hey heraa, i would REALLYYY appreciate if you helped me out on this one question that has been killing me rn (it’s in bold on the bottom just incase u want to skip the tangent)

honestly, if i succeed in fulfilling myself that you replied, it'll raise my faith a little bit when/if I see that you replied.

I've been on this journey for the longest time I'm talking divineangelbee, planet, cine, bibi, dreamgrlsworld, daphne, the void obsession, the alpha waves, the mindless or just feeling while affirming, the self and void concept challenges for 2 weeks, and now applying states after edward art and neville and having things click with aphroditeapprentice and blushydior etc ; applying for months. But guess what idk what is happening and what's holding me back!

i know that if i was in the state, I obviously wouldn't be sending this message but since it doesn't matter what I do in the 3D and my human self wants to ask for help, I will ask for guidance.

I've even fulfilling myself, returning to the wish fulfilled whenever I think of my desire, I prioritize the inner man over getting physical results but you know, if someone was doing it right, it would reflected by now right? of course it would because it's the law.

I don't why it hasn't done so yet and l'm slowly and at the same time very quickly losing my faith because it's been like what, 2/3 years since I found out about the law from tumblr? I KNOW I'm meant to be living my dream life in a little cottage in Europe or big mansion in LA, I KNOW I was meant to succeed and live a life of my dreams because I deal with hard things in my life, I AM! MEANT TO SUCCEED. but what am I doing wrong if it's been months of fulfilling myself that it should've been my dominant state already? I feel good and every time I doubt, I know and tell myself that I ALREADY experience my desire in imagination and it HAS to reflect?

I'm going to try my best to answer this without further confusing you so sit tight and in the case that I do bring forward any confusion, do let me know.

In a nutshell, the point of manifesting (or moreso the purpose of life itself) is to appease hunger. That is, to free yourself from the feeling of desire (wanting something) by giving it to yourself whether it's money, the mansion, the dream life, appearance, I could go on and on because whatever you want to acquire is possible of being acquired (because imagination is limitless). If you know the law, you know imagination creates reality so imagination will always be your workshop and that is essentially how you change self (I AM).

Imagination isn't separate from reality because imagination is reality itself. Man's greatest downfall has been to separate the two as completely independent when that could not be further from the truth. When you turn to imagination and you use it to think about what it would feel like to have the face card and the mansion and the dream life, you are present in that moment to the point where it feels like a real experience. If you allow yourself to bask in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, it's as real of an experience as you reading this very post. Neville has previously discussed procuring the wish fulfilled in a way as if you are traveling through time to the end and witnessing the outcome firsthand, then you make your way back to the present and trust that it will unfold as you experienced. It's like when you watch a film you've previously watched and you already know what the ending is, you don't stop to think what could happen, you already know what will because you saw it yourself.

If time is a relevant concern for you and you're looking around to see if it's there, I'm afraid to say you haven't fully yielded to it. You simply thought of it and not from it. If you experienced it and knew that it was done, you would be appeased from hunger and you wouldn't desire it anymore. How could you want something you already have? Time is an obstacle that is standing in between you and the state of consciousness that asserts you as being someone who has the desire in question already in their possession. When you nail yourself to that state and I mean you fully yield yourself to it to the point where you don't feel separate from it anymore, the feeling of desire will vanish. You don't care about time, you don't care about the senses, nothing moves you. Why would it if you know it's yours? (Hint: this is the Sabbath)

I constantly receive so, so many "I did all of this, why hasn't it happened?" questions and I believe you when you say you really gave it your entire heart, but you should sit and ask yourself genuinely if you actually focused more on the thing itself versus quenching the desire you have for it.

I'm here once again to swear by the State Akin To Sleep and why I love it so much. I won't repeat the process since I went into it quite extensively so I highly suggest you read the post.

When I started understanding the SATS through the idea of it as "praying", it made so much more sense to me. You're not visualizing to get, you're visualizing to feel its reality so desire vanishes. If you use imagination to feel its reality (believe that you have received it), the 3D will follow and it shall materialize. This is one of the reasons why I love the state akin to sleep so much. It's such a simple and easy way to define the end and identify yourself with it.

