“Do you not want me?” She asked, her voice full of confusion and sadness. She knew she wasn’t anything too special, but was she really so repulsive to him…?
“Anna…” How could he tell her that he wanted her more than anything else? That there wasn’t one ice-harvesting trip where he didn’t think of having her all for himself? That his greatest dream was getting married and the blissful wedding night that would come after?
He reached for the door.
“No, Kristoff, you don’t get to hide in the stable with Sven! Answer me! Do you not want me?”
“It’s not that, Anna…” He slightly opened the door.
“Then what is it?! What’s wrong, then?! What are you so afraid of?!”
His restraints, like a rope that’s been stretched too far, burst.
“I’m afraid that, by being with me, you’re going to ruin your future chances, Anna!” He yelled, finally turning to her.

Homemade Holiday- A Kristanna Oneshot
Universe: Canonverse, Post F2
Rating: G (General/ All Ages)
Length: 1711 Words
Summary: Anna and Kristoff prepare tree decorations together.
A/N: Kristanna Advent Day 11, going to try to catch up tomorrow, pray for me. This fic is just cozy and sleepy. Highly recommend making your own ornaments this year with someone you love, even if that’s a four legged friend, it’s a great holiday tradition and a wonderful way to break through the winter gloom. If you search “scandanavian straw ornaments” and victorian card ornaments you can get an idea of what Kristoff and Anna are making. I have several straw stars on my tree and adore them.
All Arendelle was decorated to the nines with wreaths, trees, stockings, bows, and garland. Anna had coordinated with the local merchants’ guilds to make everything just so, and then Elsa had kindly visited from the forest to add a nice dusting of snow over the sidewalks and on the rooftops. She’d not created drifts or enough snow and ice to make travel difficult, she’d just managed to make things look a bit festive when mother nature had decided to be uncooperative.
Inside the castle, however, was a bit different than in the streets. It was heavily decorated too, the fancy royal heirlooms were in the same places her parents had always had them set, but in the royal wing, the private places no yuletide guest would reach, there was a very different air to the decorations.
“Ouch!”
Anna gave Kristoff a sheepish look, trying to express her appreciation for his work and encourage him to continue even though this was at least the third ouch she’d heard in the last hour.
“No one ever told me that stringing popcorn was such a dangerous tradition,” he said as he shook out his hand, willing the pain away from where he’d accidentally stabbed himself.
“Would you believe children do it?” Anna asked.
She’d offered to be the one who strung it, but Kristoff had vetoed that. He’d been kind enough not to mention how poor Anna was with a needle and thread, and instead had only teased her about how he was certain that she’d just eat all the popcorn as soon as he stopped watching her closely enough.
Instead of working on the garland, she’d set to the task of making ornaments. Before her, sitting on the library floor, were a variety of supplies and tools. She had scissors and paste, last year’s greeting cards and post cards (of which there were a great many), a small stack of papers in various colors and sizes, scraps of material and ribbons from her old gowns and the seamstress’s stash, buttons and glass beads, yarn and a variety of natural materials which Kristoff had gathered for her.
She’d been the one to insist on a homemade Christmas, and she’d been thrilled when Kristoff, who could not deny her any reasonable request, happily agreed. She had the sense, at first, that he had more experience with a homemade holiday than she did, and while she still suspected as such, he was as green as she was in many aspects of putting on a holiday without staff. She supposed that it was good that they were learning together, especially now when it was just the two of them and Elsa to worry about.
Kristoff grumbled something about mortal wounds and bad parenting but was clearly doing so just to see her laugh given the mischievous look on his face. When she couldn’t help but laugh, his smile was instant.
She finished cutting out a very pleased looking mouse wearing a Santa hat and showed the little paper creature to Kristoff.
“Do you think I should hang him as is, or should I paste a little beard on him?”
Kristoff looked up from his work and took stock of the little grey mouse.
“I like him the way he is, but if you wanted to add a beard I don’t think that would make him any less of an excellent ornament.”
Anna appreciated his answer, even if it was just leaving it up to her. He did have his job to do and she had hers after all, but that he took time to look, and had done so several times in the last couple of hours, brought Anna immense joy.
“I think I’ll let him be as he is then. There’s a few more mouse cards in here, and a couple with skiing foxes, and one with a bear juggling oranges. I think they’d all go well with the trees I’ve already made.”
Kristoff had set back to stringing the popcorn, his work slow and methodical now with his wounding in recent memory. His expression was thoughtful when she looked at him, his eyes narrowed slightly and his brow quirked.
“A woodland theme then?”
He sounded pleased with this turn of events. He busied himself with stringing a few pieces of popcorn more before slyly popping one into his mouth. She didn’t even have time to complain before he was learning over towards her and popping two pieces into her mouth, knowing with such certainty that she’d open her jaw to receive it that he didn’t even watch to see if he’d properly delivered it onto her tongue.
Anna loved it when they were on the same page. They disagreed very rarely about matters that concerned them both, and when they did have different opinions on a matter, they were usually able to find common ground and a compromise before long.
She crunched the lightly salted pieces and immediately craved more. He was, of course, right to have been the one stringing the popcorn.
“Are you still going to teach me how to make the straw stars?” she asked, feeling only a little bit anxious about the question. He’d offered to teach her when they’d met in the stable that afternoon, after their ride together through the village to check on the holiday preparations.
At the mention of the straw ornaments, his expression went a little soft and he set down the popcorn garland, leaving his spot on the library settee to join her on the floor. He took a little wooden spool of red thread with him when he went, as well as an embroidery needle.
He sat at her back, propping her up slightly on his chest and allowing her to get comfortable with relative ease. He’d collected the straw for her after lunch, and before the sky darkened for the evening, he’d ridden to the edge of the forest with Sven to retrieve pine bows, twigs, bird’s feathers and more small pieces of nature for her to add to her ornaments. She’d pasted some on here and there, and she’d quite enjoyed the scent of Earth that they’d put off in the small space.
“Grab some straw Anna,” he said, leaning forward slightly with her as she grabbed it from the pile in front of her at the moment of his request.
She felt his hands cover hers as soon as she leaned back, his fingers quick to pull little pieces of the sweet smelling straw from her bundle as he needed.
