okay i am making a wishlist of ideal mikey threads for Reasons

-i already mentioned this one recently, but members in toman learning about the things mikey's been hiding. generally cracking him open like a walnut, etc. preferably with lots of emotional vulnerability from mikey's side

- similarly to the above, threads set in the final arc timeline with members of toman. like that specific time period where mikey's trying to make everyone hate him, and they don't know wtf he's doing. nice.

- something related to mikey's frustrations with his lack of agency & feeling useless/a burden due to the dark impulses and being unable to help his friends??this would work well with a takemichi who he could openly discuss things with, but i'd be interested to see how it could work with other characters too. i don't have ideas for that yet unfortunately tho

okay i don't know why tumblr suddenly insisted on adding bullet points but. sanzu and mikey threads!! especially where sanzu knows exactly what's going on with mikey but mikey himself doesn't. i love that shit.

the problem with a lot of these is that they require specific characters to work, so i also want to think of ideas that aren't centered on toman. maybe something with post-canon mikey using his knowledge from the future to understand someone in a way they wouldn't expect?? or maybe... him being forced to go to someone for help with something?? idk. i'll update this post with more non-toman threads in a bit, i think...

And yet, you hadn't even noticed that the worst of them all was right there in the front of the class, teaching.

Gun doesn't know what to make of this.

Those are your clothes all over his bedroom, no, your shared bedroom floor.

Gun bends down to pick up a few items of clothing, lamenting how it felt like only yesterday he was picking up someone's teeth after knocking them out, and now this is what he's doing.

Out of the corner of his eyes, he notices a flash of colour.

Ah, he's forgotten about that.

The ugly purple plushie sitting on your pillow. Sort of shaped like a rabbit, sort of shaped like a bear, definitely shaped like a monster.

He really regrets winning you that on an earlier date. You had grown far too attached and sentimental, and with anyone else that thing would have gone in the bin. Maybe even burned.

Then you had the audacity to pluck it out his hand, and cut up the onion quicker and more efficiently. It still grates him to think about-

"Fuck!" Gun stumbles over a particularly large plant pot. Where the fuck-? Oh, of course. You and your fucking plants too. You must have about a million of them and now they are taking over the entire goddamn place.

"Y/N-" he starts, but the rest of his words die on his tongue when he sees you reading in the living room. Some music that absolutely is not his taste, but is completely yours playing.

The whole place feels a little warmer. With you. Less clinical than it used to be.

You glance up and give him that soft smile of yours, "Hey," and Gun realises he is totally done for.

Completely smittened and besotted. You can keep your ugly plushie, and your stupid plants and teach him how to use a knife properly.

In a handful of steps, Gun crosses the room to you, pressing a kiss on your lips. He cups the back of your head, and deepens it until you are leaning in and chasing for more.

He's wrong. There are no warning signs. Only constant signals since the day you met how well you would fit together. Sure there are minor cracks, but that is normal with any couples moving in together for the first time.

Normal. That's a first for Gun Park too.

Gun breaks away with a smirk on his face. Your pupils are completely blown, and cheeks flushed. Clearly you want more...

You need to earn it first.

After so long, you finally feel like you are safe

You agreed with Alastor that the both of you should move back into his old place

It was practically a mansion in the middle of a forest with not a soul around, a perfect place to enjoy the peacefulness with a good book in hand

As stated in your deal, Alastor was to protect you no matter what in exchange for your loyalty and obedience

He was slowly making you into a perfect stay at home wife

You would clean, cook, take care of him and his clothes and do all those mundane things to take care of the house and its residents

As you were prohibited from venturing further than 500 meters from the mansion (which wasn’t a problem since your paranoia mainly prevented you from even venturing outside at all), Alastor was the only one whom could get into the city, so he was in change of shopping be it for food, or your clothes

Using this to his advantage, he started buying you clothes similar in style to what women wore during his time alive

Personality wise, you were already a perfect partner in his eyes

Even without the contract you were reserved, submissive, obedient and never have you raised your tone at him, nor have you been aggressive towards him in any way shape or form

After weeks holed up at Alastor’s place, you started developing something similar to a Stockholm syndrome

