you had to catch your breath.
you’d never been the most athletic person in p.e and it certainly wasn’t going to change then and it certainly won’t now. but as miles eggs you on to keep moving you ignore all the un-athletic bones in your body and push yourself to keep running.
as you reach your destination miles grabs your hand and the two of you creep your way inside. miles begins to mess around with computers as margo tried her hardest with the help of lyla to figure out what on earth was going on.
as miles scanned his eyes he pulled you into his arms, “you okay?” he asked as you nodded, “for now, as long as miguel-”
and to your luck he barrelled through the doors at the exact moment you uttered his name. “bloody mary much?” you muttered under your breath as you took a step back.
and as he clawed and fought his way in your hand tightened its grip on miles’s. “it’s okay, he’s not getting in y/n/n. it’s okay.” and as he reassured you to the best of his abilities you couldn’t help but feel grateful. he always put you first, no matter what.
always made sure you and his family were okay.
and his reassurance managed to calm you down as margo looked up at the two of you, her finger hovering over the reboot button but as she looked between the miles and you, she couldn’t help but aid the two of you. as miles pulled his mask over his face, you saw the pure rage painted over miguel’s face and you couldn’t help your indignation towards the man.
but you didn’t see him for long as the pair of you were sucked out of the room and travelling at the speed of light (or so it seemed) to freedom.
the lights were harsh on your eyes.
as you adjusted to the luminosity of the neon signs you looked to your right to see miles on the floor.
“miles? miles!” you rushed over and rolled his body over as he coughed, “i’m okay, i’m okay. how about you?” you smiled, “i’m fine babe. we made it, we made it home miles.” you cried as you engulfed him in a hug.
he smiled as he reciprocated, “thanks to you y/n. but we needa get goin okay?” you nodded as you stood and helped him up by his arms.
“hold on tight.”
you’d honestly forgotten how nice the cold air felt on your face. the thrill of swinging through the city, passing people by as they stared in wonder, slinging by and grabbing a few treats on the way, yours and miles’s normal routine almost everyday in the past six months. you never knew you could miss a place so much.
but being with the spider society and being at the HQ managed to make you deeply homesick.
as you neared miles’s home you felt a weight being lifted off of your chest.
you were almost there.
you had gotten home in time.
you’d save mr morales, be allowed to call him jeff and his wife rio, miles would have his father, he’d continue being spider-man, the two of you would move to new jersey (fingers crossed), miles would study something new (seeing as the two of you have had your fill of other universes in the past few days), you’d study journalism, you’d get your own place, travel, live and love.
together.
as you got to his rooms window you held on to the ledge as miles opened the window and carefully guided you in. you’d never expected to feel so elated at seeing his single bed, his action figures and posters, everything. but as you entered, the waves of fatigue messed with your head to the point where you managed to overlook the contents of his room.
you were so exhausted you didn’t even manage to make it to the bed and relaxed in-front of it in the corner. as you looked around you couldn’t help but frown. it looked, different.
some things were missing such as all the posters and figurines. you chalked it up to mrs morales packing them away perhaps, or miles moving them to his own place.
as you slowly drifted off you missed the creak of the door opening.
Tumblr media
rio walked through the door with her laundry basket clung to her hip.
miles turned around quickly, relieved to see his mother. “ah mom, you don’t know how happy i am to see you.” rio furrowed her eyebrows as her son ran over to smother her in a tight hug. it’d been so long since he’d acted so.
and was his hair out?
he seemed shorter too.
what on earth has this boy been up to?
as he rambled on explaining himself she couldn’t help but smile. he seemed so, innocent. before everything, before the pain, before the loss, before it all happened, before he changed, permanently, before her.
“miles, i think it’s cute your into uh what’s it called cosplay? you one of them comics-con kids?”
“what’s that? i- no, this isn’t cosplay ma.”
as she walks into another room miles stands frozen as his uncle aaron walks into the home. albeit a different version of his uncle aaron but it doesn’t change the way miles’s hands are sweating, his heart threatening to implode.
as aaron rested a pile of cash on the table miles stared in awe. “you ready to go miles? damn you took your braids out? what’s going on man?” he joked as he walked to the door his hand gesturing miles to follow along. “yeah lemme just grab something and i’ll be there.”
miles shook you awake and asked you to follow along but not too closely.
you were perplexed as to why but followed along nonetheless. as you made it to the door you saw aaron in-front of miles. and suddenly something came at miles, knocking him out.
you ran to him, “miles! shit, are you okay?” you felt your chest tighten as he didn’t respond, his finger tips twitched yet he was unresponsive. “fuck what the hell did you do aaron?”
aaron couldn’t believe his eyes.
how- what?
you were there. sitting, cradling miles’s body in your arms as you stared up at him.
alive.
“y/n?”
it was a whisper. but you caught it. “no i’m the fuckin sun. yes it’s y/n.” you said as you continued to inspect miles, looking for any signs of injury.
“you want her too?”
your head snapped up as you heard aaron speak again, he was looking behind you and you honestly didn’t have the energy to see someone else right now but as you looked back you wished this was a bad dream.
the prowler.
he stood tall, not as tall as aaron but at least a few inches more so than miles. his suit was a little different, his claws sharper and his mask. he nodded towards aaron, yes.
it was as frightening as aaron’s. aaron. if he was right infront of you you then who the hell was thi-
your head was throbbing so much, but you were currently being tended to. or, you thought you were. someone was lightly dabbing a wet cloth on your forehead, your head was supported by something, it was nice.
when you built the strength to open your eyes you saw miles. “arriba mi vida.” you squinted. “what?” you saw a slight smile on his face, “try to get up.” miles wrapped his hand around your neck, cradling it as you attempted to get up.
you rested against the cold wall as you took in the environment around you. “where are we?” you asked miles as you tried focusing your eyes, you swore you saw the outline of someone tied to a, was that a boxing bag? the light from the window behind them illuminated their outline, their face left unknown.
“shh, está bien y/n.”
“miles you know i cant speak spanish that well.”
“i’m sorry, i forgot. you feelin’ okay ma?”
as you were about to respond the body tied to the bag started to move and mumble, causing you to actually realise that someone was tied up. your eyes were adjusted now and as you looked around and settled on miles’s face you couldn’t help but frown.
“since when do you wear braids miles? and do you honestly think this is the right time to try out a new hair style?” you questioned as he got up, “you don’t like my braids? you use to do em all the time ma.”
your eyebrows furrowed as the body finally came into focus, and you saw-
miles?
you slowly rose from your spot on the floor and looked back and forth from both miles’s. the one in front of you had a certain way to him. his shoulders straightened, taller than usual, hardened face, he seemed so, formal.
whilst your miles was a sloucher most times, not short but he didn’t tower over everyone, usually with a smile donning his face and always easy going.
“i- you.” the words scrambled out and you had no idea what was going on. all you knew was that you needed to get out of here. as you walked towards what you had assumed to be your miles, other miles grabbed your hand and yanked you back.
“whatchu doing?”
“i was seeing my miles. what are you doing? why did you tie him up?”
“can’t exactly have someone running around my streets with my face now can i?”
“okay, i understand that miles but you need to let me go. we need to get back to our universe otherwise mr morales is gonna- and we can’t let that happen you know that. untie him. please.”
“why would i do that shit? what’s so special about him? why does he get to have everything so good? his school, his friends, his family- you.” other miles was getting a little too close for your liking and you found yourself backed up against the wall. not a great position to be in when completely helpless and tired as hell against someone who could probably throw you across the room.
his hand came to your face as he pushed away a stray strand of hair from your eyes. “i- did we- did you date someone like me?”
“not someone like you ma, i dated you.”
“no you dated another version of me. that’s not me, that’s her, wherever she is i’m sure she missed you and if you picked up the phone and called-”
“she’s dead.”
your eyes widened, “i- i’m sorry for you. and for her. i’m sure you loved her a lot but, i’m not her. you’re not my miles, my miles is right there. and i love him. please you have to let us- me go. y/n wouldn’t have wanted this for you i’m sure of it.”
“you gonna tell me she wanted me to be happy?”
“uh i’d assume she wanted that for you. i’m sure you guys were amazing together miles.” you smiled as you tried to suppress your fear. it was hard to, you could feel it slowly creeping in, the miles in front of you was hypnotising, his eyes were warm so warm you could feel them burning into yours. he was absolutely gorgeous, the soft glow from the night life outside highlighting his face. he was so gorgeous it was insane as well as scary. he took your breath away, the same way your miles did.
“we were, and we will be again.”
“i’m not so sure you can bring people back from the dead. i understand you miss her but you need to let her go and move on. speaking of moving on miles and i should be moving on back to our universe so if you would so kindly-”
“i got her right here ma.”
his grip on your hand tightened as he somehow got closer. all the air had apparently hopped out of the room since you felt your chest tighten.
“no me dejarás de nuevo mi vida. your staying with me, here.”
“You won’t leave me again my life.”
“stop it, i understand you’re hurting but please just-” you tried with all your strength to push him away but his feet were planted firmly into the floor, as still as a statue and you couldn’t help but cry.
you’d escaped one place to be potentially imprisoned in another.
“shh, shh y/n/n. i got you right here.” he held you as you sobbed, praying your miles would wake up soon and save the two of you.
as miles held onto you he couldn’t help but feel his tensions and sorrow seep into the floor as he held you again after all this time and as he did he couldn’t help but whisper,
“you’re mine mi amor,
all mine.”

and so it goes (miguel o’hara x spiderman!reader)
Tumblr media
hi note this is a fic specifically for transmasc readers. don’t come anywhere near this if you’re a cis woman. you have a million fics you can read that aren’t this one. thank you 🍻
@spokentothewoods here you go ☺️
WARNINGS: Angst, slightly sexual situations >:)
That ever-present tenseness is visible in his shoulders; in truth, you don’t think you’ve ever seen him without it, for as many years as you’ve been working with him. You’ve been working late tonight and could really use a break yourself, but with Jess away for an ultrasound, someone had to stay behind and keep an eye on Miguel.
Perhaps you volunteered for the job a tad too hastily, if the smirk Hobie had flashed in your direction was any indication, but Hobie’s always smirking at things. You’ve gotten pretty used to it.
In any case, even Margo’s signed off for the night. You know Miguel’s the Big Boss In Charge, but…couldn’t he benefit from some chill time?
“That’s it,” you say, yawning. “That’s the last of the logs done. Think I’ll turn in for the night.”
Miguel says nothing. He either is so immersed in his work that he didn’t hear you, or he’s ignoring you - both are likely in their own way.
After a moment’s more of silence, you frown, and web yourself up to his platform. He’s always brooding, that’s pretty normal, but…
Oh, you realize, because you recognize the video footage he’s watching. You’ve never seen it yourself, but you know what it is, where Miguel came from. You know why he is the way that he is.
You contemplate leaving and pretending you saw nothing, but then Miguel turns his head and fixes you with his dark, exhausted eyes, and it’s too late to act innocent.
“Sorry,” you say quietly. “I didn’t mean to interrupt. You just…”
“What.” He phrases the word as a statement, not a question. “I just what.”
You sigh. “I worry about you, Miguel. I mean, when you first found me in my universe…you were sad, sure, but you weren’t this angry. I don’t know what changed, but if you ever need to talk…”
“I don’t.” His stare is fixed somewhere past your shoulder, his jaw hard as steel. “Nothing changed. I’m fine.”
“Oh, bullshit,” you tell him, and you can’t help but roll your eyes. “How long have we known each other? I know when you’re lying to me.”
Miguel shakes his head. He’s been working with Jess the longest and all the Spiders respect him as their leader, but he’s never gotten as close to anyone as he has to you. You know this because he told you so himself, a year ago when MJ was killed and you were stumbling around HQ in a haze, the big empty pit in your stomach threatening to swallow you whole.
We all lose people, he’d told you, his voice the gentlest you’d ever heard it. But we persevere. You’re strong, Y/N. You can survive this.
