Her music and style of battle was the most fun and dancy! I still vibe to it to this day-

Sooo many references to Internet Culture and Digital Art fills my heart with warmth and gives me determination just like her song itself as well!

Funny Useless Fact: She is the only boss I've beaten on Rank B on my first blind playthrough!

2. DK West

He's OUR MAN, He's THE BEST!

My second favorite and at the same time the hardest for me to beat.

I personally didn't adore RAP genre at first and never seen anyone preform it as an actual entertaining battle until he showed up...

3. Yinu

Oh, sweet child...

I love Yinu and her theme lots even if I'm not that big of a fan of Classical Music. And her backstory...Gosh! It made me cry a lot.

And I'm still feel ashamed of breaking the piano ;;-;;

Love the pace of how music goes with the fight and it feels even better when you get into actual rhythm. There were issues that gladly wore off thanks to practice and fighting this boss over and over.

Tho those slamming cords haunt me whenever I listen to the song off-battle-

Funny Useless Fact: I didn't like her Mother at first but when I read more about her and relationship with Yinu my opinion completely changed. And this is why I would nominate No Straight Roads for The Best Storytelling and Character Design.

4. EVE

Two-faced, tall woman.

Used to be one of my favorites but due to some circumstances I can't look at her the same way I used to but I still adore her as a boss!

I honestly love her style of the fight and music that changes depending on who you play.

Tho fighting her is literally like eating a lemon but eventually you kinda just accept your fate and roll with weird artistic antics happening around you.

And EVE herself as a character is so fascinating. Like this is the moment where I started to see that these aren't just bosses, they are actually characters that tie this little but complex story together bit by bit. And this is why I would nominate No Straight Roads for The Best Storytelling and Character Design AGAIN!

Funny Useless Fact: EVE was supposed to be a next character to have a complete and detailed art of but due to my forgetfulness, difficulties with her design (and many other things) - it was never finished but I hope to get that dusty sketch out of WIP folder someday.

5. Tatiana

The Bitch. The Boss.

I don't really like her music and rhythm but I can forgive that since it is kind of fitting for conflict between her and the BBJ.

She tries to hide her true image throughout the story and the fight but ultimately crumbles cause escaping from the past isn't the best option to improve.

I love her design and personality and I wish there were more villains like her. Strict, simple, stoic and yet well-written.

Funny Useless Fact: I've never drawn Tatiana until NSR announced their release on Steam with addition of Fanat Graffiti Contest that I certainly didn't want to miss out on. It was difficult but I did it and ngl, I am still proud of the results.

6. DJ Subatomic Supernova & 1010/Neon J

I can't really say anything much about both of them. Sorry, guys...

Their designs and personalities are fun and well-made but due to one of them being the first you fight as "tutorial" and the other appears only at the end of a fight. (1010 band doesn't count as an actual boss to me more like a part of it) They didn't struck me much as the others did...

I will say this thou: their backstories are interesting. One is an academy astrology teacher with a goal of achieving the stars and other is a war veteran who just wanted everyone to live in peace and he himself despite everything never stopped his passion for doll-making and making people happy.

Just simply, beautiful...

UI UI UI UI UI:

I've been working on UI mostly the past couple of weeks. It has been, as usual, both very cool & fun but also hell and evil. To be more specific, I really like designing the visual aspect of UI, but implementing it is always so horribly tedious and boring that it is really hard for me to focus on doing it. Without fail, I always end up getting UI done very slowly because of this. I am really happy with what I've got so far though, and it has brought me one step closer to getting to the point where I can just start hashing out levels.

Making the Health UI:

The health UI was something I was extremely excited about implementing, so I eagerly decided to decide that it was time to make it. Let me step u through the process 4 fun.

For me, it always starts with sketching out something crudely in pen. I've had this sketch done for months now, so it was p cool to see it finally come to life in game.

Next I hopped into blender and began trying to make some kind of cool y2k-era greebled out shape, but making detailed machinery (or details in general) is not my strongsuit, so I ended up with this kinda neat smooth shape that I wasn't entirely happy with. It looked cool, but I really wanted to challenge myself to make something closer to the windows media player skins I was inspired by.

More Specifically, I referenced this Half-Life 2 windows media player skin heavily, and started with a ring that I could build little pieces and wires off of. I hope u can forgive me if I maybe made it too similar lol, but I tried to get creative and put my own spin on it. I think the shapes on the top left are the most similar to my reference, and those are not-so-coincidentally the first bits that I modeled. This is my first time modeling something in this style, and I suspect that I'll get better at it if & when I do it again.

