but, you managed to pull will out of his slump

you were also staying in the hermes cabin, unclaimed as can be

you did catch it, crushing the grape between your teeth with a wide smile before holding your perfected manicured hand out to him

just pure self doubt, unsure if it would ever be you in that situation

from that day forwards, will was determined to never see you look like that again

naturally, you guys tried seeking out your godly parent through doing things to see what you were naturally good at but all the tests held no water

after a few weeks, you waved will off, arguing that you were fine and that the hermes cabin was nice

which was a blatant lie, as that place was so packed and you didn't even have a bed

but, as much as will tried to argue, you shot him down every time

then, one evening, you and will were sitting around the campfire, a burnt marshmallow hanging off your stick, but that's the way you preferred them

you were raving on and on about some son of ares before turning to will, a soft and slightly teasing smile on your lips

"what about you, any girls caught your eye?"

"yeah, i guess," will replied, half heartedly, slightly turning away

you watched him for a moment before setting your stick down and grasping will's hands, pulling them into your own and forcing the boy to look into your eyes

so, when nico and will started dating, you offered for nico to come for one of them, beaming a smile at the gloomy boy

he agreed to be there but outright refused to do any of the stuff

at first, nico wasn't exactly your biggest fan

he would always say you took away will time or you were just too bubbly for your own good

but in reality, you reminded him too much of bianca

you tried your best to take care of him and will, always had snacks in your purse and band aids in your pockets

you were sweet and kind and it hit nico right in the chest

and you could tell, ever intuitive to people's feelings, so you pulled back and let nico figure it out for himself

in his own time, he warmed up to you, a while you still laugh in the same bianca did and sometimes you wrinkle your nose just like she used to, now he can look it with a fondness rather than guilt

Okay listen I lvoe the pjo books and series with all ym heart but.. everyone talks about them like they're perfect WHICH THEYRE NOT any problems are kinda brushed under the rug and I find thst kinda werid? Like you'll see other books and TV shows get dragged and canceled for the stuff in Riordan books and yet pjo doesn't?? So.. uhhHHHH yeah that's jsut something I noticed.

The weird relationshipd ynamics. Rick is like allergic to someone bring okay with being single or jsut aromantic like you can say Reyna but her having a crush kn Jason?? Yes she rejected Apollo but her relationship with Jason deterioted brcuz she had a 'crush' on the guy and that doesn't really amke sense to me (I can go into so much detail kn this)

AND LEO AND CALYPSO OMFG that is a toxic relationship. The age gap. The way calypso treats Leo. The fact Leo SHOULD NOT be with someone like this man hasn't dealt with his attachment and Abandonment issues like st all?!

The literal only black character in the pjo books being beckendorf.. then he dies. Then the Korean/Asian (I'm not sure sorry) character dies, Ethan. Evil thoughts and headcanons about benny and gcbc below

Benny is mad-scientist-adjacent in my mind. He’s almost one of those but hes an engineer instead. Still a freak.

Benny has facial hair. its in the storyboards and I cling to it like a koala to a tree during a forest fire

Benny IS short but he floats to peoples height so most don’t even notice

Old ass men. Benny would be born sometime before the 80s so he could actually grow up during that time! 1970 something.

For that matter, GCBC is also old as hell. Similar age to benny but he did not age anywhere near as well 😭😭 UGLY!

Benny and GCBC play fight like dogs.

Benny is NOT SKINNY!! this man eats ice cream every day he would not be skinny! no!

And for that matter, GCBC isn’t skinny either. Fat GCBC or death!

Hard of hearing benny. He works with spaceships those things are loud!

I dont think benny would care about pronouns. I usually use he/him for benny but i really dont think hed have a preference like everyone calls him he/him so he just goes with it.