I bet you tell all the Spiders they’re your favorite, you’d joked half-heartedly, desolate and depressed, sure you were right. But Miguel had given you this look that had told you plainly: I am completely serious. And then he’d started to say something, stopped as if he’d thought better of himself, and swung away.
You don’t know what he’d been about to tell you…though maybe you kind of do. The pair of you have never necessarily been the emotionally vulnerable types, but the connection between you is one that cannot be denied.
“I’m fine,” he’s repeating now, still hiding from the truth. “Just tired.”
“Which is exactly why you should call it for the night. You’ve done plenty.”
“I haven’t done enough.”
“Look, just…” You exhale deeply, pull off your mask so you can meet him eye-to-eye. You don’t miss the slight change in his demeanor when you bare your face, the fleeting look of quick relief. “Do you…want a massage or something?”
He blinks. “What.”
“I asked if you wanted a - “
“I heard you.”
You quirk an eyebrow. “Ok. So? Your shoulders could really use it, dude.”
“I…” You can pinpoint the exact moment he decides to give in, posture slumped and scowl deepening. “…Fine.”
He turns back to face the screens - thankfully, the video from before is long gone. Miguel says nothing for a long time, ‘til he finally snaps, “Well?”
You lay your hands on his shoulders. You’re no trained masseuse, but your Aunt May does a wicked back rub and you’re sure you can replicate her technique, more or less. And so you try.
Are all shoulder muscles this knotted? Or is Miguel just overworking himself per usual? You’re not sure, but you press as hard as you dare, first with your fingertips, then kneading in and out with your knuckles. Miguel is silent as you work. The only sound he makes is the measured course of his breathing, up-down, up-down, up-down. You can feel it thrumming through your neurons, slow and steady.
“What, sorry?” You didn’t catch what Miguel just mumbled under his breath.
“Can you - go harder?” he repeats, practically spitting the words. He sounds as exhausted as you’ve ever heard him.
Wordlessly, you begin to apply even more pressure, and Miguel moans. You’ve never heard him make a noise like that before, and in your shock, you start and almost back away from him entirely. You manage to keep your wits, though, and you press again in the same spot, feeling the knot aching to unravel beneath his skin.
“Y/N,” he groans - but before you can begin to wrap your head around that, Miguel’s body is freezing up under your fingertips, and suddenly, he’s wrenching himself away from you.
“Woah - you ok?” You drop your hands to dangle by your hips, but you can still feel the buzz in your head, concentrated and slightly painful like a migraine, a hit off a cigarette.
“You should go,” Miguel says quietly, his back to you. “This…you should just go.”
“Ok.” You’re finding it hard to breathe, beneath all the spandex and bindings and confusion. “Did I do something wrong?”
“No.”
“Did I hurt you?”
“No.”
“Then what the hell is the prob - “
“GO, Y/N,” Miguel seethes, his hands tightening into fists at his sides. “Just leave me alone.”
You scowl. “Fine.” Pulling your mask down over your face again, you shoot a strand of web over in the opposite direction, pull yourself through the air until you land against the wall and cling there. “Fine, Miguel. Whatever you want. As usual.”
If he looks back at you as you leave, you don’t know. At the moment, you’re too hurt and angry to waste another thought on him.

Hey hey, MIles gets jealous a lot in this movie, buuuuuut what if we talk about Gwen? 👀
Oh ho ho, I know there has been memes and stuff about that, but sure, let's talk about it.
Tumblr media
I know we all mentioned jealousy coming from Miles, but I think is kind of poetic, but also hilarious, how quickly we go from Miles's jealousy to Gwen's.
Specially if we go with the fact that once again, while Gwen doesn't really own any explanations to Miles here, nor has she done anything wrong by being friends with Hobie.
(Also look at Hobie, I want you to remember that. Also he is amazing so he deserves the extra attention.)
Yet what is her reaction?
Tumblr media
"Oh, not that many."
I swear, I am trying not to laugh.
See what I mean? Gwen is not only aware that Miles is jealous, she is still is trying to downplay it; even when she is convinced they can't work, she doesn't want Miles to misunderstand her feelings; which she has tried to hide, but I think at this point she knows she isn't doing a good job at it.
(The entire clock scene was very close to a confession let's be honest.)
Also, about Hobie, remember how I was bringing attention to him in the first image? Yeah I am still not sure what to do with it.
Let me be honest with you guys, to get these images I do a lot of slow-motion, which also helps to let certain frames sink better and be sure that I am not just making up what I am seeing; since a lot of these moments are things that last seconds. Very blink-it and you miss it.
And while looking at this particular part, I realized Hobie's expression when he was still were...interesting.
Look part of the reason looking at frames matter in animation is because in real life; an actor could had looked at one direction because he saw a crew member do a funny face, but in animation, when you need to recreate the scene for scratch and will probably be staring at this scene a lot to ensure is up to standard, things tend to have a bit more meaning.
That being said, if you look the scene to normal speed, is extremely fast. Maybe too much for the animators to intend for us to notice something.
So what I am trying to say is that I wonder if Hobie is purposely setting Miles off, and if he is doing so, I honestly think is just to mess with them a little.
Moving on!
Tumblr media
If I am honest, you could almost believe Gwen just wants to move on because Miguel is waiting for them and the guy is already aggro, that was my first impression at least, until I re watched and realized that they are just seeing a demonstration before going to Miguel, so they are 1) Really giving Miles a tour, and 2) Stalling. Which doesn't match going straight to the boss.
Also Gwen's voice; the first time I saw this I remember being surprised that Gwen was asking to start moving because before this point she didn't seem to be worried. Her tone definitely sounds a bit exasperated, specially considering again how little they actually seem to care to get to Miguel.
So yeah, Gwen DEFINITELY was asking to keep moving because Miles' was attention was too much in somebody.
Let's rewind a bit because let's face it, I don't blame Gwen for being jealous.
Tumblr media
I wish my computer had a way to render a little video without imploding because oh this takes a hot second and yep Miles definitely was looking at Margo a little awestruck.
Let me preface this saying I will not tolerate any Hate to Margo or to Flowerbyte or the shippers. She is great, and I will not tolerate ship wars here.
That being said, Miles definitely is looking a little too much at Margo; I partially thing Miles was a bit shocked because it has been a while since his spider sense got receptive to other spider (which happened a lot in the first movie, not so much in this one for meeting so many spiders.)
But again, I don't think is crazy to say she caught his attention.
No, I don't think Miles is doing anything wrong here, just like Gwen didn't do anything wrong before. They aren't dating, Gwen tried to shut that down, and is not like Miles is trying to upset Gwen or anything. He was just caught off-guard.
Regardless, just like I cannot blame Miles for being jealous of Hobie, I can't blame Gwen for being jealous of Margo.
She hides it better than Miles for sure, but like everything else she does, it comes back to the details and her actions.
Remember, they aren't particularly in a hurry, and she suddenly sounds exasperated out of nowhere. Hmm.
Now, the next moment is very blink and you miss it, I barely had the chance to notice while going in slow motion, but between Gwen telling Miles to move on, and Miles looking at Margo's avatar, this is Gwen's face.
Tumblr media
Is very fast, probably the type of thing you don't pick up in theatres, but damn, I am cackling.
I guess she really wasn't expecting Margo to get such reaction out of Miles.
This a good moment to say, that while looking at this, you can see Gwen doesn't have any ill-will towards Margo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unlike the previous moment, this expression of her stays for a good moment; I remember that upon first stumbling with the confirmation that Gwen is jealous of Margo, I was shocked to see that expression on her, almost like she herself remembered that Margo situation is far from perfect.
I am SO thankful with the creators for making sure that neither from Miles nor Gwen, we get the plot line of one of them being jerks out of jealousy. Yeah Miles briefly tried to be spiteful towards Hobie, but didn't take long too change his tune, not to mention that Hobie really didn't mind.
And Gwen at any moment is shown to be bitter towards Margo, regardless if Miles was doing puppy eyes at her or not.
Tumblr media
I just realized now, that Gwen is actually the first one to say they should go.
I really believe part of this was because the go-home-machine was looking a bit perverse. Even Margo looks a bit unsure of what to do of this, so it makes me wonder if is normal for it to look this painful.
(Sidenote, considering Miles and Gwen looked okay when they got out from this machine, I think Rhino was in pain because he was glitching at that moment. That would explain Margo looking like this if it was "normal.")
It doesn't escape me that Miles' reaction is the most shock one, no idea if Gwen could had picked on that being behind Miles, but maybe she realized Miles didn't particularly enjoy seeing that.
However, what happens next?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here, I can only show it properly with this gif.
Tumblr media
I want also to reiterate, that "Let's go!" Was from Hobie, I think he was trying to warn Miles.
Because Gwen didn't repeat herself, she deadass just sent a web and YANK HIM.
Again, wanting to go see Miguel my ass, you guys didn't seem particularly interested on that before. Not to mention that hey, you can see she isn't asking anymore and considering how she was looking at Miles from behind I don't think is because she doesn't want to be late.
Is a bit too small to take a proper capture, and hard to see, but yep, she looks mad.
I love how Margo laughs after this, like sure, Miles is endearing, but I also bet my left kidney she also clocked Gwen's crush extremely quickly because of this.
I almost expect Margo and Pavitr discuss who is crushing harder in the sequel.
Sorry for making this so freaking long and with so many sideways, but I think I needed to point out a few things, hope didn't bored anyone!
Keep suggesting moments!

Peni Parker Headcanons
There are multiple snacks in her robot, in different compartments; she insists they are for her but in reality, she keeps so much variety for her friends.
Her sleep schedule is basically nonexistent; she would hyperfocus on a project for whatever hours her energy drink can keep her awake and then pass out for days. She spends so much time indoors on labs she normally has no concept of time.
Noir was the first spider she found when she crashed on Earth 1610 in ITSV; they helped each other navigate Miles' New York since both of their universes are different time periods and they were confused as heck. They ended up becoming close for that reason.
Noir sees Peni as an adoptive daughter and Peni sees him as a father figure, but neither of them had admitted that to each other. Noir doesn't want to come across as crass by suggesting being her father when she lost her biological one. Peni doesn't want to make things uncomfortable by forcing that role on him.
Uses she/they pronouns.
She is also bi, this was her awakening
Tumblr media
Super embarrassed about it though, so she is planning to keep that to herself to her grave.
She needs to be in her suit at all times in the Spider Society. Mostly because of the different halls that need the spider to be upside down or at an awkward angles. However the first few days she refused to show her face because she continued to be flustered.
"Why all the spiders around my age are attractive!? Here I am being an awkward plain twig around runaway models."
"Oh don't say that, you are cute sugarplum."
"Noir you are making me sound like a little kid."
"Come to think wasn't that guy Gwen brought with her an ex-runaway model-"
"SEE!?"
"Thanks for that B."
(Since they have the same name, Noir calls Peter B well, B.)
Peni went to see Noir first after she got her watch, then shortly after went to see Ham with Noir. Noir and Ham aren't part of the organization (Noir said he didn't the like way Miguel was running things once he heard about it, and Ham didn't vibe with the idea either.) She visits them regularly though.
She likes to give Noir cute colourful key chains when she visits; Noir actually has them on a cork board on display.
Current events in Peni's timeline had made her try to lean more on the Spidey side of things, dropping less and less frequently on her own universe. Noir has tried to mitigate this, but Peni interprets it as him not wanting to be around her. Noir also doesn't have the details of what happened to Peni either.
She actually has her own room in Noir's universe. Is technically the guest room, but Noir has actually worked his best to make it homey for her and would rather give up his own bed that let people get in "her" room without her permission. Peni is unaware of that last bit.
She has a MASSIVE crush on Margo, it all started with her going to the help with the go-home machine and feeling the most comfortable with Margo since their time periods are similar enough.
Peni actually is very insecure about herself and her position as a spider person. Even if she was accepted into the Society, she feels kind of left out because everyone else can stick to walls, super healing, as well as other array of powers; while she only has her psychic link to the spider and a robot.
