I don't know how exactly, but in this, Lloyd ended up dying some time before Crystallized, but after MOTO (thinking around Prime Empire??). his death led to him falling into the Departed Realm

now. As we know close to nothing about the Departed realm in canon, let me tell you about some of my many hcs for it first.

Unlike the Cursed Realm, the dp has a bluish/purple color palette, its residents sharing that trait. its appearance.. how to say? it's as if random pieces of time were blipped into it. There was a solid 'society' on the floor, so gravity existed in Some form, but there were people just milling about on the floating relics that drifted above, too.

On one side of a street, you could see a building from 3000 years ago. and, right across from it, a pizza place that was destroyed during the revival of Lord Garmadon. The Departed realm is a place made for all who end up there to rest and reflect and think. a place to p much just vibe into eternity in.

…Or, well, it was Supposed to be.

It was before it was forced to take in (most) of the occupants of the Cursed Realm, too. (not all, though. some were forced to remain back with the Tiny preeminent)

And, unfortunately, that's the version of the departed realm Lloyd fell into. one quite literally in the middle of a war.

He was recognized almost immediately (whenever a new person enters the dp [which doesn't happen much anymore. very few are worthy], a wave of energy/something akin to a wave of energy is passed over the whole dimension) i mean. god's grandson just kicked the bucket, do you KNOW how much power that gives off?? enough to get EVERYONE running towards him, thats for sure.

And, unluckily for Lloyd, he landed smack-dab in the middle of what I would call 'Cursed Realm territory'.

Now.. lloyd couldn't really fight back against the swarm of vengeful, angry ghosts that suddenly hounded him. (he Just died. be nice to him.) beaten, bloody, and bruised, he was dragged to the 'Heart' (aka the middle) of the dp.

This was the only place that hadn't been claimed by one of the sides. Both the cr and dr inhabitants knew the importance of it, so they fought an uphill battle that only resulted in casualties on both sides.

Now, you might be asking, 'how are the ghosts fighting a war if they're already dead??' and to that I answer; remember how I said the dr has many different pieces of time within it? old buildings like, idk, hospitals, libraries, prisons…

…Weaponries that are overflowing with Deepstone tools. buildings that are overflowing with water.

And it just so happens Lloyd was kidnapped by a gaggle of ghosts who had too many Deepstone tools to count. Wow, it's almost like he's experiencing sm bad luck for a plot device! crazy!

Anyways, back to Lloyd in the Heart, the cr ghosts thought process was smthn like 'yoo this guy fucked us up and is on the Departed realms side, right? and he's super strong, right?? so hb we kill him in broad daylight as a show of power, making the dr inhabitants finally retreat out of fear?' '..yeah sure why not?'

So. they do that. (not elaborating bc I have a fic idea for this that I don't wanna spoil) BUT, just before a Deepstone sword is brought down upon Lloyd's neck, someone swoops in from above; kicking his captor directly in the face. Because Lloyd was barely conscious (he almost just died AGAIN, please PLEASE be nice to him) he couldn't see who rescued him. oh, it's also bc they were covered by a huge cloak, btw.

Then, two other figures appeared, the second freeing Lloyd so the third could carry him away. The first figure opted to stay behind, beating the shit out of his captors.

Before he blacked out, Lloyd took note of how strangely comfortable he felt in his rescuer's hold.

It almost felt familial.

Uhhh time skip. Lloyd and the three musketeers were in a safe space. Lloyd wakes up and Gasp! the ones who saved him are morro (cloak #1) rumi (#2) and garma (#3). what a twist

My head do be beginning to go empty, but in summary, Lloyd learns the basics of what's going on around here and then sticks to his dad like a LEECH. he is NOT letting that mf leave his sight. absolutely not.

He doesn't know how to feel abt morro and rumi. His dad says they're trying to make up for what they've done, and that even if Lloyd can (understandably) not forgive them, he should at least Try to work with him. they're both… fragile. in many more ways than one.

Lloyd, being Lloyd, agrees to do so. albeit reluctantly.

again. yada yada, more time passes, lloyd slowly gets the hang of being Dead and crawls out of the depressed hole he's dug himself in. He runs across some once lost friends while there (Mystake, Akita [<yes, she's dead. it's been a long time since lloyd left in the Never realm. time passes very quickly there, y'know], and even a few previous ems) and slowly forms a small army fighting on the side of the Departed Realm.

He can still fight. All he has to do is get to the center- the Heart. he'd figure it out from there.

…or, so he told himself.

but in actuality, he wasn't ready for the true test of the Departed Realm. the test of the Mourners. (ayo congratulations to my d.w. peeps for already knowing what those are ahaa.) BUT, for those who don't, here's a quick explanation;

'Mourners. The people in the Departed Realm who are nothing more than empty shells of their past selves. They're so lost in the delusions and false hope that the setting provides that they suddenly become akin to a wandering husk, trapped behind spoon-fed lies of a better life.

Those who remain sentient just ignore them, milling about the rest of eternity with a solemn sense of peace. Now, that might seem cruel, but it's just not possible to awaken a Mourner. No matter what you do, when they're gone, they're gone.

You could scream in their face, hurl them around, maybe even pour water on them (There's no water down here to be able to try that one.) and they still wouldn't wake up.'

but yeah that's basically what Mourners are. and Lloyd, who really misses his other family, begins to fall into the Departed Realms trap.

this is where the mind, body, soul aspect comes in w garma, rumi, and morro

there's a whole bunch to it, but again, not getting into too much detail bc i already have plans (and i'm also getting tired lmaoo)

garma 'saves' his mind. Whenever he sees Lloyd drifting off into his memories, he snaps him back to reality. Garmadon grounds him- he keeps Lloyd from falling apart all while somehow managing to keep him in the moment

rumi 'saves' his body. Lloyd forgets that he still needs to take care of himself in this shell of a beating heart. and rumi, who's (/platonic) love language is Literally physical touch, always reminds him. she reminds him in many ways- ranging from a quick touch to the shoulder, all the way to a hug that they (both) need.

and Morro 'saves' his spirit. Lloyd begins drifting away mid-spar? Morro will knock him upside the head, reminding him of what he's fighting for. Lloyd says that he's reaching his breaking point? Morro tells him that he's not alone here. not anymore.

and, finally, when all of this is said and done. when the battle of the Heart is over; Lloyd's team stands victorious. Yes, they did it! they won! they Won!

…didn't they..?

There's a soul crushing moment, then. where Lloyd realizes that it's Over.

It's Over. They Won. Lloyd can Finally go home- to his family

and, to do so, he'd have to say goodbye to the new members of it he just made. how cruel.

But, as Lloyd was getting ready to say his goodbyes, the Heart (aka portal out of the dp) suddenly opened. opened Wide.

There was a moment of flurried panic where almost everyone there bolted towards it, people trampling on another in their desperation to just Get Out.

But, funnily enough, none of them could get through. they all hit the portal (which has a clear view of Ninjago City on the other side of it, btw) like flies on a window.

and that's because the portal would only allow four people through right now.

The Mind.

The Body.

The Spirit

and The Heart.

