Hey! I love your writing style! :D I was wondering if you could do a Michelangelo, Raph, Leo and Donatello with an Italian reader, with them trying to speak a little bit of Italian to impress the reader. And see how all of them are :) Sorry for bothering, have a great day! ^^
A/n: Your not bothering me. Thank you for requesting. And sorry if anything is wrong I used Google translate.
Summary:the boys have a Italian s/o and they try and speak Italian to impress you
Version:2012
Michelangelo
It's no surprise he wanted to impress you but no one expected him to go this far
One day while you came to the lair you said hi to mikey and turned in his chair(I'm imagining he's sitting in the kitchen) and said
"Ciao amore mio"(hi, my love)
You stood their shocked before giggling and hugging him
You found it adorable he did this
And mikey was silently cheering while hugging you
Leonardo
He was walking out of the dojo and thinking about something
He was gonna ask you a question but couldn't find you In the lair
So he went to your place and tapped on the window
You opened it and instead of a hello it was
"cara, domanda veloce"(darling, quick question)
You sat their shocked before letting him in and smiling
You were glad he did this for you
And yes you answered his question
Just a little shocked he said that in Italian
Donatello
Donnie was at your place waiting on you
You guys were going on a date and he was nervous especially since it was a fancy date and you wanted to set the mood
But you were their to help him out
So when you came out in your outfit he was shocked
You asked him how you looked and he smiled saying
"sei stupenda come sempre"(you look stunning as always)
You blushed a little before giggling
You hugged him before giving him a small kiss
Then you pulled him away from your room to your guys date area
He was glad you didn't laugh and enjoyed your smile when he said that
Raphael
He wanted to buy you flowers so he was getting Casey to do it
But he didn't know what your favorite flower was
So he looked around the lair and found you in the kitchen
He shouted form across the room
"quali sono i tuoi fiori preferiti"(what are your favorite flowers)
You quickly looked over shocked before smiling and shouting back in Italian to see if he would get it
He didn't
So you had to tell him in English while giggling
He just thought 'mission success'
A/n:sorry this took awhile and if anything in Italian is wrong I don't know Italian I just hope Google translate is correct. I hope you enjoyed

The Mailbox With The Pink Flower - Leonardo
Tumblr media
I’ve had this idea since 2021 and finally wrote it out. This is set in the modern day but it isn’t an AU. It’s crazy to think that the guys could see MC in the modern day after already spending a lifetime with her but she’s still got her life with them ahead of her. I often think about stuff like this. Please read and tell me what you thought about it!
Words = 1.3k
Excerpt = He wasn’t necessarily here to look for her but if by a miracle he could chance upon her then he’d take that opportunity to see her again
Tumblr media
The year was 20XX, it had been over 50 years since Y/n passed away and left Leonardo. He moved to Japan a few years ago to be closer to Y/n, he knew she had already been born into this world, a younger Y/n that hadn’t yet gone back in time. He wasn’t necessarily here to look for her but if by a miracle he could chance upon her then he’d take that opportunity to see her again.
It was a Wednesday afternoon; Leonardo had just exited a client’s house that had hired him to fix their grandfather clock. He’d been doing this same ‘renaissance man’ job for centuries but it still filled him with the same joy as it had the first time.
He walked the streets of the clean middle-class neighbourhood, now his final job of the day was done, he was intent on going back to the place he called home in this foreign country. Gazing up at the clear blue sky, he idly wondered how the others were doing back at the mansion.
A school bus pulled up on the opposite side of the road and broke his chain of thought, a few young children got off the bus and waved as it drove off. As Leonardo carried on walking, he couldn’t help but think that perhaps somewhere Y/n was also coming home from school.
His gaze drifted back towards the young children skipping down the road. The children were parting ways and only one was left walking on the street next to Leonardo.
To the world, a grown man staring at a young child would look very suspicious but Leonardo couldn’t help it, he couldn’t help but see his beloved Y/n in the honey-coloured locks cascading down the young girls back.
The girl was bouncing a ball as she walked with a smile on her face. It was such a familiar smile, Leonardo thought.
Suddenly the ball bounced off the curb and into the road towards Leonardo’s direction. The child giggled before stepping into the road to retrieve the ball.
Thank the lord that Leonardo was watching her so intently, else he might have been too late to notice the silver car speeding around the corner. The tires of the car squealed against the concrete at the sheer velocity of the vehicle. The girl turned in surprise in the middle of the road, she shrieked and her eyes went wide as the car got closer.