That's another reason why Margo and her connected so well; she understands not feeling special enough considering her Spidey persona is an avatar, while she is a regular human too.
She is fairly close to Gwen too, while neither of them likes to be too vulnerable, they both understand what losing people and having complicated feelings about your home dimension. They may or may not talk about their crushes, hard to say because both of them deny it.
Edit:
Tumblr media
Indeed Gwen later would also insist a big part of the reason she did it was because of Peni.
That's it for all, I didn't think I had that many but that's how it always starts.

flowerbyte headcanons
Cuz the tag empty as hell and I am their self-appointed PR manager
Tumblr media
It's one thing to think the other is cute. It's another thing to actually get to *know* them.
At first they bond over shared hobbies. Normal kiddie stuff like molecular physics, nothing too crazy
That is, until Miles asks a question that's juuust crossing the line between "okay" and "too personal"
That's when he realizes that Margo likes to keep people at an arm's length.
Which he only partially gets, because they've all got a secret identity to hide, and mental health issues to hide from their parents until they hit 18
But shouldn't it be different with him?
Okay now that all the people who were looking for fluff have left
Margo doesn't like to discuss feelings. They're messy and u can't program them to do what u want 💔 she likes to hide behind mild sarcasm and large sanrio plushies
If Miles hadn't asked her out first then she would've been content with an eternity of soft glances and awkward flirting
Miles is marginally better at feelings. In fact, there is no point at which she's unaware of how he feels about something
It's comforting. And terrifying
All of this is to say that their whole early relationship dynamic is trying to open up to each other while trying to keep the space-time continuum from falling apart like a Nature Valley bar
You know what's even more difficult than that? Inviting your bf that you've been interacting with via virtual avatar for like a year to your dimension
But it's fine. Miles makes a lot of bad jokes about the transition to color television in the 50s, tells her she's pretty, and it's fine.
He asks Margo about her favorite movies and shows so that he can psychoanalyze her and fine-tune his recommendations
She offers to fix all of his "vintage" electronics because they're a "historical marvel" or something
They're both annoying as hell together. God forbid you say something and they both take turns infodumping to you about The Thing like a neurodivergent tag team
Autism vs ADHD
Unstoppable force vs Immovable object. Miles is incredibly stubborn and needs things to happen in a Very Specific Way and Margo does shit in a completely different order every time and somehow they make it work
Those are all my brainrot thoughts for now feel free 2 add on if u want [disappears in a cloud of smoke]

THANK YOU FOR ASKING! I have been dying to talk about it. @banyanas
Tumblr media
Sasha Waybright was traumatized before amphibia even happened, and here's why (coming from someone who is studying to be a psychologist and also has trauma):
Notes:
I am only going based off of things that are canon, and while I do have headcanons and suspicions on what exactly her trauma is, I don't have canon evidence to back it up, so I'm just going to go over the SYMPTOMS of trauma I see in her
Cognitively and behaviorally, Sasha is not normal. I feel like a lot of people see her blonde mean girl Californian cheerleader traits and just sort of assume she's your stereotypical mean girl. What they fail to remember is that Sasha is 13, and her motivations are different. Sasha is not a mean girl in the sense that she is mean to others for power or just to be mean. Sasha does use her social status occasionally (Ie threatening Margo w not inviting her to her pool party in the reunion flashback scene), however Sasha's mean acts do have a purpose. Sasha believes that she alone knows whats best, and to help those that she loves, she needs to take full control. She feels like Anne can ONLY have a good birthday if they skip school. She believes that they can ONLY go home if they execute Hop Pop. She believes that they can ONLY be happy if Sasha has control of amphibia and the box. She feels like the only way to take care of people and herself, is to be in complete control, and that is extremely common in victims of trauma who feel like they can't trust or rely on anyone.
Her manipulation skills are also developmentally abnormal. A well adjusted 13 year old with no adverse life experiences would not have such an extensive history of manipulating. In Jail break, Sasha says that a tactic she uses all the time is to "Make everyone love you, and they'll do whatever you say." Sasha has the ability to talk her way out of almost any negative situation and easily take charge. This is also really common in people with trauma and an unstable life. Often times, someone might have to talk their way out of being harmed, or to have their needs met that weren't otherwise.
Sasha has a complicated relationship with the concept of family. She has not mentioned her parents even once throughout the show, whereas Anne and Marcy have. In the reunion flashback, Sasha acts as if Anne going home to her parents is a bad thing. She remarks on how babyish Anne's party is, and she doesn't seem to understand that it's not even the party Anne wants, but to spend time with her family. In True Colors, Sasha says in a cutting tone "Say hi to your parents for me" as she thinks that she's sending Anne back to earth forever. Her tone implies irritation that Anne even has parents she wants to go home to, and perhaps even jealousy.
Sasha was fully prepared to live in and rule amphibia once she took over Newtopia in true colors. She did not want to go home after not seeing earth or her family in 5 months.
When Marcy confesses, Sasha's first thought is anger at the betrayal, not missing her home.
Back on the topic of what's developmentally normal, I found the scene of when Sasha first met Anne and Marcy interesting, although I could be reaching. Once baby Sasha aggressively gets the bullies off the the swings, she starts to walk away. She is surprised when Anne and Marcy introduce themselves and ask if she wants to play with them. At 5 years old, Sasha had the idea that she was only useful and wanted when she was doing something for other people. At 5 years old, a person without adverse experiences would not have this mindset.
The Marcy journal filled in some of the gaps about her parents. It confirmed the theory we all had since froggy little Christmas that Sasha's parents are divorced, and had been divorced since she was "4 or 5". Her father remarried and her mother has a long term boyfriend with kids of his own. In this entry, Anne says that she didn't know a ton about Sasha's home life and Sasha has always been very private about it. She says that Sasha always felt "lost at sea when it comes to family" and speculated that maybe that's why Sasha always kept her and Marcy under her thumb. This entry really hit gold in terms of understanding Sasha because it's when a bunch of possibilities clicked into place when I first read it. Sasha, Anne, and Marcy, despite having issues, were very close. The fact that Sasha didn't share anything about her homelife in the 8 years they were friends, is a HUGE red flag. Divorce is not inherently trauma, however if it's handled poorly, then it can be very bad and traumatic. Even if you take away the possibility of Sasha being directly abused, it's still really difficult to watch her parents fight before and during the divorce process. The state of California typically likes to give 50/50 custody, so it's difficult for her to go back and forth to her parents houses while watching them get into new relationships. She felt lost at sea and abandoned during all of it, and she felt like she couldn't even tell her best friends. In situations like this, especially so young, a person really can develop and strong and tough exterior, while also learning skills for manipulation and taking control when you feel you're in a situation that is out of your control. Sasha Waybright is 13 years old, and she was able to immediately become a Lieutenant to the toad army and then later a Commander of a resistance during a war. Sasha Waybright has numerous markers of someone who has gone through a life of uncertainty, abandonment, hurt, and neglect.

Remember this is only my opinion you can disagree;]
I don’t know if anyone will agree but, I hate the yaoi fanart of Hannigram and Lacho. As a guy who is actively involved in the Hannibal and Better Call Saul / Breaking Bad fandoms, I am really not comfortable with these types of art. The characters aren’t ruined but it seems as if people miss completely the point of the shows.
Lacho is just… meh and shouldn’t be a ship. Like BRO THEY HAVE NO CHEMISTRY (in my opinion) and I know it’s hard to say, but Nacho Varga and Lalo Salamanca are straight men… who deal drugs and are just cool criminals. I get that there’s not a lot of people you can ship in this fandom, but these are just cool characters and y’all are ruining them with your horny bullshit.
Edit: I removed the lacho tag, you can stop commenting about me being rude. Damn y’all like to attack people who don’t have the same opinion as you.
Hannigram is a ship and it’s a very cool one! I like it, but when it’s done correctly:
There’s 3 whole seasons cooking this delicious soup of nuanced interest between Hannibal and Will. I love this series, especially as an asexual, because it shows sexual intimacy in a much more complex way and from a completely different perspective. At least, it is different from how we usually see it in media.
This intimacy is here to make us observe, these people; them and only them, in the rawest selves, between each other. That’s why it is so important. NBC Hannibal shows different characters in these moments, adding music and interesting visuals; they play with colours and sounds of fungus. Every scene is just so cool to watch and not as awkward as it usually is. I like how it looks like, people are merging in one. Sex scenes, like Alana with Hannibal and Margo with Will’s intimate shots, can also portray something that is happening subconsciously outside the very scene, disassociated from the moment.
(Hannibal spoilers season 3, 13 episode!!!)
Now, the coolest thing is that the relationship between the murder husbands doesn’t need sex. In my opinion, it’s purely intellectual! When it get’s physical its because they’re both killing the dragon. That was their intimate connection, the first time truly being with each other, not divided by two sides. They are one, together versus the dragon. After that, Will sees Hannibal; by that I mean that he sees his whole nature, and he can’t go back. His family is an illusion of something normal, but Will has reached something greater. After feeling Hannibal’s way of viewing the world he feels that he belongs. Of course, after realising that he is now with Lecter; that they are not understood by the world they exist in, both of them need to become even greater than their actual form. They had to die because their love is spiritual. By transcending into a bodyless form.
Hannibal, for me is the sanest character, he is always fine. The only moment when he’s not alright, is when Will “betrays him”. In Florence, Dr. Lecter is reckless, he kills a lot more than he needs to. He sees people, who he consumes, as pigs. It doesn’t feel bad killing them, because they’re just little animals walking around. He of course enjoys their company, humans can be befriended and he spends time with them with pleasure. It is still possible to eat them, except Will. Lecter, after Grahams betrayal, doesn’t trust him anymore. He does not want to show his true self to him anymore. Hannibal regrets opening up after he truly thought that he could be understood. So, Dr. Lecter convinces himself that Will is also just some meat. Yet again, seeing Will, after Florence, being on the same side, when they’re both confronted by Mason, Hannibal sees Will as a partner. A partner in a love crime.
SO NOW PLEASE FUCK OFF WITH YOUR PENCIL DRAWING OF NBC CHARACTERS FUCKING EACH OTHER /ref (welcome to the internet by Bo Burnham)
P.S. I realy like cute mini comics those are cool and funny keep doing them 💪
Again only my opinion, you can disagree, I literally don’t care. I would like to know your opinion actually!

spider-byte headcanons
while this blends her singular intro comic, elements of the movie, and my own thoughts, this shouldn't really have any spoilers. still, if you haven't watched across the spiderverse, read with caution
Tumblr media
anyway Earth-22191 in my personal content is basically The Matrix. Hear me out.
Essentially, if you crossed over into Earth-22191, every person you would encounter is either a person hooked up to what I am tentatively calling the World Computer or a simulation so perfectly constructed that it is impossible to tell the difference. Unlike the Matrix however, everyone knows this and it is distressing. You ever heard of philosophical zombies? It's a whole thing, but for these people, an uncertain number of people around them - even their own parents - used to seem like behavioral zombies to them:
Tumblr media
Endless paranoia ensued about this and being a cog in a giant machine for centuries, so scientists worked hard to find a solution. They settled on virtual reality. More specifically, they settled on an extra layer of virtual reality. The aim was to continually give people access to various forms of virtual reality that were fantastical and abstract so paranoia would die down and socialization would flourish. Once this was successful, society was reconfigured to incorporate this technology as much as possible. It allowed this world of expendable tech parts to escape into worlds that soothed their minds.
Enter Margo Kess, a... let's say fifth generation teen post the advent of this VR tech. To us, her attachment to her headset would be seen as unhealthy. She uses it as much as the current legal limit allows, only stopping when absolutely necessary (sleeping, bathing, walking to class). But, in her world, her avoidance is normal. Why have that boring family discussion in your dining room when you can all meet up on a simulated beach and have it in paradise?
Earth-22191's reality is one where socialization and education mostly occur by necessity in cyberspace. Unfortunately, so does crime.