On the other clawhand, GCBC is WOKE!!! He/it good cop he/she bad cop, collectively he/they because they are literally TWO GUYS!!!

if they were birds gcbc would be an owl and benny would be a blue footed booby. also not about my main slop characters but related to bird legos, metalbeard would be an albatross.

continuing with owl cop, hes an owl because owls have large circular eyes, yet their eyes can also be very reflective, and they can twist their heads about.

if they were cats gcbc would be a tiger just so they could say “you bit the wrong tigers tail” and benny would be a serval

(addiction mention/ drugs implied) it ws Naught a happy union n they sadly both struggled w addiction since getting together rly. he kind of was a bad influence on aoife's mum from the start n got her into tht scene. bt like when aoife was tottering around her mum wanted to clear up her act for her sake bc she ws the centre of her whole world bt her dad didn't rly follow suit n as a result things were Not Good n quite the rollercoaster when aoife was little

they were kind of struggling in ireland as it was anyway bc their village was a rather traditional one n income was sparse bc of local prejudices n when things reached a boiling point w aoife's father her grandma stepped in to her mum n was like girl we're outta here.

aoife's two aunties migrated w them to this absolutely ramshackle old creaky farmhouse in prospect hill bc the girlies stick together that they bought fr a pittance bc it was kind of falling apart n all of the big apple trees surrounding it were semi rotten bt they all agreed it ws their fresh start. she has no contact w her father whatsoever to this day bt it's cool <3 they started making apple jam out of the rotten apples bc the bruised fruit makes the sweetest jam n this is kind of symbolic of aoife's positive mindset in life.

aoife's mama remarried a vry sweet introspective repairer of watches who ws strangely also irish n he surprisingly fit right in w the sisterhood they'd created

ANYWAY that's for family bg. as far as abilities go aoife's grandma has always had contact w the other side. it's strange too bc when they were fleeing ireland their grandma jst randomly had this pull towards marina as The Place To Go n it's almost like she cld sense the spn forces there within her. aoife's always had a very visceral attachment to her surroundings growing up bc like she'll. befriend different ghosts in different places n settings r like richly embroidered tapestries she can't help etching her fingers along to appreciate their craftsmanship. aoife believes people n their stories make the world go round <3

being a medium she hs a little oracle business of sorts in a side room of their big farmhouse n has a few sweet regulars who she regularly helps communicate w their passed loved ones. she's a bit too sweet tho n sometimes jst won't charge them bc she feels too mean charging to help them w their grief n some of them r hard for money so she doesn't feel it's right even tho it's like girl u need the income.... bt it's fine.

her grandma is vry powerful bt very controlled whereas aoife gets a bit too attached n is probably more at risk for possessions n such bc she's kind of easily manipulated if she feels for the tall tales a ghost is spinning. speaking of which there's a ghost tht kind of has a crush on her tht lingers in the farmhouse frm time to time n "accidentally" knocks a book off the shelf whenever it sniffs someone hving a crush on her in the air. aoife's like sheldon ur so silly not again!!!!

she's vry goofy. does big ungraceful giddy toothy witch cackles like bunny kicking her feet n everything then gets shy n bashful right after. loves fantasy, intricately engraved swords n the idea of having a pet baby dragon who's always sneezing n accidentally singeing the ends of her hair (bt she'd nvr get mad at them bc it's just so cute). she's constantly embroidering items or crafting a strange little something out of scrap material she finds n regularly has clumsily pinpricked fingers as a result. sometimes she collects twigs to help build birds nests bc she's like they're so little they must be so tired doing it all by themselves!!!!!

hs a HUGE albino rabbit named bo tht seems strangely immortal bt noone ever questions it. carries him around in her arms like a beloved handbag, close confidant n surrogate father all in one. he acts all sweet n soft w aoife then when her backs turned is the antichrist to anyone tht gets near her. it's true love <3

she's vry friendly n open bt romantically she's quite a closed book bc she's never rly witnessed a good demonstration of it.

hs long rambunctious flowing curly ginge hair like ophelia drowning in a pond n wears 4958724975942 rings n vry floaty kimonos n crochet skirts n long lacy skirts n dresses. oh n whenever she sneakily bites into one of their best apples she leaves a little indent frm her gap tooth.