An urgency flared throughout Leonardo’s body and he was moving faster than any human could to pull the child towards him and away from the oncoming car. He bypassed the ball as it bounced harmlessly passed him.
The car whizzed by seemingly not caring about the speed limit. Leonardo looked down at the child that he was holding onto, he scanned her for injuries before letting her go.
Now they were safely on the street, he stepped back from the child and the girl burst into tears. He didn’t know what to do, he didn’t want to scare the child more when she was still recovering from the shock. He offered her a gentle smile and her sobs turned into quiet sniffles.
He picked up the ball that was behind him and held it out to the young girl. She stared at him warily.
“I’m not going to hurt you; this is your ball, isn’t it?” he informed her kindly and the girl nodded her little head slightly. She held her hands out for the ball and he placed it in her palms gently.
Her expression calmed and she looked up at him. “T…thank you for saving me, mister”. The full force of her eyes hit him then, her eyes were so similar to the eyes of the woman he loved.
“No problem, you be careful on these roads from now on, cara mia” he spoke in a light scolding tone. It was only after he’d finished speaking, that he realized that he’d called the child ‘cara mia’, why did that slip out, he thought.
The little girl nodded at him with a wide smile and looked left and right before crossing the road. Leonardo watched her make it safely across the road. She turned back around and waved goodbye to him before skipping off further down the street.
He was a second too late waving back, she’d already turned around before she’d seen it, since when was I so slow, he thought.
It felt like his brain was trying to connect dots, his heart was beating faster than usual but he brushed it all off and continued on his way. Just before he turned the corner, he heard a distant voice.
“Did you have a good day at school, Y/n?”
Upon hearing that name, Leonardo spun around quickly and his eyes zeroed in on the same child he had just saved, she was at the front of a door step.
“Yes mommy, we learnt there are all sorts of languages in the world, it was so cool”
Leonardo’s heart was beating too fast now. His brain was trying to rationalize with his heart telling him it could just be an incredible coincidence that the child that reminded him so much of his cara mia was also called Y/n.
It was at this moment that Leonardo recalled a memory from his time with Y/n.
“Tell me something about your childhood” he had suggested to her
It was late at night; she was lying on his chest as he carded his fingers through her soft hair.
She pondered for a moment before speaking. “Ah, I thought of something, so when I was about 6 years old, my parents and I painted our mailbox, I painted a pink flower right in the middle and I was so proud of it, the last I saw of it, the paint was all faded and you could hardly see it”
At the time he had hummed at her story and imagined her as a child, laughing with her family with paint on her cheeks.
He snapped out of the memory with a start, his eyes scanning the garden for a mailbox, he wasn’t sure if he was hoping it really was her or not.
Then he saw it, right at the front of the fence, a white mailbox with a freshly painted pink flower in the middle. His breath caught as he stared at it with wide eyes. The girl had long entered her home and the door had long closed.
It was her; he was sure of this now. The young girl he just saved was his cara mia long before she met him. He stared at the house for a few more long minutes before prying his eyes off it and turning around.
It was hard to not turn back around but he continued down the street. He’d been in her life before they even knew each other.
He was never necessarily looking for her but now he’d found her all his morals dissipated and at this moment he knew that there was no doubt he wouldn’t end up walking down this street again one day.
Talking to her again though was out of the question, as much as he might want to. He didn’t want to accidently change history. He’s missed her so much for decades now and when she got older, he could love her in this time instead and get to be with her again but he wouldn’t, it would ruin everything they built together because if he did that then their time together in the 19th century never would have happened.
He'd walked far enough now that the house was no longer in sight. He took a deep breath and prepared himself to carry on living without her for all eternity.

TETSUBO | TWO
Tumblr media
pairing: leonardo hamato x black! fem! reader
word count: 2.4k, longer than my usual
warnings: violence, blood, gets a little dark, innuendos, mutation, mutants, happens in the shows timeline but all are aged up 3 years, and sadly April doesn’t exist.
a/n: very much self insert
...
"Black Submarine, are we clear?" Raph asked over the walkie-talkies.
I took a quick look around to make sure no one else was on the rooftop. "Affirmative, Red Rover."
"Copy," he smirked, hanging up.
I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.
'I don't know how I let them talk be into this.'