Finally, I slapped some materials on, made a texture for one of the faces I had sketched out, and rendered out a few frames of it gently(ish) flashing. I then went into affinity photo and made little speedometer components to slot into the small circle in the top right and programmed some functionality to it. The plan is to have the face represent the player's current health, so I am going to need to make a few more and then animate it rotating into a different face. But yeah, I am super happy with it, and I think it is lookin p sick!

Other Stuff What I Made:

Other than the health UI, I also added in functionality and UI for completing a level and selecting a level.

I was very much inspired by killer7 for the sequence that plays when you shoot your target, and I am addicted to intense flashing lights, so I included a lot of that. There are already accessibility options to turn that off, so if it's something that could harm u or if you just hate it (coward????!!!11) you can disable them. I've always found intense effects like that very cathartic, so I'm probably gonna include similar visuals in a few different things I make. That being said, I do also always want to make the alternative visuals (when the accessibility options are enabled) to also be cool af and get the point across. The level select screen was also really fun to make, I basically just slapped together some textures of warn-out paper into a little files situation and placed that on top of an abstract background that I made in jwildfire.

Conclusion:

I have honestly really loved working on this so far, but there has been a lot of anxiety about money in my life lately, so I really do hope to get this out in a reasonable time. I feel like I say that a lot about this game, but it is because it's always on my mind unfortunately. I don't want to make it sound like I am making this game entirely for money or w/e though, it is definitely a labor of love. Anyways, I hope to get to a point where I can get some environment art done soon, and I cannot wait to show off whatever this game is gonna look like. Have a nice day every1!

Hello! I've been seeing your Kirby OC posts and it got me inspired to try making my own OC. However I wanted to ask you if there are any particular tips or guidelines you have on how exactly to go about making an OC?

I'm happy to hear I could inspire you!! I'm the kind of person who really encourages making an OC however you like with no hard rules, but I would be happy to offer tips as to how you can make them look more convincing and fit into the world!

This applies not just to Kirby but to any media that you want to make a fan design for. I use these tips when I design Fakémon and my other fan OCs as well! Knowing the property's design conventions can help you if you want your OC to fit in more seamlessly with other characters.

Since the subject is a Kirby OC, I will use my own as an example.

Prisma Knight follows the very basic design conventions of Kirby, since I wanted her to be the same species.

They both have: -A round body -Nubby arms -Big, round feet -Cheeks and feet that are a different color than the main body -Eyes that are an accent color

Conventions help with the consistency of character design, but they don't have to strictly be adhered to. Feel free to experiment and break conventions to help your OC stand out!

Next, because I wanted to make her a knight, I went ahead and looked at the designs for the preexisting knights and made some observations based on their conventions as well:

Once that's done it's time to move onto to the secondary design elements. I wanted Prisma to have an icy elemental design to her with a bit of mirror thrown in, so I took inspiration from those copy abilities:

I really liked the colors of these designs, so it was at this stage I decided to go for a primarily blue and purple pallete with some white and gold in there as accents.

With this in mind, I went ahead and looked for a color palette that I could take inspiration from:

By then I had a pretty good idea of all the conventions, so I made some sketches!! Ideally during this step it's good to make many different sketches exploring various ideas, but I'm the kinda person who erases and redraws parts of my initial sketch so know that there were different designs before I reached this one, haha:

All the while I was thinking of her story in my head which mostly stemmed from questions pertaining to certain design elements I chose:

Why does she have an elaborate mask? Because she's royalty.

How did she become a knight turned royalty? She left the life of a soldier behind her.

Why did she stop being a soldier? She was ashamed of a foolish mistake and fled.

What was that foolish mistake? She challenged someone stronger than her and lost her wings in the process.

And thus, Prisma was born!! Her name actually came to me before I even fully designed her (which about NEVER happens for me lol) and it was the inspiration for her using ice and mirror magic in the first place.

