Echo
All episodes of Marvel Studios' Echo, a new Original series, streaming January 10 on DisneyPlus & Hulu. And will be marketed under the Marvel Spotlight Banner
"Marvel Spotlight gives us a platform to bring more grounded, character-driven stories to the screen, and in the case of Echo, focusing on street-level stakes over larger MCU continuity. Just like comics fans didn’t need to read Avengers or Fantastic Four to enjoy a Ghost Rider Spotlight comic, our audience doesn’t need to have seen other Marvel series to understand what’s happening in Maya’s story." - Marvel Head of Streaming Brad Winderbaum

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…
October 28th - Son of Satan
Daimon Hellstrom is the child of a human mother, named Victoria Wingate, and an extra-dimensional being who had taken the name Satan.  This Satan had disguised himself as a human so to bore hybrid children that he believed could be used as conduits to help him conquer the earthly realm.  Victoria came to discover the truth about her husband and it drove her mad, leading her to be institutionalized in an asylum.  Daimon and his younger sister, Satana, were each placed in separate orphanages, growing up with little knowledge of their parentage.
As a young adult, Daimon entered a Catholic monastery, studying to become a priest.  He excelled at the monastery and was set to be ordained when he received notice that he had inherited a mansion from his father.  Upon inspection of the house, Daimon discovered a portal in the basement that led to a hell-like dimension where his father, the dreaded Six-Fingered Hand, ruled over a horde of monstrous slaves.
The Six Fingered Hand offered his son a place at his side.  Diamon had been imbued with the ‘Darksoule,’ a portion of Satan’s essence that bestows tremendous super natural powers.  As such, Daimon was tasked with conquering the earth and ruling it as his father’s lieutenant.  Yet Daimon refused.  He stole his father’s trident and led a rebellion amongst his slaves.  The Six Fingered Hand was defeated, but he would rise again to further bedevil his son.  After returning to earth, Daimon used his powers to defend the realm against demonic evil.  Herein he came to be known as The Son of Satan.
After fighting alongside The Ghost Rider and Dr. Strange, Daimon was invited to become a member of the Defenders.   Daimon would later lose his powers and became a private investigator specializing in the occult.  Thereafter he regained his power and fully deposed his father, seizing control over the hell-like dimension.  The power corrupted Daimon, causing him to become evil.  More recently, he has acted as a member of Helmet Zemo’s newest iteration of The Masters of Evil.
A version of the character featured in the Hulu television series, Hellstrom, portrayed by actor Tom Austen.  The Son of Satan first appeared in Ghost Rider Vol. 2 #1 (1973).

🔥Marvel's Helstrom Parallel🔥
💥Spoilers for Marvel's Helstrom
💥Christian faith / Roman-Catholic Church
💥 All translated via Google Translate (German in English)
So I finished (2 months ago) the Hulu series "Marvel's Helstrom". (Which is actually fully good, brought MORE recognition). To this day, I haven't been intensively involved with the series until a flash of inspiration came to me. I saw this picture:
Tumblr media
The birth of Jesus. What we Christians celebrate at Christmas. And suddenly I began to notice parallels between the Bible and the series.
🔴 Gabriella Rosetti and Mary were both virgins.🔴
Both women were virgins and served God. One did not lose her faith in him (Mary), but the other did. (Gabriella)
🔴Both have taken a trip🔴
Mary would have to go to Bethlehem because of Emperor Augustus. Gabriella would be sent from the Vatican to Oregon.  Both found their "destiny" only there.
🔴 Both women would be chosen to conceive a child.🔴
Mary has given birth to the Son of God, while Gabriella has given birth to the new body of Kthara aka. Lily gave birth. Both women would be chosen by a higher power to give birth.
🟠 Were wanted by 3 people. 🟠
I'm not so sure about this parallel, but both would be sought by 3 people. In Mary's fall, there would be 3 kings in the East. In Gabriella's case, there were 3 demons in human bodies. In Mary's case, Joseph was also the "father" to the child. With Gabriella, the "father" was indirectly there. So I don't know if that counts as a parallel.
🔴 The "fathers" work indirectly for God 🔴
Easily explained: Joseph and Daimon work indirectly for God. Daimon works indirectly for the Varkitan and Joseph indirectly for God.
🟠Both births would be carried out without other persons.🟠
Okay, shit formulated, but both births would only be performed with a few people. In Mary's case (I think) only Joseph was depicted. In Gabriella fall, there were three men/demons. Now with both there was no doctor there or who knows medically.
🔴 A "king" seeks the child 🔴
The children would be sought by "kings". Emperor Augustus wanted Jesus' death and Satan wants to "help" Lily/Kthara to kill all people.
🟠 An Angel / A Guardian 🟠
Chris Yen and Archangel Gabriel both protect the children. Gabriel indirectly and Chris directly.
🔴 The Escape 🔴
Both children flee from their birthplace. In the Bible, Mary Joseph and Jesus flee to Egypt and were successful. In Helstrom, Chris & Lily tried to escape but failed.
..........
⭕Who still knows parallels can reblog this post or make a message at the post / BUT DO NOT POST THE POST AGAIN⭕
..........
..........
Theorie
I know I know Marvel's Helstrom won't have another season, but WHY did I have the theory if they make a Midnightson movie/series that Kthara aka. Lily (and maybe Satan) are the villains. The one at Kthara's Wiki post: https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Kthara at Trivia she also as Lilith (the first woman in the world before Eve was Lilith) and play the villain in an upcoming Ghost Rider, I could imagine that the Midnightsons (like in the comics) have to fight against Ktahra. My theory, if that happens, that like Jesus, she sacrifices herself for the demons and dies as a sign. Satan wants to calculate 100% and the Midnightsons have to bond with the Helstrom siblings to stop it.
....
No idea I've written too long at the post so still a nice day / night.