“Sorry, this is probably going to get all over your skirts.”
Anna couldn’t help but laugh at his concern.
“As if the maids will be surprised.”
At that, he chuckled himself, the sound low and warm, flowing through her and relaxing her like warm tea on a scratchy throat.
“Well then if that won’t be an issue…”
He set his straw pieces on her skirt, arranging them across each other and bidding her to do the same, just as he had.
He guided her hands, his palm slipping over her knuckles and gently pushing or pulling her into the space where the straw needed to lay. She liked the contact, and the butterflies in her stomach made it evident to her that she would never tire of the feeling of his focus being solely on her, particularly when he was guiding her. She was in charge of making the decisions for an entire nation, so in her limited free time, she loved the way that Kristoff was open to leading her, to helping her make decisions or, when she desired it most, making them for her.
“Okay, now you move these pieces like this,” he said, his voice in her ear as he leaned in close to show her how to cross the straw pieces together.
“Then you grab the string and tie off the sections until it looks like a star… we’ll do a simple one first and then I’ll show you more. Ma is better at it than me, but I can show you the basics and she can teach you all the patterns the next time we go to the valley of the living rock.”
Anna smiled at that. She should have known that he would have learned such a beautiful craft from his adoptive mother Bulda. She was, despite her stone fingers, very adept at all sorts of crafts and creations. Anna fully expected that she’d see her work shortly when she and Kristoff finally had their true troll wedding in the valley during the summer. She could hardly wait.
He guided her through the steps, helping her tie knots in the strings and trim them down. Together they made eight stars before tiring of the work.
“This will all be worth it tomorrow when we get our tree,” Anna said with a yawn. It had gotten quite late and they’d both managed quite a few prep tasks for the holiday.
“Well,” he said softly, “It will all be worth it when we get to look at the tree all finished and know that we did it all. I don’t know how content you’ll feel after getting the tree, the amount of effort it takes to saw one down is a bit tiring.
Her grin was sleepy, like everything else about her. She was more than ready for bed, particularly when he took her last finished star from her hands, placed it with the rest, stood and scooped her from the floor and into his arms.
“That’s nice,” she said sleepily, letting him tuck her into his chest, carrying her against himself with his arms under her rear end.
“Let’s get you to bed Princess.”
“Queen,” she replied, almost wishing she’d worn her crown to their crafting session so she could point at it as part of her joke.
He smiled and shook his head, “You could declare yourself empress of the world Anna, you’d still be my Princess Feisty pants.”
She teasingly batted at his chest with her hand, as if she were even slightly offended by what he’d said instead of feeling warm all over, which she did.
Some things, like Christmas tree decorations and terms of endearment were just better when they were homemade.

Inktober 2022 day 6 💐 "Bouquet"
"It's... Missing something." Noted Elsa.
Anna looked at her sister's reflection in the mirror, then frowned as she looked down and analyzed her wedding dress for the upteenth time.
"What? What is missing?" She asked worriedly, her previous excited mood switching to panic.
They had spent hours preparing this dress, what did they possibly miss? Anna inspected the train, twirling on herself, and when she lifted her head to Elsa who was standing behind her, the latter let out a chuckle.
"Will you tell me, instead of laughing?" Reproached the redhead, though her sister's giggle was contagious.
Elsa made several steps forward, and revealed what she had in fact been hiding behind her back. Anna didn't realize that she held something all along; Elsa was so overwhelmed and emotional seeing her baby sister wear her wedding dress earlier that she had placed her hands in her back in pure reverence while the seamstresses worked. She didn't expect the blonde to secretly pick something while she was distracted and keep it there.
Elsa presented a stunning bouquet she had made herself, and Anna gasped. It had multiple colors, a perfectly deliberate act to represent the younger sister's personality, and it was made of radically different flowers, but they somehow all went very well together, completing each other. The bouquet was arranged in an intricate way, which made it obvious that Elsa spent a long time on it.
"They're fresh." Smiled Elsa. "Not that I sprayed them with snow or anything." She explained with increasing bubbly nervousness, especially when she saw that Anna kept staring at it. "I picked them right before leaving the Forest. Most of them come from Northuldra regions."
She outstretched her hand to present the bouquet closer to her sister.
"Oh, it's gorgeous." Said Anna.
Elsa frowned. There was something odd in her tone. Her sentence seemed genuine, but it sounded like she was expecting something else.
"What?" Asked the elder.
"What?"
"You're disappointed. What's wrong?"
Anna widened her eyes, and lifted her gloved hands with insisting panicked gestures. "Oh, nothing's wrong, Elsa, I swear! I just..."
She stared at the bouquet again, and the Fifth Spirit tried to understand the familiar sparkle in her teal blue eyes. She then gasped. "You wanted me to make you an ice bouquet, didn't you? Look, I can craft you one, if you want..."
She immediately put the bouquet in her right hand to start to twirl her left wrist, but the redhead quickly grasped her forearm. "No, no, there's no need."
"Truly." She added when she met Elsa's unsure expression. Anna then melted in a smile, and looked at the beautiful bouquet in her elder's hand.
"Those flowers are magnificent. And I know you by heart; you asked the tribe about the signification of the Northuldra ones in ancient tales so you could make me the most meaningful bouquet, didn't you? It would be heartless of me to refuse it."
She thought that Elsa would roll her eyes at her for mentioning how nerdy she was, but the blonde blushed deeply.
The Spirit then started to fidget with the delicate paper that surrounded the stalks, and Anna tilted her head tenderly.
"Do you want to explain me what each of them represent? Then you can hand it to me once I know the full message behind it."
Elsa's blush increased, but this time she looked at her, and smiled at the love emanating from Anna. She had a soft sigh.
"Okay." She said resolutely and happily, and she cleared her throat with a larger smile. "So, I started with the one in the center, which of course had to be a sunflower..."

Tags: Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, Humor, Fluff and Smut, Porn with Feelings, Vaginal Sex, Couch Sex, Dirty Talk, Anna has a filthy mouth, Established Relationship, Marriage Proposal, Charades
Summary:
What if Elsa hadn't heard the voice and gotten weird during charades in Frozen 2?