When I use the SATS, I let myself sit with the wish fulfilled by thinking of what the end would look like, what would I hear, who would I be with, what would I see, etc. and I focus on it until I'm consumed by the feeling and acceptance of it and then bring myself back. I trust that my prayer has been answered because I felt the reality of it, so that must mean it's already mine. If for some reason I would feel doubtful or separate from that state of consciousness, I would simply induce the state again and focus on its reality. Do this as many times as you need to until you no longer feel compelled to because you're certain that your prayer has been heard (See: the Sabbath).

I highly encourage you to assess how you're going about manifesting and to use the State Akin To Sleep to catch the mood so you can nail yourself to it. You said it best yourself, you were meant to succeed and live the life of your dreams. Remember that failure is only an option if you let it be one. Don't give up, my love <3

Me, writing BSG fic? In the year 2023? Yeah, it wasn't on my bingo card either. But that's been a theme this year, and this weekend marks the 20th anniversary of BSG's premiere, and...here we are. I have some feelings about this, which will go under the cut.

I joined Tumblr after the heyday of the BSG fandom, so many of you didn't know me during that time (others haven't gotten rid of me since). It was a long time ago! The last time I wrote Laura Roslin fic was in 2011. BSG was my last major fandom during the LiveJournal era, and after it came Doctor Who and the start of my Tumblr era, which has lasted much longer and been (mostly) a joy...

But nothing's ever been like BSG. The glory days of my time in that fandom are untouchable. No fandom, and very few other external factors, have impacted my life the way BSG did. If I hadn't begrudgingly watched this show that I was deeply skeptical about (I had never watched sci-fi and had no real interest, but a friend insisted) and loved it so much that I spent most of my free time talking about it with people on the internet...

I'd be a fundamentally different person. The trajectory of my life was altered with that first episode. And now, twenty years after it first aired and coming up on seventeen since I first watched it, there is virtually no part of my daily existence that isn't impacted by/the direct or indirect result of my decision to watch this show all those years ago.

This is because of the people, of course. The incredible cast that brought this show to life, and Mary McDonnell above all, who remains very dear to me in ways I never could have imagined way back when. Laura Roslin was and is one of the greatest characters ever created, and to this day remains my favorite of all time.

Much more, though, it's because of my friends.

Most of us haven't talked about BSG in years. It's not something that I even think about particularly often, not explicitly. It's foundational, not front and center. But BSG directly gave me so many of the people that matter most, and indirectly has led to so much more joy and chaos, and so many more people, through the ripples that are still making their way into my future.

I signed up for this challenge on a whim, thinking it would be fun to revisit BSG and Laura after all this time. Then life happened, aggressively, and finishing this ended up being much more challenging than I expected. I'm glad I did, though.

It's been a ride. I'm excited to see where it will take me next.

Before we start the detailed reading, here are two important things:

Wonder Woman x male civilian s/o

Diana has been dating s/o for a little over 2 years now.

She met him during a fight between the Justice League and Darkseid, s/o trying to save a child who was buried under some debris.

Diana was impressed with his selfless act and wanted to get to know him better after Darkseid was dealt with, her helping s/o successfully saving the child.

She learned that s/o worked at a coffee shop in Metropolis as a barista, and so she went there every day to get to know him.

S/o and Diana became infatuated with each other and soon started dating, her revealing to him that she’s Wonder Woman early on in the relationship as to not keep any secrets from him.

S/o is very supportive of his girlfriend’s heroics, but that doesn’t stop him from worrying about her.

He always kisses her goodbye before she goes on mission.

“I love you Diana, promise me you’ll be safe ok?”

“I love you too s/o, and I promise that I’ll be fine.”

When she’s not busy with Justice League stuff, Diana loves to spend as much time with s/o as she can.

Dinner dates and romantic nights together are quite common between the two.

S/o not being a hero means that Diana can be quite protective over him, almost motherly to an extent.