(ahaha see what i did there. by making Lloyd the heart, too? omg im so poetic <3<3)

they all proved themselves through one another. apart, they are nothing more than old legends. tales of heroes and villains that one day might have been.

but, when together, they are so much more.

and so, with that realization and a few heart-felt 'see you laters' to the rest of the Departed Realm team, our main four re-enter the realm of Ninjago.

OKAY THATS IT. for now lol. still have no idea what the ghost gang is coming back to (imagining… Lloyd coming back to life, excited to see his family…. just to find out they've gone their separate ways bc Nya turned into the fucking Sea.

Want a P:LA fanfic idea to play with maybe? *Puts up one for grabs*

I've loved Pokemon pretty much its entire history (Blue to Violet whoo!) and despite the issues I might have with the more recent games death glares BDSP in particular and their 'one game every year' crunch hell schedule, Legends Arceus got me all sorts of fired up with tons of fanfic ideas I couldn't wait to write down!

...Sadly my 'writing a coherent narrative' speed is something under 3000 words per fic a year so I figured I might as well share some of these ideas in the hopes that even if it takes me seven years to finish a chapter in my own time, someone else might be able to care for these little plot bunnies in the meantime.

So Fic Idea #1: Hisui gets Yeeted into the future.

Premise is simple: Canon divergence results in Akari/Rei being unable to stop Primal Dialga and Palkia from breaking reality and Arceus ends up activating Their last resort plan to protect reality which in the process of stopping a space time collapse ends up moving the entire region of Hisui to Unova's oceans in the modern age.

The Devilish Details I chose to focus on:

Most of my focus for this premise was on five key ideas.

1) Why did Volo think sending Palkia and Dialga into a frenzy would get him the power of the god llama? 2) If Arceus IS benevolent why does it not intervene personally? 3) What would a 'bad end' resulting from Dialga and Palkia's fighting look like? You know, aside from everyone being dead? 4) How do I avoid the near omnipresent 'Ingo and/or player character is torn between two worlds' angst in a story without trivializing their connections with either? 5) (Most important clearly) How do I get Adaman and Irida into those cute modern outfits I keep seeing them wear in fanart while still having them being them?!

For my own version of the fic all these are pretty simple. 1) Volo and Giratina think if they can get Arceus to physically manifest then Giratina can steal enough of Arceus's power that they can recreate reality together (Volo is the one who mainly wants that btw. Giratina just wants freedom and to help their new friend achieve his dreams). 2) Volo and Giratina are horribly wrong about what will happen if they try this and Arceus, compassionate eldritch entity that It is, would rather those two do not get 'Necrozma'd' and doom an entire reality's worth of life in the process, so It choses proxies in the form of those already pulled out of their natural space and time most by Giratina's actions to act in its stead. (Note: There are actually many realities where the PLA plotline is being carried out 'successfully' with this same Arceus watching over them but well, this story is specifically follows the world where shit went wrong and Arceus has to intervene so welp. Sorry this specific Volo and Giratina). 3) Most variable but in my imagination: Probably starts with smaller space time rips, then everything getting progressively darker and heavier, Pokemon getting more and more panicked, more panicking/aggressive Pokemon and people getting yoinked into the collapsing Hisui space/time (fallers can fall from anywhere and land on places on the way here but this would be where the 'down' destination is), absolute chaos as people and pokemon fight for their lives even as bits of environment are just glitching/breaking down into bits, then the GRAVITY hits and every creature is slammed to the ground as around them trees and buildings start straining and snapping from the weight, all light just dies maybe still an eerie red 'outline' to barely see anything?, people and pokemon blacking out probably fully convinced they're all going to be crushed to death, and then-! 4 and 5) Pretty much all the standard PLA fanfic conflicts have been thrown out the window and replaced with new ones: Hisui kinda just went through the apocalypse, some parts of Unova may have gotten hit by a title wave caused from the sudden dumping of an entire landmass right next to itself, and Ingo and Akari/Rei are gonna have give crash courses to everyone real quick and work their butts off being diplomats least Hisui gets overrun by criminal groups, poachers and companies who might want to take advantage of an entire region full of untapped natural resources, unknown pokemon, etc but hey! They can be with everyone they care about at once without having to get into shenanigans and everyone gets the delightful experience of seeing famous historical figures looking hot in modern cloths, learning the joys and horrors of modern media and going through the sheer WTF of seeing their own names and legacies up in a museum. Including the stuff they didn't get to 'live' due to, you know, being in an alternate world's future as a result of failing to avert the apocalypse without god's help and now in a position to try and avert the bad stuff like their noble Pokemon going extinct or so and so dying of something that in the modern era is easy to cure, etc. So that's the main gist. As for how I'm thinking of writing this premise (feel free to use these notes as well if you want btw): The End of the Beginning:

The canon divergence begins with Kamado overhearing Akari having a panic attack (around the Cobalt Coastlands point of the game) over potentially getting too hurt to 'work hard enough to avoid being banished' and him choosing to clarify a few days later that if she say, lost her legs to an alpha pokemon, Jubilife would still greatly value her skill with Pokemon much like they value Arezu for her haircutting skill, and that it is those who would lie or trick their way into the village without the will to aid others that get banished, not those who've shown their loyalty. (Aka Kamado's still paranoid and willing to resort to cruelty as in canon but not the 'for the evils' version I am getting slightly sick of some fics need him to be that way for their premise to work or to allude to real world colonisation stuffs etc and I get that but plz. More 'there's blood on your lies' and 'The Importances of History (class)' Kamado I beg of thee.) - Due to this 'kindness' she tries to interact with him more and ends up showing him the Arc Phone, talking about it's mission for her, how Ingo might've been from the same time period, etc, which leads to Kamado's paranoia shifting away from her and Ingo, and towards the Arc Phone and whatever it's attached to that dropped them in Hisui. -- As a result when the sky goes red Kamado doesn't try to pull the demonstration/questioning stuff he does pre-exiling in canon; instead he secretly has Akari and Ingo nabbed and locked up by Beni (he views them as patsies for 'the enemy' and decides that he can't let them roam free until this mess is resolved as they might unintentionally make things worse), claims to Adaman and Irida he'd already sent Akari off to investigate when they hold a meeting over what to do, and then as per canon charges up Mt Coronet with the Security Corps... Taking the Arc Phone with him.

Adaman and Irida of course are sus over not seeing Akari, and grow more so as they fail to find any of the lake guardians despite Volo and Cogita's help, and when they realize Ingo is also missing, but well. It's the end of the world and they don't have a clue what to actually do so they return to their settlements after promising to look out for each other's Wardens and that they'll come to each other's aid if the other calls them via Celestica Flute. (Insert 'Celestica Flutes can totally do that' headcanon reasoning so I can have weird small touching moment of 'They're alive!' during the 'climbing out of the rubble' parts)

Cylene is informed of Akari and Ingo being locked up by Kamado shortly before he heads off for Mt Coronet, and decides once he leaves to let them out of their cell, explaining both the Commander's reasoning (which Kamado might've already told them? IDK) and how without the Security Corps about Jubilife Village is extremely vulnerable should an attack come and she would request that Ingo and Akari please stay to help protect everyone. Since Akari and Ingo know bugger all about the 'mysterious pokemon sighted up on the mountain' or how to resolve the situation due to having been locked up for days and with Cogita currently too occupied trying to buy a nice scarf for herself and Enamorus to die in to inform them otherwise, they remain in Jubilife to protect it.