The boys wanted to do a cannonball into this rooftop pool and me, being the sucker I am, said yes to helping them.
Just then, Donnie's grappling hook attached to the building behind me, and the boys came zipping over not too long after.
I zipped up my poncho as Raph gave them the signal and they all jumped off the zip-line.
"Cow!"
"A!"
"Bun!"
"Ga!"
"CANNONBALL!" They all shouted with a smile.
I whipped out my camera and caught the moment just as the crashed into the water, clearing out the entire pool.
"Whoo hoooo!" I cheered throwing my fist in the air as they danced in the now empty pool.
"You must be this rad to ride that ride," Mikey smiled, pointing at himself.
"Uh, based on our velocity and entry angle...I concur! We rad," Donnie smirked, throwing down some peace signs.
"You guys crushed it," I congratulated, unzipping my raincoat and throwing it to the side. "Gimme three."
They each jumped out the pool and gave me a high five, adding their own little flip or spin to it.
"Couldn't have done it without you, (y/n). Our girl with the plan," Raph smiled.
"And keys to the roof," Leo smirked, throwing his arm around my shoulder as he jingled the keys, making me swipe them back from him, blush growing on my face.
"Now let's go bungee dunk on the hoops at Rucker Park," Mikey cheesed, squeezing his way in between the two of us.
'Thank youuuu, Mikey.'
"I'm down. Just one thing first," I nodded, grabbing two signs and tossing them on the ground. "Wet Floor and Dry Pool."
"My work is done here. Leo, can I hitch a ride?" I asked, turning to the blue clad turtle with smile.
"O' course, sweetheart," he grinned, turning around and crouching. "Hop on~."
I rolled my eyes and blushed, grabbing his neck and wrapping my legs around his waist. "You irk me so much," I sighed.
"You love it," he shook off.
I rested my head on his shoulder and they jumped off the roof, landing on the next one when Raph missed and crashed into the wall.
"Hey, guys, hold up. Poor thing looks lost," he stated, pointing to a little cat-dog thing in the middle of a construction site.
We all jumped down to see it, Raph's jump startling the little thing.
"Awww. Hey, little guy. What are you doing here? Come to big Raphie," he cooed, trying to get the thing's attention.
Everyone did their best to silence their snickers.
"What? Pets love me, all right? I am one with the animals," Raph smiled.
The thing made quick work scratching up his face before jumping into my arms, licking my face.
It was love at first sight.
"Ack! You are so ADORABLE!" I smiled, rubbing my nose with it's own.
"Pfft. I can be adorable," Leo scoffed, crossing his arms.
"It looks so weird. What is it?" Mikey asked, scratching his head.
"It's mine is what it is," I cheesed, giving it a hug.
"Maybe it's some kind of nuclear St. Bernard," Donnie joked, noting the thing's collar, which had some glowing green liquid inside.
A loud scoff interrupted us and we all turned around to see two, large human men standing at the entrance to the site, with dogs in their baby holders.
"Ooh! Humans! Initiate plan H," Raph whispered.
"Um, excuse me, sirs. Can you direct us to your local science fiction convention that we are currently dressed for?" Leo asked, giving himself a lisp.
I did everything in my power to hold in a snicker.
'Oh, I am never letting him live this down.'
"Snazzy alien turtle outfits, huh?" Mikey nasally smirked, adjusting his sash.
"We are just typical, normal humans who got lost in the middle of our normal, everyday human lives. Nailed it," Donnie awkwardly chimed.
I facepalmed, my new pet doing the same thing.
"Dude, you gotta make it to rehearsal," Leo whispered.
"Give to me creature. How you say....Pretty please...or I'll destroy you," the larger on threatened me with a Russian accent, getting closer.
Leo quickly stepped in front of me, shooting the man a glare as I blushed behind him.
'Get yourself together, (y/n)!'
"Really? You think you're gonna step to our friend? Rookie mistake, hoss," Raph threatened back, cracking his knuckles.
"And if you step to my friends for stepping to you for stepping to me? You're gonna have to step to me, dicks," I added, sticking my tongue out at them with a smirk.
"You do not intimidate us, with or without your fake nerd voices," the Russian one dismissed.
"That was actually my real voice," Donnie frowned, crossing his arms.
"Well, you better get intimidated, 'cause we're like nothing you've ever seen," Raph smirked.
