Hi auntie, can you explain something? People keep saying they think bts will all enlist together. I have a sad time thinking about the group being partial for many years but isn't it impossible business that they all enlist at once? There is too much money opportunity. Sorry to be crude but jungkook is too valuable to lose 2 years now when he could enlist at 30 when the group is probably not together. It's hard for fans to see them all split but the maknaes all are too popular, and the company makes financial decisions. Thank you

Hi sweetie! I did not want to answer this, especially not today, but new info is important. I have a sad time thinking about it, too. But Seokjin is required to enlist - and his paperwork was due two weeks ago. So even though you sent this ask a couple of months ago I've been holding it until I could address it properly.

I THINK - I don't know for sure - that if Jin enlists, some of or all of the others may go ahead and do it too. Here's why. 1 - If they all go in together, it is very likely that their service will get shortened. Like, it's supposed to be 20 months. Some people get out in less time if their absence causes issues for their work OR if they have enough money and influence to get it shortened. BTS is a perfect candidate for a shortened term. The way Kevin From Itaewon explained this to me is that some kids of government officials get out in just over a year. Because the Korean government is not immune to favoritism, and if there is enough money involved for campaigns, etc., well. It's not unlike the US, that way. And who has more money and influence in Korea than BTS?

Kev told me that he knows one guy who, several years ago, got out in EIGHT MONTHS. The new President, Yoon Sukyeol, is very, very conservative. Like he's right of Trump levels of conservative. And everyone would be watching BTS so it would not be good press to let them out too early, but a token member or two enlisting might be enough to exempt the group if their absence causes enough uproar in Korea. 2. With the already-announced hiatus, we know that the comeback will be incredible, will make huge bank, the tour would sell out of course, and they could have a genuine return instead of years and years of rolling enlistments and less-than-OT7 content. If they wait until Jungkook is thirty, Jin will be 35 years old - not ancient but dang how long do we want the man to wait to have his own life? Same for Yoongi, he's the same age nearly.

3. As of yesterday there is some new info which says there will be a video statement from the members re: enlistment within the next ten business days. Probably it will be released next week. Much like yesterday, the members will tell us what we need to know. I don't think I like it, if that info is true, but I have no reason to disbelieve it as it has now hit K-media in the last 12 hours.

My information before yesterday was that decisions had been made but would not be released much before actual enlistment. So Seokjin and maybe Yoongi might actually be going in ahead of schedule. Hobi and Namjoon would have another full year to get that exemption. None of them would make it to a new President - in Korea they serve a single five year term with no re-election - but they could make it to new legislation, possibly. Unfortunately, the exemption bill is dead in the water and the new legislative term doesn't even start until September.

One thing I hadnt really thought of is that some of the members might WANT to honor their country by completing their service. They've never said, specifically. We want them exempted of course, but none of them need more money. The company wants more profits, but they can't go around the government.

And the government has interests both ways. I guess we'll hear - or not - sometime in the next week.

Today I have two friends who are gonna spend the night. One of them is my singlet friend I met last week and the other is (I think) a system like me, but I haven't actually met her yet

anyway making another long post because i’ve realised it’s coming up to 2023 and even though im a month early, im still plagued by the idea that a lot of my mutuals and i have been sitting just staring at each other across the dash like the li who’s route your on and the otome protag when you’re in the early stages without saying so much of a word to each other.

1.) ive been ... lowkey worried that the muse list i have is extremely long and therefore has made it difficult for people to reach out or simply pick the muses they want to write for the common fear that grips people when it comes down to it: picking a muse that they worry the multi didnt want to write with them. truthfully, know that whatever muse you’d pick, you’d never upset me. its the main reason why i have never, ever really picked any ‘primary’ / ‘main’ muses for this blog. however, in hopes that it does encourage people to pick the muses they want, or more importantly, don’t want to interact with at this moment in time. i’ve come up with a list of two muses who i will now try my best to default to if my mutuals pick to a fandom level, in hopes that if there is another(!) muse a mutual are far more interested in, they may feel more confident to pick so! these are as follows:

2.) i really need to be more open to giving out more in general. it’s probably my biggest flaw when it comes to rp, but i get caught up in my own fear of picking the wrong muse, thinking that i’m replying too late to people or simply just burying myself in drafts without thinking that people would like to plot / discuss / develop things out of whatever we’ve written together. to try my best(!) to conquer that, i’m implementing the way i’ve gone about things with my other blog. where if i do see a meme i think is suitable, i’ll send one in from a muse or two. no qualms if you’re not feeling up to replying about it or just don’t want to write with that particular muse. i’ll try sending one or two, but if recieving no reply will stop until because i don’t want to bombard anyone at all. i’m also going to take my time to reply to a lot of outstanding messages i have, unless the blogs archived / inactive. i’ve left a lot of people on read for a long time, so if you’re not feeling up to replying or continuing either, don’t feel pressured to. this includes discord, which means if you do wish to add me and continue something there, you can add me under: jupiter!#5567

3.) which ... the last point leads me into the big hole i find myself stuck in the most with this blog. this year i told myself would be the year i would be more proactive with confirming / asking if people wanted to pursue a ship ... but i def feel i have a couple of dynamics ive left in the entire will they / wont they bucket. and they’re ships i think i could definitely settle for as per my rules. if you do want to ship something, dont be afraid to let me know because i think, looking at it clearly, i probably ship it too ... otherwise, i am going to try my best to handle that fear of overstepping my boundaries where questioning where appropriate. the not knowing is fun but i am also so nervous in it if my muses become too flirtatious / interested in the process.