Kristoff tries to propose to Anna right after the game of charades, but he's not able to get the words to come out right. So he resorts to a bit of impromptu charades to ask the big question. Anna says yes, of course—and then is so excited that she uses charades herself to make a suggestion of what they should do together next. The clues are: two words, first word sounds like “pets,” second word sounds like “duck.”
Written for Frozen Smut Week 2024, @kristanna-days
Read on AO3 or start with the excerpt below:
He and Anna were no strangers to each other’s bodies. They’d been a couple for three years now, and though Kristoff would have waited until they were married to do anything sexual, Anna didn’t have that kind of patience. He’d been terrified, at first, that he was going to get caught fooling around with the princess and get banished or something, but everyone in the castle seemed to turn a blind eye to the hints of their physical relationship. Even Elsa, apart from one extremely mortifying conversation about the importance of preventing pregnancy before one was married, was willfully blind to the whole thing.
So Kristoff didn’t feel bad about squeezing Anna’s butt and grinding back against her as they continued to make out in a castle sitting room. All the servants knew to knock by now.
But then Anna suddenly broke away from him and pushed herself out of his arms. He assumed she wanted to take this to his bedroom, but instead she held up two fingers and gave him a coy smile. “Two?” he said. “Two what?”
She raised her eyebrows at him and jerked her two fingers in the air for emphasis. “Oh, are you doing charades now?” he asked. She nodded. “That’s cute, but I liked kissing you bet—” He cut himself off when she gave him a stern look and stuck her other hand on her hip, still holding up two fingers.
He sighed with an exasperated but fond smile. “Okay, fine. Two words,” he said. She held up one finger. “First word.” Cupped her ear. “Sounds like.” She bent down and made a petting motion, like she was stroking a dog or cat. “Petting?” She held her hands close together. “Pet!” She linked her little fingers together, the sign for plural. “Pets!” Her face lit up and she tapped her nose while pointing at him.
“Okay, sounds like ‘pets.’ Bets? Debts? Let’s?” She nodded happily and tapped her nose again. “First word is ‘let’s.’”
Anna held up two fingers. “Second word,” Kristoff said. She cupped her ear. “Sounds like.” She put her hand up to her mouth and nose, pointing her fingers outward, and opened and closed her fingers against her thumb. “Um, beak,” Kristoff guessed. She started waddling around the room. “No, bird! Duck!” She nodded vigorously and cupped her ear again.
“Sounds like ‘duck.’ Buck? Stuck?” She planted her hand on her hip again and tilted her head at him, an exasperated look on her face. “Okay, okay, two words, so the phrase is ‘let’s…fuck’?”
“Yes!” Anna exclaimed with a triumphant smile.
Kristoff laughed at how ridiculous it was to mime that instead of just saying it, and yet how cute and fun and Anna it was, too. He stepped toward her and grabbed her butt again to pull her back against him. “Yes, let’s stop playing charades, and let’s fuck.”

For me, F3 will be considered bad only if Elsa stops being the Fifth Spirit. And semi-bad if this movie doesn't have at least a drop of mythopoetic fantasy spirit; if Elsa is weak and Anna can not deal with her responsibilities.
I am ready to endure the rest whatever it will be but these. Bad Kristanna, ugly Hans in mud, childishness, boring/repetitive messages, I'm ready.
It will be good for me if there is a Northern Lore, powerful magic of Ahtohallan, Nature, angst/fluff, a serious quarrel between the sisters or Kristanna, which will later result in a sweet reunion, new dresses, glaciers, polar wolves and bears, dark spirits, Elsa as the powerful Northern witch, the shapeshifter guy, saving the world again.

A Sky Full of Sun
Kristanna Modern AU Rated: M  WC: 2032
~This is 1000% self-indulgent and all fluff
------------
Kristoff smiled at the sundog in the sky.  It was only on the coldest, sunniest of mornings that you got to see such a neat phenomenon.  He hastily fished his phone out of his jacket pocket to take a quick picture for his Ma.   She enjoyed stuff like that.  He did too.  It was breathtaking, and she had always told him growing up that it was a good omen for his day.
“This fucking cold snap is something else.” Sven came up to him, dramatically rubbing his arms trying to warm up, his breath coming out in white vapour as he talked.
“It certainly sucks to work in.” Kristoff slipped his phone back into his Carhart jacket.  In all honestly the cold wasn’t too big a deal to him. Being a construction framer, they worked in all kinds of weather and he was rarely bothered by it.  Except when frigid temperatures brought nasty wind chills, then it was a nightmare and he would go home and have the hottest of showers and sit on the couch with his big blanket, thick wool socks on, and a blazing fire in the wood stove.
“So… about Mexico-”
“I don’t know, Sven. I’m not really a beach kind of guy.”  They started off trudging trough the deep snow to where a lift sat waiting for them to haul materials onto and get to work. “I don’t like sand and I hate that it gets everywhere.”
“It’s not just the beach though!  There are pools, and a bar, and fishing, and quads, and sunset cruises, and Ixtapa island, and of course Zihua has a lot to offer.”
“Zihua?”
“Zihuantanejo, you know what I mean.  From Shawshank Redemption, like I said.”
“I know, Sven.  I just wasn’t sure you were so familiar all of the sudden.”
Sven made at face at the smirk Kristoff was giving him and the proceeded to load wood onto the lift. His friend had been on it for days on end.  He even went so far as to rent a four-bedroom condo for two weeks and now he was trying to find someone to help with the cost of the place.
“What about Ed, he’ll go with you.”
“Ed?  Fuck you, Kris.  Really.”
Kristoff laughed in his friends face as they loaded the plywood.  Ed was nice and a good worker, but the guy was impossible to take in anything but small doses.  Couple times he tagged a long for a beer after work and most of the guys at the table wanted to tape his mouth shut, he was so crass.
“It’ll be sunny and thirty-plus degrees every day down there!  Come on, Man.  You’re by BFF.”
Kristoff snorted.  “I know I am, and that means you should know that beach vacations just aren’t my thing.”
Sven pouted at him. The man really pouted, and Kristoff decided he could throw him a bone.  It had been a long time since he’d been anywhere besides camping for a vacation.