Flesh crimes, as they're called, are on a steep decline. This is mainly because they bore people. Stabbing someone in PERSON? Ew. Who does that? It's so gauche. Hacking into your worst enemy's locked server and carefully drowning them with mods you managed to find and downloaded? Now that's fun and compelling. It's a new age of catfishing, thievery, and murder. As the one and only Spider-Byte, Margo tries her best to address complex crimes of passion and fraud. She's a vigilante, so she doesn't exactly work with the Cybercrimes Division. Instead, it's more like a game where the best of you can adapt on the fly, split yourself in two, and code like no one else has ever seen.
Other random details:
The Databank is a structure located inexplicably both in the true reality, the not true reality, and the modified false reality. It displays ever changing text and code. Some worship it as a god and spend years trying to translate its ‘wisdom’. Pilgrimages occur
Miguel worked with Margo to be able to project her digital self across dimensional lines, not really out of the goodness of his heart, but because she would be a liability otherwise
the Databank is strange. No matter what filter you put over it in the modified reality it never changes. It’s tall. Sleek. Shiny. Almost slimy. All black and jutting out of any landscape without a clear reason
its lights pulse like a heart
Margo HAS friends, we see them in her comic debut. But she’s not very good at socializing in person. This spider rescue team delights her only because she gets to do that! Except… her body is in another dimension-
all non-humans you can think of (mutants, Inhumans, etc) are called Bugs. This isn’t that bad of a term. It’s just because they display code deviations that weren’t intended by God, in the eyes of Databank worshippers anyway. Margo's a Bug
her Green Goblin is Normie Osborn trying endlessly to impress his grandfather and failing, it's kinda sad. said grandfather is now preparing to be the first person to enter this VR space full time… hm
that's all for now

Hi there! I hope you guys are doing well.
I've been a questioning system on and off for the past long while, and was just wondering - is it normal to feel like it's difficult to think about? Not in an anxiety or "I don't want to think about it" way, but in a "I want to think about it and understand better but it feels like there is a physical barrier in my brain preventing me from thinking about it too hard or reaching out to any potential headmates?" It's starting to get really frustrating.
It takes a lot of concentration and effort to be able to reach out, and when I am able to, I rarely get responses, and they're normally just one-word replies where it's almost hard to tell if I got a reply at all or if I'm just psyching myself out.
I was just wondering if y'all had any advice or thoughts? Is this normal? Does this mean anything? I don't know what to do, or if I'm actually a system at all (I have all of the symptoms of PDID but can't tell if it's actually PDID or just a compound of a bunch if other symptoms from other stuff) and I'm really lost. Any advice that any of y'all have would be monumentally helpful.
Also, I just wanted to say thank you for the amount of resources y'all have on this blog. I've found so many of them so helpful, so, just, thank all of you so much. I hope y'all have a wonderful day :)
Hi! The short answer to your question is yes, this is very normal, especially for systems with dissociative disorders or those who have dissociative barriers between headmates.
Our host also seriously struggled to establish and build contact and communication between us at first - and that’s even just with our established core fronting group! It took a lot of effort, patience, and work in therapy for us to reach the level of communication we have today. Even now, there are quite a few alters in our system who many of us do not have access to. At this point, we’ve learned to take things slow and try not to rush to bring down those barriers. We’re focusing on moving forward a little bit at a time, and that’s honestly been quite effective for us!
We’d encourage you, if you haven’t already, to start journalling, and encourage other potential parts, alters, or headmates to write in the journal as well. Even if you can’t get in touch with them, reminding yourself that the journal is for everyone and leaving it in an easily accessible place might allow your headmates to start expressing themselves and attempt to get to know each other even if y’all aren’t able to contact each other well inside just yet.
We also have this post on establishing contact with headmates - maybe it’ll be helpful for y’all?
Please don’t stress too much if no one writes in the journal or you don’t hear back from any headmates straight away. Again, this process takes plenty of time and patience! Honestly we’d say give it a few months of attempts before you start to grow discouraged. Also, having access to a qualified therapist who you trust can be immensely beneficial for getting through to headmates, especially at first!
And if it turns out you’re not actually a system, remember that’s okay!! That is totally fine. You mentioned PDID, which means you might have PTSD or C-PTSD, both of which often come with dissociation as a symptom or trauma response. So as long as you’re prioritizing your health and getting the help you need, to us, that’s definitely most important!
We’re wishing you the best of luck with figuring this out. Feel welcome to reach out to us again if you need any more help in the future! We’re not experts or professionals, but we’re more than happy to help with advice and resources to the best of our ability.

Persona 4 (ish) atsv AU. Dw, I don't spoil any plot for either p4 or p5.
We don't use the murder mystery plot, but we keep the whole shadow thing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First photo is an explanation of shadow selves as a whole and then 2nd is their use in p4.
I haven't quite cooked it through yet but imagine Miguel having to fight his inner demons in a big ass boss battle. There's always a lot of symbolism in it, and I think Miguel's would have a cage aspect like Yukiko did due to isolation being his main go-to for self harm.
Side note I'm sorry about Teddie's dialogue. If it provides any relief, the fandom bullies him constantly.
Alternatively, Persona 5 ATSV.
Miles - Ren Amamiya/Joker (Rejected by the society around them AND constantly defies expectations)
No idea!! - Ann Takamaki/Panther
Lyla - Morgana/Mona (Not rooted in story ties to the respective characters) (Alternatively, Peter Porker by just how goofy both are)
Idk lol - Makoto Nijima (Makoto best romance 🔥🔥🔥)
Gwen - Kasumi Yoshizawa (do NOT Google this character it will spoil Persona 5 Royal IMMEDIATELY. I will include a photo of this character at the end so that you can see her.)
Pavitr - Haru Okumura/Noir (Little bit naive but wants to do good in the world)
Hobie - Ryuji Sakamoto/Skull (Not a lot of connection but both rebel against social norms.)
Margo - Futaba Sakura/Oracle (DUUUUUUUDE THIS FITS IN BOTH FAMILIAL ISSUES AND TECH SMARTS) (alternatively, Peni works as well and she has the Dead Mom trauma too.) (I am not normal about Futaba I get genuinely angry about her storyline.)
Miguel - SOJIRO SAKURA!!! Mature, quiet, a hard-ass but genuinely very kind and loving beneath it all.
Spot - I fuckinG WISH I COULD SAY WHICH CHARACTER BUT IT SPOILS >:( just know he has a very clear character in this.
Ben Reilly - Yusuke Kitagawa (Dramatic af /pos) (Alternatively, Peter B. due to the brokeness of both.)
Aunt May - Munehisa Iwai or Tae Takemi (both help the protagonist in supplies)
Tumblr media
As promised, here's Kasumi. She is a gymnast with deep seated family and identity issues that don't get explored until what is technically the "post game". She is worth the wait.
I’ve heard of persona but I’ve never played it or seen any gameplay (until now with the link u sent lolol) and honestly this fits so well!! There was a whole part in spiderman 2 about miles confronting mister negative and fighting him to try and escape kraven, and mister negative sends him to this alternate dimension and sends these shadows to fight him which represent his inner demons while his loved ones (or what sounds like them) call him not good enough and a mistake, and Miles’s biggest fear is for his loved ones to hate him and for him to disappoint them. This fits in extremely well for him especially now with that in mind. Also Miguel having to fight his inner demons is a huge boss battle is something I WANNA SEE!!!

A Miguel O'Hara x OC Series - Link to AO3 (X)
Chapter 35 - Plan - previous chapter (X)
Pairing: Miguel O'Hara x Female OC
Words: 4.4K+ words
Warnings: PG for mention of injuries, no other major warnings
Summary: Miguel hatches a plan to capture Osborne.
///////
The team was called into Margo’s station as Hobie, Penni, Gwen, Pav, Peter B, Ham, and Jess arrived, one after another. They joined Miguel, Margo, and I in a large circle as Lyla created a holographic three-dimensional projection of King Pin’s manor. The longer I stared at the manner, the more my palms began to sweat, realizing the true gravity of the situation.
The manor looked like it could be from the English countryside if not for the very familiar Empire State Building that could be seen in the skyline off in the distance with the rest of that dimension’s city of New York. There was a lush green garden in the front yard with a large fountain in the center of the large driveway. The manor itself had beige brick and cobblestone walls with a gray shilling roof and chimneys on either side. Large trees were planted next to every window.
It was a beautiful home. It's just too bad it was owned by a cruel mafia boss.
“Alright gang, listen up,” Hands on his hips, Miguel glanced around to see everyone’s faces before steering back down towards the projection. “Our mission is to infiltrate King Pin’s manor in Earth 269. We have visual confirmation from that dimension’s Spider-Man that he’s been seeing having meetings with Harry Osborn of Earth-1997,”
“They’ve been meeting almost regularly the last few weeks,” Margo explained as she brought up the stability chart for that dimension. “Every time Harry visits the dimension, it causes small fluxes in the dimension’s stability. I don’t know what he’s doing there, but the more he comes back, the higher it goes,”
“We can’t risk Osborne doing irreversible damage,” Miguel shook his head.
“So what’s your plan?” Peter B. asked him as Penni and Ham nodded eagerly with him, fired up and ready.
“We won’t risk a full assault, Harry has most likely warned King Pin about our organization and knows we’re coming for him,” Miguel huffed as he waved his hand over the projection and one by one, little black dots spawned on various points of the map. “I asked that dimension’s Spider-Man to survey the grounds for me. These are all security guard points and their patrol routes,”
Hobie whistles as he crouches to his knees to get a closer look at the layout. “My man is acting like he’s guarding the crown jewels or something,”
“That’s just on any normal day. For the gala, there’s going to be more,” Miguel’s eyes narrowed as more black dots appeared on the projection. “A lot more,”
“Then what are you thinking?” Jess asked him.
Miguel’s eyes narrowed as he zoomed in on the projection, revealing the inside of the main ballroom. “We slip in undercover as party goers. I’ve asked Lyla to bypass their guest list to add our names onto the list. Covert names, I may add,”
“What did you pick for me? I was thinking of something like Tom Cruise,” Peter B. Parker waved his hand in the air, picturing it in the bright neon lights I imagined.
“Just for that I’m changing it to John Doe,” Miguel muttered.
“Hey!” Peter B. frowned, arms slacking. “That’s just rude. . .”
“Lyla will message each of you your cover names and identities. The better you can impersonate your persona, the higher your chances are of not getting caught,” Miguel explained. “While the rest of us are blending into the party to not draw attention, someone will instead go undercover as one of the staff and rely to us Harry Osborne’s exact location in the manor,”
As I listened to Miguel’s plan, the gears in my head were starting to turn. The words came out of my mouth before I could even finish formulating my own strategy, “I’ll do it,”
All heads whipped towards me. “I’m down for that,” Hobie smirked.
“No, no, no, I am not down for that,” Miguel hugged, shaking his head. “Absolutely not!”
“Lisa, are you sure?” Pav asked with concern.
“Think about it! King Pin will know to keep an eye out for some of you. There’s alternate versions of each of you at least once in every universe, right?” I looked out to the rest of the group.
“Relatively speaking, yes—“ Miguel slowly nodded in agreement and was about to press on to say something else.
I turned to face him, my stern gaze halting the words that were about to come out of his lips as I spoke. “But not me,”
“What are you talking about?” Miguel narrowed his eyes towards me, his hands moving to his hips.
“She comes from a universe in its purest form. There are no alternate versions that exist of that universe. . .” Peni Parker slowly started to put two and two together.
“Meaning there are no alternate versions of myself,” I went on. “I could slip in practically unnoticed,”
“Lisa. . . Lisa actually has a point,” Jessica nodded slowly as she too started to put the pieces together.
“Wait, you’re agreeing with her on this?” Miguel’s eyes widened as he glanced over at his second in command.
“You guys go undercover as party goers as planned, while I’ll slip in as one of the staff members,” I laid out my plan to Miguel. “I’d be unrecognizable!”