If he were to be injured in any way by a villain, Diana would go on a rampage.

“Hurting my s/o was a grave mistake. I won’t kill you, but I swear to Hera that you’ll pay for every scratch or bruise on his person.”

When the threat is ended, Diana would coddle s/o until his wounds heal.

“Don’t worry my love, I will take care of you as your injuries heal.”

Her mother Hippolyta is accepting of s/o and his relationship with her daughter, seeing how happy Diana is with him.

Diana doesn’t get jealous easily, but when someone flirts with or hits on her boyfriend, she can get a little peeved.

“Excuse me, I’m sorry to tell you this, but s/o is already in a relationship.”

She says calmly yet firmly to the girl/guy making a move on s/o.

When he/she leaves, she hugs s/o tightly while muttering one word under her breath:

She’ll never admit it, but Diana secretly tries to make s/o jealous by spending more and more time with Batman.

It doesn’t go as planned as s/o starts to believe that Diana doesn’t want to be with him anymore, causing her to feel really bad and apologize to her boyfriend profusely.

“Please forgive me my love, I went too far. I only wanted to make you jealous, not cause you to doubt our relationship. Believe me when I say that I only have eyes for you s/o, my heart goes to you and you alone.”

The two make up quickly and put the whole thing behind them (Diana still feels bad though).

After being together for so long, Diana decides that s/o is the person she wishes to spend the rest of her life with, so she begins to plan how she’s gonna propose to him.

She takes him to the place of their first date and gets down on one knee while pulling out a small box with a ring in it from her purse.

“S/o, being with you has been the greatest thing to ever happen to me since I first came to Man’s world. I truly believe that you and I have been chosen by the gods to be together, so would you make me the happiest woman in Man’s world and be my husband?”

S/o smiles and nods, pulling Diana into a warm embrace.

“Of course I’ll marry you Diana, I can’t imagine my life without you in it.”

Diana sheds a few happy tears, knowing she and her s/o have a lifetime of love and happiness ahead of them.

Battlestar Galactica (2004) - 4.19, 4.20, 4.21 Daybreak (Parts 1-3)

Galactica launches a rescue mission to retrieve Hera Agathon from the "colony", a heavily armed and defended Cylon base located near a black hole. They manage to rescue Hera and, in the end, the fleet finds a new planet to settle on, which they come to call Earth

1) I asked my dad for his opinion on the worst finale ever and he said this one "made him feel stabby" (and then elaborated that he felt like they took every mystery from the show and came up with the worst possible explanations for them)

2) To be fair, the series had started to go downhill before this, but the finale is what turned one of the greatest scifi shows ever into something forgettable. It's kind of hard to pinpoint what was the worst part. There's the reveal that they were looking for prehistoric Earth (our Earth) all along and all humans are descendants of a human/cylon baby. The reveal that a beloved main character was dead for the whole season and possibly an angel as they disappear without a trace. Then showing two other main characters somehow walking around modern day, talking about how they know God (with a capitol G). Also, somehow, Bob Dylan was a space angel/prophet. Go figure. The series was created by mormons and in no place is more evident than in this finale as it makes an odd left turn from scifi to theology.

IN DEFENSE: OKAY, alot of people dislike the Battlestar Galactica (2004) finale but I think while odd, is still a very good way of ending the series. The series throughout subtextually has a very blatant discussion of theology, The Humans have some pantheon that seems to be loosely analogous to Greco-Roman myth and the Cylons all follow one singular god, and even within the Cylon ranks they have debates and beliefs about if faith or logic is better. When Gaius Baltar tries to found a monotheistic religion, humans from across the ship(s) begin to enact violence on his followers. Gaius Baltar has a manifestation of one of the Human-like Cylons in his head throughout the entire series basically up until the end, Often referred to as "Head 6", (though for this I'll call her "Mind 6"), it's often believed that because this manifestation knows so much about things Gaius wouldn't that she is a neural clone of some sort implanted into Gaius, but we see later that this cannot be the case, as Caprica 6, the person Mind 6 is impersonating, is alive and well(-ish), and not only is she alive, but she's got a Mind Gaius who's been doing the same stuff to her. Mind 6 and Mind Gaius are revealed in the finale to be some sort of divine entities. They simply took the form of Gaius and Caprica 6. As far as the "Bob Dylan was a prophet" thing, it's implied by the finale and a few other plot points that Humanity and similar races are bound to repeat a few similar points in identifiable history, as Mind Gaius and Mind 6 look at the rise of research into Artificial Intelligence and one asks to the other if they believe that earth, our earth, will be the one the break the cycle. I don't know what to say about Starbuck though, that shit's wild to me still and I still don't get how to wrap my head around the implications of it.