What I Watched in 2022 (TV)
I was going to fill out a survey about my TV-watching habits, but then I realized...I have a seive-like brain (now more than ever, considering that I watch things almost exclusively on streaming services and have little to no idea what is even currently airing on television), and my time would be better served just organizing the list I more-or-less kept track of throughout the year and trying to make some sense of it.
En...joy?
Current Scripted Shows (2021-22 and/or ‘22-23 season):
Abbott Elementary
Alaska Daily
Blood & Treasure
Ghosts (US version)
Pretty Smart
Severance
Sweet Magnolias
United States of Al
(I’ve got literally 4 ships across all of these shows, plus Densi on the side from NCIS: LA even though I’m not watching it. god. no wonder I feel so parched and/or go so off the rails when I stumble into a good romantic movie these days. or even just a movie with a solid romance in it.)
Current Reality/Game Shows:
The Amazing Race: Season 33 & 34 (but also: on Hulu I binged 23, 25-29, and a rewatch of 31)
Beyond the Edge
The Chase
The Floor is Lava
Jeopardy: the College Tournament of Champions & however much has aired so far of the Celebrity Tournament of Champions
Survivor
The Weakest Link (w/ Jane Lynch)
(WHY AM I THIS ADDICTED TO REALITY AND GAME SHOWS. How old am I. what year is it.)
Older Shows:
Alone (History channel): season 8/Chilko Lake
Bedlam (something British... SkyTV?): season 1
The Chair (Netflix miniseries)
The Circle (Netflix): season 1 & 2
Deadwater Fell (Acorn)
Enlisted (FOX)
The Exes (TV Land)
Fuller House: 1x01-06 (then I got too overwhelmed with joy and needed to save it)
Hit the Floor (VH1): season 1 & 2
Keep Breathing (Netflix miniseries)
Maid (Netflix)
Mythic Quest (AppleTV): 1x02, 1x08-2x04 w/ husband
Ultimate Beastmaster: season 3
Valor (CW)
Rewatches:
Blood and Treasure: season 1
Revolution: 2x13-22
The Office: 8x07-24
Siberia
Ally McBeal: Josh Groban's 2 episodes (which I forgot to post about, dangit)
Community (I lost count because I’m jumping around the series and rarely see more than 2 or 3 in chronological order, but I’ve definitely seen at least 50 of them for the umpteenth time)
Random rewatch episodes in syndication/Netflix:
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (just 2, but so fun that night)
Wheel of Fortune
King of Queens
Seinfeld
Bonus: One or Two Episode Wonders
(with 1 or 2 exceptions, there was nothing wrong with these shows, I just was like "wow this is good!" and then was too overwhelmed or unable to return)
American Housewife: 1x01-02 (still saved for when I need a comfort-food sitcom)
The Big Leap: 1x01 (I definitely MEANT and WANTED to continue, I was just never Ready)
Camp Snowflake: 1x01 (this one I bailed on purpose; it was awful.)
The I-Land: 1x01 (why does this look so good yet move so slowly and boringly)
The Last Cowboy: 1x01-02 (caught on TV; wish I could have watched more! a reality show about reining horses and their riders? DUDE. unfortunately I could only find this on live TV)
Mr. Mayor: 1x01-02 (Holly Hunter was truly That Repellent huh)
NCIS: LA: 13x08 (oh, wow, I meant to watch at least a couple more highlight eps...but really, I am now a shippy-gifsets-only kind of girl)
Redneck Island: 3x02-03; 1x02-09 (bless you late night syndication and insomnia lmao)
The Terminal List: 1x01 (I really did mean to continue, but then Matt Barr knocked Chris Pratt Owen Grady off the top of Handsome Mountain so now we're waiting until I am back in the groove of finding this man attractive under the right circumstances)
Conclusions:
Favorite show of the year is hands-down bar-none Blood & Treasure, but Abbot Elementary is a close second. The best reality show this year is definitely The Amazing Race. And among the older shows, Maid is fantastic and very much worth your time/my leading favorite among them.
Best comfort-food sitcoms: Ghosts, United States of Al, Family Reunion, Enlisted and The Exes are all a warm delight.
Also, doesn’t qualify as a comfort-food one but Mythic Quest is surprisingly entertaining, for someone who’s never played a MMORPG in her life and whose last video game attempts were done on a PS2. I just hate the language (and Ian).
And all of the rewatches, obviously, sheer perfection. *chef’s kiss*

