You feel awful watching Cregan go crazy with stress, lord after lord sending ravens in attempts to have an audience with the Lord of Winterfell, and you couldn’t do much instead you just watch as his problems keep building up.

“My dear, let me help— please, I could help with the smaller problems,” you tell him knowing full well he’d turn down your offer, but you ask anyway, you just felt so useless standing around doing nothing.

You watch as he shakes your head, “I am the lady of Winterfell, surely that gives me some authority to help” you tell him, and he puts his quill down looking over at you from where he was sitting motioning for you to come over.

“Yes you do, of course, you do— but as my lady, I don’t want you to make yourself sick with stress,” he says, looking up at you with loving eyes, he takes your hands pressing kisses against your healing palms.

Cregan has always been so caring when it came to you, even when he was first courting you he was nothing but gentle, a side of him you didn’t expect, and he made you feel so needed, the way he was always asking for your suggestions on things.

“Well then, at least take a break just for a little,” you say, his hands resting on your hips as your fingers thread through his hair, and he smiles at the feeling.

His chest blooms with adoration, “What would we do my love?” He asks, with genuine curiosity, he knows you’re always going off on your own little journeys, often causing him heart failure in the process but he endures it, anything to keep you happy.

“It’s a beautiful day outside don’t you think? Let’s go out for a walk— that way you can make sure I don’t slip again” You giggle thinking back at the memory, and he looks up at you with unimpressed eyes.

You watch as stands from his chair, stretching as he does, “I’m glad you find it funny dear” he says with a smile, the type you can’t control, “You almost killed me” he says, as he leans down to tie the lace on your boots.

You look down at him, “Yes, but I made it up to you didn’t I?” You tease, and you watch as a gentle red dust against his cheeks slightly at the memory of you by the fireplace.

He shakes his head with a chuckle, draping one of his furs around your shoulders before you both walk side by side making your way outside, and you both feel great, breathing in the fresh crisp air.

You look around at the sight, taking it in, the pure white blanket of snow that covers the ground, gentle snowflakes that fall from the pewter grey clouds, you notice how they collect in Cregan's hair, a storm was brewing you could feel it.

He watches with a smile as you walk slightly in front of him, looking around at the nature that surrounds you both, he watches attentively as you slip slightly on the icy path, and his chest tightens as you regain your balance.

“Please, be careful love, I don’t want another incident,” he says, a hand against your back as you both continue to walk, enjoying the crunch of the snow underneath your boot.

Cregan watches with confusion as you bend down, “Have your laces come undone?” He asks, your silence only confuses him further, and before he can say anything else a snowball comes flying at him, hitting him straight in the chest.

He chuckles at the boisterous laugh that erupts from you, how your eyes squint with joy as you double over clutching your stomach as you continue to launch snowballs at him.

He would run after you, chase you around the snowy landscape, but he recalls back to your incident, how your knees were bloodied and raw and the way your face contorted with pain as the Maesters applied ointment on the wounds, and he doesn’t want to ever see you in pain again.

So, he stands there trying to evade your attack, as he dodges some of them, enjoying the sound of your beautiful laugh, it’s a sound that he swears to the gods could fix all of his problems.

He watches as you pact the snow into a ball before throwing it at him, how the tiny snowflakes collect against the furs you’re wearing, and how they sit in your hair and he thinks you’re the most enchanting person in all of Westeros, you’ve completely captured his heart and soul.

“I win!” You giggle jogging over to where Cregan stands with a huge smile, ear to ear, and it warms him to see.

He wraps his arms around your shoulders bringing you closer to him, “Yes you do my love” he whispers pressing a loving kiss to the corner of your mouth.

He takes a moment to admire you, your beauty and flaws, you mean so much to him and Cregan knows he’d go to war for you.

“Gods I love you, so much,” he says, and you can’t help the fluttery feeling in your belly as you turn suddenly bashful under his loving gaze.

Your hands rest on either side of his face as you pull him down to you, pressing a meaningful kiss to his lips, his cold nose grazing against your skin, “As do I my love” you whisper, lips brushing against his, and you wonder what people would think if they ever seen this side to the lord of Winterfell.

“Come on, let's get you inside my beautiful wife,” he says guiding you back into the castle and to your shared bedchambers, and he thinks he might take breaks more often, then again, he’d do anything to see that wonderful smile of yours.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Thoughts [heavy spoilers below]

not in any particular order, just my thoughts mushed in one post ;)

1. Gotg Vol. 3 was an emotional rollercoaster. I cried and laughed a lot. I did more crying though ;)

2. The guardians are my comfort family. It’s sad to think that we’ll never see them again like this anymore but at the same time, nothing is impossible. I’m also quite interested in seeing the “new” guardian team in action as well.