So I identify as nonbinary and gender queer (though not really trans, doesn't ring true for me personally) and tbh I'm very sick of the Online Queers talking shit about enbies whose partners identify as straight or gay/lesbian rather than bi for "settling for someone who doesn't respect" us.

My partner loves me more than I ever thought humanly possible and respects me possibly even more than he loves me. He also happens to identify as a straight man. When we met, 6 years ago, I still identified fully as a cis woman, and he viewed me as such. About a year ago, I came out to myself and to him, and tbh he doesn't fully "get" all of it because he's literally never had to question anything about his identity in his life up till now, but he tries his best and has never once made me feel like he doesn't see me for the person I've come to realise I am. He is also, obviously, still attracted to me and still loves me just as much, despite our outwardly incompatible clusters of labels.

Maybe the relationship wouldn't have held up if I decided to present significantly more masc or had any inclination to physically transition, etc. but I really don't. Maybe if I'd come out much earlier in the relationship, we would have amicably gone our separate ways. Maybe not. We'll never know because after 5+ years into a serious relationship, you dont really see your partner through the lens of social constructs like gender. You just see them as your person. So there was never really a question for us of how my nonbinariness would or wouldn't affect things. It just didn't factor into it.

If we weren't already together, my partner would likely only approach women. He has only dated women in the past, and apparently never really thought about other options. I am the solitary exception to an extremely strong trend. I'm not insecure enough in my identity to demand he change his whole concept of his sexuality and identity to fit the specific edge case I represent into it. In much the same way that I wouldn't demand a lesbian suddenly identify as bi just because they were attracted to me. Other people's perceptions of my gender, and the interaction their stated sexuality has with that is their business. As long as my partner can reconcile the two in his own head, that's good enough for me.

Identity, and especially queer identities, are so much more nuanced and complicated than a single word can fully capture. It's unreasonable and frankly patronising to assume you know the intricacies of someone else's relationship dynamics based solely on those words. It's also condescending as fuck to tell me my partner doesn't respect my queerness just because he's straight when you don't actually know either of us and I'd thank y'all to butt the fuck out.

Sometimes I hate that my friend group is so close knit because whenever I'm having issues with one person there is never any real escape from them. At least no meaningful one because no matter what things will always circle back to them and I'll be forced to interact.

Yay for kitty eating food! 💜💜💜

Huzzah!! Yeah it's still been rocky lately (this ask is from a few weeks ago) and I'll be honest I still worry every time he breaths a little differently. Maple's appetite has been up and down but he ate pretty well today and it reminded me I had this ask because yeah, every time he eats I am just so proud of him and I have to fawn over him because he's such a good boy, eating his foods. Every bite he takes is a small victory. I've had a rough time of it getting his pills into him lately, but as long as he's eating I can dropper his vitamins into that and then at least I know he's getting nourishment and nutrition to help him restore his blood. It's still tough, but he's a tough little boy kitty and I'm amazed by his strength. I really do just love this little boy so so much.

Anyways, I'm also answering this now because I've gotten a few good pictures of him over the last couple of days and this is an excuse to share cat pictures now :)

He's a model <3

Here he is sitting on the toilet because he's a silly little boy <3 Maybe I should do that thing people do sometimes and toilet train him haha.

And here he and his sister are in one of the rare moments when I have been able to get them not only both laying together but also both looking at the camera! I sent this to my dad captioned "a portrait of your grandchildren" ;)

#Yeah I also keep thinking of that black cat video with the Russian guy saying 'I am not dead today'#Maple is not dead today. and I am grateful #I am still very stressed and worried but I am trying to be happy for every small win #he really is the best little boy cat. he just has the loudest purr of any cat I've had I think #Willa is a very good girl too #her brother is just getting lots of extra attention lately and she's a little jealous. but I make a point to give her lots of snuggles too #yeah. It's hard. but we're doing what we can #as of the first vet visit... a month ago now I guess? his blood levels were at like 20% of what they were supposed to be #and at the most recent checkup a week ago he was up to 40%#which is. still not great. and so we are still giving him the steroids #but like. it's an improvement. which means he's getting better. little by little #I have to have hope #it's hard but we're going through this together. and he's still here with me #animal health tw #animal sickness tw #ask to tag #Maple Nut Goodie #(that's what my mom calls him and it's sort of become his official-unofficial full name)#my baby boy <3 #I call him 'boy' more than anything tbh. though I also address him as Maple too. and my sweet baby boy child and all relevant variations #but yeah we're all cuddled up in bed now. my two babies and I #my ten year old babies #love them so much <3 #ty for asking

Masterlist & Hi Barbie! Hi Ken! [part2, LH44 smau]

Summary: Lewis Hamilton is part-time Formula One driver and full-time fashion icon. And so is his girlfriend, Y/N Y/L/N, who's also known as a real life Barbie.

Warnings: None... but a lot of pink XD. Also this story is set in December 2023, so no broken hearts over Lewis going to Ferrari... actually maybe just a little teaser.

Author's Note: Hi Anon! This request is great and thank you so much for it, it definitely is good enough! :) I had fun writing and creating this, even though at the end it's kind of different than what I firstly intended to do. The original idea was to make Y/N very Barbie coded, but at the end I'd say she's Barbie inspired and I focused more on the fashion icon part of the request. Though there's a sweet storyline about why her nickname is Barbie, so I hope you won't be disappointed! :)