“I could think of a multitude of things that could go wrong,” Miguel shook his head before pointing a lecturing finger at me. “Have you forgotten already that Harry could still be seeking you out for your powers?”
“We might not have any other choice, Miguel,” Peter B. steps in, waving a gentle gesture with his hands to try and calm him. “You said so yourself, it’s either we go undercover or put out a full scale assault, but you’ve made it clear that the ladder won’t work,”
Miguel glanced around the room as the rest of the team looked at one another, everyone else seeming to agree. Despite the risks, this was their best option. He looked over back towards me, seeing the pleading look in my eyes.
“This won’t be easy, you know that?”
I nodded. “I know,”
“You’ll have a lot to prepare for,” Miguel went on, “Studying security patrols, worker shifts, proper etiquette, how to handle yourself in a fight if you get cornered. . .”
“I’ll do it all,” I insisted, squaring my shoulders as I curled my fingers into fists at my sides. “I want to catch Harry just as much as everyone else here,”
Miguel seemed to stare at me for what felt like minutes, but in reality it was a few seconds. The longest seconds of my life, as he studied me to try to call my bluff. I wasn’t bluffing.
“You swear you’ll call me at the first sign of trouble?” He asked finally.
“I swear,” I nodded.
“. . . Okay,” Miguel nodded back firmly before looking out to the rest of the team. “We’ll stick to our undercover mission plan, but have Lisa go in disguised as one of the workers to confirm Harry Osborne’s location. Penni, you’ll be on security detail. You’ll bypass their security and be our extra set of eyes and ears in the gala,”
“Yes, sir!” Penni offered Miguel a proud salute.
“Ham, Pav, you’ll be our backup in case Penni or anyone else is discovered,” Miguel glanced over to Spider-Ham.
“You can count on us, boss, no one's gonna land a finger on her while I’m on the case!” Ham proclaimed proudly as he, Pav, and Penni shared a fist bump.
“That’s what I like to hear,” Miguel softly smirked at the exchange before looking over at Gwen and Hobie, “You two will secure the rooftop and cover our escape route once we find and secure Osborne,”
“Guard duty? Seriously?” Hobie slouched as he rolled his eyes.
Gwen chuckled, nudging his arm with her elbow. “You’d stick out, Hobie,”
“Eh, I thought the gala was gonna be boring anyways,” he mutters under his breath.
Miguel then looks over to Peter B. and Jess. “The rest of us will go undercover as guests to the gala and will rendezvous with Lisa once she confirms Osborne’s location in the manor. Is the plan sound for now?”
Everyone nods in agreement.
“Good. Lyla will send you all your undercover names and backgrounds. We’ll reconvene to go over our infiltration routes at a later time. Until then, you’re dismissed,” Miguel waves them off as the projection vanishes.
One by one everyone leaves the room. I had half a mind to leave along with everyone else, but as soon as I took a couple steps forward, I could feel Miguel’s gaze wash over me.
“Lisa, may I speak with you?” He asked, his voice making me flinch as I turned to face him. “Please?”
The last word he threw in came out more gently, almost pleadingly.
I sighed, nodding over at him as I turned back. Gwen and Hobie idled briefly to watch me before taking their leave from the room as Miguel politely signaled them quietly to leave. When I neared, he took his hands off from his hips, crossing his arms over his broad chest.
Shaking his head, he looked at me with a displeased expression. “What were you thinking?”
“I was thinking of a way to help you out, and the rest of the team,” I insisted, “It’s a solid plan, Miguel,”
“I mean, what were you thinking of volunteering yourself like that without talking to me about it first?” Miguel clarified, the wrinkles of his forehead and nose tightening as he pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to keep himself calm and collected.
I notice something move in the corner of my eye. Margo was still in the room. Actually, this was her work station after all. Her gaze shifted between us, laughing nervously.
“I’ll take 5 then,” She pressed a button in the side of her visor as her virtual avatar body disappeared, disconnecting from this dimension as her real self returned to her own universe.
My face softened as I glanced back over at Miguel. He was trying to keep himself calm, wanting to actually talk to me about this. I could see the battle he was fighting himself with in his eyes. He wasn’t just worried. He was scared.
“Lisa, we don’t know what Harry has planned with King Pin. If I send you out there and something goes horribly wrong, I’d never forgive myself if you got hurt or worse,” he explained with a stern and serious tone. “I’d be a shepard sending one of its lamb’s to the wolves for slaughter,”
“Miguel, I’m— I’m sorry if I reacted so quickly,” I apologized.
“Don’t forget rashly,” he added with a small tint of teasing in his disciplinary half smile as he lowered his hand from his face.
“But you said it yourself; This could be our big break in catching Osborne and stopping him,” I stated as I gently reached over and took his free hand in my own.
Miguel sighed tiredly, as his larger fingers curled around my hand. “I know, I know,” he nodded his head, recalling his earlier statement. “But if you get caught, somewhere I can’t reach you. . .”
“Teach me then,” I ushered him gently, squeezing his fingers tightly. “Teach me how to protect myself if I get cornered,”
Miguel’s gaze hardened on me, daring a small step closer to my frame as he looked down at me, “You really want to do this?”
“I do,” I nodded back firmly.
Miguel took a long, deep breath before wrapping his other arm around my shoulders, holding me close to his chest. A gesture as if to anchor himself, to reassure him that I could actually pull this off and that he needn’t worry.
My cheeks flushed as I pressed my forehead against him. I anchored myself in his hold.
Warm. So warm. . .
“We can discuss all of that later,” Miguel sighed tiredly, pulling away as he brushed a hand through his hair as he took a breath to compose himself. “I can escort you back to your dimension, if you like? I’m sure you’ve been away for a while. What did you end up telling your friends?”
“Well, I mentioned that the two of us would be going out for lunch for a bit, and then I’d meet up with them after their costume fitting,” My cheeks flushed a little as I glanced up at him, rubbing my arm nervously.
“Oh,” Miguel’s eyes lit up ever so slightly as he met my gaze. “Have you eaten anything since practice?”
“No,” I shook my head, my cheeks darkening from embarrassment as I could feel a rumble in my stomach beginning to brew. “Have you eaten anything since your patrol?”
“I have, but I could always go for more,” He smiled softly, hands behind his back as he leaned forward, closer towards me as his smile shifted into a playful grin. “Especially to make sure you eat something,”
“I was going to when I get back!” I gawked at the tall, dark, handsome, and intimidating Spider-Man as my entire face flushed pink.
“Well now I’m coming to make sure of that,” Miguel snickered as he typed in a command on his gizmo and a portal appeared before us. “Anywhere in particular you wanted to go?”
I thought about it for a moment, shuffling on my feet as I glanced up at him. “There’s a new Chipotle that opened down the street from the studio?”
“Then that’s where we’ll go,” He nodded firmly before motioning for me to step through first.
We both walked through the portal, remerging in my apartment. As soon as Miguel had stepped through the portal, his holographic spider-suit had changed into some casual clothes, wearing a red shirt, jeans, slip-on shoes and a nice black leather jacket. A pair of sunglasses were tucked into his pocket as he pulled them out, slipping them on to his face.
I quickly stepped into my room, changing into a light gray high hem crop hoodie and matching joggers, with a white tank top and slipping on my sneakers. I packed a change of clothes into my duffel bag just in case my friends and I decided to go back to the studio to practice some more, and I glanced over towards my spider-suit. They were checking out their own costumes for the dance. . .
I packed my suit in my bag.
I slipped out of my room, pulling the shoulder strap of my bag over my head as I pulled the curtain back. Miguel glanced over towards me, our eyes met. His head tilted down, lowering his sunglasses as I caught his gaze peeking through the lens. He smiled at me, the side of his mouth curling.
“That’s new,”
Did he check me out just now?!
I chuckle softly as I try to play it cool, tucking a lock of my hair behind my ear. “I have a closet full of outfits I haven’t worn yet. Thought I’d try something new,”
“Any chance I’ll see more of something new?” He asked me with a playful tone in his voice as he walked over and opened the front door for me.
“Like you want me to put on a whole fashion show for you?” I snickered as I raised a brow at Miguel as he followed behind me before I shut and locked the door. “Tell you what, after our first date, then, I’ll put on a fashion show for you,”
“Oh I’m very much looking forward to it,” He chuckled along with me as he walked alongside me. “Go all out? I’m talking lights, music, the whole thing,”
“Oh, don’t tempt me, Miguel, I just might do that,” I playfully jabbed at him, nudging his arm.
The two of us leave my apartment complex and walk by my dance studio before turning over to the next street and walking down a few blocks to Chipotle. The place was lively, but thankfully not super busy as Miguel and I stepped in and ordered our food.
We sat down and ate, making occasional small talk as we went. Miguel got himself a whole platter. It made sense, considering his size and vigorous work out routine he made for himself, as a Spider-Man, he needed his fuel and to keep his strength up. I tried to play it cool as I ate my not nearly as big portion, and while I did enjoy my rice bowl, his stuff looked so good. Miguel noticed my staring, smiling sweetly as he passed over some of his extra chips and salsa.
“Like I said, I’ve eaten already, but you haven’t,” he gently reminded me, “Want anything?”
“. . . Pass the sour cream, please?”
Miguel gave me a gentle smile as he handed me the tiny plastic tupperware with the sauce as I dipped a chip into it and took a bite out of it happily.
I texted Hannah for the address of her sister’s studio and she gave me the address to a costume boutique. I looked it up on my phone and it appeared to be a neatly well kept nook on the side of another building with a beautiful coat of purple paint and an ivory door.
After we were done eating, Miguel and I left the fast food joint and followed the directions to the boutique which was a couple streets away.
“So you guys are going to be wearing costumes for the performance?” Miguel asked me after we initially walked in content silence for two blocks.
“Yes, but it’s, uh. . .” I rubbed the back of my neck with my free hand nervously as I began to jumble my words, “Not by choice,”
“What do you mean?” Miguel raised a brow at me, hands in his pockets as he noted my nervous expression.
“Promise me you won’t freak out?” My voice tensed along with my shoulders as I looked up at him, the sunlight glimmering in the shades of his sunglasses.
“Si mi vida, I promise,” He reassured me, “What happened?” -  Yes my dear
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself as I very calmly reached over to my bag, opening the zipper and revealing my spider-suit inside.
“One of my friends found my spider-suit, mistaking it for a onesie, I played it off as it being a cosplay and so they had the bright idea of us dressing up in our own Spider-Man costumes for the dance and we’re meeting up with them to see how they turned out,” I spoke quickly and profusely to get the words out, terrified about how he’d react.
I could see the look in his eyes as his sunglasses faltered down his nose ever so slightly. “But they don’t know. . .?” He asked me.
I shook my head. “They don’t,” I answered.
Sighing deeply, Miguel ran his fingers through his hair, muttering softly to himself, “Ay por dios,” Before glancing back over at me. “If they don’t know, then they don’t know. . . I– I trust you in handling it,” - Oh my god
I was surprised with how calm he was. Now internally he could be swearing like a sailor and I wouldn’t blame him for it. But thankfully with how superhero things are in my universe, it was just seen as a simple costume and nothing more.
‘Super powers being real? No way!’ they’d say.
If they only knew. . .
After a few minutes of walking, we found the boutique. I recognized the picture of the front of the shop when looking it up online. Miguel held the door open for me as we went inside, a bell chiming at our arrival. We were greeted with the cool breeze of the air conditioning overhead as the wooden flooring creaked beneath our feet. Multiple rows of costumes and hangers went as far as the eye could see. It was like being in the Tardis, where it seemed small on the outside, but bigger inside.
“Hello, hello! You must be Lisa!” An older woman greeted us, emerging from the back of the store. If it weren't for her heavy makeup and luxurious clothes, I would have mistaken her for Hannah, but after looking her over I realized it was her sister. “I’m Audrey, Hannah’s sister, very nice to meet you,”
“Nice to meet you too,” I smiled sweetly. “I take it they’re here already?”
“Yes, they’re just in the back change rooms, follow me,” Audrey smiled as she motioned for the two of us to follow her.