3. It really seems like Marvel really hates me and my ships in the MCU. First pepperony, palmerstrange, then fosterson, and now starmora? Ok. Ok. I see how it is. I love how they feed us with the romances + the crumbs, and then end them like it was nothing 🫠

4. I don’t know what to think about Adam Warlock. I thought they’d do more with his character but he ended up being a sort of comic relief and that was all. Although perhaps being in the new guardians team and showing up in other movies/shows could change that.

5. Rocket’s backstory was heartwrenching and really had me bawling almost the entire movie. The guardians doing everything they can to save him, like this is the found family I love so much. Not to mention how Peter was crying over Rocket when he was dying like why the additional emotional damage? PAY FOR MY THERAPY MARVEL

- Rocket & Lylla were so damn adorable and I literally gasped out loud when THAT* happened. Rocket, Lylla, Teefs, and Floor were just 😩💕 They all deserved sm better.

6. The many times Peter mentioned that Rocket was his best friend was just so sweet and made me “aww” a lot while clutching my heart and breaking down. Then there’s Drax: “second best friend.” HAHAHAHA 😂😂😂

7. NATHAN FILLIONNNNNNNNNNN (cue my Castle binge a few months ago and having a total nathan fillion/castle phase)

8. Gamora & Nebula’s way of communicating with grunts has me rolling on the floor but also it’s soooooo like them too.

9. The High Evolutionary. Tbf, idk how to really feel about him as the antagonist/villain in the movie. I despised what he did to Rocket and everyone else but other than that I didn’t really care about him. When Rocket took off his mask though and we see what he looked like underneath it? Ick. The one right thing he did was wearing it LMAO

10. THE AMONG US SPACESUITS HAHA

11. Kraglin finally coming in clutch with Yondu’s arrow. I miss Yondu ;;-;; and Krgalin with Cosmo. Cosmo is a good dog <3

12. “You were everything to me.” “I bet we were fun // Like you wouldn’t believe it.” Catch me sobbing till the end of time. My clown a** really thought I’d get my endgame, as if I never learned from my other ships 🤡 Granted, I think they left their relationship on the more open side by the end of the movie, a possibility that could happen in the future, so I won’t be give up. Ever. Because 2014 Gamora, by the end, can acknowledge and perhaps see why Peter and 2018 Gamora were in love. She even said “we,” and I think that’s enough hope for me as is. Including how they were standing back-to-back, the way it was filmed. In general, Chris & Zoe have rlly good chemistry (petition to have them be in a rom-com together). And although I was a bit disappointed with the way things were left out and what wasn’t done, I can see why it’s like that. Doesn’t make it feel much better though. 😭 One day, I’ll write up all the reasons why I love Starmora and how I never recovered and will never forgive them for what happened to Gamora in Infinity War. Other than that... live laugh love Starmora, my precious star-crossed lovers who deserved better. 😃❤️

13. I LIVED for the Nebula + Drax + Mantis dynamic in the movie. We love you Drax, even if you’re invisible sometimes + love the way Mantis was arguing with Nebula and being like “I love Drax even though he’s stupid” LOL 😂 and Nebula saying that Drax is not the destroyer but meant to be a father. I shed tears. Also, Nebula crying when she knew Rocket was ok 🥲

14. Peter yeeting that guy out of the ship was hilarious af but such peak Quill behavior, and the way he and Groot tag-teamed was just 😘🤌

15. The only thing that I disliked about the movie was not the movie itself but the soundtrack. Nothing beats the first movie’s soundtrack. The second had a few that I liked but with the third movie.... there really weren’t any until they brought back ‘Come and Get Your Love’ at the end. Iconic really, how the movies started with it and ended with it.

16. “I love you guys.” When I tell ya’ll I lost it when Groot said that.

17. “The legendary Star-Lord will return.” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???? ARE WE GETTING A SOLO STAR-LORD SERIES OR MOVIE???? It would be amazing if he did, he’s literally my second favorite character in the MCU. I literally broke down seeing him floating in space like that, bout to end it all if they killed him off but thankfully they didn’t 😊 Give mah boi some more love ❤️

19. Thank you Marvel, for the 100th time, for not killing any of the guardians off. I haven’t been this grateful to Marvel since like ever. When promotions for the movie were coming, there were so many “dropped” hints of one or two of the guardians dying in the movie, like the red flags were everywhere. But no, they did the opposite and I’m forever thankful <333

Overall, it was an A M A Z I N G movie. GOTG movies never disappoint me, they’re my second favorite movie trilogy in the MCU for a reason (besides the Iron Man movies ofc). I think the movie was able to do a send-off of all the characters very well by the end, with essentially all their storylines wrapped up in a quite wholesome and hopeful ending. Despite them not being in a team in official capacity anymore, it doesn’t mean it can’t happen sometime in the future. Never lose hope. The whole cast and James Gunn were amazing and really made the movies and characters what they are. I have plenty more to say, but for now this is it.

