what gcses do you think the ark took?
very important information i need to know
all of them took music. easy passes for them, yaknow? they need something simple like that so they can manage band life at the same time.
jimmy probably took all humanities otherwise, so like history/geography/RPE (religion, philosophy & ethics, this was an option in my school idk if its slightly differsnt in other schools but u get what i mean.) im leaning more towards history and RPE. i feel like hes good at debate, more because he feels like he has to be over than enjoying it all that much. bitch learns about topics he doesnt care for out of spite. with his anxiety, he still prefers written essays though.
for some reason i can see rowan being very good with your classic academics like maths and science. id say he took triple science and some kind of business studies.
lister took history, only because jimmy was taking it, and art because he thought it would be easy (it wasn't.) he only passed music and english literature, which he scrapped a C in, but ended up settling for it. rowan passed his exams with A*/A somehow, lister thinks hes just naturally good but he put a lot of effort into that, probably got sick with stress as soon as exams were over. jimmy passed most of his exams but failed science.
you didn't ask but im doing the girls too;
bliss also took art because she thought it would be easy, history and geography. (these were literally my gcses but technically i did photography)
angel also seems like an arty gal. going to say she did art too, as well as compsci. for some resson i can see her doing some sort of language? im not sure why. something like french or german, because she wasn't sure what else to take. these are purposely all over the place because she had no idea what she wanted to do. she someone got into psychologh a-level at the end of it instead. she keeps it real.
juliet was definitely pushed to take classes she hated by her parents. business, law, triple science. all that shit that they say will set you up for a successful future. she gets through them at the cost of throwing away her sanity for academic validation. she passed with mostly A/A* and one or two B's, which she was proud of until her parents compared her to her friends or classmates who did better. (i love juliet angst shes sooooo i love her so so much)
ALSO JADE OMONDI. def took compsci, probably business too, and some sort of creative, like photography over music id say. also not related but i feel she took things like violin or piano lessons through school too.

like @otterlycosplay yOU SEE WHAT I SEE I'M JUST SO TEMPTED
“Oh,” Gojo laughs. “Right. I should explain this, shouldn’t I?” He tosses the little red ball up and down. “Binding vow to the universe, makes the technique more effective. I learned that much before they kicked me out.”
The curse is quivering on the ground before him, and whatever his perfectly-okay-maybe-not-perfectly-normal-but-perfectly-normal-for-a-math-or-physics-student roommate had done previously was more than enough, but not enough for the other man. No, Gojo stalks forward like a cat: playing with his food.
(A small part of Suguru is trying to process the words: ‘they’? There’s a they? Does that mean there are other people like him?)
“Mathematicians love infinity, it’s just a construct,” Gojo explains, “but physicists hate it. Infinite density? They think it shouldn’t exist in reality. A mathematical construct, a mathematically acceptable solution to the hypothesis that ‘gravity is geometry’ but not one with any relevance to the real world. Until in 1964, they found one.” He snorts. “And you thought your domain expansion was ‘infinite density’ to get past my Limitless. Don’t talk to me about infinite density.”
Gravity as Geometry, where had Suguru seen that before?
Oh, he realizes. The textbook that is sitting open on their kitchen table right now. But that would mean—
“And it turns out that you can do a lot of things with cursed energy. It’s just energy, after all, and energy is mass. You take a perfect sphere of radiation and fire it inwards, and eventually it reaches its own Schwarzschild radius. Collapses straight into a black hole. Except a very small one. And you know what small black holes do? Evaporate. T-sub-H equals h-bar c cubed over eight pi G M k-sub-B, is that enough of an explanation for you? Hawking radiation, predicted in 1974. You know, I think this is fairly similar to my family’s technique Red. Maybe this was Red all along, we were all just making Kugelblitz black holes and didn’t realize it. But you know what I did realize?”
The curse doesn’t say anything, possibly because Gojo is crushing its head beneath his foot.
“Professor Ashida’s course, last year. The Dirac sea. Another silly ‘mathematical construct’, infinite negative energy eigenstates being filled so that matter could exist. Except it’s real and I can touch it.” Lightning is crackling around his hand, something purple. “I think it’s my favorite technique. The old family records made it sound like it was so hard. But really, it’s not. You just study relativistic electrons in a quantum setting and it pops right out, a mathematical consequence that it took them nearly a century to make any. Well, in Limitless, it’s simple.” Gojo grins. “Hollow Purple Technique: Matter-Antimatter Annihilation!”
And everything is washed out in light.

HEADCANON / META DROP ; NIKOLAI
history. so either a. activision can't math, b. they expect us to believe nikolai is in his 60s, or c. the timeline for the rebooted series is different than the real world. seeing as point b is a literal fucking joke, i just want to put a few things out there about nikolai and his history that will always remain true regardless of point a or b:
in his youth, nikolai was a soldier in the russian army. while he was stationed as a guard in the russian embassy in copenhagen, the west learned of his 'dissatisfaction' with his country and it's policies, and made efforts to recruit him - but it wasn't until he was reassigned to the embassy in london that MI6 got their hands on him.
after this, he became an intelligence asset to MI6, and a confidential source for the british SAS. he was accused of being an informant at one point in time, but these accusations went nowhere except a small beating (or so he claims).
sometime during this time, he met and forged a lifelong friendship with jonathan price.
later, he left the military, and acquired a new identity. there are no records anywhere of his birth name, his origin, or anything of that matter. he simply goes by 'nikolai', which was the code name given to him back when he was an informant.
he is now a 'fixer' and the head of a private military company named chimera. for the right price (and cause), he can get you anything you need. weapons, information, people - it's all at his fingertips. (that being said, he loves his people, and he will not give them as fodder for any kind of situation.)
nationalism. and here's the tricky bit. nikolai is proud of his heritage and country, he loves being russian, he loves his culture and all things good associated with it - what he is not proud of is the current actions of his country and its literal war crimes and actual genocide. i know people go to rp to escape the real world, but i just wanted to put this down - nikolai is a proud russian and always has been, but he is also anti-putin and all of his policies, so please don't get it twisted, in this house, we love and support ukraine.
sexuality. it is illegal to be anything but heterosexual in russia. between that, and the fact that he is an incredibly busy man, nikolai doesn't really date, or do relationships period. his life is so very, very complicated and dangerous, and he doesn't care to put people in the line of fire, or open himself up to being blackmailed. that being said, nikolai is definitely on the demisexual spectrum. when he loves, he loves someone completely, regardless of their gender identity.
relationship with the 141 & associates. task force 141 - he will (and has actually done so before) drop anything and everything to help the one-four-one. he loves that task force with his whole damn chest, and every member of it is dear to him. (gaz is his favorite.) kate laswell - he loves kate, anytime she pulls him into things they get messy and fun - and he loves messy situations. on a personal note, he really does enjoy kate's company, and likes that she will sometimes team up with him to poke fun at price. he sends flowers all the time to her wife because he's a gentleman and knows that, more often than not, his involvement in things makes kate's job difficult, and sometimes keeps her late at work for long hours.