Anyways, I hope this helped! Just have fun with it and enjoy the creation process :D

Hello, you asked for Vilidia asks and I'm gonna try my damndest to deliver because I crave content of them as well, so I'm just gonna knock out a few scenarios I have in my head, they're a bit half baked, but I hope that's fine

So the social event thought, Vil is famous, Idias family is kinda too, he's bound to be forced to attend something at some point and does acting coincide with conglamerate shit? Probably not, but I don't know how being famous works and a man can dream

This then could lead to a classic run-in and then "chilling outside because you're the only person here I like or maybe even know", but what I personally think is just a tad funnier is if the rest of Idias whole extended family was also present and Vil can be introduced to those guys for a nice little "wtf Idia has friends/a boyfriend", depends on wether he'd be willing to tell them, and not only that it's Vil fucking Schönheit

Of course there's Mr. and Ms. Shroud which in and of itself already good, but an idea I've seen floating around too is that Idia has a cousin who could be TWST Zeus and I like that thought plus aunts, uncles, whoever you want really

Secondly, something smaller is that I like to think Idia at some point in his life is going to get glasses because I have glasses come on, he sees more blue light than sunlight

And now that could go over into funky glasses frame shopping because just because glasses are made to make you see better doesn't mean that they aren't just as much capable of looking fun and I think Vil would agreePlus you could also get a nice chain to attach if you wanted to

Proceeding with more fashion stuff, now it's no uncommon scenario to see Vil dress Idia up a bit, but I also like the thought that by the end Idia is so flustered that his hair is entirely pink and now the outfit colours Vil picked out don't work anymore

I might come back at some point and tell you about more thoughts, but I feel like that's enough for now and I hope you enjoyed them

Vil and Idia at some stuffy party they don’t want to be at is golden.

I absolutely adore Vil having the chance to meet Idia’s family but also consider:

They’re the only two outside and already familiar with each other. Vil notices Idia visibly uncomfortable. He doesn’t want to have to dress up and socialize, that much is obvious. They stand in silence for a long time, far enough apart to not intrude on one another. Vil mentally debates the whole time, wondering if he could be irresponsible for just one night. He wants to help Idia, but he has an obligation to make his presence known at the party. Eventually he decides, sweeping over towards Idia in whatever elegant gown he donned. Vil asks point blank if Idia wants to get out of there. Idia’s obviously taken aback but stutters out an agreement. They take a night out, finding some gazebo far from any human life and spend the night together. They’re still in their formal wear as they explore together and chat, but neither of them mind much. Outside of the obligations of the party, it’s nice to have a chance to be themselves.

Augh actually on the topic of Vil and family I feel like he’d be kind of shocked by Idia having a large family. It’s always been just him and his dad, so him suddenly having a massive extended family would be so fun. Also I feel like he’d be the kind of guy to absolutely adore kids. He might not have them for himself, but he loves Ortho and any of Idia’s younger cousins. Idia finds it really endearing seeing Vil get along so well with his family.

ALSO OMG IDIA EITH GLASSES

I’m just imagining Vil looking over the options with Idia, both of them trying to find the perfect one to match his vibe. They can’t seem to find the perfect one, so they take matters into their own hands. Both of them have the money and talent to design custom glasses. Vil would sketch out designs for different outfits and scenarios while Idia would build the frames and add some sort of techno magic to them. He can’t have boring regular glasses after all.

Omg one of my favorite things ever is them combining Idia’s technological genius with Vil’s skill with design. They could pull together so many cool tech savvy outfits

Just them trying fashion together!!! Aaaaa Vil dressing Idia, standing back to appraise him, and saying Idia looks stunning. Idia immediately breaks, his hair flaring a bright pink and Vil watches him smugly. Vil adores how easily he can break Idia and he often will whisper small compliments into his ear just to see that reaction. They pass each other in the halls and Vil leans down for a brief moment to say Idia looks cute. Idia tugs his hood over his head and quickly shuffles away, now unable to think about anything besides Vil.

ok so

1. i mentioned about having medical issues and some people got concerned so i just want to quickly explain the thing yk; in short it turns out having anxiety can cause heart arrhythmia ????? which can be like kinda dangerous;; but like in most cases it's fairly harmless so i should be alright :] !! still have to go check it out at the hospital (which i have been sorta putting off for a while bc yk. anxiety,, lol) but like other than it stressing me out a bit, everything is relatively fine :]

2. school is kicking my ass rn 💀 have a lot of unfinished work and missed a ton of classes bc my mental health kinda sucks,, so yk it's not exactly going great lol. but uhhhhhhhhhh im sure I'll figure it out ? ig ?? ye.