Like she gets (spoiler!) murdered in ep 1 and the police are like "the body was found by the victim's boyfriend" and they mean Tan. Bun the main character drunkingly kissed Tan in the first episode as well and then saw Tan and Jane at an event holding hands and he was like....... wow this is awkward and also is he cheating on her with me??? (he was best friends with Jane). Anyways like this continues with Tan being under suspicion for Jane's murder because he's was her lover apparently and Bun is like living with this guy now and Tan is like laying it on thick about his attraction towards Bun but Bun is still suspicious and then Bun's talking to one of the kids that Jane and Tan taught and the kid is like "yeah so Miss Jane's boyfriend...." and Bun is like "right, Tan." and the kid is like "what??? mr tan never dated miss jane she was with this other guy." and Bun is confused (rightly) until like a few episodes later or so they're staring at their red string board and Tan is like "yeah so I was literally never with Jane we were just good friends" and is then also implied to be like gay as well so he's not even bi. Which ok straightbait over right? Wrong! What’s everything you ship ( like everything alright )

Oki so I really didn’t get big into shipping until I joined THSC really and at first I didn’t want to ship characters since at the time when ships for THSC had began, I wasn’t really supportive of the gay ships until I slowly began to like it. Seeing a lot of the ships in THSC, mainly the ships I do, are adorable. As for other fandoms I’m not really sure about ships really since THSC is a fandom I just love lmao. A lot of the problems with the ships now are that people having too much opinions on what you ship and say they shouldn’t happen bc shipping isn’t a thing in the actual game but I don’t care at this point lol if anything they’re just being annoying. But I do a LOT of ships in THSC, some are original for me feeling like they should be with someone lmao. I also try to balance out the gay and straight ships in THSC a lot because I feel like I’m giving a little too much attention to the gay ships and I also want to respect my sexuality, Straight.

Please respect what I ship ;w;

I do Stickvin (Henry Stickmin x Charles Calvin) because it’s a cute ship and I feel like it could actually happen in the game and some of my friends say it’s basically canon because of the amount of times Henry and Charles get to be with each other in THSC. Both characters are bisexual in my opinion.

I do Panprice (Rupert Price x Dave Panpa) and it’s my favorite ship of them all. It’s so insanely adorable, especially how THSC sets the characters up in a somewhat side story that happens during the game. Both characters get separated and basically are just upset from that. The fandom also makes this ship even more adorable since it has Rupert and Dave often reuniting after so long and they are finally happy again. I also love the fandom has had the on going joke that Dave is taller than Rupert since that’s basically canon in the game as well.

I do Curtisson (Sven Svensson x Burt Curtis) since it’s another adorable ship that the fandom made. I’m kinda sad these two never actually show any signs that they like each other as friends in the game but the fandom making a Swedish stereotype date a bored head of communications is great! I also feel like this is the only ship that actually works for these two since the fandom’s other ships with Sven and Burt are….uncomfortable and weird…and I like that Sven is a simp for Burt lol

I do Copperight (Reginald Copperbottom x Right Hand Man) because it’s another ship like Curtisson but a little more complicated lol. I feel like I have the same reasons with Curtisson to why I like this ship, except there were some times I felt uncomfortable with it. At first I wasn’t comfortable with the idea that a boss would simp for his assistant and even go to the point of maybe stalking them. I ended up getting over that since Reginald liking RHM was jsut too great of a concept I had to go back to shipping it. I’m not a hundred percent sure if they’re actually dating yet as of rn since so far it’s just Reginald hinting to RHM that he likes him.

I do Vingabe (Dr. V x Gadget Gabe) since I originally thought it was an original ship I made until I began to see others do it as well and I really couldn’t see Dr. V being a lesbian and I thought it would make sense since these two have some things in common.

I do Geoffrey Plumb x Thomas Chestershire since it’s a popular ship that’s coming around again and it makes some sense. I thought at first I couldn’t do it because of the age difference I had thought until I realized this ship could actually happen lol.

I do Icepick x Snowcap since they already had a good friendship in THSC and I could see these two together. It’s more presented as a guy just following another guy’s plans and stuff. Icepick seems like he is a stickler and chill dude while Snowcap just seems to agree with what he says lol.

And I do Tin Tintin x The Witch since I saw one Fanart of it and it’s already adorable. I began to love Tin Tintin a lot after discovering he was a character in the game and just love the fact he is such an adorable acting Toppat. I also like the fact his only word he can say is Tin. As for why I paired him up with the Witch, it makes sense since I’d feel like she might be an ugly duckling in the clan and just became friends and later dated Tin. I also think the concept of a Witch dating a Time-Traveler is cool.