“Fine, fine.  You’ve officially worn me down.”  Sven grinned like an idiot and opened his mouth to comment, but Kristoff stuck a finger in his face.  “But I’m bringing a bunch of books and I am doing my own thing, you got that?  If I don’t want to go to the beach, you leave me alone.   If I don’t feel like going out to any night clubs you’ve been talking about taking Liz to, you leave me alone.”  Kristoff resumed loading wood, then added, “I don’t feel like being a third wheel the whole time anyway.”
There was a silence then and Kristoff’s stomach twisted.  Damn Sven.  Damn him, because Kristoff knew was about to come out of his friend’s mouth.
“Well, Liz invited a friend too because there are four bedrooms-”
“For fuck’s sake, Sven!”
“No, no, listen!  It’s actually great because she initially asked this other couple we know, but between you, me and the outhouse, they are insufferable dickheads who always try and one-up ya, you know?  But they dropped out due to some family drama bullshit or whatever so Liz has this new work friend who… you know... could use a friendly group of people-”
“People my ass!” Kristoff felt his cheeks getting hot. “Let me guess, she’s single.”
Sven hesitated. “Well, yes.  But-”
“You’re seriously trying to set me up on my fucking vacation?”
Sven’s hands went up in surrender.  “No, seriously dude!  That’s not what this is.  Not at all! We’re honestly just trying to get people to fill rooms, but we’re having a hard time finding takers to help with the cost.  I don’t even think we’re going to be able to fill the fourth room.  I mean we already paid for the whole thing after all.”
“I’ve never known you to over-commit on something.” Kristoff managed with a serious face.
It took Sven a half a second to recognize the joke and he burst into a huge smile.  “You’re still in then?”
Kristoff looked back up to the sun dog in the frigid air, making his decision final despite his sudden reservations about a stranger joining them.  “Yeah, yeah,” he said through a sigh.  “I’m due for a vacation anyway.”
They jumped onto the lift and started to bring it up then Kristoff turned to Sven, and gave him a firm look.
“But I’m not going to play nice if you all try to gang up on me and make me do shit I don’t want to do.”
“Oh, I believe you, you grumpy asshole.”
Kristoff nodded, comment aside and they got to work.
 Two Months Later
A ringing phone woke him up.
Kristoff rolled over to grab his cell of the nightstand, wondering who the hell was calling him at this hour, whatever hour it was, he had no idea.  He went to bed at nine in the anticipation of getting up early to catch his plane to Mexico.
“Yeah?” he groaned, as he sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
All he heard was hacking on the other end.  Kristoff pulled the phone away from his face to look at the screen and realized it was Sven.
“Sven?  You okay?”
After the sound of a flushing toilet and some clearing of a clearly hoarse throat, he spoke.  “I’m sorry Dude, I really am.  I am a as sick as a dog.  Gotta be food poisoning or something.”
Kristoff let his head fall between his shoulders.  “You’re not making this plane, are you?”
“Unless I can stop puking and shitting myself, that would be a no.”
He felt for his friend, he really did, but that meant he now had to board a plane by himself, go to a condo he didn’t rent in his name, and supposedly meet someone who Liz had invited to stay with them.  It was too much, he would have to cancel, money be dammed.  It was too awkward.
“I told you that gas station sushi was a bad idea,” Kristoff huffed.
Sven groaned in response.
“I’m sorry, dude.  It sucks you’re sick.”
“I’ll get my ass down there,” he mumbled.  “It just won’t be tomorrow.  Or today? What the fuck time is it?”
Kristoff pulled the phone from his face to look at the time.  “Quarter after three.”
Sven wretched again and Kristoff hung up.  That was something he didn’t want to listen to, so he texted his friend he hoped he felt better and to keep him posted on how he was doing and when he might be able to catch another flight down.
Sleep was impossible after that.
He had to be up at six anyway, it wasn’t anything to him to kill a couple of hours cleaning his small house for when he got back.   He was a little anxious what it was going to be like without his friends there for a buffer, but he was trying his hardest to take things as they came lately, no matter how much they infringed on his comfort zone.
*******
Anna could not keep the smile from her face.    She was so excited to head somewhere warm for two weeks with nothing on the agenda but rest and relaxation.   Liz and Sven would have to join them later – poor Sven and his food poisoning – but at least she wouldn’t be alone.  She was going to meet a new friend!
There was no way she figured she be able to pick him out in an airport full of people waiting to board planes, but there he was, right in front of her when she cleared security and walked into the terminal.  Just as described, he was blond, tall, broad chested and ruggedly handsome, although she wasn’t sure why Liz had even added that last little tidbit since she assured Anna this was not a set up or anything like that.  They just needed help paying for the Condo.
Anna felt a pull to go up and talk to him then, except he was eating breakfast and that was hardly the right time to introduce yourself to someone.  Not only that, she needed to grab some food for herself.  There wasn’t much open in the terminal so early and she had to admit that the sub he was eating looked pretty good.  Anna got in line at Subway to get herself one and by the time she got it with a mind to maybe sit at his table, he was gone.
Not that it bothered her, she was looking forward to fun and sun and getting away from the frigid cold weather.  Even if the guy was a jerk, all the rooms had their own bathrooms and she could put herself in her own space when she was in the condo and not be bothered by anyone. She was no stranger to doing things by herself.
Anna ate her sub and walked around the terminal a bit, stopping at the place to load up on snacks despite the highway robbery prices.  Then she made her way to the gate and happened to see the blond guy again, arms crossed and leaning against a wall nearby, bag tucked between his feet, idly watching people pass by.
If there was ever a time to introduce oneself before a flight and vacation space they were to share together, now would be it, she figured.  She also liked the idea that he was standing.  Anna decided it would be good for her too to get as much standing in a possible too before being seated on a plane for five hours.  It wasn’t such a big deal for her, she was small, but this guy clearly needed some leg room and would probably be itching to get off that plane by the time it landed.
Anna approached him and his gaze swung towards her direction then stopped when their eyes met.  She wasn’t sure what to make of first impressions based on facial expressions but his lips parted slightly and his eyebrows twitched up as she approached him.
“Hey, are you Kristoff by any chance?”
“I am, yes.”  His demeanor shifted towards being guarded rather than looking bewildered like a moment before.