The various Wardens set about getting their nobles ready to protect the settlements they're closest to, ignoring the usual clan lines, with Mai, Arezu, Lian and Calaba in the Diamond Settlement (Melli gets a minor Big Damn Heroes moment arriving with Lord Electrode, escorting the Coronet Highland's Galaxy and Ginko Guild members in, right before everything starts going to hell), Gaeric and Sabi at the Pearl Settlement, and Palina and Iscan staying in the coastlands to try to help the Ginko Guild and Galaxy Team members there get to higher, safer ground.

End of the world stuff begins: Kamado's attack the dragons and promptly get stomped HARD (cue me rolling death saves for all the Security Corps members I have the names for). Enraged wild pokemon start getting beamed in from everywhere and each settlement finds themselves fighting for their lives: Pearl Settlement is doing reasonably ok due to being surrounded by ice and Lord Avalugg while Lord Bravary and Sabi's mons blast the few mons that get in away/unconscious, but both the Diamond Settlement and Jubilife Village are getting savaged, though not as much as they would've been if there hadn't been so many Wardens and nobles in the Diamond Settlement, and if Jubilife didn't have all of Akari and Ingo's many many pokemon (as well as Cogita's Enamorus and Vessa) there to fight for them. THEN the reality breaking stuff kicks in and the fighting gets exchanged for sheer environmental terror as GRAVITY kicks in: Beni is crushed in that cave Kamado ordered him to wait in (not sure about his mons since all other than his Sneasler can learn teleport and/or are ghosts, though I'd assume the Sneasler remains trapped in his pokeball), landslides are triggered up and down Mt Coronet, the ice caverns in the Bone Chill wastes collapse, buildings everywhere start creaking and breaking, any mon (or person) above water that can't breath underwater ends up drowning, pretty much everyone pokemon or human is slammed to the ground to struggle helplessly as the world grows more and more dark all as 'glitch like' implosions twist and tear apart sections of space time around them, and then as the gravity is getting to the point everyone is blacking out due to the sheer difficulty of breathing-

A light shines from the top of Mt Coronet; up on the mountain top itself most are either KOed, dead, dying or temp blinded by the sheer intensity of the light/dark up there but someone (leaning Kamado but Zisu getting some plot relevance appeals to me) sees someone somehow unaffected by the crushing gravity lunging towards the light, before passing out.

Arrival in the Modern day

First chapter of this would probably be done in a sort of media reel format showing implied captions and quotes from all sorts of media in the modern Pokemon world reacting to a new region sized landmass appearing out of nowhere: Lists of dead and missing people and pokemon with discussion on how many are due to the tsunami caused by the suddenly displaced tons of sea water, being washed out to sea (which being the pokemon world actually might be more survivable), or being telefraged into the new landmass itself. TV talk shows discussing where tf this landmass came from, how it arrived etc. Newspaper snippets, ongoing disaster reports, and all that jazz.

Will give the people of Hisui some breathing/recovery time via introducing my 'Ghost Storm' headcanon* as a thing in setting to keep anyone no from Hisui out of the place for roughly a week or so; can probably introduce the concept via a 'talk show' with guest stars Sabrina, Caitlin and Morty both to describe it in more 'metaphysical' detail and to allude to this particular one's unusual and deadly nature via Morty's ghost type psychic powers failing to get a read on the thing. *Said headcanon is basically: If enough death and powerful emotions occur in a short enough frame of time in a specific location, the local ghost population can explode and go completely feral, causing all sorts of horrifying effects depending on what sort of ghosts were formed (the storms depend on the strong emotions being felt and the local ghost population so currently Hisui is mostly being surrounded by a cyclone's worth of furious and in full 'defensively murderous' H!Zoroark...). Ghost swarms naturally fade over time anyway but in the modern age using emotion eating mons like Shuppet and tossing in lots of 'empty' Key Stones can usually be used to speed this process up though the Shuppet method has definitely been deemed NOT safe to attempt this time the Hisuian Ghost Storm has its own death toll at this point and is becoming somewhat infamous

After a bit of 'world reaction and reasoning' is established, will probably cut to Elesa and Emmet as ground view characters, talking about how nuts this is, how gyms everywhere are closed since there's tons of pressure for those in the League to be ready to fight if whatever is on the 'Mystery Island' turns out to be hostile, (though the ton of satelite pictures of the place at this point show that everything past the ghost storm looks like it's barely standing; holy shit that mountain sized Avalugg though). Talk ends, we jump to Emmet heading back home, doing 'slice of life as the world panics around you' stuff and then he texts his brother's Xtransver (grieving/coping habit) and stops wide eyed and frozen when he sees 'Message Sent' instead of the usual 'error, please try again' pop up on his screen.

Cut back to Hisui itself:

Those at the Pearl Settlement are better off than everywhere else but the Icelands are a mess: Sabi scouting with Lord Brivary spots tons of dead mons in the river, the cliff reaching up to Snowpoint temple has collapsed (the temple itself is somehow fine though?), and the ice fields -including newest the Galaxy Outpost- are completely buried by the avalanches Lord Avalugg defended them from. After making sure everyone is either well or attended to, Irida orders those of her clan not already busy to help her start digging pokemon out of the snow. There's some pushback at first but Irida refuses to leave so many pokemon to suffocate without at least trying to help and points out that any dead pokemon they dig up will provide invaluable materials and food to replace everthing that got destroyed during 'Sinnoh's Wrath'.

The Diamond Settlement is much rougher: Pretty much everyone is at least partially injured if not more so, and while the many, MANY 'dropped out of nowhere' attacking mon are currently still KOed while most of the humans are waking up, Adaman recognises that it won't be long before the fighting springs back unless he ends things now. However the thought of killing so many helpless Pokemon sickens him and doubtless there'd still be tons of frightened hostile mon elsewhere in the surrounding marshes, so pushing his discomfort over the concept behind, he asks the Galaxy and Ginko Guild types in the settlement for all the pokeballs they have before ordering his clan to start catching as many of the KOed foreign pokemon they can before they wake up. All the Wardens are taken aback but most reluctantly concede that such a drastic step might be needed; Melli being Melli doesn't and HMPHs his way back up to Mt Coronet to see how the pokemon up the mountain possibly those Galaxy idiots too are doing with Lord Electrode stablizing the terrain behind them (H!Electrode are based of japanese seedbombs so just kinda imagine seeds falling out as Lord Electrode rolls).

Jubilife is a mess. Ingo wakes to find Akari outright missing (which is odd because she was right next to him when the gravity hit), her mon somewhat directionless, and tons of Jubilife people who have no idea what to do. Deep worries and concerns aside, Ingo ends up doing mostly the same as Adaman minus the cultural angst though Jubilife as a whole doesn't really know him too well so there's a lot more push back until Cylene manages to pull herself out of the rubble of a house, tell everyone arguing against Ingo and trying to hurt the KOed pokemon that they're being idiots, and to follow the Warden's instructions before she ends up collapsing again. (Cogita and Enamorus somehow protected some of the shops from damage, and Vessa in Spiritomb form protected some of the Village children, who in turn are refusing to let her get caught and claiming her as friend much to her puzzlement)

Bit of lightheartedness I wasn't sure where to list here but: As the Settlements are repairing, Adaman decides he has to know now, grabs Mai's Celestica Flute and (very badly) plays the 'Clan Leader Meeting' call it's the only one he can play at all to see if anyone outside of the Diamond settlement made it. Cue Irida all the way over in the Pearl Settlement pausing in her digging to sigh in both exasperation and relief and (very beautifully) replying 'in a week'. Cue Adaman joyfully playing the same terrible note back, Irida replying again and then all of the Wardens -including Ingo- playing their own little 'we'll be there's to both clan leaders' weepy eyed joy/relief that everyone made it. (Akari's lack of joining in is noted, and Irida is concerned at Ingo's playing coming from Jubilife of all places but they're alive!)

