“He did WHAT?!” April’s voice echoed off the walls of your bedroom in disbelief. You had called to tell her about you and Donnie’s fight. You just couldn’t understand why he was so mad at you when you just wanted to help him like he and his family would do for you. He even shouted at you. You knew it was late, and you were grateful that she picked up.

“Yeah.” You took a deep, shaky breath, “I don’t know what to do. He told me he wouldn’t talk to me until I ‘admitted I was wrong,’ but I don’t even know what he wants me to say. I didn’t do anything.”

“Uggghhhh..” Donnie groaned, leaning his head against his cold desk.

“You shouldn’t have picked a fight with them in the first place, Dee.” Mikey sighed, patting his brother on the shell.

“Yeah, yeah.” Donnie grumbled, not even bothering to look up.

You were the one being reckless, right? So why does he feel like such a jerk? He was mad, and it stayed that way for a few hours after he got home but all that anger quickly turned into pure regret.

“Come on. We were all worried when Y/N just jumped into action like that, but you still hurt their feelings.” Mikey rolled his eyes at Donatello’s dismissive attitude, crossing his arms, “I think you need to apologize, ‘kay?”

Donnie sat upright to look at him, furrowing his (drawn on) eyebrows. Worried? About you? …To be honest, that felt right to him. Donnie hadn’t really pieced together what exactly made him snap at you like he did, but he did recognize the guilt he feels every time he replays your hurt, confused expression in his mind repeatedly. It was distracting him, and he was definitely not a fan.

Truthfully what was the most distracting was that deep down he really, really missed you. You hadn’t texted or called him since the argument and he was too anxious to reach out to you first. He knew he couldn’t act like nothing ever happened no matter how much he wanted to.

As much as he hated to admit it, Mikey was right. He does need to apologize; it’s just so hard.

“You know what? Give me just one second to change, bro. I think you need a lesson from…Dr.Feelings.” Mikey winked at Donnie, skipping out of his lab.

“No, not Dr.Feelings, I beg you! Anything but that!”

It was already too late for Donnie to get out of this one.

“April, I appreciate it, but I’m not sure this is such a good idea.” You stood in the doorway of the lair and April grabbed your hand.

She laughed, “You’ll be fiiiiine. Just because you’re not talking to Donnie doesn’t mean you shouldn’t see your other friends. Besides, Mikey invited us over.”

“Well, he’s not talking to me, but you know-“

“Shhhhh!” April shushed you, pulling you into the turtles home, “Heeyyyy! Guys, we’re heeeere!”

You rolled your eyes with a sigh but let her drag you in.

“Hey! I’m so happy you’re here!” Mikey practically sprinted to greet you. Mikey and April shared a look, nodding at each other. Clearly they were up to something, and it made you nervous.

“Soooo…I was thinking we could just watch a movie? The six of us?” Mikey’s tone was off and he seemed too nervous. Not very good at lying, is he?

Oh. All six of you, meaning Donnie would be there. Whatever. It’s not a big deal, right? I mean, he lives there. Still you couldn’t help the nervous pit deep in your stomach (and also the burning of annoyance).

You guys moved to get settled in the living room and soon being joined by Raph and Leo…but where was Donnie? The pit grew.

There was a whisper between Mikey and Leo followed by Leo clearing his throat.

“Ahem. Y/N, would you be a dear and get us some popcorn?”

You looked at him confused (and also afraid), “I mean, I could…but why can’t one of you? You live here.”

Leo looked at Mikey and there was another shared whisper. He turned his attention back to you, “Because we want you to get it…it’s, uh, better when you make it?” Ok, now you were sure something was going on.

You sighed deeply, but begrudgingly stood up. “Alright, fine…but it’s just microwave popcorn…” You muttered the last part under your breath.

You made your way to the kitchen and began to search their cabinets for the popcorn.

“Y/N? Uh, what are you doing?” You jumped at the sudden voice behind you before letting out a breath of relief. It was just him.

“Donatello.” You didn’t even turn to glance at him as you opened the packet of popcorn and made your way over the microwave.

Donnie frowned and scoffed, “I don’t care for your tone.”

“Excuse me? I thought we weren’t speaking.” You side-eyed hard with a glare. A pang of guilt ran through his chest, his face heating up. The energy in the room was tight and full of tension and the silence was so loud and painful.

He walked over to the fridge and pulled out six sodas, placing them on the counter one by one. Dammit. You knew his brothers and April had set this up.

Donnie took a deep breath and cleared his throat, “Hey…um, I just wanted to say…that, uh-“ he breathed out, “I’m sorry.”

You finally turned around to face him and leaned on the counter with the microwave buzzing beside you with a few pops every second, “I’m listening.”

“Look, I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that. I was just…concerned. I didn’t want you to get hurt.” A rare Donatello Hamato heartfelt moment; You knew he really meant it even with his soft scowl as he spoke.

You thought for a moment then smiled reassuringly, “Thank you for apologizing, Donnie. I forgive you, I guess…Hug?” You opened your arms out and reached for him.

Relief instantly washed over Donnie, he would finally be able to sleep tonight. You weren’t mad at him anymore, and he wasn’t mad at you.

“Yeah.” He nodded with a small grin, and loosely embraced you for a moment.

“But for real though, don’t ever yell at me again.”

“Yeah…of course, haha…”

On a whim, you decided it was time to change up your look

You’ve had this hair length and color for a long while, and it was time to change things up for once!

So impulsively, you booked the soonest appointment to your hair salon, deciding that it would be a surprise for your boyfriend as well

You directed the hairdresser the way you wanted your hair, the shade of the color(s), and by the end of it, you could barely recognize the person in the mirror, but you couldn’t be happier to see the new you with your new hair style!

You just hoped your boyfriend would be happy with your new look!!

Raph

Wasn’t expecting the new change, but loved it anyway!

He really doesn't care what you change your hair to, or even if you got a new tattoo or piercing, he just love you

No matter what you look like he loves you either way, but he thinks your new haircut and color is amazing

“Wow! Your new look is awesome, [n/n]!”

“Ooh, and that color is perfect for you too!”

He’ll throw a thumbs up as well, smiling cause he just loves you so much

Will stare at your new hair for a bit, he’s just absorbing the new look

Overall, thinks you look lovely per usual!

Bonus points if you get it dyed red though, he’ll blush a bit more than normal

Leo

He’s a very go-with-the-flow kinda guy, so despite you not impulsively cutting/dyeing your hair before while you two were together, he’s not surprised when you impulsively do it

“Wow babe, you look good!”

“That color is really working for you!”

Will ask for a turn around from you so he can get a 360 of your new hair

Will probably touch your new hair too (unless you two explicitly stated boundaries when it comes to not touching your hair) just because he wants to

Bonus points if you get it dyed blue, will tease you about it specifically, and very much would love your new hair more if you had it dyed his signature color

“What, you love me so much you had to dye your hair blue? Can’t get me out of your head, huh?”

Mikey

Surprised and screamed cause he thinks you look amazing (not that you don’t normally look amazing, but you know what I mean)

Not actually sad he didn’t know about it but would’ve been happier to know about it at least right before you got it cut and dyed

“Ohmigosh [n/n]! Why didn’t you tell me?” He pouts “I so would’ve joined you or helped you pick out a shade of color!”

“Not that you don’t look amazing, because you do! I just like doing things with you!”

Would appreciate to know and go with you next time because he loves spending time with you and wants to experience it with you in the future if/when you get it cut/dyed again

Bonus points if you dye it orange, will fond over it

“Aww and your hair is orange now too! I love it so much!”