3. got a small art block. well it's more like "i have so much work to do, how dare i draw at a time like this" (and then just go to sleep bc im soo stressed and overwhelmed about everything 💀) but like. I'll probably get over it soon 🤷

I have only asked for one matchup in the past like 8 years of imagine blog requesting but I figured hey, why not? I've been reading your blog nonstop for like 2 weeks, lol! Lets see, I'm about 5ft 4 with a bob of ringlets and a round, even, bespectacled face. I'm pretty curvy and perhaps on the heavier side but I've got a lot more strength to my frame than most give me credit for! In the day to day folks look at me and think I'm a 100% cerebral kind of person and for the most part they'd be right, at least when I was younger. I used to be the ultimate shut-in for the simple fact that I suffer from a family curse on my father's side- when we aren't learning we feel like we're *fucking dieing*(i didn't make tht up it's the family running joke!). These days I'm much more outgoing; I play DnD in 2 groups, have tons of online friends I talk to regularly, I've got a routine of 'sister night's where me and my sister paint together, I sing in a chorus, and I've got study sessions with my mentor going too- so I'm kinda a former-antisocial-dork-turned-deliberate-part-of-their-communities kinda chick. I feel like if i was dropped in middle earth I'd wanna try and build a printing press, my first degree was in graphic design so I know a ton about all the different kinds, I'd love to share! After all, what's the point of learning if you don't use your information to *help* people? Guess I'd be a scribe if I was born there tho. I skew towards liking the hobbit characters more than LOTR, but I'm up for anyone that's in both, too. Congrats on 300, you deserve it!!

Dear Ori!

Ori finds out someone is causing quite a stir with a new invention, so of course he has to see what all the fuss is about! Something about a revolution amongst his world of scribes happening right at the foot of his home down in Dale. Making his way down to the study named, he musters up the courage to knock on the door. Coming to call unannounced isn't exactly the most polite behavior, he knows, but then again this inventor must be having a lot of that these days. He isn't expecting to see a cute young woman open the door, though, and his first thought is one hoping you aren't just the inventor's wife opening the door for them.

You are not. The moment Ori shyly greets you, asking if it's true what the scribes are saying about an exciting new device, your eyes light up and you usher him in. Inside your home is a bit messy, but the comforting sort of messy where charming china sits out atop tables, game boards at their sides, papers are strewn about with notes and diagrams and drawings Ori wishes he could see better. A potted plant sits in one corner with an unfinished sketch of its likeness on the adjacent shelf. A fire is fighting its best to stay lit behind an elaborately styled metal gate, no doubt to keep it that much further from all the paper. All in all, Ori thinks to himself that this is somewhere he could live. As you begin taking him across the room to a door, you animatedly discuss your many trials and errors before you reveal your masterpiece. A great structure with some sort of metal rod and a bunch of blocks? Printing press, you call it. You had blocks for each letter, the rod pulled down to press the ink down... "Now we can save some time if we need a lot of copies! What do you think?" You stood there with your head expectantly tilted, hands clasped in front of you. "They say Thorin or Bard might like something like this for decrees, but as a fellow scribe do you see a future with this?"

Gaping at your smarts and flushing at the faint flutter of your eyelashes, Ori nods. "This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen, and I fought a dragon." "You...fought a dragon?" It is your turn to gape as you peer at the dwarf with new interest. "Threatened to show him dwarvish iron where the sun don't shine," he replied with a proud smile, arms crossed, "but you know, in the end Mr. Bard got 'im. We all showed him what for, though! This tops that by a long shot, though- how'd you think of this?" Kettle on first, hours of discussion later. Soon it was near nightfall and Ori was apologizing profusely and you were waving it off, asking him for promise of a return with the sketches he mentioned.

A whole new page of sketches gets dedicated to figures with bobs of lovely curls, gorgeous curves that have Ori blushing, smiles upon a round, cheery face and spectacles never fully betraying the eyes' secrets. Whole hours of Ori’s day get dedicated to carving blocks for your press and trying them out with you and feeling his heart flip at the way you take his hands and leap in celebration. He can listen to you talk, whether it’s explaining your invention process or the instructions of the game you’re teaching him or even simply sharing some random animal facts from the latest book you picked up, all day, he thinks. And then one day as he’s leaving you press a kiss to his cheek and that’s it.

Flowers and a new book are thrust into your hand the moment you open the door, Ori standing before you telling you how much he likes you and can’t stop thinking about you and you positively must interrupt him to tell him he’s been like home to you or else he’ll keep going, the poor dear. He wants to take you out that day, walk you around proudly and savor the feeling of your hand in his as he shows you off.