Of course in your mind, you weren’t a captive but seeing as he is the only source of socialization, you would miss him tremendously whenever he had to visit the Hazbin Hotel to discuss whatever matters with Charlie

You became overly clingy and constantly wanted his attention when he was at home

You’d wrap your arms around his hand and rest your head on his shoulder, just enjoying the fact you were able to be with him and he loved every second of the attention you were giving him

Soon, you also started developing romantic feelings for said deer demon and would drop small hints

Alastor, being quite intellectually superior to most picked up on them sooner than later and would be honestly surprised at how perfectly his plan worked out without him even having to do anything more than leave for a few hours only to have you stick to him like glue

He decided to court you, as a proper gentleman should

He would get you flowers and extravagant gifts daily, shower you with compliments, cater to your every whim, and show you lots of affection

If you were feeling up to it, he’ll take you out on the most romantic date of your life

If you don’t (probably because of your paranoia) he’ll bring the date to you, serenading you while you two are having a candle lit dinner at the porch of his mansion with flower petals scattered all around you and a single rose on the table

It would be virtually impossible not to completely fall in love with him at that point

Despite his hatred for post 30’s technology (especially for televisions because of Vox), he’ll purchase a TV just so you two can watch movies together

He especially loves romantic ones as he gets ideas from them for what to do for you next and horrors because whenever there’s a scary tense part, you’ll cling onto him like a cute little fawn who is scared and is looking for protection

He doesn’t like to talk about his feelings so when the time finally comes for him to confess and propose to be lovers, he’ll probably blush so red it will put his hair to shame

And when he finally asks, there’s no hesitation, just you two loving each other with everything you have

... Will you guys please let me talk about hgduo/gossipduo/mockingjays/ whatever they are called a little more pleaseeeeeeeeee, they make me unwell and I want to get my thoughts about them out of my head- or more specifically about them from Bad's point of view!

There's a familial air to it, but it's just not true to define it like that- and that doesn't make what they DO have any less powerful or significant- They have a unique bond and that continues to be true, even during painful times like this.

Cellbit WAS Bad's responsibility at one point, and that time came and went- he got him through the war and into adulthood ( aka 18 years old or close to it.) They meet again as old friends and generally respect each other as such... but even so Bad can't deny he still feels some duty to watch over the man once he starts crumbling- much like how Cellbit as well can't help but reach out to Bad during this time.

but there's limits.

like- Bad for years had and still wants to protect Cellbit, he's had an influence on him, he taught him how to survive, he himself acknowledges he has some responsibility over Cellbit, looking at Cellbit right now feels like looking in a mirror, he doesn't like having to give up on him, but if it's between him and the kids he's choosing the kids every time... and he knows there is no simple way to save someone who refuses to let themself be saved.

And it hurts! It hurts seeing Cellbit like this! It hurts having to let him burn! It hurts watching someone he cares for falling down the same path he is! It hurts knowing he's hurting others the way it did for him seeing Cellbit like this! It hurts having to choose his kids over his protege/ student/ former responsibility/ the kid he watched over years ago/ old friend/ his 'something'!

Like, cc!Bad brought up this internal mental tier list that q!Bad has- I still deeply believe that q!Cellbit is quite high up there even if he'll never be at the level his kids are at- like he loves Cellbit enough that he ACTUALLY CONSIDERED putting parts of his months long plan at risk to save him- even if it was just during the stress of that moment that still means a LOT from Bad- but he was always going to choose his kids in the end!

Based on what I know of q!Bad (which is admitably not a lot lol) there is next to nothing that'd convince him to give up on his kids- with Cellbit he's able to see that he can't help him because Cellbit sadly does not want to be saved- and for Bad that means he simply has to accept it even if he really doesn't like it- the emotions from that night have processed and he's looking at the situation from a more logical and resolute perspective. If it means him and Cellbit may one day clash, then with a heavy sigh so be it....

but if it was Dapper or Pomme... I just don't feel certain in saying he'd be able to come to that conclusion, especially not after one night. Even if it would be the 'smart' thing to do. It's one of the key differences between the dynamic he has with them vs Cellbit...

But, in a perfect situation, he would've done everything to save them both.