Skins - 4.08 Everyone

As Emily, Naomi, Pandora, and Thomas make up, the gang become concerned for the absent Freddie and hold his birthday party in his absence. Cook, who has read Freddie's notebook which mention's Foster's obsession with Effy, follows the psychiatric worker home and breaks into his basement, where he discovers a bag containing Freddie's blood-stained clothes. Foster comes in and attacks him but, with a cry of "I'm Cook" the youngster hits him back with the baseball bat and avenges his friend's death.

A character getting randomly brutally killed in the previous episode is the real crime, but the fact that the finale barely acknowledged it and had no emotionally satisfying conclusion or follow-up for that is a capper on it

Summary: In the face of poor morale after the Battle of Yavin, Kanan remembers that every planet has some sort of holiday to bring hope at the coldest, darkest time of year and decides they need to celebrate all of them.

Calling their current location a base was an overly generous description. The Alliance hadn’t managed to establish anything close to the scale of Yavin IV since the evacuation. When the time came to rejoin the fight after Jacen’s birth, after an extensive argument with Kanan about whether that time had actually come, the first question proved to be where they were going to do that. The Alliance had scattered its forces across the Outer Rim so the Empire would have a harder time taking out everyone at once.

The obvious job for Hera was helping to train new combat pilots. Scarif and Yavin had left the whole Rebellion in tatters, but Starfighter Command had been hit hardest of all. She could make a much bigger difference rebuilding those numbers than she could as just a single combat pilot. The only group harder hit than the pilots was the leadership.

Any rush from destroying a planet killer had long since vanished by the time Hera was ready to get back to the fight. All that remained was the knowledge that the Empire was willing to use a planet killer and was out for revenge. The temporary encampment wasn’t giving anyone a sense of security.

But currently, Hera’s greatest morale concern was the fact that her son wouldn’t stop screaming. She paced the small room, bouncing him up and down. “Shh, shh, it’s okay.”

This is only roughly outlined, but effectively a short fluffy Ghost crew stays together AU where the kids are trying to plan how to convince Kanan and Hera to stop pretending they aren't a couple so Ezra can move into Kanan's room now that Kallus is joining them more. All from Kallus' perspective as they share stories and he gets to be included in new ridiculousness.

I love found family fluff, it's my greatest weakness!

When his siblings got out of Kronos’s stomach, for the first time in his life, Zeus didn’t feel alone.

The siblings got out of the stomach during the night so the next morning Zeus woke up to them screaming

They were running around and trying to get away from the sun’s rays. Zeus finally got them to calm down after showing them he was ok when the rays hit him.

While they were in their father’s stomach they didn’t have any clothes and didn’t know what they were

So just like when they saw the sun, when Zeus tried to get them to wear clothes they would run away from him, or in Hera, Demeter, and Poseidon’s case growl at him.

Hera and Demeter would play fight with each other all the time and by play fight I mean they would throw each other against trees, and beat the shit out of each other.

Hestia was their trainer and she was not kind to them while doing it

They had no knowledge of personal space

Demeter and Hestia had horrible trouble sleeping because Kronos would try to manipulate them to join him through dreams.

So they would stay up to avoid it.

The greatest and most tender moment of the siblings' relationship was when Zeus took them to see the sun rise for the first time.

During one of the big battles against Kronos Demeter got most of her spine clawed out by Kronos himself which is why she has a huge claw mark on her back.