So, this may be a loaded question, and I'm sorry about that. But I really want to know, do you have any plans on what to do after OW ends? Like, any new stories?

It is completely 100% okay if you don't, especially considering you have a lot of things going on in your life, and you aren't actively trying to monetize your games. However, I just want you to know that your games mean so, so much to me, and many other people.

Our Wonderland has become an immense comfort to me over the past few months, and everyday I look forward to any new content you or others may post. That's not an exaggeration. Seeing OW content is genuinely a highlight of my day.

I know it can't last forever, but with the finale being so close I must admit that I will miss the story greatly. I'll probably keep replaying it and thinking about it for months on end.

I apologize if it comes off that way, but I'm not trying to guilt trip you into making more content than you want/can handle. I just want to tell you my honest feelings about the game, and the impact it had on me.

I hope, whatever the case is, that you'll be happy with your decision and that things will go well for you. You have created a genuinely amazing and beautiful story, and you deserve all the praise for it.

i don't yet have any specific plans or ideas for once OW is finished. that's mostly because i never make future plans for anything LOL (i am scared of the future...). i do have random various ideas for potential things i could do once it's finished, but i would not be able to tell you when they would happen (or even 100% confirmed they would happen); they're more just like, little kernels of potential things sitting latent inside my head. these include:

The OW remaster, where I go back through and make some of the earlier arcs better and more polish/redo some of the art (this has the highest chance of happening)

Maybe another random OW side game at some point??? I know I'm already working on OC now LOL but I have so many random ideas for these characters in my head that I don't doubt I will suddenly get inspired to do yet another side game of some type, tho I don't know what that could be yet. I imagine it would be something of a different vibe than OC since I'm getting all my bittersweet-fluff-needs out now LOL

Game jams... I don't have any specific ideas for game jams but because they're always going on, there's always the chance I'll get a random little idea for one. Particularly when O2A2 rolls around again next year as it's such a good opportunity to work on something small and different. Or maybe next Spooktober (though I'd need a really good idea for that as I would feel a bit pressured to make sure it's good LOL)

A new project? I have an idea for one that's been tumbling around in my head for a while now that's more of a dark fantasy vibe. If I start to get the story for that a bit more developed in my mind I may eventually start working on it or at least start doing some sketches to help me better figure out the chars

those are all my current tumbling thoughts. but again because i hate planning or thinking about the future, they're all just kinda vague and none of them are 100% confirmed (even if the remaster is something i'm pretty sure i wanna do)

Okay maybe controversial opinion: I dont like seeing ocs in fics. Isnt ur story about sns? Why wuld we need ur ocs? I think it is just a way for people to selfinsert into their story through an oc no one knows. It kinda sucks because I was excited for ur story too. So yeah thats just how I feel

I don't think that is so controversial. That's just your preference and that is fine. You don't need to read anything you don't like, right? I'm not sure whether you meant me in particular or in a general sense so I'll just answer for myself why I needed an (/a few minor/background) OC('s); It IS a story about Naruto x Sasuke but I personally like story a lot. Meaning that events, conflict and even things like Setting are connected to convey a message. With that also other characters.

These elements can be used to enhance all that. (If done correctly though, it CAN become muddy.) To me that is a lot more meaningful than going from scene to scene "just because". BUT, I do enjoy fics solely for the fact that we can experience SNS through an authors mind in infinite different ways and AUs even if they only write about Naruto and Sasuke and whatever it is they're doing at that moment. A clear linear story that brings you from A to B. I can understand when people then especially don't want to read entire paragraphs about a character they don't know (or care about) and want to skip to the reason they started reading in the first place. In my case, I'm not very good at writing/describing things the way I want to. Not even in my own language. I think I have a better chance of conveying what I want to tell visually which is why I choose to create a DJ instead. But then "show don't tell" is different as it is literally shown. Every panel matters. And I feel like I need a new character to help me do that and create conflict for the sake of telling a more interesting story regarding my message. I think it would be boring for me if everything is well, rainbows and happiness right from the start because what is left for me to do? And with Canon-compliant stories, it's not very believable to me. (Again, not saying these stories aren't good, this is just for me given the trouble I'll put them in anyway. Fics are often already well-established for good reasons as we already know the characters, like fluff for e.g. and I can enjoy them.) But any existing characters don't really fit here you know? It definitely, for me, isn't a self-insert but it is inevitable that there can be relatable elements because of my chosen Theme. Hm~ you can see it as a (fanmade-)movie arc, but then placed during the blank period. Those arcs always have new characters and at the end of it you don't really (or ever) see them again. But here I tried to weave them through the OG-story nonetheless. I may be a bit self-indulgent though as this will be a very long project. I was actually thinking of uploading some sketches of the OC in a bit and introduce.. him 👀 But of course, you don't need to read it at all. In fact, it's very likely that many won't considering the heavy subjects. But I do hope this clarified it a tiny bit Nonee.