"What's wrong with my voice?" Donnie asked the rest of us.
"Not now, Don," I sighed, giving him a pat on the shoulder.
Suddenly, the two men started glowing purple, these purple-light-blobs circling them.
"Whoa!"
"No way!"
"Dude."
"Jumping Jack Flash!"
My eyes went wide as their dogs began turning into some hell-hounds or somethin', and they turned into these aliens with armor.
"So...you guys from Jersey?" Leo joked at we stood off.
"Really, Leo?" I groaned.
"What? I can't make a joke in the middle of the craziest thing ever? That's how I cope," he smiled.
"Whatever. This is our chance to finally use these babies," Raph smiled as the brothers whipped out their new weapons.
As the guys charged as us, I shook my head. "I can fight thugs and all, but aliens and hell-dogs were not in the job description so...I'm just gonna go over here," I excused, getting me and my new dog friend out of the way.
"Guys, I got this," Donnie smirked, activating the jets in his bo-staff. "Fibonacci!"
It was about to hit the alien, but instead spiraled out of control in mid air, so my dog teleported in the air, grabbed it, and brought it back to Donnie, coming right back to me after.
"Hey, it plays fetch. And teleports, which is--OH, MY GOSH, IT TELEPORTS!" Donnie freaked, quickly getting shot with a glowing beam of light from the alien's sword, landing on a stack of cinderblocks.
"Holy shit, Donnie! Are you okay?" I frantically asked, running over to him.
"Pro tip: the inexplicable glow-y wave--extraordinarily painful," he groaned.
I turned back to the rest of them to see that we were losing, bad. Leo was on the floor, Mikey had beat himself up with his nunchucks, and Raph had just gotten toss by the hell-hound.
'Shit!'
"Hey! Uglier and Ugliest! Leave them alone!" I spat, throwing bricks at the monsters.
One of them made their hand glow again and I swallowed hard, preparing for the beam coming my way, but instead, it made a force-field come around my new dog friend.
He tried teleporting out of it, but it wouldn't let him.
"Hey!" I shouted as they starting pulling him towards them. I held onto the field as tight as I could as it dragged me along with it, shock of electricity eventually shooting me back
"I have the agent and the vial. Hyah!" The monster shouted, his hand opening this weird looking portal in the wall.
"Whoa!" The boy marveled, the sound of a bicycle bell interrupting them.
"Sweet shortcut," A man with shockingly large earlobes smiled as he he rode his bike towards the portal.
"Wait, this is not a short cuuuuut--AAAAAAAAH!"
"Aah! Good to know," Mikey winced.
The monster got back on his hound and began riding towards the portal, my dog friend still in his hand.
"Hey! Give him back!" I exclaimed, running after them.
"(y/n)! No!" Leo dove after me as I jumped into the portal, it shutting before he could make it.
"AAAAAAAAAH!" I screamed as I free fell down this blue hole.
'If I die, I'm haunting those guys for the rest of their lives.'
I landed on this hard, stone bridge and lifted my head, only to see all these different types of mystical, alien looking things everywhere.
"Whoa," I gasped, standing up. "I'm definitely not in New York anymore."
I looked up into the sky to see a window like thing that let me view the Metro Apartments and the above-world sky.
'So maybe I'm just under New York.'
I turned around to see this large, castle-like building not too far away.
"Maybe they took him there."
...
After a lot of exploring, I've come to the conclusion that this castle has a lab, which is where they're keeping my little dog friend and the food delivery guy.
I still don't know how I'm gonna save my little friend and get out of here, so I barricaded myself in the weapons room for the time being.
"I gotta find something to defend myself with. Who knows when some mutant-thing'll show up," I sighed, walking up the steps to the weapons platform.
There were so many to choose from, battle axes, kunai knives, shurikens, the whole nine.
"(y/n)," a voice whispered.
I whipped my head around to see something glowing (f/c) in a barrel of weapons. And despite my better judgement, I went towards it, pushing the rest of the weapons out of the way to reveal a tetsubo.
"Dibs," I smiled, picking it up.
I almost immediately dropped it. The shit was heavy.
"I'll get used to it."
Out of nowhere, I heard arguing coming from the tunnel, and it was coming fast.
I got into a fighting stance, holding the tetsubo like a baseball bat, as whatever it was finally landed.
It was the boys.
"It's like if magic and science had a baby!" Donnie smiled, looking around the room.