Donnie

Would definitely like to know ahead of time

He wanted to be mentally prepared for the new look

He likes to be an organized and somewhat prepared guy, so when you come to the lair with a new haircut and color he has to do a bit of a double take

Tries to be so supportive though

“W-wow, [y/n], your hair-“ and he smiles a bit awkwardly

It’s not that he’s mad at you, just a bit disappointed he didn’t know ahead of time

He still thinks you look handsome and beautiful and loves you no matter what! Just wants to know changes like this ahead of time is all

Demon brothers and side characters react to Luke who has puppy crush on MC

Aww this is so cute~

However, I want to let you know that I will not be including any newer characters. I never finished the first game because I lost the login info a long while ago so I never got to read when characters like Raph and Thirteen(?) were added.

So just to clarify, I will only ever write for the Brothers and Former Undatables until such a time comes where the newer characters are in NB and I can get familiar with them.

But anyway! On with the post~

Lucifer:

Is more or less unbothered by it.

I mean, little kids get crushes; it happens.

He's seen his brothers go through the same as kids in the celestial realm

So he expects no different from Luke.

His opinion remains the same even if Lucifer is dating MC.

He's a bit annoyed if Luke's puppy crush causes the boy to become a bit possessive of MC though.

Mammon:

Tries to pretend it doesn't bother him

But it does.

I mean, that kid is always hanging off of MC and following them around.

When can the Great Mammon just have time with his human and only his human?

If Mammon and MC are dating, you can bet he will be childish enough to fight the young angel for MC's time.

Not like real fighting, but definitely compete with the child.

Maybe even make a bet on who can convince MC to spend the most time with them in a week

Just to end up owing Luke a hefty amount of grimm.

Leviathan:

Is just plain bummed.

Not about Lukey crushing on MC, but because of him taking up so much of their time.

Even if he's dating MC, he won't get competitive with the kid for MC's time.

Boy just sulks.

Luckily, MC notices his sulking and makes an effort to even out their time between Luke and Levi, to the child's disappointment.

Basically, he dislikes Lukey having a crush on MC because it means he gets less time with MC.

Satan:

Like Lucifer, the fourth brother really isn't bothered by it.

At first.

After Luke starts making a habit of dragging MC away while they were spending time together, the wrath demon begins to lose his patience with the angel.

May or may not have threaten the little angel to stop this

Resulting in Luke crying to Simeon, Simeon going to Lucifer, and Satan getting stuck in Lucifer's study while being lectured by the two older men.

Him threatening Luke is more likely if he's dating MC, but even if Satan isn't dating MC, there's still a chance .

It's not the best response to a little boy having his first crush, but hey, this is the Avatar of Wrath we're talking about.

He could have done much worse.

Asmodeus:

Oh Asmo thinks its just so adorable.

I mean, Lukey baby has a crush!

Regardless of whether Asmo is dating MC or not, he won't be upset that they're who Luke likes.

Because of course that sweet angel has a crush on his Dolly! Who wouldn't?

Acts the same as always

Though might be a teensy bit more jealous than he shows if Luke is spending more time with MC than he is.

But its fine! He just joins the two with whatever they are doing.

It bugs Lukey, but MC is happy spending time with them both so it's all good.

Beelzebub:

Honestly took a bit for this man to even realize Luke was crushing on MC.

More likely than not, he finds it out from hearing his other brothers complain about it.

Finds it cute, but doesn't gush about it like Asmo.

Misses spending time with MC as much as he used, but understands why Lukey wants to spend more time with them now.

Sometimes, he will hang out with both of them, but he doesn't force it like Asmo does.

Overall just kinda accepts thats this is how things are for now

And honestly enjoys seeing how happy spending time with MC makes Luke and seeing him practically hang from their arm with a big smile.

The little angel is happy and MC enjoys spending time with him.

That's all that matters to this big guy.

Unlike with the other brothers, Beel's feelings on the situation don't change if he's dating MC.

If his Muffin is happy then he's happy. Simple.

Belphegor:

Okay listen here, you little chihuahua--

Belphie is not a fan of Luke's newfound crush on MC

Especially since he feels the need to wake him and MC up to see if MC will bake with him.

He's done this more than once and this sleepy grump hates it.

If he's dating MC, Belphie hates it even more.

Like ya, ya , puppy crush, right.

How about choosing a different person to crush on?

Unlike Satan, Belphie doesn't threaten the angel; he's just pretty dismissive of him.

"Can MC--" No.

Him and MC get into some arguments about it.

Overall, Belphie's just a big grump about it.

Diavolo:

Like Asmo, finds Luke's crush on MC to be cute.

All kids develop a crush at some point

And with how good MC is with him, it was almost inevitable.

The human is always up for baking with him and listening to him when he learns something new or finds something that her likes.

Not to mention that MC just has a knack of making people feel special, regardless of whether they are an angel, demon, or human.

Overall, not bothered by it in the slightest.

Even if Dia and MC were dating, he still wouldn't mind how often the little boy is dragging them by the hand and filling up their time.

Dia himself is always busy with work so if anything, this man is grateful that the sweet angel is spending so much time with his Queen while he himself can't.

Overall, Dia finds Luke crush on MC to be cute and hopes the two have fun while he works.

Barbatos:

Was quick to notice Luke's little crush.

With that realization came a smile, but otherwise, the butler gave it very little thought.

Afterall, that is Luke's business and not his.

If Barb and MC are dating then the answer is similar to Dia's.

This busy man is just glad his Love is enjoying their time Luke.

Solomon:

Oh this man could tell. Luke wasn't exactly discreet with his crush.

I mean, no child is really discreet when they are crushing on someone.

Plus, he noticed how frequent Luke would join him and MC when they hung out.

Ah childhood.

It's been so long that this wizard couldn't remember much of his own childhood, but he enjoyed watching Luke experience his.

Will lightly tease Luke about it every now and then, but overall is just glad that his little angel friend is happy.

Solomon's view doesn't change, regardless of whether he and MC are dating.

It's just an innocent crush after all.

Simeon:

This man figured it out on his own

But it still meant a lot to him when Luke told him.

Luke told him that he wishes he could marry MC when he's older, but was sad that MC probably won't live long enough to see him him become a grown up.

Simeon comforted the child and told him that was all the more reason to treasure his friendship with the human now.

If Simeon is dating MC, he'll feel a bit awkward about the smaller angel's crush.

I mean, his relationship with MC is a secret after all.

Honestly, he's just worried that if the little boy found out that he'd feel betrayed that his guardian was dating his crush without telling him

But Simeon had to keep it a secret. From everyone. It was the only way to keep MC safe and without drawing the eyes of the Celestial realm upon them.

Casey Jones Jr.

the moment the boy lays eyes on y/n and sees their easy-going nature, he is head over heels. the emotion practically hits him like a truck and it's all so… new?

it's something he can't initially explain and for a little while, he worries that he's dying or sick from the new york air - he will constantly check in with donnie and ask for every test under the sun to determine the cause

all he knows is that when y/n is around, his face gets hot, his knees are weak, his palms start sweating, and his heart beats wildly in his chest. being an apocalypse survivor, this adrenaline-like feeling can only be attributed to danger or shock

and as far he knows, y/n doesn't pose any danger, right? they've been like family to him and he sees so many admirable traits in them that he had once seen in his sensei (who happened to be the greatest ninja ever); he's genuinely confused by the whole thing

he might try to keep his distance until he figures out why this is happening, but he won't say no to joining y/n on little adventures. he enjoys the company and he especially appreciates how helpful they've been in getting him adjusted to life in present-day new york

"hey, why don't i come along? i'm sure you can handle yourself but i'd be happy to be there for you."

he can't help but compare a lot of what y/n does to how his sensei was in his old timeline. he doesn't mean to do it, he just misses his old mentor and y/n's presence is a familiar comfort to him. leo is great and all, but there's something special about y/n.

casey deals with some pretty major insomnia and when he finds it hard to sleep at night, the first thing he does is call up y/n. they thankfully answer every time and their voice easily manages to soothe the poor boy to sleep (he will snore LOUDLY into the phone when he falls asleep during the call)

he's constantly worried about y/n's safety and will check in on them often when they're not in the lair or at home. he's even asked donnie to make y/n their own communicator so he can keep in contact with them if they're ever in danger.

y/n is one of the first people casey jr will open up to about his rough upbringing. some things are just too painful to bring up to the hamato family, but he knows it hurts more to keep it all bottled up. he loves how accepting they are of him and how sympathetic they can be about his… shall we say, emotional fragilities.

not that he's emotionally fragile, but he sure enough has a lot to sort through and y/n gives him the courage to tackle it head-on and accept where he is and who he is now

on his first attempts at flirting with y/n, he managed to straight out admit he had a crush on them without realizing it. boy is so clueless that he doesn't realize what he's done until he sees the shock on their face

"Hey, Y/N. I, uh, have another joke for you." Casey hadn't looked up from his little joke book as he spoke, squinting as he studied the content as if he'd suddenly understand it better if he just stared at it long enough. Y/N sat lazily on a couch not too far from the boy, head buried in a copy of the latest Jupiter Jim comic book. They paused their reading only to let out a hum of acknowledgement.