“I’m, Anna!  Liz’s friend.  I guess we’re headed to the same place!”  She stuck out her hand.
The tall blond looked down at her hand a moment before slowly reaching forward with his own and shook it.  His hand was warm and… so big.  How tall was he anyway?  At least six-two.  Maybe six-three.
“Nice to meet you,” he mumbled.
“You too!  I’m looking forward to soaking up some sun.  How about you?”
“Um…” His hand came up and rubbed the back of his neck.  “Sure, yeah.”
Well at least he appeared friendly.  If anything, Anna figured he was probably a quiet person, which suited her just fine. As long as he wasn’t a dickhead, she’d be able to enjoy herself.
“Well, it was nice to meet you!  I’m not sure where you’re sitting on the plane but let’s meet up at the cab stand when we get there and split a ride, okay?”
He nodded, ghost of a smile on his lips.  “Sure, sounds great.”

For the fanfic ask game:
D: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with In the Pocket??
E: If you wrote a sequel to All I Want for Christmas is You, what would it be about?
I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?
Thank you for the ask.
D: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with In the Pocket??
I don't have a playlist just for In the Pocket, but I've added songs to my main Kristanna writing playlist. If I had to pick one song, that's hard, but lately with where we are in the plot right now it's "Mine Would Be You" by Blake Shelton. He and Anna had a little bump in the road and now he's looking back and realizing that Anna's kind of the best thing that's happened to him.
E: If you wrote a sequel to All I Want for Christmas is You, what would it be about?
Tooth rotting domestic fluff where Kristoff moves onto the farm with Ryder. There'd be a chapter where they take a reindeer drawn sleigh ride and see the Northern Lights and kiss...a lot.
I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?
Does Sports AU count because it's kind of painfully obvious for me?? LOL Along with Sports AU is like smut where the girl wears the guy's jersey and it drives him wild.

More kristanna pleasee I love your kristanna fanfics!!
Hi Anon! You're so sweet, thank you so much!!! 💕 I've compiled a list of all of my fics here and you can find my AO3 account here!
If you've already read all of those, then feel free to send in a prompt to my inbox. Last year, I reblogged this fluff prompt list and this fall prompt list, but because I already wrote a ton fics based on those lists, I'll link some new ones here. Here's a soft prompt list, a random prompt list, a romantic gestures prompt list, and some OTP prompts. If you do want to send one of these in, just let me know which list it's coming from when you paste the quote/gesture in the ask box (and the number, if it's in a numbered list lol).
I will warn you, though - I have some prompts sitting in my inbox from last year that I *still* haven't gotten to (because I'm the worst), so it could be a while before I'm able to, unfortunately (and to those of you who have been patiently waiting - I deeply apologize for taking so long). My life has been insanely busy lately, and I've been struggling to find time to write. I'm really trying to get back into a groove, but I haven't been very successful as of yet lol.
And last but not least, if you're sick and tired of my writing, I'd be happy to compile a list of some fic recs for you!
Happy reading! And thanks for making my day 💕

The Most Amazing Dream | Kristanna Week
Fandom: Frozen, Frozen II
Ship: Anna/Kristoff
Words: 1,200+
Rating: K
Summary: Kristoff contemplates the future while on a sleigh ride. Beside him, Anna enjoys the most amazing dream.
Author’s Note: Hello! Today’s prompt is all about jealousy, nature, and naivety, and while I just couldn’t bring myself to write something as troubling as jealousy for these two, I do hope you enjoy a bit of naive nature fluff! At first I wasn’t very happy with this one, but after some proofreading and playing around with it, I think it’s pretty sweet. :)

Sven kept the sleigh moving forward at a steady pace, cutting through familiar forests of ancient spruces as the reindeer stepped confidently and lithely through the snow. Kristoff had given up on steering long ago. He could trust his companion to find his way to the cabin that had long-been his home on his solo harvesting trips.
This time, though, he was solo no more.
Anna had been exhausted. She took to being queen like a duck took to water. After all, she had been trained for it. But weeks of state visits, poring over important documents, and answering to disputes from every corner of the kingdom had turned into months, and finally an entire year had passed. It had taken its toll.
She was still vibrant and lively outwardly, always the picture-perfect regent that he knew she would be, but when it was just the two of them, she had expressed her stress and tiredness to Kristoff in a weary voice that broke his heart.
Eager to ease some of that burden, Kristoff hadn’t allowed her to protest when he decided she needed a break. Her efforts to refuse him had been weak at best. Even she knew it was the best idea. everyone in the palace had been informed that the Queen was to take a week-long break from royal duties to visit the mountains with her fiancé. She was only to be disturbed in the most catastrophic of circumstances. In her absence, her most trusted advisor would see to matters of diplomacy and admin, and all her other duties would be waiting for her when she returned, well-rested and ready to resume.
Kristoff picked her up bridal-style and placed her gently atop the blankets in the sleigh. She giggled and tried to squirm away from him to seat herself as he goaded, “Until the end of this week, you won’t have to lift a finger. Or toe.” He flicked an affectionate finger over her nose. Afterwards, when she was properly settled and he clambered in beside her, he kissed her cheek tenderly and stated simply, “Let me take care of you.”
“Always,” she replied, gazing up at him with those blue eyes filled with so much love and warmth that he felt he could burst from it. She nestled herself into his side, and he wrapped one strong arm over her shoulder as he took the reins and directed Sven out of the kingdom.
Succumbing to her tiredness, Anna fell asleep soon after their departure. Part of him thought her almost-immediate snores were adorable. The other part wondered how someone as lithe and small as Anna could produce sounds as loud and inhuman as... that.
Kristoff hadn’t disturbed her. Rest was the whole point of this trip, after all. Instead, he listened to her heavy breaths and little murmurs, relaxed into the steady rhythm of the sleigh, and considered whether this was what life would be like for the two of them now.
In the beginning of their relationship, he’d felt like a fish out of water. He didn’t understand the table manners that came so easily to diplomats, struggled to hold his own in a ballroom against hundreds of dignitaries, and far preferred nights spent in a stable to being tucked up in the finery of a palace bed. His uncertainty and insecurity had weighed heavy on him for that first year after he’d met her.