"(y/n)!" Leo smiled, jumping up and pulling me into a bone crushing hug. "Don't scare me like that, man. I thought I lost you."
My cheeks turned beet red and I looked up at him. "What? No faith in me?" I asked with a smirk.
"Pssh. You know I do," He smirked.
"Save the goo-goo eyes for later. Right now we need to get some weapons," Raph smirked, him and Mikey running up to the weapons platform.
"Oh, yeah. I got myself one," I smiled, triumphantly holding up my tetsubo as it glowed black.
"Oooooo," The three marveled.
As they scrambled to get some weapons I walked over to this crystal with Donnie.
"What about you, D? Don't you want a glow-y weapon?" I asked.
"No, I'm good. I'll never let you go," He happily whispered to his bo. "This looks interesting, though," he snatched the purple crystal.
"Oh, yeah!" Leo smirked at the three posed with their new weapons.
"Let's go save that dog thingy!" Raph cheered.
...
We rolled out the tunnel and landed in the laboratory, where this guy with sheep horns looked at us evilly.
'Oh, that's definitely the boss villain.'
"All right, you unusually buff bookworm, give us the little guy, and you'll walk out of here with your horns still attached," Raph ordered heroically.
"Shouldn't we also stop him from creating-crab men?" Leo added.
"Crab men?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow.
"Long story," Donnie sighed.
"Good note. Okay, give us the little guy, stop creating crab-men--." "Imitation crab-men," Donnie corrected.
"Jesus," I groaned, facepalming.
He kept on saying it over and over, the boys making their own revisions, so I got impatient.
"Enough talk!" I shouted, jumping down from the ledge and going straight for the sheep-guy.
"Oh, my gosh! She just ran in!" Mikey exclaimed, horrified.
"Puny human! How dare you attack Baron Draxum?!" he shouted, angry.
"Like this!" I smirked, bringing my tetsubo down on him, aiming for his head.
He managed to move out the way just in time and I slammed it on the ground instead, a (f/c) glow surrounding me.
And suddenly, I multiplied into 5 other mes.
My eyes shot wide. "Holy shit!"
"Did she just multiply?!" Donnie exclaimed.
"I think I'm in heaven," Leo smirked.
I blushed dark red at his comment, but while I was distracted, Draxum threw down these seeds to created these purple, vine-tentacle things.
I dove out the way just in time and the boys jumped on top of them, hitching a ride. And out of nowhere, a giant robot thing popped out the ground.
'This is too freaky!'
"Oh, my gosh!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Aaah! It looked at me!" Leo shuddered.
It grabbed the tentacle-vines the whipped it, throwing the boys off, but they quickly jumped back up.
Leo grabbed his odachi and ran over to the monster's foot, slicing it clean off. So I took this as an opportunity to run up the thing's leg and back.
I wound up the tetsubo and suddenly, the 5 of me came back. "Awesome!"
But suddenly the six of us, turned into 50. "Doubly-Awesome!"
We all wound up the tetsubo again and slammed it into the thing's head, making it yell in pain and swipe it's hand at us, causing me and my doubles to fall off.
"Shit! Leo, catch me!" I shouted, the ground fast approaching.
"Which one?! You all look the same!" He panicked, frantically raking his eyes over all my doubles.
"The one that's gonna kill you if you don't catch me!" I growled.
"I'm just gonna guess!" He shook his head, jumping up and catching me just before I hit the ground, the rest of my doubles poofing away once they smashed into the rubble.
"You were this close to getting haunted," I breathlessly smirked, pinching my fingers.
"Relax, babe. You think I would let a pretty thing like you fall?" He smooth talked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
I turned dark red and turned away from him, crossing my arms. "Dumbass."
And with that, I passed out.
...
"Guys, I think she's waking up," Mikey smiled, calling the others.
"Really?! Out the way," Leo smiled, shoving his brother into a wall, smirking at me as I opened my eyes. "Good morning, Sunshine."
"Huh? What happened?" I asked, rubbing my head as I sat up.
Just then, my little dog friend appeared in my lap, giving me a happy yip and a lick to the face.
"Well, we found out we have mystic powers, defeated that Draxum guy, saved little guy over here, escaped the Hidden City, and accidentally released thousands of oozequitos into New York," Donnie listed on his fingers.