I have original ships I could go over rn but I’ll probably wait for someone to ask for those since these ships I showed are some ships the fandom likes and ships. I also am not much into shipping in other fandoms as I am with THSC since these ships aren’t canon and give more variety while others don’t lol.

I do ship some characters in Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss tho ^^

I like to go with a bunch of the canon ships tho since it’s confirmed and stuff lmao.

I like Charlie x Vaggie since they’re already in a great relationship and are canonically in a lesbian relationship. They’re adorable when it comes to Vaggie’s talks with Charlie a lot.

I like Blitzø x Stolas especially after S1 E6 with how Blitzø kinda accepted that he was gonna have to be like this with Stolas.

I like Millie x Moxxie bc they do have an already adorable relationship in the series and I don’t get why people ship these two with different people despite that they’re already married before the series even started.

I like Sir Pentious x Arackniss despite the character not making an actual appearance yet and is currently still going under his redesign. I’m also upset that (I’m not 100% sure still) Sir Pentious might actually get cut from the show TwT

I like Asmodeus x Fizzarolli since it’s again kinda canon and how it’s so stupidly portrayed in the series- *wheeze*

And I like Vox x Valentino since it’s supposed to be a surrogate family with Velvet being included in it. I’m not really a fan of how it’s portrayed as an abusive relationship with the two but after seeing these elements in Val a lot in the Addict music vid, I’m starting to believe that he would do the to Vox, not to mention the fact we saw how their relationship really works in the ING accs when they were a thing lol.

okay i totally jsut realized i jumped back into using this site like i didnt delete my entire old blog. so. you might be asking: "julia who the fuck are hanamoto and fujimaru and why do you keep tagging posts as them" they are two of my favorite characters for two totally different reasons and i would do anything for them

this is going to get long. fair warning. i'm just gotta put a cut

fujimaru is fujimaru takagi from bloody monday. i dont recommend you read bloody monday i'm just irrationally attached to the series because it got me through a time. i literally only have these pics of him and otoya for some reason but fujimaru's the one with the dark hair

he's my worst son and i would do anything for him. he's a hacker and the series has some of the funniest scenes where he ends up teaming up with a counterterrorism unit called Third I and all his companions are in a circle kicking peoples asses around fujimaru who is hunched over a laptop furiously typing like "5 more minutes guys, i got this!!" he's a weak little shithead nerd and i woudn't have it any other way. i have a tattoo of a falcon as a long joke about this guy (also because falcons rule). he's not my first bird aligned fave but he's sure up there on characters that impacted me. i totally didnt realize how many emotions i still have about this guy until i started writing this part of this post. if i reread bloody monday i'm sorry (i'm not sorry) it's the residual fujimaru in my brain.

one time i think in bm2 he blew up a whole room by scattering a bunch of flour in the air, turned directly to the camera, and said "the internet can teach you anything!" he is a menace to society.

bloody monday 1 is good, bloody monday 2 is okay, i do not talk about bloody monday last season. the drama adaptions are, to my recollection, fine! but also i last watched them about 10 years ago so take that with a grain of salt.

fun fact, the guy who plays otoya in the bloody monday drama(s) is the same guy who plays den-o. i haven't seen den-o but its just another one of the "the descent into toku was prophesized" moments like me being obsessed with okkusenman as a kid.

i would say i think otoya and fujimaru should kiss but i think fujimaru doesn't deserve otoya. otoya is too good for him.

hanamoto is shuji hanamoto from honey & clover. he is my UM UM UM HE'S MY UH HE;S WHEN when you um when you feel what dyou he's uhhhh him. he's he. he's the guy in my icon :)

shuji hanamoto makes me feel every emotion known to man. i dont know what the juice is that was put in him that makes him so poppin. a couple years back i was chatting with a friend at the time about the series and we were like "yeah the beauty of honey and clover is that each time you read it you relate with a different character more" which is absolutely true but also 100% the bitch of all time has to be hanamoto for me. i started reading this series in shojo beat magazine back in middle school to give perspective on how long this man has haunted me.