But he’d learned. In the years that followed, he’d undergone tutoring, dance lessons, elocution classes, and more. Anna had said that it was completely unnecessary, that she’d love him even if he ate from a bowl on the floor, but the truth was that he was doing it for himself. He needed to feel sure of himself in this strange new world, because if he had his way, he’d be in it for a long time.
Kristoff had blanched when he first learned that Anna was going to be queen. No thought had filled him with as much terror as that one seemed to. In actuality, it suited both of them far more than their previous situation. Anna did thrive as queen, and, with his newfound understanding of the ways of royalty, he thrived at her side. Arendelle was in competant and caring hands with their new Queen and her devoted fiancé.
In truth, he was tired too. He had duties of his own, and did everything he could to support Anna as well. Now though, finally alone and with no to-do list the length of the ballroom waiting for them, Kristoff started to relax.
Their wedding was arranged for six months’ time, and preparations were well underway. After the wedding, they had plans for a diplomatic ‘honeymoon tour’ of the neighbouring kingdoms. He knew Anna was looking forward to travelling and seeing more of the world, and he was looking forward to standing proudly at her side as she did.
Following all that, he would be Prince Consort, with only one important role: provide an heir. He wondered what their children would like. Would they be blonde, or feisty little redheads? Would they inherit Kristoff’s broad frame, or Anna’s infinite collection of freckles? Would they be quiet and soft spoken, or boisterous and clumsy? There was so much uncertainty, and the thought of being a parent absolutely terrified him. In the same breath, it gave him a rush of delight as well. He knew one thing: those little children would be so, so loved.
He imagined their children growing up, blossoming into wonderful young princes and princesses. They’d be unruly toddlers, storming the palace and causing havoc. Then inqusitive children, desperate to explore and learn. Then - oh, gods - sullen teenagers, rebelling against the slightest rule. Then capable young adults, ready to face whatever the world threw at them with courage and love.
Perhaps he was being naive, and he was certainly getting ahead of himself. But the thought of this future that he never could have imagined before, of raising a small family into the capable heirs that the kingdom deserved with the love of his life with him all the time, was one that filled him with so much warmth and excitement that he didn’t care if he was being ridiculous.
Kristoff broke out of his reverie to see the snow-covered trees beginning to thin. Up ahead, he knew there would be a clearing with a hot spring and the cabin that would keep them sheltered for the week.
“Good job, Sven. That must be record time, buddy.” The reindeer only chuffed out a friendly sound in response. Kristoff knew what it meant. “Yeah, I’m happy to be here too.”
Beneath his arm and a bundle of thick blankets, he felt Anna stirring.
“Hi,” she mumbled, looking up at him as she blinked the sleep from her eyes.
“Hi.” He grazed her forehead with his lips, and she hummed softly in response.
“I’m feeling better already.” Anna smiled, leaning her head onto Kristoff’s chest. “I had the most amazing dream on the way,” she told him, “I dreamt that we were married, and had children - they were so cute, they looked just like you, but, like, little - and I dreamt how we were the most amazing parents and they grew up to be the most amazing children... except when they were teenagers. They were uncontrollable teenagers - I think they got that from me, but anyway- wait, I’m sorry, I’m rambling.”
Kristoff chuckled softly, pulling her in closer as the cabin came into view. “Don’t worry about it, feistypants. It sounds like it was a pretty wonderful dream.”

Happy Wife, Happy Life- Kristanna Oneshot
Universe: Modern AU
Rating: G (General, fluff)
Length: 1106 Words
Summary: Kristoff runs all around the city of Arendelle to pick up Anna’s many pregnancy cravings.
A/N: Kristanna Advent Day 13. I will eventually catch up, or I won’t, who knows!
Kristoff had never thought to use an insulated bag to keep things warm. Of course he’d been putting his cold lunch in an insulated lunchbox for years, but he’d never really imagined needing to keep food hot for very long. That was, of course, until Anna had become pregnant and he, had become a slave to her cravings.
He huffed, out of exhaustion more than frustration as he drove to the other side of town in blizzard like conditions to make his forth and final stop of the evening. Tonight Anna had been craving a McDonald’s double quarter pounder with cheese, bacon, and extra pickles, but she hadn’t wanted McDonald’s fries. No, she’d been craving the fries from Burger King which she had personally detested for years, but now had wanted several times in the last month for some unfathomable hormonally charged reason. And of course she hadn’t wanted pepsi or coke products for a beverage, she’d been craving a frosty from Wendy’s and now, finally, he was heading to Taco Bell on the opposite side of town to get her cinnamon twists.
He'd thought about the fortune this would have cost him in door dash or uber eats fees and for a few short moments thought about how little a price it would have been to pay when compared to the amount of exhaustion he was feeling now, crisscrossing the city, after spending a very long day at work. He didn’t have it in himself to feel frustrated though, not when Anna didn’t even ask him to brave the weather for the sake of her cravings. He wasn’t even the least bit upset that she was curled up on the couch with Sven, their overlarge cattle dog, watching emotional support reruns of crime shows that made him queasy to even think about.
He could never be upset because this was how he cared for her, and it was a very small price to pay to have Anna, his wife, the soon to be mother of his child, the love of his life, feel as comfortable and pleased as possible. Plus, he couldn’t complain when he’d also picked up his favorites from each restaurant for dinner as well. At Mcdonald’s he’d grabbed a Big Mac for himself and a burger for Sven, at Burger King he’d grabbed onion rings, at Wendy’s he’d grabbed a frosty because his wife did have excellent taste in beverages, and finally at Taco Bell he fully planned to grab himself a taco, because he didn’t share Anna’s sweet tooth and the frosty would be more than enough of a desert for him.
His truck slid a bit in the slush as he came to a stop sign, but it was easy enough to control. He’d been driving through snow and cold for years, and had mastered controlling his vehicle in winter as best as anyone really could.  The car coming to the intersection from the opposite side couldn’t quite say the same, and it was simply dumb luck that they didn’t slam straight into Kristoff’s truck, but instead slammed into the curb less than a foot ahead, knocking a mailbox free from the sidewalk and causing some pretty serious dents to their vehicle.