"What is it this time? Chicken cross the road again or knock knock?"

"Who's there?" the boy chimed absent-mindedly.

Y/N let out a soft giggle as they set their book down.

"No, genius, you're the one that's supposed to start." They couldn't help but roll their eyes as a smirk tugged at the corner of their lips. Though progress had been slow, they'd hoped a joke book would give Casey a much needed boost considering his previous, pitiable attempts at jokes that more often than not became a moment of oversharing his tragedy. The poor boy was utterly hopeless when it came to comedy.

"Oh, right." Clearing his throat, he straightened himself as if he were getting ready to give a speech, "Okay, knock knock!"

"Who's there?"

"Candice…"

"Candice who?"

"Candice be love I'm feeling for you?"

The weight of his words were completely lost on him as Casey beamed with pride, his joke landing with no mistakes or stuttering. It was no secret that Y/N and Casey were close, but in the short period of time they'd come to know each other, Y/N had developed some deep affections for the boy. The constant struggle to keep themselves in check around him had started taking its toll. It had gotten to the point that Y/N needed to keep their yearning eyes on something- ANYTHING ELSE- when he was around to keep from visibly flustering, the ever-present blush threatening to expose their true feelings. Feigning a soft chuckle, Y/N could only hide their face deeper in the comic they were reading and hope that any flutter of emotion went totally unnoticed.

"R-Really, was that your idea of a good joke?" their attempts at a tease came off a tad more hostile than playful.

Casey responded with a chuff of his own, "Ah, yeah I guess it doesn't make sense if I already know it's true."

"Sometimes comedy takes-" the sudden impact of his words hit them all at once, caught like a deer in headlights while they froze mid-sentence. Peering over at the raven-haired boy revealed an equally shocked expression painted across his reddening face. His mouth opened only to shut itself again and again clearly trying and failing to summon the words to explain his little blunder. Y/N had him beat in regaining some semblance of composure, shaking off the bashfulness.

"Did…" their voice caught in their throat before they started again, "What exactly did you mean by… erm, by that?"

Casey's eyes darted in every direction attempting to search for an answer anywhere he could find it.

"Well, I just- It was really-" he let out a sigh and braced himself, "I'm not sure what to call this feeling but I think it's something like love. I might… maybe love you?"

"Maybe?!"

Y/N shot up from their seat, arms over their head in disbelief and their steps beginning to pace.

"Y-You can't maybe love someone! That's a pretty serious feeling!"

They stopped partway through their rapid pacing to search Casey's bewildered expression causing it to soften a bit under their close observation.

"I don't know if what I feel is exactly what you'd call love, but it... feels close enough to that. I mean... Y/N, when I look at you, my heart starts racing, my head starts spinning, everything feels light and airy. And when you're gone, all I want to do is look for you and see your smile, see the way your eyes light up, listen to your laugh."

His unfocused gaze forced itself up to meet theirs, wide with earnest affection.

"Life here's been… heh, it's confusing to say the least. And these feelings are just as confusing. And for a while I thought it was crazy. Thought I was crazy to believe I could love someone this quickly. But… It'd be so much easier for me to understand if I knew you felt the same?"

Even if this new emotion had been confusing for him, this very moment was one that made it all click in his mind. He was in love all along.

But after seeing you interact with Mikey he started having feelings

If you get along with his favorite brother, you're gold in his eyes

People didn't approach you because you were intimating, could probably beat up anyone that laid eyes on you

No one approached Donnie because he will destroy their confidence, ego

But he knew the real you

He'd do anything to make you smile because it made him happy

In turn, you'd try to make him smile

You were always gentle with things, especially Donnie's projects

You gushed every time he made you something

He's down bad

Leo

He's extremely friendly

He's charismatic and sassy

People tended to like him or be pretty neutral towards him

You made him anxious, all he could think about was how you could obliterate him with a snap of your fingers

Ever since you met Donnie, your boyfriend, you've been fighting your habits.

You have always been an extremely affectionate girl, fond of hugs and walking holding hands with the other person.

All this gives you energy and happiness, the joy of feeling the other person's skin in contact with yours, feeling their warmth and the tranquility that they transmit to you through touch.

All this was like oxygen for you. Or at least I thought so until you met your current boyfriend Donatello.

From the first moments of your acquaintance he immediately told you that he wasn't comfortable with physical contact and this left you particularly surprised, and at the same time disappointed.

You, a person who loves physical contact, would have had to completely change your habits for us to create any sort of discomfort for your boyfriend.

Not that it destroyed you, let's be clear, you would do anything not to make him feel bad and respect his wishes, but it's still difficult to keep your love for physical contact in check.

However, you tried in every possible way not to hug or caress him except when he specifically asked you to.

It was difficult at first, but over time you got used to it.

You had started to appreciate the company much more when you were in the same room talking or simply when he asked you to keep him company while he worked on some new invention of his.

Every time he asked you to follow him to the laboratory and keep him company your heart exploded with pure joy.

You entered the room and sat on a chair next to him, carefully watching everything he did.

And even if it didn't seem like much to you, to Donnie it was the most important form of love you could give him.

The simple fact that you were there to keep him company, getting curious about what he was doing and occasionally asking about the two creations, made him understand how much you cared about him and how much you wanted to get closer to his world unlike his family.

Today too was a day like any other, you had finished class and immediately headed towards the turtles' den.

As soon as you arrived you were greeted by a super enthusiastic Mikey who immediately ran towards you to hold you in a super hug.

Not seeing Donnie around, you thought he was busy with one of his inventions, which is why you decided to only mention your presence.

You approached the door of his laboratory and knocked -Donnie, I've arrived, if you need me I'm here, I love you-

Immediately afterwards you went back to Mikey who in the meantime had also been joined by Leo and Raph.

The four of you remained chatting about this and that.

You had talked about your school day while the three turtles had talked about their last patrol.

As you continued talking, however, suddenly Donnie came out with a more tired face than usual.

You had looked at him with concern but instead of speaking he grabbed your hand and dragged you inside his laboratory.

Once he entered and closed the door however, he released your hand to return to his chair.

Not understanding exactly what was happening, you approached your boyfriend -Donnie, what's going on?- you tilted your head to try to look him in the eyes, but without succeeding.

Instead of getting an actual response you only managed to hear a small huff from the boy.

-Donnie, if you don't tell me what's wrong I can't help you...- you gently place a hand on his shoulder trying to give him a minimum of tranquility to make him talk.

Unfortunately, however, there was no response.

Now totally lost in worry with both hands you grabbed the soft shell turtle's face and turned it towards you so that your gazes met.

-Donnie, I know you need your space but I'm here, I'm your girlfriend and I want to help you. I'm worried. It hurts me to see the person I love in this state, so please, tell me what's wrong- you caress his cheeks with your thumbs.