When dealing with bird-like legs (or any other hybrid legs) you have to think of a good piece of clothing that would be appropriate, comfortable and that it should look nice. Idk if I managed to achieve it (tbf it's a sketch ref) but overall it looks well-put, it's easy to draw and I think it should be comfy. At least I hope so!

For his Life indicator I've chosen colors of his, uh, under-feathers?? I'm sorry I don't have the correct anatomical name for them and words in general are not my tea but I hope you all can see what I'm talking about

That design was in mind for Life Series only and I used it for post-Ep1 of Limited Life animatic but he decided to change his skin in Limited Life Ep2 and I just cope with it bc for the love of me I couldn't figure how leather jacket could work with all that

Glasses felt like a fun accessory at the moment but in the actual animatic it gave really cool 'Anime villain' effect

so so I found in a short vid that there are some octopi that just go hijacking Jellyfishes(lmao) and go rides them across the ocean treating them like a safety ticket to protect themselves from predators and a free ride XD, also also!! they get free snack (no wonder Azul's chuncky-) lol HAHAHAH soooo I can't keep it out of my head and had to write about it and got some tiny bit of inspiration to draw baby Azul and his sorta jellyfish brother figure emergency snack XD

INTRODUCING Cyanide, Iammai (pronounced as /Ya/./Ma/./I/)

So so here how it goes and how they met!!

So since Azul always get bullied as a kid because of his body size there was a time he happen to get lost he happens to find a mer jellyfish around and decides to hijack him and make a deal forces with him to bring him back to his school, they somehow got along swimmingly and often met until Azul started latching on to him and sometimes munching on Cyanide.

"Oh hey, Zul!"

"Bring me to school"

"Eh-...umm sure i guess and Zuulll- please stop trying to eat meeee"

Cyanide being a sweet little (quite idiotic) jellyfish, adored and a huge softy for little Azul as soon as they met although he's not very fond of Azul constantly trying to eat him. He being 6 years older than Azul officially somehow became Azul's older brother figure, who babies him SOO much, Azul's ride to anywhere and everywhere he wanna go to, and protector whenever someone would try to bully the baby and tease him. "Zul's just a cutie, this is why you get teased so much"

"Cya-nii!!! STOP IM NOT A CUTIE!!!"

"Eh, but you are my little Azul-chan! Nononoo!- ok ok you're not cute you're cool so please stop eating meee-"

And even when Azul is already at NRC Cyanide would visit and write to him as often as he could! He continues to support him even when Azul often gaslights him to buy tons of the stuff he's selling and all that and this, he still cares and cherishes him which is why Azul treasures him so much aswell but of course his pride stops him from admitting it lol^^

Hello there! I'm an Australian Aboriginal trans guy trying to raise a bit of money to afford my first ever binder! I've been dying to have a binder since I was like 14, and since my 24th birthday was not too long ago, I think it's HIGH time to finally get one, and alleviate this dysphoria that has been plaguing me for the past 10 years.

If JUST 5 PEOPLE commission me, I will be able to FULLY afford the binder I want, shipping and all! My prices are also kinda cheap, so that even if you don't have much money, you probably will still be able to afford my commissions! Also I'm quite a quick drawer, which is another reason I've got the prices so low.

I'm going to be doing pencil drawings and sketch commissions for now, simply because they are the fastest and most fun for me to do! I can get a drawing done in about a day this way, meaning that either the very day of the commission, or the day after, the drawing will already be done <3 I will not be able to ship these drawings out as they will be drawn in my very nice hard-cover sketchbook and I don't want to rip the pages out 😭 But it would also be a huge hassle financially to ship them out, which is what the exact opposite of what I'm trying to accomplish, so I hope a scan/picture of the drawing is okay.

Hello Everyone!

I'm Back With Another REDRAW!