the captain situation. okay, the section most of you have probably been looking for - the section on captain price. i'll try to make this simple: nikolai loves jonathan price. he always has - in fact he doesn't really a remember a time where he didn't love him or some aspect of him. he is hopelessly devoted to that man, and if john asked him to do anything, he'd do it. immediately. however, that doesn't really mean much in their lines of work when it comes down to it. do i hc that they've probably been on and off with a relationship that's not necessarily physical and probably mostly emotional for literal decades at this point? yes. but do i also believe it to be an incredibly messy thing, where both parties know they can't really be together-together because of their lines of work and home countries? also yes. (do i think that they probably make the one-four-one exhausted with their constant 'will they, won't they' shit? fuck yes. gaz has a betting pool, it's up to 500 quid.) their kind of love is complicated, and yes nikolai is a big dumb romantic but he's also a realist. price has a calling, a duty (lol), a need to save the world - and nikolai sees that, and refuses to get in the way of it.

Not a Nuzlocke || An original pokemon challenge run
Ok, so. First off, this is gonna be a long ass post. There'll be a read more line somewhere so im not committing domestic tumblr terrorism by posting a 6 mile long post but for now, I'll start with the basics.
This is a modular, adaptive challenge run style.
This challenge run is based around a versatile points score system. I did a fuck load of maths to create this, but the short of it is, Pokemon available in the game (this is for Black & White only so far) are tiered based on a combination score of ease of use, how worthwhile each pokemon is for their given game, base stats; general impact in the story as well as being weighted by the gen 5 end of generation smogon competitive singles tiers. These both form a combined score for each pokemon, which is then cut into tiers.
2. The tiers
Here are the tiers. Mostly consisting of fully evolved pokemon, but they do include a few notable NFE pokemon acclaimed by either serebii or smogon. (Don't worry if a certain pokemon isn't here, I'll explain that afterwards.)
S tier: [11-10 pts]
Excadrill - 11pts
Haxorus / Darmanitan / Scrafty - 10pts
A Tier: [9.5-7.5pts]
Conkeldurr - 9.5pts
Ferrothorn / Reuniclus / Krookodile - 9pts
Chandelure - 8.5pts
Archeops - 8pts
Gothitelle / Lilligant 7.5pts
B Tier: [7-5.5pts]
Jellicent / Cobalion / Virizion / Crustle / Emboar / Galvantula / Sigilyph / Samurott / Sawk / Thundurus - 7pts
Escavalier / Gigalith / Throh / Simipour - 6.5pts
Terrakion / Volcarona / Cofagrigus / Druddigon / Klinklang / Gurdurr / Stoutland / Mienshao / Cinccino - 6pts
Scolipede - 5.5pts
C Tier: [5-4pts]
Bisharp / Tornadus / Amoongus / Bouffalant / Cryogonal / Durant / Ferroseed / Basculin / Carracosta / Golurk / Musharna / Sawsbuck / Seismitoad / Serperior / Simisage - 5pts
Accelgor / Whimsicott - 4.5pts
Eelektross / Liepard / Audino / Beheeyem / Scraggy / Swanna / Zebstrika - 4pts
D Tier: [3.5-3pts]
Fraxure / Krokorok - 3.5pts
Alomomola / Braviary / Garbodor / Mandibuzz / Stunfisk / Gothorita / Duosion / Dwebble / Maractus / Swoobat / Emolga / Leavanny / Simisear / Unfezant / Vanilluxe - 3pts
E/F Tier: [2.5-1pts]
Klang - 2.5pts
Beartic / Watchog - 2pts
Zweilous - 1.5pts
Heatmor - 1pt
--------------
NOTE: If any pre-evolved pokemon is not listed here, its points are simply half of its next evolved form's, for example:
Serperior (5pts) > Servine (2.5pts) > Snivy (1.25pts)
[A pokemon's points will never be divided lower than .25 to keep things simple. If that does happen in future lists going forward, it'll just get rounded down to the nearest whole number of points.]
--------------
Now, the reason why there are half points are for multiple reasons. Trade evolutions lose half a point in calculation and pokemon in a BL smogon tier gain half a point.
A few inconsistencies are also in here for balancing reasons, for example, Zweilous having 1.5pts despite Hydreigon appearing nowhere on the list. Reason being - It's useable but its crap for the endgame and absolutely not worth it.
Now for the omissions + some examples:
Anything unobtainable before the Pokemon League/Elite 4. (Kyurem, Hydreigon*)
Event exclusive pokemon & Mythicals. (Keldeo, Genesect, Meloetta, Victini)
Pokemon that ended generation 5 in Smogon Uber tier. (Reshiram, Zekrom)
* Put a pin in this for now, we'll come back to it later.
3. The rules
The rules can be adjusted for how easy or difficult you want your challenge to be. You can also introduce your own rules or take some of these out to change the difficulty to suit your personal play style.
UNCHANGEABLE RULES:
One heal per Pokemon Centre, nurse, rest stop, etc. - You may heal once more in an area with a gym AFTER completing the gym there and earning its badge.
You cannot buy revives.
If you black out, you must release (or box permanently) one pokemon on your team AT RANDOM.
No healing your pokemon by depositing them in the PC.
If you're out of Pokemon, you lose.
----------------
These rules aren't as immediately punishing as a Nuzlocke in terms of "whoops your pokemon fainted. its dead now. fuck you, debbie. cope." - but they force primary strain in a nuzlocke, HP management, to instead become a more evenly spread out challenge across the board.
You can't rely on Pokemon Centres to restore your pokemon, so PP becomes a heavier consideration. Do you learn that powerful move with only 5 PP or keep your decently powerful move that has 15 or 20 PP? Experience also becomes an issue as a result. You don't want to waste all your PP on grinding before your gym battle only to have your pokemon Struggle to its bitter end against the Leader's almost defeated ace.
This also makes fainting have an actual consequence (besides a nuzlocke's obvious death rule lol) If you have used your heal in the current area and haven't got any others you skipped before to go back to, that pokemon is out of commission for a while and is gonna miss out on a good amount of EXP until you get to your next heal stop.
This challenge aims to be... challenging, but also a little more forgiving than the traditional nuzlocke by not making your entire challenge hinge on each and every battle.
SUGGESTED RULESET:
All mandatory rules apply (as above)
You can use any found/gifted revives.
Only one pokemon may be caught before each gym. Gifts are exempt.
Only pokemon from C tier and below may be used. (5pts or less)
No Audino/Chansey/Blissey farming.
----------------
You can change the useable tiers to increase or decrease your challenge. I found C tier to be a good starting point and a manageable enough challenge to get me using pokemon I otherwise wouldn't use.
The Audino grinding rule is there to stop overlevelling from insane grinding, and also means that Hydreigon is essentially impossible to obtain in this challenge.