should i get into hanamoto gay theory? i think i should get into hanamoto gay theory. mostly because i can't recommend the series knowing the ending unless i tell you about (and make sure you're also subscribed to) hanamoto gay theory. hanamoto is blatantly in love with his old (dead) college buddy harada and it hurts me to my core. please observe:

ME, MY BOYFRIEND, AND MY BOYFRIEND'S WIFE. they weren't just friends to me, they were my world. and before anyone tries to tell me this means that hanamoto must also have feelings for rika, the way that he acts around her is like, borderline paternal. harada is like the only one that he shows anything romantic towards, he's just a dad to everyone else really. he's protective but that doesn't equate romantic. which, i am not going to spoil the whole series, but it makes sense. god. oh to be two boys and breathe the same air... oh to be two boys and make art together and spend the most precious time of your life together in the same home and eat the same food and breathe the same air.

THAT'S HANAMOTO BASICALLY. THAT'S WHO HE IS TO ME.

tl;dr question i didn't actually answer above "why do i do this" theyre just aesthetic tags lol but instead of actually tagging the proper aesthetic names i use character names because its more fun and i like them :) i think these boys are neat and i like them :) no i dont know how to use pinterest and i refuse to learn that site scares me

Before part 2 of stranger things releases I just want to put my thoughts out there as someone who has only seen pieces of the trailer and never seen them voluntarily:

Things I want to get out of the way

Steddie and Ronance aren’t going to be things.

I hate to say it guys, but it’s not even that we’re being queerbaited in that front, there’s just nothing there.

Steddie, while cute, is not gonna happen. Steve and Eddie barley talked but when they did talk it was either in a group or a one on one situation where Eddie was pushing Steve towards Nancy. Eddie is queercoded but Steve is (and it kills me to admit) painfully heterosexual. It’d be cool if they got together but it’s very… very… very unlikely.

As for Ronance, as much as I love that ship name (and I will be stealing it for an oc couple in the future), Nancy is, again, so painfully heterosexual she’s been in a love triangle three out of the four seasons of this show and Robin has a completely separate love interest literally introduced this season to be her love interest. I kinda wish I’d see more fancontent of that or even just edits of Barb and Robin because although I don’t really ship it, I think they’d be pretty cool.

Realistically I think they might have Steve and Nancy get together but there’s just as big of a chance that they might keep her and Jonathan and fix that relationship by moving the Byers back to Hawkins. It’d be cool for Robin to actually get with Vicki though.

Will is either going to be confirmed gay or just heavily queercoded.

Since we’re talking about queer character: Will Byers is so freaking gay. “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls” was the biggest clue, but people have been talking about him being queercoded as long as I’ve been watching the show (though to be fair I started after season two). Based on some interviews and how giggly everyone’s sounded talking about this I don’t think they’ll outright say anything. Chances are they’ll have Will give Mike the painting but it’ll be all “oh no it’s not cause he has a crush on Mike it’s cause they’re best friends” so they can keep on making his sexuality ambiguous so as to not alienate homophobic fans more than they already have with Robin. I think the writers are jsut queerbaiting us. That said, I’m not saying there’s not a possibility-all the interviews could’ve been red herrings but they may very well have been genuine. Only time will tell.

Character deaths in order of how likely I think they are to happen 🙃

Lucas, Robin, Hopper

They don’t have enough black or gay characters to kill Lucas or Robin and I’m pretty sure the Duffers know the of backlash they’d get if they did. Don’t worry. As for Hopper, they wouldn’t do a fake out kill only to actually kill him a season later. That’d be very stupid of them.

Jonathan and Will

Jonathan might die but I’m pretty sure Will is safe. Jonathan has a not so great relationship with his girlfriend and I could see them killing him to push Nancy towards Steve.

Characters I think could die on vibes alone:

In order of least to most likely: Nancy, Mike, Argyle.

Max

She might be safe but there is still a change Vecna’s gonna kill her. We’ve spent too much time with her this season and it just feels like the letters are gonna be really important.

Steve

One interesting thing about Steve is that we haven’t really seem too much of him as the cast of characters has expanded and i think it might be that the writers just don’t like writing for him. The writers might prefer him dead. This idea is based partially on that one Duffer Bros interview and partially on Eddie.