Rex - Oh my heart. This man. Fearless on the battlefield and awkwardly-standing-guard-for-Anakin with relational situations. He would try to be around you as much as possible until Fives or Jesse asks you out for him. 😂😳

Gregor - Soooo cheerful and not at all shy about it! Asks you like it’s the most natural thing in the world and makes you feel effortlessly at ease! Makes some jokes too, even one too many, but doesn’t care and laughs at his own blunders. 🤣😜

Wolffe - Ok, him and Cody are the two I probably am least familiar with… But from what I’ve read here, he would probably do it with the same vibe he’d have if he were being forced to give a mission status report. 🤣🧐

Very random Drizzt question. You have read The Last Threshold (I adore those comics you draw for the books, btw). The wikipedia plot synopsis (forgive me, I am FAR behind and have a short attention span, I need to cheat to get the lore) describes Drizzt's time in Quick's manor as a "guest/prisoner." I am curious how accurate that is. Was he a "guest" in the same way Johnathan Harker was Dracula's guest? Did he actually have a semi-nice time aside from having to see his friends' petrified bodies every day? Was he like, free-range during the day and then ushered into a cage at nighttime?

Drizzt time in Quicks mansion was wild (I swear like genre change wild. But I liked it, it was interesting, I was just like woah what’s happening🫠)

Effron and Drizzt were separated from the group during a fight in the mansion. At first he was held for a while in a small magical prison together with effron (they bonded there and talked about her life stories) They didn’t get food and they didn’t have guards or something so they didn’t know what would happen. Then Drizzt was kept in a dungeon chained to a wall for months. Here he was fed spoiled food and Quick beat him. He could hear them torturing Effron from the other room. Then after months Quick bid Drizzt to a private quarter where he can live from now on with is warm and comfortable and has good food.

The deal here was that Drizzt didn’t know that Entreri, Dahlia and Afa were petrified but he knew that Effron was tortured if he didn’t obey. That’s why he couldn’t do anything. In this time Drizzt pondered about that he now kinda likes Quick and described his Stockholm syndrome in his diary text. So the range was from the most terrible time to an ok-ish time.

I think it was kinda reversed Johnathan Harker when I think about it 😂 the creepy I’m kept in a strangers house part is at the end of his stay

Ok so basically, it's is a combination of a bookstore owner DR and a DR where the lore of the band Ghost is real! So, the band itself has its own lore, like I mentioned, and its whole deal is that it is part of a (fictional!) Satanic church. (It's theistic Satanism, unlike the Satanic Temple in this reality, which doesn't actually worship Satan.) The lead singer of the band is the head of this church and has the rank of Papa (it's Italian for "Pope"), while the instrumentalists/backup singers are called Nameless Ghouls, or just Ghouls. The ghouls are demons summoned from Hell to serve the church. Fans have named the ghouls because Papa only ever introduces them as "Ghoul" onstage gjkfhbkjf

ANYWAY. The current Papa in this reality is Papa Emeritus IV, originally introduced as Cardinal Copia! (He got promoted hdfgjdhkf) Copia's my s/o! He's the love of my life, the other half of my soul, my everything. Copia, despite being a Cardinal in the Church of Satan, is an awkward doofus with anxiety and I absolutely adore him. He's just so hdjghdfkghfd <3333333 This is him:

Papa Emeritus I, II, and III are his brothers, but they don't know they're related yet. Papa Nihil is their dad, and all four of them are half brothers bc Nihil wasn't one for being faithful :')))) I can get more into the rest of the Satanic Panic's family tree later if you want me to, but to save time here, I'll hold off for now 🥰

Moving on, when I first shift to my DR, it will be when Copia is still a Cardinal and Papa Emeritus III (aka Terzo, the bisexual disaster himself) is still Papa. I have recently inherited a witchy bookshop ("The Witch's Inkwell") near the church's HQ, called the Ministry. Copia, being the world's biggest nerd, is going to swing by because he knew the previous owner, my uncle, and wanted to go shopping for new books. Instead, he sees me! That's how we meet, and thus begins a slow burn romance full of mutual pining and idiots in love. Copia's ghouls (the ones that he personally summoned from Hell) and Terzo are also probably going to try and parent trap us, so sjghkdfhg OH! ...Wow I really went into all this without really talking about myself huh 💀💀💀 Okie dokie then 😭😭😭 My name is Aoibhe (pronounced "EE-vuh," it's Irish fkjjdhgk) and I grew up in Bristol, only to move to Grimsbury when I inherited the shop! In my DR, Ireland was never conquered or colonized, and it has a royal family as famous as the British one. My family is actually distantly related to the Irish crown, too! I actually wrote a lot about the Irish royal family and how they fought off invaders, but the sparknotes version is that the people who would unite the island and lead the fight against those who would conquer it had a form of pyrokinesis! Over time, this ability became rarer and rarer until it vanished entirely, fading into legend. That is, of course, until my brother and I were born ;) So yeah I have fire powers fhjkghfdhf (I know it's cringe but I'm having fun, so let me live 😂😂😂)