While look for some inspiration on what to draw I was looking through my old sketch book and one of the drawings was a winnie the pooh with friends

The first drawing on the top was back in 2019 it was around the time I was first using alcohol markers I did really know anything about blending shading so I was kinda just coloring I still think it's cute and really shows how much I've gotten better since than 😁

The second draw in the middle I did back in 2021 and what a improvement! my favourite part of the drawing was was eeyore he looks so cute and considering this was my second time drawing him as you can see I did get used to using markers a little bit although winnie the pooh does a bit too much shading on his face he still looks really cute over time my markers did fade little bit overtime so I hope you don't mind that... 😅

Now onto today's redraw as you can see I've improved a lot since than for this draw I use colored pencils and ohuhu alcohol based markers I think this REDRAW is super adorable I've gotten so much better at my sizes since than as you can also see I used the same pose for this drawing as I did the original back in 2021 the only thing I have to complain about this drawing is the spacing I wish I would've drew it a little more to the right that way you can see eeyore and tigger's tail other than that it's for sure one of my favourite redraws

Flufftober August

Gosh, sorry for being late on this rendition of Flufftober by @flufftober month. I was working quite a bit on my later WIPs, and busy with real life stuff that this one kinda swpt by until last minute.

I have to admit, I quite enjoyed working on this one. Especially with exploring the dynamics between the characters here, I couldn't help but want to do it with Elaine and Marielle, and even did a quick sketch of the surroundings they could be at. So I hope you guys enjoy this one!

Elaine struts by, collecting all the things she could find. Weapons, armory and jewlerry. All the things she has found scattered on the floor. Well, so much for try to have a neat room. And when she twists around, she could see the girl who is no more than half her height, reaching to her hips. 

And mind you, she ain't a girl. 

"Lainy! Hi~!" the girl with her eyes barely showing under her pink domed head says, "Oh goodie, it's so nice to see you today!" 

"Do I even want to know how you got into my room?" 

"Nope." despite her sweet smile curving through her lips, something tells Elaine that would probably be the case that she has done something. And despite her small size the tentacles from her sides swirl around. Elaine tenses her lip. She's definitely a lot more dangerous than she's letting on. 

"so… What are we going to do today?" 

"what do you mean?" she gives a forced laugh as she narrows her eyes for the owl that should be there by now. "actually, where's Tynan?" 

"Oh, Ty? We're going to him now." she says "I thought that we can both go to him, like we're badass, sister style." 

Elaine gives a cackling laugh, "Marielle. You know I have more duties to do than to pretend to be your younger-" 

"actually older sister." she gives a stretched smile… Older…?

"How… How old are you?" 

"A hundred and fifty six years old." What the…!? "At least, it'd probably translate to… Twenty one cat years?" twenty one what..? Before Elaine could begin to understand it, she thrusts her hand to her fists. 

"Stop trying to be funny with me." Elaine says. 

"Oh, no, no. It's not me being funny to you at all. It's all seriousness." good grief. Even the way she's facing her with her mouth drooped doesn't make it any easier to say anything that she said is a joke. 

"You know… I'm twenty six, but that…" I stare at her. ”That doesn't make any sense."

"You know how you have cat lives…?" 

"You mean as in cat lives, right…?" 

"yeah, yeah." she says. "I have that sort of thing, but… Limitless." What the hell…?! 

"how in the hell is that possible…!?" Elaine says, and her mouth tenses, but then scrunches up.  

"I, uhh… regenerate…?” Why is she saying it like it’s the most obvious thing…? “It's complicated to explain, but after getting tired or really hurt, I just… Revive myself?" This is sounding more ridiculous by the minute. "I'm sure you'll see it one of these days!"

"I am going to pretend I never heard you say that." 

"Lainy~!" Marielle gives a chided laughter. She is probably the second weirdest– no scratch that, the weirdest Elaine has ever encountered. 

"Look, I don't really care how you revive yourself. Just…" She searches her, but then Elaine gives a sigh as she twists away from her. "Let's go and look for Tynan."

"Okay! Cue the music!" the music? What mus– 

'My, my, how the seasons go by

I get high, and I love to get low

So the hearts keep breakin', and the heads just roll

You know, that's how the story goes'

God, why does she have to sing? And… Where the hell is that music coming from…!? 

'One, two, three, they gonna run back to me

'Cause I'm the best baby that they never gotta keep

They always wanna come, but they never wanna leave –'

"Marielle, stop!" Elaine says, and gosh, what is with her and laughing so much…? 