Viola remained there looking at you with slightly shining eyes and finally, with a trembling and uncertain voice, she opened her mouth -c-can I have a hug...?-

Your heart skipped a beat for fear of not having fully understood what you had just been asked.

However, as soon as you realized that those words had really come out of Donnie's mouth you smiled sweetly -Of course you can love-

You pulled him into a big hug and he seemed to melt.

His muscles, which until a moment before were stiff, had softened and held you in that embrace.

Donnie sighed and seemed to calm down.

He nodded in response but didn't say anything, he just remained there, enjoying that embrace full of love and tranquility.

What is your favorite and least favorite version of all the turtles?

I feel like it’s fairly obvious who I favour the most if you read my chat fic, Too Many Turtles (I have a lot of bias, oops) but I shall break it down.

Ok so favourites:

1987: Michelangelo (come on, he’s a surfer dude and actual angel)

90’s: Donnie (the snark he has with Casey makes my day, though Mikey is still second because he genuinely has the best relationship with Donnie I love watching those two interact)

2003: Mikey, duh. Just look at my blog and my fanfics. I love this chaotic gremlin.

2007: Mikey (again! Especially after hearing about the cancelled sequel of him joining the foot, his brothers demutating, etc. I will say I am looking forward to finally getting to the 2007 plot line in my chat fic, it’s gonna be great >:) )

2012: Raph (I haven’t watched much 2012 at all, I just can’t. I don’t know why people think it’s good in all honestly aside from a few episodes, but from what I’ve seen and mostly read about Raph gets way too much abuse dude, someone give this turtle a hug)

Bayverse: Donnie, followed closely by Mikey. (Idk why but the “younger sibling energy” they give these two is actually great. And Donnie’s little stims and the fact that he licks the icing off pop tarts and puts them back in the box just about pushes him above Mikey.)

2019: Mikey (again. Come on. Have you seen him in that movie?)

Rise: Donnie, followed closely by Mikey. (For me they are both pretty much even in different ways. I love Donnie’s chaotic neutral status and Mikey got boosted quite a bit after the movie, and the rage I feel whenever I hear about hall the episodes he was the star of but then they cancelled almost all of them.)

Mutant Mayhem: Mikey (Something about seeing him sadly look through a sewer grate at the humans with that music in the background made me want to protect him forever. Also I love his effort to try and be a comedian but his jokes are…um yeah. As a second I would actually say Leo - I know, strange for me - but idk, he’s just an anxious mess.)

And now least favourites, strap in boys:

1987: uuuh Leo I suppose. Kind of a fun sponge

90’s: again, Leo (though this doesn’t mean I dislike him; I really liked how happy he got when Raph woke up and the way he guarded him before then. He’s just the least favourite.)

2003: Leo (again, the same reasoning i iterated with 90’s. I really like this Leo but compared to the other brothers…he falls a little shorter.)

2007: Leo (Patronising Asshole)

2012: OK, this one is weird. I dislike Donnie the most by far only when he is simping for April. When they let him not have this as his only character trait he’s actually fun to watch but DEAR GOD I hate him when he kept being a creep to her.

Bayverse: Leo (He insulted Mikey, he must die /jk)

2019: Um I guess Raph? I like all of them pretty much equally, don’t really have a least favourite at all.

Rise: Leo (yeah I don’t like him. Don’t get why the fandom does. Still an ass)

"Hey guys, I'm home... what the shell happened?"

Donnie sighed, "So, basic rundown. Mikey was manipulated by Chris Bradford into thinking they were friends, but turns out he works for the Foot."

You felt your vision go red, the familar feeling you get when someone harms your brother creeping up, "I'm sorry, what?"

Raph huffed, "Some douche bag celebrity tricked Mikey."

You hummed, setting down your bag, "You said Chris Bradford?"

"Mhm."

"Ok, I'll be back later."

"You just got back." Donnie said, shooting you a questioning look.

"Yeah, where are you going, Ane-chan?" Mikey asked.

You looked back at him with a smile as you pocketed your wallet, "To either get ice cream, or commit a felony. I'll decide on the way."

Before anyone could say anything else, you left, leaving behind some very confused brothers...

You arrived at Bradford's dojo rather quickly, and you quickly plastered on a smile of feighned innocence.

Walking in you smiled at the man in question, and he paused his current lesson to walk over to you, "Can I help you, miss..?"

Ignoring his question of your name with feighned stupidity, you looked up at him, "Oh, I sure hope so! You see I'd like to sigh up for some lessons! It's just not safe for a young gal like me to walk around New York with no way to defend myself, so I thought, 'Why not go to the one and only Chris Bradford for help!' and so here I am!" you smiled innocently.

The idiot chuckled, "Well, I'm always happy to teach the younger generation, my assistant will give you an extra robes and discuss payment, then you can join the class."

When he turned around to continue his lesson, you smirked wickedly, this poor idiot had no idea he was about to be schooled, Hamato style...

The entire lesson, you pretended to know nothing of ninjitsu, all the way up to the end where apperently it was tradition for Bradford to spar any new comer to, 'See how much they learned' aka, 'Make myself look better'.

You stood in the middle of the dojo, Bradford standing opposite to you while the staff and students stood off to the side.

"I won't be taking it easy on you." Bradford said, snarkily in your opinion.

"Oh, I sure hope so, Sensei." you said, innocent act gone and a scowl present.

Bradford noticed the change and you could tell he had grown nervous, but knew he couldn't back out without looking dumb infront of his peers and students.

His assistant shouted, "Start!" and the fight began with Bradford attempting to pull you into a chokehold.

You dodged, and just the way your father had taught you to take down anyone bigger, you used Bradfords momentum to yank him to the ground, his arm held behind him with one of your feet on the back of his neck.

He tried to stand up and push you off himself, but you pulled his arm tighter, and placed more pressure on the back of his neck.

"Uh- uhm, f-finished!" Shouted his assistant.

You let Bradford go, and backed up as you bowed at each other. When you straightened, Bradford glanced at you with malice, muttering, "Who are you?"

You smirked, "Oh, you've met my brothers. I'm Hamato (Name), but you can call me karma, bitch. That, was for Mikey."

"How dare you come here, Hamato, and embarass me in my own dojo-"

"How dare you mess with my kyoudai?" You scowled.

You moved to collect your things, walking out the door as you shouted, "Send Oroku Saki my regards dickweed!"

You began your way home, stopping by a convenience store to pick up a big gallon of napolian ice cream.

You then arrived home, the gallon of ice cream in hand, "Kyoudai! Otou-sama! I'm home!"

Mikey ran into the main room from the kitchen, "No way, GUYS ANE-CHAN BROUGHT HOME ICE CREAM!"

Donnie walked in, glancing at the bag now in Mikey's hand, then at you, "So I take it you didn't commit a felony?"

"I did both." you grinned, taking the ice cream back from your youngest brother so you could actually get everyone some.

Donnie sighed, and Leo and Raph joined you on your way to the kitchen, "What did you do?"

"I didn't pay a dojo fee."

Leo looked at you confused as he accepted the bowl of ice cream you handed him, "Dojo fee- (Name) you didn't..."

"HA!" Raph snorted, holding up his t-phone to show a gif of you slamming Bradford into the ground, "Look at what's trending all over the internet, 'Chris Bradford gets his butt beat by a female student.'"

Mikey smiled, "No way! You beat up Chris Bradford?"

You nudged Mikey's shoulder, "Sure did. The idiot didn't stand a chance."

"Wow, you're awesome, Ane-chan!"

"Anything for you, otouto."

It’s kinda been paining me, how much everyone seems to love their dynamic so much, but knowing I’ll have to separate them for a time.