But seeing her on the ground bleeding and screaming set the others off and they massicured the titans.

They only slept in each others arms

Hades and Demeter were really close back then and even had a small affair (Not really, but everyone thought they did)

Hestia was a monster back then 

She would ruthlessly beat Demeter to try to toughen her up, making Hera watch and to teach them how the real world works.

She did this because of two things, one because she didn’t know any other way to teach them

And two is she had so much pent up anger from her father betraying her that she used it as an outlet without even realizing she was taking her anger out on her sisters.

Poseidon and Hera, when they fought the titans they would basically play deadly pranks on them.

Hades didn’t spend much time around his siblings

He mostly stayed in the shade of trees or on the outskirts of the group.

The others, any chance they get, would drag Hades to come hangout with them.

They were compared to feral dogs by the titans

Chiron was found by Hestia during the war and his sibling fell in love with him when they first met.

When the war was finally over the sibling when’t to where they first met and spent the whole night bonding and talking about their future together

Sounds like he has flings every year or so, so I'd expect his number or significant annoyances to be in the hundreds. Must be his swiss cheese memory.

Wtf, no communication is working? We haven't even gotten to the disappearances yet (other than Rachel) and it already sounds like the apocalypse is settling in. Even Iris? Were she and Hermes captured or incapacitated somehow? Is Apollo going to have to save his brother?

"Then the disappearances started." Gods above, this is starting to sound like a horror movie. "First it was Cecil Markowitz from the Hermes cabin." NO NOT CECIL. No one saw him go, no sign of wanting to leave... Someone pulled a Hera, or he was abducted by clowns, or he noclipped out of existence into the Backrooms, or... idk. And two other campers are missing, too. This has very suddenly become a detective mystery novel and I like it.

"When the giants started to wake, I drew up a very clear Twenty-Point Plan of Action" And still Zeus chose to blame Apollo for the war? Must've been a really bad plan of action.

I found myself being at my best self concept area when I admitted that I can't manifest.

NOW LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT THAT MEANS.

People have a misconception of manifestation, that it's abt things showing up in ur reality that u want, when it not.

Many fail to manifest bc they look for proof in their 3d, but why do they do that?

Because they are looking for an answer.

Your 3d is kept alive by you bc u believe that it's your job for it to show up physically, when it's not.

You, as the outer man, need to admit that u can't do anything, u can only imagine and feel in ur imagination. You're carrying the responsibility of the 3d changing on your shoulders that leads u to spiral, bc you're not meant to do that.

If u want to start feeling safe in ur imagination to imagine, start admitting that this is ur reality, there is no one else but you. Just do this throughout your day as gentle reminders, and this will help ir desires get off the pedestal. That's what helped me.

I was always frustrated when I would imagine, I'd go in hungry and I'd leave the inner world even starving, I just didn't understand what ppl meant imagining is fun.

But when I admitted to myself that I, the outer man can do nothing, I felt a huge relief. I the outer man can't make things physically, i can't put things in place and fly anywhere I want, i'm limited.

However your inner man can do above and beyond. When u stop imaginingfor the 3d to change and u realize you can't do anything but reflect and feel, you will have a safe sense of freedom overcome you.

Yes it might take a bit to master but once u grasp what I'm saying, your mind will automatically help you and stop looking at the outer for proof.

But u might be asking me rn " Well what abt ppl that say they'll manifest physical results in 5sec and they do?"

That's bc they are also doing the same thing, they're assuming in their inner world, not eh outer. U want results in 5sec? Stop thinking abt getting results in 5sec then.

They assume fast results with their INNER MAN, they don't look at the outer man.

Realize this, u are doing yourself a disservice the moment u imagine for physical results and be the outer man, have fun within and admit that there's nothing u, as the outer one can do nothing.

Everything has to reflect, and it will. When u look at the 3d u are assuming sth is missing, and if u say sth is lacking than it is. There is only u in ur world, the only responsibility u have, and can have, is you.