"Wow. Who knew someone so adorable could be the cause of so much mayhem. Hey! Mayhem's a cute name," I smiled, snuggling with my newfound friend.
"Alright, well we're gonna go play with our new mystic powers in the dojo. Wanna join?" Leo offered with a smile.
"Let's go," I smiled back, throwing my arm around his shoulder and having Mayhem teleport us.

Salaì: I like to think of myself as a semi responsible adult here.
Leonardo: Michelangelo is 70% of your impulse control and you know this.
Michelangelo: We are both 70% of each others' impulse control.
Salaì: Just two lil beasts in pinwheel hats spinning on the merry-go-round at dangerous velocities, holding each other’s hands so the other doesn’t fall off.

[Indulge] Leonardo is not entirely sure how the stuffed unicorn plushie ended up in his hands - someone had thrown it in his general direction, and here it is. Presumably it came from the same stand as the fairy wings that some people have been trying on.
His first thought is to put it back in the proper place, but just then, a familiar head of brown pops up within his line of sight, replacing the aforementioned first thought with another one - one of mischief that he really only experiences in his company.
And so, without considering the situation further -
"Oi. Catch!"
- he throws it, aimed squarely at his best friend's face.
"Eh?"
A familiar voice has his head turning in its direction, eyes already alight hearing a voice he'd know in his sleep — But while the voice registers (that's Leonardo, duh) the words take a second longer to process, and then there's already a big, supremely fluffy something flying towards him at impressive velocity, intent on beaning him, with perfect accuracy,
"Wah?!"
Right in the face. (Ding! Bullseye!)
There's a comical squawk, his arms flailing, moving only just in time to keep the object from tumbling to the floor entirely; And, oh! That's a cute plushie. A plushie that was just thrown squarely at his face. Grey eyes turn back to his friend, now sparkling in turn with an affectionate kind of malice-mischief, usually reserved for arm wrestling or spars — Completely unnecessary if he'd just caught the dang thing, but that's not the point! It's time for payback.
Also, Leonardo was definitely aiming for his face. A teensy smothering attempt is fair play. Brandishing the unicorn, Edward begins to close the distance with a cheeky grin.
"What, you're gonna let go of Mr. Stuffles without a hug?" He wiggles the unicorn's arms in emphasis. "C'mere!"

Suppose that such a spacecraft accelerates at 1 g, approaching more and more closely to the speed of light until the midpoint of the journey; and then is turned around and decelerates at 1 g until arriving at its destination. For most of the trip the velocity would be very close to the speed of light and time would slow down enormously. A nearby mission objective, a sun that may have planets, is Barnard’s Star, about six light-years away. It could be reached in about eight years as measured by clocks aboard the ship; the center of the Milky Way, in twenty-one years; M31, the Andromeda galaxy, in twenty-eight years. Of course, people left behind on Earth would see things differently. Instead of twenty-one years to the center of the Galaxy, they would measure an elapsed time of 30,000 years. When we got home, few of our friends would be left to greet us. In principle, such a journey, mounting the decimal points ever closer to the speed of light, would even permit us to circumnavigate the known universe in some fifty-six years ship time. We would return tens of billions of years in our future—to find the Earth a charred cinder and the Sun dead. Relativistic spaceflight makes the universe accessible to advanced civilizations, but only to those who go on the journey. There seems to be no way for information to travel back to those left behind any faster than the speed of light.  The designs for Orion, Daedalus and the Bussard Ramjet are probably farther from the actual interstellar spacecraft we will one day build than Leonardo’s models are from today’s supersonic transports. But if we do not destroy ourselves, I believe that we will one day venture to the stars. When our solar system is all explored, the planets of other stars will beckon.

The Sciences
Approximately 13.7 aeons ago, the infinitesimal, primeval singularity underwent an explosion of space itself. After a hundred billionth of a yoctosecond passed, the temperature of the universe was 1,800 trillion trillion degrees Fahrenheit.
A quadrillion is ten to the fifteenth power, or a 1 with 15 zeroes after it. A quintillion is 10 the 18th power. A sextillion is 10 to the 21st power. A septillion is 10 to the 24th power. An octillion is 10 to the 27th power. A vigintillion is 10 to the 63rd power. A centillion is 10 to the 303rd power.
It was the Italian astronomer and mathematician Galileo Galilei who said "science is written in the language of mathematics." Galileo is considered the father of modern science and is known for refining the invention of the telescope.
