Welcome To Me Account

I am not new to Tumblr, just made a separate account for posting fanfic or other things like that.

I do take requests, only a few rules:

I will never write smut, no matter how good the request is I won't.

I mainly will write friendship ones but if I like the request or am really bored I will do romance. (If you want romantic implied that's cool I just don't like writing the ones with make out scenes)

I don't do ones about suicide, eating disorders, or self harm as the MAIN plot. I don't have experience with any of those and I don't like writing stuff like that, if you want it as a background plot I am okay with that (not suicide for either character though, suicide is a no)

I will not write abuse things (in the sense of the boys abusing the reader or the reader abusing them, if you want either to have previous experience with that as character building, but they can't abuse, either physical or emotional, each other in the story)

Things I do write:

I write for ships between the boys, previous rules apply (No huge make out scenes or smut)

Fluff, a lot of it.

AUs (Almost anything for these)

Canon

Changing some things about the boys (I don't mind it as long as you understand I am keeping most of their real personality) (Examples of what I mean by change: Writing the boys with medical conditions [physical or mental, I find both interesting and it's a fun excuse for research], if there's something about them that makes what you want hard [like in 5sos, Ashton is allergic to cats but in fanfic world he doesn't have to be]

Pretty much anything but if something I forgot to mention comes up that I won't do, respect that I won't do it.

Hey would you mind explaining the significance of Celine in nashwille pls?

I think Nashville was the first time Louis has worn Celine on stage for FITFWT. The distinctive styling at Nashville, and the fact that he wore all-black, seems to be a nod back to his stage attire for LTWT22.

Louis had worn a “A-Cold-Wall” polo in black for LTWT22 Nashville, referring both to Johnny Cash and his own album, Walls.

The reference to Johnny Cash was highlighted by Louis’ stylist, Helen Seamons.

This thread explains that Johnny Cash was known as the “Man In Black.” He wrote the song with this title (in the album of the same title) and first performed it at the Ryman Auditorium where Louis performed last year.

Cash’s song and costume symbolize his rebellion against a society that ignores marginalized people and outcasts:

Given the last verse of “The Man In Black,” it’s interesting to note that the Ryman is a converted church, and its stained glass windows provided an iconic setting for Louis to wear black, and perform Only The Brave last year.

Louis’ homage to Cash is moving both for the setting as well as for the exhortation to care for all people, especially the most vulnerable— a philosophy Louis has championed many times before.

“We got in the studio with Louis the first time we met him. We sat around playing music; we played him some tracks off THE GLOW and played him the demo of Cobracaine. He’s obviously got a really great ear for pop music – and music in general – and he was like ‘maybe you should get to the chorus quicker.’ Just a little comment like that really helped. I’ve loved your Dracula Daily drawings!

If you could cast any actor (living or dead) in your ideal version of Dracula, who would you choose for each role?

This is assuming a purely filmed adaptation, because let's be clear: the Re:Dracula squad have it down, and I would replace none of them.

DRACULA:

Don't fix what ain't broken. You can't go wrong with Christopher Lee as Dracula. But for this adaptation we're going with LOTR-era Christopher Lee. for the age and facial hair.

(Shout out also to an older Christopher Plummer. )

JONATHAN HARKER:

He's not the right age for book Johnny, but Dracula 2020's John Heffernan as Jonathan Harker is my Jonathan. I don't think it's any secret I have a soft spot for him, despite the shambles.

(Tbh he'd also make a great Van Helsing, based off of Abraham's description in the book)

MINA HARKER:

Lashana Lynch. Capable of both badassery and sweetness itself? Hell yes.

LUCY WESTERNRA:

I'm seeing Poldark-Era Eleanor Tomlinson as the closest to the Lucy I tried to design in my DD sketches.

(Also shout out to the Lucy @fiotrethewey and I saw the other day in Bram Stoker's Van Helsing. Weird Movie, great Lucy.

Charlie Bond. 10/10. Loved her.)

JACK SEWARD:

Biggest casting slip-up goes to 2020 Dracula for getting Sacha Dhawan and NOT HAVING HIM PLAY JACK SEWARD. LOOK at that man. Look at those SPECS.

(Special mention to a young Peter Cushing. Who would also crush it as our man Jack.)

ARTHUR HOLMWOOD:

Royce Pierreson. Without Question.

QUINCEY MORRIS:

Bram Stoker's Dracula did a 10/10 casting with Billy Campbell. Look at that tache'. Look at that hat. Yee Haw indeed.

Really, all the Coppola Suitors are excellent.

VAN HELSING:

The man, the myth, the legend. I may wildly dislike Bram Stoker's Dracula for its adaptational readings of the book, but damn if it didn't hit it with the character designs.