Kamado wakes up on Mt Coronet to find his forces completely shattered; lots of dead or heavily injured with those awake weeping or quietly tending to each other or their pokemon... Numbly, he hears then staggers down the the temple to see Beni's pokemon 'arguing' over digging out the collapsed tunnel he told Beni to stay guarding (the Gardevoir keeps lunging for the dirt despite being too weak to move it psychically, the Galade is trying to haul her away from it and the Mismagus is wailing so yeah Kamado knows Beni's already dead and is getting a massive show into the 'humanity' of pokemon). He then just as numbly walks back into the temple, towards where the two 'Almighty Sinnoh' were to see that both have been turned to stone and that Akari, arms and legs burned gold (actual gold but also actual burns too), is by the foot of both 'statues' weeping and holding an egg that keeps shifting in colors between blue and pink/purple. ...And at this point I need to figure out how to give Kamado enough backstory parallels that when he pulls a sword and walks over to IDK murder Akari/the 'dual Sinnohs' egg and she pulls a 'defending it with her life' pose, he realizes he's become the 'village destroying Pokemon' of his nightmares and just kinda breaks, tossing his sword away 'Veilstone Myth' style and wailing as the chapter closes.

Got a few more ideas (the Clan leaders actions -especially Irida's- being why the Zoroark ghost swarm didn't kill those of Hisui as well as 'outsiders', first contact between Unova and Hisui, the Submas and 'Akari/her modern family' reunions, wtf happened to H!Volo and Giratina, what's going on with the immortal and chill Volo, and a bunch of other more miscellaneous things Wally!!!) but I'm apparently hitting the character limit so I think that's enough for now. Hope this blah was useful for you and good luck fellow PLA fanfic writers on all your endeavors <3

(WIP) Didn't Have the Heart - Chapter 5

I wanted to post something fic related, now that I'm writing again, so here goes a wip/preview for the intro of my next chapter of DHtH (Btw I still need to check grammar stuff. I mean, there's even a rew notes in Spanish lol But I think is getting close to a final product)

btw, I wanted to add a [keep reading] to cut a little the post where I wanted but Tumblr doesn't want me to because I'm using the phone app so... sorry (I'll fix it when I'm back home)

Well, here we go:

CH. 5 (intro) - Echoes from the Past

“Shepard.”

She hears her name like an echo. A whisper that retumbs through every shadow and fades on the horizon along with the rest of the scenery.

“Live… Be someone…”

Dark trees grow in thousands from her surroundings to infinity, planted through a limbo of trembling shadows and thick fog that makes it impossible to discern if there’s truly an end to the whole scenery.

“...be more.”

The air is so dense that she finds it almost impossible to breathe and think at the same time, feeling like an unknown gravity, way stronger and harsher than the one she’s used to, keeps trying to bring her down to the ground.

“Maybe in another life…”

After a few seconds of disorientation, she starts walking, moment in which the voice becomes louder, clearer and is promptly joined by many more.

“Kalahira…”

“Go back and get Alenko.”

“Someone else might have gotten it wrong.”

She crouches under the overwhelming noise, hugging her legs as she sets (fija) her eyes to the ground in a futile attempt of concentrating on something else than the many voices that haunt her past.

“First time, eh?”

“…”

She freezes in place as all the other voices are banished away by the appearance of the last one, which sounds so sharp and real that she is almost expecting to find its owner in front of her if her eyes ever dear (atreverse) to leave the ground.

Nevertheless, she keeps her sight still, along with the rest of her body, too afraid of both hearing and not hearing that specific voice ever again if she decides to move in the slightest.

“I trust your gut Dee, choose and I’ll follow.”

She shakes her head a couple of times, too tortured by the memories that are now gathering in her mind but, against her efforts, her attempt to make it all dissapear only makes things worse and, in a matter of seconds, echoes from all their past conversations with her long lost friend, start to fill the air that surrounds her.

“I’m just here because of you.” A tear starts falling slowly, unaffected by the strange force that’s keeping her down

“You already have a plan, don’t you?” She remains still, avoiding any kind of movement to see if that makes it all fade away.

It doesn’t.

“Oh, come on Dee! You don’t fool anyone... You love me and you know it!” She can hear the laugh that came along with that sentence almost a decade ago floating around her, and can almost feel the warm embrace that followed (sucedió - pasó después de) the laughter.

“Wait… That’s why? No… That’s the true meaning of that ring?” Her hand closes instinctively, trying to hold on onto the piece of jewelry that is no longer there. Hasn’t been for years now.

A second tear falls now.

And a third.

And fourth.

“How about a song?”

Shepard covers her ears with her hands while the tears keep travelling slowly across her face, in a desperate attempt of silencing the voice, with every sentence hurting her more than the one before.

Nevertheless, despite all her efforts, one last memory makes it all the way through her to give her the final strike (rematarla).

“Dee, listen… Please… Do not let me become an anchor.”

Her crying stops dead the moment she hears that, feeling her heart falling apart along with whatever was left of tears and, before she has time to think about it, her body decides to move on its own, quickly redirecting her eyes against her will to search for the source of all those words.

Unfortunately, all she finds after raising her head is the familiar wall of her room, that seems now narrower than ever after her haunting visit to the vast neverending forest.

“What…?”

It takes her a few seconds to be fully awake and come to terms with where she is.

“A dream.” She says after a big sigh, observing all the details of her cabin as her mind returns to the real world. “Another dream…”

My first wish is to be able to NOT MAKE TYPOS WHILE WRITING A FIC because I'm soooooo tired of looking back and realizing embarrassing mistakes my sleep deprived mind made.

My second would be to be able to remember the paragraphs my thoughts came up with, or maybe to write with my mind? Be able to think the words onto the document.

My last wish? Would probably be really pathetic like "more genuine comments from real people on my fics" since that motivates me the most

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

Well, little Jenny was a dumb bookworm. And Jenny had unsupervised access to the internet. When she learned how to write, she started writing. If someone else could write a story, why couldn't she?

Then Jenny was...7 or 8, I wanna say? And she found this site. Bookcity. Its like wattpad, or ao3. A site made for fanfiction and original works, with talking forums, pages for asking questions, newsletters, dms, all that.

Jenny started publishing there. Jenny started with her biggest inspiration, she wrote about FNAF. Like her favorite author on the same site.

Jenny gained traction. Jenny made friends, Jenny got popular. Jenny loved asking and answering questions, she loved role-playing there, writing stories with more people.

The site got shut down. Somewhere in 2018.