A chronon is a billionth of a trillionth of a second, the time it takes for a photon (a quantum of light) to cross the width of an electron at the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second, or 300,000 kilometers per second. A yoctosecond is a septillionth of a second. A zeptosecond is a sextillionth of a second. An attosecond is a quintillionth of a second. A femtosecond is a quadrillionth of a second. A picosecond is a trillionth of a second. A nanosecond is a billionth of a second. A microsecond is a millionth of a second. A millisecond is a thousandth of a second. In astronomy and geology, an aeon is a billion years.
A light-year is about 5.9 trillion miles. With the exception of the sun, the nearest star is proxima centauri and it is 4.24 light-years away. The large magellanic cloud is 179,000 light-years away. The virgo cluster is 60 million light-years away. The nearest quasar is 1 billion light-years away. The edge of the visible universe is 13.7 billion light-years away.
Mars has two moons: Phobos and Deimos. Phobos is 16.6 miles long and Deimos is 9.3 miles long. Deimos is two and a half times farther away from Mars than Phobos. Jupiter has 63 moons. Uranus has 27 moons.
Sir Isaac Newton, an Englishman, and Gotffried Wilhelm von Leibniz, a German, invented calculus. The word "algorithm", which is a step-by-step process for solving a problem, comes from the Muslims. The Muslims invented algebra. Pythagoras came up with the Pythagorean theorem, which uses the equation A squared plus B squared equals C squared to find the hypotenuse of a triangle. The medieval Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci is the namesake of the Fibonacci sequence, which is a string of numbers in which the two preceding numbers add up to the following number. An example of this would be the following: 1,1,2,3,5,8,13, and so on.
Absolute zero is negative 460 degrees Fahrenheit or negative 273 degrees Celsius, the point at which there is a total absence of thermal energy and matter stops moving. Under different circumstances, displacements transpire, which generates kinetic energy.
This planet is estimated to be 4.5 billion years old. There is a theory which postulates that early on in our universe's history, a large amount of matter annihilated itself with antimatter.
One theory for how life began posits that there was a primordial soup of amino acids and molecules collided until the right combination came together to form life. Evolutionary biology asserts that life began in the ocean.
Quantum mechanics is the science of the very small.
According to Werner Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, one cannot be sure of both the position and velocity of a particle. The four fundamental forces of physics are the electromagnetic force, the gravitational force, the strong nuclear interaction, and the weak nuclear interaction. Each force is carried by and/or corresponds with an elementary boson. The names of the elementary bosons are the graviton, the gluon, the virtual photon, and the W and Z bosons (also known as the intermediate vector bosons.) It is believed that these particles have no substructure.
The Multiverse theory posits that there are an infinite number of universes coexisting with ours on parallel dimensional planes. Other universes arose from the primordial vacuum when the big bang occurred. Some parallel universes are congenial to life, others are not.
Supposedly, any combination of anything and everything exists in the Multiverse, according to the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
Matter absorbs bundles of energy called photons. A photon is a quantum of light and light is a form of electromagnetic radiation.
Radioactivity and radiation are determined by the amount of neutrons in atomic nuclei. The number of protons in an atom's nucleus determines the element of the atom.
The Higgs boson, also known as the God particle, is believed to have brought mass into the universe.
Einstein's famous E=mc2 equation means energy equals mass times the speed of light squared. The theory of relativity has to do with converting matter into energy and vice versa. Nuclear fission is the process whereby the nuclei of certain heavy atoms (fissionable isotopes such as uranium-233, U-235, thorium-232, and plutonium-239) are bombarded by neutrons and split into two nearly equal parts. Nuclear fusion occurs with the nuclei of the hydrogen isotopes deuterium and tritium collide and coalesce, creating helium and giving off energy.
According to quantum computing, the universe is made up of information rather than matter and energy. Quantum computers utilize qubits, which can be a one, a zero, or both a one and zero simultaneously.
Technological singularity refers to the advent of human history during which technology surmounts all human obstacles and the post-human era begins. Human brains will be able to become vastly enhanced by having nanochips implanted in them and by having nanobots in the brain capillaries. Celestial mechanics will be able to be altered and the universe will be saturated with intelligence. Ray Kurzweil discusses these things in great detail in his book entitled "The Singularity Is Near".

Codice dell'innovazione tecnologica
Tumblr media