I promise there will be no major character death. There’s one character that I might kill off, but it’s for Cass’s backstory and to explain why she would turn so quickly against the foot clan…

As for Venus, she will be alone for a time still. And her reunion with Donnie will not be the best. Between his guilt and her anger over being left behind, things get pretty vitriolic. She’s secretly happy to see Donnie safe and healthy, but she’s on a mission for Big Mama and a lot resentful about being left behind.

Big Mama will see that abandonment and work her way into the cracks of Vee’s armor where she was never able to before. And Mikey’s going to have a lot of bonding with Vee over that. He’s going to have a tough time trying to convince his twin that Big Mama is using her.

But by the time the family does the ritual for Draxum, Venus will be more of an ally, and then she’ll only grow closer to them from there. Once they have her, they refuse to let her run back to Big Mama.

And not to spoil too much, here’s some clues into her dynamics with the boys. Venus is antagonistic (affectionate) to Mikey, outright hostile (derogatory) to Leo, protective (affectionate/derogatory) of Donnie, and slightly resentful of Raph. When she joins the family they really lay on the baby sister vibe and it drives her nuts.

The teasing if they found out that they were dating? The two were sure it would be even more ruthless. Yeah, they were okay with this. Surely, there can’t be an accident just waiting to happen that would expose them.

There was a slight pep in Y/N’s step as she made her way through the abandoned subway system. It was a familiar journey. So familiar actually that she was almost sure she could find her way without looking. Not that she would try that though. There was still a chance she would get lost and honestly, she didn’t want to go through the whole spiel of calling the mutant turtle brothers to tell them that she managed to get lost in the old subway system because she wanted to see if she could make the journey with closed eyes.

No, she didn’t want to be a bigger burden than she already was. Y/N wasn’t a fighter like them, April or even Casey. The only way she really helped them was that she used the fact that she is a normal human who could walk around and get the things the Hamato family needed.

Well, okay maybe she was selling herself a bit short. There have been times where she helped outside of this since she was actually a pretty good programmer. It was a hobby she worked on basically ever since she could use a keyboard.

When she began hanging out with the turtles, she would usually be found inside Donnie’s lab with him talking about some new algorithm, programming work or the like. It was to be expected that when Y/N joined their little band that Donnie would start hogging her attention seeing how he rarely got a chance to talk shop. Sure, the others listened, kind of, but Y/N could actually give feedback at some points. He could actually bounce ideas off of her and brainstorm some possible solutions.

In fact, the reason why she was making her way to the lair of the little ninja clan was because she wanted to show Donnie her code she has been working on. Well, it started as her code but at this point it had been a project the two have been working on together whenever possible. It was essentially a translator program for the Krang language. It was a bit more complicated than a simple translator since the Krang language was so very much different from what they knew, and this was supposed to help with reprogramming Krang tech but that’s details.

At the lair Y/N could already spot Mikey, Raph, Donnie, and April sitting in front of the TV watching some old cartoon movie.

“Hey guys! Not a lot going on today?” she nodded towards the TV as she walked up to them, trying to see what they were watching.

April was the first to react and got up from the couch, squeezing Y/N in a short hug as a greeting “Oh, Y/N! What’s up? We are just kind of doing nothing. Not much to do.” Her eyes meeting Y/N’s with a big and happy smile.

April has become a really good friend over time, the two bonded pretty fast seeing how they were the only two girls in this group. When the boys were off doing their own things April and Y/N began to hang out and have their own fun. She can’t really recall how it started but the two started to bake together when the time allowed it. They were definitely not amazing, and it was kind of more fun to make really ugly cakes that they would bring over to the boys for them to judge.

Y/N chuckled “Wow, sounds exciting.” She took a step to the side so she could take a look at the other three. Raph just gave her a short wave as a greeting.

Mikey had his typical wide smile on “Wanna join?”

And Donnie just had a soft smile on his lips as he gave a quick wave as well. When Y/N returned his wave with her own his smile widened into a toothy grin.

“I mean, maybe? I just came over because I wanted to show Donnie something and get his input on my code.” Y/N moved her backpack to her front and looked through it only to pull a hard drive out of it.

This made Donnie jump up from the couch “Oh! Really? I wanna see it! Let’s go!”

“Nerds!” Raph snorted out as he saw how eagerly Donnie walked over to Y/N to usher her back to his lab.

Y/N stuck her tongue out “You are just jealous that we are smarter than you.”

Raph rolled his eyes “That was a weak comeback, Y/N.”

“And yet you don’t deny it.”

But before Raph could say anything more Donnie laid his hand on Y/N’s shoulder to forcefully make her move towards his lab. He tried to just quietly move along but she could see him smile. To everyone else it was just him being amused at the banter, but Y/N was sure she could spot a bit of pride.

It was probably because she openly admitted to being smart since she usually refused to do so, even if it was in a joking manner. Mostly because she didn’t really believe it. Her knowledge with tech was just from a lot of experience. Donnie would always refute that though, saying that he did the same. She believed that he was really smart which also stemmed from the fact that he began learning about technology and more ever since he could read and do so. Besides she could keep up with him! She might not know a lot about biology but when Donnie explained things to her, she would usually understand it easily and even recall the information every time. So in a sense both were the same and since she agreed that he was smart it also meant that she had to be smart.

Inside the lab Donnie made sure to close the door so the others in the lair couldn’t interrupt. As he did so, both seemingly let out a breath that they were holding in.

Y/N immediately slid her backpack off and placed it next to Donnie’s desk.

“So, uh, you wanted to show me your code?” Donnie asked, he had a bit of self-assured grin on his face but the way he played with his own hands spelled nervousness.

“That, but also,” she stepped closer to Donnie, moving up to give his cheek a little kiss “I wanted to see you, of course.”

At that Donnie had to chuckle, he placed his hands on the sides of her face, his thumbs slowly running along her cheeks as he softly pressed his lips against hers.

“I literally snuck out yesterday to visit you.”

Still in Donnie’s arms Y/N pouted “Yeah you were at my place only for like five minutes. Can you fault me for wanting to spend more time with my boyfriend?”

His blush deepened, an embarrassed giggle escaped him “I love that word.”

“Well lucky you then because as it stands that’s what you are. You are my boyfriend. I am your girlfriend and I love you so much.”

And there it was. That dopey grin on his face that showed off his adorable tooth gap. His face ablaze as Donnie.exe stopped working. He only managed to whisper a shaky “I love you too.”

Y/N laughed, pressing another kiss at the corner of Donnie’s mouth before sitting down on one of the chairs that she had claimed as hers over time.

Donnie took another beat to live and enjoy the moment only to shake his head to pull himself out of his stupor. He moved fast to sit down next to Y/N on his own chair. His smile ever present on his face. It made Y/N’s heart flutter. She couldn’t help but be aware how he always had a smile when she was around and just the thought that her presence could do that to him made the butterflies in her stomach go wild.

“What are you thinking about?” Donnie pulled her back out of her own mind. A curious gaze in his eyes mixed with genuine interest.

Oh, the butterflies got worse. He was always so genuinely interested in what was going through her mind and it was something she appreciated so much about him.

Realizing that she must have stared at him she quickly averted her gaze, suddenly embarrassed “Uh, just thinking about how happy I am with you.”

The blush that began to settle on Donnie’s face immediately broke out again into a bright one “I thought you wanted me to look at your code and not metaphorically kill me with, uh, being so sweet and nice and just you.”

Y/N laid her cold hand against her warm cheek “To be fair! To be fair!” she exclaimed, turning back around to the tall mutant “We don’t often get the chance to be like this. We often hang out with the others so-“

She didn’t have to end the sentence for Donnie to know what she meant. Giving her a knowing nod as a response.

When the two got together they decided to keep their relationship secret. The reason? Oh, mostly because the others of their group were relentless when it came to crushes. And that was just crushes. The two were positive that it would be even worse should they find out that they were actually dating.