This is coming from sb who's been trying to manifest since like 2018 up until now I only discovered loa a year ago. That's why I'm giving this advice bc if it's helping me than it will help u.

It was a $325 million dollar project that was intentionally smashed to smithereens in the interest of one day, saving humanity. The DART mission (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) launched in November 2021 on route to asteroid Dimorphos. Its mission was simple, to smash into Dimorphos to see if it may be possible to redirect it from its path. On impact, it created a trail of debris from micron to meter sized objects. A new paper analyses the debris field to predict where they might end up.  Asteroid Dimorphos orbits around its host asteroid, Didymos and together they form a binary asteroid system. Neither asteroid poses a threat to Earth but their gave a fabulous opportunity to test technology for defending Earth from potential impactors. On 11 October NASA announced that DART successfully altered the orbit of Dimorphos showing that the kinetic energy of a spacecraft could indeed alter the trajectory of a potential threat.  DART hit Dimorphos in an almost head on collision and the resulting ejecta plume travelled at approximately 2km/s. The plume had been observed by the Les Makes Observatory and with the Hubble Space Telescope. The debris contained material from dust sized particles to meteor and even boulder sized objects. Just before the impact, the CubeSat LICIACube was released from DART so that it could offer some long term monitoring of the debris field.  Observations that followed showed delicate structures within the ejecta with a diffuse cloud that quickly transformed into a cone shaped formation with a tail. That tail, just like the tail of a comet was then pushed away from the asteroid system by the solar radiation pressure. Using ground based imagery, the mass and velocity of the ejected particles was established.  The analysis of ejecta enabled modelling to be undertaken to estimate that approximately 3% of all ejected boulders would remain in orbit after 83 days (within the scope of the captured data). This estimation was in line with the pre-impact simulations over a 60 day period. By varying the parameters of the simulation they also revealed that 5% of 10cm sized particles escaping with a velocity of 0.12 and 0.18m/s would remain in orbit around the system after a 60 day period of time, similar again to the observations.  Perhaps the greatest concern though is the long term fate of the larger boulder sized ejecta. Taking integrations covering 800 and 1550 days following the impact, the results showed a gradual decline in the number of boulders bound to the asteroid system. The good news is that for the most part, the reduction was due to collisions with Didymos and Dimorphos themselves. In no simulations was there any suggestion that any of the ejecta would escape the double asteroid system.  What of the future, well to fully understand the results a follow up study is required. Hera is a European Space Agency mission slated to travel to Didymos and Dimorphos 5 years after the DART impact. Hera was a woman of grace and preciseness, she never knew fear throughout her entire reign as Queen of Mount Olympus but along with the greatest joy of her Little Lamb came a dreadful realization.

The realization that her Lamb would grow into a Ram.

And that day was today.

Hera power-walked down the royal halls of Olympus's Massive Temple with her light blue eyes darting from left to right as she passed adjacent hallways, trying to search for the indigo hair that matched her own. She was searching - searching for her Lost Lamb. A Lamb that wandered too far away from her, from her loving embrace.

He was there with Ares with a bow in his hand and a quiver of arrows on his back, looking up at Ares as if he was his teacher.

Hera watched as her son lifted the bow into an aiming position and removed an arrow from the quiver with his other hand before placing it and taking aim - he looked like a hunter.

'He...He won't hit it. He doesn't know how. I don't want him to know how." Hera thought as her son released his hold on the arrow and it went flying until it nailed in the dead center of the target's bull's eye.

Hera's breath caught in her throat - her son...her son was...he was growing. He was changing and if it continued...

"Well Done, [Y/N]!" Ares said as he reached down and ruffled the indigo hair of his little brother before giving a hearty laugh, "At this rate, you'll be a proud warrior; you might even be strong enough to join my army!" He praised.

Hera shuttered.

"That would be interesting, Big Brother." He smiled at the taller figure. Hera watched as the two of them talked but she was too stunned to hear what they were saying and was too distracted with her thoughts to see they were leaving to try more weapons.

'My Son... My Lamb... He is becoming...A Ram' Hera said in her mind as her fear became a reality.