If you want more of a challenge than this, here are a few more rules you could add if you're particularly good at the game. (not all of these will go together, find what works for you.)
No healing in battle
No held items
Only relying on healing items found or gifted to you by NPCs
No TM use
No move deleter/tutor/reminder
Marts can only be used once
The total combined points of all the pokemon on your team cap out at [X], allowing you to use any pokemon in any tier until you reach the points cap. This would force you to use low tier pokemon if you want to use a very high tier pokemon for example
You can only catch the first applicable pokemon in an area
No fully evolved Pokemon
Well, That's the end of the explanation. I might make tierlists for this challenge for other games in the future when I get round to playing them. (Next would probably be the alola games).
GLHF!

I dreamed I was in school last night - it was a weird sort of school, but it was definitely my old high school.
It was math class and I wasn't paying attention when the teacher called on me to solve the exercise in the textbook.
It was a simple exercise (I've never had trouble with math), but this was a dream. I kept forgetting what the exercise said, except that I could solve it. There was a right triangle. I had to calculate... something. There was a λ somewhere, but it wasn't an issue. It was just that I kept forgetting what the exercise was.
The textbook was too new and unbroken. I fumbled and it twisted and closed shut. I tried to find the exercise again, but I couldn't remember what page it was on, and none of the pages I skimmed through were even similar.
"I can't find it," I told my teacher, who had always been an asshole (even in real life).
"Not my problem," he said. "You have ten minutes."
It was a one-minute exercise, but I couldn't find it. I was stumped not by its difficulty, but because I couldn't figure out where it was. I was growing more and more frantic and panicky, until I finally slammed the book shut.
"I won't do it," I said. "Give me a 2 and that's that." (The Romanian grading system in school goes from 1 to 10, but it's rare that anyone gets graded 1, possibly because it would be too easy to turn it into a 10 with the right ink and penmanship, possibly because teachers don't want to feel like assholes. I've always found American A, B, C etc. confusing.)
My math teacher shrugged and graded me.
It was a relief to just give up. This grade wasn't worth the stress, especially since I was aware that I'm no longer a high school student and grades don't have an impact on my life.
I feel like there was a lesson there, along the way, and it wasn't about math. But now I'm awake and thinking about that teacher I used to have and how he was in real life, his chalky fingers, his teeth, yellowed from smoking cigarette after cigarette, the way he'd pick on us and pull our hair. Most of my colleagues take it as a joke. I didn't. After I told the principal about it and he was reprimanded, he avoided speaking to me again and never called on me in class.
They said he used to beat his son at home, and the son was very much not ok. I don't know if this is true.
He was the first of my former teachers to die. The news made me feel... very little. I hadn't hated him enough to want him dead. I didn't like him enough to care.
I looked him up now. They named a classroom in my old school after him, citing him as a brilliant mathematician and a great teacher, comparing him to a therapist who heals with his eloquence. That's funny, because I don't remember anything of the sort. His style of teaching wasn't conducive to a true understanding of mathematics - but it was good for memorizing formulas a bit at a time. I entered high school being brilliant at math and left it scraping by.
History is written not just by the victors, but by those in power, even if their power is only that of school teachers.

What is Application Software? Examples, Types
There are many ways to use application software, from games that take us to other places to productivity boosters that make work easier. These apps are very useful in our daily lives, whether to manage our money with a mobile banking app or to stay in touch with friends and family on social media. More research into this subject shows how flexible and different kinds of application software are and how much they have changed modern society. Let's adventure into the application software world, where code meets usefulness and makes life a million times easier.
Tumblr media
What does application software mean?
In other words, if someone asks, "What is application software?" The correct technical answer is that it's a collection of defined data, programs, processes, instructions, and documentation that can do different things when users ask it to. They make it possible for end users to connect with the system. This is why they are called end-user apps. This software can also be called an app or an application. There are different kinds of software programs that can do both easy and hard jobs.
As the name suggests, software is a set of rules that can change the way hardware works. Assembly language is the most basic form of software. It is a set of rules that a computer can understand. Besides that, the software is written in high-level languages that are turned into machine language code at the top level.
Software tools are what make computers work. Different software programs tell a computer system what to do, when, and how to do it. For example, MS Word, Google Chrome, and Photoshop are all types of software.
There is a lot of high-tech hardware and software available to us today that shapes how we live our lives and meets our constantly growing and changing needs.
How to Tell the Difference Between System Software and Application Software
System software controls the computer's resources and lets application software run. Application software, on the other hand, does specific jobs.
Low-level languages, like assembly code, are used to make system software. High-level languages, like .NET, C++, VB, and Java, are used to make application software.
System software runs a computer's hardware. On the other hand, people run specific tasks using application software.
System software programming is harder than application software writing. Application software is also simpler and easier to understand.
Application software needs system software to run, but system software can run on its own and give application software a place to run.
Types of application softwares
1) General Application Software
General software can perform a lot of simple tasks. They take care of all the basic tasks that a person needs to do on the system. This group includes a lot of popular business applications.
You can get these software programs on their own or as part of application suite deals. Apache OpenOffice, WPS Office, MS Office, and many more are all examples of application software.
The general application software is further broken down into the following groups:
a) Word Processing Software
The word processor's added functionality allows users to create, edit, delete, access, alter, and format text files. They also offer Word Art, thesaurus, and other tools to improve file appearance.
They create print and email solutions for newsletters, reports, manuals, and books.
Word processors include MS Word, Open Office Writer, WordPad, and WPS Writer.
b) Spreadsheet Software
We can do math using several tools on a spreadsheet. Information is in a table with rows and sections. A cell is a row-column intersection.
This sheet comprises date, time, and number cells. Different formulas can be utilized for different jobs and calculations. The software offers charts, lists, 3D graphs, and more. Businesses and finance use it most.
Spreadsheets include LibreOffice Calc, Google Sheets, and Excel.
c) Database Software
Databases systematically store useful data. They are also known as Database Management Systems. Users can add, remove, edit, and retrieve database data with its help.
Apps created by enterprise software development services automatically generate and store data. The application retrieves and stores data using the database management system (DBMS).
Database management solutions can store email addresses, phone numbers, catalogs, and more.
Application software includes SQL, Oracle, dBASE, and others.
d) Presentation Software
The presentation software company lets people show off their ideas and initiatives on slides. This software provides the essentials for an effective presentation. They can also be presented using music, video, maps, and graphs.
Microsoft PowerPoint and Pinnacle Studio are popular tools.
e) Web Browsers
Web software is crucial online. Information on the Internet, or World Wide Web, is accessible using the web browser. Everything we find online for free is information. Read files, watch videos, download photographs, and use Google with browser software.
Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer are popular browsers.
f) Educational Software
In the schooling field, educational software programs are very helpful. You can use this program to teach others or learn on your own. It has tutorials and training. Google Earth and NASA World Wind are the best examples of tools for schools.