Donnie’s brothers have been teasing him now for years about his crush he used to have on April and something similar happened to Y/N when they thought that she might have a crush on a classmate of hers.

She sometimes had to refuse to go visit the mutant turtles because she was tutoring a classmate which the others interpreted as her hanging out with a potential crush. How they jumped to that conclusion Y/N still wasn’t sure.

The thing is, Donnie fully jumped in back then to tease her just as much as his brothers. Stating something like “Oh! Now I get why you guys keep doing it! It is actually pretty funny. Interesting what a change of perspective can do, huh?” Now that the two are together Y/N made a point to sometimes remind him of this. Maybe even sometimes using this to win a few discussions. What Donnie now knows is that even back then Y/N already began having a little crush on him.

Donnie sighed, laying his arm around Y/N “Alright, plug the hard drive in. Let’s see what you worked on.”

“Oh! Coding and chill, my favorite!” Y/N laughed as she plugged the device in.

“It better be, it’s how we started hanging out after all.” He placed another kiss against her temple.

Now the two thought they were actually really subtle when it came to their relationship but once their relationship changed from friendship to romantic there were bound for some things to maybe be suspicious.

The most noticeable one was that those two couldn’t stand to be apart from each other when all of them hung out and normally this wouldn’t have been a big deal. Surprise the nerd finally found another nerd to actually talk to, makes sense that they spent time together.

No, the problem was mostly about how Donnie’s behavior changed ever since he started getting to know Y/N. For years now he tried his best to impress April and spend time with her and suddenly over time it began to lessen. More and more. It happened gradually but his brothers noticed a change especially when they compared his behavior from before.

It was Mikey who first brought it up. He was chewing on some pizza while hanging out with Raph and Leo. Donnie was as per usual in his lab hanging out with Y/N. Both were just moment before screaming about some breakthrough and then rushed into the lab. Securing the door so no one could disturb their concentration. Also while Donnie and Y/N were actually quite mild mannered but when you interrupted their work the two could be very scary. Even Y/N who wasn’t a fighter, but the others were sure that in these moments she would be capable of manslaughter, easily.

So, the group that got left behind was very content to sit back and eat some pizza to bridge their boredom for now.

“You think he changed much?” Leo mirrored Mikey’s statement only as a question, trying to get him to clarify.

He nodded “Yep. I noticed it yesterday. Normally when Donnie hears that April came over, he would happily hang out with her but not yesterday. He just said he was busy and once again closed himself off in his lab.”

Raph just shrugged “Eh, so what. Might have finally realized that he never had a chance.”

Leo in return seemed to ponder that but not before giving Raph a bit of a stern stare “Maybe? Though if you really think about it, it has been going for a while now that he doesn’t react the usual when it comes to April, huh. I just never noticed because it was such a gradual change.”

“So, you guys just think he got over his crush on April? Just like that?” Mikey leaned over the table as he grabbed another slice.

“I dunno?” Raph seemed irritated at this topic “Why care anyhow? Hopefully means he will be less annoying.”

“Raph.” Leo warned him but continued with a slight grin “You really aren’t even a little bit curious if there might be a reason for his change?”

“What do you mean? He stopped having a crush because he is way too busy being nerdy with our human nerd. Working on projects and then the next and the next. You know how he is with tech.” He had his eyes closed, biting off a piece of his pizza as he tried to fight off the feeling of annoyance. Sure, it was fun teasing Donnie for his feelings towards April but in the end, he didn’t care too much about the whole emotions thing.

But when his brothers stayed quiet, no chastising or another quip, he opened his eyes again. His two brothers looked at him as if he just suddenly solved life’s mysteries in front of them.

“What?”

But Mikey just looked at Leo “You don’t think-?”

“I mean… it would make sense, right?”

“But he’s been crushing on April for so long! There is no way that-“

“Yeah, but it just fits in with everything.”

Okay, Raph had enough “Can you guys please finish your sentences and stop this weird half telepathic conversation because I cannot follow you at all! And since when do you guys gossip like that?”

“It’s the boredom.” Mikey silently explained.

“Can you please tell me what is going through your guys’ minds already?”

Mikey sighed, placing his half-eaten pizza piece down. Apparently, this was serious enough that he had to put his pizza away “You don’t think… that Donnie has a crush on Y/N, do you?”

Raph raised his eyebrow as he thought about it for a second “Well… I don’t know! You really think he got over April that fast? You sure it’s not just him being happy to finally have another nerd friend to be nerdy with?” Why was he defending Donnie like that anyway? How was he the only one being sensible right now? Isn’t Leo supposed to reign them back in and say something like “This is Donnie’s thing let’s not assume things.” Or something like that?

“Well, sure. That might be the case. I guess it’s really the first time he has someone to actually chat and discuss things with that we don’t understand.” Leo thought out loud.

Satisfied with that Raph just gave an agreeing grunt before grabbing his pizza box and moving from the kitchen to the living space.

Yet this exchange is the reason why the three brothers couldn’t help but eye Donnie more concerning his behavior around April and Y/N. Generally, things seem to be the same. Donnie still hung out with April which wasn’t a surprise since even beyond the whole crush situation the two were still good friends.

But it also made sense how Donnie spent a lot of time with Y/N since most of the time when she came over for a visit it was with more things for their projects. The two would start chatting about how to solve some weird problem or what project to tackle next only to slip into the lab for hours on end.

While there wasn’t much to be done to test their hypothesis, they were still happy to tease him with his supposed crush on April and he reacted as usual. A bit more dismissive maybe but he got still ticked off like he always did.

Though then there was the incident.

The family, this included April and Casey, were chilling in front of the TV. They had a big training session today together, hence why Casey was still rubbing his side where Mikey drop kicked him. Also, it was supposed to be a big training session today, but Donnie didn’t join them. No, he was busy in his lab together with Y/N. The two had been in there for about three days now.

When Leo tried to urge his genius brother to get out of the lab and to either sleep or train, depending on how he was doing. There were other times where he was stuck in his lab for days but still fine since he took power naps.

At first nothing happened when Leo knocked on the door “Donnie, we finished training but you really should get out the lab for once and you know maybe sleep and eat?” While it was a question it did come out more as a command. Which it was.

But the door didn’t open.

So, he tried again. Louder this time. And again.

Finally, the door opened and there stood both Donnie and Y/N and man looked they annoyed.

Both geniuses had huge bags beneath their eyes, a similar scowl on their face. Their eyes narrowed and there was a murderous glint in them. Yep, Leo screwed up but still as the team’s leader he had to make sure that Donnie was in top shape which either meant training or forcing him to finally sleep. It was just a tad bit difficult to do that when Y/N was right there who very much knew that Leo didn’t hold the same power over her.

“Okay, yep. You guys need some proper rest.”

Y/N hissed as a response.

Leo looked at her incredulously. Did she really just hiss at him?

“No.” Donnie said dryly and slammed the door back shut.

Leo knew he really should try to work harder on making them get some rest but the two together were incredibly stubborn. They almost seemed to enhance each other stubbornness. Giving up for now he just returned to the others with a shrug.

It was hours later when the door to the lab finally opened. Y/N was the one who sluggishly left the room to make her way towards the kitchen. She didn’t even acknowledge the group who were eyeing her with big eyes. It was the first time they saw her so tired and exhausted.

Mikey was in the kitchen as well. He was currently working on one of his abomination pizzas.

Without taking notice of the orange banded turtle they just began working on the coffee machine. Preparing a full pot of coffee that she and Donnie would probably empty in minutes.

“So, uh, how’s the project going?” Mikey asked, he couldn’t help but be curious. Sure, he didn’t usually understand what Donnie was making, he could remember a lot of things he said but properly understand? Only some things. Anyways he was still curious about the end product.

It took Y/N a full minute to form a sentence “It’s going.”