Jenny never stopped writing, she had her friends from the site, Jenny shared her writings there.

She switched from fnaf and Gravity Falls (along with dozen of ocs) to Camp Camp.

Jenny then discovered musical theatre. And now she's writing dear evan hansen and be more chill.

Jenny had failed a lot, in writing. Jenny experienced a lot. Jenny regrets a lot. But Jenny doesn't regret writing. Jenny doesn't regret meeting people, even if they made her wanna die.

Jenny's planning to release a novel.

But right now she stays close to her roots and focuses on fanfiction.

Her current inspiration?

You.

Jenny's story is far from over, but I like to think it started with her writing.

I am proud to announce that I finished Part 1 of my fic and I'm eager to get back to writing the next few parts of AU's and produce as many as I can. I used to have a co-writer, but they don't have much time or can be unresponsive at times.

I really want to improve my writing skills and avoid making my stories/the way I portray characters feel one-dimensional and not emotionally impactful for anyone reading them, then getting a thread of angry comments/harassment for writing something outlandish and "un-creative" 😅

By the way, the fandoms I write for can be found on my user page. Most of them are Hellaverse (Helluva and Hazbin), Owl House, Amphibia, Gravity Falls, SVTFOE (Star vs. the Forces of Evil), Amphibia, ALTLA (Avatar and the Last Airbender and Korra), Ducktales, and some lesser-known ones such as Disenchantment (2018) or Adventure Time and any of its spin-offs, Infinity Train, and so on. It will vary at times. If you can be a co-writer and are willing to put in time and effort to write with me.

I’m looking for someone who (please read, these are high expectations so if you don't want to meet those, then don't read):

Knows Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss or any other fandoms well enough so you understand the characters and their personalities/lore and little details and stuff and would want to make suggestions; also knows the character reaaaaally well to...

Is a chill person, and nice (Idk why I put this here, but this is a requirement)

Has good ideas and suggestions

Can write well (with good grammar/punctuation/dialog format, good formatting NO spacing, Textual Styles for Emphasis, advanced vocabulary/techniques. I know I'm asking a lot, but I believe in creating quality content)

Is not a hardcore shipper and chooses to annoy me with my ideas and hates what I do with the characters, and their stories (cough, cough Stoliz cough, cough)

For Leon and Luis (Resident Evil)! Who else is it going to be, I haven't had much else inspiration beside those two lately lol

Luis never got his drivers license. Or rather, not techniquely. Growing up where he did, in rural don't-believe-in-modern-technology Valdelobos, who was going to teach him? Once he got to college, he could either walk or take the bus. Sure, he had friends teach him how to drive, and Sure, him and some other children were taught how to drive farm trucks at maybe too young an age (because prior to the cult taking over, they had to get supplies sometimes) but Luis never learned legally.

When he was on the run, he was very careful to never break any road laws.

In AU's where Luis lives, he moves to the states and when they set up an ID for him, they ask if Luis knows how to drive. He says yes. It's not his fault no one asked any details. So he drives around even though he never actually took a drivers class or passed any test.

And he would never, ever, ever tell Leon. Leon wanted to be a cop. I don't think there are a lot of things Leon would loose his cool over, but this is one of them. Driver's classes are literally there to protect other people from crashing in a metally, horrible death. And Leon, who's primary character trait is literally wanting to protect people, would loose his mind. It doesn't matter Luis is the just the most careful driver that's ever been. Its the principle.

Along the same lines as Leon wanting to be a cop, people head canoning Leon as a stoner makes me laugh. I think it's because they look at older versions of him and assume personality wise he smokes (which is still fun, btw).

But look at this baby. Resident evil 2 Leon has never broken a law in his life. This guy still thinks weed is a hard drug. He would leave a party if people were drinking underage. I don't care if he was only a cop for one day before that illusion got shattered, he doesn't touch a joint until he's at least 25. (You can convince me RE4 Leon smokes though)

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Back when I was actively writing my gravity falls fic monster falls, I had a wonderful idea to have a chapter set in town. I thought it would be cool if I had readers send me their OC's to fill up the background. I will. NEVER. do that again. It was fun, but that fic was so popular I got so many submissions and so many monsters I had to research to describe properly, because god FORBID I not research every monster people sent into me. Werewolves and shark mermaids were easy. But some of you..... some of you beasts (said with love) sent me the most obscure fucking folklore. To this day I know one of them had to be from an anime I still don't know

People who just sent me there fursonas and called them were-whatever animal still make me smile

🍦 ⇢ name three good things about a character you hate

God damn you. Fuck. Okay. I don't usually hate characters (dislike? yes, but they usually fit well in their world so I don't hate them) so I had to dig into the recessive of my brain for this one.

This is Sentinel Prime from transformers Animated. I haven't watched this show in probably... ten years? But I fucking hate him. Seethingly so. I got angry writing this. I hate him.

Great antagonist. Show sets him up as an annoying glory hound and makes the audience believe he will likely be due down the line for a redemption. Instead, his power hunger drives leads him into becoming a literal dictator being puppeted by the actual primary villian of the show. Don't be fooled- Sentinel is just as much a powerful antagonist in his own right. In my opinion, part of the reason Transformers Animated is remembered so fondly is because characters like Sentinel starting as irritating but almost allies. The irritating tendency to lie and cheat is treated as a character flaw and nothing more, and it ends being the very thing that throws their planet back into all out war.

Consistent. In a flash back, Sentinel ditches series protagonist Optimus and charcter Elita in the mines when they get attacked. Upon finding out Elita survived, albeit disfigured, instead of being relieved, Sentinel calls her gross to her face, even though his actions (or disactions, really) are what left her that way. For a second I thought this was going to be his moment of self reflection, but it absolutely was not. He's so buried into believing his own false retelling of the past he doesn't comprehend any of this as his own fault (at least, not out loud). And honestly, it's a great move. The writers really commit to the fact the Sentinel makes up his own truth, and once he does, he does not relent.

A very fitting critique for military nepotism babies? This was something that I didn't fully grasp as a kid, but as an adult looking back, the animated team really did a great job on Sentinel. He rose through the ranks through nepotism, making others take the fall for his mistakes, and funding war criminals to move him ahead; and it worked. The series was sadly cut short before their final season due to licensing issues, I would have loved to see the end of Sentinel's arc.

🍅 ⇢ give yourself some constructive criticism on your own writing

To start using an outline and then actually use the outline. But I should be realistic here. I think I would benefit from shorter piece lengths. I feel like I focus so much on the actions I want characters to take that I miss out on the opportunities to really describe feelings, environments.... sometimes, things just feel flat. My personal goal this year is to focus more on descriptive language and not just direction. Maybe now that I wrote that down I'll hold myself to it...?

When Crowley gets captured by angels and dragged up to Heaven, Aziraphale knows he has to rescue him—no matter the consequences.

glitch notes: This baby is 500k (5x longer than the original Good Omens!!) and I sat and consumed it nonstop in the course of 3 days. Contains an asexual main relationship, a ton of bible based world building, Alexander Hamilton and Houdini as important characters, and the story of how a demon and angel cause a revolution in between heaven and hell itself in their attempts to be together. Does not pull its punches in angst and MUAH beautifully done.

No one noticed when Izuku manifested his quirk. Not at first.