It is now possible for schools to hire dedicated programmers to make custom apps for learning.
g) Graphic Design Software
With graphic design software, you can quickly change things about digital photos or movies. This software has software for drawing and changing pictures.
There are software programs for graphic creation, such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio, and Adobe Illustrator.
h) Simulation Software
Many fields employ simulation software to simulate real-life settings. This is great for computer gaming and work training. Software companies can build simulation software to help users acclimate to their surroundings before using real machinery after training.
AR and VR are utilized to create game software.
Consider the tough pilot and astronaut training programs. Professional software development services' simulation programs assist users in learning to fly planes and spacecraft. These models become more lifelike and immersive with AR and VR.
2) Customized Application Software
People and businesses need to stay ahead in today's market, so many of them turn to application software creation to make business software that fits their needs. However, these kinds of software programs are made to meet specific needs. This application program doesn't include the extra features that come with application software, either. Because of this, these features of application software are available, which is what users want for their needs.
This business application program, on the other hand, is not to be found on the internet. That means we can't download from anywhere. In addition, if you hire software writers to make a computer program, they will have to give it to you with certain rights and conditions. Because of this, it's also called customized application software or software that's been made just for you.
For example, the computer program or software used in the salon falls into this category.
3) Business Application Software
Business application software is a type of application software that helps companies with a lot of different tasks. Businesses can make their processes more accurate and efficient by using these apps. In addition, the software application makes sure that systems and programs are safe while they are running.
These days, businesses use a lot of business apps. Here are a few of them:
Software for managing projects, such as Slack, Asana, and Basecamp
Buffer, HootSuite, and Zoom are examples of communications application software.
ERP Application Software, including Odoo, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Application Software for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) like Mailchimp, Zoho, and NetSuite
Databases like MongoDB, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL
Software for schools like Skill Lake, Google Classroom, and Litmos
Software for managing human resources (HRMS) like BambooHR and Gusto HR
Benefits of Using Application Software
Many businesses are spending money to make application software that works specifically with their business. After companies develop custom application software, they can take advantage of the following benefits:
Better experience for users
With custom application software, businesses can improve customer service to meet their needs. Also, if your computer program is connected to CRM, you can get up-to-date customer information, which will help you quickly answer their questions.
Enhanced Flexibility
One of the best things about application software is that it lets you put information from different sources in one place. Getting data from different sources will take less time and go more smoothly as you make a report.
Better Work Productivity
Applications let people make the most of their time and get more done simultaneously.
Take this example, If your business uses an RPA app, it will help you eliminate boring chores like answering emails and checking payroll data against the rules, which will save you a lot of time.
Power to make decisions
As we already said, you will get information from many different sources in one place. This will help you make a quick choice. You can also monitor the data, look at how well it's doing, guess what trends will happen, and plan your tasks ahead of time. Customized application software will take some of the pressure off of you.
Conclusion
In the digital age, application software helps users’ complete tasks on their computers and mobile devices quickly and easily. Application software covers almost every need and interest, from productivity tools and educational platforms to entertainment apps and more. Understanding the examples and categories shows how important these apps are in personal and professional life. As technology advances, application software will become more capable and functional, promising new answers to common problems. Individuals and businesses should study and use new application software to maximize their digital potential in this ever-changing landscape.

I don’t know if this is good or bad, but it’s 5:25AM on 15 Oct 2023 and you’re probably in bed with your boyfriend after your coming out and I’m not coming apart. I did the following, which looped: I compressed my thoughts so my reaction to this was contained within the prior step, which links expectations, meaning they segment the space which I see between you and the image of you which generates within me based on the quality of the math. To explain, I walked outside, said I don’t feel any stimulation and it’s already 5AM so maybe this is over, sat in a chair for a minute or two, came inside, said the same thing, started to think I should look at what generates the Monster Group again, sat down and immediately noticed these images represent Triangular and SBE3.
Tumblr media
I hope I can put this in words. It will be disorganized. Note in the 2nd image, that adding e3 is something important in SBE3: the shift from counting from a corner, which is the is the a, b, c, d progression to the center of the SBE3, which is then e. In other words, this is attachment over SBE3 which also draws to the center of SBE3. This feels correct, so I’ll continue.
We’re looking at a being the current grid square, meaning it is SBE2 located since a is an involution, meaning the inverse relationship which clearly draws a grid square to and from its Bip existence. Can’t even say point because an End is manifestation of existence potential contained in that End and thus at the Bip. I’m trying to say the clear sentence in my head: grid squares are these involutions with alphabetic labels because the underlying concept that they are the involutions is SBE2, which is necessary to draw a grid square in the construction of reality, of this physical, tangible existence.
Note the super hidden 13 is then an actual grid square you can see added at the bottom of the second image. Now mentally think of a as sitting above or below a bT described at each level getting wider to the e level. A Triangular pyramid.
This means this form of counting, SBE3 level by level in Triangular establishing from an origin a to the containing e level, is inherent to counting the largest sporadic simple group, meaning that big 1 of gs process is made using SBE2 in the involutions that generate grid squares and SBE3 to enclose and identify each grid square within both Triangular and the most expansive vision of base10 I’ve seen yet. It’s pyramidal! That is, because a bT has 3fD associated, then this is SBE3+1 Attachment running from one of those choices to one of those choices.
This seems to work but I need to make sure it actually reflects to the center of SBE3. So we have b, c, and d, so take out the old drawing of a gs, with an SBE3 Attached at the corner, which is the ideal tangential of D4, meaning it can wobble to either side, so it’s full quadrants but we isolate the a and the SBE3. This leaves the e, which you can stick on the Ends in xK, yK, and szK. That then reflects to the center because we’re mapping that pyramid on to grid squares and the grid square count shifts from that corner attached gs to the center of the SBE3, which is labeled c. That’s a count by 2, and that links the current state a to the future state c and also the past state a to the current state c. That means we count a to c to e.
Popped into my head that’s a minor 3rd and a major 3rd to make the other form of a 5th, the one that’s relatively minor to major 5th at c e and thus g. If you think of the major 3rd as factoring the octave, then a-c-e would be Not Is and the other form would be Is Not. That describes a 5th about as well as I could hope. So raising the subject of music as someting delicious in your future is bringing me the desired understanding of music itself. And as I type that, I find myself in a very fast loop, feels like sending and receiving almost simultaneously, in which I see you finding different levels of serious forms that you manipulate into the specific genre, into the specific level of seriousness of that form, ranging from silly to the most intellectual, from raw emotional to entirely abstract, with that being the promise I make to you, with that being what I offer specifically for your satisfaction, so that satisfaction reaches ever deeper into your essential being.
Oh, how I had to resist spoiling that sentence by saying so that unites across all layers of your constructed Thing. And you can see that in these images as well because, well first, think of the scale at which this occurs: involutions are permutations and this is over the Monster Group’s order.