The others were slightly leaning over, trying to see how Y/N was doing. They were used for Donnie to be doing these kinds of things but not with Y/N. Besides it was the first time Donnie let anyone into his lab for that long. Sure, Y/N was a bit of a special case but it was still new.

“Well, what are you working on?”

“I feel like Donnie would kill me if I told you guys. I think he wants to do that himself.”

Well, that’s something. The project was important enough or interesting enough that Donnie wanted to show it off himself.

This was the moment Mikey gave up, knowing that kind of behavior too well from Donnie. No matter how often he’ll ask the answers will be the same. Besides Y/N was way out of it.

She just stood there. Her eyes practically glued on the coffee, watching it fall into the pot. There was a slight sway to her. No wonder they were going for coffee now, the way Y/N looked Mikey was sure that she could fall over asleep any second now.

Sighing Mikey accepted his fate of being tortured by curiosity for now, so instead he worked on his newest combination for his pizza. Which reminded him. Right next to the coffee pot stood something that he wanted to try out.

“Hey, Y/N can you give me that there?” He was pointing at the ingredient, focus now back on track with more important things.

Y/N looked at Mikey, her tired eyes slowly following Mikey’s arm, hand and finger to see what he was pointing at. Their groggy mind took a second to realize what he meant.

“The…” They looked unsure, confused why he would need it “Honey?”

“Yes, sweety?” that was Donnie’s voice.

Silence.

He must have come out to check on the coffee.

Before this there was a bit of a murmur in the lair as the group watching the TV show were discussing the days passing. But now it was dead quiet.

Y/N’s face heated up as her mind caught up with what just has happened.

Donnie on the other hand just kept blinking, trying to understand why there was a sudden shift in the mood of the room.

Casey’s mouth was wide open. April had an excited grin on her face while Donnie’s brothers had a range of emotions going on. Raph had a bit of a malicious grin on his face while Leo and Mikey looked at each other as if trying to confirm what they just heard.

“What just happened?” Once again that was Donnie.

Mikey turned to Donnie, wiggling his nonexistent eyebrows “Honey, huh?”

Donnie grimaced.

Surprisingly, or maybe not so much, it was Raph who piped up next, trying to stifle a laugh “Sweety? Really? What are you guys? Eighty?”

“Huh? Wha-“ It seems Donnie’s mind finally caught on as he took another looked around the round only for his gaze to fall on Y/N’s blushing face.

“Oh… oops?” Was the only excuse he could give her.

Her hand slapped against her forehead and the people burst out into laughter. Everyone on the sofa jumping up to crowd Donnie and Y/N who was at this point standing next to him.

“So, you guys are dating? Like for real?” Casey asked, scratching his head as if this was something complicated to think about.

Donnie looked down to Y/N unsure what to say. She just sighed “Well, the cat it pretty much out of the bag, sweety. Let’s just… they will be annoying, and I don’t have the energy for that right now.”

Even though she acted annoyed and disappointed, Donnie knew she wasn’t actually mad. She was just tired and if they actually were more rested, he was sure that she would be the one laughing the loudest right now.

Donnie couldn’t help the blush that was now spreading across his face as he laid his arm around Y/N with a proud smile “Yeah. She is my girlfriend!”

Y/N’s blush darkened but she leaned into Donnie’s touch. Slightly turning towards his chest as if trying to hide herself from the others. Her hand carefully snuck towards Donnie’s hand. Both were fidgeting but holding each other’s hands seemed to calm them down.

“I knew it!” April cheered “I knew you guys would be a perfect couple!”

Y/N tensed at that which made Donnie squeeze her hand as a silent question “She might have found out that I had a crush on you…”

Mikey fist pumped the air “See, guys! I told you so! I knew it!”

“Wait, how long has this been going?” Leo asked. He liked to think that he is usually very well informed or got a good feel for it when something is going on with his brothers but for him not to notice that he was literally dating someone? Someone who came over almost daily.

“Almost six months now.” Donnie answered. It was really embarrassing for him to answer all these questions, but he couldn’t help to show off a proud smile. He loved Y/N and he loved saying it.

As the questions continued, he had an idea. Leaning down he gave Y/N a big kiss which in return earned them different reactions but most importantly the group finally shut their mouth for once.

“Now that we hopefully answered enough questions… I’m going to take my girlfriend and the coffee, and we both will continue working on our project. And I swear if any of you interrupt me spending time with my lovely girlfriend, I will destroy you all.”

“Ugh please for the love of everything just go already.” Raph groaned.

Y/N laughed “God, you are such a dork, Donnie. My lovely boyfriend Donnie. Yep, my boyfriend for six months now. My pretty, handsome boy-“

A pillow flew against Y/N’s head.

“Just go! I’m begging you!” Where Raph suddenly had the pillow from, she didn’t know. The others were recoiling as well or rolling their eyes at the antics of the two lovebirds.

Donnie grabbed the coffee pot and escorted his girlfriend back to the lab but not before pressing another kiss on her lips before going out of the view of his family. He was proud to call Y/N his girlfriend and maybe it was a good thing that they now know that they were dating. This way he can dote on her and show off affection whenever he could. He could survive the teasing for that.

And as he looked at Y/N’s smiling face he just knew that something similar went through her head.

“Guyyyyys!!” You called out as you popped your head past the entry way. “Guess what??” You asked all smiles, happy to see all the turtles were lounging in the common area. “What?” Donnie asked and you made a face, “uhmmm pizza??” Mikey guessed and you shook your head. “You’re a floating head now?” Leo asked wondering why you were still only showing just your face. “Ha ha,” you narrowed your eyes at the blue clad turtle. “Schools out for the holidays?” Raph said with a knowing smile and you finally came into the lair jumping up and down, “ding ding ding ding! and the winner is Big Raphie!” you shot him a wink.

Leo and Mikey were just as excited at this news. If you were out for the holidays so was April. Though Donnie didn’t understand how one could possibly want to miss school. He thought it was one of the greatest places on earth besides the library! “Yeah April should be heading this way in a couple hours, you know how she is, job hunting and all,” you explained as you made your way to Raph’s side of the couch. “Sooo? Plans?!” You said with round eyes, ready to live it up to the fullest with your besties, anddd boyfriend! “We definitely need to make a snowman this year,” Mikey said in thought. “Lameee let’s go to the Hidden City! I’m sure there’s plenty to do during the holidays,” Leo claimed.

Donnie wasn’t interested in doing much else than getting his projects done, it was a miracle he was out in the common area to begin with. “Why are you in the living room?” You asked curiously, “I took a break plus family time,” he explained not looking up from his phone. Donnie’s idea of family time was more like basking in his brothers presence for however long he could stand it while being on his phone, which had you shaking your head. Raph was quiet to this particular question of plans, which surprised you. The two of you had been texting back and forth about plenty of plans! You wondered why he didn’t share it with his brothers. And you wouldn’t find out about what he was thinking until later that evening. After an hour or so of talking, the boys got hungry and you happily ordered pizza, texting April if she wanted any. She replied with a big yes, and saying she’d pick it up on her way over!

After eating and more good vibes and conversation everyone started to part ways and do their own thing. Donnie headed to his lab, ready and rejuvenated to probably spend hours if not days awake working on whatever science-y thing he was creating. Mikey, Leo, and April all had a running bet for who would win at DDR so they all headed to the arcade. You peered over at Raph as it ended up being just the two of you. “You sure you don’t wanna join them in DDR? We all know you’re the dance master!” You smiled, you would definitely place your bet on Raph out of all of them.

“Nahh I was thinking me and you could watch a movie, I got Donnie to set up a mini projector in my room,” he said grinning. Annnd there went your brain, poof, all up in sparks and smoke. You and Raph? Alone? In his room? Watching a movie? Don’t get it wrong, you wanted to, oh you did and you thought the plan was so sweet, he must’ve been thinking about this for a while to get Donnie to help out! And you had no idea! The two of you texted about any and everything. That was how he knew exactly what you wanted everyone to guess earlier that day. “O-oh? Okay!” You nodded, smiling sheepishly as you followed Raph out of the kitchen and to his room.

