Despite the fact that creatures of his kind have no need to learn any types of martial arts because of how strong and fast they r from nature, he still practices Tai Chi as a hobby, as the way to express himself.

An old illustration of Brother Lun, I think I made this one in 2021(?), not sure. But I still like it, very much. Aside from the fact that I like the finished version, I rlly enjoyed working on it, the whole process was very educational in terms of value and lighting. Although I could do a better job with lineart and composition.

favorite thing about them: Definitely his appearance and talent, I was IMMEDIATELY drawn to him as my out of the gate favorite character I'm a SUCKER for androgynous morally dubious vaguely horror themed nerd. I could listen to him talk about ancient murder rituals for HOURS

least favorite thing about them: Honestly I wish he got to do his own creepy rituals a lot more. Like the seance was super cool but I feel like with so many rituals at his disposal they could have pushed the horror magic angle more with him. Make a good dichotomy with Himiko now that I'm thinking about it, the red mage vs the necromancer. Especially since ghosts are in fact canon to Danganronpa role because UDG was a weird game. Also the fact he was the reason they introduced "if two people die only the first blackened counts" rule and they NEVER did anything with it was SUCH A WASTE.

favorite line: "Kehehe...what wonderful strength. You could likely crush a child's skull with ease." (Why the fuck did he say this what is wrong with him but also it's such a funny line Kork no)

unpopular opinion: He's a super interesting character, and a part of that is his unfortunate plot-line, while canon handled it kinda poorly, i think it makes him even more interesting and makes me want to explore him deeper. I do not remove this plot-line when I write him unless it would completely get in the way of the story.

well to answer that, let's look at his mother

and his father - who I owe an apology to! this is a complete tangent, but I thought the other stud at the cattery had cucked him, because Belphegor has white spotting but neither of his parents do. which is genetically impossible (it's a co-dominant, not a recessive, meaning it would always be visible)

but those bat ears of his father, with their notched flanges, are so weird and distinctive! you can see that Belphegor has them, and nearly all of his littermates do too

SO NOW I'm thinking, the father has to have some white spotting that just isn't visible in his photo! right? like a white tail-tip, or a single white toe on his back foot, or maybe a locket on his chest? I've become an ear truther
