and what people thought about them than their own child?

“I had to officially and legally disown my own parents.  One so Phil could adopt me and two because the last thing I wanted was to have my parents see that I ‘made it’ and then decide they want their son back.”  Wilbur explained.

Tommy nodded in understanding.  He heard and read countless stories of families neglecting and/or abandoning family members.  Only to come back in their lives full of empty promises and praises all because their kid had “made it big.”

“I work for Phil and he owns a Studio Company.  I’m in charge of the Music Department.  Techno’s the Social Media Manager.  Phil’s in charge of looking over everything.  We have other people that help out as well.  I’m also trying to get my own music out there.”

“Wait, do you sing, Wilbur?”

Wilbur started to flush at that.  “I tinker around.  I play guitar and I sing.  I write my own songs as well.”

“You’re going to have to show me sometime.”  Tommy smiled imagining what Wilbur’s singing voice would sound like.

“Sure, you can stop by my place sometime and I’ll sing for you!  Also, I think we’re near where you live.”  Wilbur gestured to Tommy’s apartment complex.

“Yep, we’re here.”  Tommy turned to the rundown, and crumbling building in front of them.  

Wilbur made a face at the state of Tommy’s apartment complex and the cracking concrete steps.  But didn’t say anything about it.  Tommy was truly grateful for that.  Tommy knew that their living conditions weren’t ideal and it would be nice to live in a place where the carpets weren’t stained with something that suspiciously looks like mold or blood.   Or to have vents that didn’t have a strange smell to it.  Or to have a building that didn’t have a fresh coat of paint to cover up some kind of “Crime Scene.”

But unfortunately, they can’t.  At least not yet.  Ranboo should be getting a raise here soon and he is without a doubt one the best and youngest Assistant Managers the Pet Store ever has!  And if Tubbo got accepted into one of L’Manburg’s Tech Schools.  Then there was a sure chance that Tubbo could get a really decent paying job.  Tommy’s content at working at Bad’s.  Tommy really didn’t have any future plans for himself other than getting the hell out of the Foster System and try to forget about that day.

“I’ll see you later Tommy?”  Wilbur asked, bringing Tommy out of his tumbling thoughts.

“Yeah, Wil.  I’ll see you tomorrow at the Café!”  Tommy called after his friend and headed up the steps and towards the elevator to his and his friends apartment.

(Ms. Pinkett’s House)

One bus ride and a five block walk later, Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo arrive at the party a little bit late but not by much.

“Tommy!  Ranboo!  Tubbo!  It’s so good to see you guys!”  Ms. Pinkett gives each of them a side hug and beaming smile.  “Thanks for coming guys!  Michael’s been super excited to see you!”

“We’re doing good Ms. Pinkett and thanks for inviting us!”  Tommy said.

“Tommy for the last time, it’s Scarlet!  I might not be your Foster Parent anymore but you still babysit -”

“I’m not a baby, Mom!  I don’t need a sitter!”

“But you still ‘supervise’ Michael and his friends from time to time.”  Ms. Pinkett - Scarlet said.

Tommy used to babysit Michael when the three of them lived together.  When Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo managed to get out of the Foster System and get their own place.  Tommy still “Supervised” Michael and his friends from time to time for Scarlet.  After what almost happened to Tommy and Scarlet nearly getting mugged herself.  Scarlet literally has been asking Tommy when she was unable to get home in time to watch her son for her.  It’s usually only a few hours.  And it never really interfered with Tommy’s schedule at Bad’s.  Scarlet couldn’t have been more grateful for Tommy’s help and offered to pay him for when he “Supervised.”

The trio walked into Scarlet’s one story house and placed the presents on the dining table and headed into the living room.  Tommy instantly recognized Ant (Antonio), an Ant Hybrid and Shroud, a Spider Hybrid, two of Michael’s best friends that he had known since Kindergarten.  Tommy also recognized a few other people that Scarlet works with at the Starlight Plaza and their kids.  And Tommy of course recognized Karen and her two trouble-making kids.  Luckily, for everyone else, there were plenty of adult chaperons to make sure that Karen’s entitled kids don’t cause a scene.

The party was in full swing, with plenty of games, food, cutting the cake and serving ice cream.  Michael sat down on the couch opening up his presents and thanking everyone.  Michael got a few new board games that Tommy had feeling would be played by Michael and his two friends the minute the party was done.  A couple of stuffed animals that he really enjoyed (Michael loved the chicken plushy that Tommy made him).  He also enjoyed the Heroes vs Villains video game that Tubbo got him.  Ranboo got him a gold plated hair clip for when he wants to braid his hair.

Unfortunately, the trio couldn’t stay for long because they had to make sure that they made it to the bus stop in time.  After giving Michael a final hug and promise to stop by some time, the trio headed.  That early evening, Tommy, Ranboo and Tubbo, rode the bus home with laughter in their ears and smiles on their faces.

Little did they know their world would come crashing down around them.

Emerald Pacifier Team - Elemental Powers (PTAoDPM/KHR AU,  can also be seen as Avatar/Elemental AU)

Obviously we’re going with the Four Elements Assemble concept

Philza - Air

An obvious choice for an element. I love the concept of Philza having wings (I honestly don’t know where or when it started, but I’m rolling with it), thus he’s the closest with the sky and air. It’s also has a ‘freedom’ meaning in them as Philza travels all over the world without any boundaries (Hardcore series).

Technoblade - Earth

Among the cast, Technoblade has the least change (at least from my brief observation). He has his own believe and stick to it, whether it’s about conquering the whole Earth, destroying government, or in retirement. Strong as the earth, you can say.

Wilbur Soot - Water

This is a toss up with fire, but I ended up giving Wilbur the element of water. But you can see it like this: just like fire, water can be unpredictable, One time it can be calm like the lake, another time it can be terrifying like a tsunami. Wilbur has his own rise and fall, like a wave, especially during Pogtopia era where he always sits of the edge, never know when the wave will hit hard.

TommyInnit - Fire

This should be an obvious choice from the start. Fire is considered as a dangerous element that can leads to destruction. Tommy is known for starting troubles which might lead to a war. His personality is like a firework, loud but fun. Even at his lowest point, you can’t blow out his fire.

basically tommyinnit is a healer and he begins healing like villians and vigilantes and at one point he heals purpled who is called a husk for being powerless, im pretty sure purpled bleeds all over his couch which causes him to throw it out, purpled gives tommy a coin and as tommy’s working one day one of purples’s workers, (hannahxxrose i believe) comes to pick him up so tommy shows her the coin cause it’s a symbol of their mafia or something and she takes him to punz, purpled’s brother. (techno wouldn’t let tommy go alone because he didn’t trust them with tommy so he came along too) punz wanted to know what tommy wanted as his favor since in this au if you do something for someone you would end up owing them a favor, however per techno’s suggestion tommy told them it was against his religion

Tommy went out the back and was about to lock up when he noticed someone passed out in the back alley. There lying face down was none other than Erinyes with a fatal head wound. Tommy lifted Erinyes and dragged him to the back of the Café. * Ranboo and Tubbo's joy was short-lived when they exited the elevator to head down the hall to their apartment. When out stepped none other than Siren and Orcus from their apartment door. * “You - you think that the Syndicate found out about Tommy?” No, no, no! This - this can’t be happening! Not again! “I don’t know! We know we saw Orcus and Siren leave our apartment and now Tommy’s showing signs of using his healing powers. “I hate to say this Boo but I think we’re going to need some serious help if the Syndicate’s involved.” Ranboo looked at Tubbo with a serious look. “Good thing we know someone who can help then.”