Oh goodness, you had this feeling in your stomach. Butterflies or maybe even bees! Buzzing around and not giving you a break to calm down. You stayed at the doorway, shifting your weight as you watched Raph become occupied with turning on the projector and making sure it was facing the empty space on his wall. He had plenty posters of Lou Jitsu, Jupiter Jim, and Ghost Bear. “Y/n?” He called you out of your daydreaming, looking over all his posters. “Hmm?” You said meeting his eyes. “You comin’?” He said with amusement dancing across his features. “Right, coming inside your room, me and you, aloneee,” you said taking a few steps in.

Raph chuckled, he knew this shy phase would fade soon. He knew exactly what to expect next, first you would get shy, getting used to just his presence without the buffer of his brothers or April. He patted the bed, signaling you to enter further. “Baby you’re just too cute when you get shy,” Raph snickered, teasing you and your hands went up to your face immediately. “Raphhhh,” you whined, not liking it when your shyness was pointed out. You kept walking forward though, peeking through your fingers to see when to stop just before Raph’s bed. He tugged you down, making you squeal as you landed on the bed next to him. “Alright alright, no more teasing, do you wanna pick the movie?” He asked and that immediately got your attention.

He handed you the remote as your brain momentarily stuttered at the feeling of his hand brushing yours, but you babbled about movie genres. Raph liked everything except horror which was fine with you. Scary movies weren’t really your thing either so you settled on an action movie that had a good amount of romance as well. You and Raph moved to the head of the bed, where a pile of pillows awaited, getting comfortable. As you had something else to focus on you didn’t really feel shy anymore. In fact, you really just wanted to hold Raph’s hand, or even hop over into his lap and cuddle while the movie rolled. “Raph?” You whispered, wondering how much he was paying attention to the movie. “Yeah?” He said giving you a side glance before looking back at the movie, you estimated he was halfway paying attention to the movie. “Can I hold your hand?” You asked sweetly, already reaching out for it. He immediately opened up his palm and you placed your hand inside, his hand closing gently, engulfing yours. You rested your cheek on his arm, snuggling up close so you were pressed against him. He was so warm and you sighed with contentment.

Yes, your next phase was clingy affection. If Raph even dared to move his hand because he thought it was getting a little too sweaty, you’d just ask for his other hand. Or even worse, beg for his hand back until he gave in. But you must’ve been pretty excited all day, after getting comfortable and all snuggled up you fell asleep as the movie started to get good. Raph only noticed when he glanced down, trying to gauge your reaction for a certain scene that had just played when he saw your eyes closed, breathing deepened, your mouth slightly open. His other hand fumbled for his phone wanting to take a picture, he just couldn’t you were so adorable, falling asleep holding his hand!

Raph gushed as he quietly took the picture, double checking to make sure the flash was off before he clicked. “Sweet dreams princess,” Raph murmured kissing the top of your head before turning back to the movie. You’d ask him all about it when you woke up. “Mmmgh Raphie” you muttered half asleep as you turned your head and kicked a leg out to wrap over one of Raph’s. He just knew his arm was going to fall asleep but for you, he’d stay still. He loved how comfortable you were with him, how you trusted him to care for you and protect you while you slept. Or maybe that was just the way his mind worked, because he kept envisioning foot soldiers storming into his room. He’d ninja the hell out of them, silently and swiftly, making sure you wouldn’t even wake up! And he’d be back by your side, holding you close and you’d snuggle your face into his plastron.

Yeah, Raph was totally daydreaming about being a badass and protecting you. Maybe it was because of the action/romance movie. Though honestly he had those kinds of thoughts all the time when it came to you. He couldn’t help it. He used to envision himself saving his brothers, but ever since he met you, you became the star to all his daydreams. Not that you put yourself in dangerous situations or anything. Raph just loved the idea of being your protector. Being someone you could count on, turn to, depend on, he wanted to be it all. So as he blinked out of his own reveries, realizing the credits were now rolling for the movie, he looked around for the remote. Sighing as he noticed it was on the other side of the bed.

The deep breath caused you to slowly wake, and you stretched, groaning to yourself as you asked if the movie was over. “Yeah,” Raph hummed as he took that opportunity to reach across you and grab the remote. Your eyes fluttered open as you felt his arm brush over your stomach. He paused momentarily, his face hovering over yours as blushes overcame the both of you. “Ah, the remote-“ Raph tried to explain, wanting to show you his innocent intentions to pick another movie. But you had other ideas as your eyelashes batted and then closed as you leaned forward silencing his sputtering.

Raph held his breath, as your lips met his. It only took you initiating for him to become confident enough to drop the remote control and kiss you back. His hands going up yours arms, making you shiver. It was slow, sweet kisses, that would break away easily and come back together in a smooth rhythm. His hands were soon cradling your face, angling for more control as he tilted your face ever so slightly upwards. He made a deep rumbling noise in the back of his throat at your compliance. He swiped his tongue across your lower lip, wanting not only your lips but your entire mouth. Tongue and all. At his request you parted and he eagerly met your tongue with his own. It was a hot and heavy makeout sesssion from there that left the two of you breathless.

He pulled back, not realizing how much he had leaned forward, his whole upper body practically covering you. He cleared his throat, bringing a hand up to his bandana, “so?” he rumbled, voice still thick from the earlier activities. “movie?” he continued on sheepishly, glancing at the forgotten remote by your hip. You bit down on your already swollen lower lip, how could you possibly watch a movie after that?! You’d need a cold shower or at least a lap around the lair! Raph’s eyes followed the way your teeth nibbled on your lower lip and he felt envious. Even though he had been the one to make it swollen in the first place. But you weren’t stopping and it was driving him crazy! “Ahh fuck it,” he said forgetting about movies as he swooped down to capture your lips again. Chuckling at your surprised squeals, loving how they quickly quieted down in favor of breathless gasping.

“Raph how am I supposed to walk out of here with these duck lips?!” You said touching your tender, puffy lips. Sometimes he would bite a little too hard. “Shall I carry you milady?” He waggled his brow bones at you from his laid out position on his bed. The two of you had finally watched a second movie, Raph’s choice, a Jupiter Jim film not so surprising. “Wouldn’t that just be even more obvious??” You sighed trying to come up with some clever plan to not be embarrassed by Raph’s brothers. You’d never live it down if Leo saw the state of your lips. “Hmmm sorry sweets I’m all out of plans,” he admitted.

You ended up deciding being carried was better than nothing. So to Raph’s joy, he carried you close to his plastron, looking down to take quick peeks at how cute you were with your face pressed close to his chest. You were doing that so you couldn’t be seen but still! To your surprise, no one was in the living room so the coast was clear for you to climb up the ladder to the surface. “Another movie night tomorrow?” Raph asked smugly and you smacked his plastron as he placed you on your feet. “No, no, we aren’t ‘watching movies’ every night Raph! We are definitely making a snowman and going to the Hidden City!” You chided, knowing he would certainly try to stay in cuddled with you the entire holiday.

“Fine fine, you got me,” Raph laughed, conceding to do his brothers plans… though he would definitely get you to ‘watch movies’ with him again sometime veryyyy soon. Actually! You had started climbing up the ladders, getting to peg three before Raph spoke up, “what?? No goodbye kiss?” He said in devastation. You turned, smiling knowing he had gotten plentyyyy of kisses earlier but still, you let him close the distance. He kissed you gingerly, “get home safe for me,” Raph said softly, noting how he hadn’t needed to bend down to meet your lips. “Don’t worry I will!” You said beaming at him before turning to climb the rest of the ladder, “bye Raphie!!” You called from the top as you closed the manhole. “Text me when you get home!”