We followed her across the store to the back rooms. The change rooms were decked out with large mirrors and fluffy rugs and couches for sitting, with two sets of change rooms on either side. Touga was sitting down on the floor, wearing a black and yellow colour scheme spider-suit when his brother Toya stepped out from his change room, wearing a similar suit but the colours were swapped. Kasey and Hannah emerged from their change rooms, with Kasey wearing a light blue and gray colour scheme and Hannah of course wearing all things pink with a coral pink and peony scheme.
Toya was the first to notice our approach, smiling at me in a friendly greeting. In the split second he noticed Miguel behind me, his pupils went wide as his hand hurriedly slapped against his brother’s shoulder to get his attention. Touga whirled around, about to smack his twin in the head with bugging him until he did a double take and saw us. Both of their smiles went wide.
I playfully narrowed my eyes at him. Don’t make it into such a big deal.
I took a breath, waving at my friends. “Hey guys!”
The girls looked over towards us, wide smiles on their faces. “Lisa, there you are!” Kasey greeted us before her eyes trailed over to Miguel, “And you’ve brought company,”
“Lisa!” Hannah beamed as she bounced over to me, hugging me tightly before pulling away and showing off her costume. “What do you think? I didn’t want to clash with the pink on your costume, but I couldn’t help myself, I just really, really like the colour!”
“No, no, this looks great on you, Hannah,” I smiled brightly at her, shooing away her worries, “You should totally wear that,”
Her eyes lit up at the praise, clapping her hands excitedly. “Oh good! I was worried for a moment there,” Her gaze trailed over towards Miguel and her eyes sparkled. “Is this him?!”
I chuckled at her reaction, my cheeks flushing a light side of pink. I looked over towards Miguel, and while he seemed a little nervous at a glance, he too was blushing a little as I reached back and offered him a comforting hand. He took it gladly as he stepped up to my side.
“Everyone, this is Miguel,” I introduced him as my friends gathered around at a respectable distance. “Miguel, these are my friends, Hannah, Kasey, and the twins, Toya and Touga,”
“Nice to finally put a face to the name,” Kasey grinned as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Lisa has told us quite a bit about you,”
“All good things I hope,” Miguel chuckled sweetly as his grip tightened on my hand ever so slightly.
“Of course!” Hannah beamed.
“No offense my man, but now that I’m looking at you, I call bullshit on you being a tech nerd,” Toya stated, pointing a finger at him.
My entire body felt warm as a rush of panic coursed through me. Does he suspect anything already?!
“You’re totally a basketball player or football rookie aren’t you?” He grinned.
I felt as if my soul had left my body at that moment. I’m gonna smack Toya the second Miguel leaves.
“Actually, nope, I’m really a tech nerd,” Miguel shook his head. “But I do work out at the gym every now and then,”
“How tall are you? Do you have to constantly duck down when you enter somewhere to avoid hitting your head? I love your clothes, who’s your tailor? Do you–”
“Okay, Hannah, shimmer down,” Kasey stepped in, gently guiding Hannah away from us before looking over at us. “Well it is lovely to finally make your acquaintance, Mr. Miguel,”
Miguel offers Kasey a friendly smile back as the pair shake hands, “Likewise, Kasey, I’m glad to know my Mona Lisa is in good company when I’m away,”
“Mona Lisa?” Kasey’s eyes perk up as she gives me a playful look.
“It’s just a pet name,” I blush instantly, stepping aside to hide partially behind Miguel’s arm.
“Um, it’s the pet name,” Touga smirked as he gave Miguel a thumbs up. “Very smooth, my man, I should pick up some pointers from you,”
Miguel chuckles as he wraps a comforting arm around me, holding me close as glances over at Touga. “Another time, perhaps,”
“Hey, we should get a group photo!” Hannah jumped up and down excitedly. “Lisa, did you bring your costume?”
My cheeks flushed as I glanced over towards Miguel, silently asking for approval. He glanced between my friends and I before offering me a warm smile, his arm pulling away as he gently patted my back. “Go on,”
I smiled brightly at him, pecking his cheek before bolting for the closest change room. I quickly change out of my clothes and into my spider-suit before stepping back out. All of my friends looked at me, eyes wide as they took in my appearance.
“That looks so good!” Hannah beamed as she pulled me closer.
“Great colour choice,” Kasey nodded in approval. “Wouldn't it happen to involve a certain girl group we’ve talked about once or twice?”
“Maybe?” I giggled softly, caught red handed.
I glance over, catching Miguel’s eyes on me. I’m not sure what it was, but the way he looked at me here, being with my friends, it made me feel. . . warm, and safe.
“Hey, Miguel, you mind–?” Toya offered Miguel his phone, extending it towards him.
“Oh, yeah, sure,” Miguel blinked, as if snapping himself back into reality briefly as he took the phone in his large hand.
“Come on, let’s do some spidey poses!” Touga exclaimed as we all huddled together.
One by one, each of us struck a cool superhero pose.
“Alright, we ready?” Miguel grinned as he aligned the camera, “Say Spider-Man!”
“Spider-Man!” We all cheered.
Miguel took the picture and when we all relaxed and moved away from our posed positions, I noticed Miguel glancing over at our little group. But I quickly realized he was only looking at me. He offered me a playful wink. I smiled sweetly back.
I think things are going to work out just fine.

Metiches - WIP
Summary: As they decide to take some rest for the night, Pavitr and the remaining people in the group decide to have a light hearted chat, like when Gwen and Miles will become something more.
Just one, little problem-
Miles and Gwen are outside standing guard, but their super hearing is just as good as ever.
. . .
Pavitr was looking at the safe house they had arrived; this place would serve well enough to stay the night for now, even if they weren't sure in which universe they were anymore (they were currently fleeing from Miguel, while also trying to find answers to some things.) They had found some sleeping bags and some food.
Well, "food" may be a bit too generous for what it was; the rest had said this was the type of stuff they had for emergencies so it made sense it wasn't that good. Pavitr thought to himself that if he needed to survive a catastrophe with only that food as an option, maybe death was a kinder option.
They weren't sure how long they could stay here, Hobie mentioned knowing the spider of that universe, and would probably be okay with them crashing this place if they needed to. Despite being the one who knew the spider; Hobie didn't seem completely jazzed about the place; yet said the reason why was too complicated to bother. Pavitr's only clue was that a lot of things were labelled "Shield," perhaps this universe was really enthusiastic about those for some reason?
Ideally, they would just continue, but even for enhanced individuals they needed to rest.
Noir and Ham were doing patrols on the perimeter, while Gwen and Miles stayed around the house. They needed to be extra safe in case enemies of this dimension found them, or if Miguel and his people appeared in front of them. They would rotate later in the night.
As Hobie and Pavitr found good spots to lay their sleeping bags. They were the only ones doing semi-normal sleeping arrangements; Peni had gotten inside her robot with the sleeping bag and seemed to have decided to make a nest to sleep in, or perhaps just have the perfect place to become a cocoon. Peter B went to another room to put his fuzzy daughter to sleep, and Margo was just looking at her screen.
She didn't really need to do anything, her body was technically in her home dimension; so she could get some sleep in her comfy bed while they braced themselves on this dusty house. In another universe, surrounded by grey scales and unsavoury food, the atmosphere was depressing.
So he decides to light the mood by asking "Hey, do you think Miles would end up asking Gwen at the end of this?"
Because after seeing them together in Mumbattan, oh, he needed to know the end of that story. And it was a light hearted topic, right?
It would be for them, but not for two people.
Despite being outside the house, on opposites ends of the roof, Miles' and Gwen's super hearing was just as good as always; which meant they could hear enough to know about this, and being unable to do anything without the other hearing them.
. . .
It probably feels cruel to leave it like that, but the problem is that guys, this was my second fic I wrote for this fandom it has stayed as wip for literal MONTHS.
I am unsure I am unable to get the right words out it, I was hoping posting it as a wip would help.
Again, this is a wip, logistical, grammar and so forth mistakes are to be expected. Hopefully getting this out may juggle my inspiration a bit, I would like to finish it.
Is this fic really about Miles hearing all the embarrassing crap Gwen does? Pretty much, once I manage to write it dammit.

Three Little Words
Because Chapter 15 got me in such of lovesick emotional chokehold. Cas out here making me into the biggest, softest marshmallow.
Ugh, I love him so much.
Y’all know the drill. Black Male!Cassius x Black Female!MC. With a bit of Male!Gabe x Female!MC (one sided, sorry Gabe fans. I like your guys’ idea of poly relationship, but I personally don’t get down like that.)
--------------------------------
(Cas Harlow)
What a fucking mess.
Just only what felt like mere hours ago, I left the lone survivor of my hunting party. The first time in a long time that I felt powerless.
That I felt scared.
Weak.
...where I felt like I was human.
I thought I wasn’t gonna survive, but no. Those creatures left me there as warning. Laying there in those bushes, barely on the cusp of consciousness, I remember feeling angry.
Angry that I was beaten so easily. Angry that I was rendered helpless to where my own family was torn apart in some sick ritual. Angry that I didn’t die alongside them.
But it wasn’t until I found myself gazing into Judith’s honey colored eyes that I felt a wave of relief.
If I had died, I wouldn’t have the chance to look into those breathtaking eyes again.
With her support and Golden Boy’s help, we created a plan, tracked down our true enemy, warned the covens, and founded the Creator’s true weakness.
Only now, he’s grown so powerful to point he rendered both covens injured.
I watched helplessly as my covenmate began to close his eyes after I extracted the branch from his side.
I slapped him out of frustration.
“DAMMIT! Wake up, you idiot!” I felt the sting of tears burn my eyes but I refused to cry. Not now.
I nearly jumped out of my skin when I felt a hand land on my shoulder. I looked up to find Judith staring at me with a steady gaze.
“I know what would help,” she said softly. My heart leapt up with hope... before a chilling realization came crushing down on me.
“You’d better not be suggesting what I think you’re suggesting, babe,” I growled at her. Judith’s impassive look hasn’t shifted, save the single arched brow.
“And why not? These people need blood, Cas. Human blood. It would help speed up the healing process and save their lives.” Gabriel shook his head, just as against the idea as I was.
“And what about you? Giving your blood to this many vampires is way too dangerous,” Golden Boy butted in. Judith pinned both of us with a glare.
“For the love of- Listen to me, you idiots! There’s no reason for your friends to die! They’re your family, just...” Judith sighed, her eyes softening.
“Just let me help them. Believe in me, please...” I bit my lip. I didn’t want to lose anymore of my covenmates... but I didn’t want to risk losing her either. I turned to Gabriel.
“Dammit, Golden Boy, use that giant brain of yours to figure out the right solution already!” Gabriel had the distressed look on his face, looking between our covens as Judith.
“I... I don’t know,” he brokenly admitted. Judith let out another sigh, before grabbing my wrist and dragging me over to Margo.
Her miserable expression changed into a a sarcastic eye roll as we approached.
“Am I already in hell? How many times do I have to look at your ugly face today,” she hissed at Judith. The human girl returned the eye roll.
“Relax, we both know it’s anything but ugly.” Honey brown eyes turned to me with a determined gaze.
“Cas, bite me.” I almost choked on my damn saliva-
“Normally I’d be on board with a witty comeback but-” I shut up at the sight of Judith’s glare, gently taking hold of her wrist. Margo watched our exchange with alarmed eyes.
“The hell are you doing?!” I frowned at her.
“She’s helping your bitter ass, so shut up and start being grateful,” I hissed. With a shaky breath, I carefully sunk my fangs into Judith’s wrist. She let out a low hiss through her clenched teeth but didn’t say anything. Swiping my tongue over my fangs, I carefully watched her expression.
“You okay,” I asked softly. Judith glanced at me, a ghost of a smile playing on her lips.
“Fit as a fiddle.” Judith turned her gaze to Margo, holding out her bleeding wrist.
“Just a sip now,” Judith murmured quietly to the injured girl. Margo let out a sharp laugh.