"Hey, I've got to have some backbeat music somewhere." her smile inches just that bit wider. "especially since I'm walking with my cooler and younger sister~!"

"Yeah, but…" Elaine takes a breath in. If she could only strangle that jellyfish…! But then, something's telling her it would be a mistake if she did that. So she takes a breath in. "We are at a palace. Not at a bar." Elaine says "and I am not your little sister!"

“I know.” She says, “I just like to make you laugh and allll stressed out.” Oh, what…!? So this jellyfish is really doing this on purpose…? She will–  “Just joking.” Marielle gives a soft smile, before her big round dress wavers to the side. “Let’s go Lainy. It’s a nice August day, and hey. It’s soon Spring… or Autumn...?” 

“It’s fall here.” And her pink dome stares up at her for what seems like a few seconds. Even as the other people are walking past the corridor. Who knows what she’s thinking. 

“I knew that.” No, she didn’t. She didn’t. But then she’s turning away…! “Lainy, we have to find Ty soon. We don’t want to keep him waiting.” Of course Marielle doesn’t. But then, Elaine herself didn’t want to keep Tynan waiting either.  

“Fine, but you better explain how you got into my room sooner or later.” and Marielle gives a laugh. Something is telling her she won’t get an answer. But it doesn’t matter. It’s different than with all those other people in Lanz’ castle. Serious, rigid and fine. Well, it ought to be time that Elaine herself did something different around here besides sitting still and acting like a princess the whole day.

Hello there! Warning, I do rant a bit here.

I dropped my phone water at the beach a month ago, and I’ve basically lost all my sketches, photos and written drafts because I didn’t bother to back them up. I basically had no motivation to draw anything, because more than 200 drawing just poofed :(

I finally decided to draw something, and it was a bit of a struggle. I can’t download anything onto this phone due to storage concerns, so I’m stuck with the default notes app. It won’t let me zoom in, and I’m not used to using a pen that’s so fiddly. The app won’t let me undo more than 7 strokes at a time, so I can’t be too liberal with what I want to draw. It’s also inverted the canvas for me, seeing as I’m currently using dark mode.

I kinda just scribbled for a bit, before I realised I was probably sketching Meili. I say probably, because I didn’t use a reference, and drawing clothing with proper folds felt impossible for some reason. It might sound strange, but Meili’s a comfort character of mine — I hope you don’t mind.

I figured I’d just send this to you through an ask instead of making an entire post about it. You’ve been offline for a while, and I hope you’re doing okay. Stay safe out there.

i'm kinda friendly to most ppl and i love meeting new people because it gives me opportunity to analyze someone new !! i come off as a lot more carefree and spontaneous, but underneath i observe ppl a lot and im like that one friend who knows more and is more mature than u'd think (lmao im also the advice friend while being the chaotic one). i was raised up religiously, but rn i'm agnostic! i somewhat believe in justice, however i believe justice isn't always the way to go because of how everyone has such different and conflicting views of moral and ethical laws! i believe in the pursuit to know more, and to always consider every kind of perspective.

Some would wonder why he entertained her points as anything more than a means to stir up trouble; but to those who cared to observe more keenly, it became abundantly clear that while Albedo was not the type to dismiss a hypothesis immediately, no matter the reasoning behind it, he simply favored opinions voiced by her.

The Spark Knight put it best: "If you like someone, you should always listen to what they have to say!"

Fun details:

Albedo is always busy with work, but even so, he makes time to see you. (Unless he's up on Dragonspine... That distance can't be helped.) It is clear in the way he has your interests in mind, be it by inquiring about your studies, your music-making, or in the simple act of bringing a cup of iced coffee from your favorite local cafe.

Many an afternoon is spent sitting outside the local Mondstadt restaurants people-watching. Albedo listens intently as you voice your psycho-analyses aloud, and will accompany your thoughts with sketches if the individuals in question, or the scenery that day so you both might recall the discussion. He will voice his own observations, too; it will be fascinating to hear what conclusions you two reach! (And a little scary, for you're often too accurate.)

Albedo is not a highly musical person, but it is fascinating to him to discern pure talent from diligent practice. He'll undoubtedly find both in your musical pursuits, but will wonder which you think matters more in the long run. If this leads to a debate, even better - he loves stimulating discussion, especially with someone intelligent enough to keep up with him.

If someone asked him now, though, he's have a harder time picking one thing that stands out the most.
