Like okay, maybe a verbal confession of just "I love you" could have worked, but people are mad because "it's ruining the aspec representation" even though it's really not. people can be aspec and kiss like that's a thing? And honestly, for everyone else just waiting for their love to be confirmed in the show it was a huge, powerful moment and the kiss was something that really blew it up to enormous heights that were definitely deserved and it added so much because this is their only romantic experience with anyone ever and it's been millions of years since they first met even if only aziraphale remembers it and it's a crushing moment that deserved some good queer confirmation. it's a huge moment for everyone and I will never ever understand people who feel "let down" by the kiss, and I'm saying this as someone who is aspec as well.

OKAY OKAY so I saw this post abt how like. All the other ninja have like special abilities that are vaguely related to their powers if you like think really hard abt it (Cole has strength, Jay (sort of) has speed, Zane has foresight, and if you really think about it, Nya has the ability to communicate with sea life) and it posed the question of what is Kai’s ability. And like. Yeah yeah they never brought that up huh. SO I HAVE AN IDEA

I see a lot of people say “heat resistance” but that feels so SMALL in comparison to the rest of the cast, Yknow? Zane can see into the future- something that feels completely separate from his element- and Kai is pretty good in sweaty weather. It feels almost unfair, Yknow? But not a base place to start.

Think abt it. All the others feel loosely based off of their element (earth is tough and sturdy, and thus super strength. Lighting is quick and strikes in an instant, so speed. I have nothing to back up ice and foresight.) So how should Kai’s translate. I was thinking like. All consuming? Like how a fire spreads from oil to paper to wood in a fire, taking anything it get ahold of and using it to burn brighter. Kai can take the world around his and adapt to it like a madman. Aka, extremly temperature resistant in general.

Hot as hell? No problem! He’s the fire elemental, obviously he feels at home in the heat! It’s so Cole out that even Zane is freezing, and he’s in a t-shirt and shorts? His blood temperature is higher than a normal person’s, of course he’s fine! The snow melts right off off him, and rainwater evaporates almost as soon as it touches him. He barely even realizes it. Kai really is, in fact, that hot.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? It's still surprising to see people say that when they see the upcoming strike post I made that this is the first time they're hearing about it, especially because I've seen several posts now talking about the same strike.

That being said: regardless of what kind of blog you are, please spread the news about the genocide, the strikes, boycotts, etc.

Even if you are a small blog, spreading word allows for more people to know what's going on and also do their part in protests and strikes, and maybe even the right people will be able to do more than what you're able to do.

And reminder: there is an upcoming strike on February 18th-25th. Prepare accordingly, protest, boycott, call your reps, and spread the word so more people are aware.