Steve could be passing the babysitter mantle over to Eddie. Based on the similarities we’ve seen between those two (especially their relationships with Dustin), Eddie having known Steve back when he was, to put it frankly, a dick, and some comments Eddie’s made about admiring Steve, they just might kill him off.

His death could also be a catalyst for Nancy and Jonathan getting back together: you can’t have a love triangle if one of the points dies and having Steve out of the way

All of that being said, I think they might just have Steve and Nancy kiss and then have Jonathan show up and pretty much spend season 5 repeating that trios dynamic in either season 2 or 3. I don’t think Steve’s gonna die.

Eddie is probably gonna die. I don’t want to be right but I think I am.

1)We’ve seen this pattern before: likeable side character people relate to/generally enjoy is killed off in the same season they’re introduced in. Barb, Bob, Alexi. (You could theoretically argue Billy should be on that list but I fucking hate Billy and he wasn’t introduced in the season he was killed in so o don’t want to count him. The death might be that Argayle or Russian guy too but I don’t know if anyone cares about him because I barley payed attention to the Hopper plot.)

2)Eddie doesn’t really have a way back to his normal life. The entire town thinks he’s a serial killer and his death/“disappearance” could wrap that up nice enough. If they kill Eddie they don’t have to deal with the town being ready to condem/physically murder a high schooler and therefore not have to deal with the moral implications. (Or they might go the Teen Wolf route where the town finds out about the supernatural but don’t trust the heroes. That could actually be a cool idea for season 5.)

3)Eddie has got the right setup for a dramatic sacrifice death. I mean just think about it: he’s had various lines talking about being a coward and admiring Steve’s willingness to fight and take risks with his own well-being. Eddie could very well sacrifice himself to let the others be free, much like Bob and Billy before him. It would be cool if this time the character who does this lived because third times the charm and all…

General thoughts and predictions

Nancy and Mike

I think Nancy’s gonna have a boyfriend in the end of this and while I don’t think it should be Steve, I don’t want Nancy in a relationship right now. Nancy needs time to mature and white women are always forced into relationships like love and romance will fix everything and I hope they let her be single. Mike is probably gonna be with El but unless they have a decent conversation I don’t think it’ll last long before we see another big fight.

The Byers

Personally I don’t like Joyce and Hopper (season 3 ruined them for me) but I do think the writers might write their relationship well and it could have the added benefit of getting that family back in Hawkins. We also talk a lot about what Hopper means to El but I think in theory he could be a good father to Will and Jonathan. Speaking of, Jonathan has too fucking much on his plate right now and really deserves time to process his own trauma from this whole chaos. I like the idea of Hopper joining his family because it’ll take some pressure off of my boy who is self medicating hard core and I’m really worried about him. When it comes to Will, I think we’ve had our cute moments between him and Mike this season so we’re pretty much done with him by this point. He might be a part of the family reunion but probably not gonna play a huge role.

I am prepared to eat my words(especially on my Will and Byler points), but it might take some time because I really need to sleep tonight and I’ve got plans tomorrow so I won’t see the actual show until Friday evening/very early Saturday morning.

guy starts wrongly but strongly thinking he knows two secrets: deok-mi was at the chinese auction doing freelance art buying on the musuem's dime, deok-mi is a lesbian

the cabin episode is so beautiful with the photographer's functional widower, and even though ryan quickly finds out she's straight he must look back and think she is The kind empathetic ally that i thought i was being!! lmao!!

really i'd respect a universe/write a fanfic where deok mi and seon joo actually are gfs, boy group fandom is such a sapphic tradition , a buddy beard show where she starts off bearding but then comes out as both gay and sian na gil