A week later and people began to take notice. After a statistically improbable week without a single death, people took notice. After deadly wounds were shrugged off like nothing, people took notice. Time passed and still no one could die. When the city of Musutafu became engulfed in the phenomenon dubbed 'The Zone', people were wary. No one could uncover what caused The Zone. It was an unknown, some claimed. It went against the laws of the world, some claimed. It was profitable, others claimed. Humans adapt. It's what they do. When faced with the bizarre, humanity adapts. The strange becomes mundane. The rest of the world looks on in horror. glitch notes: The world building in this one? AMAZING it haunts me to this day, I wish there was an original show about it. What DOES happen when there's an area of the world where immortality is suddenly the normal? In progress.

Hisashi Midoriya is a member of one of the most notorious underground supervillain organizations, and Izuku is being forced to help them (even though, trust him, he'd really rather not). Too bad that they don't predict that Izuku's going to get adopted by half the faculty when they send him to spy on the prestigious hero academy.

glitch notes: One of the fics that really made me passionate about writing. Unfinished but man, I adore this one. Reluctant villain trope, incredible writing, I made a full fan animatic for this fic once and that should tell it all.

Yesterday Upon the Stair by PitViperofDoom [BNHA]

Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it. But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless. Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.

glitch notes: If you like BNHA, this one is the most read fic for a reason in that fandom.

Dauntless by Allora Gale [Code Geass]

Lelouch had been quite happy with his life. Sure they were living in obscurity, but he and Nunnally were safe. All of that changes however, when his identity is revealed and Lelouch is forced back into the fold of the Imperial family.

glitch notes: I watched season one of Code Geass a long time ago, and never finished or rewatched it. Honestly I prefer this fanfic over the show itself because it's just so interesting? Good stuff even if you don't know the show at all. Still ongoing.

This is a world in which Mob and Reigen’s paths have never crossed, in which 10-year-old Mob found psychic guidance in the form of the aging, retired tv personality Keiji Mogami, in which Reigen followed through on his plans to close the Spirits and Such Agency, in which a cruel twist of Mob’s powers forces him to confront how dangerous he really is. 10 year old Shigeo Kageyama has vanished, his trail instantly cold, and his case gathers dust in police archives as a kidnapping never solved. glitch notes: Every time this updates I drop everything and read it like a man possessed. Often times this is the case in this fanfic! Chrissy has the most amazing writing skills, I study her work all the time to be able to convey emotions like that. Ongoing right now.

This one is all of the tropes I love, and the sequel feels like a proper send off to the show that was cut short. Has great art every chapter. Worth watching the show just to read this lolol.

sometimes, in very freaky moments, the portals go to alternate dimensions. shes plopped into gravity falls and cant leave bc of the weirdness bubble

then danny is thrown through a natural portal into gravity falls too, and thats where my fic starts! im still working on it though, so youll have to wait for it!

Random Keys/UF Crossover Ideas

Because I’m torn between both of my projects right now and I hate myself, here’s something that’ll only really appeal to the very niche audience of people who read both Universe Falls and Keys to the Kingdom. Basically its a list of somewhat spoilery (for Keys more than UF) headcanons of what it might be like if the Gravity Falls world scheduled to be in Keys was a Universe Falls world instead (in the sense that it still takes place in Gravity Falls physically but like... its set in the universe of Universe Falls (oy I’m explaining too much lemme just start rambling off the random ideas that have been popping into my head over the last several days of this hypothetical crossover of my two stupid fanfics):

For reference’s sake, on the UF end of things, this would take place somewhere around the middle of arc10ish, pretty close to Weirdmageddon as the GF world in Keys is gonna take place pretty close to Weirdmageddon too.

For Keys, the trip to this world would still take place in the same spot the GF world does, so semi close to the end of the story, as one of the last Disney worlds of the fic (guess it wouldn’t really be a “Disney” world here but ehhhhhh)

Guess I better give some context about what’s going on in each fic around that time; UF’s is easier to do so we’ll start with that; basically without spoiling a certain upcoming arc ender too much, during arc 10, everyone’s sorta frazzled what between all of the interdimensional travel, worries about Bill coming back and causing chaos, worries about the Diamonds possibly getting involved in stuff, shaken by the recent revelation that Rose allegedly shattered Pink Diamond and so on (basically there’s a lot going on in the leadup to UF’s ending hahaha)

Context for Keys (again without getting too spoilery (gotta tread even more careful here) is that by this point in the story Sora is basically in nonstop Panic Mode about the whole norting thing thanks to a certain encounter with one Bald Old Fuckhead during the Aladdin world immediately before this; so Sora’s on the run from basically his entire support system cause he’s all worried about unintentionally hurting his friends (and he also just doesn’t want Riku or Kairi in particular to see what’s happening to him cause Disaster Bi).

Cont. Context for Keys cause that last bullet point was Long: Despite all this fuckin Angst, Sora’s still out searching for the Keys on his own in the hopes of securing the final few for the guardians of light before he can be fully norted and forced into handing them over to the Organization instead

Not to mention those freak relatively dark/light powers of his are alll outta whack cause he A. Doesn’t know how to control them At All and B. Is Emotionally Distraught so that’s only making things worse

And the entire gang is more or less out searching the worlds tryin’ to find Sora (he yeeted his Gummi Phone off a fuckin cliff or something just so nobody could get in touch with him smh what a waste of a perfectly good cell phone); among the teams that are out doing so include the one we’re gonna focus on here, Ven and Roxas

Back to the UF end of things, I wanna talk about where each of the Mystery Kids are at this point; Steven is sorta all over the place with, again, the revelation that his mom could have been a murderer; Dipper is hella nervous about the idea of Bill getting his hands on the Rift (even moreso after RMD cause PTSD is Somethin Else kids), Mabel is in that mindset of not wanting the summer to end so they can all stay together, and Connie is basically (as usual) the only one with any brain cells as she’s trying to hold the gang together

(lowkey spoilers for the Keys GF chapters start here) So Sora arrives in Gravity Falls, suffering from all the angsts and anxieties and whatnot and just Not Having a Very Good Time Emotionally/Mentally as he starts lookin around for the Key in the woods or whatever

But lo and behold everyone’s favorite Evil Corn Chip just so happens to be spyin’ on him, and before too long Bill makes his appearance and acts all friendly to Sora, claiming that he can basically undo the whole norting thing (which he knows all about because of course he would, this is Bill Fucking Cipher we’re talking about here)

Sora’s skeptical but at the same time he’s sort of willing to do whatever he can at this point to keep his heart from being taken over by Mr. Bald Old Fuckhead and all Bill is asking for in return is for him to nab some sparkly snow globe that he claims already belongs to him but was stolen by some local family who Bill makes out to be pretty bad so hey, why not at least give it a shot? (dumb, the kid is dumb this is something we’ve established many times over by this point)

So Sora sets out to look for both the rift and the Key (while also being harangued by Xemnas who’s the Org. baddie of the GF world but errrrr i don’t have a ton of ideas about what he’s gonna do yet so we’ll just skip over that for now and focus on somethin else)

Something else being the fact that Sora happens upon a bunch of kids being attacked by a group of Nobodies, so he swoops in to save them even though the kids already look like they’re holding their own pretty well against them (two of them are out here swinging swords around, one’s really handy with that grappling hook while another one has some sort of magical shield? Its weird??? But cool imo)