There’s almost too much to say here. Look at the pyramid and at the e level. It maps to an Attachment of CM16, meaning 2T in IC and thus in quadrants. That second T is where? It could be along any of the 3 axes counting away from the Attachment End. So that locates to the Bip gs and to the Bip within the Bip gs. And that maps to a pyramid that has a mirror image constructed out of the e layer. How? This is crucial, so don’t blow it.
Using the ancient Egyptians to get a metaphor, the underground base of the hidden level below, the foundation, oh this is where the foundation stone idea comes from. So what you’re saying is that Judaism is actually related to an old form of ancient Egyptian worship because the core idea of the water entering the world is also the control of that water through social organization to reap its benefits. There’s a lot of potential in that observation because the metaphor is exactly the same: the inversion of a point which makes a doorway, like the doorway to the other world, which draws at the eternal level as Triangular and at the mortal, constructed layer in grid squares, so the pyramids shift from 3 to 4 sides. And the metaphor is in that switch is you and everything else, because the pure representation of the 4 sides sets the limit on one End while the pure representation of the 3 sides sets the other End. And you then are a and how you invert into e seals your Eternal fate.
Hope you’ve been a good boy in there, she sighs.
Okay. Let’s keep it moving. Miles to go.
So, the map is a to e as an identity in Triangular and gs that maps to c because c counts by 2 along szK. That is Halving. And it’s counting by IC. I keep forgetting to get into mechanics for this e layer. Maybe I can’t figure them out. Let’s at least try. Come on, don’t get tired. It’s only 6:30. You can go to bed soon. And remember: you’ve used the generation of math as the test to constrain interpretation to within, which means not going hyperbolic. Isn’t that what would happen if we start to treat Alternation as an ideal so we can monkey with it as it runs? That is, counting by primes but skipping some does what? Does it cause a shortfall? How about counting more of one step? If it’s to the negative, you get one result. To the positive, another. You can imagine the line around the circle overlapping or running out short of the tape, like in a race, and you’re measuring from either first or last (or somewhere between). Oh, I see hyperbolic lurking in records, including personal records, because that ideal is likely pretty far removed from where you are, especially if you consider anything beyond some limited set of developed skills. The form of hyperbolic depends on what is related because that maps the distance in multiple ways and one of those ways is how that fits as parabolas, meaning how far off from ideal connection.
Not sure where that goes but it clearly affects the tangential Attachment. That is, assume a parabolic relationship, then the tangent if brought together, so a line drawn focus to focus, has a specific characteristic of some sort which identifies that relationship. I’m literally scratching my head because it gets complicated in just D2 projections and really hard to put into words when we allow rotation of either or both around that connecting segment. Note that D2 projection now makes much more sense: the D2 presentation is of a 1-0Segment with flailing arms at either or both or neither End. So every time we can draw a connection from End to End, no matter how many stops along the way, then we get a 1-0Segment in D2. That doesn’t mean the relationship works in gs.
I’m not sure what just happened. I think the idea is that we can have sheets covered with drawings that aren’t gs or Triangular sheets. In other words, drawing regular stuff is drawing within a gs sheet, and can be broken down to all the inversions, symmetries, etc. in a drawing and thus at least some of the forms behind those, as those connect in ideals which appear for each particular piece. That degree is essential, because you can’t have stuff respond erratically. Like a rock is a rock with specific characteristics that change according to rules we know or can at least figure well.

tumblr's formatting is a pain but posting this excerpt from a thread with someone who's trying to make use of my (old, bad, but working) guild wars 2 optimization code
my problem with, like. life in general. is that, you know, these problems are interesting to talk about and potentially maybe solve. but like. you can only do one thing if you spend this much time on the thing, or even on talking about how the thing could maybe be done with an immense time investment
me:
some difficulty initially did come from—let's do another simple example: viper or sinister, bursting or smoldering. the optimizer used to start at "all viper" and end at "all sinister," which meant that you would see all bursting builds in the beginning and all smoldering at the end. this both made a theoretical heuristic removing options that did not wind up anywhere close to the top n not work, and from a practical user perspective made you need to wait a long time to feel like you knew roughly the right build
I changed it to start with, in this case, viper-sinister-viper-sinister-viper-sinister etc, and it changes one gear piece per run. this relatively quickly covers most of the possibility space for gear, which means that after the first few seconds in many cases, you see the sigils and runes become relatively static; at that point pruning every non-viable sigil and rune feels reasonable
but when you enable many options, like 4-5 affixes, a) getting to the point where every rune/sigil combo has filled much of the probability space can take a while (minutes+), and b) sometimes the optimal build really is fairly unique, particularly if you have something like a minimum boon duration set
if you do concentration or bursting; ritualist or viper or [options here] with a minimum boon duration that winds up being all ritualist, until you actually run 100% ritualist, busting sigil will never show up on the top n list because every single other build requires concentration (but you do not want to cut it off, as it's actually the optimal build)
these problems should all be solvable, I'm fairly certain, at least to a degree, but I didn't put that much work into experimenting with better algorithms because keeping up with patches to keep the current system working took/takes so long lol
so anyway tl;dr I didn't figure out an obvious way to make it fast enough that you could just enable the entire list of potentially relevant options
(the other person I'm working with):
true
we need some pog A* then for sure
when you getting to it
me:
my main idea for a speedup was: every combination of gear is some percentage affix a, some percentage affix b, some percentage affix c, etc. rather than using the actual permutations of the affix options, find the optimal percentage of each affix for any given combination of runes and sigils. this should be very easy computationally; I think it's just gradient descent
then, find a way to enumerate every combination of gear that is within n% of the optimal mix, and exhaustively calculate damage for every one
I'm pretty sure it would work, but I don't have the math background to code gradient descent on an n-dimensional space, I don't have an obvious idea about how to enumerate combinations close to a certain mixture (math again), and most importantly, gw2 equipment items don't actually match up that closely with "a backpack is 1.2% of your stats so add 1.2% of full viper" and I don't know if that would be enough to screw it up
but if someone with the math and coding background wanted to try it, I would love to know if it works lol
anyway all of that aside, I think one of the gear optimizer's primary assets is its UI for selecting options, given that we do at least currently need to only select relevant ones, and I don't know if that's worth taking advantage of or if there's a good enough way to do it as just a server app

Math Qt2 Project
In which i revive this old blog for the purposes of fulfilling my quarter 2 project for math 6.
(a) How would you describe your Math 6 second quarter learning journey?
My math 6 learning journey can only be described as turbulent, while I would initially understand certain topics as it gets more complex the less likely I am to follow. While I do find math interesting I find myself struggling to retain a lot of information at times, leading to a lot of difficulty through my math journey. Surprisingly this quarter I scored quite well on the first LT, however I cannot say I am as confident for the second.
(b) Which topic did you find most enjoyable? What made it enjoyable for you? Provide clear images of solutions to sample problems or exercises on the topic.