“You’re putting fresh blood in my face and expect me to only have a sip?” I glared at the redhead.
“Margo.” She flinched at my tone before brushing it off with an eye roll.
“Fine. Fine.” I watched carefully, making sure my covenmate didn’t get carried away with get more than necessary. The moment I saw her wounds healing, I pulled her away before dragging Judith to the others.
“Hey Judith. Wait a second,” I called out to her. We went through a handful Venandis and I could see Judith’s eyes turning hazy. I held her close to keep her upright.
“Why the hell are you helping Venandis after everything they’ve done. I mean, my coven hasn’t exactly been all warm and fuzzy toward you ever since you met them.” Judith shook her head with a soft laugh.
“You really don’t get it, do you? I’m helping because they matter to you, Cas. You care about them, and I care about you, so that I means I care about them too.” I stared at the girl in my arms in utter disbelief.
‘She was willing to help those who pushed her around, belittle her, threaten her... because of me?’
“Just... just like that,” I whispered, almost breathless at the sheer reality of it. Full lips spread into a sweet smile.
“Just like that,” she answered in kind, her gaze warm upon my face. I smirked at her, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“You’re one of a kind, New Girl... it’s their loss if they don’t see it,” I whispered. She let out a chuckle, nuzzling my chin before quickly making her way to Gabriel to help the Clements.
The groans of pain have decreased almost sufficiently as Judith made her rounds to each vampire. Despite the fear of someone taking advantage of her, I never felt more proud of her. She truly had a heart like no other...
Knocked out of my musings, a pair of elders were dragging in their fellow injured members into the gym. Before Gabriel or I could act, Judith jumped up to meet them halfway.
“Judith, wait!”
“Damn it, New Girl! Wait a second-” Cold eyes swept over me and Adalhard, forcing us to stop a few steps behind her.
“They need help and you’re stopping me,” she asked, her voice dropping a pitch. Swallowing my slight fear of the human girl, I walked up to her and cupped her face in my hands.
“Can you even handle giving anymore? You should be nearly at your limit at this point.” Her gaze lost its edge, squeezing my wrist.
“I’m fine, Cas. They’re the last two. Let me do this.” Biting my lip, I released her. Gabriel and I watched as the girl kneeled, offering her wrists to the wounded elders. Despite being on the brink of consciousness, the two took careful sips of her blood. Just as Judith was about to pull away, the two clamped down on her arms with an iron clad grip, taking more than she was willing to offer.
“Ngh!” Judith gritted her teeth, trying to pull away from them... but thanks to the blood loss, she was much weaker.
Gabriel and I sprang into action, pulling our respective coven elder off of her. Judith raised wobbly to her feet and I wasted no time picking her up bridal style, making my way to the bleachers.
“Cas, put me down. I... I can walk,” I heard her grunt against my shoulder. I let out a soft scoff.
“I only take orders from people who don’t look like they’re going to keel over,” I snapped. I felt her flinch and let out a sigh.
“Just... Just hush and let me do this for you, Judith...” For the few times since meeting each other, Judith remained silent. I sat down on the lowest bleacher, adjusting the girl so she could sit on my lap. She still wouldn’t look at me, so I decided to lighten the mood.
“So... back when I said you’re one of a kind, I meant you’re more stubborn than any human has a right to be...” I got what I wanted. A beautiful smile. A weak one, but still breathtaking all the same.
“Admit it, that’s one of the things you like about me,” she mumbled into my neck, chuckling. I rolled my eyes but couldn’t stop the small smile from appearing on my face. Gabriel took the seat next to us, a chocolate chip cookie and a juice pouch in hand.
“Your stubbornness is one of your best traits, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make us worried sick. Here, this should help get your blood sugar back up.” Judith was quick to grab the cookie, already biting into it with a moan.
“Judith... I want to thank you for your help. It hurt seeing my covenmates suffering so it means a lot to know that they’re recovering because of you,” Gabriel said, his gaze reverent. I awkwardly cleared my throat.
“Yeah... I’m not about sentimentality and crap, but... you saved my family. It means more than you know.” Judith smiled at us, and surprisingly, kissing my cheek and squeezing Adalhard’s hand. I looked at her with a raised brows.
“What are you doing,” I asked. She shrugged, a goofy smile taking over her normally serious face.
“Just thinking about how happy I am that you’re happy.” I snorted.
“...Weirdo...” But that didn’t stop me for placing a quick peck on her lips.
“...Said with affection.” Those eyes sparkled at me as she rubbed our noses together. Let this be anybody else, I would’ve complained about how disgustingly cute she’s being with the PDA...
But Judith wasn’t just anybody else...
I comfortably watched on as Gabriel offered her juice pouch as Judith polished off the rest of her cookie. The playful banter between the two would’ve bothered me in the past, but I felt comfortable with where I stood with the girl.
And I think Adalhard knows she felt comfortable she stood with me too.
“Human.” All three of us looked up to find the Clement and Venandi elders who hauled in their injured brothers from earlier.
“We wanted to come and issue our thanks,” the Venandi Elder said. The Clement Elder nodded alongside her.
“Indeed. What you, a human, have just done for the vampires gathered here, and at the risk of your own well-being... It reminds me of the days, hundreds of years ago now, when a handful of Crimson Beech humans helped defend us from the vampire hunters.” My brows furrowed at this.
“That actually happened,” Gabriel asked, seemingly as shocked as I was.
“It did. But as time passed and history forgotten, we didn’t think something of the sort would ever happen again.” Judith  let out a thoughtful hum.
“I guess that means it goes to show that humans and vampires have more in common that you previously thought. We both can tell there is a greater evil out to end us both, it would be in our best interest to set our differences, wouldn’t it,” she mused, a teasing tilt can be heard in her voice. The Elders’ mouths twitched upward briefly before giving a solemn nod.
Margo appeared with a scoff, eyeing the girl sitting comfortably on my lap.
“Before today, I would’ve said everything you guys just said was a load of crap,” she huffed. But she deflated as she continued,
“But before today, I never thought I’d see a human go so far to keep a vampire alive... You’re pretty alright, Gabriel...” With a dismissive wave of her hand, Margo wandered off. The Venandi Elder nodded at Judith.
“We owe you a debt, human.” Judith returned it with a nod of her own.
“I promise you, I’m not going to stop helping until we know how to defeat the Creator, so we can all stay alive.” I bit my lip at that.
Judith already proven time and time again that she was willing to help us. Even when she’s been used and abused by the covens so many times. Even when they threaten the lives of her and her mother. Even when they actually almost killed them.
‘Just how far are you going to go, Judith? I... I can’t lose you... I don’t want to, don’t make me... please...’
I hugged the girl closer, breathing in that sweet scent that clung onto her skin. I just hope that we can-
BOOM!
All of us jumped as the building shook under the massive energy wave that hit it.
“Aw shit, what now,” I growled under my breath. The three of us rushed to the back door, pushing it open to find dark thunderstorm cloud rolling in fast. The trees lost their vibrant colors and some of them were being uproot by the powerful gusts. At the eye of the storm, pulsing lights burst from the beech tree lighting up the night sky. Judith cursed under her breath.
“He found the ley line’s heart and is starting to drain his energy! We have to come up with something and fast.” Sparing a glance at the room, only the three of us were well enough to take him on.
“Fuck, it’s really us against him,” I hissed, running my fingers through my hair.
“Astoria and Lweyn could only hold out for so long! What are we gonna do to defeat this Creator,” Gabriel stressed, pacing around. Judith regarded the both of us with a cool look.
Even though the sadness could be seen in her eyes.
“I don’t think a vampire can beat him at all. He’s an all powerful god at this point. It’s gonna take more than blood-sucking to take him down...” Then I saw it.
That same faraway look I would see on her face.
The one she gets when she thinks real hard about something. As she came back to herself, I noticed a wild look flashing in those irises.
“He’d never consider a human to be a real threat. I could fool him drinking vampire blood from me!”
“ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND,” I yelled. I know it wasn’t necessary but this girl lost her damn marbles if she thinks I would willing let her walk to her death.
“Cas, c’mon! Think about it. We know for a fact that vampire blood is his weakness! This is the only sure way of ending him once and for all,” she reasoned.
“One question then. How do you plan on getting vampire blood in your veins without, oh, I don’t know... turning into one?!” Gabriel jumped in my defense.
“Which is one hundred percent off the table, FYI.” The girl didn’t back down.
“The science lab has to have something I could use to inject myself with!”
‘This girl is aiming to take years off my life, I swear to God-’
“You want to do a complex medical procedure in a high school lab?! Judith, this is insane,” Gabriel shouted.
“More than insane. You could die! Too much vampire blood will poison you just as much as it poisons him,” I hissed, silently with pleading her to understand. To reconsider. Judith glared at the both of us.
“It’s worth the risk if it’ll save everyone!” Gabriel grabbed her shoulders, shaking her.
“Judith, don’t you get it?! We’re trying to save you! Do you want to die?!” Judith deflated at the sight of Golden Boy’s heartbroken gaze. She turned to look at me, and I met her eyes. I knew I could never hide how I truly feel about her, she’s the only person I know who could read me like a book.
She lowered her gaze.
“Of course I don’t want to die. But... I’m not afraid to. Especially if it meant protecting the both of you,” she whispered. She stepped out of Gabriel’s slacken grasp, a sad look dimming those beautiful eyes.
“You two became such an important part of my life. If putting myself at risk meant you two would be safe... I would do it a thousand times over again with no regrets.” Gabriel choked on a sob.
“And what about how we feel,” he asked her. I grasped onto the little burning embers of anger I had, refusing to give into my sadness.
“Yeah, seems like we should get a say in this stupid plan,” I spat. Gabriel forged on, trying to get Judith to see reason.
“Judith, we promised your mom we’d take care of you. Don’t make us liars...” She let out a bitter laugh at that, a pained smile making its way onto her face.
“Nice try boys, but nothing you can say is going to stop me. Only I can do this. Only a human can defeat the Creator and save Crimson Beech-” The building shook from another energy blast, nearly knocking all of us on our asses. Judith’s eyes harden.
“And we’re running out of time to do both. I need you two to help me with the most important part of this plan. You have to make sure I stay alive long enough for the Creator to bite me.” Without another word, Judith turned on her heel and rushed out of the gym. I cursed under my breath, running after her.
---------------------
Golden Boy and I burst into the science lab, already finding Judith going through different drawers and cabinets in hopes of finding something to aide her in her crazy ass plan. My heart dropped to my feet at the sight of the syringe in her small hand. I walked up to her, an open heartbroken look in my eyes. I wrapped my arms around her, looking into those determined eyes.
“New Girl... Judith. Please, can you just reconsider this,” I pleaded. My voice cracked as I said her name. I never begged for anything in life. Yet here I was, begging this human girl not to throw her life away because I was unwilling to let her go.
“There’s gotta be another way to do this, please Judith, let’s think about this,” Golden Boy said. Judith shook her head out of sad fondness.
“There is no other way. The fact that neither of you stopped me from coming here means that you know that I’m right. This is the only chance we got...” She lifted the syringe and I glared at the sight of it.
“All I need is to take some of your blood and inject into my own veins. Simple, crude, but again, it’s the only chance we got.” Gabriel approached her, covering the medical tool as if he wanted hide it out of sight.
“I’ll sacrifice myself instead. Trick him into taking a bite outta of me-” Judith cupped my face in her free hand, extinguishing what little anger I had left. She looked into my eyes.
“No, Cas,” she whispered. “You know it wouldn’t work. We all know it.”  I gripped her tighter, dropping my forehead against hers.
“Listen to me. These past couple of moths, I’ve felt more live than I ever felt before. I... I don’t want to cut it short, but if you get to keep living...” Her eyes  became clouded with tears as she looked at me. With a shaky exhale, she pulled away but held my hand.
“New Girl,” I called out softly.
“I need to talk to you for a second,” she said, briefly glancing at Gabriel. Golden Boy got the hint, staying the lab while Judith and I headed out into the dim hallway. The girl turned to me with squared shoulders.
