Bad and Foolish being immortal makes their relationship make so much sense

That being said, Bad and Foolish's friendship to me is the same as the one this Colombian friend group I once met had

Let me explain...

I went to an exchange program once where 4 schools from 4 different countries would be given the chance to have 4 students go to Germany

The people from Colombia explained to us that in their country, most people go to public school, and a lot of private schools are extremely exclusive

Their school happened to be so exclusive that most classes had around 5 people

So for most of your life you saw the same 4 people at school

They seemed to always be either very close or genuinely hate each other. There was this one girl that the other 3 had at arm's length a lot of the time, but they would still hang out and talk casually

I didn't talk much with them myself, but the people I was traveling with confirmed that they seemed to be very toxic; doing things against the other, getting mad at each other about it, and then go clubbing together the next day as if nothing happened.

Because you kind of have to get along, you're gonna see them every single school day until you graduate. If you had more classmates, you could allow yourself to ignore them; but whether you like it or not, they're gonna be a constant in your life.

Now, imagine being immortal. You see most people around you die at some point (if you stay long enough for that), maybe you've even killed some people yourself.

They all come and go, in and out of your mind in a blink.

But there's this one guy you keep encountering. You've known him for a long time, which doesn't happen a lot.

Every few hundreds of years you'd cross paths and hang out. Because... why not? It's one of the only familiar faces you can think of

Sometimes, you get along. Sometimes you don't. Either way, you're still gonna gravitate towards each other and strike conversation every single time

Now you're forced to be in the same place. Of course you're gonna hang out!

You have the weirdest possible conversations (You've already talked about everything else)

You slap him with a fish for hours, you let him slap you with a fish for hours (you've got the patience for it, you've done worst things for longer and the gods know you have the time)

You electrocute him, prank him, flirt with him, offer him emotional support, set him on fire, compliment him, insult him, falsely accuse him of murder, you plan his murder right in front of him, you plan other people's murder together, you tell him your most secret plan, you know when he's hiding things from you

Because he probably knows you more than most people

Because he's your friend

Because he's your sworn enemy

Because what else are you supposed to do

I am so happy with this Twilight design you have no idea. It's a lunar unicorn/alicorn. Her story is pretty much the same in canon up until she becomes queen so not much to add here. I plan on doing another design for when it's queen but that's gonna take a lot more concept art.

The sun on her scarf is a key that let's her into restricted areas of Canterlot castle

Still figuring out the polycule but I know I want it to be married to RD in the next gen stuff.

I have been thinking about Rufus and Sarah's chosen one & osirian dynamic, and how Victor Sr. said that everything went terribly wrong. And I wonder if their deteriorating friendship was caused by the Chosen One and Osirian bond?

Because from Victor Sr. words to Nina in the Senet cell, he says and i quote: " he [the osirian] will never be far behind." which implies that Rufus and Sarah (as well as Nina and Eddie) don't have any choice in the matter, and that they are connected whether they like it or not.

And I wonder if this hunger for power stems from Rufus feeling like he has no choice in the matter, that his life doesn't have any meaning, because the Universe/Fate/Gods had other plans. And it wouldn't suprise me if he started to resent Sarah for that, and he tried to become more powerful ( in his case, becoming immortal) just to feel some resemblance of control over his life, ( and to spite the universe in the process, a big fuck you if u will )

Like I don't think he woke up one day and went: " ahahah i'm evil now!" It was more of a gradual process, yk?

Queen Twilight Sparkle of equestria, element of magic, immortal of unity

Pronoun check! Twilight - She/it

So this was my first draft of Queen Twilight. The idea was to make her look balanced, as the in between of night and day. Well the design is very pretty it's also over complicated and not animation friendly (which I try to keep my designs as), and that's just with the base + crown.

Here's take two, and what'll probably be its final design (give or take A few minor adjustments). She's ment to resemble the spirit of harmony itself, and has lost all her original color, with her becoming A dark purple with light markings. The pink highlights being replaced with the rainbow of its friends coats.

She tries to look mortal, as approachable as possible. And thus keeps her mane in a bun and her regalia to a minimum. The feather on its necklace is from its wife, Rainbow Dash, who at this point has been gone for hundreds of years. The ring on her horn is from her current wife and co-ruler, Sunset Shimmer.

This is Twi by the point of G5, it looked much different at the end of G4.