Integration of algebraic functions by trigonometric substitution was one of the topics that comes to mind. How it often comes together as terms are substituted and flipped around to cancel each other forming a much more simple and easy to solve problem. It feels as though it sort of reflects my thought process around problems sometimes, often taking a rather roundabout solution, substituting terms, and creating a seemingly more complicated process but one that, if familiar with, can be navigated easier, often ending up distilled into a simpler form.
Tumblr media
 (c) Which topic did you find most challenging? What made it challenging for you? Provide clear images of solutions to sample problems or exercises on the topic.
Integration of Rational Functions Using Partial Fractions. While trigonometry shall always give me difficulty, partial fractions in particular caused a bit of a problem especially during the second quarterly test wherein a problem relating to partial fractions appeared however I was not able to solve it due to a lack of mastery of the subject matter as it was a problem that I’ve never encountered before.
Tumblr media
 (d) What concepts did you find easy to learn? What do you think made them easy for you?
Integration by substitution. I find the substitution part interesting. Its sort of like focusing on a bigger picture before focusing on to smaller details, which can make a complex problem look simple. However, it comes with its own challenges as well which makes it all the more interesting to tackle especially in terms of its versatility as it can be used multiple times to solve a problem. Distillation as a problem-solving method is always interesting.
 (e) What concepts did you find most interesting/ inspiring? Why do you think so?
Integration of Algebraic Functions Yielding Inverse Trigonometric Functions. Maybe it was because I was not present for one of the meetings wherein this was discussed and that’s why it alludes me. However I do really find the concept interesting. As well as the patterns that can be found within it.
(f) What concepts have you mastered the most? Why do you think so? Provide clear images of solutions to sample problems or exercises on the topic.
Integration by Substitution, it is one of the core concepts that needed to be mastered in this quarter of math6 and the concept forms the guidelines for a lot of the concepts this quarter.
Tumblr media
g) What concepts have you mastered the least? Why do you think so? Provide clear images of solutions to sample problems or exercises on the topic.
Trigonometric integrals. The amount of memorization should prove a challenge on top of the given difficulty of trigonometry.x
Tumblr media
(h) What quick notes do you have for:
i. your teacher.
Thank you for your patience in instruction, I hope we can have more hands on and productive learning done together.
 ii. your classmates:
Thank you to all my classmates and peers who have helped me get further in my journey.
 iii. yourself
To do better next time, learn form your mistakes and to not put off practice.

Nonliner relason sip definition math
Tumblr media
Using a term like nonlinear science is like referring to the bulk of zoology as the study of non-elephant animals. Some authors use the term nonlinear science for the study of nonlinear systems. This nonlinearity is one of the reasons why accurate long-term forecasts are impossible with current technology. For example, some aspects of the weather are seen to be chaotic, where simple changes in one part of the system produce complex effects throughout. Although such chaotic behavior may resemble random behavior, it is in fact not random. It follows that some aspects of the dynamic behavior of a nonlinear system can appear to be counterintuitive, unpredictable or even chaotic. This works well up to some accuracy and some range for the input values, but some interesting phenomena such as solitons, chaos, and singularities are hidden by linearization. In particular, a differential equation is linear if it is linear in terms of the unknown function and its derivatives, even if nonlinear in terms of the other variables appearing in it.Īs nonlinear dynamical equations are difficult to solve, nonlinear systems are commonly approximated by linear equations (linearization). Bid error is a mathematical mistake by the prime contractor in the unit. Systems can be defined as nonlinear, regardless of whether known linear functions appear in the equations. The Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) definition is a fund used to. In other words, in a nonlinear system of equations, the equation(s) to be solved cannot be written as a linear combination of the unknown variables or functions that appear in them. necessary and effective means of augmenting the classroom learning experience. Typically, the behavior of a nonlinear system is described in mathematics by a nonlinear system of equations, which is a set of simultaneous equations in which the unknowns (or the unknown functions in the case of differential equations) appear as variables of a polynomial of degree higher than one or in the argument of a function which is not a polynomial of degree one. Mathematics: Must take one credit of Math each year and must take at. Where x and y are the variables and a,b and c. The general form of nonlinear equations is, ax2 + by2 c. Where x and y are the variables, m is the slope of the line and c is a constant value. The general form of linear equation is, y mx +c. A nonlinear equation forms a curve on the graph. Nonlinear dynamical systems, describing changes in variables over time, may appear chaotic, unpredictable, or counterintuitive, contrasting with much simpler linear systems. A linear equation forms a straight line on the graph. Nonlinear problems are of interest to engineers, biologists, physicists, mathematicians, and many other scientists because most systems are inherently nonlinear in nature. In mathematics and science, a nonlinear system is a system in which the change of the output is not proportional to the change of the input.

Distance Formula – Examples With Applications
What do we mean by the term distance? Distance is the space between two spots, items, or things. In mathematical terms, distance is the line between two focuses, two planes, a point, and a plane, and two planes. However, for what reason must one know the distance equation? All things considered, the distance formula helps develop new structures, track down areas, course new routes in rising cases, and considerably more. Hence, it is important to figure out how to track down the distance between two focuses in both three and two aspects. Then, at that point, what is the distance equation? We should figure it out!
Distance between two focuses formula in 2D
The distance formula utilized overall is the Euclidean distance equation, determined by Euclid's popular mathematician. Think about two focuses (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) in the two-aspect, then, at that point, the distance between these two focuses is given by,
d = √[(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²]
Do you have at least some idea how this distance equation has been determined? This distance formula has been gotten from the Pythagorean hypothesis. Think about a right-calculated triangle with sides AB and AC and BC be the hypotenuse of the triangle. Then, at that point, as per the Pythagorean hypothesis,
BC2 = AB2 + AC2
d2 = (x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²
Taking square root on both the sides, we get,
d = √[(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²], which is the expected distance between two focuses formula in two aspects.
Distance equation between two focuses in 3D
Do you have any idea about that we can likewise sort out the distance between two focuses involving the distance equation in the three aspects? Consider two focuses having arranges (x1, y1, z1) and (x2, y2, z2). Then, at that point, as per the equation, the distance is given by,
d = √[(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²+(z2-z1)²]
Nonetheless, the directions can increment as the aspects increment, i.e., in four-aspect, the quantity of directions will be four, etc.
Distance equation from a highlight a line in 2D
In the two-layered world, one can work out the distance between a point (x1, y1) and a line hatchet + by + c = 0 utilizing the distance equation math. The distance between a point and a line is the opposite distance between them. Subsequently, the distance is given by,
d = |ax1+by1+c|/√a²+b²
Distance equation from a highlight a line in 3D
Finding distance in the three-layered world is difficult. To comprehend the distance formula math, one priority an exhaustive information on the idea. Also, the distance equation material science is very simple to get a handle on once seen completely. Consider a line whose condition is signified by x-x1/a=y-y1/b=z-z1/c and a point with organizes P (xo, yo, zo). Then the distance equation between these is given by,
d = |PQ x s|/|s| , where
P has the directions (xo, yo, zo) and is a point from which distance should be determined through the line.