Once the car stopped moving, Kristoff sighed, threw his truck into park, and put on his hazards. The insulating bag would do its best of course, but Kristoff had a feeling that he wouldn’t be bringing home dinner even remotely warm tonight.
***
Anna had fallen asleep at some point on the couch and only woke when Sven, who had been protectively cuddling her sleeping form, leapt from the couch and ran for the front door. Anna awoke with a start, the sudden motion of the dog frightening her for a moment, before she realized that his demeanor was positive, his tail wagging as she watched him dash toward the door through her bleary sleep crusted eyes. It was a little after 7:30 according to the antique mantle clock she’d received ad a wedding gift from her sister. That frightened her more than the dog’s sudden departure from the couch. Kristoff had left at 6:00 and while she was certain that running after her cravings would take time, she couldn’t fathom it taking much more than a half an hour, let alone three times that long.
She realized that the weather must have worsened, and with great effort she bade her swollen and sore body to move from the couch and see, with much hope and anxiety in her heart, who was at the door.
She hadn’t gotten very far off the couch, wrapped in a heavy cotton blanket, when a beleaguered looking Kristoff entered the room with a bag in one hand and a drink carrier in another.
“Sorry,” he said, sounding every bit as exhausted as he looked, “there was an accident…”
“You were in an accident?” she asked before he could continue, running for him and nearly falling to the floor when she tripped on the blanket she was still mostly wrapped in.
Kristoff nearly dropped the food as he moved to catch her, but thankfully she managed to right herself before he had a chance to drop anything.
“No, no, I’m fine. I just witnessed an accident, so I helped the guy out of his car and called 911 and waited for police to come. Then I noticed how many letters on the ground were for Santa and I just… I couldn’t leave them there so I helped a cop round them up and hopefully they’ll get where they’re meant to go.”
She blinked at him for a moment, trying to understand what she was hearing.
“Letters?”
He shook his head and continued crossing the room, setting the food and drinks on their coffee table with Sven excitedly following in tow. He looked absolutely exhausted and Anna was just happy to see him home.
Kristoff sighed, “I’ll fill you in as we eat, I’m starving.”
Anna smiled in return, comforted by the knowledge that her husband had not been in a car accident trying to get her all her silly cravings. She’d never forgive herself if he’d gotten hurt on one of her whims, but she knew that he wouldn’t have even held it against her if he had.
“Okay,” she agreed, “But I’m eager to hear this story about how Kristoff Bjorgman saved Christmas for all the good little boys and girls of Arendelle.”
His dismissive exhalation made her smile, her body relaxing again into the couch, now at his side. Dinner, while cold, was everything she’d dreamed it would be and more.

HTBC 🌱 chapter 9!
But still I cannot see, if the savage one is me
Panicked adults and scared children were the reception of Anna and Elsa when they eventually came back to the camp.
The Northuldra were so busy running around to grab weapons or organize the defense and put kids into safety that they didn't notice their presence right away.
Anna frowned and grabbed the arm of a man. "Hey, what the hell is going on?"
The Northuldra looked devastated. "They're gone."
The Queen blinked. "Who?"
"Honeymaren and Ryder. They're gone."
Elsa's eyes widened, her breath caught in her throat like someone actually suddenly squeezed it. "Wh… What?"
Yelena appeared next to the man, saw that Elsa's usually pale face got even paler, and nudged him angrily. "Review your vocabulary! You make it sound like they're dead!"
"But…" Replied the man, trembling. "We have no idea if–"
"As long as I'm alive, I will never assume or let Northuldra assume that we die without fighting. We're a surviving tribe. Do you understand? I hope that you'll pass the torch when I'm gone." Frowned the old chief.
The Northuldra gulped. "Y-yes."
He then left, and Yelena sighed. She looked at the Fifth Spirit with seriousness, though one could see sadness in her eyes.
"They've been captured. The bandits have taken advantage of the two Nattura siblings being on their own next to the reindeer to put sacks on their faces, and several people of the tribe saw them knock their heads before putting them on the back of horses and going away as fast as they came. We tried to go after them, but it was too late. They had scared the reindeers anyway, and we had no ride to catch up. They… They took advantage of your absence to do so."
Anna and Elsa were devastated by the news, astonished and speechless, like the air had been captured from their lungs. The redhead turned to her elder with shock, and saw that Elsa was astonished.
"They… They were on their own?"
The chief had a sad smile. "Well, yes. You two left and they remained on the edge of the Forest. Iskko told me that Ryder had meant to ask Honeymaren about her feelings since the… Letter incident, and it's probably why they weren't focused on their surroundings. The conversation went confidential, I think, because the Wind Spirit was above the herd and yet she came back to the center of the camp, which she usually does when one of us asks for privacy. And I know Ryder. He likely opted for a quiet conversation and eased her nerves with the reindeer babies to pet."
Elsa's heart sank in her chest and she looked at her own sibling. Anna gulped with a sad expression, perfectly imagining what was crossing her mind. She wasn't even there when the reading of the letter had happened, and yet she had sensed Elsa's emotion when she told her how it went. It was natural for Honeymaren to feel even worse.
Elsa's face crumbled, and she started to hold her head.
"No, no, no… Honey… I shouldn't have left her."
"Wait, Elsa, Yelena is right. Even if we were next to her, she would have asked for privacy." Assured Anna.
"But I could have protected her!" Jolted Elsa.
The redhead widened her eyes when she saw her sister suddenly pace around, her left hand passing through her hair while the other was over her belly, like a reassuring self-hug. Anna knew that posture too well.
"Relax, it's gonna be okay…" She whispered, lifting calming hands.
"I'm always here with her! I live with her!" Exclaimed the Spirit, twirling around and around. "I can always keep an eye on her and protect her, I can't believe that–"
"That when you're absent, someone takes her away? Yeah, that's the whole plan, actually." Pointed out Anna, trying to ease her with that blatant fact.
Elsa kept pacing around with anger towards herself.
"Of course whoever did this has waited for me to go away so I won't protect her. But that doesn't change the fact that it's my fault!" She exclaimed.
Yelena slipped away from the emotional outburst. She had lots to do to protect her tribe anyway.
Anna planted herself right in front of her sister at her next turn, to block her in her unending spiral.