So they all team up to take the Nobodies out and following that, Sora meets and mostly hits it off with the Mystery Kids

Mabel is super hype (she kinda instantly crushes on Sora as soon as she sees him even though he’s too fuckin old for her); Steven and Sora radiate the same sort of Sweet But Sad energy so of course they’re best friends immediately

Connie’s a lil bewildered by Sora (who the hell goes around swinging a giant key like its a sword, that’s just not practical???) but Dipper’s distrustful radar is instantly raised for a a number of reasons, but the biggest red flag he notices about Sora by far is that his eyes are yellow (btw by this point his eyes will more or less be completely yellow and his hair almost entirely white; he usually wears his hood up to try and hide that, but it got blown off during the forementioned fight)

So the kids were out and about in the woods for mystery hunting reasons, mostly cause they were trying to cool their heads from all of the stress they’re under mentioned earlier (and cause hey, the summer’s ending soon and they gotta spend all the time they can together at this point)

However, they quickly change gears when they learn about Sora’s quest to find some magical Key and they all eagerly decide they wanna help with that cause it sounds hella rad; Dipper would likely be the only dissenter to this plan, but he’d be lowkey about it, kinda deciding to keep a suspicious eye on Sora all the while (he doesn’t really act like he’s being possessed by Bill, but ya can never be too sure nowadays...)

So they all set out in search of the Key (Sora decides not to tell them about Bill or the rift just yet, but even so right off the bat he’s basically decided “yes I’m adopting all four of these kids as my new little brothers and sisters and no one can stop me”)

So cut to the other end of things and we have Ven and Roxas who have basically only just met each other face to face for the first time (they’re both basically constantly doin that spiderman look alike meme); they’ve been more or less teamed up to look for Sora together tho, and they both got a massive guilt complex about the whole thing cause they used to be able to directly protect him inside his heart but now they can’t since they’re out of it so they’re determined to find him and make sure he’s OK

They also show up in Gravity Falls, arriving much closer to the Mystery Shack and the Gem Temple than Sora did; since its the closest thing nearby, the boys decide to venture over to the Mystery Shack to look first

After some brief, confused yet fun conversation with Soos and Wendy, they bump into Stan and that initial meeting goes something like:

Stan: Who the hell are you two supposed to be? You twins or something?

Roxas: No??? What the fuck is a twin??

Ventus, realizing that Roxas has like 0 real world experience or regard for world order at that moment right fucking there: (oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck) Ummmm YES WE ARE WE’RE TOTALLY TWINS AHAHA AREN’T WE BROTHER?

Roxas, immensely confused: What the hell is a brother??

And then Ford shows up and Roxas looks between him and Stan is just like “ooooh ok now I get what a twin is” and Ven is just like “oh my god I think Roxas managed to catch some of Sora’s stupidity after all asdkjalsdkalsd”

Anyway after all this awkward confusion is over, Roxas and Ven bring up that they’re there looking for someone, and while neither Stan nor Ford are that invested, they do offhandedly mention maybe the Crystal Gems can help

Ironically enough, the Gems happen to burst into the shack right then and there, taking refuge from the surge of strange creatures swarming outside (Nobodies & Heartless); the Gems are rather overwhelmed by them since their weapons don’t work that great on them so they’ve come to seek Ford’s help (since he’s got all those weapons and lasers and shit he keeps stockpiled)

In this Ven and Roxas end up meeting the Gems and both of them are just like :O (Ven’s lowkey like, “Aqua would get along great with these ladies, they’re total badasses just like her!”) and the Gems just kinda pass the boyos off like “yeah whatever there’s a fuckton of monsters outside meanwhile where are our kids?”

Stan and Ford are like *shrug* cause neither of them are very good at being Responsible when it comes to keeping an eye on these danger-prone kids and the Gems are just like *facepalm* “Morons” so they set out to find the kids and Ven and Roxas are like “well they know their way around here so why not go with them to see if we can find Sora too!” and so they all head out on a lil adventure

Then a whole bunch of stuff happens on both sides of the plot that I haven’t bothered to figure out; bunch of cute character interactions and whatever; insert possible second encounter with Xemnas in here somewhere where he basically shows up just to intimidate Sora but Sora’s like “no way jose, you touch any of these precious kiddos and you’ll Die”

Somewhere in here, under... some circumstances, Sora and the MK make it back to the shack but like... everyone’s gone? (cause they all went out to look for them, didn’t even leave a note, fuckin rude)

They search the house for anybody and then, on complete fuckin accident, Sora finds his way down into the basement (the portal room to be exact) and what else does he find down there but that thing Bill asked him to get (the rift)!

Though he’s a little confused about why its there (Bill did say some awful family “stole” the rift from him, but none of the MK are awful, they a bunch of Good Kids); Sora still pockets it like a desperate dummy dumb anyway and doesn’t say a word about it to the kids because he thinks they might be too innocent and young to know anything about it anyway (he’s wrong of course because much like him these kids are Traumatized with a capital T but we’ll just ignore that for now)

Still on the search for that Key, Sora and the kids head out only to run right into Stan, Ford, and the Gems on the way out; course, Ven and Roxas are still with them and they see Sora and they’re like :D while Sora’s just like “aw fuck” and runs away from his problems like always

So he rushes off into the woods and who else would show up but that Motherfuckin Evil Corn Chip again who’s like “yo kid ya got the stuff” and Sora’s just like “brb having a panic attack rn” but then he ends up obliviously handing the rift over anyway cause again he’s incredibly desperate for any way out of his current horrible situation

Of course because I’m a sap for Drama, he happens to do so just as all four of the MK show up, having followed him into the woods and ohohohoh boy oh boy let’s just say them seeing Sora just up and giving the rift over to Bill would be a Moment (well, at least for Steven and Dipper cause they actually know what the fuckin rift is unlike Mabel and Connie who still wouldn’t at that point)

So basically Bill is a little shit and takes the rift, but he can’t actually fuckin do anything with it cause he’s a physical object and he’s still intangible (or somethin like that idk I just don’t want Weirdmageddon to happen cause it would make things too complicated) so he’s like “fuck gotta find some stupid sap to possess so I can smash this dumb thing” and he nearly targets Sora (cause the kid was already stupid enough to help him in the first place so why not?) until Steven ends up being the one to fend him off using his shield

Bill shrugs it off and makes off with the rift anyway (its like... hovering or something? idk I’m running out of steam) and everyone panics of course, especially Sora cause he’s just like “well shit I certainly Fucked Up didn’t i?” and the MK are both a mix of “YOU THINK?” (from Dipper and Connie mostly) and “imo not your fault Bill’s tricked just about all of us he’s an asshole” (from Steven and Mabel)

Amidst this a bunch of lil things also happen; the Stans and the Gems show up (along with Ven and Roxas), basically everyone is immensely confused (aka those who have no idea what the fucking rift is) and alarmed (those who do know what the rift is) that Bill has what he needs to more or less fuck the entire world over

So everyone just decides to put everything aside and team up all together to track Bill down and get the rift back before he can break it (there’s a lot of heartwarming trust moments in here, mostly cause trust is like... the cornerstone theme of the GF chapters in Keys for obvious reasons)

They eventually do find him and *insert big epic battle scene here* where everyone teams up to basically beat Bill to death or whatever (don’t ask me how they be doin that if he’s intangible, again I.... I’m tired and this post is long enough as it is)

Yadda yadda yadda they beat him, get the rift back and effectively prevent Weirdmageddon from happening to begin with (which just does SO much wonderful fuckery for UF’s timeline moving forward but whatever, this ain’t about that)

Oh and during that Climactic Battle Scene somewhere there’s some bit about Sora learning to better trust others/himself that leads to him getting the world’s Key? I-I I dunno its a work in progress...