Q has the directions (x1, y1, z1) on the line whose condition is = x-x1/a=y-y1/b=z-z1/c .
PQ = (x1 - x0, y1 - y0, z1 - z0)
s = <a, b, c> is the heading vector for the line = x-x1/a=y-y1/b=z-z1/c.
The cross item PQ x s is of s and PQ.
Distance formula between two equal lines
When do we say two lines are lined up with one another? Two lines are equal when their slants are something similar or are in a similar proportion. For instance, line 1 is given by 4x + 5y + 8 = 0 and line 2 is given by 4x + 5y + 24 = 0. These two lines are equal in light of the fact that their slants are in a similar proportion. The incline for line 1 is 8, and the slant for line 2 is 24.
Then, at that point, what is the distance equation between two equal lines? The distance between two equal lines is given by,
d = |C1-C2|/√A²+B²
Here, C1 and C2 are the inclines for lines 1 and 2, and An and B are the coefficients of x and y, individually.

HOW did vicious baby, (aka Meng Yao), and Tall Daddy, (aka Lan Xichen), actually meet??
Okay I’m really curious to hear everyone’s take on this because I just watched the donghua and listened to the audio drama and each way is a little different!
And BECAUSE each way is a little different each way could have many different interpretations and implications for the way I see Meng Yao and Xichen’s relationship.
Exhibit A: The Live Action Version aka Love at First Pinky Stroke OR Is it Actually Just More of Meng Yao’s Conniving Ways?
So in the live action Vicious Baby and Tall Daddy meet after Tall Daddy very ala Jane Austin rescues Meng Yao from the nasty social comments of some random hoes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meng Yao seems both genuinely grateful and genuinely smitten at Xichen’s chivalry...
Tumblr media
Whereas soon as Xichen sees him smile he literally makes this face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Poor Daddy Lan Legs is literally struck dumb by the sight of Meng Yao peering up at him all doe-eyed from beneath his dark lashes. But alas Meng Yao puts the kabash on any possible romantic entanglements much to the audience’s disappointment. Meng Yao is after all, at this point in the show, a taken bottom and his loyalty to Nie Mengjue seems sincere.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the very least the face he makes when looking at him in this scene shows that he and Nie Boss Daddy are definitely fucking and Meng Yao is definitely into it.
Tumblr media
Too bad for ol’ Xichen who immediately compensates by trying to vicariously live a romantic life by becoming way too invested in his younger brother’s.
Then Meng Yao fucks up in front of Mingjue, compensates by getting stabbed for him...
Tumblr media
---- BUT knows he’s still on the hook when he hears this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So here’s my thinking: if this is the real way they met it seems obvious there was some sort of attraction. Therefore, when Meng Yao hears about the burning of Cloud Recesses, he must be genuinely concerned and wanting to help Xichen.
That’s what I WANT to believe. OR is Meng Yao just already doing the math in his head and figures he might be banished and thinks that if he’s gonna have a rebound it might as well be a rich, powerful, hot and kind one. What is it they say about sociopaths again? How they’re always able to single out the kind people?
I don’t know. Thoughts anyone?
Exhibit B: The Audio Drama aka Xichen is Adorable Helpless Rich Boy and Meng Yao is the Girl Next Door
In a cute extra in the audio drama we see an overly eager Xichen trying hard to pull his weight at the (inn? whorehouse? Meng Yao’s house?) by doing a set of laundry which he proceeds to accidentally tear to shreds. Meng Yao shoes Xichen away from the clothes before Xichen can create more sewing work for him. Xichn laments being a helpless, rich boy who doesn’t know his own strength, expressing regret that now Meng Yao has twice the work on his hands having to care for the both of them.
Meng Yao however tuts this away, saying he’s used to doing chores. He finds Xichen’s fumbling endearing. However, as he leans over to scrub Xichen’s robes he notices the distinct pattern of the Gusu Lan clan.
First off, WHAT THE HELL XICHEN?? You’d think the leader of the Lan clan would be a little brighter than this and think to hide his clan robes when he’s on the FREAKING run from the Wen clan.
Meng Yao however, doesn’t call him out but does gently hints that he should keep the robes out of sight.
Meng Yao: These patterns...
Xichen: Hm?
Meng Yao: Nothing! I just think they’re pretty...um young master, these robes are important aren’t they?
Xichen: Yeah I suppose so! ^__^
Meng Yao: Then it would probably be a good idea to keep them stored safe somewhere right?
Xichen: ^___^
Meng Yao: Like out of sight....
Xichen: ^___^
Meng Yao: Away from prying eyes....?
Xichen: ^____^
Meng Yao: Hide your f**king robes you beautiful simple man!
The whole scene ends with an adorable exchange as Xichen stubbornly gives laundry one last try and fail and Meng Yao gently and playfully teases him for it.
Okay so if this is the true way they met then once more there is evidence that there was a genuine attraction between them at first and one without any of Meng Yao’s schemes! He truly hadn’t known who Xichen was before deciding to help him.
This is another version I want to believe.
Exhibit C: The Manghua Version aka Xichen: Meng Yao Would Take a Bullet For Me I Swea---no, no, stop shaking your head Wangji
So this version is the most questionable because its told from Xichen’s POV and he’s biased because he really BELIEVES in Meng Yao.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We know Meng Yao rescued Xichen, that much is true.
Tumblr media
But Xichen claims Meng Yao rescued him only out of the goodness of his heart without knowing who he was. That he did it because he despised the tyranny of the Wen clan.
Okay so does that sound a little hollow to anyone else’s ears or is it just me? First off, when has Meng Yao ever just done something out of “the goodness of his heart?” That boy is a calculating bitch!
Tumblr media
Second off, Meng Yao is clever enough to most likely at least know the way Gusu Lan cultivators dressed. Even if he didn’t recognize Xichen as the clan leader he’d still be smart enough to know that having a connection with any member of the Lan clan might benefit him in the future.  Also when do we EVER hear Meng Yao criticize the Wens?? Not once!
I feel like this version makes Meng Yao out to be more sus especially since we see Xichen talking him up later on to Nie Mingjue. This makes Xichen and Meng Yao’s relationship out to be a lot faker than the others as its not a far leap to think that Meng Yao decides to rescue Xichen to gain his favor, only pretending to not know who he was.
It would fall in line with other bit of the show such as when Meng Yao COMPLETELY manipulates Xichen’s emotions by giving him back the Lan Jade talisman.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I actually don’t hate this because I think that the donghua is definitely making Meng Yao out to be a lot scarier and evil and I kind of still dig that.
Exhibit D: The Novel aka I actually don’t really remember this one...
Tumblr media
I don’t remember this one guys. I don’t think we ever actually see it do we? Like don’t we just hear Xichen say that Meng Yao helped hide him when the Wen’s were after him? But we don’t know exactly how they ran into each other or wether they had known each other before or anything?