"Elsa, Elsa, calm down. Think rationally. We need your clever and composed brilliant side now."
The Spirit snorted at the compliments, still passing a hand in her hair - now really sparkly with all the added layers of ice - but she eventually calmed down at the trusting teal blue eyes.
"You surely have enough faith in Honeymaren to know something. Even the tiniest thing." Encouraged Anna.
Her elder sighed. She closed her eyes and thought, took the time to breathe out, then opened them again with calm.
"Honeymaren is a hunter, a strategist at heart. She always plans things in advance, and she actually always has a second plan, and it's very likely that she planned something in case she gets captured by Hans or any thug when I'm not around. She just never got the occasion to tell me."
The Fifth Spirit felt terrible as she theorized that Honeymaren maybe never told her her plan because she didn't want to hurt her with that possibility after the Collapse.
Anna frowned at Elsa's theory. "But if she told her suspicions and plans to someone, that would put the person in danger. It's not very Honeymaren." She cleverly noted, aware of how the brunette worked.
"I agree." Said Elsa. "So… She must have written a note for me somewhere."
Anna agreed in turn, nodding.
"And hid it. Now the question is, where and how could she hide a note that only you would find?"
Elsa thought for a moment.
Then she suddenly widened her eyes, and turned to stare at Anna.
"The cryptex."
"Uh?"
"THE CRYPTEX!"

Written for the Frozen x Beauty and the Beast Yuletide Exchange
@kristanna-days
“When will we get to Living Rock Township?” Kristoff’s passenger Anna was only talking to him because he was there and she was bored, which was almost worse than ignoring him.
He wasn’t in the habit of conversing with strangers, especially pretty, high-born women who were cheerful even when there wasn’t a reason to be. He didn’t see the point.
“When we get there.”
He wasn’t trying to be funny, but Anna laughed anyway. Rather than ignore the daggers he shot at her, she laughed even more.
“I’m sorry!” she said as she caught her breath. “It’s just that, well, are you always this talkative?”
He answered her with a smirk. This was why he bought a wagon and not a carriage: he’d have rather delivered parcels and mail than people any day.
But Mrs. Stone, the pastor’s daughter and one of the only nice people in Living Rock Township, had specifically requested he be nice when he collected Anna at the harbor, so he attempted conversation, though it didn’t help much.
“What are you even doing here?”
“I beg your pardon?” Her wrinkled forehead didn’t dampen her bright eyes. “That attitude is completely unnecessary.”
Kristoff whistled and his horse Sven stopped. Then he turned on the bench to face her. “You had to have a good reason to leave your family and probably very comfortable life in Arendelle to risk crossing the ocean. Especially alone-”
Then he remembered there was supposed to be a man with her.
Anna scooted away from him on the bench and folded her arms. “That’s none of your concern.”
Kristoff rolled his eyes when she lifted her nose in the air like she wanted an apology.
Instead, he said, “Fine,” and told Sven to walk on. So much for his attempt at friendship.
Then it crossed his mind that perhaps she had lost her companion on the voyage so he swallowed his pride. “It’s just unusual, that’s all.”
She let out a deep breath instead of crying and Kristoff relaxed. “My fiance was supposed to come with me.”
“I guess things didn’t work out with Prince Charming, there?”
Anna shook her head and added, “Well, see, I met him at a ball.”
Kristoff rolled his eyes. He already knew where this story was headed.
“It was amazing and magical. He was dreamy and divine. And he asked me to marry him that night! Of course, I thought it was true love so I-”
“You agreed to marry a man you just met? That day?”
Anna stopped talking and glared at him.
“I mean, sure. Yeah, that sort of thing happens all the time,” he said sarcastically.
“Anywho, my sister lives at North Mountain and I haven’t seen her in years—she got accused of witchcraft and had to leave in a hurry, long story-”
She said it so casually that it almost didn’t register. “Wait, what!?”
“How far is North Mountain from Living Rock? Do you know how to get there?”
“You might not want to talk about that kind of stuff too loudly here. Personally, I think it’s a bunch of hogwash, but other people seem to take it pretty seriously.”
It almost seemed like she was mocking him when she said, “Anyway, we were going to join her at North Mountain. My parents actually passed away a few years ago-"
"You lost your parents?"
Anna paused and smiled at him. "They were trying to find Elsa, but their ship never made it. That was about three years ago or so."
"I'm sorry to hear that."
She smiled again. "Well, obviously I wanted my sister's blessing since I couldn't get my parents. So I made all the arrangements and wrote to her. But I don’t know if she even got the letter-”
“So she doesn’t even know you’re coming?”
“Well, no…” Anna twisted her mittened hands in front of her and she looked off to the side. “Maybe. But I also wrote to Mrs. Stone gave. She gave me an open invitation when she and her husband left Arendelle. So I thought at least we’d be on the right continent.”
Then her voice dropped. “At least, I’m on the right continent.”
Kristoff pursed his lips. He hated to ask, but he was invested in the story. “So where’s your handsome prince now?”
She folded her arms again and spoke softly. “I guess he didn’t love me enough.”
Unfortunately, that tugged on Kristoff’s heartstrings and he couldn’t tell her what he really thought.
“I don’t believe it was love at first sight, in case that’s what you were thinking.”
Kristoff didn’t mean to snort.
She narrowed her eyes. “It was blind attraction, which can be even more problematic.”
“Not exactly the best way to start a life together.”
Not expecting silence, Kristoff turned his head. She was biting her lip, but he knew it wasn’t supposed to be suggestive. Or endearing.
Then she peered up at him, eyes blue-green like the sea, but constant, unwavering. “I still believe in love at first sight, but I’ve learned my lesson.”
He desperately wanted to look away from her but he couldn’t.
“Next time I’ll take a closer look.”
Kristoff’s heartbeat quickened until she wrinkled her nose and giggled, finally looking away.
“I’ll know him when I see him! And when I find him I’m going to hold on tight and never let go. True love is worth it.”
Kristoff turned his head again. The huge smile plastered on her face locked him in the moment, even though stared far into the distance.
But then he shook his head and remembered the last time a woman looked at him as closely as Anna had. That had been some time ago, and she hadn’t offered him a passing glance since then. There was no reason to believe Anna was any different.
