Just wanted to let you know that I'm always so impressed by your JATP gifs. There's only so little content, yet you keep making these amazing gifs. As a person who was pretty late to the JATP party, I only heard stories about how huge this Fandom once was. So it must be extremely hard and frustrating trying to produce new gifs from the sparse source material for a Fandom that's getting less active by the minute. So I'm just so happy and grateful to see that there are still people like you here cherishing this little ghost show and creating new art.

i wasn't around for the first few months of the fandom either but i still experienced those hopeful months before the cancellation and i still miss these days a little bit tbh. all the crazy (and often times much too specific) theme weeks, the appreciation weeks (jukebox week my beloved), the speculations for season 2—it was something else and so needed after some really stressful and trying years. i love the little renaissance of activity the polls gave us. as a gifmaker though it's more often than not a mix of delight (because hey! new idea!) and crippling self-doubt (because hey! no notes!).

so i'm really thankful for this message and again realising that some people are still here, liking the stuff i come up with. it just means the world to me and i'm trying not to cry again.

4: What are your favorite types of fanworks to make?

The thing I do the most(and am probably the best at) is writing fanfics, mostly one shots and stuff cause I have a short attention span, lol! But I also love drawing when I have the time and ideas for it. It's so fun and occasionally turns out pretty!

6: What has been one of your favorite fandom experiences?

Okay, there's so many, but one thing that has been really special for me is that, pretty soon after I got into reading fics on AO3, I started betaing a long fic for @michelangelinden. It's called Between Chaos and Contentment(and a Little Creativity), and just... getting the chapters early and editing and screaming about them with him and just... the whole thing has been absolutely amazing!!! I love them and that fic so much!!! (everyone should go read it!)

8: Who are three fanwork creators (fic writers, gifmakers, artists, meta writers, etc.) that you love seeing on your dash?

Okay, these are in no particular order. First one has to be @latinposeidon. The headcanons and all the fun stuff he posts is amazing! @wr0temyway0ut is another lovely one that I love seeing around! His SMAUs my beloved!!! Last one I'll put here is @lyxchen! Her art is so pretty!!!! I love it so much!

Answered here! But also I have more so... One of yours that cracks me up every time is When the Moon Hits Your Eye Like a Big Pizza Pie, that's a Werewolf. Luke as a werewolf and just... doing weird stuff! I love it, it(and the whole series) makes me laugh every single time!

Yes. Tons. I have a whole list in my head of Willex cuddle fics I go read when I'm feeling depresso. I am a chronic rewatcher/reader/listener. Everything I recommend in here or any other ask is probably something I've read at least three times. Well here's one from the list... Just Let Me Adore You by @julies-butterflies! So cute and soft, I love them so much!

Oh. Um. Well, I don't think anyone should have to read any of my stuff, cause I don't think it's very good. I guess if I have to send you to any of mine, it would probably be You Are My Getaway. It's a cute little Willex fic that I wrote for Michelangelinden(tagged above on a previous question), and I think it turned out pretty cute!

How many works did you make this year? Fics (posted on ao3 or tumblr or wherever), edits, gifsets, moodboards, playlists, fanart, vids, meta?

6 fics on Ao3, 66 gifsets, 5 video edits, and 4 tumblr fics. Probably a bunch of drabbles but i lost count 😅

What are you most proud of?

codominance., my scott & stiles magnum opus, and this sceo set.

Any stats you wanna tell us about?

At 18.3k, codominance. is my longest ever oneshot!

What inspired you this year? Any specific works or creators?

@spikeface. their ability to build character-specific backstories and interests, grounded by what we see in canon, is absolutely phenomenal and their prose makes me screeeeeeeech. Plus their attention to theme makes me 😱 at all times. And then alongside that, they’re incredibly thoughtful and kind on a personal level, and the energy they put into making community a more welcoming place is amazing. 

@seek--rest. seek is literally so incredible we had to make a month of fics for her and it was STILL not enough. seek’s devotion to making fandom a better place for everyone, while still taking time for herself, is something I really admire and aspire to follow. i love love love how she tackles grief and other heavy emotions in her fics while still being about love 💜 and her ability to produce content always leaves me in awe. 

What’s a piece you didn’t expect to make? Why?

Ironically, codominance. and all of my sceo sets 😅 codominance. started on a whim with me rewriting a piece of dialogue from the scott & stiles conversation at the gas station (which, also ironically, i didn’t even wind up using) that turned into this Massive Sprawling Thing, and then @spikeface dragged me into having sceo thoughts.

What are you excited to work on next year?

Scottuary! Finishing several half done fics. Maybe a longfic. ✨Gifs✨

ahhh it’s so late but i can’t just not join in on the fandom love cause it’s been a full year of this show being out!! which is just wild to me cause i found it only a few months ago (some time in early may i think??) my friend and i randomly let netflix pick a show for us (we skipped a bunch) only for my mom to start talking to us and stopped me from skipping again. i was hooked from the start but without that by chance moment i wouldnt have even known about let alone watched it, leading to me sharing a fandom space with some of the most creative and sweetest people i’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with (no matter how brief its been overall lovely) and its great that for the one year we’re expressing our thankfulness to the show and each other

@sluttycalebcovington my beloved first jatp fandom friend! what wonderful things can i say now that i haven’t already personally mentioned to you before? i love hearing about your AUs and i think it’s so fun going back and forth on ideas with you. i’ve never clicked so quickly and easily with someone online before and it’s been a real treasure DMing you