Me. i just see me and i see what i desire and what i crave. i see what i'm starving for. i am a gay man. that's just what it is. there is nothing else to say. but it's fucking difficult to even allow myself to be real and open and honest about that without feeling shame and pain and without the internalised transphobia just seeping in and telling me that i'm wrong. that it's not what it is. that i'm just some sort of sick twisted het grl who gets off on fetishizing gay men. but i'm not. if i was, i wouldn't feel so fucking at home. i wouldn't feel like my entire soul is on fire, alight with the truest, deepest knowledge that this is me. i can remember the first time i ever consumed media about love between men. i can remember being a kid, late at night, reading manga on my ipod touch under the covers when i was supposed to be sleeping. i remember watching anime on youtube, watching men hold hands, kiss, hold each other, say i love you. i remember watching the hands, watching them touch each other and seeing their eyes, animated so that you can see an expression of love and care. i remember seeing lust. i didn't understand that one yet, but i remember my eyes going wide, unblinking, completely absorbed because there was just something clicking into place somewhere inside me. i remember being 15. i thought i was a grl. i thought i liked grls. i remember going to the queer film festival and watching films about women in love. about female desire. i thought it was nice, beautiful even. i don't remember feeling anything stir in me. but i remember watching jongens. and it felt like all the breath had left my lungs, like my eyes couldn't shut, like i was seeing something truly holy, something so truly breathtaking and earth shattering, and i felt myself silently weeping, my heart skipping beats, my skin prickling and warmth flooding my chest because somewhere inside of me i knew that i was looking in a mirror. the song at the end of the film became a staple in my life, something i would listen to and feel at home yet... removed. like something was missing. something always felt off, before i knew i was a man. something felt right and wrong at the same time. but i knew. i always fucking knew somewhere in my fucking heart. and i denied myself for so long. and now i know, and now i yearn, i crave, and i am fucking STARVING. i am fucking crying. i love men. i love men so fucking much and i feel so tender when i read this shit, when i see the art, because there is nothing that feels quite as real and true as the fucking gentleness, the care, the intimacy, the touch, the hands, the eyes, the desire, the love!!!! i never feel more euphoria, in my gender, in my body, in my entire existence, than when i think about my attraction to men, and i can't help but soak in depictions of vulnerability and love between men

for starters, i've talked briefly abt age 801 on my twitter before but i'd be glad to talk about it here too HAHA

though i haven't actually played this first hand so i won't go into too much detail in fear of giving wrong information. BUT BASICALLY there was this game called Dragon Ball Online, which "was a massive multiplayer online role-playing game being developed in Japan and South Korea by NTL, set in the Dragon Ball universe." again i didnt play it but from what i understand it takes place 200 ish years after the end of the buu arc in dbz.

age 801 is the year of goku's death, but it goes deeper than that LOL

APPARENTLY as goku realized his time to die was approaching, he reached out to vegeta, and the two of them LEFT EARTH WITHOUT A WORD and traveled to a far away planet in the middle of no where to have one final battle where they both went out in a blaze of glory. i don't remember where i heard this but apparently their death battle caused a supernova that was seen from earth years later

i'm rewatching dbz rn and i'm really obsessed with this one little filler arc that happens immediately after the saiyan arc. vegeta's on his way to some freeza planet to heal up, and goku's hospitalized. it's not very much content bc it's actually just a little side-thing that's shown while the Real filler is happening but i still love it regardless

i'm soo obsessed with this cinematic parallel here LOL i love that they're both healing from this battle at the same time but theyre also both thinking about what happened like. a LOT lol, pretty much any time either of them are on screen they're thinking about the fight that just happened HAHA

vegeta is literally floating in a healing pod dreaming about the fight whispering "kakarot" over and over?? and goku keeps sneaking out of the hospital to train for when vegeta comes back??

idk i just love it a lot LOL I KNOW ITS KINDA SMALL AND SEEMS LIKE IM REALLY GRASPING HERE BUT,, IDK I MEAN. the way the show sets it up so that's its like. vegeta in a healing pod saying "kakarot" (and NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS IN THE SCENE BTW HE'S JUST LIKE. "KAKAROT,,," AND THEN IT TRANSITIONS AHHA FDJH) and then immediately cuts to goku trying to sneak out of the hospital to train for vegeta's return (or smth similar)?? like the show is obviously trying to set up this parallel here between them and like. idk whether this is intentional or not but it DOES come off pretty gay imo LMAODJFJH