Regarding the Marvel properties that feature more mature content, I still feel that Marvel Studios and Disney could get around that issue by utilizing Hulu, especially since Disney pretty much owns that service.
Disney+ could be the hub for the more family-friendly MCU properties whereas Hulu could be the hub for the darker content. Characters like the Punisher, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider. Or heck, even Moon Knight. In fact, there’s precedent for this; Marvel MAX, an imprint that focused exclusively on more mature stories featuring Marvel characters.
Basically, Disney+ can be regular Marvel while Hulu can be Marvel MAX. I just don’t buy the argument that Disney can’t adapt the darker characters when the solution is right there.

Elizabeth Hurley as Morgan le Fay on Hulu Marvel’s Runaways
No one told me this beautiful gem Elizabeth Hurley was portraying Morgan le Fay in Marvel Runaways Season 3. Admittedly I still need to catch up with S2 but this is amazing casting as I’m already spellbound! Debuting this Friday December 13, this will be the Runaways’ final season on Hulu including a crossover event with the former Freeform hero couple Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger. We’re getting towards what appears to be the end of Marvel Television with the cancellation of the Hulu Ghost Rider series before production, Agents of SHIELD’s final season to be released next year, and the release of Disney+ with many actually MCU connected series to premiere. Even longtime Marvel Tv President Jeph Loeb has since stepped down from that position. And with the many rumors of various Young Avengers debuting in the MCU, the future of all these youthful heroes appears in question as well.
But interestingly enough, with the new Dawn of X comic series, Morgan le Fay is beginning to play a pretty big role in the Excalibur run which makes me wonder if Marvel Studios might actually like the idea of introducing her as the MCU moves more magical and interdimensional. This series had retconned that all magic on earth actually flows from her and magic users alike similar to the way the Ancient One explained that those at the Sanctum pull energy from other dimensions which is then perceived as magic. With the popularization of Dawn of X and Kevin Feige’s new position as Chief Creative Officer over all Marvel content from comics and shows to films, it could be the actual nuanced way he may look to introduce Mutants in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But overall I do like the Runaways show and I especially love this casting and I look forward to catching up on this series this winter break!

Bad news, Robbie fans. it seems like Ghost Rider series is not happening due to “creative differences”. Such a disappointment, I had high hopes for it.

Hey guys. Some sad news: Hulu’s Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider show has been canceled over unspecified creative differences. Needless to say, it’s a real bummer, but Gabriel Luna, undoubtedly the perfect person to play a character like Robbie, had this to say:
"To everyone who loves Robbie and Ghost Rider, THANK YOU. I’ve had the time of my life playing those two guys and I was ready to rock on the new show. The news was surprising, but I’ve always known that the nature of this business is that until you’re there, on the day, doing the thing it could still go away. Even then, that next day on the job ain’t guaranteed. Thanks to Loeb, @marvel, @felipesmithart and everyone who helped bring Robbie to life on the page and the screen. 🔥💀🔥 I’m focused now on our promotions for @terminator. We’ll be bringing Terminator: Dark Fate to theatres in just over a month! Hope to see everyone there when it opens on The Day of The Dead, Nov. 1st! 🤖💀🤖 ."