“Look, I don’t know where to start, but hear me out,” she quietly admitted, a shy look could be seen in her eyes. I silently nodded, forcing my heart to calm down as she held my hands.
“Before I go out and to face the Creator, I need you to know how much you mean to me... and how glad I am that I took the risk to get to you know you better.” I gave a teasing grin, tightening my fingers around hers.
“Yeah, I mean I understand your initial hesitation after I went all rabid-vampire on you in the woods that night.” Judith laughed.
“And let’s not forget the ensuing trial where you told the elders that they should just eat me and be done with it,” she teased back. The both of us shared a laugh as we remember our first interactions with each other. Who would’ve thought that this human girl would become such a large part of my life?
‘Where have you been all my life, baby girl?’
“Honestly, I’d go through that fear all over again if that’s what it took to have you in my life,” she confessed, stepping closer to me. I let in a sharp inhale.
“Judith...” She raised a single finger to my lips, signaling she was far from down.
“I want you to know that I’m happy that you decided to take a chance on me. You never made how you feel about humans a secret, often reminding me of my fragility. But you put those reservations aside... and because of that, look at where we are now.” I smirked a little.
“I did it ‘cause I saw something in you. You never backed down from me no matter how much I challenged you. No matter how I tried to scare you for my entertainment. No human so boldly looked me in my eyes and told me that they weren’t scared of a little danger.” Judith smiled at me as parroted the same words she told me the night of the party.
“And I saw something in you as well. Papa always told me to trust my instincts, telling me they would never lead me astray. I’m glad to had listened to his many teachings.” I watched mesmerized as she pulled me closer, leaving almost no space between us. She released my hands in favor of cupping my face. My hands made themselves at home on the curve of her hips.
“Every second with you has reawaken something in me. Something I haven’t felt since my father passed away. All the thrills you convinced me to experience with you, all the adventures we went on together... I’m grateful for it all. And I’ll never forget them for as long as I live.” She brought our foreheads together as she spoke again.
“Thank you, Cas, for being a part of my life.” I opened my mouth to say something, anything, but any words I was going to say died in my throat.
“I-I... No one’s ever...” I felt the same burning sensation earlier hit my eyes and tried to pull away from her to regain myself. But she held me in place.
“Cas,” she whispered softly, trying to look me in my eyes. I let out a shaky breath, looking into honey brown eyes with teary vision. I felt the first tear rolled down my cheek, and then the next. I swallowed, forcing my voice to work again.
“A-all of that... d-do you really mean it,” I asked. Judith’s eyes told me all I need to know, but she voiced it anyways.
“Of course, I did.” Unable to find a proper response, I gave her a nod, trying to blink away the tears that couldn’t stop falling down my face. I let out a bitter laugh.
“God, this is so embarrassing,” I groaned. I went to wipe my face, but small slender hands caught mine before I could. Judith’s gaze was soft and warm, unwavering and comforting. The corners of her lips quirked up a bit.
“I don’t think it is...” I stifled a gasp as she stood on her toes to delicately kiss away my tears. I tighten my hold on her, closing my eyes and basking at the rare affection. When she pulled back to meet my eyes, her smile widen a bit.
“I think it’s rather romantic,” she giggled. I let out a watery laugh.
“God, you’re so weird.” She gave a wink.
“Right back at you, Harlow.” Toned arms wrapped around my neck, pulling my closer to her face. I could see every fleck of color of her eyes, framed by what seems like dozens of short curly lashes.
“Cas... I love you.” I froze.
“You... what,” I gasped, not believing my ears. She laughed.
“I love you, Cassius Harlow, you edgy awkward jerk,” she giggled.
“I love you.” A kiss on my forehead.
“I love you.” A kiss on my cheek.
“I love you,” she whispered, pressing her lips against mine. I kissed her back, clinging onto her as if she was life itself. She moaned softly as I pushed her against wall, wrapping her legs around my waist.
‘She... she loves me... She actually loves me...’
She pulled away with a teasing grin.
“Need me to repeat it again?” I shook my head, slowly coming back to myself.
“No, I... I think I got it,” I mumbled, thanking every higher deity that it was dark enough so she couldn’t see my blush. I grabbed her wrists, lowering her hands down my neck to rest right above my heart. I looked into her eyes.
Those same eyes she inherited from her father.
And the same eyes that I fell in love with...
“And so we’re clear, Judith Gabriel, I lo-mhm?!” Just as I was about to confess my feelings for her, she silenced me with a rough kiss. Just as quickly as it started, it ended. Judith bit her lip, shaking her head at me.
“Not yet. Not right before I have to go out there. But... if there’s a chance later... I’ll want to hear whatever you were about to say.” I pursed my lips before nodding.
“There will be. I know there will.” Setting her down, we walked back to the science lab, hand in hand. I glanced at her, feeling my chest tighten with each step.
‘Please, to anyone who would bother listen to a broken boy’s plea... Protect her, bring this beautiful human back to me. I’m not ready to say goodbye. Not before I could see what this means. Not before I could tell her those three little words... not before I tell her that I love her.’

1. Free the love - Introduction
I was so bumped out that Immortal Desires didn’t have a second book and I haven't found a WLW fic yet, that I’ve decided to write it down.
I think one of the reasons why they didn’t make the second book was the difficulties to make a script with the three options: Cas, Gabe or Both. Just thinking about the algorithm makes me dizzy.
I am a “Both” person, so in this series she will be with both of them. (free the love, everyone). It happens 3 months after the final chapter in the book.
Oh, and I know ID is not a plus 17 book – but I am a smut person. So there will be smut. And there will be lots of it. Just beware of the <smut> sign
:*
--------
Book: Immortal Desires
Paring: F! Parker x F! Cas x F! Gabe
Warning: none
Description: Intro
Word count: 1290
Three months after the battle, Parker Reese arrived at her high school with her mom:
- “ Mom, there was no need to drive me today, you know that, right?”
- “ Yes, but I am still insecure about class restarting so soon. It gives my heart a little peace to see you out, ok?”
- “It is ok, mom. But tomorrow I am going to walk by myself, ok?”
- “Uhum, by yourself you mean in that little gang of yours?” – Ms. Reese said chuckling
- “MOM!”
- “Hey, I was too a punk too once upon a time”
- “I am not a punk, mom!” – Parker said closing the car door before her mom could say anything even more embarrassing. She knew both Gabe and Cas would be hearing with that stupid high range hearing aid that vampires had.
- “Ugh… I know you heard that and you are encourage to not mention…” – Parker whispered to her not so subtle audience
- “Well, I did had a punk / emo phase in the early 2000” – Gabe strolled over smiling to meet her girlfriend by the stairs – “My Chemical Romance still gets me”. – She said playfully giving Parker a peck on the lips
- “I told you not to mention it!” – Parker blushed smacking Gabe in her arm
- “Yes, Golden Girl. Are you roasting Parker? I might be rubbing too much into you. We definitely should spend more time apart – like a sabbatical?” – Cas said pushing Gabe aside and snaking her arms in Parker waist pulling her close – “Hey”. She said with dripping affection.
- “I agree. Why don’t you go to Alaska or something for, I don’t know, 70 years?” Gabe said raising her brow in a playful tone. “Is not like you haven’t done that before”.
- “Oh, you two, shush!” – Parker said giving Cas a peck in the lips and extending her hand towards Gabe “See you at lunch, love. We are going to be late for Math, Gabe”.
And she strolled inside the new High School building with Gabe, leaving a smiley Cas behind.
---
Since last year, that was how their relationship has been. Parker couldn’t choose between both of them, so she would have them both or none of them.
In the first month, Cas went away with Margo and Scott to spread the word about the Creator and alert other clans about their findings; while Gabe, Lewis and the rest of the coven were busy rebuilding Crimson Beach and doing damage control.
Parker wasn’t formally part of any clan yet, and her new found vampire skills needed to be perfected. So the elders of each clan decided to take upon her training.
To her mother, Parker had fought with both girls and was having a rebellious phase of extreme exercise, special diet, a lot of irony and a whole lot of weird behavior – just like a normal high schooler who had recently broken up. Neither one of the three had a lot of free time, and Parker was using that time to get herself together. But she did miss both of them, and every single change in their heartbeat made her thoughts fly directly to them.
By the second month, the school was already rebuilt and Cas was back to the city. After some time apart and a lot of self-understanding, Parker decided to confront the two people that she loved about the reality of it all.
She was in her kitchen finishing up the dishes and her mom was out at work. Parker pressed the ruby talisman and in 2 seconds Gabe was flustered by her side
“What? Are you ok?” – She said panting, wearing a tiny sport shorts and her flower top
“Oh, sorry, Gabe. I didn’t mean to startle you! I just wanted to see you” Parker said blushing.
That got a wide smile in Gabe’s face
“No harm done. But next time consider texting? I was in the middle of a training session, but surely I would have come straight after a shower” She joked
“I am glad I didn’t, then” Parker said roaming over the brunets body “You look delicious”.
“Oh, do I?” Gabe was suddently self-aware of all the skin showing
“Sweaty, breathless and halfly dressed?” – Parker said nod approving “Just like I like you” She winked. “Buuut, I didn’t call you over to admire your hot body, you know?”
Gabe chuckled as she grabbed a glass of water: “Ok, then, Ms. Reese. What do you want with me? Not that I am not glad you called, but you have been ignoring me this last few weeks…” She said trying to keep a light tone, but Parker could sense the hurt beneath
“ I am sorry about that, Gabe. Is just..”
“Hard to choose?”
“Hard to understand myself.. I needed to find myself in this mess, understand the feelings that I have, navigate through this thing with my mom and, well, I just became a vampire – so that is that. It took me two hours to get my fangs back in that first time!”
“I could have helped you, you know” Gabe said
“Honey, you know Astoria and Lewis signed the elders to do the training – they couldn’t have a ‘partial’ coach, or it would “shape” my decision between Venandis and Clements…”
“We could have helped you, then. You know? Cas? She is a Venandi. I am good with pretending to be a human, she is good with – well, being a jerk?”. Gabe said crossing her arms
Parker laughed at the joke: “She is good with a lot of things. And so are you” She said downing her eyes to the floor and taking a deep breath. “That is what I have to talk to you about”.
“No.”
“No what?”
“I will not accept the talisman back.” Gabe said with teary eyes.
Parker crossed the kitchen in a flash cupping the brunets face: “And I am not returning it. Unless you ask for it." She took a steady breath "I love you, Gabriela. More than I knew– honestly”. She kissed her lightly on the lips and glared at her eyes “I want to be with you. Like gardens, roses and romantic strolls in the park ‘be with you’ way.”
“I want that too” Gabriela said with a wide smile holding the blonde closer. “But here is a but there, isn’t it?”
“But "– Parker leveled her gaze to meet Gabe’s- "I also love Cas, and I will not give up on neither of you”.
Sigh “ I know.” Gabe said sadly
“you do?”
“Hey, I might be from a different generation, but I didn’t live under a rock all this years – you know? I can see that you love me. And, Christ, I can see that you love her.” -Gabriela said looking straight into Parker’s eyes.- ”I was jealous initially and I cannot promise you that I won’t be jealous at all. It is kind of a new notion for me – and the whole society for that matter.” Gabe said tightening her arms across Parkers waist. “But I know you love me. And I want you happy. So I am ok with all this. I am not going anywhere.”
Parked smiled and gave Gabriela a soft kiss: “ So can I officially change your name in my contact list?”
“Haha, you jest but I claim being ‘Honey’ in there”. She chuckled “Cas can have something more suiting like – ‘Unknown’ or 'Unwanted'." Parker playfully pinched her exposed belly.
"You two bully each other but I can see right throught you, babe. She has grown on you" Parker teased with a peck in her nose
"I plaid the fifth on that one. Come watch a movie with me"
It was a romantic and honest moment between both of them, and the rest of the afternoon they spent talking and catching up with each other’s news from the last month.