AND LIKE. OKAY i know vegeta's excuse is revenge and i know goku's excuse is wanting to protect earth when vegeta returns but,,, u also have to remember that goku LET VEGETA GO FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF SEEING HIM AGAIN LOL SO LIKE. basically this whole scene is goku being like "omg i'm too excited i can't just sit here in the hospital?? i have to train i have to be ready for him" LOL

this entire little filler is just so... like idk i feel like. during the fight they both had some wild thoughts and emotions flying around that they couldn't really sit down and piece together at that time (because.... they were amidst a life or death battle LOL) but this downtime is really important, like the seed has been planted and now they're both gonna spend time sitting here stewing and thinking about each other?? like this is IT, this is the first of many, many times that they'll be thinking about one another. this is how feelings start blooming hehe

one more thing, there's this scene where goku sneaks out of the hospital successfully and goes to train in the middle of nowhere but he overexerts himself terribly and falls, and as he's about to fall to his death he starts thinking about vegeta LOL

THIS HAPPENS A LOT BUT WHENEVER GOKU IS ABOUT TO DIE HE HAS A HABIT OF USING VEGETA AS LIKE. AN ANCHOR TO KEEP HIMSELF ALIVE AND PUSH FORWARD LOL

It only lasts a few episodes, but this is a very clear INTENTIONAL straight bait from the writers, as it's a female main character with a male major supporting character, and Benson even takes Kipo to a carnival, which Kipo interprets as a date, until she confesses attraction to him, where he tells her he's gay and just wants to be friends.

tan:

ok so it's complicated? like he's the lead love interest in a show that was very explicitly marketed as queer but I'm calling him straightbait because he literally straightbaits like every character in the show? So there's this girl (Jane) and everyone jsut assumes that he's dating her? Like she gets (spoiler!) murdered in ep 1 and the police are like "the body was found by the victim's boyfriend" and they mean Tan. Bun the main character drunkingly kissed Tan in the first episode as well and then saw Tan and Jane at an event holding hands and he was like....... wow this is awkward and also is he cheating on her with me??? (he was best friends with Jane). Anyways like this continues with Tan being under suspicion for Jane's murder because he's was her lover apparently and Bun is like living with this guy now and Tan is like laying it on thick about his attraction towards Bun but Bun is still suspicious and then Bun's talking to one of the kids that Jane and Tan taught and the kid is like "yeah so Miss Jane's boyfriend...." and Bun is like "right, Tan." and the kid is like "what??? mr tan never dated miss jane she was with this other guy." and Bun is confused (rightly) until like a few episodes later or so they're staring at their red string board and Tan is like "yeah so I was literally never with Jane we were just good friends" and is then also implied to be like gay as well so he's not even bi. Which ok straightbait over right? Wrong! Jane's actual boyfriend gets murdered and Tan gets arrested for it and he's like "what motive do I have to kill him??" and the police are like "well you two were fighting over Jane's love clearly" and he just kinda scoffs and smirks with a whole "these idiots have no idea that i'm currently planning on how to propose to my boyfriend of like a week" but just doesn't say anything?!?!?!?! he actively makes himself more suspicious and a greater target by pretending to be straight instead of just being like hey guys you know I was just buddies with Jane right? and i'm currently hooking up with the doctor who keeps giving you guys problems?? Anyways he's not straightbait in the sense that it was any surprise to the audience that he ended up with a boyfriend. but he did pretend to be straight for no real reason and literally endangered himself by doing so (this universe didn't seem to have like any actual homophobia stuff)

Just not for each other The best way to describe Hardshine is this: “They’re soulmates” “Platonically or romantically?” “Yes” Literally they care so much about each other. Moonshine cured Hardwon’s vampirism by reincarnating him into a half elf and he told her “I’ve been half elf ever since I met you”. Moonshine is a high level elf druid which means she’ll basically live forever and literally the most emotional scene where she asks her mom “How long do half-elves live?”. Hardwon was always a fish out of water who never really fit in until he found Moonshine and the Crick. Are they dating? Queerplatonic partners? Siblings? Idk man they’re just in love it doesn’t matter how.

willow park and hunter:

THEY ARE NOT STRAIGHT THEY R BI4PAN BUT IT IS AN M/F RELATIONSHIP They are an M/F relationship in The Gay Show and they are hinted and teased but never confirmed

tim drake and stephanie brown:

Tim and Steph are a thing for most of their history. Then stuff happens and they break up and soon after that Tim is confirmed to be bi and starts dating Bernard (former random side character who nobody thought would ever be relevant again)