Anyway after this there’s a lot of good character interactions all around, reconciliations between the UF characters and the Keys characters, particularly between Sora and the MK (again he’s adopted these kiddos and don’t you forget it)

So with the Key in hand, Sora starts to leave and Roxas and Ven almost convince him to go back with them until *insert Big Keys Spoiler here that results in the Organization getting their hands on that Key Sora just got and also results in Sora running away again cause... reasons*

And that’s the end of the chapters or whatever idk

There’s probably more ideas I had in mind for this but I literally can’t do anymore my brain is dying

I might possibly write this for reals someday i dunno I’m stuck in two personal hells here so I might as well combine ‘em

Yes I’m aware this post leans more heavily on Keys than UF but its set in the world of UF so fuck off

Escape

A Monster Falls concept I kind of made up on accident which is like a mix of the wild things that went down in a dream I had + a couple other ideas. Basically it’s Monster Falls, but it takes place the Summer after, and everyone is back in town for the Summer. Dipper never actually finds the Fluvius Cantatis, although Ford does mention it. There’s an awful storm and the river floods instead, getting into the town’s water supply (I’ve seen a couple fics where a flood is what happens). Within a couple days, everyone in town had been turned into monsters. However, when the river flooded, the water came into contact with Bill’s statue, still out there in the woods, and its magical properties brought him back. He isn’t as powerful as before, and the rift is still closed, he doesn’t have his henchmaniacs, and the law of weirdness magnetism is still preventing him to leave. And he is angry.

Ford realises that Bill is back and everyone begins to make plans to evacuate the town before he could do anything to the people of Gravity Falls. But how can an entire town of people up and leave? Soos, Melody, Wendy, and Fiddleford end up staying behind and distracting Bill while the Pines family gets everyone out. Nobody was happy with this arrangement- nobody wanted their friends and family possibly getting hurt on their behalf. But the four are adamant, and they refuse to let any of the Pines family stay behind also- they need to lead the townspeople out, and besides, they’re the ones that Bill wants. Before anyone can argue further, they’ve already left to meet Bill.

So they go to get everyone out. But of course, they aren’t just going to leave behind their family.

Insert Escape, a short (~900 words), unfinished bit that’s mostly me pre-brainstorming. Stan, Ford, Tate, Manly Dan, and Abuelita (with Bud’s help!) all go back into town to rescue their family before Bill can get to them, and the following getaway. If I can get enough content to form a full plot I might write a full story about this- however I don’t have a good track record with longer stories.

Bill’s eye widened when he realised what exactly had happened. The townspeople had escaped the town. And that included the Pines family. He spun around to the four. “What did you do?” He shouted.

“Oh, nothing,” Wendy said, almost casually. “It’s your fault for letting yourself be distracted long enough.”

All his plans were crumbling. He was trapped inside this stupid town, his rift was gone, and now he couldn’t even take revenge on the people who had ruined everything he had worked for.

He glowered down at the pathetic little monsters standing in front of him. Well, there’s still something he could have revenge on. He raised his hand to snap his fingers, but before he could do anything to them, there was a yowl and something leapt at him from the side, latching onto his face and scratching at his eyes.

“What the?”

Stan landed next to the four, pulling them out of their ropes.

“Mr. Pines?” Soos asked. “You were supposed to get out!”

“Yeah, well, we couldn’t leave you behind.”

Bill managed to dislodge Ford from his face, tossing him away. The sphinx landed hard next to the others but was quickly on his feet again, despite the pain he was definitely in. There was a sound like roaring water then Tate appeared beside his father. Then Manly Dan was there, offering a hand to his daughter. Finally, Abuelita phased into existence beside her grandson.

“Let’s get out of here,” Ford said, clutching his shoulder in pain. Bill was rubbing at his eye, waiting for it to regenerate sufficiently, but they didn’t have much time- Ford had scratched up his eye at best. The monsters all got onto their feet or leapt into the air and bolted.

They ran until they got to the outskirts of town, where a large van was waiting, its doors already open. In the driver’s seat was, of all people, Bud Gleeful. His head shot up when he saw the monsters coming and he started up the car. “Get in!”

The monsters all leapt into the van. There weren’t enough seats for all of them but this was the least of their concerns. Before everyone had even fully gotten in and closed the doors, Bud had already hit the gas and was driving as quickly as he could down the road that lead out of town.

“You’re going to regret that!” The passengers all winced at the booming voice coming from behind him. There was a large boom and several boulders came flying towards them. Bud shouted and desperately went to avoid them.

“Keep going!” Tate yelled. He rolled down the window and sent a powerful jet of water towards the closest boulder, shattering it into pieces.

Fiddleford stared at his son with mild surprise. “I didn’t know you could do that.”

“Frankly, I didn’t either. But now’s not the time to worry-”

“Bud, boulder!”

At Stan’s sudden shout, Bud spun the wheel and the van veered to the left, narrowly avoiding the boulder that had landed in the road in front of them.

Melody craned her neck around to look through the back window. “He’s getting closer, guys!”

Bill, having recovered, was now chasing after the escaping monsters, in a terrifying form of all teeth and arms.

Dan growled and opened the van door. “Dad, what are you doing?” Wendy questioned and the manotaur climbed onto the roof of the van, shutting the door with his hoof.

He held onto the roof, gripping with his hands, and held his ground as the next boulder came flying right towards him. Right before it hit the car, he surged forward, cracking the boulder in half with his hard skull before it could collide.

“We’re almost to the town limit!” Cried Ford. Bud narrowed his eyes in determination. This final stretch of road went straight so he could finally go full speed without having to worry about crashing or overturning.

“Hold on up there, Dan!” He called, and stepped on the gas. The town border was within sight. Unfortunately, Bill was gaining on them. The town limit was approaching, but so was Bill.

Dan and Tate did their best to impede the demon, at least a little but. Dan chucked a piece of boulder that had landed on the car roof at Bill while Tate shot jets of water at him. Abuelita, too, did her best to slow Bill’s approach by forcing the winds against him. But he was strong, and getting closer…

The monsters felt the moment they passed the town border. It was as if there was some kind of pulling force trying to drag them back into the town. Bud’s instincts told him to turn right back around, but he forced himself to block it out and not stop. Luckily, the monsters aren’t nearly as weird as Bill is, so despite something like an invisible string trying to pull them back, they managed to escape the confines of the town.

“Don’t think this is over! I will find my way out of this stupid town and get my revenge on you all! Especially you, Stanley Pines.”

Bud kept driving.

Tate withdrew from the window and Wendy opened the door to help her father back in. Finally (relatively) safe, Bud slowed down the car to a more reasonable pace.