Again. IDK.
Anywho, I’d love to hear people’s take. I do confess I was not in my right mind while writing this post and I apologize for my midnight ramblings. Peace Amigos.

What finally drives Rogue!ZYX to making a run for it: a)WWX following her around with laser focus b) LWJ chugging that vinegar and trailing after WWX c) LQR scowling at her because she reminds him of CSSR bc ZYX is equally weird, if in a different way d)no tofu pudding e)Homework
it's never something simple with zyx, unfortunately.
let's discuss each of your posited points, but in a chronological order:
(for everything - only if genders are allowed to mix at the cloud recesses audits. let's say they are, and for the purposes of visual media it was just a time saver to animate/illustrate/act the relevant disciples only)
c) lqr, instead of beefing w/ wwx in the lecture, grills rogue!zyx. but this is 100% something that any zyx cannot stand: trivia. knowledge that is pure fact but in a way that is of little relevance to matters of importance. think about all the questions that lqr asked wwx: they deal with other sects, history, etiquette - but the first real cultivation question was about the executioner. and even that, he expected a rote answer.
(this is me and my total antipathy for fanboying in aerospace - i was nearly scared off from my field bc i didn't know what fucking airplane or what fucking mission or whatever the fuck ppl talked about and gushed about. it's all trivia. i was in it for the physics and the math.
but i also understand now that to discuss a field properly, there is need to understand its 'culture' and background context. just... not to the fucking extent of memorizing the entire timeline just to show off you know this thing when clearly, you only know it at the most shallow level that is of zero utility -)
(okay no more academic salt from verm)
so lqr asks his questions. the auditors expect to be impressed by the famed bssr's disciple.
she doesn't know a single answer.
it becomes a disastrous blend of lqr's indignance at this... rogue disrespecting their traditions and sects, zyx getting annoyed at the type of questions and getting double annoyed she isn't able to answer these dumbass questions and now ppl thinks she's stupid, no one in jianghu able to stop gossiping within earshot of anyone, wwx feeling bad for their shigu (of sorts) and trying to rescue her by interjecting and getting btfo for it (also gaining zyx's petty ill-will bc she's embarrassed she had to be rescued)...
when lqr finally asks the executioner question, wwx tries one more attempt at deflecting the verbal fire by answering with resentful energy, lwj is judge-y as fuck (even moreso at this... charlatan of a cultivator that barely knew the basics, getting by on reputation only), lqr not shooing anyone out but instead gets so mad he starts a verbal teardown in front of the whole lecture hall -
and they all forget that for whatever reputation that rogue!zyx developed as bssr's 'bamboo fairy' disciple, she was all on her own before they even heard of her. she isn't stupid.
so all the shit she said to wwx in dbd, ch11 in the library? imagine the derision at the lack of nuance, the assumptions, the brute force, the inelegant manner in which all canon parties handled that hypothetical. and that derision comes out uncensored, out loud, in public, in the most bitchy-yet-formal manner that rogue!zyx can muster. it harkens back to when she had to deal with the dumbest 'gotcha!' questions at a conference, someone looking to trip up a poor, underpaid graduate student and she's had plenty of experience stopping those ego trips.
she answers lqr in general. rips apart both lwj and wwx's answers. destroys the other auditors' assumptions on what it means to actually know cultivation and have more than two working braincells that rub together to produce body heat.
after the first day...
lqr: furious, and more furious for the reluctant respect that rogue!zyx managed to dredge out of him. an academic can recognize a fellow academic
lwj: pissed off at the blatant disrespect and disregard for proper cultivation, someone playing fast and loose with their traditions (instilled due to the inherent dangers of cultivating, let alone improperly), the fact that the boy he found himself head-over-heels for had his attention stolen away in a single moment
wwx: he doesn't get pissed off so easily, and he's the type to learn with multiple shocks of the electric fence. someone reaming him out doesn't scare him away, and in such a manner and on such a subject? he's hooked. he has to talk to her, he has to gain her respect (no romantic/lust crush on rogue!zyx in this au, but definitely a huge brain-crush)
a) rogue!zyx has less to prove in this au. so her metaphorical clenched buttcheeks are less tense, and she's more willing to engage and discuss things w/ wwx. but only if he pisses her off enough to talk.
bc HOT DAMN he's fucking annoying. and endearing. he... he reminds her so much of one of her best friends pre-death, this friendship that only started once both of them saw past the original misconceptions that they held of each other. this friend was also fucking brilliant, ran his mouth off without stopping, had great and ridiculous humor, was the best workout buddy... and fuck, she just missed everyone. it was easy to let go on the mountain, where everything was so fucking placid and unchanging that it felt like nothing mattered.
but wwx was like an explosion of color. sometimes, it hurt rogue!zyx's lizard eyes to look at something so bright.
b) lwj is less likely to engage rogue!zyx. she's not a musician, she doesn't care for the arts, she's basically an unwashed slob on her regular days and a passable young milkmaid on her best days - young lwj would be nowhere near someone of her... everything.
she can feel judgment, though - and like how in dbd she's super prickly towards wwx for his initial flash judgment of her, rogue!zyx wants nothing to do with lwj.
'god, it's one thing to read and feel sorry for him - it's another to deal with him actually being a huge dickbag!'
(lwj's looks are 10000% her type, and she fucking hates herself for not being able to help but steal glances at him. forces herself to never make eye contact, pretends his facial features are just a blank slab with a henohenomoheji on it, the fucking works)
(somehow makes friends with su she because of her antipathy/hate-boner towards young!lwj)
d) they have tofu in the cloud recesses. definitely a thing made fresh. and then... you just take some juiced sugar cane + ginger + pandan (unless pandan doesn't get traded up from SEA, then some fragrant flower for flavoring), boil it into a syrup, and pour it on your tofu.
OMFG use the snow during winter to cool it. BAM tofu pudding.
rogue!zyx runs an illicit tofu pudding stall from her dormroom, after dark.
e) rogue!zyx hasn't done homework since she was... uh... 25, pre-death? 26? anyways, being beholden to an assignment is aggravating, but a part of her has always thrived under some structure and direction. without such, she does get indolent.
(it's the very-probable-adhd, ok)
but her tolerance for dumb busywork has dropped. in the beginning, she welcomed the easy dopamine from the bullshit assignments. more trivia. more dumbass, cookie-cutter answers.
and then... she gets bored. a bored zyx is one that escapes to another plane of existence. astral projection if she can't physically leave. her lecture performance drops, her assignment grades drop. her handwriting starts to completely lack effort.
lqr, thinking that he was getting through to this difficult student, is incensed at the slippage. he starts another tirade in lecture, "what are you doing here if you do not respect what you are learning?!"
yeah... what is she doing here?? her last experiences with schooling were the complete anarchy of college. she literally can walk out of any lecture that she doesn't fucking have to take.
"i don't know" and she just gets up from her desk, and walks out of the cloud recesses.
