about to get sappy but im thinking about ive been making MHA content for a whole year now. extremely wild.

ive made some new pals and mutuals who i never would have met if i hadn't started drawing fanart?? ive read some amazing fanfic and it's made me rethink how i approach my own writing and develop certain things. ive drawn more of what /i/ wanted despite the post-college burnout

i started posting art of like.....kirishima only and i was too afraid to say i shipped krmn and kcck publicly for the longest time LOL being in fandom has also made me spend more time thinking on my own identity and how shipping interacts with that.

i love the story. i love waiting for the new chapter every week. i love this sense of "community" even tho i dont talk to a lot of ppl. i like interacting w/ my followers and memeing around. it's been stupid a few times but for the most part it's been a really fun experience.

idk being in this fandom has been a weirdly freeing experience for me in a lot of ways and im feeling a lot of love in this chili's 2nite (im not actually at chili's this is a pandemic are u nUTS)

uh yeah ANYWAY thanks to everyone who followed and liked and reblogged and sent me memes and was just generally nice to me i still dont rly know what to do w/ it sometimes

tbh I’m pretty sure they’re the default marker and brush tools in SAI haha

I don’t really have an headcanon for that! :O I think it’s not in Horikoshi’s intention to draw him with eyeliner ever, and I never draw him wearing eyeliner either, but it’s not like I mind the idea of him using it! So in general I’m like, either way it’s fine, he’s beautiful whatever he’s putting on his face hahaha

1. how long have i known about them: uhh i started bnha around march or april last year so since then!! but she started being god tier cc around august!!2. whether or not they’ve ever made me cry: ive read some rlly good fanfics that have!! i cant find em rn but if i ever do ill for sure talk abt em.... nothing in canon tho!3. whether or not i have any merchandise/objects with them: no im broke :(4. what about their personality i like: shes just!! so happy and fun!!!! i love how peppy she is and how much she loves her friends!!!5. what about their backstory makes me emotional: she probably put on a hell of a facade keeping up the “unshakable popular girl” act.... esp with that bit from kirishima’s backstory where she saved ppl from that villain but she was so scared.... and we dont know if she had anyone to turn to in moments like that..... :((6. the moment of theirs that made me the saddest: when she failed the final exams.... like. i know its all joak and shes supposed to be dumb but thats gotta hurt!! and you can tell how much she tries and it must really sting for her to constantly be at the bottom of her class even when she puts in a lot of effort....7. the moment of theirs that made me the happiest: i cant pick man i just love every moment i see her..... every moment i see her makes me happy!8. something about them that made me laugh: i love her alien design but like. its even better bc it has absolutely NOTHING to do with her quirk. she comes out of the womb with pink skin and horns and her parents are like “okay cool her quirk is looking cool as fuck” and then she starts shooting acid??? absolute power move. i love her.9. my favorite canon outfit of theirs: this right here!!!

fashion queen!!10. my favorite moment with them in canon: the culture festival!!! as a dancer i LOVE minas dancing and i 100% love and relate to her trying to teach her friends to dance skjfnsdjf11. my favorite relationship they have with another character: aa this ones hard!!! all the girls have such good relationships with each other but i also like her friendship w kaminari!! dumbass squad unite!!!12. what i like about the way the fandom portrays them: literally all the fanart of her i see is so filled with love.... like u can see how much love went into drawing her and i LOVE IT!!!13. what i dont like about the way the fandom portrays them: 1) krmn. horrible 2) when ppl depict her as a romance obsessed fujo type whos obsessed with her friends getting together and/or their.... very personal aspects of their relationships14. what i liked about the way canon portrayed them: i love her friendships with the other 1-A girls!! they support each other and lift each other up and its real good....15. what i dont like about the way canon portrayed them: the constant sexualization!!! shes just babey!!! also i dont mind the stuff w her pestering ppl abt her crushes but sometimes it comes across as her not respecting people’s boundaries (see chapter 216 for the worst offender)
